Welcome to The Lost Island Quest. Last thread our hero, Alan Rodain, continued his journey towards a strange new land. After spending two weeks learning some subtle skills from the thief, Kyra, he focused on seeing if he could learn something as innate and mysterious as magic. After some futile attempts to listen to Eve's advice he eventually was able to summon forth the ability to stand a single gold coin on its edge with his mind. Now, with the feeling of mystical energy swirling within him, Alan plans to ask Rowe to teach him how to properly use a bow.
“Man, I didn't know I was such a great teacher!” Eve exclaims in the aftermath of your successful attempt. Your heart is beating very fast in your chest. You admit, this is crazy. Up until today a niggling voice in the back of your head was telling you how this was all either a farce or a joke. Magic isn't real, the stories of the ancient times were fake, dragons never roamed the sky and giants never walked the planet. But this is the greatest counterpoint to all your doubts you've ever experienced. This is magic, small and seemingly useless, but it's real. Your heart's beating even faster now. You're getting a little light-headed too. That's not good.“Um, Alan, are you okay?” You're about to tell her that you're feeling a little overwhelmed right now, but it feels a little difficult to talk right now. Your vision starts to blur. You wobble a bit before stumbling into the wall with a hard WHUMP. “Oh crap.” Oh crap is right. You slide down the wall. You feel like the world is spinning and your center of gravity is traveling from your feet to your head, back and forth, in rapid succession. You feel very hot and very cold at the same time. Before it all becomes too unbearable, your vision goes to black and you find yourself passing out. You have the nightmare again. The one that really gets to you. It always begins the same way.>Searching through your father's study>Preparing the ambush>Speaking with Tobias before the battle

PROFICIENCY: Short swordIt's your first battle. After months of training and preparing, watching others mustering out while your superiors praised your ingenuity, this is your first real strike against the Empire. An entire contingent of their infantry are marching through these mountains and your job is to attack them from the rear. Your knees are shaking and you feel like you might vomit. You're sure you're going to die here today. Ceril will be reconquered. All hope is lost. You push those feelings and fears aside as your commander rides between your lines. He gives a speech. You're Ceril's shield and sword. They must not be allowed to make it past these hills. The scouts give the signal. You all charge out.You reach their back lines in a matter of seconds. They're unable to change their formation, especially with the other half of your forces charging their front. Your lance goes through the first man you reach easily enough. You let go and switch to your short sword. You begin to hack into them. One, two, three. They weren't prepared for this. Their ranks break easily enough, they begin to break off and retreat back to their territory. You've won.Your superiors order you to run them down. If they regroup, they'll come back and kill more of your men. That can't happen. So you spur your horses onward and kill them as they flee on foot. You wait for your commander to give you the order to stop, but it doesn't come. You quickly lose track of your personal count. Was it thirty? Maybe forty that first battle? Some were crying. Many looked younger than you. You're promoted to a sergeant's position by the second battle. You're a captain by your fifth. You're good at what you do. How many is it, the new recruits ask? How many Imperial dogs have you sent to their graves? You can't remember. Hundreds most like. The Muller Mountains are made of skulls and bones. And one large peak is made from the corpses you've made. You find yourself drowning in it. (1/2)
You wake up. Your throat feels dry and your head hurts. Your eyes adjust to the artificial brightness of the lit lantern in your room. It is your room you're in, your bed you're laying in. You feel exhausted. You spot Quissonce sitting in a chair near your door. There is a large book in her lap and two more by her feet. She's currently, however, staring at a gold coin in her palm. She seems very engrossed. Some seconds pass before she stops and sighs, placing the coin in her pocket and going back to her book.“Stupid and impossible.” She crosses her legs and flips to a new page. >Ask her how long you've been out>Ask her to leave your room>Ask her if she actually knows any magic

How old are we QM? I don't remember you ever stating.
>>43813687>>43813687I've said young before, so I'd place you roughly in your 20s, probably no older than 26. If you want a specific age, go ahead and vote on it. Writing!
“How long have I been out?” you croak out. She jumps in surprise, obviously unaware you had woken up. “Oh. Um, about a day. You passed out and had a pretty strong fever. Eve and I have been taking turns watching you.” Huh, a whole day. You feel stiff and hungry. “Water.” You say to her. Quissonce puts her book down and grabs a pitcher off of your table and pours you a cup. You sit up in bed, feeling woozy as you do so. You down it in one gulp and she fills up another cup. After you go through that one you just tell her to give you the pitcher and drink straight from that. She hands you some bread and you munch on that. Quissonce steps back and leafs through her book a bit more as you eat. You've been wanting to ask this question for a while, so you just go for it.“Do you actually know any magic?” You finish your bread and wash it down with the pitcher. She looks up at you and for a second you see panic before she answers smoothly.“Of course I know –”“And not those tricks you were performing for the sailors, I mean real magic.” She stops and takes a breath.“No. I don't. Not for lack of trying, mind you. All the incantations are from real sources, none of them made up. But it doesn't work. Hocus pocus mumbo jumbo nonsense.” She pauses as she stares at you. “Were you really able to do it? Is that why you're sick, because you learned magic too quickly?”“Maybe. I was able to do it, don't know if that's why I'm sick. Makes sense, though.” She laughs and sits down, rubbing her temples.“Of course. First the gnome, now you. I'm sure the half-orc will manage to do it next.” (1/2)
“Don't give up hope.” She looks up at you. “Even if you can't do it yourself, maybe what you know will be useful once we're there. I'm in the dark here on most of this and if you've actually put time into studying it, you might be able to apply it in some way. Renault picked you for a reason, right?” She smiles.“Thanks. I think I really needed to hear that.” What to do now?>Ask Quissonce about her book>Rest for the day>Go see Eve >Go ask Rowe to help you learn to shoot>Go see Gabby

“Can I see your book?” you ask her. She picks up the one she's been reading and shows it to you. It seems to be a book about naval warfare. “No, not that one. The one you were reciting passages from at the magic show.” She gives a quick utterance of 'oh' before leaving your room and coming back a minute later with that old-looking tome of hers. She sits near your bed and hands it to you. You open it up and are quickly boggled at how little of this thing you can understand. There are some footnotes that use a combination of elvish and common that you can barely understand, but most of the pages are filled up with weird designs and symbols accompanied by a strange text in a language you don't understand. “What is this?” you ask her.“Oh, most of the magical spells you find in old libraries are written in Draconic. They say that dragons were the first spellcasters and the rest of us learned from them.” “What are all the weird symbols and pictures for? And why are there equations in here?” Some parts look like the ledgers your father kept of client's accounts.“Look, magic is a science of sorts. Proper gestures, hand movements and outside reagents are required to make it all work. Like, ships for example. You have to build a ship in a certain way so that it floats on the water. In the same way you need to cast spells in a certain way so that it actually works.”“But it doesn't work.”“I know.”>Have Quissonce teach you something about magic>Go find Gabby

“Could you teach me Draconic?” you ask Quissonce. She grimaces.“Well, I could try. Its a complex language and very hard to pronounce some of the words. I understand it, but trying to communicate it might be a tad difficult. It takes a lot of practice, study and focus.”“I have time.” She heads back into her room and comes back with a flat wooden board, some paper and some quills. She starts going through the basics of showing you common words and draconic phrases that appear often in spells. Over the course of a few days you go over conjugation and the differentiation between past tense, future tense and present tense. You also learn some of the quirks of the dead language that are unique to it. Apparently many words are simply unpronounceable without the ability to truly hiss, so it requires the rolling or extending of certain sounds to get an approximation of what it would sound like. Its quite difficult. You've never tried to learn a language before and you start to think that maybe your special ability doesn't work with something like languages. But suddenly, the day before your arrival everything clicks and you come to possess a building block type understanding of the language. “You up for a spar?” You haven't been in a fistfight in a long time, the last time was a bar brawl you barely remember. All you know is that it got you a black eye and a broken nose. It might be fun to actually get in some good old fashioned pugilism. Gabby cackles at that.“Really?” She eyes you up and down. Once she realizes you're serious she shrugs her shoulders. “OK, if you want to get your ass kicked that's fine with me. I'll warn you though, I don't ever go easy.” You find a part of the back of the ship where not much activity is going on and set up. You stretch a bit, having spent a lot of time cooped up in your room studying ancient languages, you feel like you need to give your body some time to get back into the groove of physical altercation. Gabby rolls her shoulders a bit before wrapping some bandages around her knuckles. She shadow boxes for a few seconds before meeting you in the center of your impromptu ring. You tap fists and then back up. There's a split second where the two of you are watching each other. And then she moves in. (1/3)
She's faster than you thought she'd be, coming in and making about three swift strikes at you. You pull up and block at the last split second. Her punches hurt. Its like she's her fists are warhammers. You are pushed back by her assault as she follows up with a couple more jabs. You have a second to catch your breath as she bounces on her feet.“Damn. Where did you learn to fight like this?”“Old monk. Monastery near the house. Gave me a place and the training to let loose.” She comes back at you. This time she's slower but hits even harder. She bobs left to right as she keeps the blows coming from both sides of you. You're barely holding her off when she finally gets a swing in and it connects to your face. You see stars for a second before you re-focus on the fight. Another fist is coming at you which you barely duck under. She sweeps your legs as you do it though and you land on your stomach, rolling as her foot comes down on the ship deck, busting through it a bit. You come up from the ground quickly.“Not bad. Not bad.” She chuckles a little. “Figured you'd be shit when on your own feet.” “Guess you were wrong. You mind telling me what you were doing earlier. The slow martial arts?”“Simple shit really. Just reacquainting the mind with the body in the morning. Remind myself it all fits together. Warm up the muscles and calm the mind. Okay, enough talk. Lets finish this.”She comes at you again. You think you're starting to get an idea of what she's doing. It all seems to flow from one attack to the next. She swings with one fist, then the other, an elbow comes at you. You weren't expecting the knee however. It knocks the wind out of you and you stumble backwards. She follows it with an uppercut to your chin. Its a lot of pain. You black out.
And then you come back. You're still standing. She's pulled back, thinking you're about to hit the deck. You know exactly what to do. You push forward and hit her in the cheek. A sound comes out of your mouth as you do it, an exultation of your effort. A bit like an extended “ssssssss” sound.“What the fuck” she utters. Whether she's surprised at the noise you just made or the fact she got hit, you can't tell. Your bring up a knee and pay her back for that earlier stunt. By the time she's back to her groove, you're laying into her faster than you've ever thrown punches before. She can catch most of them, but not all of them. One after the other you get through her defenses. Here it comes. Your last punch, the strongest one you've ever thrown in your life. She takes it on the chin. She flies off the ground and slams into the back railing of the ship. For a second you think she's about to tip over and fall into the ocean, but she manages to stop herself. You're breathing heavily. She's breathing heavily.“The fuck did that come from?” she almost demands from you.“I think from you.” PROFICIENCY: UNARMEDABILITY: STUNNING FISTABILITY: FLURRY OF BLOWS
As the two of you are still catching your breath, Eve rounds the corner.“Hey, we're almost there! Come take a look.” Gabby gives you a look that implies the two of you need to talk later and then follows after Eve. You go along too and see the rest of your group at the front of the ship, peering towards the island. It look like any ordinary island from this distance, maybe larger than most, but something in your bones feels different as you approach. The sailors get to work making things ready for when you reach the island. They begin to unpack a multitude of objects and start bringing things up to the top deck. You can see as you get closer that there seems to be a port town on the island. Its rather well-developed too. It looks like there may be anywhere from 1000 to 5000 inhabitants if you were to guess from the number of buildings and houses you see. As The Skipping Stone finally comes into port at the docks on the island, you feel the change. Something inside you seems to click as you enter the shallow waters near the beach. Even as the sailors scramble to moor the ship and start loading off cargo you can feel yourself grow stronger and faster. You feel that whirlpool of energy that first surfaced inside yourself when you first played with that coin turn into a tsunami. You look around at the others and from the looks in their eyes, they all seem to be going through something similar. Its dead silent for a long minute before Captain Faraday approaches you all from behind.“Welcome to Seaside! Trust me, it's a hell of a kick.” He walks off his ship and leaves the rest of you standing there.>Get off the ship and go on land immediately>Go talk to Quissonce>Go talk to Gabby

You feel amazing! You feel the urge to move. You immediately turn around and book it for the gangway. As you walk down the dock towards the beach you see the shacks and shanties of the island inhabitants. Many of them seem to have come out to help unload supplies off the ship. In the background you can see a tall tower standing many stories above the rest of the town. You see Gabby jump off the prow of the ship and dive into the water before quickly swimming onto the beach. “I feel like I just lost 50 pounds!” you hear her shout.“Me too.” you hear Eve respond as she follows after you.“You don't even weigh 50 pounds.” Quissonce chimes in next to her. Rowe follows you all, with Dolah hanging in the back, being very silent. As you prepare to start doing something, like finding a bar to get drunk at, you hear the clearing of a throat. Your heads turn to the sight of a rather inconspicuous, short, bald man wearing a brown tunic. (1/2)
“Now that I have your attention. May I please see your letters.” Captain Faraday walks up to him and hands the man a clipboard which he quickly signs. “Excuse me, I might be getting a bit ahead of myself. My name is Blackburn and I'm the overseer of Seaside here. I'm expecting seven recruits from Renault and I believe you're them. Is that correct, Faraday?” The Captain gives the man a quick nod. He approaches you all and one by one takes your letters, opens them and quickly scans them before placing them in a bag by his side. “Thank you all for you co-operation. Now I understand that this is your first time here, but please be careful. You are here to help further the goals of our republic and that will require your concentration and dedication. However, we are fully aware that recuperation and relaxation is necessary for optimal performance from you all, especially after something as droll as I can imagine your journey here was. So please, take a few hours to explore the city as much as you want. Please stay inside the city limits and observe the law. “Yeah, come on! Lets get fucking wasted!” Gabby seems to be quite enthusiastic about getting hammered. Rowe says she'll tag along and you're raring to go with them . . . but, you can't forget your worries just yet. You're here to help save Ceril and this Blackburn character is supposed to be the one running the whole thing. You have some questions about how this all works too. You tell them you'll meet up with them. Gabby looks disappointed, but goes off with Rowe and leaves you there on the docks. You watch as Captain Faraday and Blackburn discuss some rather mundane details. How many of the sailors are staying, how many mundane passengers were brought over to work civilian jobs, what the settlement needs for the next trip. After that they begin to discuss you and the rest of your group. Blackburn notices you listening in and raises his voice so you can hear clearly, subtly informing you that he's okay with you hearing all of this. He asks for a run down from Faraday about all your personalities and whether or not they seem to be a liability or if their potentials seem false. Faraday does bring up the volatility of Gabby, the self-interested aspect of Kyra, the potential fanaticism of Dolah and how Quissonce and Eve could very well be useless. Faraday apparently thinks Rowe is perfect. And then they get to talking about you. Blackburn questions the validity of someone whose potential is itself 'potential', but Faraday quickly brings up the fact that in three weeks time on board the ship you've learned a multitude of skills and talents. Its sign displays a lion dancing with a mug of ale in its paw. There's the Sword and Shield Tavern, a nice-looking bar that has a simple sign with a long sword crossed behind a round shield. Its name is based on one of the nicknames for the armed forces of Ceril. “The swords and shields of the realm.” It might be filled with former soldiers!>The Two Whore Pub>The Drunken Lion>The Sword and Shield Tavern

You decide to enter the Drunken Lion. It looks a bit cheaper than the Sword and Shield, while not being as grody as the Two Whore Pub. When you enter, you see that the entire place is filled with a hazy smoke. The serving wenches go from table to table dropping off mugs and you see that most of the patrons refrain from grabbing at them as they pass by. Above the mahogany counter is a stuffed lion head with a glass shoved between its teeth. The bar man seems to be a skinny man with a head full of shaggy brown hair. You look around at the patrons and don't see any of your friends. You're about to walk out when you notice, off in the corner sits Kyra. She's quietly sipping on a mug of ale. >Go sit with Kyra>Chat with the bar man>Leave and choose one of the other bars
>>43817691>>Chat with the bar manWe'll leave talking/looting with Kyra for last, because we know that'll cause a brawl.

To be quite honest, this place sucks. Its not good. Its not bad enough to be so bad its good. And you promised Gabby and Rowe you'd hang out with them, so maybe they're at one of the other bars. You walk out of The Drunken Lion and try the Sword and Shield next. This place is a lot bigger and a lot brighter. The bar man is a very muscular bald man and there are swords and shields attached to the wall all over the place. Its a lot more lively as well, with many more adventurous looking types talking and cavorting with each other. A fireplace roars in the back. There is a minstrel band playing and shouting going all around the place. The serving wenches are moving very quickly with a seemingly never ending stream of empty mugs and full ones moving from the back where the kitchen is, to the front. You notice Gabby sitting at the bar drinking, talking loudly to a nearby dwarf. You see Rowe playing a game of darts with a halfling. >Go sit next to Gabby>Go play darts with Rowe>C'mon, you have to see the inside of the Two Whore Pub

You decide you'll play darts with Rowe first. You walk across the bar, passing by a multitude of weird and unusual people. You make it to Rowe as she throws a dart and hits bullseye. “Yes! That's another one.” She turns to a plate filled with shots and downs one. The halfling chuckles as she does that.“What is that, four now?” Rowe throws again and gets another bullseye. “Five, actually.” She grabs another shot and swigs it. When she sees you she raises her arms. “ALAN! Glad you could make it finally. I'm busy getting my drinks paid for by Bartom over here.” She gestures with her hand towards the halfling. “I promised her every bullseye she hit I'd buy her a shot. So far she hasn't missed.” Rowe throws again and gets a sixth bullseye. “I can't believe I'm still hitting these. Maybe I'm more accurate when I'm sloshed.” She takes another shot.>Start tossing too, make it a game (bet something, stakes?)>Ask Bartom what he does around here>Ask Rowe about where she used to live>Ask Rowe to tell you a war story>Ask Rowe about what she's been feeling since the Island activated her potential

“Hey, you mind if we play a game?” You ask Rowe as you pick up a handful of darts.“One sec.” Rowe throws her last 5 darts in quick succession. Bullseye, bullseye, bullseye, bullseye, bullseye. “Okay, what're the stakes?” Rowe proceeds to down five more shots as you stand there with you mouth open. Bartom claps, thoroughly impressed.Well, you don't want to lose too much on this game, so that idea goes out the window. “So, how about whoever loses has to pay for the winner's drinks for the entire week?” Rowe's flushed face thinks for a bit then she shrugs.“Eh, sure.” You each pick up ten darts and prepare to throw them. Rowe goes first. Bullseye, of course. You come up to throw and . . . get a bullseye! Woo! It goes back to Rowe, who gets a bullseye. Then you go again. Bullseye. You go back and forth like this, both of you scoring bullseye on every throw. “Wow Alan, didn't know you were such a marksman!” Rowe gives a bit of a laugh before hiccuping. You aren't, but somehow you've been nailing every throw. When you think about it for a bit, you realize you've been mimicking Rowe's stance every time. “Let's just keep going until one of us fucks up.” As you play, on your breaks you ask Bartom about his role in the settlement. He pushes a blonde strand of scraggly hair behind his ears before you see a malicious glint in his eyes. “I bake pies.” Rowe freezes and looks over at him before throwing.“Pies? Like, meat pies?” “Yes, people say they're the best in town too. Would you like to try one, first one's free!” The fiend. Buy people drinks one night, entice them with good food and they'll go to you for something to eat while drunk the rest of their lives. He's a criminal genius. He goes out to grab them while you and Rowe continue your game. (1/2)
“So, how have you been feeling since you got on the island?”“Great. I feel like my eyes are sharper than ever. Like I can't miss.” She hits the bullseye again. “Yeah, I think you literally can't miss.” You throw and hit the bullseye again.“Eh, I'm not perfect. Besides, you've been hitting every single bullseye too.” “Hey, how about we up the stakes a -” as you're about to finish your sentence Rowe's throw goes off target a bit, hitting the inner ring, but not the bullseye. “Shit. Looks like you beat me. I'll go up and cover your tab for tonight. That was fun, we should hang out more.” You look back to the rest of the bar. By now you've had for yourself a couple shots and you're feeling them. You see Quissonce and Eve showed up to the bar at some point and seem to be talking to each other at a table in the corner. Gabby is still at the bar and it looks like she's very drunk. >Don't forget the pies!>Go talk to Quissonce and Eve>Go hang out with Gabby

You aren't forgetting what Bartom promised you, even if it will doom you to giving him money for the rest of your time on this island. He finally arrives with two delicious meat pies. You can smell how good they'll taste. He hands them off to you and you give one to Rowe, who thanks you in quite a slurred fashion. Ten shots can really change the way a person acts, but even in a drunken stupor she seems like the same stable, friendly Rowe. After you start to dig into your own pie, you decide to see what Quissonce and Eve have gotten themselves up to. You walk over to their table and see them looking rather glum. Quissonce's hands are stuck in a bucket of water and Eve is holding her face in her hands as she casually watchies a rag float through the air as if it was moving of its own accord.“What's with the bucket?” Quissonce's face goes red as Eve starts to laugh, letting her concentration slip enough for the rag to fall back to the table.“I, uh, I set my hands on fire.” “Y'know, I think that's what's supposed to happen.” Eve chimes in.“It burned.”“Its all in your head. You saw your hands on fire and thought you should be in pain, so your brain tricked you into feeling pain.” >So Quissonce can cast magic?>Why do you two look unhappy?>Anything new you guys can do?>Go talk to Gabby

“So Quissonce, you can cast magic?” Her frown momentarily turns into a smile as she answers.“Yes, I think I can! Its weird, I didn't feel too different on the island, but all the motions are starting to work now. Its hard to explain. Imagine trying to start a fire with wet wood. It doesn't work, but now everything's dry. So I can start fires now.”“Literally.” Eve chuckles as Quissonce gives her a look. “So, you guys find you can do anything new?” “Well Quissonce now has the ability to set her hands on fire, while I, the amazing Eve have developed . . . THIS!” Eve throws her hands out. Claws begin to grow from beneath her fingertips. She play swipes them at the two of you for a couple seconds. “Rawr!” That seems sorta useless, but you decide to not rain on Eve's parade. Especially since it seems like they're down in the dumps as it is.“What's making you two glum?” Quissonce drums her fingers on the table.“Well, as it turns out there's already a bunch of magic users already here. They all stay in that tower in the city. It's called the Circle of Mages. Apparently they have tomes of magic and many different types of spell casters, but . . .”“1000 gold just to join.” Eve sighs out. That is a lot of money. “It is going to take us forever to earn the money to get the three of us in.”>Three?>Go talk to Gabby>I'm sure we can think of some way to get the money>Go buy more pies

You're feeling pretty conflicted on that whole pie situation. Get more to stave off the hunger for a bit longer, or quit cold turkey and see if you can kick the addiction. You'll deal with that issue later.“I'm sure we can think of some way to get the money.”“Three thousand gold?” Quissonce asks you incredulously. “No get rich quick scheme is going to make us that much money without at least a year's worth of effort. We can't just conjure that out of thin air. Not yet anyway. We'd probably need to be in the Circle to learn that spell!”Three thousand? “Wouldn't you only need two thousand gold? There's only two of you.”“I'm not leaving you behind.” Eve responds. “You're my apprentice, I have a duty to teach you.” Quissonce cocks an eyebrow at this statement.“Apprentice? How is he your apprentice?”“I'm the one who helped him tap into his potential. We have a magic bond now, as student and master.”“That's not a thing. That's something you just made up. How could you teach him anything anyway. You have no idea how you do what you do. If anything he's my apprentice.” “Didn't you just get the ability to cast magic, like, today?”“Yes, but I've had the knowledge for decades now. And you need knowledge and experience to teach. I taught him Draconic, one of the most complex, dead languages in existence in merely a week.”“So, what does that have to do with magic.”“Everything! It's the language of magic. You'd know this if you actually studied it.”“Whatever, I bet you didn't even teach him how to hiss correctly!”>Calm down, I'm Eve's apprentice>Calm down, I'm Quissonce's apprentice>Calm down, I'm nobody's apprentice>Calm down, I'm both of your's apprentice
>>43819107>>Calm down, I'm nobody's apprentice
“Calm down, I'm nobody's apprentice.” The two of them look at you and then look back at each other. Quissonce turns to Eve.“The nerve, after all we've done for him.” Eve just shakes her head at you. You decide to be done with this conversation. Its finally time to go talk to Gabby. You owe her at least a conversation about that sparring match and you've been putting it off for too long. You get up to go speak to her when you notice Kyra is also here now, talking with Gabby and Rowe. Looks like you're all in one place together.Well, all of you except – BOOM! The door to the bar slams open and in steps Dolah. She's clad head to toe in shiny plate mail, holding a heavy steel shield in one hand and sporting a large lucerne hammer in the other. The loud murmuring of voices in The Sword and Shield goes quiet as she makes her entrance. Behind her you can hear what sound like screams coming from the main street.“Allies to me! The city is under attack!” She quickly spins around on her heels and strides away from the door. For a brief moment everyone in the tavern freezes. Looks like that conversation with Gabby will have to wait a little bit longer.>End of ThreadI will most likely run this saturday in the daytime.
