Is waaaay too early for me to try anything Full Thrust, BFG on the other hand is a go. Admittedly, now back at home and no longer in a hurry, those 4 lances are seriously out of the scale, 2 lances and a free Lock On orders (on account of the barrel roll) seems more like it . While the speed of the fighters is indeed high, the Kadesh have to nearly depend on their performance to do damage. No cruisers, almost no direct fire power from their motherships, escort fleet... It's uphill battle for them. Of course we could try another approach, like making the Fuel Pods into Ordnance Markers released from the Motherships that in turn carry the fighters, who last only that turn. But thats up in the air until someone post another set of rules.
Still, if they do feel overpowered:

After waiting for this game to get released, and then finally discovering what was "That Thing"... well.. That first impression is hard to forget.
