Hello everyone I am back again, and I hope today's session will be rather productive. The holiday season took quite a toll on me, and now I'm proud to say that I am back. Without further adieu let's get on with the show.Cheers, DmitriTripcode: DmitriDonskoi !!oqOO4iellilCharacter Sheet: http://pastebin.com/52Hwwdth Twitter: @DonskoiDmitriPrevious Thread: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/44253445/ Name: Sergei YegorovichGender: Male*After all Modifiers have been added.10+1 CHA (+3) (Menshikov +3, Duke University +1)9 STR (+2) (Base +9)4 AGL (-1) (Base +4)6 INTE (+1) (Base +6)10 CON (+3) (Base +10)5 INTU (0) (Base 5, Menshikov -1, Time Traveler Novice +1)
Recap:You are Sergei Yegorovich, son of former Soviet citizens, and a first generation American, and university student. A little while ago you met a mysterious man by the name of Dr. Speranskii, and found yourself back in time to the year 1872. You appeared right in front of the Winter Palace, and were arrested but soon cleared of the charges in exchange for given the choice to assist the Inspector General of the Third Section in protection of the Tsar and his family. Today Is a big day however, and you yourself will be given an extensive tour of the Winter Palace to see the day to day operations, as well as take in the vast amounts of luxuries and grandeur that the Romanov Dynasty possesses. >Back to the Story:You wake up to the nudging of the Corporal by the name of Soloviev.“It is time to get up, Mr. Yegorovich.” The Corporal says before placing a clean guards uniform on your bedside table.“Whose is that?” You ask pointing at the Uniform.“That is an officers uniform commissioned by General Dreletn to make your presence less suspicious. I believe it is of the Captains rank.” Soloviev mentions then exhales some air in what seems like jealousy.“Oh thank you. Don’t worry Soloviev; I don’t feel like bossing anyone around really. I just have one goal in mind to return to where I came from and nothing more.” You say with confidence.“Very well then.” Soloviev says while walking out of the room.“What the hell is his problem?” you say to yourself.>There must be something I did or said? (Roll 1d20+3 Concentration to remember)>Get dressed and go down to breakfast.>Write-In.

>>44524809>There must be something I did or said?>Back to the Story“I wonder why he’s being so passive aggressive. I can’t think of anything out of the ordinary that happened last night…” you begin to mutter and begin to realize.“Wait a minute… shit that’s right the my notes. He was involved in them. But I wrote them in English. Surely someone like Soloviev can’t read English; or can he? What will he do or say to me if he finds out the truth? Should I ask him about it? What will happen to me if he knows?” you swallow your saliva and think to yourself. You begin to get dressed into the officers uniform, paying extra mind to carefully put it on and maintain a professional image. It is difficult but you manage to get all the buttons and ribbons in place. It makes sense that officers should value their image especially in this type of society. By the time you are finished and Soloviev returns along with another individual in civilian clothes.“Hello Mr. Yegorovich.” the man in civilian clothes states in a polite manner.“Uh… hello, may I ask for your name.” You reply.“Oh excuse me, I apologize, I am Dmitri Petrovich and it is a pleasure to meet you.” he bows deeply for some reason that you cannot understand why.“Pleasure to meet you Mr. Petrovich.” You reply in kind.“I was called here today under the orders of my superior to escort you to the Winter Palace, along with this outstanding Corporal right here. It looks like you’re ready. Should we be off now?” he asks you giving you a kind smile. It seems you’re being taken already to the Winter Palace this early in the morning. Surely they have something prepared for breakfast when you get there. Oh well, you can wait. You accompany Soloviev and Petrovich outside of St. Peter and Pauls, and make your way to a carriage, ready to make your departure. The ride might be a few minutes, however you feel you can have some idle conversation along the way.1/2

>>44525142>>44525248You seem to be rolling high even with the exceptional modifiers.>Ask Soloviev>Back to the story“Hey Soloviev, is something wrong? I’ve noticed you’ve rather quiet today.” you ask.“It’s really nothing, I just haven’t had any sleep last night. Something weird was bugging me tremendously but I can assure you it has nothing to do with you.” he answers mechanically.“Oh really? Are you sure? I haven’t really adjusted to your customs quite yet. I want to know if I have offended you in any way.” You ask politely, you desperately want to know whether you’ve potentially been found out or not.*In English*“Hello Mr. Yegorovich, how are you today? I can assure you nothing is wrong.” He smiles and nods his head.*End of English*“Well shit…” looks like you’ve been found out. If he read your journal which is most likely now, you could be a dead man. It looks like he feels pretty betrayed by you. You seemed to him to be a relatively honest man. If he found your history text, as well as your notes you could be potentially at his mercy. How do you want to respond?>*In English* ”Your secret is safe with me.” Give him a reassuring handshake. (Roll 1d20+4 Persuade)>”I can assure you I didn’t mean to offend” Bow your head and attempt to look innocent. (Roll 1d20+4 Bluff)>*In English* “Sometimes what is written is or was a falsehood. Do not be afraid, I can handle this.” (Roll 1d20+5 Composure)

>>44525424Let's wait a little while longer. Just in case someone rolls higher...There's another anon here now after all.
>>44525575I unfortunately have an essay to finish but i will check in from time to time.
>>44525424>>44525883fair enough>Attempted Reassurance“You’re secret is safe with me.” You smile and hold out your hand. You wait awhile and begin to look like a fool. It seems you’ve ticked him off. It makes sense, you kind of abandoned his trust, but at the same time you haven’t incriminated him yet. Maybe you can still save some face. Even if now he doesn’t trust you, you can attempt to repair it.“It’s not that I don’t trust you with anything, it’s that you’re kind of an enigma. I have no idea what your motives are. You may be genuine but the fact still remains that you’re still a complete stranger. I can assure you nothing will hopefully come of this predicament.” He responds after a period of silence.“Ouch, that really hurts.” You think to yourself. It looks like you’ve just about alienated yourself from him. You could still incriminate him and ruin him, or you could try and repair his trust in you. He may seem insignificant in rank, but his knowledge of English and your motives may cause problems in the future, perhaps there could be some benefit.Regardless of the current questions plaguing your mind, you’ve arrived at the gates of the Winter Palace, and are met with the Guards, as well as Mr. Dreletn.“Pleasure to meet you again Mr. Yegorovich, I hope you find your accommodations rather suitable.”“They are fine you reassure him.” You glance to your side to see Soloviev looking away from Dreletn, that could be a sign of fear.“I believe you may have not eaten yet, Dreletn responds to you. If you would please follow me, I’ve gathered a small entourage to eat at Nicholas Hall.” He smiles and with great hospitality leads you into the enormous gates of the wonderful estate.>I would love to know who’re we eating with.>This palace is beautiful, it is truly of symbol of the wealth and power of the Imperial family.>This place seems way too big to truly enjoy living in.
