A giant bat tried to steal the bear, but after minimal effort, you gained two meals.Conserving the bear and eating the bat, you go nap and then decide to return the sharp pointy stick to the dwarf that left it inside of the bear. You didn't manage to find them before they returned to their nest, but after small confrontation, you left it to other dwarf ad ran unscathed."Wake up, I'm thirsty." Says your left side"I am too. the bear doesn't have blood." Your right chimes in, but you ignore both, you crave fish, all that is to this.Quitting from your nest, you head downwards, it's a pretty long walk solely because the tunnel leading there is filled with twists and turns for no reason, you suppose that digging a straight path at some point could be of use.It's a boring walk as well, both for good and bad, good, because you didn't have to bother with expending energy to fight, bad because you had to listen to your other heads. But finally, you spot your target area.The tunnel is big and wide, if it wasn't so long, it could easily pass as a cavern and later, into a lake. The shore is littered with mushrooms of all sorts, and from under these fungi you spot running rats and other various snacks which won't fill you the way you want.Stepping in, you let your other heads drink while you scout the area, and soon enough you spot the two surprising happenings that drastically change the mood of the area. The amount of fish is small, you don't remember a shortage of them in this part of the river, the salt to the injury is also that the only fish swimming are the smallest one, not even remotely capable of satiating you. The other weird thing is the sound, echoing sound of something hitting hard wood or stem of thick shroom tree, joined with something outright drilling through the 'bark' of it, the source from you can gather, being higher, near the source."What's happening?" And since they patrol far off from your destination, you see very little.Further ahead you can only see silhouettes of the things that, possibly, cause the sound, and since it's just silhouettes, you spot little. a thick stick, a log perhaps, sticks out from the river, right in the middle of the stream. On the shores, you see a growing darkness slowly tighten quite literally. Bit by bit, the silhouette gets closer to each other from both sides, as if teeth slowly grew in length and try to swallow the entire tunnel. Ever so often you can spot what you can only hope to be a dwarf, moving from one side to another, completely ignoring the rather strong stream for some reason."Big monster, we can eat it!""Too risky, let's leave now.""But we're hungry.""So is that most likely.">"The bipedals ignore it, we can kill the ones in front of us and advance.">"My right is right, lets leave.">This is your tunnel, try to intimidate whatever's coming here.>What else?

A shriek loud and booming, stating your territory and trying to force whatever is currently trying to eat the river to scramble off.The smaller shrooms and rocks move and roll aside from the sheer voice power, and the dwarves in your part of the shore also run away yelling, you can spot one running away on the other side as well. But all of this is for naught, because the beast doesn't budge, what's even more annoying for you, is that it doesn't even seem to bother itself with a reply, as if it was in an eternal slumber, or deaf, or stupid."It doesn't move.""What do we do?"And before you can reply, you hear yells and sounds of the dwarves, and soon enough, from the, what you can assume to be, throat, emerge dwarves, exactly 13, all armed in long stick and some wearing the shiny rock which doesn't crumble. What's worse, you spot more in the back, only their outlines, they don't seem too keen on advancing."It vomits dwarves!" >>44920410Thanks for the opportunity to explain this:If your other head gets cut, it will most likely not regenerate during the battle, it will take much more time, probably few hours/a day and one additional head will pop out.But if YOU get cut, your body kicks into overdrive as defensive measure and the head comes back in seconds from being cut. Also 2 more heads come out additionally as well, this however takes almost all of stamina, so you'd be in the end, probably better off running.

What you're worried about more is the thing behind them.You charge into the advancing line, focusing on your current obstacles, your heads show bit of hesitation, but once you enter striking range, your left swipes in and bites into the dwarf who stood too close and snapped him like a twig with a wet crunch.You swipe ahead, pushing the sticks aside to your left, this lets your other half do the same with another dwarf. The line got already broken and they go back, to which you reply by stepping forward and, with a roar, swipe with your head, bashing two dwarves together and ram them into the wall, effectively putting them out for longer fight.As you pull your head in, you hear a loud SWISH! go in between you and your left, and then you spot the back line of dwarves.4 Dwarves hold what you call jumping sticks. They send smaller ones flying and penetrate a lot of things, although you worry little. Those sticks seem flimsy, not powerful and intimidating as some you've seen earlier.The dwarves scream in terror and back off into the beast, all while the flying sticks either miss or bounce off of you. Taking the advantage, you push in and now you see the mouth of this beast up close. And as you guessed, it's not normal.It grows from the wall, it's hide made out of the insides of the mushroom's stem, separate lines of hide seem to be connected by rocky things, probably sticks, but all you see is the flat end resting outside of it.The throat seems to be nonexistent, because behind the mouth there's... Nothing, just the water. Glancing to your left, you spot the long stick sticking out of your left, right in the middle, looking up, you spot the dwarves that are on the other side.Undeterred, you continue ripping, two more dwarves falling to your attacks, the one who can send sticks flying moving away from you. The crossing streams. Here the flora of shrooms is the biggest, practically a forest, and since the tunnel widens even further, you are not far off with calling it a forest, but the reason behind such name is different. Here, three quite big rivers join into a bigger one, the one you followed.Animals here are also small, too small to bother you, but if you desired, switching your hunting quarry wouldn't be a bad idea, you just might get your share if you press hunting hard enough. However, fishes is what you're interested in.Getting closer to the shore, you stand on the joint where all three waters connect, now you can spot some worthwhile fishes, but as it is with the underground, even the fish can kill you if you are not lucky. Especially in such deep water like here. You know better not to push your luck, so you hide as close as you can without sacrificing cover too much."What are you doing. We can hunt in the water." Your left comments your actions."That's true, we can hunt in the water.""I am not risking more wounds, I just want to eat something and then sleep." You reply.In wait, you watch the stream, hoping to pick out a shade of a huge fish or other animal to eat, the glow of nearby shrooms being helpful enough, but not even those can help if there's nothing to actually show. Undeterred, you sit through and wait, searching for anything to eat. This takes a lot of time you sense, and as you're getting bored enough to call it the end, something happens that hooks your attention yet again.You spot a Giant Bat, this wouldn't be weird enough to surprise you, but the sticks sticking out of its wings make it very interesting to watch. You see how it scrambles away from the tunnel, splashing into the water and being dragged away by the current, only to be impaled by a shining stick right in the chest and slowly dragged back onto ground by the shiny object. Closer look shows how it's possible; the stick is connected by something long and bendy. They emerge from the tunnel and head over to the Bat, dragging it onto the ground at the same time.Few of them step closer and circle it, then you see how they pull out little shiny sticks and stab it multiple times, you can hardly see the gore, but the ungodly shrieks of pain being drowned by blood and sounds of the skin and muscle being ripped give you a solid idea that they're trying to clumsily kill it. You almost feel bad for them, even in numbers they are incompetent at even mercy killing.After the deed was done, you hear cheerful sounds coming from them as they circle about and continue stabbing, curiously enough, they don't eat it right there, instead, they wrap bits of flesh into something white and pack it into their bags. And this is where you spot some familiarities from earlier, from yesterday technically speaking."Is it them?""Is that the one you decided to bring the stick back to?"You don't rule it out, they all seem to smell the same from a distance, and you'll be dammed if you can spot a difference visually from a group of tem, they're like doppelgangers, hairy and too sturdy for their good. Also annoying most of the time. You wait in hiding, you will still have things left to eat once they're done, you're all for free food, even if there's going to be less of it. Food is food and nothing will change that.They don't take long, each taking a single piece with them, some take two from what you spot, but it all matters little and in the end, they continue their walk down the tunnel where you came from, walking over through the shallowest parts of the water and getting to the shore.You wait a bit, making sure that they won't spot you, only then you make your way to the corpse, crossing the river and getting close. Now you partially regret your decision and your heads snarl at you to double your sense of regret, because there's not a whole lot left, but beggars can't be choosers and you feast on what's left. Satisfying your hunger, but not your sense of taste.Now you could use a nap. So you head back, but as you're heading the way you hence came, you notice your problem. The dwarves you've just meet are staying at the same place you've driven the earlier ones out. And some of them leave the most meaty bits out in the open, as if taunting you that unless you take them, they will go bad.>Charge through, try to force yourself to the other side.>Take your sweet time and walk the longest way, through the rightmost tunnel where the rivers met.>Kill them all to ensure that this road stays dwarf-free.>What else?
