PREVIOUSLY: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?searchall=Star+Wars%3A+Fortune+Hunter“Uh, Listen, Erma. Maybe we could talk about this.” Last time you escaped from the Vode An, you ended up destroying their hangar bay and completely wrecking most of their Starfighter complement. You imagine Erma and her cadre of Mandalorian battle sisters are not exactly to arrest you peacefully. Your R-22 slowly pulls in below your Barloz as the Vode An steers towards the two of you. “Look, maybe I broke your heart and betrayed your little gang of pirates and stole something incredibly venerable to the Vizsla household, but that doesn’t excuse holding a grudge.”The response is a very swift Ion pulse to the Barloz’s thrusters. “We have lost power to engines,” states Lev. “We are currently drifting.” … okay, it seems like they’re not willing to talk.“No time for talk now,” says Erma. “You’re going to face justice for what you did to House Vizsla, and to the Furies, and to all of Mandalore.” Slowly, you can see the Barloz be pulled away from you as you try to dock.“Rhys!” Misri yells to you over the comms. “They got us caught in a tractor beam!” Oh, they finally fixed that? You were wondering why they didn’t use that on you back on Nar Shaddaa. Guess that sabotage even before you met them again paid off up until now. “We can’t move!”“No, no, you’re moving,” you say, trying to calm her down. “Just… into their ship.”“What!?” screams Misri.[1/2]
>>43741478[2/2]“Okay, that’s not-“ You stop yourself. No, you’re going to make things worse. “Look, just stay where you are, they ain’t going to hurt you. Just uh…” You check your systems. You’re still below the Barloz, which means their Tractor beam can’t touch you. And with Erma, Lima, and Uggla still flying closely around you, you might be able to pull off a miracle of some sort. But it most likely will involve leaving the Barloz behind. You quickly check your subsystems. Shields are recharging, minor damage to power capacitors… Hyperdrive is functioning.> Make a run for it. You can always save the Barloz and Misri later.> Allow yourself to be taken in. You’d probably make yourself out as a coward anyway.> Other

>>43741596I think you're fine for now. I mostly treat all shields, sensors, and weapons relatively the same unless the Wook says otherwise.

>>43741627Oh okay then, I'll do it unless says otherwise in the Wook and what you said, but I just thought I should have bring it up since there was a lot of information on sensor an shield tech as i was skimming through the wiki.

> Allow yourself to be taken in. You’d probably make yourself out as a coward anyway. You sigh. Against your better judgement, and because all of your navigation work regarding the RAS Bailoff is on the Barloz and not the R-22, you have to let yourself be captured. You have to remind yourself to backup the data somewhere on this fighter. “Alright. You got me,” you say over the universal comms. “Disabling weapons.” You turn off your weapons, and power down the engines to about 10% to let yourself dock with the Vode An more easily.“Awesome!” says Uggla. “Warmaster Vizsla is going to love this!”“It’s going to be nice to see you again, Rhys!” Lima says happily. “We can catch up!”Yeah, for all of five minutes before Vizsla cuts your head off and mounts it over her throne. You shake your head. The Vode An opens its main hangar doors, which stretch across the top hull. Even from here you can see the damage you dealt from the last time you saw them. There’s still a lot of holes, some collapsed Starfighters, and lots of astromech droids fixing the damage. The Barloz is the first to land, between the rows of Starfighters. Behind it, you land the R-22. You quickly lock up the cockpit and scratch at your mask. The three girls land in empty spots for fighters, then dismount and start walking to your R-22. They’re joined by some deck hands as well, along with a few other Furies wearing their own custom Mandalorian armor. Times are tough for the Mandos, ceremonial armor has to be given up and smelted into weapons and armor, blasters have to be repurposed for special use in the Empire, ships have to be impounded. Suffice to say, things still are as hodgepodge as you last remember it.[1/3]
That ominous silence. I really can't thing of anything to help us run from this mess. I wonder if we should have just run away instead of figthing those rebels. And my friends keep asking why i hate Mannah, god dammit planet, i never got anything good happening in there. Not evne in the KOTOR games.
>>43741929[2/2]Erma climbs up onto your hull, pulling off her helmet and brushing back her short blonde hair. Lima as well pulls off her helmet, undoing the ponytail holding her hair together and quickly swishing it into longer hair past her shoulders. She smiles at you, freckles on her cheeks, red and yellow highlights on her brown hair. They’re still as cute and lovely as the day you first met.“Open up!” Erma kicks your cockpit window. “So I can show you why we’re called Furies!”Uggla climbs up next to Lima, waving at you. “Hi, Rhys! Remember me?” she asks, waving her hand. You nod, awkwardly waving at her. “Ah, you do!” She snaps her fingers, pointing at you and grinning. “Such a gentlemen!”Erma pulls the lightsaber off of her belt and ignites the blue glowing blade. “Don’t make me chop this cockpit open! I might just accidentally gut you while doing it!” You hold up your hand, and take your time unlocking the cockpit. The hatch releases, rising up as you stand up and pull down your mask. Your sun visor retracts back into your helmet as you look upon all the Furies, who stare at you contemptuously. Well, except for Lima and Uggla.“Hugs!” Uggla immediately hugs you, giggling. “Aw, it’s great to see you again, Rhys!” Erma snaps the lightsaber off, snapping it back onto her belt. Uggla pulls away. “Well, except for the whole issue with the Basilisk and you also nearly destroying the Vode An over Nar Shaddaa and leaving us to the Hutts and uh… yeah. But I forgive you!” she says with a smile. You step out of the R-22 and onto the familiar cold hard floor of the Vode An.Erma drops down next to you. “Cuff him. The Warmaster will want to see you personally in private.”> “I don’t suppose I can’t see you in private either, Erma?”> Remain quiet. Don’t make this harder than it needs to be.> “Look. > Other“Look, listen, Erma. I work for the Empire-““You find new ways to make me hate you every time I see you, don’t you,” says Erma very simply.“And that ship, and this Starfighter, are Imperial property. The crew in that Barloz work for them too, but they have no quarrel with you. Seizing the Barloz would be an act of war against the Empire, you’d bring them down on you.”“Why do we care?” asks Lima. You look at her, confused. “We’re pirates. We’re not a governmental body. Mandalore as an independent nation ceased to exist when the Empire occupied it. We’re technically not even a government-in-exile since we have no relations with the old Mandalorian government which already was fractured by the Civil War.” Hm, smart. Lima smiles. “But I admire your bravery, saving your crew!”“Look. Can you just let them go?” you ask. “You can keep my R-22 and me. But everyone in the Barloz is free, they’re not involved with what’s going on between you and me. You and me especially, Erma.” She slaps you hard on the cheek, silencing you.“Disgusting,” she mutters. “You were trouble enough as a smuggler and a thief, but an agent for the Empire?” She shakes her head, looking at you the same way an Imperial Officer would look at an ugnaught. “Absolutely disgusting.”You smirk a little. “Maybe you like that.” She slaps you again, flooring you this time. You feel your cheek burn at the sting of her palm. She’s got an arm. But before she can further hurt you, the voice of Warmaster Vizsla freezes everyone.[1/3]
>>43742700[2/3]“Erma. Refrain from killing him, please.” Erma steps back. “Send him to my throne. I would like to have a personal talk with Mister Cykgil.” Erma looks positively furious, but she relents. Nobody goes against Warmaster Vizsla after all. A pair of Furies help you to your feet. “And as for the Barloz, leave it in our hangar. We have no reason to fear the Empire just yet. It’s not like they want to be known for colluding with pirates and thugs like Mister Cykgil.” They start marching you down the hangar.--The Throne Room aboard the Vode An was custom made, refitted out of an old briefing room. It was expanded to house the few hundred members of the Furies, both full and honorary. And at the far end of it, beneath the banners of the old Clans of Mandalore, with House Vizsla being most prominent was her throne. Warmaster Vizsla sat upon this throne, dressed in shining Mandalorian armor, a half cape draped over her shoulder bearing the Vizsla sigil, her helmet at her feet, and by her side was silver protocol droid.“Warmaster Vizsla,” you say as you step into the throne room, escorted by a squad of her Majesty’s finest. “I see you’re as cute and adorable and absolutely out of your depth as ever. Happy sixteenth birthday by the way.”She rolls her watery blue eyes, brushing her curly blonde hair back. “Feh. You cannot anger me with jokes and insults regarding my age. I am of age to inherit the title of Mandalore from my kin now. All that is left is for me to reclaim the Halls of Mandalore, its cities, and its people from the Empire.”“Well, considering you haven’t started yet,” you say. “I can see you aren’t ready. Which begs the question of why you haven’t released my crew or my ship. They don’t have any quarrel with you.”
>>43742718[3/3]“I know they don’t,” she says, squinting at you. “Our quarrel is squarely with you, Mister Cykgil. We do not forgive grand theft on the scale of yours, especially not sabotage, and blatant destruction of our property.” She stands up, placing her hands on her hips. Kids these days, think they know everything. “You are to be punished. Severely.” She pulls the shock whip from her belt, running the strand through her fingers. You sigh. “Punish me then. But not the crew.”“Oh, of course not,” she says as she steps down towards you. “They will be released in due time. But it is you I want for now.”You smirk a little. “You’re a little too young for me.”She glares at you. “I would admire your bravery, but I’m fully aware that your higher cognitive thoughts don’t come from up high. It comes from down low.” She folds her arms, looking up at you. “Your crew is in your safe hands, rest assured. Your droids will be cleaned, given an oil bath, and returned. And your one crewmember will be bathed, clothed, and fed.”“That’s nice of you,” you say. “But…”“But nothing,” she says. “Let’s talk about the now. The now is that we have you, and we are fully prepared to punish you, kill you even and parade your corpse through the halls of the Vode An.” Hm, you didn’t think you were that handsome for that. “Tell me, nay, beg me. I would like to hear why you do not deserve such a fate.”> Charisma: “I think you’re far too nice of a girl to even consider something like that.”> Intelligence: “Because if you kill me, the Empire won’t like it?”> Skill: “Well, first, you’re implying you can kill me.”

I forgot how arrogant and boastful you were.”“Not were, am,” you say quickly.“Regardless. There is nothing difficult about having you simply thrown out an airlock and letting the cold reaches of space suffocate you slowly. Not a Warrior’s death, no, and certainly not the painless way to die, but it is a very easy way to execute you.” She places her hands on her hips, squinting at you, her lips curling a little. “And you have no say in it.”“Well, very honorable of you.” You shake your head, scoffing. “Really. I’m glad that your girls here have a very trustworthy and honorable leader to guide them.”She blinks. “A-…” She stammers, then quickly clears her throat. “Are you challenging me?”“Do you want me to?” You smile a bit, chuckling a little. “I mean, I thought you Mandalorians were all about giving a fair fight, letting skill and strength decide who will rule.”The look on her face is simply incredulous. “You would dare challenge Warmaster Forn Vizsla to a test of skill. Is that what I am getting at?” You glance away, letting her figure it out. “You are.” She grabs your chin, and forces you to look at you. “Well let me tell you this, Mister Cykgil. I know how dangerous you can be, especially if such a test involves Starfighters.”“Afraid?” you ask.[1/2]
>>43743139I bet she want her basilisk back. So this means he will need to steal it from Rotta or she will want us to do something near impossible. So yes i think she will yes.
>>43743174[2/2]“No.” She brushes her hand away. “But I am aroused by the prospect of deconstructing your mythic immortality, Mister Cykgil. I will choose the field of battle. If you win, you may go free, and we will forgive you of your crimes. But we will not forget them. But if I win, well…” She smirks a little. “I won’t kill you.”Your smile drops. “What?”“I know your type.” She rubs her hands together. “You are the kind of man who would prefer death to having their pride and reputation tarnished. To be made… a slave.” She smirks, happily. “I hate slavers, Zygerrians especially. But perhaps I can make an exception for you, Mister Cykgil.” Her fingers run along the length of her shock whip as she smirks. “We will meet in the hangar tonight. You may have a meal, get yourself rested, and have free movement aboard the Vode An. Any attempt at sabotage will be dealt with harshly and cancel our agreement.”“I didn’t agree-““I have agreed for you,” she responds. She moves back to her throne, and sits down upon it. “Unless you want me to make you my slave now?” You stare at her. “Good. You may leave.” The Furies behind you salute her, then escort you out of her throne room.“Can’t wait to see you become a slave, Rhys,” says one of them. Lima looks over and finds you walking towards her. “Ah! Rhys! You aren’t dead!” Yeah, clearly. Before you can say anything, you’re immediately knocked over by Lima’s pet massiff. “Ah! Poke, down! Heel!” Lima quickly runs over, picking up the young pup into her arms. “Oooh, Poke, what did I say about charging random people! You’re going to get hurt!”You stand up. “Lima, I need my droids.”“But I’m still cleaning them.” She points over to Lev. “R5 has a lot of things stuck in his central hull. And Lev well…”“Mistress. I require a polishing of my head, now,” he commands.“Quiet,” says R5. “You’re going to ruin it for all of us.”“I will ruin it for myself if it means ruining it for you, astromech.”“I swear, you’re making me regret refusing the master’s decision to put a blaster in me.”“What would you do with that, I happen to have something you don’t.” He clinches his fingers together. “It is called a hand. Is that too advanced for your systems.”“Now boys, don’t argue,” says Lima. Lima kneels down, continuing to scrub R5’s body with a rag. “So mean…” She ties Poke to a leash wrapped to her wrist. Poke sits down on his butt, happily wagging his tail and panting, his tongue out. “Now, you can have your droids in just a little bit, I am almost done.”[1/2]

I always wanted to ride a Vulture-droid!” She giggles happily, bouncing about. “Come on, come on, promise me!”“Can I just have R5 at least?”She sighs. “Fine. R5.” She pulls out a remote, then shuts off the restraining bolt on him. He rolls over to you, whirling his head around.“Great,” says R5. “You do know though that she left a very sizable grease stain on my bottom, I just hope you know that.”“By the way,” says Lima. “Uggla and Erma were searching your big ship, the Barloz.” They what?!> Over your dead body! Love the Clan Rodarch flair by the way with Poke, shame the Asharls are extinct.” She happily waves goodbye as the two of you leave the machine shop. Poke barks at you, happily wagging his tail at you and trying to chase you. He is stopped only by Lima’s tugging of his leash.“I still feel so dirty, sir. Why did we leave?” asks R5.“Did she access your records?” you ask.“No, sir. Is that the only reason you came for me?” he asks.“Well, no… okay, a little. But I do need you to fix the R-22. In case of uh… duel,” you say. He silently glances at you, then continues forward. Fine, he understands what’s happening.--You step up the loading ramp into the cargo bay of your Barloz. A few Furies were already lazing about, gossiping and chatting with each other. “Hey, get off those crates! Those are concussion missiles!” you yell. They look down, then immediately bail out and go talk somewhere else. You look to see your Vulture Droid, Sparks, happily and excitedly chitter. He bounces up and down, letting Uggla pet him happily. “Uggla! Don’t pet my Vulture, he’s dangerous!”“Awww, but he’s so cute!” Uggla hugs Sparks’ head unit, rubbing up against him and getting her face and her armor covered up in muck and grease. “Awwww! He’s so huggable!” She lets go and walks over to you. “I’m jealous, can I ride him!”“No! Where’s Erma?” you ask.“In your quarters.” Ugh. Uggla walks with you through the machine shop, thankfully not being looted or turned over by other girls, then into the forward half of the ship. You step into your Captain’s Quarters, to see Erma sit at your desk, kicking her legs up onto it.“Erma! Get your legs off my desk!” you state.[1/2]
>>43744338[2/2]“Why?” she asks you. “It’s not like your words have any meaning.”Uggla whistles. “She’s got a point.” You glare at Uggla a little, who shrugs innocently.“Listen, Erma,” you say. “I know that I hurt you very deeply. But everything in here is confidential, and mine.”“Oh. Like this?” Erma holds up your holopad. The same holopad that has all the details of your treasure hunt. And everything else about you. You motion for her to give it back. “Listen, I’m well aware that Warmaster Vizsla intends to duel you for the sake of your pride and hers, but until then we have free reign over your ship and everything in it. And I’d like to know what’s in here.”…“Uggla, give us a minute,” you hiss. She immediately shuts the door, leaving you and Erma alone. “Look, I’m sorry. But business is business.” She rolls her eyes, continuing to fiddle around with it. You can’t just wrestle it away from her, she’s a Mandalorian after all. A young one at that, she’ll only grow in skill as she gets older. “Give me back my holopad.”“Why? Do you have some big dark secret on here?” she asks. She narrows her eyes. “Now that I think about it. Alright, the bait is set.She walks over to you. “Stop right there.” She puts the holopad in your hands. Hook line and sinker. “You were so intent on getting this back and now you don’t want it?”“Why. You still want it?” you ask, offering it back to her.“No!” She slaps it away from her. Good, good. She crosses her arms. “Ugh, whatever. But you know, Rhys. You really going to keep that to yourself?”You smirk a little. “And to the right person. Could be you one day.” She slaps you on the cheek.“Enough flirting.” She opens the door and storms out past a confused Uggla. You stuff the holopad back into your jacket, shaking your head.[1/2]
>>43744831Rhys has at least two copies of the treasure data: on that holopad, and in R5. It's ALWAYS smart to maintain a separate backup. The problem is that the Mandalorians were allowed to ransack the ship and located the holopad. They just haven't unlocked it yet.

Her eyewrappings remained however. “That was great! Haven’t had a bath like that ever! I might need your help for a little bit.” She nods, giving you her full attention. “I’ve got a duel coming up. If I win, I go free, you all leave with me, simple. But if I lose, they’ll take me as a slave.”“Yikes.” Misri pulls on her big work gloves then her welding goggles as well. “So, what do you want me to do then? It’s not like they let blind people like me fight in duels.”“No, no, I just need you to help R5 fix up my R-22,” you say. She nods, fair enough. “And once you’re done, you can back to fixing up the Vulture, and-“ Your communicator beeps. “What is it, R5?”“The repairs are done as requested,” he says. Oh. Misri looks at you, a little disappointed at the lack of work. “Shall I retire?”“Yeah, do so,” you say. “Okay, guess I don’t need you for that then uh…”Misri places her hands on her hips, giving you a very coy look. “Look, I don’t claim to know you. It’s how they’ve found me even after nearly a year,” you say. “Here’s what we do though, we try and plan. If she wants a Starfighter duel, we try to fix what we can on the R-22. If she wants a straight one on one duel well…” You sigh. You actually hadn’t prepared for the possibility of her actually wanting to fight you man to girl-who-thinks-she’s-a-woman.“Right, right, I see.” Misri scratches her chin, thinking on it. “Well, we don’t have parts or anything to really upgrade the R-22 er… physically. But I could probably do something with the targeting computer.”You cross your arms. “I’ve never needed to use that thing.” She tilts her head. “What, I just… never needed it. Why are you looking at me like that?”“You’re telling me you go into Starfighter combat, and you don’t use the targeting computer?”“Well, I let the cannons lock onto stuff, but the advanced stuff? Never used that even in the Academy. I mostly just relied on my gut feeling then.” You smirk a bit. “Hasn’t failed me yet.”“Well, it just might.” She pokes your belly. “And tell your gut feeling that it’s not all powerful.”Uggla comes into the room, having left the conversation a while ago. “Hey, Misri. Can I ride the Vulture-droid?” Misri shakes her head, sternly.Misri goes back to you. “You know, when I joined up with you. I thought I’d get to be going on some grand adventure. Find my way out of the Coruscant undercity and get to see the galaxy. Well, not physically see it because…” She points at her non-functional eyes beneath the wrappings and the welding goggles. “… ya know. But, you know, you’re really shattering a lot of my fantasies right now, Rhys.”You smirk, leaning in closer to her. “Well, there’s always one fantasy I can make reality.”[1/2]
>>43746031[2/2]She glances away, curling her lips. “Yeah, I don’t need that one shattered either,” she says simply. “I’ll have a look at your R-22, see what I can do.” She starts walking away, a little sashay to her hips as she walks out of the machine shops.Hmph.--You sit on the R-22, hand on the holster for your DC-17 pistol. A lot of girls from all over the ship were gathering around. The duel was set to commence very soon. Already you got a meal put in you and Misri. Lev and R5 as well came around to oversee the modifications. “Alright…” Misri pops up out of the cockpit. “I did some work and installed a little sensor jammer.”“Oh?” You look back. “Awesome.”“But.” She holds up a finger, unzipping her jumpsuit top and wrapping it around her waist again. “It only works for one minute pulses, after that there’s a pretty extensive cooldown. I don’t know how long, you’ll have to figure that one out.”Lev asks her, “How were you able to build a sensor jammer with only spare parts?”“It was a miracle I could build one at all,” she mutters. The four of you however turn to see Warmaster Vizsla walking up to you. She’s backed up by her honor guard, Erma, Uggla, and Lima. Lima holds her pet massiff by the leash. “Heads up.”You jump off your R-22 and walk up to her. “Warmaster. You ready?”She grins. “As I’ll ever be.” She slips her helmet on.“Right, I’ll get my R-22 started,” you say. She grabs your sleeve before you can leave.“What makes you think I’m choosing to fight on your turf?” Uh oh. “This is between you and me. No fighters, just us and our weapons.” You look her up and down, and not because she has a great rack and a great pair of legs either. Jetpack, jetpack mounted missile, wrist-mounted blaster, flamethrower, shockwhip, WESTAR-35 blaster pistol. I mean… a pilot’s weapon is his ship.” She snaps her fingers, and immediately gun turrets all over the hangar spring out and aim right at the R-22, with Misri, Lev, and R5 still on and around it. “… okay. I see your point. We’ll do it your way.”She crosses her arms. “Smart.” She motions you to follow her. To your relief, the gun turrets fold back into the hangar walls and ceilings. “We’ll fight in the training room.” You nod, hooking your thumbs onto your belt. DL-44 on your left, DC-17 on your right. The BX droid vibrosword is hooked onto your back as well. “There will be plenty of room for us in there, and of course less potential for collateral damage.”--The Furies invested into modifying their mess hall into a sort of gladiatorial ring. It reminded you a bit of the dueling ring back on Taris. Historic little thing, still in use in fact. But with the rise of the Empire, you can kiss goodbye to deathmatches in it ever happening. Though they do back it up with droid brawling every now and again. Here though, this served as the training grounds for new women aboard the Vode An, training to be Furies. All the weightlifting equipment, all the treadmills, and the anti-grav equipment was removed for more room for you to fight. There were only four columns twice your height, spaced out around the arena to serve as cover. Girls all crowded around the top of the walls, protected by a deflector shield and the energy suppressor field.[1/2]
>>43746778[2/2]“Right,” says Warmaster Vizsla. You look up to see Misri, Lev, and R5 looking down on you. “The suppressor field will keep you from dying. It won’t keep you from suffering. This is my turf and my rules. Apparently sensing your intent, she dodges out of the way with a burst of agility from her jetpack. You fire up at her, your DC-17 with the accuracy and your DL-44 with the power. You wish you could’ve brought your disruptor down here, if only the energy suppression fields allowed it. She continues to duck and weave away from your shots as you step into cover. Patiently, she pulls out her own blasters and start plinking away at your position.“Come on, get him!” yells Erma to the Warmaster. Thanks, Erma.“You can do it, Rhys!” shouts Misri. Lev and R5 simply wait. Glad to know your droids are backing you up.You look up, and see her looking down on you. You dive out of the way from a barrage of blaster bolts then. With a dashing summersault you barrel right into another piece of cover. Right, this isn’t fair one bit. She has a jetpack and more weapons than you do.But in all honesty, you probably wouldn’t have played fair if this were a Starfighter dogfight. Kudos to her for being smart you suppose. She drops down, pulling a pistol back into her holster and instead drawing her shockwhip. It flashes yellow as it bursts into action. Yeah, you do not want to get hit with that. She fires a shot, which knocks out some of the concrete forming your cover. And as reflex, she whips the cover, shattering more of it apart. Okay, this isn’t going to last. You jump out and quickly fire away. You’re not aiming to hit her, you’re aiming to get her into cover so you can get some place safe. But as luck would have it, you caught her by surprise. You catch her shoulder. “Agh!” She remains standing, but you’ve silenced the crowd of Furies above you. She looks up, surprised, then back at you. You continue blasting away, strafing to the third piece of cover today. She jetpack boosts to the side, then leans over forward, pointing her missile at you. Uh oh.[1/2]
>>43747381[2/2]You dive for the ground. The missile flies over and explodes off the wall, harmlessly. You try getting up quickly. But out of the corner of your eye, she’s closed the distance. She whacks you in the face with her pistol, sending you on your back. She cocks her whip arm back. But with a kick to her shin, you floor her. You roll over and push yourself up, bringing your blasters up. She rushes at you, jetpack speeding her arrival. And the air is pushed right out of you as you get tackled right into the wall. Your vision gets doubled and blurry, your insides… well you can’t really feel them but afterwards you will. She looks you dead in the eye through her visor. “You got skill. If you were a girl, I’d make you one of mine.”Out of desperation, you give her a headbutt. Sure, it sends her back, stunned. But it also further clouds your vision and probably just gave you a bit of brain damage. Still, desperate times call for desperate measures. She discards her spent up blaster pistol and raises her wrist-mounted flamethrower. With a beastly roar, flames get spouted at you. Only short use though, and you manage to hurry right away from her. She comes closer and closer to your column, ready to blast you out with a whip of her shockwhip. You crouch down, and slowly peek out one corner off of her side. You can get a shot off. You fire. She squeaks as she’s shot in the thigh. “Ah! You little-“ She jumps up into the air and flies right over you. You quickly bring your blasters up. But then you hear the distinct bang noise of a grappling hook being fired. And before you can react, your hands are tied together by a cable. She speeds off, dragging you along the ground. You roll to the left, hooking the cable around. You roll to a crouch, then tug.She yells as she flies right into the ground. Her jetpack snaps right off her book and goes flying into the overhead deflector shield, then falls uselessly to the ground. A groan escapes her as she tries to recover from the impact. You meanwhile still have your hands tied literally with this cable. You hurry to get it unraveled, but find that she’s already on her feet and rushing at you with her shockwhip. She whirls it around and cracks it against your chest. The jolt of electricity, combined with just getting hit by a whip, is like getting flogged back at the Academy. She cocks her arm back again for another slash. You suddenly realize she’s still connected to you by the cable. You quickly tug again, and this time pull her forward and onto her face.[1/2]
>>43747928[2/2]She disconnects the cable from her wrist, but finds you running at her. Before she can react, you tackle her into a column. “Agh! You little…”“Get him, Warmaster!” yells Erma desperately. She tries to headbutt you this time, but you grab her helmet and throw it off. You punch her square on the jaw and floor her. You may not be as great a fighter or have her equipment, but you do have raw strength on your side. She crawls forward, rolling onto her back and looking up at you with the most furious eyes you have ever seen.“You got her, Rhys!” cheers Misri. “Finish her off.”You call on the last of your energy reserves in your blasters, hoping to put one in her chest and end it. But you forgot that her wrist also comes with a blaster. She fires a bolt right into your chest, blasting you backwards. Misri is silenced by the suddenness of it. She stands up, stumbling over to you. “Nice try,” Vizsla mutters. “But not good enough.”You hold your chest, groaning as you drag yourself back. She aims her blaster squarely at your back. “Come on.” She kicks you in the chest. “Giving up now!? I thought you’re the mighty Rhys Cykgil. You are nothing more than a slave to the Empire. Guess you’ll adjust well serving me.”You grab some concrete dust off the ground, hissing in pain. That blaster shot hurts, even with the suppression field. “Ha!” yells Vizsla. “See girls!” yells Vizsla to her Furies. “Look at him beg for mercy!” She turns to face you. >>43748516[2/3]“Well, I just figure, since I won. I could leave.” You smirk a bit, crossing your arms. “Unless me winning means I get your ship and your crew entirely. What’s the saying? Only the strongest shall rule?”“We made the deal. You win, you get to leave unmolested and we leave you alone.” She looks you up and down, still grasping you by the whip. “I don’t know what is with you and this arrogance of yours that you display, but it must have rubbed off on me during that match. I had you dead to rights, and yet I faltered. And for that, you beat me.”You smile. “Takes a big girl to admit her mistakes.”She blushes a little, glancing away. “Regardless. Your reputation with the Daughters of Mandalore, the Furies, is now clear. We will not forget what you did, but we will forgive it. As promised.” She looks back at Erma, who simply glares at you. “And if you are much more receptive to working with us instead of the Empire… we may have more for you than they can offer.”You look up and down Vizsla’s body, then look over at Erma as well. “… I can already see that,” you mutter. She unravels the whip, then gently pushes you away. “Go.” You nod, then turn around and walk back to a waiting Misri. Suddenly, you’re wrapped up in the whip again. You’re dragged back to Warmaster Vizsla. “By the way. I AM old enough for you, Mister Cykgil.” She unravels her whip again, then kicks you back to your ship much harder this time. “Now get out of here. If you cross us again, rest assured you will not live to do it a third time.”You smirk, shaking your head. You look back at Erma. She drags her finger across her neck as she stares at you, obviously signaling her intent. But as for Uggla and Lima, they wave goodbye at you. Lima in particular holds up her pet massiff Poke, and gently wiggles his paw so it looks like he’s waving too. Cute.
>>43748537[3/3]As the boarding ramp closes up behind you, Misri is waiting for you. “What is it with you and women?”“Hey, Mandalorian women like men of danger,” you say simply. It’s true. It’s how you met Erma after all.Lev walks up to you. “Sir. We are ready for your next destination.”> Cadma Prime, back to the Centrality.> Smuggler’s Haven, to meet with Vikker and Kuvasz.> Other
>>43748555>Smuggler’s Haven, to meet with Vikker and Kuvasz. We should get them so that we can get at the last Clone trooper with a group, and then go to the treasure.

>>43748555>> OtherRandom jump point. We are going to scout this ship inside and out looking for anything that they planted.
>>43748555>Wait let Uggla ride the Vulture droid before we go. > Smuggler’s Haven, to meet with Vikker and Kuvasz.

>>43748581>> OtherI vote for this. With Kuvasz and Vikker there it will still be some time before we need to find the trooper. And if someone if after the rest of the data he will need to come after us anyway. We only need one more piece and they most likely found the main one. Upgrading Sparks and the rest of the ship comes in first for me.
>>43748555Changing my vote from this.>>43748638 to>>43748581
>>43748603Oh yeah this too. Because i'm 100% certain we are bugged.
>>43748555>Smuggler’s Haven, to meet with Vikker and Kuvasz.let's get the hell out of here
>>43748555>Smuggler’s Haven, to meet with Vikker and Kuvasz.>>43748581We already bit into the lion's share of our funds with that last tune-up on Manaan, and we've yet to get our payout from dealing with Fili's Busters. The upgrades can wait.
>>43748555>>43748603>>43748581This.I want to get parts for the Vulture droid.
>>43748700and we made it back by destroying Fili's Busters. an we did, Lev calculates how much we make and it gets automatically transferred into our account.
>>43748708Misri said the Mandalorians already helped with the lion's share of the repairs for the Vulture, and any other parts and work she needs she'll deal with out-of-pocket and on her own time.
>>43748745Where did she say that?Besides we need to improve and customize our freighter.
>>43748776She said it while we were loading the droid onto the ship; she'll handle all the repairs herself and won't cut directly into Rhys's funds. She has her own means to scavenge parts.
>Suddenly, you’re wrapped up in the whip again. You’re dragged back to Warmaster Vizsla. “By the way. I AM old enough for you, Mister Cykgil.pic related.
>>43748796No i meant the part about repairing the vlture.and I also want to see if she can improve the freighter. Maybe find another semi-in tact starfighter for her too.
Star Wars Smuggler Quest: Cute Mandalorians doing Cute Things
>>43748796Okay valid the droid don't need a upgrade. But our ship still need it. She can't scavage parts in space anon. That's why in Rexus she can grab some parts in the junk and we get some free upgrades. Maybe even check out if we are being followed.
>>43748854The droid does need a upgrade though. We have a list of needs for it to work anyway.I kind of want a broken starfighter too.
> Smuggler’s Haven, to meet with Vikker and Kuvasz.> OtherYou sit down in the pilot’s seat, and let Lev take the navigator’s spot. “Plot a course at these coordinates,” you state. You state off a set of coordinates from memory. Rule #2 of Smuggler’s Haven, do not put the coordinates of its stops down anywhere physically. Memorize it well. Lev nods, tuning it into the hyperspace computer. “And if we pass by Raxus Prime or any junk during our travels, let us take a stop by see if we can harvest anything useful.”“Yes, sir.”Misri hangs out at the door to the cockpit. “Where are we going now, Rhys?”“Well, time permitting, we may stop by and poach some parts off of scavvers on Raxus,” you say. “But right now, we’re heading for Smuggler’s Haven.” She grins, happy to finally get to see the place with her own eyes. “We’re going to meet Vikker and Kuvasz there and hopefully we’ll grab the last bit of information we need before we move on the big score.”“Right. Well, if you need me.” She points her thumb back. “I’ll be in the shop.” You nod, and watch as she walks away with that swagger to her hips.Lev gains your attention again. “Sir. Calculations plotted,” he says.“Good, good.” You grab the stick and power up the hyperdrive. Your Barloz takes off out of the Vode An’s hangar bay, and out into deep space. “Punch it, Lev.” The stars bend and stretch as you blast off into hyperspace.

>>43748955Bye bye Schteel thank for running.
>>43748943We have space for more then a few actually, considering how big our cargo is.
>>43748955BTW German is the Vulture droid fully operational? Did they give us any parting gifts or parts for it?Also did any rankings change?
>>43749023Not your personal army
>>437490271. Partially. Misri had some time to restore functionality to the blaster cannons which means they can now fire without risk of exploding. Thrusters and lift systems are also receiving some work too.2. Every Fury that boarded the ship, even Erma off screen, donated a piece of scrap or some paint for it to be restored. It's not much, but it's certainly a start. The only condition is that Sparks come back with the walker mode and let them ride her.3. You are now Neutral with the Furies.
>>43749075Maybe for the right price we would be.
>>43749077http://pastebin.com/2H8PSrxnIs everything in order on this?
>>43749077question Schteel can we upgrade our R5 ? think is time for the little guy have at least a teaser to defend himself
>>437491241. Misri not Mirsi.>>43749128R5 can be modified as you see fit.> Pic related.
>>43749128http://pastebin.com/YD0QA62fSorry, I thought i fixed that.
>>43749197Keep dropping my trip, sorry.
>>43749162So how many ships can we house in our Freighter.
>>43749208Looking at the layout of the Barloz, you could in theory fit six A-Wings into the back. it all depends on which starfighters you acquire though.
>>43749250>six A-wingsAs fun as that sounds, I think we should consider going for Y-Wings. Workhorse fighter, powerful shields and heavy armor, lots of utility. Maybe two or a B-Wing if we can find one.
>>43749250Only 6? Huh, I thought we could fit in more. Well I guess you are right about waiting to see what Starfighters we scavenge.Besides gifts for the vulture droid, did the Furies leave anything for the rest of our crew or us?
>>43749250And how much other crap we put in the hold I imagine, though its spacious enough that shouldn't be a common issue. How well outfitted is our shop by the way, does Misri have everything she needs to make mods/repairs? Any fabrication capability? Is that something we could buy in the future? And can we have a vote on ship name at some point next thread. Whiskey Richard was my favorite, and seems more appropriate now that Whiskey is kill.
>>43749296Their also kind of bulky though. not sure if want
>>43749296Y-Wings are huge, though.
>>43749337I kinda agree imo we're all about the quick.
So is Rhys confirmed for latently force sensitive?
>>43749300Well, Rhys did get quite a few love letters from some starstruck Furies, as did Misri too, and one for Lev for whatever reason. Erma especially probably left some gifts that Rhys bought for her on Rhys' bedside while he was packing up to leave. Along with a letter stating that she's hoping he'll return and make things up to her.>>43749327The Machine Shop in the Barloz was actually surprisingly well-equipped from Day One, you just never really had a use for it. Misri can more or less do what she needs without the need to upgrade it.>>43749296B-WINGS
>>43749362For now, it's just gut feeling. Though Darth Vader's planned visit to the Academy wasn't just to show off to the cadets.
>>43749361If anything we can install heavier armament on our freighter.
>>43749365I'm surprised the furies didn't try to take R5 again.
>>43749389I was thinking something on the line of reinforcing the defenses of the freighter in some way, making it more of a static hq/repair base for long fights and having our fighters do the heavy shooting. Maybe it's retarded but Iunno.
>>43749384Goddammit, is Darth doing that whole "training an apprentice behind Sheev's back" thing right now? Or is he just recruiting Inquisitors?
>>43749421WHile we have plenty of space for now, things like Y or B wings might be over doing it unless we get a bigger ship i think.I think at best, we might get interceptors or regular all round fighters like the X-wing.
>>43749437Inquisitors. Rhys is good, but he's not good enough to be a Sith Apprentice.
>>43749384so how much of a bullet did we dodge there?
>>43749452Yeah, that's sensible.
>>43749389Which is why it was suggested to head toward a junk planet. We could pull off some heavier armor off a junked Republic cruiser, a military-grade patrol craft shield generator with a power supply and engine to go along with, and some heavier laser cannon turrets to bolt onto our freighter, and maybe a jerry rig a proton torpedo tube.
>>43749468Well you were expelled a couple of days before Vader arrived, so a bit of a bullet. Lotte at least comforted you with the fact that to no one's surprise Vader vaped everybody.
>>43749495I wonder if we look any different to Misri...
>>43749454Maybe not right now.But with training...
>>43749495Vaped? Who and why?
>>43749515Misri told you at some point that to her, everybody in her vision sort of glows. She's relatively unaware of the significance of her unique ability however.>>43749541Vaped in the simulators. Russ Qel-Dorn in particular was vaped a record twenty times in the simulations against Vader. Lotte at least was only vaped once, but that's only because she realized she wasn't going to win against Vader.Though, once Vader found out you were long gone, he had a stern talking with Hrakert and the Flight Instructor that expelled you on the spot, which resulted in Hrakert's early retirement and the Flight Instructor's mysterious death falling out of the Flight School's main hangar into space.
>>43749570>Rhys indirectly ended a man's career and killed another man because he talked shit about TIEs
>>43749614Hey, not the worst thing he's done.
>>43749626Let me guess Vader either knew we had talent as a pilot and was pissed to lose us over us actually thinking, or figured we were sensitive to the force and was even more pissed over their stupidity?
>>43749570So does Vader share the same sentiment as we do regarding the TIE fighter. Also does that mean that the rebels have a tech advantage in terms of star fighters since they still only use the regular tie fighters while the main rebel force uses x a and b wings?
>>43749626What is the worse thing he had done?
>>43749644X-Wings are ultimately more well-rounded than TIEs, so the Rebels have always had a minor leg-up.
>>43749570Glad those retarded TIEaboos got fucked. Vader a bro.
>>43749642Think of it like this. If Rhys wasn't Force Sensitive, then Vader got screwed out of a potential TIE Fighter Ace for his personal squadron aboard the upcoming Death Star. If he was, he got screwed out of an Inquisitor to hunt down the remaining Jedi. Both would monumentally piss him off.>>43749644Well, Vader's personal TIE Fighter does have shielding and a hyperdrive along with missile launchers so, probably. And yes, it does mean the Rebels have a tech advantage. A significant one. One that will allow me to break canon a little to introduce the Oppressor, Interceptor, Avenger as prototypes and perhaps even the Defender in the future.>>43749691Vader likes guys who think. It's why he let that one guy in ANH shittalk his decision to attack the Tantive IV or let Tarkin boss him around.>>43749654He'd rather not talk about it but it does have to do with his hatred of Clones, apart from the fact that one was a bit of a dick to him in Flight School.
>>43749682Yeah but in Rebels they hadn't been developed yet.All they have are A-wings,
>>43749642I bet Vader was gonna try to induct us into that shady Force-sensitive ace group like the ace in the Tie fighter video game.
>>43749731so what does the empire have to say to us becoming a private contractor for them? Also if the rebels didn't want us to join the empire why did they never a recruiter after Rhys?
>>43749731I thought they will introduce the intercepter anyway? Along with the bomber? I thought that was always a thing?
>>43749807The rebels is probably because they didnt have intel on him or they did and did not trust his imperial background. I dont think the rebels are retarded enough to not exchange money for an ace pilot.
>>43749807The Empire generally doesn't like to mention hiring private contractors like privateers or bounty hunters in the first place. They'll take care of you like a Dad that loves you but isn't proud of you.As for the Rebels not sending a recruiter after Rhys, they did. Rhys turned him down for various reasons, mostly because Rhys isn't a big fan of restoring the Republic, and at the time he certainly didn't want to find himself having to shoot up his fellow flight cadets like Lotte.>>43749809The Interceptor is still undergoing testing trials and almost ready for mass production. The Bomber is already standard issue.
>>43749731>TarkinRead the book about him. That guy was a badass. All his family members were. The living ones i mean.
>>43749857Why isn't he interested in restoring the Republic? So if the intercepter is about to be ready then shouldn't they be caught up already? Also How serious do the empire consider the rebels a threat?
>>43749857>They'll take care of you like a Dad that loves you but isn't proud of you.So just like all of TG's real dads?
>>43749900Because the republic was fucking corrupted? Be honest Sheev's end up doing the galaxy a favor putting all the scum under his wings it's easier to eliminate then. And even after it the rebels are still doing a poor job.
>>43749857Is the bomber too big for our little ship? Because i will tell you a bomber would be pretty cool on my book.
>>437499001. Rhys was a kid during the Clone Wars. It was tough times and he mostly only remembers the Republic as a horrific influence.2. Just because they have a new fighter about to be ready doesn't mean they're fully caught up. The Interceptor STILL doesn't have shields, life support, or any secondary weapon systems. It's faster though and possesses a lot more laser firepower.3. This is around the time of ANH, just two years BBY, so they are still a serious threat with the Rebels continuously gaining more and more support in the Imperial senate.
>>43749952I need to find precise figures on the height, but lengthwise it'll at least fit.
>>43749967http://deckplans.00sf.com/CEC/Barloz/Barloz.htmlI got something along those lines. Still want to convert the cargo bay into a minor carrier.
>>43750008Could probably fit then.
>>43749967Length = 7.8 meters
>>43749952>http://deckplans.00sf.com/CEC/Barloz/Barloz.htmlTrue but I rather get a Y-bomber then that thing, it's a little bulkier but more survivable then the TIE-bomber
>>43750100Whatever the hive-mind of anons decide for me is fine.
>>43750008Considering how few fighters are stored in a ImpStar Deuce you could probably make some very effective dedicated carriers out of significantly smaller craft.
>>43750137Probably depends on what we run across, price and condition wise. In any case schteel has given us some cool and balanced toys so far, and taken anon input well, so I'm sure it will be good. If we do get a tie bomber though (not my fist choice for reasons) we are painting it some badass colours/designs. Grey is boring and too easy to confuse for some other scrub. Another comment, while a bomber or other type of craft is cool whatever craft we look at i hope there's an obscure option, not just ties and insert letter wings. Anyways awesome thread. Oh and after getting shot so much Rhys should get some armor. I'm sure the thoughts crossed his mind before but hopefully that laser bolt was the last bit of motivation to see it through hahaha! Oh and retracting boot knife, because there's kicking a person where it hurts and then there's Oh God how could you do that to another human being.
>>43750242Thing is we have to also expand the crew, at most we can launch 6 pilots (or less if we launch a heavy fighter or bomber) while the droids pilot the freighter.
we still have those two speeder bikes right? wonder how much it would cost to upgrade those.
>>43750308What if we took one apart and gave the other bike double engines?
>>43750308Misri's is already pretty awesome, and she could probably give the other one a tune-up and performance boost. Not sure we'd want to upgrade that clone wars relic if we don't use it much/replace it later. Also Misri's sidecar can only take three kg of cargo so our ass is too fat (just pulling your chain pastebin anon, you're doing a fine job).
>>43750283I don't think we should fill our hold completely up with fighters. A speeder or APC for ground work would be a good idea, and the more we have out, the harder it is to get them back in if there's a rush. But we should absolutely get something massively overpowered on the freighter. And because I'm a fag I'm going to suggest someone like a single cannon from a ISD Ion Cannon battery as a spinal gun.
>>43750352Depends on how many hard part we have on the Freighter.
>>43750349we could always put guns on the relic since it was originally a war machine anyways. We might not be able to make it the fastest thing around but we could make it mean
>>43750392I will MAKE it fit!
>>43748822As a glasses-wearer this gif triggers me every time.
>>43749437That scene is intriguing, because she's started going dark side there and thinks that somehow makes her able to take on someone who has gotten to the point of being one of the best duelists in Jedi history.
What was the colour scheme for our R22?
>>43750722> The R-22 is painted a very deep red, with white and black highlightsSomething like pic related.
>>43750352I'd rather convert those two escape pods into a chaff shooter and a torpedo bay. The ship probably doesn't have the necessary energy generation to fire anything extreme in any reasonable rate of fire. Torpedoes and anti-anti-missile chaff on the other hand are practically energy free and carry as much firepower even if the ammunition is limited.
>>43750722This, become anyone who sees it can't destroy something so kawaii.
