You are Ur'shal, Chieftain of the Stonetusk Clan and Warlord of the Wastes. To date, all of your encounters with other races have followed a fairly predictable pattern of conflict and enslavement, which makes the events of this morning something of a curiosity. A half-elf by the name of Yselt had a letter delivered to your hut by way of homunculus, raising questions on the security of your camp for one thing, requesting a meeting for your mutual benefit. From what information you've garnered about this individual from your elf slaves, you think you can rule out vengeance from her list of motives, the picture painted is a more selfish, ruthless and amoral one than that. Still, you cannot rule out the possibility that she intends to lead you into an ambush, which is why you have gathered together a suitable party to attend the meeting with you. With Dru'ak and the rest of your honorguard, supported by Ya'zada, Izannia and Vaki, you should be more than prepared to deal with any schemes the halfbreed might have. It's a stark, clear morning over the wastes, though it maintains a closeness to it which makes you suspect storms brewing over the jungles to the south. Yselt wishes to meet with you at a split rock a couple of hours to the east, too far away for further backup from your clan to arrive quickly should it become necessary. You know the location well enough however to know that the ground is flat and open around the landmark in question, which would make it a hard spot to hide an ambush.(cont)
>>42922065Ya'zada seems to be itching for action, a lopsided, one-tusksed smile across her features, while Dru'ak, in contrast, remains as stoic as ever. Izannia stifles a yawn as she steps up alongside you, looking distinctly unhappy to have been dragged from her slumber at this early hour, grumbling something about uppity elf-kin not setting their meetings for more civilized hours. You've allowed the slave her arms and armor, you doubt she'd pull anything at this stage, and the explanation you drew from her about her magical abilities makes you doubt that she'd be much less dangerous without them.Vaki sticks close to you, hanging just slightly behind as you walk, which you soon figure out is the little fey trying to use you as a mobile source of shade. She's already worked her way through two waterskins on the journey, and you're not even there yet, you suppose the dry climate doesn't really suit the river sprite, though she's bearing it with her usual positive attitude. You suppose now would be as good a time as any to question her on all her disappearances of late.“Vaki?” you grunt, earning a chirpy 'hmm?' from behind you.“You've been leaving the camp a lot lately, any reason for it?”“Vaki has been very busy, Vaki wants to spend more time with Ur, but busy busy,” the fey explains, making it a little troubling to walk as she wraps her slim arms around your waist.“Busy doing what?” you ask, more than used to the long process of asking the fey a simple question by now.“Vaki doesn't want to say, surprise for Ur,” the fey grins, peering up at you from your side, dark eyes twinkling.>I don't like surprises>Suppose I'll have to wait and see then

“Suppose I'll have to wait and see,” you grunt, as Vaki hangs off of your waist in excitement, beaming up at you.“Great surprise, Vaki promise.”It isn't long before your group crests a cluster of uneven rocks, and you spot the meeting point in the distance. You squint against the morning haze, catching a slight glint of something shiny atop your destination through the glare of the morning sun.“Is that her?” Ya'zada asks, shielding her eye with her hand as she follows your gaze.“Don't see any backup with her. Maybe she really did come alone.” “Maybe,” you grunt, frowning, there's definitely someone up there on that rock, but scanning the open ground around it you see no signs of any other figures.“What's the plan, Ur?” Dru'ak rumbles, resting his maul on his shoulder.>Have the rest wait here, go alone>Take the whole group>Take part of the group (who?)
>>42922208Sorry, wasn't really feeling GKQ today, I'm going to try to have a thread later in the week though.

>>42922263>Take part of the group (who?)Ya'zada and Izania
Already started writing, I'm afraid, Dru'ak and Izannia won.
4chan has been laggy as shit today for me, so that might explain the slow thread.
“Dru'ak, Izannia, you come with me, the rest of you wait here, if she pulls anything, you know what to do,” you grunt.“Be careful, Ur,” Ya'zada frowns, as Vaki begins pouting at you leaving her behind. You nod to the pair, turning and heading down into the flat stony ground around the split rock. “Izannia, you make sure she doesn't pull anything sorcerous on us,” you grunt. The battlemage gives you a frown, shaking her head. “You are aware that I am not a diviner, I hope? I would rather you not expect me to sense any magical traps or things of that nature.”Ignoring her whining, you turn your attention back towards the figure ahead of you. With her back to the sun, it's hard to make out many details. One detail you can make out however is that you're now quite certain that the glint you spotted on the horizon was coming from her, she practically sparkles where the sun catches her.As you draw closer, she rises from where she sits, hopping down onto a lower part of the rock. She's still out of reach, but at least down to where she's shaded from the sun and you won't be squinting through this whole meeting.(cont)
>>42922629She looks much as you'd expected of a half-elf, with the brown skin of the jungle elves, though a little taller and less wiry for the human blood in her. Her ears are slightly pointed, and bedecked in gold earrings, which you would guess are part of the source of the sparkle, along with the numerous rings worn on her fingers. Contrasting sharply with her dark skin, a pair of icy blue eyes stare out at you from beneath her fringe, and despite the wide, welcoming grin the half-elf wears, you spot the calculating glint in them.“Chieftain Ur'shal, what an honor to finally meet you in person,” Yselt calls, doing a sweeping bow from the waist, setting the amulets, trinkets and talismans worn over her finely tailored leathers jingling.Dru'ak regards the half-elf impassively, content to loom in the background, though you'd imagine a few of the same thoughts are crossing his mind that crossed yours at the sight of the half-elf's pretty features and athletic figure, the few light scars across her jaw, cheek and forehead only adding to the effect.Izannia snorts, muttering something about gaudy, tasteless peasants as Yselt finishes her bow. Rising up to take a relaxed stance above you, one palm resting idly on the pommel of the sword at her waist.“Yselt, I hope you didn't drag me out here just to make pleasantries,” you grunt.“Not at all, chieftain. I came here with an offer, as I said, one which could be mutually beneficial to the both of us.”You frown, waiting for her to continue. Yselt seems in no hurry, enjoying the pantomime of this meeting, pacing atop her rocky stage as she idly thumbs at the golden clasp across the back of her ear. “I come here to you today to offer my services, in a purely professional capacity, mind. So, what do you say, interested?” she grins, turning to face you once more.>Demand she comes down here to discuss it>Fine, hear her out>Order Izannia to knock her down off her perch, take her prisoner
>>42922634>Fine, hear her out
>>42922634>>Fine, hear her outCan't hurt.
>>42922634>Since she's talking about mutuality, have her come down so we're on the same level of elevation and can discuss it without having to look up.If we need to capture or subdue her, this should make it easier.>Hear out her proposition.Might not be a bad idea, and developing a professional relationship with something resembling trust would make her eventual capture easier, probably.God damn it, missed the first part of the thread, I don't suppose you ended up sending out a pack of orcs to prod the skinchanger territory and hunt/explore, right?
>>42922634>>Fine, hear her out
>>42922634>>Demand she comes down here to discuss it
>>42922658> I don't suppose you ended up sending out a pack of orcs to prod the skinchanger territory and hunt/explore, right? No, but you could get some to go do that when you return.
>>42922666It was mostly planned so that if Yselt really did have some kind of ambush set up in cooperation with the skinchangers, they'd either have to leave some of their forces behind, or return to their base ransacked/full of orcs after our meeting is finished. Not really relevant anymore.Instead I'd rather start planning a raid on the lamia and maybe a simultaneous raid on a harpy nest, once the new orcs have arrived and we've figured out their sociopolitical climate. Especially since Ya'zada has been itching for action, as you've said.
>>42922634Wait, humans are taller than chocoelves?
>>42922634>>Fine, hear her outBard going to bard
>>42922725I wanted to ask, is how long the Command stat increase is going to be already decided, and is it dependent on what we decide to do and how busy we make ourselves? I suppose the baseline would be a couple weeks at least or something, right? Month? And is it the same for all such stat increases? I assume learning how to swim wouldn't take as long though. Can Aza'ra swim? Can we learn how to swim from her?
>>42922755The amount of time a stat takes to increase is dependent on how high it is. It's going to be a little while.Aza'ra can indeed swim.
>>42922721>>42922725Or at least, the humans native to this region are taller than the elves native to it. Some cultures of humans and elves vary wildly in average height.
>>42922768So would it take about the same time to increase Command from 3 to 4 as it would take to increase Strength from 3 to 4?Which would take longer, to get a skill from 0 to 1, or from 1 to 2?
>>42922812That's right.1 to 2.
I feel like next stat increase should be negotiation. We can't do all our dimplomacy with our dick.I know it's borderline heresy to even suggest such a thing, but still.
>>42922844I can agree to that, depending on how long it takes. And especially if Swimming isn't a stat and we can learn how to swim at the same time.>>42922830Is Swimming a stat? I don't think so as I don't see it on Aza'ra's char sheet, just checking. Would we benefit from both Aza'ra and Vaki teaching us how to swim? Also just realized we now know of 3 harpy gods.>Great Mother>Heavenly Song>Talons-from-SkyThough these ones seem a lot more abstract and conceptual/symbolic than the orcish ones.
>>42922877Swimming isn't a stat, it's tied to endurance if rolls are required, but you have to know how to do it first.
>>42922877Can't imagine Vaki is a good teacher.>"What do you mean you can't breathe underwater?"
So, an Ask.fm ideaMeet with Za'ria when we return about sending a number of humans that we could ensure or coerce into being capable spies maybe 2 dozen in number, to set up spy camp in the coven's old cave or the old Cloud tribe site, with maybe a small group of orcs for camp protection/loyal dickings. Needs vulture riders for quicker travel home. From their spy camp they can meander over to the loyal Slaggyr tribes or to his camp itself and collect us fresh intel.
“I'm listening,” you grunt, resting your greataxe on the ground to lean on it.“I am glad to hear that my high hopes for you were not misplaced, chieftain. As I mentioned in my letter, my name is Yselt, I am something of an adventurer, I suppose, though I'm sure some narrow minded types back in the city-states would disagree.”“I have plenty of warriors and slaves who know how to fight and loot tombs,” you frown, you know full well there's more to this offer, but she seems intent on dancing around it for as long as possible.“Few who could do it as well as me, I reckon, no offense to your warriors,” Yselt smiles, adjusting one of the rings on her fingers as she pauses.“The service I'm offering is one of a more subtle nature. I'll admit, I've been watching your progress for a little while now, ever since your first raid on the villages to the south. In a short period of time, you've grown your clan significantly, and scattered or enslaved the elven population on your border,” Yselt nods, letting her hand rest idly on her sword's pommel once more.“I've dealt with enough orcs in my life to know that your people will not be content to idle here without enemies to fight and take as slaves. Which means your clan will have to move soon, and what better location to begin your expansion than the city-states. Fractious and chaotic as they are, they would take a great deal of time to mount any sort of coordinated resistance against you, they might never manage it if you went about your conquests in the right way.”(cont)
>>42922976“You plan to sell out your own homeland?” Izannia speaks up, distaste heavy in her tone.“I don't recall ever bending the knee and swearing fealty to the petty kings and robber barons of the city-states. I can give you information, I can link you up with potential allies, I could even help you lure some foolish individuals out here to the wastes, if it takes your fancy,” Yselt smirks, once again letting her fingertips brush against the clasp at the back of her ear, a nervous tic, it seems.“So you are offering to help me in conquering the city-states? And what is it that you want in return?” you frown, it seems Lokasi wasn't exaggerating about the half-elf's ruthlessness.“Nothing too complicated, a respectable retainer for my services, and free access to the wastes to engage in my official profession without risk of unfortunate misunderstandings with your clan. What do you say?”>Write-in
>>42922909I was the anon who originally brought up the idea of espionage, but I disagree.I think we should definitely hold a meeting of our lieutenants when Or'kug returns, and just throw the info that there's some trouble/discord brewing in Slaggyr's place, maybe ask opinion about it from some human slaves or our ogres. It's probably Or'kug, Za'ria, and Koz'rak who know the most about espionage and so we should rely on their ideas. We would either need some seriously reliable humans, or better yet someone who can do long range communication magic. We could even send Aza'ra north after a while to explore the mountains, then bring back info when she returns. And don't forget that we have easy access to the secret underground river which leads to right under Slaggyr's nose, which means an ambush on the heart of his territory wouldn't be that hard. Especially if we gathered our forces in the mountains and harassed the outer borders of his place so he'd concentrate his forces there, and then we retreated and entered the underground river with an elite force that would then reach the heart of his place just in time for the forces left behind to launch another harassing attack on them and draw attention to themselves, after which we could spring out and strike at his base with less enemies to worry about, if I'm thinking right. Then again there's a chance that there are hostiles in the river so that needs to be explored before this plan can begin, and Slaggyr and co might have already discovered it or have magic that'd alert them to our presence. And we still have that puzzle as well. Then again, Yselt might be useful in this regard as well.>>42922988What does she mean by respectable retainer?
>>42922988We will pay her for any good information she gives us and if she comes peacefully, we'll let her go peacefully. We might even trade with her.
>>42922988Might be simpler to agree to it, maybe ask her to accompany us to some tomb robbings, then go ahead and claim her once we're in the tomb.If she's an obedient slave, she will give us info willingly, and for free.
>>42922988I mean, we have a lot of gold we aren't using and information is always helpful so I see no real downsides to this.Don't know we can ensure safe passage to the wastes though.
>>42922988>What is your profession and what kind of retainer.Let's try not to get tricked by some half-man
>>42922988>Write-in"No deal. A child could see that you would betray me as soon as it was worth your while."
>>42923043>not betraying her firstThis is how you play this game, anon. It's a favorite pastime of aristocracy. Who can make the best alliances while fully aware that everyone plans to backstab everyone else. The trick is you have to make it not worth it to be backstabbed before you backstab others.
I'm for this but we should get some sort of concession from her first. A show of loyalty.Information to a rich tomb or something.
>>42922988>and free access to the wastes to engage in my official profession without risk of unfortunate misunderstandings with your clanThe wastes are always free, if you want a guarantee of "safe passage", you can only earn it the orcish way, by fighting and killing those that would oppose you. Even those of my clan.
>>42922988>I hope you don't believe that even if I agree to this, I'd leave you to plunder all the tombs in the wastes for yourself.>>42923061How would she know about a rich tomb if she hasn't already robbed it empty?
>>42923057Or you can just skip all the foreplay and ass pain should something go wrong and cunt punt a bitch
>>42923071She must have heard rumours of places she hasn't looted yet or why would she still be coming out here?
>>42923070You'd rather lose orcs instead of letting her do it? She'd be able to slip by or kill some random orcs anyway.>>42922988>First of all, explain this retainer idea of yours.>Otherwise, I can agree to let you go mostly as you please in the wastes and have your fun with some tombs, provided you will inform me of your activities as well as providing information on the elven areas.>>42923079You actually think she came to this place solo and unprepared? KEK, she has some magical junk in place against aggression for sure, and we didn't bring the coven to fuck with the rock above she's on.It's better to play the long game and play along for now, we just have to stop betray her before she can strike up an alliance with Slaggyr or something.
>>42923079>>42923113Exactly. She's a female adventurer who's dealt with orcs before. No way does she arrange a meeting if she isn't 100% sure she can escape.
>>42922988If we agree to this in some fashion, have her come down here and shake hands to seal the deal. When she does, throw a dagger so that it passes by her or strike the ground next to her with our axe or something, as a show of our good will, since we could have killed her but didn't, maybe tell her it'd show good faith for her to show what she had up her sleeve as well. Then when we shake hands, shock her with our gauntlets, knock her out, seal her mouth, and strip her of her talismans and trinkets.I mean, if you guys don't want to bother with intrigue and shit, I guess.
>>42923139I mean, being 100% sure is just stupid. We could have 60 archers set up with poison arrows waiting for a signal, or have long range disabling magic.Of course, the one who we're talking to might just be a magical construct, which would mean that she's in 100% no danger herself and can test how trustworthy we are.
>>42922988Please give us a bit more time than usual for this, Lordy.
>>42922988This >>42923042>>42923070Don't cut yourself on all that edge there.Seriously though, kind of curious what the hell she expects to find in the Wastes.Because without more information I'm pretty sure the thing that offers the best cost-risk-reward ratio is information on us.Which means, that if se keeps being this pointlessly vague, we should probably just grab or kill her.Preferably not here, but what do you have your shapeshifting hunter priests for if not to track a treacherous half-elf while she travels between prepared defensive positions.>>42923166She's wearing like a dozen magical items.Odds are one can teleport her.Probably some strict limitations on stuff like that, but preparing something for the specific purpose of getting her out of here isn't the titanic challenge it seems to be.
>>42923175Yeah, I'm giving half an hour for this one, so you've got 13 minutes left.
>>42923113>She'd be able to slip by or kill some random orcs anyway. That's pretty much it, even if we gave her the go ahead, one fucktard orc would go trying to bully her into giving either her loot or some booty, or both. Kill a few of them everytime she gets stopped and those trying trying to "stop" her would know better. Ur got better things to do than going after each orc and tell them to let the half-elf roam the waste all she wants. You can be certain that at least 3 orcs would try to go behind the boss orders.
So what is the consensus here? In general agree to her terms but question her about what she wants in the wastes and get clarification on certain points?
>>42923182Odds are that such items need to be activated though. So if we can get her unconscious before she can activate it, then we might be fine.Or as I said, it's just a magical construct.I think the only way to be safe about capturing her right now, even if I'd rather do it a bit later, like on a second or third meeting, is to demonstrate that we could have killed her but didn't, then ask her to do the same, maybe have her tell us how she ensured she would be able to get away from here. If she reveals, then maybe have Dru'ak spook her, tell him to stop it, then shock+cover mouth, strip her completely, gag, bind limbs. I mean, all the gaudy trinkets might just be a distraction. Then again she may have just gotten overconfident.
>>42923229We would have to betray/capture her at some point anyway, the question is if it's better to do it now or later.Either way we'll have to modify the agreement anyway, it'd be suspicious if we just agreed to her terms as is. We should ask that she provide magical services, and ask if she knows scrying magic/spying in some way. Ask that she provide us all info she finds on the wastes, and accompany us on some tombraids in the future. If we capture her now, do the handshake+shocking+mouthcovering+Iza casting any antimagic casting hex or whatever she knows, kinda like in >>42923242>>42923185I hope you can make sense of what we've managed to cook up so far. Maybe iron out the changing of her terms, write, then hold a vote just before the chance to try to capture her on whether we want to or not? If we fail it might end very badly for us, after all.I've got a bad feeling about this, Scoob.
Okay, seeing a lot of conflicting posts in all of this. So I'm going to try to narrow it down to a few votes.First up, the important one:>Agree to the deal (for now)>Pretend to agree to the deal, then knock her out>Refuse the deal
Demand for a look at the stuff she collects before giving the ok to sellIf our artifacts experts deems something too valuable/dangerous it stays here.
>>42923353>>Agree to the deal (for now)
>>42923353>Refuse the deal
>>42923353Can you just write out how the whole conversation would go up to the handshake? I want to see her reactions and attitude before deciding to knock her out or not.
>>42923394Hmm, I suppose I could do it that way if people would prefer? My this vote is getting chaotic
>>42923353>Agree to the deal (for now)
>>42923416Let's say if agreeing to the deal in some way wins, you write it out until we'd knock her out(I assume it would go the same way up to that point), and then hold a vote on whether to try to knock her out or to let her go.I'd personally prefer it that way.
>>42923353>Agree to the deal (for now)we can change it later.
>>42923416>>42923394I'm fine with just agreeing to the deal.If she's a shifty fuck then I'm sure we'll get a chance to get revenge. It'd be more satisfying that way.
>>42923416Naw, it's okay. Do it how you want to do it.
>>42923446You can still vote for agreeing even if Lordy does it like >>42923439>>42923452I don't think it would changer how much Lordy writes, so at most it'd be a problem of inconvenience with interrupting his train of thought.
Okay, so you're agreeing to make a deal with her, now for the details.>Pay an ongoing retainer>Pay her on an information by information basis>Let her have free access to the wastes>Let her into the wastes, but she has to be accompanied by members of our clan when tomb robbing>Refuse free access to the wastes
>>42923416I don't want to knock her out
>>42923496>Pay her on an information by information basis>Let her have free access to the wastes
>>42923496>>Pay an ongoing retainer>Let her into the wastes, but she has to be accompanied by members of our clan when tomb robbingTell her of the hellish monsters living in the wastes.
>>42923496>Pay her on an information by information basis>Let her into the wastes, but she has to be accompanied by members of our clan when tomb robbing
>>42923496>>Pay her on an information by information basis>>Let her have free access to the wastesIt's not like we could stop her going into the wastes.
>>42923496>Pay an ongoing retainer>Let her into the wastes, but she has to be accompanied by members of our clan when tomb robbing
>>42923496Seriously what's a retainer? If it's like regular payment, then>pay per information>Accompanied by clan in part so they learn from her, and she tells us if she found a particularly important tomb to orcs, because we will personally want to participate in that raid and have the chance to capture her.>Ask that she provides magical services when asked.
>>42923537>Seriously what's a retainer? If it's like regular payment, thenYes, effectively she'd be on Ur's payroll.
>>42923496>Pay her on an information by information basis>Refuse free access to the wastes
>>42923496>Pay her on an information by information basis>Let her have free access to the wastesAnd tell her we might pay more for orcish artefacts
>>42923496>Pay per info>has to be accompanied
“I agree to some of your terms. You'll be paid for information based on how valuable that information is, I won't throw gold at you for telling me nothing,” you grunt.“That stings, chieftain, I'd like to think I can sort the wheat from the chaff, you know,” Yselt sighs, shaking her head.“Secondly, if you wish access to the wastes to raid tombs, you will contact me and go accompanied by members of my clan. I will pay well for any orcish artifacts you recover from the tombs,” you continue.Yselt taps her foot on the rock, fiddling with the rings on her fingers as she observes you silently.“Very well, chieftain, while I'm saddened by your lack of trust in me, it's good to know that we can reach a reasonable compromise,” the half-elf smirks, not looking remotely saddened. You snort, holding out a hand in front of you, which the half-elf eyes from her perch.“Well?” you grunt. There's a long pause before Yselt hops down from atop her rock, eyes flitting between you and your two companions. Dru'ak shifts his grip on his maul, your friend anticipating some last minute surprise, while Izannia simply regards the half-elf like something she found on the bottom of her boot.To Yselt's credit, she doesn't flinch under your gaze, the half-elf taking your massive hand in hers, though her free hand drifts down to lightly wrap around the hilt of her sword as you shake. It's a strange and somewhat frustrating feeling to have an attractive female in front of you and not to claim her. You don't think you much like it, honestly.>Restrain yourself>Surprise knockoutI figured since it was asked for, I may as well put the vote in, only a ten minute voting window though since I think I know what the outcome will be.
>>42923797>>Restrain yourselfAt least give her a chance.
>>42923797>Restrain yourselfA cock must be used in a moment of critical peak of the situation, using cock wildly is bold, but leads to paths unwanted to the owner of a cock.
What a shame we didn't catch her. I don't trust her at all.
>>42923899What did you expect us to do Lordy?
>>42924016Well, judging by the earlier votes, I figured you'd restrain yourself, but who knows, sometimes when put on the spot, the D wins.
>>42924037It's impulsive like that, true.
>>42923797>that grip on her swordI hate to be the one to say it since I supported being cautious, but it seems like we could have nabbed with little to no trouble if we used the lightnig gauntlet trick. It's obvious she didn't have any automatic antiattack/teleport magic set up.Except if she was playing psychological games on us, but I find that unlikely.
Patience, Ur, you'll have her someday, no reason to rush things. For now, you'll give her a chance to prove herself, see if the little halfbreed can be of use to your clan. It is true after all, information on the city-states would be very valuable if you plan to push south.“We have a deal then,” Yselt grins, as you finish your handshake, the half-elf once again toying with her earring.“We do, for now at least,” you grunt.“Wonderful, then let me give you the first bit of information for free, a token of my goodwill,” the half-elf smiles.“A few days ago, I heard that a group of individuals I'm somewhat familiar with were planning an expedition into the wastes, looking for a fearsome orcish chieftain who had been rampaging around the elven villages to the south. Apparently, this heroic group hopes to claim the chieftain's head, and trade it in for a profit from those few old nationalists still festering away who're offering a bounty on such things.”“I'm surprised you didn't come to take it yourself,” Izannia spits, crossing her arms.“Please, I don't work for pittence, the only reason anyone would take a bounty like that up is if they already had an orcish head on hand, or if they're motivated by some idiotic, emotive reason. Pride, justice, retribution, all that trash,” Yselt smirks.“So who are this group?” you frown.(cont)
>>42924196“Akipu, Jada, Bootknife, Soth and Cylwyrri. Don't let the names fool you, they're actually marginally competent. At a guess, with stocking up on supplies and making the journey they'd be here in a week, provided Cylwyrri doesn't break a leg trotting through the jungle of course.”“What else can you tell me about this group?”“I could give you a description, course a very detailed description would fall outside of the realm of this freebie, and assistance in bringing them down would fall even further outside of that realm,” Yselt grins.Seems this free information isn't so free after all...>Just the description>Detailed description>Yselt's assistance
>>42924204>>Detailed descriptionIt's not like we're doing much with the gold (assuming that's what she wants).
>>42924204"How about we turn this into an event? We take on these 'adventurers' together along with whoever in my clan wants to take part, winner is whoever can claim the most heads?"
>>42924204>Just the description
>>42924271Because when we win we can claim her too.
>>42924350So you want to kill a bunch of qt female adventurers just for some excuse to have sex with a different adventurer? Not getting your logic.
>>42924385We don't know if these other female adventurers are female though, what if they're all male and/or unattractive?
>>42924404This OWQ mate. There are going to be qt female adventurers. At least three of the names we've been given could be women.
>>42924404And what if they're all female and more qt than Yselt? Think before you post, stupid?
>>42924417Looks like the last one is a Centaur too from how they were described.
>>42924332Give her a single coin for the info, as a nominal fee, since this is our first business deal.
>>42924469I'd say give her a single coin since we're an Orc and have no sense of the value of money.
>>42924509I'd say give her a single coin and troll her by pretending we're an Orc who has no sense of the value of money. She's been watching us though and will probably demand a certain amount of gold.
“Detailed description, I'll have some gold brought out to you later today.”“I'd rather get paid in advance, but I suppose just this once,” Yselt smirks, sitting back on a rock.“Right, first up, Akipu, he's an elf, and boy does he ever hate you. He had relatives in those villages your clan raided, one of your warriors is probably balls deep in his mother right now. He's a tracker, hunter, good with a spear, basically, he's a stereotype, a dangerous one though,” Yselt shrugs, glancing across your trio once more.“You know, you can sit down if you want.”You grunt, folding your arms and waiting for her to continue.“Right, well anyway, Jada's a marksman, crack shot with a crossbow, not bad at close range either, I guess. Odds are first thing you know about their group being here'll be Jada picking your clanmates off from a distance. She's got some dumb love triangle thing going on with Akipu and Soth. Can't say I much care for mixing business with pleasure myself, or for her taste in men,” the half-elf continues with a chuckle.“Bootknife's a twitchy little fuck, but then he's a goblin, so that's kind of a given. Sneaky, treacherous, traits I can appreciate, except that he's a kleptomaniacal little bastard and when he's not being sneaky he won't shut his gods damned mouth for a second. Anyway, watch out, because despite Soth and Cylwyrri complaining about it being dishonorable, he's always got plenty of poisons on hand.Soth's a Jadite, from one of their monastic orders, or was from one anyway, guessing from him growing his hair out and trying to slip Jada his dick that he's fallen a bit off the vows. He's decent in a fight with his swords, and he knows some magic too, mostly battlemage stuff, arcana of strength, arcana of life, things like that.”(cont)
>>42924552Yselt pauses, hopping back up from her rock. Woman can't sit still, she's even fiddling with her earring again.“Last but not least is Cylwyrri. Their resident stranger from a strange land. She's a centaur, if you can believe it. Fuck knows what she's doing all the way over here, but she's mean in a fight, real mean, definitely the party's raw muscle. Course being a centaur mean she's at a bit of a disadvantage in tight spaces, but I'm sure you could figure that one out, eh.”You nod, considering her words.“Very well, we'll be ready for them.”“Great, have some gold brought out to me, and I'll be in touch, unless there's something else?” Yselt grins.>One more thing (write-in)>No, you can goUr doesn't usually carry gold with him, so you can't pay her right here and now.
>>42924568>>Ask her if she wants to have sexOtherwise>>No, you can go
>>42924568Invite her to join our harem.
>>42924568>>No, you can go>>42924606I doubt she wants to have sex, since she knows about orcs she probably also knows about becoming addicted to the D
>>42924568>One more thing (write-in)"Would you like to watch Jada and Cylwyrri get knocked up if we manage to capture them alive?"
>>42924657You never know anon, you never know.Besides I thought Ur has been well too civil. Poor guy.
>>42924652This. She won't accept but it's worth bringing up alongside >>42924665
>>42924665Nah man, focus on her, she'll feel neglected if we talk about others.>>42924568Ask if there's a price for her body. Strictly professionally speaking, of course.
>>42924748>paying for sexThat is not the Orc way
Does Ur'shal even know what a centaur is?
>>42924901He's heard of them in passing from Ku'zag.
>>42924901Do I even know?Maybe to the first and no to the second.
“Not unless you want to join my harem,” you shrug.“You just came right out and said it, huh. Flattered, but I'm not ready to settle down into the cozy life of a sex slave quite yet,” Yselt chuckles, once again toying with the clasp on the back of her ear.“Fine, you're welcome to watch when Jada and Cylwyrri get added to it either way. Maybe you'll reconsider once you see how happy they are.”“Now that could be worth a laugh. Take care of yourself, chieftain, it'd be a shame if you got yourself killed right as we were getting to know each other,” Yselt smirks, sitting back down on her rock. You suppose she plans to wait here for someone to arrive with her gold.Grunting, you turn and head back to the rest of the group, leaving the strange half-elf behind you. Izannia stalks up next to you as you move further away, a deep frown etched into her features.“You're not seriously going to trust that woman are you? A treacherous mongrel like that will stab you in the back the moment it's convenient,” the sorceress spits, glowering back over her shoulder at the shrinking figure of Yselt in the distance.“I don't recall ever saying I trusted her,” you snort, rejoining the group and beginning the long trek back, weathering Vaki's curious barrage of questions about the half-elf the whole journey. The question now is how much gold you give her. You don't know how much this shiny junk is worth to humans, after all.>Send a gold coin>A handful of gold>A sack of gold>A large sack of gold
>>42924932>>A handful of coinAs hilarious as a single coin would be, there's no need to sour things this early.Make it a small handful though, maybe a slave's.
>>42924932>A handful of gold
>>42924932>>A handful of gold
>>42924918Can Centaurs get knocked up by orcs?
>>42925016Most things can.
>>42925016Only one way to find out.
>>42924932>A sack of gold
>>42924932>send a gold coinShe didn't give us any very useful info, mostly just party politics bullshit and a few things relevant to fights. And telling us of their existence was free, as she said.
>>42924932I imagine we haven't taken much of an interest in our pile of gold, but are we able to tell how many different currencies we have, and where they were minted? Some of them might be more valuable than others, beyond their basic gold content -- or even including their basic gold content, since kingdoms debase that shit all the time, not to mention counterfeiters and coiners doing it.
>>42925094>She didn't give us any very useful info, mostly just party politics bullshit and a few things relevant to fights. And telling us of their existence was free, as she said. You need those. Extra big picture so you can see easier too.
>>42925119Ur doesn't really have the knowledge of currency to figure all that out.
>>42925149In separate post too.
>>42925083What does the whelp look like?
>>42925209Mostly orcish, they don't have a centaur-body or anything. They just tend to be large and powerfully built, with some horselike hair around the lower legs and long, pointed ears.
>>42925151Anon, she literally just gave us gossip and info we could've found out in 2 minutes once meeting them. The only really fun info was the love triangle, so we know who to use if we feel like some cuckoldry.I wonder what race Jada is though, we might have a fun use for Lokasi if Jada's an elf, as cucking mentor.>>42925170>implying I'm not wearing glasses right now
>>42925151We have dwarf slave who would probably know
>>42925242We should get her on that. If we're going to be spending money, we're going to need to start understanding it.
The trek back to camp is uneventful, and you ask Ya'zada to have an orc return to Yselt with a handful of gold, and let you know how she reacts to the amount later.Your mate looks a little disappointed that the meeting didn't end in a big fight, followed by you pinning the half-elf down and having your way with her. Still, promises of some future attention, combined with the raids to come, seem to placate Ya'zada's urges for the time being. The camp is abuzz with activity as you arrive, and it's easy to see why, countless unfamiliar faces clustered around near the gates to the camp, mingling with your orcs. It's getting a little tense in places, though your lieutenants and some orcs whom you assume are the chieftains of the clans Or'kug retrieved seem to be keeping things in order. You spot the old orc in question as he steps out from amidst the crowd, making his way over to you.“Chieftain, good timing. I hope nothing unpleasant happened in my absence,” Or'kug nods, leading you back through the crowd of orcs and into the camp. Many pause to watch you, no doubt noticing Or'kug's deferential treatment of you and putting two and two together. The new clans seem much like you'd expect. Mostly male, with a few females mixed in, and a handful of jungle elf and cragfolk slaves between them. A sorry state, one which reminds you all too well of how your own clan was not too long ago. While you are a source of curiosity, it isn't enough to keep most orcish eyes from drifting to the many females of the camp, Izannia sticking very close to you as you pass through the crowd.“No, things have been quiet here. Though I get the feeling that's about to change,” you grunt, the two of you walking towards the meeting hut as you pass out the other side of the crowd.“I thought you'd want to hear a detailed report on the clans I acquired, if you have the time?”>Alright, let's go>Gather up the other lieutenants, they'll want to hear this>Later, I have things to do first
>>42925311>>Gather up the other lieutenants, they'll want to hear this
>>42925311>>Sure, talkWe'll hold a meeting with the lieutenants later.I think it might also be a good idea to have the newcomer clans' previous chiefs pledge loyalty to us.
>>42925311>Alright, let's go
>>42925311>Gather up the other lieutenantsWhich I guess includes all of these new former-chieftains too.
Reminder to talk about an espionage to the northern mountains with the lieutenants later, after we deal with the newcomer chiefs and such. Maybe have the chiefs introduce themselves and pledge themselves to us.Also, I feel it's about time for a raid on the lamia compound, and maybe one more harpy nest.Hell, if we bring our Matriarch, she might be able to convince the harpies to join up willingly.
>>42925376Hell no, we'll have to see what they're like first.I doubt we'd want all of them as our direct lieutenants right now.
>>42925378Willing harpies is great, but we definitely need some actual violence to keep our clanmates happy. I say we raid the lamias first. Bring Lokasi with us, too, for some battlefield bonding.
>>42925394The orcs are going to want spokespersons they can trust to forward their concerns to us. If not their old chiefs, then who? There's nothing saying we can't demote or eliminate them later if they prove troublesome, but imposing a stranger on them as their lieutenant doesn't seem like a it would fly.
>>42925311>>Gather up the other lieutenants, they'll want to hear thisif the new clans get to rowdy we might have to do something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amrmWyKz48k
>>42925428Being a lieutenant isn't just being a spokesperson, anon. We had less than 10 lieutenants with over 250 orcs, and now you want to add 8 new ones just because a little over 100 newcomers? That's disproportionate, besides if they were a chief of like a small clan of 20, then they don't have equal power to the chief of a larger clan.Besides, I want to meet them all anyway. Good to know what kinds we're dealing with.>>42925463Are we meeting the newcomer chiefs? Please?
>>42925428We're already in the process of breaking down old clan barriers. They are a member of the Stonetusks now. If their old chiefs are worthy of being lieutenants then they will become lieutenants.
>>42925477Or'kug was intending to tell you about them first, rather than making you meet them blind. That's the purpose of him having a meeting with you, apologies if I didn't make that clear.
>>42925477So far all of our lieutenants are the chieftains of clans we've absorbed, except for Zo'rok, who is an old friend. The only chieftain who didn't become a lieutenant is the Skyhunter chief, who we killed. We're at a scale where we can't individually know every single orc under our command, and if we're going to delegate, we should be delegating to people who do know those orcs' strengths and weaknesses. By all means we should meet them first; if someone's going to be an obvious problem, it's good to know that up front. That's why we should get them all to sit down with us and the rest of the lieutenants in the meeting hall.As for size of clan equallying power, Ya'zar's clan was tiny and he's a lieutenant. We just delegate to him a lot less often than we do to others. Merely being lieutenants doesn't make them all equal.
I'm pretty sure it would've been better to hear about them in private first so we can decide if maybe we shouldn't reveal some info to one of our lieutenants about one of the chiefs or something.>>42925501Has Ku'zag taken a look at Inka's kid yet? If yes and you plan to have it be shown or something in the thread, don't reply. Actually, don't reply anyway, just have this as a reminder that we told him to do that.
“Alright, gather the rest of the lieutenants, they'll want to hear this too,” you grunt.Or'kug nods, sending off one of the clan to gather up the rest, as the two of you settle in and wait at the meeting hut.“There's more orcs out there, far more than I'd thought, chieftain. I'd recommend against bringing them all in too quickly, it will make things messy, but if we send out regular parties, draw them in a few at a time...” Or'kug explains, sitting himself down at one of the seats as you take your usual place at the head of the chamber.“We could turn this into a real horde.”“Enough to start looking beyond the wall, to start taking back what's ours,” the old orc nods, a thin, cruel smile on his wrinkled face. The lieutenants filter in one by one, Ya'zada arriving last having arranged for the gold to get to Yselt. Or'kug looks to you for a signal to start, and you give him a nod, the old orc clearing his throat.“We gathered up eight different clans out there, all small and dying, made them more eager to join up with us. Of course not all of their chieftains were sensible, Vo'lorok of the Fireskull Clan and Gra'gaz of the Scarred Rhino Clan were not willing to see reason, and so the Fireskulls and Scarred Rhinos are now lacking in chieftains.”You nod, noting a passing smirk on Zo'rok's face as the Fireskull clan's chieftain is mentioned, you think you can guess who killed him then.“The other chieftains proved more friendly, or at least willing to see reason before a fatal lesson was required. Za'gar of the Sand Devil Clan, Lor'gaz of the Thunderjaw Clan and R'zul of the Blackfist Clan all came willingly. Kor'lag of the Elfkiller Clan and Yo'tak of the Horned Lizard Clan required a little more pushing, and Va'kul of the Iron Axe Clan required several hard boots to the teeth from Ya'zar,” Or'kug continues, nodding to Ya'zar who responds with a snort as he stuffs dried leaves into his pipe.(cont)
>>42925807“Alright, what can you tell me about these chieftains then?” you grunt.“Za'gar, I like Za'gar, though for that reason I'd recommend against trusting him too easily. He is quiet, subtle, patient and intelligent, useful traits in an orc, provided you can ensure he doesn't get ideas above his station.Lor'gaz is a little on the blunt side, but despite his posturing when we first met, he agreed quite quickly to our offer. He's obviously a skilled warrior, I can tell, though I've never seen him fight.R'zul is... strange. A sorceror specializing in some strange mixture of battle magic and unarmed combat. He doesn't speak much, and I'm afraid to say that I can't tell you much about him, other than the fact that his clan clearly feared him greatly.Kor'lag is twitchy, his clan bordered the jungles to the west, where things become more abyssal in nature, it has obviously taken its toll on him, mentally, in some ways. His clan seems to be adept at hunting the mutated elves of the jungle to the south, and while I would commend their skill at fighting the abyss, it has obviously wittled their numbers down heavily. Their clan was 15 members, hardly worthy of being called a clan at all.Yo'tak, you might have noticed, he tends to stand out, on account of those horns.”“Horns?”“Yes, it seems that in addition to the orcish gods, his clan has taken to the worship of Atrolavoth, a reptilian god of some kind. His horns are a sign of favor, a boon from his god. I don't know much about this god he worships, but it makes the other clans uncomfortable. I wouldn't have brought him, save that his clan has access to several ripper lizards which could be highly valuable for us, and Yo'tak himself is a skilled warrior.(cont)
>>42925822Finally, Va'kul, he's a hot-headed child, I don't have much more to say than that. If he can be directed appropriately, I'm sure he can inflict suitable violence upon your enemies, but he might need smacking around occasionally to remind him who his chieftain is.”“I see. You've done well, all of you. I plan to launch a raid on the lamia compound to the south, a good way to cement the loyalty of our new clanmates, I think,” you grunt, earning a round of nods from your lieutenants.“Do you want to meet with them now, or was there something else?”>Meet with these former chieftains (any in particular, or all of them)>No, leave it to your lieutenants to deal with them>Other business (write-in)
>>42925837>>Meet with all the former chiefsI don't think we have any other pressing business
>>42925837>>Other business (write-in)Bring up what we've heard happening in the north, discord brewing in Slaggyr's numbers.Might be smart to send a spy if possible.
>>42925837>Meet with these former chieftains (any in particular, or all of them)Our title is now hordemaster
>>42925837>>Meet with these former chieftains (any in particular, or all of them)All
>>42925837>Meet with these former chieftains(all)Talkiing to them trough someone is disrespectful after giving them hope.
>>42925870No it isn't.We don't have a real horde yet, and we've yet to properly use Warlord as well.>>42925837When does a horde start? 500 orcs? 1000?>>42925858>>42925870>>42925871I think maybe we should see R'zul first, on account of him making the others uncomfortable. How is the worship of foreign gods treated by the Orcish ones?
>>42925858>>42925870>>42925871>>42925899What about >>42925864 though? At least bring it up, since the lieutenants are in one place already.
>>42925900We can always single out problem orcs once we've met them all.We should ask our shaman (whose name escapes me at the moment) about the god thing though.
>>42925837>Meet with them all now, with all of the lieutenants here.I'm curious about this Atrolavoth. If Yo'tak also worships the orcish gods, how does Zul'orok Zhar feel about Yo'tak's boons? I know none of the gods care that we let our slaves worship who they like, Ylugri for example, but when it's orcs doing it, do they take an interest?
>>42925911It seems to me our current plan is to move south towards the city states, raiding as we go.Slaggyr is a dick but not a particularly pressing threat at the moment and nor does he have anything we really want.
>>42925941>and nor does he have anything we really want.He has his head.Which we must present to the femdragon to orcduce her with.
>>42925941That's not the plan at all, just something Yselt brought up as a possibility. We still need to deal with Slaggyr, because he's a vengeful little bitch and has a cannibal priest on his side.Plus, perfectly nice war to bring a clan together and establish Ur as the glorious chief who slew a dragon and ate his heart.
>>42925941He has his head, and Kasimir's third daughter. We want both of those.
>>42925941He has plenty of humans under his control, as well as plenty of magical artifacts, and Aurora and Inka's sister.
Okay, stepping out for an hour or so. Will begin writing when I return. Feel free to continue plotting in the meantime.
>>42925837Bring up >>42925864
>>42925974>>42925966>>42925963>>42925961Well clearly I was wrong. It just seemed to me that Slaggyr was not high on our list. We moved south away from him and began raiding the jungle. We have plans to push further into said jungle and have hired an adventurer to provide information and the like about the southern human cities. Our whole goal was slaves, land and revenge. Slaggyr gets us one of those while costing us a lot of orcs.
>>42926009Slaggyr also gets us land and slaves, in case you couldn't tell. And a good war is worth the loss of a couple orcs, provided we come out on top. It's what orcs do!We should just train our orcs a bit more, get better archers and shit, etc.
>>42926009We'll still need to be prepared for his eventual backstab on our holdings, though, even if we do take the city-states by storm. Dragons hold centuries-long grudges, after all.>>42925837>Meet with Yo'tak, R'zul, and Va'kul. The first two because they are interesting and bring something new to the clan that may be of value, the last one because he seems entertaining. And, if he really does need to be smacked around a little bit, best to get it out of the way early.
>>42926042He gets us slaves. By land I meant the orcish kingdom which we lost and want to reclaim.
>>42926057The jungle wasn't part of the orcish kingdom either, you know.
>>42926066And neither are the southern human cities but we have to get through the wall which means going south.
>>42926083We could break down the wall. Or go beneath it through the underground river in the north.
I guess it all depends on how we want to play this, right? We could move south in force and go around the wall, putting it between us and Slaagyr who, as an earth dragon, presumably cannot fly. Then we have a nice barrier to hide behind while we figure out how to bring Slaagyr down. But something tells me the seduce DC on Xipil is going to be lowered considerably if we bring her Slaagyr's head.I personally vote for dragon-pussy, but I'll be the first to admit that I'm thinking with my dick instead of my head on this one.
>>42926091>break down the wallWith what?We were heading south, around the wall because it was a sure thing. We don't even know if it is still guarded but marching our whole clan there to die was retarded and so we looked south.
>>42926127I got no problem killing Slaggyr and getting dragon-pussy. Should be fun.I just thought we were going south first as most of our actions have made more sense with that as our goal.
>>42926132With orcish might. We weren't marching our clan south. We headed south to the edge of the jungle because it would more easily support our growing numbers. We knew that we could eventually send raids around the wall, but that's a long ways off since we'd have to fight through everything on the way there, and only an option.I was personally planning to use the new camp as a place to gather our strength, gather mroe orcs, and get ready to launch a counterattack against Slaggyr. If we plan to do that though, we should send some orcs north to our old camp to have them start expanding it and serving as a guard that could notify us of a northern attack. In fact, going north through the underground river is faster.>>42926127I still don't see why you think with everything in the jungle is going to be easier to deal with than Slaggyr.
>>42926201Because one involves fighting a dragon and his personal army and the other involves just marching through hostile terrain?
>>42926231You forgot that the mentioned hostile terrain includes a dragon and her personal army of magic casters.
>>42926256Also a giant magical snake that isn't the same thing as the dragon no matter how similar they sound. Also fey chimpanzees and were-panthers.
>>42926256I did say hostile. But there is a difference between actively attempting to avoid a dragon and their personal army and marching up and challenging them.It ain't going to be asy but it is clearly less actively dangerous.
>>42926288>implying anons won't vote to march up and challenge Xipil for that sweet, sweet draconic bootyI also wasn't planning to just go to Slaggyr's front door and demand a fight, I want to go through the underground river to its source and attack from the inside while part of our clan keeps most of Slaggyr's forces occupied in the southern part of the mountains.
lets have our new lutenents (however its spelt) prove themselves AND bond with us by intercepting our assasians ? 2birds
>>42926528Eh, those can probably be dealt with more simply.Have some loyal slaves(elves) work outside of the camp so that they can notify us when the adventurers arrive, have archers set up to pick some off at a distance if we tell them to.Their leader is a righteous little shit so he'll probably want a duel, one which we will agree to and wipe the floor with him, and have our orcs grab the rest meanwhile.
Back.So you want to bring up the situation with Slaagyr, then meet the new guys, yes?Writing.
>>42926360I'm cool with that.If it came to a vote, as long as we actually have a plan, I'd vote to kill Slaggyr first.I just thought the consensus during the relocation south and timeskip was to deal with Slaggyr much later.
>>42926528They come for a chieftain and get a fistful of them, i like itIf we do that we might need to give up one of the women though
Considering the elf that might have had family in the enclaves, we should ask Za'ria to look around for the family.>Cuckwizard is his father
>>42926605We might have to give one up anyway, unless we deal with all of them alone.Might be okay to have Dru'ak have the centaur from a eugenics standpoint.I wonder what race the archer is, because while the centaur is likely much more exotic, the archer has NTR/cuckolding potential.I don't know, depends, really.
Are reptilian gos related to dragons ? cos that horned orc might be adverse in our little dragon pussy quest
>>42926528I vote for my own suggestion
>>42926648Depends on the centaur Dru likes shapely Milfs, Zo'ruk likes em buff
“I'll meet them. First though I have some news about our old friend in the mountains,” you frown, which quickly draws the attention of your lieutenants.“What's that miserable dragon up to now?” Koz'rak snarls, sounds like he's still holding a grudge over being Slaagyr's unwitting spy.“I ran into some half-starved humans fleeing his lands. Seems there's some conflict between his followers. Some of the humans don't appreciate all the favor he's been giving to that cannibal priest and his cult.”“Sounds like good news. If it turns into civil war, it'll be the perfect time to strike,” Ya'zada growls.“I doubt it'll reach that stage. My guess'd be Slaagyr coming down off his mountain to eat one of the ringleaders of the humans opposing Joachim,” Zo'rok shrugs.“Then perhaps we should offer the humans an alternative choice,” Or'kug suggests.“You want to ally with humans?” Ya'zada frowns, nose wrinkling with disgust.“The great Bra'kur agrees, humans are spineless creatures, no doubt they would sell us out to Slaagyr the moment the dragon so much as looked at them.”“A temporary alliance of convenience to free themselves from Slaagyr's control. After they are free... well, I trust in our chieftain to decide how much of our agreement we have to honor at that stage,” Or'kug continues, giving a thin, humorless smile.“What do you think is the possibility of sending spies up north to make contact with these humans?” you ask, resting your chin on your fist as you consider your options.“Orcs would stand out near to Slaagyr's lands, you just know he's looking out for us, and most of our human slaves are too incompetent to do it alone. Perhaps if we sent a few orcs specialized in such things north with some slaves, after the slaves have undergone proper instruction... It's a risk though,” Zo'rok frowns, tapping a finger on the armrest of his chair.>Make the preparations>Forget it then
>>42926648Claim the centaure for us. FIll be a long time before we find another if she's realy that far from home. Also make sure the lizard guy won't like freakout when we fight and nail dragons.

“Make the preparations. Even if we don't send them, it would be good to have some orcs and slaves trained for situations like this in the future,” you grunt.“I'll speak with Za'ria about picking out some potential slaves,” Or'kug nods.“Good, then I suppose it's time to meet the new members of our clan, bring them in,” you grunt.Ya'zada picks herself up from her chair, heading out to gather them up, and soon you find a motley collection of orcs filtering through the door of your meeting hall. You glance across the group, quickly spotting Yo'tak by the horns jutting from his forehead, and you would guess that the hulking, bare-chested orc with his hands tattooed black is R'zul of the Blackfist Clan.“Chieftain, it's an honor to meet you,” hisses one of them, his voice barely more than a whisper, most likely due to the nasty mess of scar tissues across his throat. A necklace of dark, misshappen, pointed ears hang on a string around his neck, which means that this is most likely the Elfkiller's chieftain, Kor'lag, who is now fixing you with a flat, unblinking stare.>Write-in anything in particular you wish to ask or tell the gathered ex-chieftains

“I am Ur'shal, Master of the Wastes, Warlord of the Stonetusk Clan, a clan you are all now a part of. I'll make this simple, follow me, make yourself useful to this clan, and I'll see to it that you all get a shot at glory. You'll get fights, slaves, and a chance to spill the blood of those beyond the wall who think we're lost to history. If any of you have any problems with each other, forget it, you are all Stonetusks now, and I expect you to act like it. Any of you have a problem with following me, say it now, it's been a long day, and I've not killed anything for a while.”The group stay silent. You spot one, a large orc with some angry bruises across his face, most likely Va'kul, opening his mouth to say something, but apparently thinking better of it.“Good. To celebrate your arrival to my clan, we will be striking at a lamia compound in the jungle soon. In the meantime, you can set up on the north side of the camp until my witches expand the fortifications. Do not touch any of the personal slaves, but you are welcome to the communal ones. We set out south tonight.”Looks like the mention of slavegirls did a lot to lighten the mood of some of the more uneasy members of your audience. Only Kor'lag's blank stare and R'zul's stony frown remain unmoving.“Yo'tak, Kor'lag, Za'gar and R'zul, I have more to discuss with you. Va'kul and Lor'gaz, enjoy yourselves, and prepare for the raid.”(cont)
>>42927532As soon as Ur brings the saddle around it cause her to drip like a faucet
>>42927668Va'kul, despite his sullen expression, seems to have perked up considerably at the mention of communal slaves. You suppose you can understand that, if he's been stuck out in the deep wastes. The hulking Lor'gaz gives a nod of his head as Va'kul speeds out to track down the aforementioned slaves.“Me and my people... apologies, your people, are honored to be here chieftain. I will see that you do not regret this,” he rumbles, turning and following Va'kul out.>Ask Yo'tak about his god>Ask R'zul about his magic and fighting style>Ask Kor'lag about fighting Abyssal things>Ask Za'gar about... >>42928508At present, none of them are lieutenants unless you choose to make them lieutenants. Of course, many of the orcs in their clans are still going to look at them as authority figures, even if it's no longer official.
>>42928536I see, I guess this should be considered at a later date, till we know them a little better.

“Yo'tak,” you grunt, turning to the horned orc, who steps forward from the group. Aside from the obvious horns, you notice that that is not the only sign of his reptile-god's favor. The tall orc's pupils are thin black slits amidst mottled yellow and orange.“I believe that I can guess your question, Chieftain,” Yo'tak replies, nodding slowly.“My clan has worshipped Atrolavoth for many generations, since before even the orcish kingdom. While Atrolavoth is no orcish god, my faith and the faith of the Horned Lizards to Atrolavoth does not diminish our dedication to the great gods.”“Your reptile god will not oppose our conquests then?” you grunt, watching the orc.“Unless you wish to begin the wholesale massacre of lizards and snakes, no.”“Depends, does that include me harming lamia or dragons?”“No. While some Lamia outside of their degenerate dragon cults do follow Atrolavoth, he holds no particular affinity for the snakefolk. As for dragons, they are filth who hold themselves as being above the divine, I will shed no tears over dead dragons.”Well, that answers that. Of course whether you can take everything Yo'tak says at face value is another thing, but it's good to know he won't be going on a murderous rampage anytime soon.“Good. R'zul?” you continue, turning to the tattooed orc.“Yes, chieftain?” he rumbles, features barely moving on his stony face.“Tell me more about the Blackfists' fighting style.”R'zul nods, raising one black-stained hand, turning it in front of him, the tattoo covering every inch of skin to halfway down his forearms.“The Blackfist Clan originated amongst a mercenary company in the employ of the Jadites many years ago. We mix orcish unarmed styles with certain Jadite striking styles, along with sorcerous magics focused on wholeness of the body.”(cont)
>>42928661“Sounds like a waste of time,” Kor'lag whispers, R'zul turning slowly to regard the scarred orc, the joints of his black-stained hands popping as he stretches out his fingers, Kor'lag's hand drifting down to the chopping blade at his side.“Enough, Kor'lag, do not interrupt again,” you growl.“My apologies, chieftain,” Kor'lag hisses, bowing his head, as the two orcs relax. Seems both of these two are a little hotheaded, you'll have to have your lieutenants keep an eye on them to ensure they don't kill anyone.“Unfortunately, of the survivors of my clan, few have the requisite aptitude for magic to fully develop their abilities. Most of our sorcerors died while fighting the humans at Olkarg.”You vaguely recall Ku'zag mentioning Olkarg as a crushing defeat for the orcish kingdom. The orcish forces funnelled into a killing field by some human general's strategy, combined with the foolishness of the orcish warleader.“Perhaps as the clan grows, R'zul, we will find others who can learn your methods,” you nod, turning next to Kor'lag.“Kor'lag, I am told that your clan has much experience fighting with abyssal horrors?”“We occasionally fought with the mutants and horrors of the west, but most of our conflicts were with the abyssal elves to the south of our territory. We have shed much abyssal blood in the cursed jungle,” Kor'lag whispers, prodding idly at his necklace of ears.“We have had many conflicts with abyssals, and I expect there are more to come. You and your clanmates' experience will be valuable,” you nod.(cont)
>>42928682“Za'gar,” you grunt, turning to the last of the four orcs.“Yes, chieftain?” the smaller orc asks, stepping forward.“Tell me of your ambitions,” you grunt, watching the orc closely. He cracks a slight smile at your question, rubbing two fingers across his jaw.“I doubt my ambitions are much different from most orcs. I want to strike fear into the hearts of our enemies, and I want to fuck their women. Were you hoping for something more grand, chieftain?”You snort, shrugging your shoulders. “I suppose not. That was all, you can all go. If you have questions, my lieutenants can help you get used to life here.”The four orcs filter out one by one, leaving you once again with your lieutenants.“Bit early to get a feel for them, I suppose. What do you want to do about their clans? Split them up, or leave them as they are for now?” Zo'rok asks, smirking.>Split them up into mixed packs>Leave them be for now

“Start splitting them up, make sure some of our older members are mixed in to help smooth the transition.”“Sure thing, Ur,” Zo'rok grins, rising from his seat and heading out.“The rest of you make the preparations for our raid. It'll be a large force this time, larger than we've ever raided with, I don't want any mistakes,” you grunt, your lieutenants splitting up to go get everything ready, leaving you alone in the meeting hall. You still have half a day before you need to get going, if you have anything you wish to do in the meantime, now would be the time.>Skip to tonight>Do something else first (write-in)

While you have some time to kill, you remember one piece of outstanding business. The shifter you took captive all that time ago, still prowling in her cell and proving to be distinctly unhelpful even after all this time.Raka pads up next to you as you step out into the camp, clawing at the stony ground eagerly. You don't know how he knew you were about to call him, but you'll just put it down to one of those fey things. The camp is abuzz with activity, mainly around the slave pens, hardly a surprise since you have eight new clans of sexually frustrated orcs, many of whom have never seen seen half the races of females you have on offer. The shifter sits off in a small cell to one side of the slave pens, Ul'kaza leading you over to her. The shifter lies in panther form, tail flicking idly, one eye cracking open as you approach, a low growl rumbling in her throat. Seems she's still holding a grudge.>Give her a choice, either she deals with us, or she deals with Raka>She's had plenty of time to play along, introduce her to Raka, then offer her the choice

>>42931062Her mood is improving, and while she still has the occasional moody bouts, they're far fewer than before. You suspect that they'll never go away entirely, and she's just that sort of person, but the rest of the time she's in a far better mood, and has started actively seeking Ur's attention.
>>42931119What is Lokasi's ideal sleeping position? Sleeping with Ur hilted inside her, or sleeping with a face full of Ur's crotch?Do gods sometimes send dreams to warn orcs? Or'kaz didn't turn out to be a priest, did he?
>>42931119How would she feel about accompanying us on the raid.
>>42931119When can we expect GKQ?pastebins when
>>42931119Has kuzag looked at ink as kid yet?
>>42931219>What is Lokasi's ideal sleeping position? Sleeping with Ur hilted inside her, or sleeping with a face full of Ur's crotch? The second one.>Do gods sometimes send dreams to warn orcs?Sure do.>Or'kaz didn't turn out to be a priest, did he?It doesn't look like it. Though his experience has made him turn his life around, he's being very productive as a smith these days.>>42931224She'd like that.>>42931235Dunno, soon.>>42931239He has. You'll hear about that either at the beginning of next thread, or after the raid, depending on whether I remember it when I start...
>>42931259So let's start next thread with talking to Ku'zag, then, to discuss the whole Inka thing, and also the lizard god, other such things, and maybe have fun with Aza'ra.Ku'zag wouldn't have a problem with Ur knocking up his old friend, right?
>>42931290>Ku'zag wouldn't have a problem with Ur knocking up his old friend, right? Not even remotely, he was never interested in Aza'ra in that way.
>>42931320Chances of us getting a feyshifterelf hybrid?Would we treat it as a beast of war or a slave?
>>42931357Guess you'll have to wait and see, since Ur has no idea what such a thing would be like.
>>42931357It'd probably be an elf with feylike qualities, with the ability to shift. So probably both.I'm not sure how I feel about the idea of a union of Ur's and Raka's blood. The answer is probably "uncomfortable" though.
>>42931320Was Aza'ra in lesbians with Ku'zag's sis, or just in friendship? Is Sho'ka the most bisexual orc in the harem? Is she the most bisexual orc we know beside Za'ria? How bi is K'zala, is she "will do it for Ur but not that interested outside of it", or did her time as the previous chief's mate make her more receptive to lesbianism? What does K'zala do with her whelps? Does she someimes watch her kid try to escape the pen? Will Za'ria participate in the raid?
>>42931408Or a more elvish raka that can turn into a panther.
Why is it that Raka picked up the sexual part of Ur to resemble him? did Ur have the most favor with Y'zagya Zoka at the time or something?
>>42931465>Was Aza'ra in lesbians with Ku'zag's sis, or just in friendship? They did fool around occasionally, though Aza'ra and Ku'zag's sister still only considered that part of their friendship.>Is Sho'ka the most bisexual orc in the harem?Seems that way, not that you've ever seen K'zala turn down such things either.>Is she the most bisexual orc we know beside Za'ria?Yup.>How bi is K'zala, is she "will do it for Ur but not that interested outside of it", or did her time as the previous chief's mate make her more receptive to lesbianism?K'zala seems to have absolutely no problems getting it on with other women.>What does K'zala do with her whelps? She doesn't pamper them the way that Aleida does, since K'zala is an orc, but she does spend a fair amount of time watching them, which she seems to enjoy.>Does she someimes watch her kid try to escape the pen?Yes, you get the feeling she's silently cheering on the whelp's efforts.>Will Za'ria participate in the raid?If you specifically ask for her, she'd intended to remain behind to watch the slaves though.>>42931509Raka has picked up on other facets of Ur's behavior too, they just tend to be less obvious in his day to day life. For one thing he is violently protective of Ur's harem.
Okay, I'm going to head off now. Thank you all once again for taking part, and I'll see you all next thread for the raid.
>>42931596Thanks for the thread mate.
