Previous thread>>39283739The Minotaurs and Humans have triumphed over the Eldritch armies of Guth and his stone Colossus. The traitor was slain by our great Ahdrag, who promptly passed to join the ancestors. The Age of Ahdrag is over, and so the Age of Brakla has begun! There is much to do. The Colossus must be looted, the gate repaired, and even more awaits!>Gentlemen, your people call for you.

>>39304294>StatsI didn't update them, seeing as how we spent a majority of our last turn fighting off the Elder God's servants.>Rolls>A1: Looting>54: Average! The miners, seeing how a massive pile of rock just came crashing down on their doorstep, eagerly take to hammering away at the Colossus's corpse. Unfortunately, the stone is proving harder than normal to break with the picks, and little progress can be made.>A2: Gate>89: Great success!Seeing the rather obvious problem with having a shattered gate leading right into the capital, Brakla orders the Geomancers to rebuild it. They do so quick as a flash, and a new, much stronger, gate house is soon erected.>Strong gate house built!>R1: Spells>96+5=101: RNGesus be blessed. The Aeromancers, feeling like they could have done more to help in the previous battle, practice day and night with their spells. Progress is made, surprisingly enough, and soon a new, much more destructive spell is created. They call it a "Tornado">Tornado spell invented!

With this thought in mind, he sends out a scouting party to find any remotely hospitable land in the wastes. They return a few days later, with everyone surprisingly alive! Speaking of vast stretches of water as far as the eye can see, with massive chunks of ice drifting endlessly, it appears they've found what Brakla was looking for.>Coastline discovered!>A4: Militia>84: Great success!Brakla, William, hell, everyone in the Militia saw what horrid monstrocities were ready to consume them and all they knew. The people, seeing how close they could have come to extinction, soon swarm to fill the ranks of the Militia.>+100 to Militia forces!>R2: Mining upgrade>62: Success!Frustrated by the lack of progress, the miners begin to think of unorthodox ways of breaking into the massive corpse outside. Soon enough, one gets the bright idea to tip his iron pick with a bit of Sleep. Striking the rock full force, it shatters the rock, leaving any ore inside completely exposed!>You can now mine the Colossus corpse!>Sleep-tipped tools invented!>>39304708I agree with Shamed

Soon a regular pick starts to seem more viable as a solution, as the interior of the Colossus is far softer than the outer shell.>A2: trade>40: Borderline average! The deal you worked out earlier (Beer for Food) is perfect, though the humans begin to express an interest in your Hyper-sheep. Figuring no harm could be done with innocent trading, you ask if they could trade some of their "Highland Steel" as William calls it, for the Hyper-sheep.>You've established another trade deal!>Hyper-sheep for Highland Steel!>Aquired Highland Steel!>Far stronger than your iron tools, even those infused with Sleep, this material glimmers in the sunlight and is highly resistant to breakage.>R1: Wheel>70: Above average success! With proper trade now established, the idea of an improved wheel becomes popular among your people. A feminine voice soon flows through the village.>My children, you need not sacrifice for me.>I love you, even if you are troubled by your instincts. With that, the voice disappears.>A2: Wood>70: Above average success! While scouting for potential trade resources, the Settlers' forward scouts found vast swathes of land covered in massive trees. The Humans try to erect a wooden palisade around bits of the village, but while doing so the Tauren attempt to raise a stone wall. This results in a crushed house, but no major conflicts arise.>A4: Road network>89: Great success! The Settlers left a very visible trail in the tundra, with the sod trampled down under the constant hoofs and feet. Soon traders begin to follow this, as do the humans. Soon an amateur geomancer decides to pave the roads, and now a fine path has been created!>Road network established!>Currently links: Drozen, Grok, and Gorric.>R2: Fishing>24: Below average failure! With the recent, incident, involving a calf and whatever was in the water, everyone is staying as far the fuck away from the beaches as possible.

Some welcome it as a symbol of unity, while others view it as disgracing the bloodline.>Human-Tauren romance established!>You people made me look up female Minotaurs...>A2: Walls>55: Average! The citizens of Gorric come to an agreement. Why do you invade our home?"The figure has what would be a look of confusion on it's face.>"We never meant to, we didn't even know this place was inhabited before we got here. The figure stares at Brakla for a moment, then says,>"Very well."It slinks back into the sea.>>39308595One action remains.
