PREVIOUSLY: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?searchall=Star+Wars%3A+Fortune+HunterA blaster bolt flies past you. You could feel the heat searing your arm as you and Misri dive for cover. The screaming and stampeding starts as all the partygoers start running for the exits. Understandable, it’s not every day people get thrown into a firefight with BX Commando droids. You quickly grab a shocked and confused Misri and throw the two of you behind an overturned refreshments table. The disguised Commando droids jump to the sides, immediately intending to flank you.“My museum!” yells Rotta. “Activate Ray Shields!” Ray shields immediately cast right over the valuable and ancient art pieces, from the murals, to the Basilisk, to the sculptures… except for the modern art pieces. You guess Rotta only invests in shields on things he’s afraid to lose. “Droids!” he screams as he slithers into cover behind a ray shielded artifact. Droidekas immediately pop out of the walls, rolling in. That would intimidate any robber or rebel. But these are Commando droids. And methodically, they immediately spin around and pop the Droidekas as they roll in, before they even get a chance to get the shields out. “Ah! I knew I should’ve invested in gun turrets!”“Rotta!” you yell. A quick poke of your head above the table and you’re immediately assailed by suppressive fire. Lesser B2s and B1s drop their waiter and greeter acts and pull out their own blasters. “I need a blaster!” The Commandos are only distracted for a few seconds by the wild and inaccurate shots of the old battle droids. Heads go flying and others get split completely in half under the accurate fire of the Commandos.Rotta nods, pointing to you. “Stay right there! I’ll be right back!” A few partygoers trip and fall over his tail as he slithers away to his office. Ugh, this is going to take a while.“What’s going on!?” shouts Misri. “Why are they shooting at us!?”[1/2]
>>43625754[2/2]“They’re not shooting at you, they’re shooting at me,” you correct. “And as for-“ A bolt explodes right off the table. A huge chunk of cover is now gone. “Okay, we need to keep moving, get behind that statue, go!” She nods, immediately running like she isn’t blind and diving behind the statue of a sitting Sith Soldier. As you predicted, they didn’t shoot at her, they have no reason to.But the minute you pop out of cover, you’re almost given some new breathing holes. You dive back behind the table. “On your right!” yells Misri. You quickly rise up to a crouch, and find a Stormtrooper Droid pointing his blaster down at you. Oh boy.The next second can be described as a lot of things. You dodge his point blank blaster shot. You jump up and drop kick him backwards. He cartwheels backward into a standing position again, and this time rather smartly decides to blast you from a distance. You grab a plate and quickly pitch it to him. It bursts into a million pieces off of his helmet, throwing him over a small artwork piece and buying you some valuable time.“Rhys!” yells Rotta from across the museum. He holds… a Disrupter Rifle!? He quickly hands it off to one of last B1 escorts. The B1 throws it to you across the room, and right into your arms. A DXR-6 Disruptor! These things are illegal basically everywhere! “I am heading to my safe room! If real cops find you with that, you didn’t get it from me!” he screams as he squirms back into his office.Oh, great.> Run and gun to the exit, you’re not getting caught up in a fight with Commando droids.> Well, you’re not going to get many opportunities with a Disruptor rifle. >>43626001What did they do to Modernize Lev for imperial use?
>>43625771>Run and gun to the exit, you’re not getting caught up in a fight with Commando droids.
>>43626156Mostly adjustments to the IFF and allegiance. Stormtroopers and anything in use by the Empire are recognized as friendly. Mismanaged Tactical Droids and Separatist holdout droids still in use have problems with Stormtroopers especially.Other than that, Lev and others of his kind received significant upgrades to their learning and tactical combat software, allowing them to process information even more faster than what was available during the Clone Wars. As a result, modernized T-Series and Super Tactical Droids can effectively replace Imperial Officers during times of crisis. They still struggle with adapting to unorthodox situations however. They're also packed with explosives, in case Rebels attempt to hijack one for personal use.
>>43626291>more fasterIt's just "faster." That said, I figured upgrading Lev was just a bunch of retrofitting. The explosions part, I was not aware it.

> Run and gun to the exit, you’re not getting caught up in a fight with Commando droids. You charge up the Disruptor, and stand up. Take a shot then run! You squeeze the trigger. A bright red and yellow beam bursts right out of it. The unfortunately droid on the other end of it is flash-fried by the intense heat. All that’s left is the Stormtrooper armor which collapses into a pile and ashes of the former Commando droid. “Whoa, nice shot!” Misri grins, watching you run at her. “Oh, are we leaving?”“Yes!” You grab her wrist and start pulling her out of the fray. The remaining two Commandos jump out from their cover and take high positions along columns or art work. They continue pelting you with blaster bolts, some getting dangerously close. Thank goodness their targeting software hasn’t been upgraded. But just as you think that. “Agh!” You tumble over, grabbing your arm. One bolt finds as its mark on your arm. You almost drop your Disruptor. Misri pulls you up, then wraps your good arm around her and starts helping you out of the door. “Damn it!” It doesn’t feel lethal, but you can definitely feel some blood leaking out. The two of you step out into the glowing night of Coruscant. Imperial Police Gunships are already on scene, casting searchlights upon the area. Imperial Police are roped into the area, immediately storming the museum with shock staffs and riot shields. They seem to not notice that you’re carrying a disruptor.“We should be safe!” says Misri.[1/2]
>>43626518[2/2]The door explodes, blasting Police out of the way. The Commandos have now completely eschewed their disguises. “Look, sir! Droids!” yells a Cop. “Fire!” They fire their stun weapons, which does bugger all against the inorganic. The pair immediately set to work fighting their way through the cops just to get to you. Necks are snapped, bodies are flung, officers are shot and left to die.“I just had to open my big mouth,” mutters Misri as she hurriedly drags you to her Swoopbike. >>43627015How can i improve it?
> “My ship up at port.”“Head up to the port, I’m getting the hell outta here!” You look back to see the Commandos closing in on you. Misri kickstarts it, then puts the pedal to the metal. You’re immediately flying out of the area of the museum, right past the Police Gunships. Wind on your face and your wounded arm, you look back again. The Commandos stop their pursuit, looking up at you. They then realize more police officers are coming for them, and immediately leg it out of there.“Why do those guys want you dead!?” yells Misri over the air noise.“It’s a long story!” you respond. “Sorry about our night though!”“Eh, it could’ve been better,” she says.--The two B1 guards outside of your ship converse with each other. “Why do we always get stuck with the bum jobs?”“Because the cool droids get all the upgrades. All we do is guard things and look threatening,” says the other one. “We look threatening right?”“No.” They look up at you descending down quickly from the hover lanes and down into the port. “Hey! You can’t park here! The white zone is only for freighters and cargo transport!” The two of you ignore the barking droids as you roll up into your zone.[1/2]
>>43627302[2/2]“Whoa…” Misri looks up at your ship from behind the wrappings around her eyes. “A Barloz freighter?” She looks back at you. “Nice, gramps. Didn’t think you had good taste like this.” The two of you step off of her back, and you quickly call for the boarding ramp to come down. She tilts her head, then leans in forward a bit. “Got a few blastmarks on it though and… what happened to the bottom?”“I scraped it,” you say quickly. The ramp comes down with Lev stepping down to meet. “Lev, are we ready to leave?” Your arm stings in pain, and you grab it and put some pressure on the bloody wound.“The hyperdrive is at 100% charge,” he reports. “I thought you would be staying longer, sir.”“Remains to be seen,” you say, walking to the ramp. “So long, Misri.” You hold up your hand, waving goodbye to her. Lev turns around, walking up with you.“Wait!” she yells. The two of you stop, then turn around. “Er- Um.” She quickly exhales. “… wow. Okay. I’m sorry, I don’t know why I yelled that. I just, this is a really nice ship. You know, the YT-series? They got a lot to owe to the Barloz. And your Tactical Droid too, he’s really awesome too!” Lev looks at you, confused. “And uh. Well-““You want to come with me, don’t you,” you say. Oh great. Well, Misri would be very good company, in a lot of ways. You look up and down her body. A lot of ways.“Well, since you suggested it.” She grins awkwardly, prodding her fingers together. “I mean, er, if you give me some time to get things sorted out back on the homefront and I can return this dress too.” She borrowed that dress? Actually, that explains where she got it. “It won’t take long, I promise you. We can even take the ship there, just give me like ten minutes?”> “Fine. Ten minutes.”> “Sorry, I’m a one man crew. I’m getting out of here.”> “We’d be better off leaving now.”> Other

> “Fine. Ten minutes.”You cross your arms. On the one hand, an engineer would be useful. One the other, it’d be another mouth to feed. You roll your eyes, then nudge your head in towards the craft. “Ten minutes.” She grins widely, more genuinely this time as she quickly runs her Swoop bike up the boarding ramp, nearly knocking the two of you down.Lev asks you, “You are allowing a new crewmember aboard?”“I might as well,” you say. “Gut feeling.”“Why trust gut feeling when you can trust your Tactical advisor capable of calculating probable odds to the billionth margin,” he says sarcastically in his droning monotone. You shake your head, stepping up and lifting the ramp.--Misri stands next to you as you pilot the Barloz down into the even deeper seedy and shady parts of the Lower Cities. This is the part of Coruscant where the sun doesn’t even shine anymore. Down here, you could find lots of unmentionable people for all kinds of work. You recall briefly wandering around Tatooine as a spice trader before calling it quits. It wasn’t boring, it’s just that spice tended to attract a lot of interesting people, none of which you really wanted to interact with. “Uh, Misri.” You squint a little. The coordinates she gave you appear to have led you down to the bottom of a building lit up by a pink billboard which advertises…Well, simply put, this looks like a brothel. “Are you sure this is right?” you ask.“Well, if you’re wondering, no, Madam Horch did not have me work the rooms,” she says. “She gave me a place to stay in exchange for fixing up her droids and computers and her speeder too.” She quickly pokes her fingers together, pressing her lips tight. “And about half of my race earnings…” You roll your eyes as you land the Barloz.[1/3]
>>43627908[2/3]“Alright, ten minutes.” She nods, quickly running out of the cockpit. That left you alone, with Lev and R5 probably playing Dejarik in the common room. You turned on your comms and quickly contacted Vikker. He appears on your dashboard. “Vikker.”“Rhys. I’m on Smuggler’s Haven right now, what’s wrong?” you ask.“We’ve been attacked. Kuvasz is missing, I just got ran out of Coruscant by some Commando Droids,” you state simply. “Somebody knows that we know. And they’re trying to kill us.”“Oh.” Vikker scratches at his tusks. “Well. That’s…” He shakes his head. “I’m beginning to regret this whole treasure business. Maybe we should lay low until the heat dies down. It’s not worth getting killed over, right?”“And let someone else take that stuff?” you say in disgust. “Never.” Vikker nods, humbled a little. “Listen, I think this’ll be the last time I contact you for now. They might be listening in our communications. Stay on Smuggler’s Haven, look for that Clone, don’t get mixed up with anything weird, alright?”“Righto.” He nods. You get another call. Ugh, what now!? “See ya.” Vikker disappears, and you quickly take the other call.“Rhys.” Oh. Lotte. She does not look happy. She places her hands on her hips, looking at you questionably. “I just saw you on the Holonet. Apparently some droids disguised as Stormtroopers tried to kill you and your…” She snaps her fingers, and a picture of Misri appears. She’s stuffing her face in the background as you walk through the crowd to the bathroom. Wow, word gets out fast, huh? “Miralukan friend?”“Miralukan?” you ask. Really? She’s on something. “She’s just blind.”[2/3]
>>43627921[3/3]“Really.” Lotte tilts her head. “Okay. I’ll buy that.” Oh, thank goodness. But judging by the expression on her face, she’s not buying it at all. “We can talk about that later. I’m just making sure my most favorite former TIE Pilot cadet in the whole wide world is doing okay after being attacked. That’s the cas-“ She blinks, then looks at your arm. “What the hell happened to your arm!?”You blink, then look at your arm. Oh, it’s still bleeding. Well, that’s the thing about adrenaline you guess. “Look. I’m fine.”“Stop saying you’re fine!” She stomps her foot, angered. “What is going on!? This is not part of the privateering you’re supposed to be doing!”> “It’s… a long story.”> “It’s just business.”> “Er, uh… you’re breaking up. Crk. Getting some solar winds.”> Other

And not privateer competition, just people who are smart enough to realize who I am and what kind of threat I am to their profits. My business, not Imperial stuff.”Lotte smirks a little. “Ugh, still full of it, I see. Just because you’re so smart doesn’t mean that everyone thinks you’re somehow the greatest thing since the Emperor.”“Hey, the TIE Pilot helmet never did fit me right. It was for people who had small brains,” you say with a smile.“No, it’s because you have a big head,” she responds. Fair enough. “I’ll keep in contact.” The call ends, and you quickly turn off the comms. Running in on three minutes left now for Misri. You stand up out of the pilot’s chair, then step into the common room to find Lev and R5 playing a game of Dejarik. Lev is closely examining R5’s maneuvers as he pushes a monster forward. Easy prey for Lev. But then suddenly, Lev finds himself in the classic kintan strider death gambit.A brief moment of quiet ensues, followed by Lev swiping the holopieces off the table and storming off into the hangar. “Hey, nobody likes a sore loser, Lev!” you call after him. You step through the common room as R5 begins picking up the pieces diligently and walk over to the boarding ramp.[1/2]
>>43628516[2/2]And there you find Misri pushing her Swoop bike up the ramp and into the machine shop. “Got everything?” you say. She nods, smiling happily. She’s changed out of the dress and now wears a simple mechanic’s jumpsuit and a tanktop with the jumpsuit top wrapped around her waist. Add to that some large work gloves on her hands, and she perfectly fits the look of a mechanic, save for the wrappings around her eyes. “You know, Misri. I’ve been meaning to ask you something, before we go.”“Oh?” She tilts her head, crossing her arms. “What is it?”“You’re a Miralukan, aren’t you?” She stares at you, then slowly tilts her head. “… you do know what Miralukans are, don’t you?”She shrugs. “No. What, am I like special or something?” She scratches her chin. “I mean, I still do sort of see things. I saw the R-22 in your hangar by the way.” She bites her lip. “Hope I get to fly that one day.”Okay, this is a little awkward.> “You know what, nevermind.”> “You really don’t know what Miralukans are?”> “Hey, I’m not trusting a blind girl to fly.”> Other

Wherever you wish to go, he will be there with you.” Great, getting drooled on by a Selkath, just what you wanted. Misri looks around, the big pair of welding goggles on her face basically announcing even more attention than just the wrappings.“I’m looking for a Mandalorian,” you say. “Goes by Kuvasz Skirata. Perhaps you may have seen him?”“Yez. He and his Wookiee compatriot Roark landed here some time ago,” says Szilard. “But they have not returned.” Alright, fair enough. “Their disappearance has already been noted to the Imperial embassy.”Alright. Always a good place for rumors while getting sloshed as well.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGy1BRO1WCsYou, Misri, and Szilard step into the DMZ, a cantina themed to Imperial military types. And immediately the moment you three are in, the music is playing over a very loud and angry confrontation between Imperial Army TIE Pilots and Imperial Navy Pilots. “Oi, ye groundhog! Only thing you’s good for’s making craters!” yells one of the Navy pilots. The two sides are busy trying to separate the two pilots. Obviously a bit drunk, that or probably from Lower Corulag. “C’mere, why don’t you’s show me a li’l bit of dat Army CQB!”“You sod off ya poncy little vac-head! How about ya get over here and I’ll show ya what a vacuum can do to yer tiny little frakkin’ head!” The two groups immediately separate, pulling the violent pilots out before things get handsy. You smile a little. This takes you back. You almost punched that smug little groundhog as you passed by. You, Misri, and Szilard sit down. Taking stock of it all, it’s filled to the brim with Imperial soldiers and pilots off duty, taking rest you suppose. You call for a bartender, and receive a very salty-looking Selkath in return. “Ale.” You motion to Misri. “Water.”“Hey, I-“ The Selkath drops a glass of water in front of Misri, then places a glass of ale in front of you in return. “Oh.”“Listen, you seen a Kuvasz Skirata, Mandalorian type?” you ask.[1/2]

>>43629696[2/2]The bartender shakes his head. “No. Sorry.” Damn. He leaves. Misri takes a drink of water, looking around.“Hey, little lady!” An Imperial Army TIE Pilot grabs Misri’s shoulder. He’s backed up by a few others, drinking to their hearts delight. “Might I say, ya look positively divine!” Misri leans away a bit, disgusted. “And I love those goggles of yers! Come on, lemme see those pretty little babies!” He reaches for the goggles, grinning.“Hey,” you say. “Leave the lady alone.”“Oi!” The Pilot walks up to you, sneering at you. “I’m a TIE Pilot ya feckless goon! > Intelligence: “No, you’re half of a TIE Pilot you groundhog.”“No, you’re half of a TIE Pilot, groundhog.” The Army TIE Pilots immediately march past a shocked Misri and get up into your face. Some of the Navy Pilots notice what you’re doing, then stand up and circle around you, backing you up. “I knew guys like you back in the Academy. Always talking hot stuff. And they always get vaped. You want to know why Army TIE Pilots exist, it’s so the Empire can put cruddy pilots in atmosphere and hope they crash into something and kill themselves!”“You-!“ The Pilot grabs your jacket, meaning to wrestle you to the ground. You grab his shoulders and immediately land a punch right on his jaw. He’s knocked backward into his gang. Being drunk though, he rebounds quickly and tries to run at you again. “Ya frakkin’ little-““Hey, hey!” A Navy Pilot quickly steps in between the two of you. “Cut it out, cut it out!” he screams. He’s strong enough to keep the two of you from fighting. Not to mention some of the Navy pilots are already holding you back too. Though everybody looks about ready to get into a brawl. “Come on, guys! We’re civilized pilots! Now get back to your drinks, or I’ll have the lot of you thrown into the drunk tank tonight!” After a tense minute or two, the pilots start dispersing, going back to their separate groups.“Ya got that one free, next time I see you, you’ll be eatin’ soft food out of a tube!” shouts the Army Pilot. His friends force him away back to their corner.“Aw, come on, Stele!” says a Navy pilot. “They’re groundhogs, you’re just going to let ‘em waltz?”Stele shoves the pilot back into his seat. “We’re all pilots. Now sit, and have fun. This is fun, damn it!” he yells. His fellow Navy pilots all shout agreements, raising their glasses as he goes back to sit down. You sit back down, chuckling a little as you take a sip. Misri stares at you. “Does that happen a lot?”[1/2]
>>43630116[2/2]“Yeah,” you say. She shakes her head, exasperated. Szilard comes out from under the bar, frightened a little, but he sits back down on his seat. “Anyway, looks like this is a dead end. Kuvasz certainly ain’t here.”“Why are we still here then?” asks Misri.“Because I like a good drink,” you mutter as you take another sip. You look around. Some of the Army Pilots give you very fierce but ineffectual glares, while some of the Navy pilots gossip admirably about you. Some of them even recognize you as “that guy who invented the Beam Defense Position.” Wasn’t really an invention per say.“Hey, Rhys Cykgil?” You look over, to see an Imperial Navy Officer with drink in hand and smirk on his face. “Bartender came to me, said you’re looking for somebody.” You nod, giving him a onceover. Seems genuine. He offers his hand. “Commander Merrill Garth, I command one of those Arquitens in orbit. I’ve heard a little bit about you.”“Have you?” you ask.“A few of the Instructors at the Academy mention you from time to time,” he says. Oh? “I hear you’re looking for somebody though, bartender told me. A Kuvasz Skirata?” You nod. “Maybe I can help you.”“There a catch?” you ask.He chuckles a little. “Always a catch with Imperial politics. But not me. Think you can handle that?”He smiles, offering his hand again. “Sure.” You shake it, smiling back at him. Alright, you can get behind this guy.--You, Misri, Szilard, and Commander Garth walk along the sunset lit avenues of Ahto City. Stormtroopers are patrolling all over the city, questioning tourists and Selkath, ripping open rooms and searching for him, no stone will go unturned. “As you can see, Mister Cykgil. We wil find your friend in due time,” he says. You nod. “Great.” You look over at him. “Uh, I don’t suppose you know a good parts dealer here right?”“Ahto City has a Shipyard for freighters by your hangar, you ought to ask them,” he says. “I myself have gotten my old ship fixed there many times. Mostly only routine stuff. This is a boring post here, Manaan. You don’t really expect much. I’m just glad to get the men loose with this search for your Mandalorian friend.”“So uh… what else do you Imperials do here?” asks Misri.“Besides the resort, there’s also the kolto processors. Kolto is a very cheap, not as effective as bacta but at least is very much available.” Commander Garth sighs a little, frustrated. “Would rather be protecting a medical facility, at least those have a chance of being attacked.” You can understand where Garth is coming from. It would be an incredibly wasteful thing to be at the same post where nothing happens for years.“Sir.” A pair of Stormtroopers walk up to you. “We found what appears to be a holopad, belonging to Kuvasz Skirata. It has recorded messages with Rhys Cykgil and the aqualish Vikker on it.” Finally, a breakthrough! “We found it in the Lower City, in the sewers. We suspect that Kuvasz may be somewhere in there.”[1/2]
>>43630723[2/2]“Very good. Accompany Mister Cykgil down there.” He looks to you. “You’ll find him yet. Stay strong.” You nod as all of you begin the walk to the Sewers. Commander Garth stays behind, folding his hands behind his back.--The five of you stand around the corpse of a Wookiee, apparently freshly dead. “It’s Roark,” you say sadly. Around him are the wreckage of two Commando droids. The sewers are a smelly, cramped, dark mess of tunnels that lead out into the ocean. Most of everything in here, waste of every kind, gets dumped out into the ocean. A little harmful to the environment, but it’s not like it’s hurting the Selkath or anything.“Any tracks?” asks one of the Stormtroopers. You shine your light across the platform that Roark is slumped upon. Another Stormtrooper follows it with a scanner, trying to find the distinct but faint ion profiles left behind by droids. His scanner starts whirring a bit.“I’m getting something,” says the other Stormtrooper. “It looks like they went in that direction.” He points down one of the sewer tunnels. You nod, motioning everyone to follow you.Misri grumbles a little. “Ugh, this is terrible.” You’re up to your ankles in dirty water filled with unmentionable contents.[2/3]
>>43630737[3/3]“Suck it up,” you say. “This is what I do every day.” She tilts her head again, in that rolling their eyes action of sorts. You roll your own eyes, typical. The Stormtrooper stops, adjusting the scanner. “Hang on. These things are a little unreliable.” He calibrates a little with a knob on the side of it. You all pause as he tries to get it working again. “There.” He steps forward, and the five of you enter what appears to be a hub for the sewers. Still very little light. You can feel water dripping onto your shoulder too.Szilard snorts, spitting a bit. “I have a bad feeling about this.” You shake your head, grimacing a bit. Then suddenly, a bolt rings out. One of the Stormtroopers falls. “Cover!” yells the other. All of you run about, finding some cover around the walls behind pipe outcroppings. “This is TK-662, we’re under attack here in the sew-“ He’s immediately sniped by another blaster shot. You look around, drawing your DC-17 and trying to squint your eyes. You need to adjust to the darkness. Misri crouches behind you, trying not to get into your way. Szilard is on the other side of the room, looking around fearfully.More Commandos.> Remain quiet and hide, wait for them to investigate.> Blast into the darkness, see if you can get any of them to reveal themselves.> Forget this, run!> Other

> Remain quiet and hide, wait for them to investigate. You motion for Misri to get down, and the two of you quickly lie down on the metal grating and get underneath the pipes as far as you can. Szilard meanwhile simply hugs the wall, obscured by some piping as well. After a few minutes, you hear the clanking of what sounds like two or three droids. You look back to Misri, who is hugging at your legs. She holds up three fingers. Three then. One of them reaches down to the Stormtrooper’s communicator. “This is TK-662. Situation normal, disregard.” Perfect mimic of the voice.“Where are they?” asks one of the Commando. “My scopes are suffering interference from all this trash in the area.”“We will have to manually seek them out,” says another. The three of separate. One of them steps towards you, a hand on a blaster, another on a vibrosword on his back. He’s almost on top of you… and…You blast his head off, alerting the other two. The droid slumps over backwards. The two remaining commandos leap into action, diving into cover. “There!” yells Misri, pointing to the right. You give off a quick three rounds rapid. One hits a pipe, the second hits the wall, but the third finds its mark between the droids optics. The third quickly leaps up into one of the overhanging sewers before you can snipe him as well.[1/2]
>>43631127[2/2]Damn it, he got away. You two look over to see Szilard, slowly crawling out of his hidey-hole. Whatever, you pick up a commando’s head and look over at Misri. “Thanks for your help.” She smiles, shoving her hands in her pockets. “Think we can get anything out of these droids.”“Oh, sure.” She takes the head from you, then slices open the casing with a multitool. “Holopad.” You hand it off to her, and she immediately rigs the pad to the droid’s central brain cluster.Szilard walks up to you. “What is zhe doing?”“Robolobotomy,” you say. The holopad activates, showing a complete map of the sewers underneath Ahto City. The three of you examine it closely. It was a huge web of sewers all leading out into the oceans. Then you see it. “There.” You point to what looks to be a disused pump station, marked in red. “That could be where Kuvasz is. Let’s get going.” You take your holopad back.“Zhould we not wait for help to arrive?” asks Szilard.> “You can wait for help to arrive. > “You can wait for help to arrive. Me and Misri are going to save Kuvasz.”“You can wait for help to arrive, Szilard.” You kick the sword up into your hand, then slide one of the trooper’s E-11s to Misri. She picks it up, curiously examining it. Then she reaches down to see what else she can loot off of the droids and the troopers. “But Kuvasz needs our help. They might kill him since they’re going to know we’re down here.” Szilard nods, grabbing an E-11 shakily and sitting down. “… okay then. Come on, Misri.” She nods. Typical. You honestly haven’t met one nice Selkath. Some planet of peace and neutrality this was. “You know how to use that?”“Eh…” She shrugs. “I mean, I’ve shot a blaster a couple of times.” She quirks her brow upwards, looking at you. “Eh. Guess I’ll just stay out of your way.” That’s a good thought. Well, at least she’s not entirely useless on these voyages.--The two of you reach a heavy blast door, rusted over, illuminated only by a single light overhanging it. “Can you see inside?” you asks. She shakes her head. Figures, walls probably aren’t even that thin anyway. You press the open button on the controls next to it.Wait. You push Misri out of the way, then jump to the other side. “Hey!” she yells. The door opens. A huge barrage of blaster bolts spills out of the doorway, blasting apart the wall across the ways. Sounds like they even have an E-Web in there too! “Uh, Misri, do you have anything that can-“She holds up a grenade. “Found this!” An EMP grenade. Nice. She rolls it in, then two of you wait. You hear the sound of electricity crackling and sparking. The blasters quieten down. Slowly, you look in to see the wreckage of several Commando droids and Droidekas, including a Commando Captain slumped over the E-Web.“Good call,” you say, nudging her on the arm. She smiles proudly, stepping in with you. Looks like you got them. The pumps here are disused, but the lights are still active, which means more power. “Kuvasz?” you yell
>>43631659[2/2]“Down here…” You look to your right, underneath one of the high platforms is a fenced off area, which contains Kuvasz, chained to the ceiling and pressed against the wall. He’s barechested, with what appear to be some vicious burn marks and scars across his body. “Ugh. Didn’t think you’d come for me.” You slice through the wall and step up to him. Misri helps him out of his chains. “… who’s this?”“That’s Misri,” you say. “Listen, Kuvasz, about Roark-““I know, he’s dead,” Kuvasz mutters. “Good Wookiee friend, died honorably.” You gently help him out of the cordoned area, looking upon his body.“You’ve got some vicious burns here, Kuvasz,” you state.“Nah, I already had most of these. Rest was just electro-shock,” he says. “They tried torturing the information out of me.” You gently help him down to a sitting position. “Agh. Son of a… They got me good. Good thing I’m on Manaan I guess.”“Did they find out anything?” you ask. He shakes his head. Good man. Not a talker. “What about you, did you figure out who they were working for?”“No,” he says. “They made to sure communicate silently around me unless they were asking me questions. These Commandos are smart. They were smart before but these guys are on a different level. Whoever upgraded them really needed some good enforcers.” He can say that again. “Ugh…” He leans over, holding his legs. Yeah, Kuvasz could use a bacta tank.[2/3]
>>43631676[3/3]“Ah, a conspiracy, eh?” Commander Garth stood with you, Misri, and Szilard in Kuvasz’ hospital room. There he was being held in a tank of kolto, where his wounds were being healed slowly and steadily. The doctors told you that it could be the better part of the night that he has to spend healing his wounds. “It’s not every day something like this happens on my door step.” Unlike most Officers who’d not tolerate it, he seems rather eager about it. “I’ll have the guards doubled, we’ll continue searching for these droids.” He looks over at Misri. “What about you, miss. Did you find anything out from the robolobotomy?”“Only the location of their outpost here,” she says. “Everything else was remotely fried the minute I accessed their data.” Misri frowns a little, then goes back to admiring the toned physique of Kuvasz.“Well, you’re free to stay on Manaan as long as you wish,” says Commander Garth. “I will leave you two.” Commander Garth leaves you in the sterile hospital room. You look over at Kuvasz, naked except for medical trousers. He gives a thumbs up to you, and you give him a thumbs up back.“This is really exciting,” says Misri. “I never thought I’d get to see the galaxy outside of Coruscant!” She smiles, crossing her arms. “I really hope I’m pulling my weight around like you say.”> “You are.”> “Remains to be seen.”> “Could do better.”> Other

Learn to shoot, learn to fight, and I won’t have to worry about you as much in a fight.” She nods, understanding of that. “We’ve still got a ways to go. Once Kuvasz heals up, we’ll get some upgrades to the Barloz, get that E-Web slung under the belly in case we need it, then maybe we’ll head to Smuggler’s Haven.”“Smuggler’s Haven?” she asks. She tilts her head, curious. “Where’s that?”“It’s an old modded out Lucrehulk that travels around the Outer Rim. Smugglers like me use it as a base of sorts to trade, rest, or find very good company. Empire hasn’t pounced upon it yet because they don’t know how it patrols,” you say.“Nice,” she says. “I’ve always wanted to see one of the old Trade Federation battleships.”“You just might if you’re on your best behavior.” You look at Kuvasz, who nods to you signaling that he’s okay. “Right, come on, let’s go.” The two of you step out of Kuvasz’s hospital room and into the hallway of the hospital. Medical droids pass you by as the two of you make your way back to port. “You know, Misri.” She looks up at you. “I never did ask how things were on Coruscant. Didn’t grow up there myself.”“Where did you grow up?” she asks. You shrug. “Oh, I see. Mysterious type, make me really want you, I know that.” She huffs. “Feh. Well, growing up, Madam Horch was basically my mom. Grew up living in a tiny little room in that brothel, having to make my living either fixing people’s droids or racing. I liked both, but… it wasn’t exactly living. Sure as hell wasn’t dying.”[1/2]
>>43632107[2/2]“Yeah,” you say.“What about you?”“Me? Well, went into the Imperial Academy. Got expelled for saying the wrong things, now I’m here. Not much else to say.”She squints a little. “I heard some guys in the cantina talking about how you invented a Beam Defense Position?” Well, invent is a big word for that. “And… what kind of pilot were you? You seem famous.”“I’m famous because I was smart and questioned things, not because I was good,” you say. “The TIE Pilots I’ve dealt with are really two-dimensional. All they think about is how to serve the Empire, which angle to rush an X-Wing from, how to make their superiors proud. Real pilots they think three-dimensionally. And once you add that third dimension.” You smile, poking your head. “Well, all of space just opens up to you.”She frowns a little. “Wow. You really are full of yourself.”Typical.

>>43632268She'll be your sidekick, but won't be the last recruitable crewmate aboard the Barloz.
>>43632201Anything to upgrade our Droids too, install a targeting system so they can use the main gun?
>>43632308We only have two more rooms upboard the ship though, might need to get a bigger ship....
>>43632314Lev and R5 are already capable of operating the Barloz's weaponry, R5 having learned to do so under Rhys and Lev as part of his modernization.>>43632306If you're doing that, very quickly add in a reputation system of sorts, so that newcomers can poke in and see where Rhys stands with whom. This is where you stand with factions Rhys has encountered before the first thread and going forward.Empire: AcceptedRebel Alliance: HatedThe Furies: HatedHutt Cartel: NeutralZann Corsortium: NeutralBlack Sun: NeutralFili's Busters: Hated
>>43632308True--we still need a dedicated engineer, a crew medic, a crew heavy weapons specialist, and the wunderkid that beats up everyone.
>>43632373>Fili's Busters:Who the hell are those guys?
>>43632373Will do, will I get a update on any changes over the course of the series. Also just for clarification, we go 2 E-11s or 1?
>>43632406If we acquire a wookie we can have a bruiser and an engineer... Actually any tech savvy big race would work.
>>43632373Are the fury girls gonna kill us on sight or just gonna still try to bring us in?>>43632454Sassy gay wookie.
>>43632412Commander Seamus Fili and his gang are former Rebel Alliance pilots who broke off after deciding that none of the Rebel cells were making any significant progress in halting the Empire, so they stole a heavily modded Pelta-class frigate, a bunch of fighters, and now terrorize the Galaxy with random and wildly destructive attacks. They've mostly operate in the Outer Rim, but have been known to poke and prod into the inner core from time to time. You haven't actually met Fili himself, but everyone knows who he is. And because he still identifies as a Rebel, by proxy he already hates you.>>436324191. Szilard doesn't count.>>43632459The Furies are still trying to take you alive. Warmaster Viszla is at least kind of merciful.
>>43632373Right so no one like us got it
>>43632477>Mandalorian >mercifullpick one
>>43632477I actually kinda wanna settle the issue with the furies peacefully. Wonder how we can do that.
>>43632498The Empire likes you, sort of.It's only the Army Pilots who hate you.>>43632505Okay, merciful in that she probably wants to kill you personally.
>>43632498Misri like us.
>>43632524Does the freight laser cannon, is in a fixed position or is it in a rotating turret?
>>43632524Would she be open about us doing jobs to settle the debt?
>>43632523By pissing of the son of a powerfull criminal Hutt family? No thank you. Besides i like Rotta more then the Furies.
>>43632615Anything but that of course. There must be some other way to do so.
>>43632591The only laser cannon is in the back on top of the Barloz on a rotating turret.>>43632592Depends on if you surrender to the Furies peacefully one of these days.
>>43632592We stole her family Basilisk war droid and sold it to a Hutt. So no, we can't.
>>43632650Or if we pull their asses out of a fire one of these days. Cool, at least theres a chance for burying the hatchet.
>>43632650IThis has bothered me since last thread, how long has it been since the rebellion started ?I had half a mind that their still using old clone war era fighters. Also, I think i made a mistake in credits, how much did we make on that bounty on that fake jedi?
>>43632787Rebellion started several years ago, and back then they did use old clone wars era fighters, some smaller cells still do. But the bigger cells, ones connected with Mon Mothma and Bail Organa, are the ones supplied with things like X-Wings, Y-Wings, Mon Cal ships, the works. As for credits, need not worry about that. That's tucked away into the non-specific rainy day fund. You did split the 20,000 with Vikker and Kuvasz, giving you 10,000.
>>43632842okay, I'm just double checking the funds to see if I'm up to date, and I was right for it to be 44,600 credits. Aren't Y-wings clone war era?So I guess things like B-wings and A-wings aren't developed yet?
>>43632842Did we ever figure out how old is our new side kick?
>>43632913The Furies extensively make use of the old Clone Wars era BTL-B Y-Wings, the fully armored and slow but very sturdy and hardy bombers. They've also been modified to carry more concussion missile and proton torpedo racks for anti-fighter duties as well.As for B and A-Wings, they actually have reached production, but are scattered between different cells. Star Wars Rebels canon and what not. So hype about the MOTHERFUCKING B-WING Considering the R-22 and the RZ-1 A-Wing share a lot of the same basic components, it's possible to continually upgrade it until it's an A-Wing.>>4363294619.
>>43632969Is it possible to capture or get more ships as time goes on?
I just realised, our next stop will have to be Kashyyyk. We need to return Roark for a funeral.
>>43632969The main thing that distinguishes an R-22 from mainline A-Wing is the latter's jamming system. Beyond that, they're almost identical.
>>43633018Well better armor, also faster as well. and I think more torpedo ammunition.
>>43633014The letter of marque states that the Empire will compensate you and confiscate every intact ship you capture. You could buy ships on your own which is relatively expensive.
>>43633077Well we need to probably get a bigger ship if we get more crew or at least another Star Fighter for Mersi, maybe customize the escape pods as makeshit fighter launchers like in Star wars rebels.
>>43633142We'll upgrade eventually.
>>43633077How much room do we have in the Cargo Bay?Between the Makeshift Hanger that houses the Re-22 and the Swoop Bikes. There shouldn't be that much left?
>>43633254You actually have a very decent amount of space left. For reference, the A-Wing is only 9 meters.
>>43633290Oh wow, didn't realize we have to much room. Really good to know especially if we might get more ships and or upgrades.>>43633275Is this accurate?
Could we possibly get a TIE Interceptor at some point?
>>43633382Why? We already have the R-22 as a dedicated dogfighter.
>>43633382Interceptor's still in development at this stage and I hope Star Wars Rebels canonizes it so if you want one, you might have to steal it.Though, there's probably more affordable options in the TIE Oppressor.
>>43633443Kind of a clone war era ship just to upgrade it
>>43633443What is the point defense system?
>>43633443
The TIE Interceptor appeared in RotJ. It's ultra-canon.
>>43633501If you're talking about point defense systems, the Barloz doesn't have those, nor does the TIE Oppressor, unfortunately. If you're talking about the Beam Defense Position, it's a tactical maneuver that involves baiting a much more maneuverable attacker to pursue a wingman. The two defending fighters will turn inwards towards each other and pass. The attack will at completion of the maneuver be vulnerable to attack from the other wingman from all angles.Rhys didn't invent this tactic so much as repurposed it by watching old holotapes of Clone fighters bait the much more maneuverable Tri-fighter droids into vulnerable positions. It became incredibly popular in the sims after he first used it but few Flight instructors approve of deliberately allowing a wingman to be pursued by a fighter.>>43633560I know, I mean canonized as appearing early than Yavin.
>>43633585So where are we in the originally trilogy and rebels?
>>43633623About two years before the Battle of Yavin.
>>43633634so 30 or 33?What ships are in development in the rebel side?
>>43633819Up to you to find out.
>>43633847I'm looking at the timeline and it seems that the X-wing's prototypes was made one year before Yavin.http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Battle_of_Fresia
>>43633921Eh, we'll stretch the timeline a bit. Already working off of new canon and Legends anyway.
>>43633951Will that include the A wing, C-wing, and T-wing?
>>43632339I count 6 cabin captains cabin first mate cabin and then 4 more cabin for crew not sure how you are getting those numbers
>>43634126http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Barloz-class_medium_freighterIt needs a crew of two. and can carry 4 passengers. If you include the droids we have four crew, leaving 2 empty slots.
>>43634216Why exactly do the droids need their own cabin?
>>43634216the droids do not have their own rooms
>>43634273>>43634274They don't? R5 is snarky enough and has been with him for awhile. Lev seems like a snooty driod to have his own cabin. Unless stated otherwise i'm counting them.
>>43634316power stations. R5's is likely by the cockpit
>>43634374well until German confirms otherwise, I'm going to assume it just in case.
