As the light washes over the ships, they power down, arcs of lightning leaping over their hulls. As the wave of light reaches the Fortress Shield, it tears through it. The interlocking hexagonal plates of light melting backing into the void of space. The light eventually reaches the packs of RauWept, though some time has passed, and it seems the intensity of the light has dimmed. Eventually, the light dies down, perhaps 5 or 10 light minutes out. Silence drapes over the bridge as systems slowly come back to life, one after the other. You’re rather surprised you’re not offline, however, you do feel like your already depleted batteries are struggling to maintain your consciousness.. [1/20] Overcharge
>>38063646“What the fuck did you just do?” Oppenheimer says quietly nearby. A hand covering his face. “Uh… escaping?” You’ve fucked up, it would seem.Checking your HUD, you can see that your ship is back online, apparently the only one nearby. Your power seems to be diminished for now. //Report_Power: /Reactor: 80% 152 Power Units System Power Reactor Power UsageThrusters: 100% 10 unitsWarP DRive : 0% 0 [Requires 20]Factories: 0% 0%Robotic Crew: 14.6% 19 units Drones: 1% [charged] .5 units Shields:100% 50 units Weapons: 100% 10 unitsMedbay: 100% 20 unitsGreen Houses: 100% 25 unitsLifeSupport: 100% 10 units Excess_power : 8 units It’ll take sometime for your power to recover fully. Looking past the viewing port of the bridge, you can the Rauwept fleet seems to be quickly recovering as well. Several ships are already moving towards the vulnerable ships of Trade Hub 7. Perhaps the Fortress Shield protected them from the blast as well. In fact, many of the Rauwept seem to be mostly unaffected by the blast. Strangely, the smaller Corvettes are the ones struggling to come back online. Looking through the mass of motionless ships, you can see that the multitude of force fields protecting the docks seem to be down as well. Atmosphere spews out from the massive openings of the Trade Hub 7. The massive force that is the vacuum of space rips out crates of supplies, small hover ships, and many, many Xenos. A very high number of them seem to be wearing in suits. A few bright lights spark into life among the many Xenos being sucked into space. Slowly, they make their way back to the station. It seems that some of the inhabitants have thrusters of their suits. Many don’t wear suits at all, and after several moments, they succumb to the void. Some of the Xenos curl up against the cold, others skulls are crushed, while the physically weak simply burst into fine red clouds of mist.
>>38063706The silence on your bridge is palpable. Throwing your optics about, you see no sign of the massive Hordeship itself. Perhaps it is lurking, waiting for the right moment to remove its cloak and attack. “Orders, Andru?” Bishop breaks the silence as more and more Rauwept ships race to reach the helpless ships about Trade Hub 7. You could engage with your weak Missile Deployer, perhaps a screen of nuclear blasts could deter the approaching fleet, though you lack any other sort of weapon. You could try hacking, but you have no way to form a physical link with the Hordeship, as it chooses to not show itself as of yet. You could try to hack one of the many Corvettes and Battleships falling upon you, but you doubt hacking a single ship will prove useful. Staring out into the thousands of panicking life, you can’t help but.. remeber…. Soon the void will take them, or perhaps the battle will. You could help them, but would you help dirty Xenos? Most rationally, you could warp, but you’ll have to pull power from another module to have the right amount of energy. NDL-74 takes a few steps towards you,“Request: Delegate Orders”What shall you do?Choose one>Wait>Pull power, from where? >Engage (Missiles: Ballistic, Nuclear) >Search and Rescue> (What?)>Write in Magazine: Nuclear war heads Bastlitic war heads MissilesPick whall you’ll do, I’ll have you roll for that action, then you’ll have to do a SANITY ROLLAnd we're up

“We wait”. Bishop and NDL-74 stand indifferently, both watching the unfolding scene intently. Oppenheimer reaches into his back, removing a bottle of a richly dark drink. With a pop, he removes the cap on top, “I was saving this for a special occasion, but seeing that death is approaching, now is as good as ever”. With that, the Chimp quickly downs a quarter of the bottle. “Robots…. can’t drinnk anyway” Oppenheimer slumps to the ground, a blissful smile on his face, “good shit”. Ignoring the suddenly intoxicated, you let the ship continue in its uncontrolled spiral. Outside of your ship, the black hulls of the Rauwept descend on the helpless group of ships with a hunger. You watch as the small corvettes are the first to reach Trade Hub 7.From ports directly under the bridge of the sinister craft, white plasma is unleashed in a hellish torrent. The corvettes make quick work of the hulls of many Xeno ships. The white fire rips through the hull of several ships in mere moments, igniting a fierce explosion from several points around you. The corvettes seem unharmed by the explosions, the debris and scrap simply wash over a shield of dim light surround the Rauwept vessels. You watch as Xeno ships tear into Xeno ships. Bodies slowly drift from the hull of the wounds of the Arkship Cheng Ho. So many humans unprepared for the coldness of the void. You begin to type in commands to your terminal, sending commands to the magazine.Could you do something? Could you have saved those bodies on the Mayflower? Robotic arms quickly fit a nuclear warhead onto the steel body of one of your missiles.Human bodies… Human minds. Slaughtered by the damn Xenos. You select a target, a Xeno battleship, with a white hull. Orange streaks across it give it depth. It’s under powered, a helpless Xeno ship. Could you have saved them?
hmm guess I should read the last thread as well. Are we kill or discovered(and therefore shortly kill) yet?
>>38066075We broke something that has never been broken, We are screwed if they id us
>>38066072The bay doors of your magazine spring open, more mechanical arms maneuver the large missile into position. In the distance, you hear voices, calling you, to stop? To fire? Is it your fault? As the darkness starts to encroach on your vision, as your hand hovers over the button to unleash the missile, you remember. You’re not Anrdrew Martin. You are ANDR[u]-113Those are not human bodies, those are not the wrecks of the Arkship Cheng Ho, or the Mayflower. They’re Xenos, you could care less if they died. You snap out of your trance, hands moving hesitantly away from the terminal. Bishop stands nearby, eyeing you and the terminal. “Best to wait some more, my boy, best to wait”Your thoughts a mess, all you can do is nod, falling back into the captains chair. It seems that your movement has gone unnoticed, the Rauwept ships are occupied on ripping apart the ships on the edge of the motionless fleet. Your ship continues a slow, uncontrolled spin Suddenly, the large ship you targeted earlier springs into action. Now that you take a better look on it you, you’d classify it as a cruiser, its design more sleeker and agile than the larger Rauwept battleships. A ring towards it aft houses the majority of its thrusters. Perhaps it is a warp drive. The white cruiser launches a swarm of missiles, the swarm falls upon unsuspecting Rauwept craft, several slip past the shields of the Rauwept, a bright flash signaling an impact. From a distance, a squadron of Rauwept battleships fire large bolts of plasma at the white cruiser, many of the shots go wide, burning through several smaller Xeno craft. The cruiser returns fire with arcs of purple energy, shots also go wide, though the several impact their mark. The purple energy diffusing over the shields of yellow and gold that protect the Rauwept.
>>38066142Well look at it this way: All the witnesses are about to die.
>>38066075WE tried to warp out of the Fortresss shield which takes weeks to break under a siege. WE broke it in a few seconds and with our warp.
>>38066150From the belly of the white cruiser, several shuttles disembark, speeding over to the many drifting civilians that have survived this long. Around you, many other ships come to life. The majority use several thrust to orientate themselves, them hastily warp. Some of the braver ones turn to fight the Rauwept while others trying to rescue the civilians adrift, or to search the wrecks of the more unlucky vessels. As you sit motionless in your own ship, You can see a pair Rauwept corvette make their way towards you. Darting from drifting ship, to drifting ship, they quickly douse them in plasma, delivering a crippling blow, before moving on to the next one. It’s only a matter of time until they reach you. In your HUD, you see that your power system has recovered somewhat at this point. //Report_Power: /Reactor: 90% 171 Power Units System Power Reactor Power UsageThrusters: 100% 10 unitsWarP DRive : 0% 0 [Requires 20]Factories: 0% 0%Robotic Crew: 14.6% 19 units Drones: 1% [charged] .5 units Shields:100% 50 units Weapons: 100% 10 unitsMedbay: 100% 20 unitsGreen Houses: 100% 25 unitsLifeSupport: 100% 10 units Excess_power : 27 units You can now warp without drawing power. You quickly bring up the correct calculations you need for a warp, the star map you’ve recently bought taking the bulk of the work. Using the newly marked location on the map, which you assume is where Bishop sent the corvette, you bring thrusters on, orienting your ship in the right direction; The pair of corvettes start to head directly for you, while you can see several other nearby Rauwept turning their ships to face you.But you’re already gone. Color seems to rip its way into the world, filling your view with bright flashs of light. Then suddenly, space and times opens up to you. A sight so beautiful, everything you know twists and turns. Lights flash by your view. Eternities and eons pass, and suddenly, you’re exactly where you were before you warped. The scene of carnage, battle, and survival is suddenly replaced by a calm blanket of stars. You don’t orbit a planet or a star, you’re in the true darkness of space. “Whadya fuck? Howd ju do that?” Glancing behind you, you see that Oppenheimer is still on the ground, weakly holding his head up with heavy arms. “Told you, I’ve got the fastest ship there is”. You don’t get a response, though a dull thud rings throughout the bridge as the intoxicated Ape collapses to the ground. “Bishop, is this the spot where you sent the corvette?” “I assume so sa’ir! Dreadfully dark though”.typing in a series of commands, you bring your flood lights on. Drifting silently through the void, not more than 200 meters away, the corvette floats silently. As an afterthought, you send the command for the missile launcher to stand down. The larger mechanical manipulators pulling the deadly missile back into your ship. The giant NDL-74 stirs from its motionless watch, “Begin salvage operations?” “”Not yet”. you take a moment to observe the ship. You could salvage it for raw materials, save it for a mission later on, or rip it apart in the pursuit of science.
>>38067258You assume you have time for a salvage of course, your HUD reports that your power has returned to 100% operational efficiency. //Report_Power: /Reactor: 100% 190 Power Units System Power Reactor Power UsageThrusters: 100% 10 unitsWarP DRive : 0% 0 [Requires 20]Factories: 0% 0%Robotic Crew: 14.6% 19 units Drones: 1% [charged] .5 units Shields:100% 50 units Weapons: 100% 10 unitsMedbay: 100% 20 unitsGreen Houses: 100% 25 unitsLifeSupport: 100% 10 units Excess_power : 45.5 unitsYou doubt that anyone was able to track you, much less notice your warp. “We shall begin salvaging operations of the Rauwept corvette. Bishop, gather the NDR units in the hanger, we’ll take the shuttle over to the corvette. NDL-74, bring the Lunar Apogee alongside the corvette. Oppenheimer… you stay there”. Your orders are quickly carried out, Bishop leaves immediately, while NDL takes one of the terminals set into the side of the wall. Oppenheimer remains unconscious on the floor.Several minutes are spent traveling through the white halls of the Lunar Apogee. You quickly arrive at the barracks of the robotic crew. Without fear of being attacked by a group of mentally deranged you take your time activating the NDS units. In short order, 8 additional science bots are standing at attention before you. You spend several moments briefing the NDS units, explaining what the ship is, and what you expect to get from the salvage of the craft. Much like NDS-4 and NDS-12, the NDS units talk between each other of their hypothesis and theories and what they’ll find. When you arrive at the hanger, you see that Bishop has gathered the NDR units, all equipped with the appropriate tools for a salvage operation. NDL enters the hanger a moment later, with NDS-4 and NDS-12, as well as a large array of scientific tools. With mechanical efficiency, the seven NDR units, 10 NDS units, Bishop, NDL, and you self load the shuttle. You think you could hold twice that number in the shuttle, along with the needed gear. You sit yourself in the pilot seat, while Bishop takes the copilot seat besides you.“All crew accounted for, Captain. Prepared for launch”.You send the command to open the bay doors, your view from the cockpit quickly filling with the black of the void. With a thrust, you exit the hangar, with a few corrections, you’re slowly drifting towards the corvette. >>38070071shush child
>>38070110As your controlled drift takes you closer to the corvette, you optics glance over the hull once more. The design is insectoid, strange branches of the hull sleeking off in curved patterns, only to connect further down the ship. The ship looks almost biological to you, with a large head, which flows down to a tail like stern. After what Oppenheimer told you about the Rauwept, you wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t actually made by biological means. Ribs of black hull protect the center, while the long landing gear holding the ship up reminds you of claws. Near the back, a large chunk of black and red material actually floats disconnected from the hull. You guide the ship to the airlock, unexpectedly, your airlock locks onto the strange platted airlock of the Rauwept vessel. In a matter of moments, your crew is tearing down panels and gutting the already empty interior of the ship. The strange liquid seems beyond your understanding, initially your NDS units tried to identify the makeup of the reddish orange fluid, but it seems beyond them. They file a report for new scientific data. You find don’t know where to send the report, so you simply ignore it for now. Reaching a dead end, you tell your NDS units to ignore the fluid for now, and to focus on other points of interest. In exactly 7 hours, 54 minutes, and 12 seconds, you’ve completed salvage operations. Ferrying over the supplies as you gathered them , your hours of work is rewarding. +2700 Metal+ 300 electronicsYou found very little electronics, which is both disappointing and mysterious. Perhaps the fluid which circulates throughout the Rauwept vessel takes the place of an electronics system, you sadly do not know.
>>38070199You found very little electronics, which is both disappointing and mysterious. Perhaps the fluid which circulates throughout the Rauwept vessel takes the place of an electronics system, you sadly do not know. While your NDR units were ripping apart the floor of the corvette, they found the a room housing what you assume is the reactor. A large metallic ball held up by invisible forces provides power for the vessel. Your NDS units report that it provides a massive amount of energy which dwarfs your own power supply. The NDS units inform you that they could attempt to remove it, though they might break it in the process. They could study the reactor as it is, but they might also break it in the process. Another good find is the plasma weapon located near the bridge of the corvette. This was easily removed by your NDR units. Much like the Rauwept plasma launcher you have, it unleashes bolts of plasma by unknown means. You could equip it to your own vessel, but it would be tempting to reverse engineer it. Though you might destroy the plasma weapon in the process, the ability the mass produce such weapons would be a vast improvement to your current ship based weapons. You couldn’t find a shield generator of any sorts, though you find it odd, perhaps it was removed to make room for the mysterious mission this particular ship was sent on.As you suspected, the warp drive was the floating portion of the ship, held in place by some form of anti-gravity generator, much like the power reactor. Sadly, you damage any of the anti-gravity generators you try to salavage.

As your NDR units finish loading the last bits of scrap into the shuttle, you try to decide what to do about the Rauwept reactor. It would be useful to have such a powerful reactor in your own ship, but being able to produce such a technology would also be useful. With most of the supplies ferryed back to the Lunar Apogee, you have the ship move a safe distance from the corvette. You don’t want to lose everything because a mistake was made while reverse engineering the reactor. You stay behind with the shuttle, incase you have to evacuate the NDS units. You sit in the cockpit of the shuttle while you listen to the reports over the radio. “NDS-4 to ANDR[u]-113. We are removing the reactor from the containment field”.You move over to the intercom of the ship, “ANDR[u]-113 to NDS-4, are you clear to continue dismantling the reactor”.“Roger ANDR[u]-113. The reactor core is maintaining stability. It is a rather fascinating device. NDS-6 confirms that the source of power is nuclear fusion. Much like their weapons, plasma is the driving force here. NDS-8 confirms that the spherical design of the reactor is because is because it is a spheromak. The self containing magnetic field is assisted by the design of the shape. “ Over the radio, you can hear a large amount of power tools being used.“We are trying to determine how helicity is injected into the reactor. The Rauwept seem to be using these anti-gravitational generators to help contribute to the maintenance of the plasma. These are of course, very delicate, as we observed when removing the warpdrive. I am now -Oh my”.The radio connection suddenly cuts off. “Report, NDS-4, what is your situation? Report any NDS unit, what is your situation?” Only silence greets you. Several moments pass in tense silence. A minute passes. You start to wonder if you should leave or go. As you contemplate abandoning all of your NDS units, all 10 suddenly rush in through the bay doors of the shuttle, into the the crew compartment of the shuttle.“Yes, hello ANDR[u]-113. We seem to have made a mistake. Please depart immediately”.
>>38071619You don’t really question the NDS units, they seem to be in a rather panicked state, and they were working on a fusion reactor not more than a minute earlier. You quickly detach from the Rauwept vessel, with full thrust back to the Lunar Apogee. after perhaps 17 minutes of travel you start to calm down, and NDS-4 enters the cockpit. “Apologies for the radio silence, ANDR[u]-113. You see, after several calculations, the NDS units concluded that there was a 87.5% probability that you would leave without us”. Your turn away from your flight instruments to look at the NDS unit. Its hands are clasped firmly behind its back, it’s optics not looking directly at you. “Leave without you? What are you talk-” Alarms start to go off across the cockpit, you try to find the problem as fast as possible. It seems that a nuclear explosion was detected. Your two rear facing cameras only show you a pure white image. Rewinding the video feed, you as that the Rauwept corvette sits motionless in space, slowly, light starts to tear its way out from the center. The plasma arcs across the hull of the ship, following strange circular patterns. The video ends as the ship explodes in a brilliance of light. “We were able to gather a significant amount of knowledge on the reactor, sadly, the device was too unstable and unknown for us to operate on without the lost of it. The NDS units apologize for the mistake, ANDR[u]-113”. What shall you say to the NDS unit? >Scold. The lost of the reactor can not be accepted. >Neutral, the data gained is useful, however, the loss of the reactor is unfortunate>Praise, any data is useful data>Write in[+10% on Nuclear Fusion!]

>>38071652As you start to process what to say to NDS-4, and the NDS units in general, you can’t help to think about your next move. You have significantly more supplies than you did when you reached Trade Hub 7. You’ve grown your crew, acquired a significant amount of credits, and lead to the downfall of Trade Hub 7. You might be a wanted machine after the battle of Trade Hub 7.Then again, perhaps no one will be able to identify you as the cause of the Warp Pulse. The Rauwept are also another concern. You would say that they are your enemies, though you consider most other Xenos your enemies. They are definitely a hostile faction that will seek to end you. Thankfully, they don’t know about your ship the Lunar Apogee, as your confrontation with them was on the now destroyed corvette. What is your next step?>Speak to someone, who? >Build units, what? >Write in - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I’m gonna grab some food, while I do that, you should decide on what your next big step is>>38070673That's essentially how it works

>>38074615To them yes. We got to play it low profile until we can get a supply base of our own. Also after current research is down we need missile launchers stat.
>>38074615Rather than rouge AIs, I would rather go with the collecting stuff for our hidden master background. That would explain why we have some more ancient stuff like our guns.
>>38074743I like that. A mysterious powerful army encroaching on this world. We are their scouts.
“We all make mistakes, NDS-4. While yes, it is a shame that the reactor was destroyed, I am glad that we all survived this ordeal. Next time however, please give me or any other extraction team ample amount of warning if a nuclear explosion is about to occur”.“Of course, the NDS units had calculated that there was a sufficient amount of time to escape, our only concern was panic”.The NDS bot speaks with a clear and crisp tone. You continue to speak as you return your attention to your flight instruments, “Was the data you retrieve valuable?” “Yes! Nuclear Fusion has always eluded the bright minds of Earth, the data we retrieved will set us on the right path. The NDS team is quite…. excited to begin the project. Thank you, ANDR[u]-113”.With that, the machine turns promptly on its heels and marches back to the crew compartment. You spend another half hour guiding the shuttle back to the Lunar Apogee. When you dock, in the hanger of your ship, you see a torrent of activity going on. NDR units run across the deck, sorting piles of metal and boxes of electronics. The large plasma weapon is loaded up onto a small fork lift. NDL lifting the massive weapon with the assistance of several NDR units. Already, NDS units hurry over to the Rauwept warp drive. You make your way through the busy deck, narrowly avoiding Bishop as he hustles up the loading ramp of the shuttle, presumably to perform maintenance. You leave the industrial section of the ship, the roar of noise slowly dying down as you approach the bridge. When the metal doors slide open, you see Oppenheimer reclined in one of the side chairs, looking out into the blackness of space. The Ape springs to his feet when he hears the bridge doors open. “Hey chief! Seems you got us out of that mess alright. Bishop told me you just finished salvaging that Rauwept corvette?”
>>38075325You talk as you make your way over to the captain’s chair. “Indeed we have, Oppenheimer. I’m surprised to see you on your feet after the amount of intoxicating drink you’ve consumed”.The Ape scratches the bluish skin atop his head, “Yeah me too, but what do ya know? I feel fucking great. Better than I have in ages”. “That is good news to hear, Oppenheimer. I have been meaning to ask you, where do you think we should head next? Our main objective is to rescue any humans we come across, though we have no leads”. “Well, chief, after that shit you pulled at Trade Hub 7, I’d say it best we laid low for a while”. The Ape gives a raspy chuckle as he resettles himself into the chair. “There are a couple of places we could hit up. There’s Aurora. It’s a freeport, owned by a coalition of species. Not too bad, but it’s planetside. I know a lot of pilots you don’t like to even think about stepping foot on a planet. Uh, what else, Ferocity, a station orbiting about a forming T Tauri star”. The Ape lets the head scratching his head flop to the ground, “Not much else, I mean, sometimes, a sort of market gets sets up around Waypoint, large caravans deciding to sell their wares, but not much else I can think of, chief. When I say that, I mean for us to go to now”.You don’t know what exactly you’re looking for. Zirk said that traders and pilot are a good way to find out the lesser known news of the galaxy, so Aurora isn’t the best place for that search. Then again, it could prove to be the most protected, a world with a real government. Ferocity sounds like a port station just like Trade Hub 7, it’s always an option.Checking out the caravans seems like a decent way to meet the more travelled folk, but it also sounds like the least protected area.
>>38075375You could always just...jump… find a random set of coordinates, and hope you don’t die somehow. It sounds almost…insane. However, fate has been helping you along so far. What shall you do?>Go to Aurora>Go to Ferocity>Go to the nearest waypoint - - - - - - - - - - - - So the way research works is this. You can have as many projects as you want. Adding NDS units to a project does speed it up, but there a limit. At 15 NDS units a project, it starts to become oversaturated and the benefits are less for adding more NDS units. Your current projects are : Energy PistolDifficulty: MediumRequirements: Energy PistolFound in the lunar wreck, preserved by a stasis field. This weapon emits a high energy beam of unknown origin and nature. You have observed the weapon unleashing an explosive blast, and other times you have seen it shoot straight through matter, but organic and not. It has an odd design, both Human and Xeno. Researching this project may consume the weapon.10 NDS units are working on these projects. Would you like to add projects or allocate NDS units to different projects?
>>38075408>>Go to FerocitySplit NDS between the pistol, the warp drive and the missile launchers. We need reliable anti-ship measures.4 for each medium 2 for the easy.
>>38075408Can we ask him, if there are any places for AIs to meet?
>>38075471Ais are either leashed or annihilated anon. Them knowing we're an Ai would get us hunted even more.
>>38075539He knows we are an AI, just wondering if there is a third option that has a place where we wouldn't get killed the second we are discovered.
>>38075408The human ship that escaped could be anywhere in the galaxy by now right? given the one for one rule they've had ample time to even head over to Andromeda. Terraforming seems a lengthy process, what other factors might limit the spread of colonists into this galaxy?>Ferocity>>38075462seconding his research split as well.

>>38076432You fill out a digital report of the list of technologies you want researched, sending the list over to the NDS units without a word. “I guess we’ll try out the waypoint, what’s the worst that can happen? “ All you hear from Oppenheimer is a grunt as he settles into his chair. You pull up the starmap on the bridge screen. Millions of small points blink into existence, each one representing a separate star. A different system. Scattered throughout the nearby area is a collection of point separate from the stars. The waypoints seem to be built exclusively in the part of the Milky Way that the Andromedans are inhabiting. They seem to function as landmarks or reference points for travelers. In less than a minute, you have the coordinates of a nearby waypoint. Waypoint 94-B.Color seems to rip its way into the world, filling your view with bright flashes of light. Then suddenly, space and times opens up to you. A sight so beautiful, everything you know twists and turns. Lights flash by your view. Eternities and eons pass, and suddenly, the black of space seeps into your vision. As Oppenheimer predicted, a small fleet seems to be gathered around a large cylindrical object which you assume is Waypoint 94-B. Opening up communications, several different Xeno voices speak over the filter. Your translator works tirelessly to turn everything into comprehensible language. The majority of the Xenos seems to be trying to sell a variety of goods, each one trying to outcompete the other in price. Several others want to offload passengers heading in different directions, while one voice is advertising a mercenary squadron of ships.
>>38077022It all seems rather … unremarkable, in comparison to the massive Trade Hub 7 and the Rauwept Hordeship. As you take a moment to process the amount of information being thrown around, something catches your paranoid eye. Past the small fleet of ships gathered around the waypoint, you seem something moving. Activating the optical telescope of the Lunar Apogee, you focus it on the mysterious object. A perfect sphere of darkness moves across the canvas of stars, blocking each one out. You can’t be completely certain, but you’d say it’s about 1-10 AUs away from the waypoint. The rest of the ships gathered around the waypoint seem oblivious to the mysterious object. You’re reminded of the light distorting properties of the Rauwept Hordeship, though this is significantly different. What shall you do? >Warp to the object. >Contact a ship, which one: (Mercenary, merchant, passenger ships) >Warp away, you’re too paranoid for this>Write in (forgot muh pic)
