It’s been close to a month and a half since you landed on the Feudal World of Fervious. In that time you’ve defied Khornate convention once more to help set the stage for what’s to come. Simply slaughtering your way across the planet would have brought undue suspicion to your little band of Chaos, so instead you bit your tongue (literally at times) and kept your head down. Mostly.Acerea and Sytili have used their time on-world to completely take over the supply of Styger milk. As the liquid prevents poisoning in a society built upon advancement via murder, it was an obvious vector to spread corruption as far and as quickly as possible. Which is where you come in. Purposefully, the Plague Herald and Zoanthrope removed the protective qualities from the milk. To the planet’s populace, it was as if the balance of power shifted overnight. Suddenly nobles and peasant alike were just as vulnerable to the icy hand of death. This brought about strife and many an assassination. But none of these petty conflicts compared to the massacre you prompted. For you managed to keep one Styger farm uncorrupted save for your own addition of Khornate Blood into the milk. Now not only did the drink save the unwitting from an untimely demise but it also set their blood boiling and yearning for battle. All it took was you limiting the meager supply to the victors of a daily tournament for hell to break lose. Those that won became addicted to the sensation, acting as unknowing Khornate Cultists as they boasted about their combat prowess and the tournament in general. It wasn’t long before the space surrounding your acquired dairy farm became coated in the blood of the fallen.Despite the joy brought to you by seeing blood spilled, it’s time for the next phase of the plan. Or, at least, you need to start spilling some blood yourself before you go insane.Welcome to Khornette Quest.

Like all things 40k, the gauntlet runs from “worshiping the printed word” to “over the top silliness.” Most of the time it’s somewhere in between. Others it swerves hard to one side and/or breaks this model entirely. You’ve been warned in advance.Alternatively, if you’re not at all familiar with canon or want more details on something, just ask!All rolls go against a specified characteristic in the style of Black Crusade. You’ll want to roll under the characteristic value in order to pass the check. The more degrees of success (every multiple of 10 counts as 1), the more awesome of a result. A 1 is a guaranteed success, and a 100 is a guaranteed failure. Best of three rolls when it’s called for, with a 1 or a 100 instantly taking precedence. If multiple characteristics are being rolled for each 1d100 counts for its respective test. Any rolls prior to the call for one and those not linking said post will be ignored. You may burn (i.e. gone forever) 10 infamy to completely reroll a check (i.e. three new 1d100). If you have above 10 infamy, you are allowed a single additional 1d100 roll for any check during a session. Excessive meta/whining/waifu’ing/etc goes to another thread. Blatant Samefaggotry and overly lewd write-ins will be ignored. You may find this 4chanX filter list useful: http://pastebin.com/QxMu8Rrr
You didn’t think it was possible. How could anyone be more dull than the “gladiators” back in the Slayer of Raptor’s Bloodpits? Whether or not it’s the combination of your own advancement and/or time spent here on this backwater world, you’re finally bored to tears. You can’t even let the visual impulses reach your brain anymore lest you claw out your eyes from how pathetic it all is.“Please, Miss Torch, my family is dying! We need your milk, we need...”The voice comes from a speaker off to your right. It’s the only way those humans outside of the farm can contact you. This is by design, of course. You couldn’t afford to keep having an illusion applied every day and constantly patrolling the grounds for would-be Styger-rustlers was getting boring. So you constructed a vast wall and retractable ceiling one night, encasing and hiding the farm away from the outside world. Which is a good thing, seeing as how you’re surrounded on all sides for several miles by shantytowns and crude camps thanks to the Tournament. You yourself haven’t made an appearance at any of the hastily dug blood pits since their inception but they’re still going strong. Once the winners have decided for the day they eagerly crowd about one of your secured “teller windows” to await their bottles of Mad-Styger Milk. (cont)
>>37825166The speaker repeats the message from before, though the human’s tone is a tad more urgent. It wouldn’t be the first time some idiot thought you’d hand out a bottle just because they begged for it. But something about this time causes something to snap inside of you. The anger boils up, causing you to…> Aggressively headpat the Ignitrix doll in the hopes the human will go away (He won’t)> Yell some choice expletives (including daemonic ones) at the beggar until his head explodes (S)> Announce to the surrounding area that all milk for the day will be withheld thanks to this moron. >>37825192We should let him in and use him to vent our frustrations on... sure, he'd probably die just from seeing us, but we can turn him into a fine paste...if not, then a modified 2, announce that today's milk goes to whoever kills his family and brings us their heads...

>>37825192You tap a button on your chair’s control, opening a hidden door next to the man outside. “Enter,” you say, your voice deadly quiet. An audible gasp from onlookers outside meets your ears, followed by the man asking, “I’m… I’m sorry?”“DID I FUCKING STUTTER?” you roar back. The ape gets the hint and runs into the dark, the door slamming shut behind him. It’s not long before he reaches you in your control room, thanks to a little “encouragement” for him to hurry the fuck up. Luckily for him, the back of your chair is towards him. “Um… T-Thank you for seeing me...Ma’am. It’s a real…” He freezes up completely as you spin your chair around. It’s not every day a normal man is greeted with the sight of a Bloodthirster petting a Lady of Change doll with a scowl on her face. So you don’t hold it against him. Much. It’s hard for you to feel anything but contempt at his scrawny form.“So I understand you want some of my famous milk, is that correct?” you ask. “Well too bad for you the only thing I have left is their blood.”It’s a lie, of course. The Styger’s are happily moo’ing in the next building over. But the human before you doesn’t know that. Even in his frozen state his eyes go wide in alarm.“No tongue eh? Typical.” You spin around and dramatically reach for a button. “Well if you have nothing to say that might excuse your insolence perhaps your family can explain. I’ll have them brought here, one by one. And then…”Finally the man finds his tongue. “W-What do you want?! What are you?!”> I am become death. You ignore his groveling, instead opting to rise and pick him up by his head. In vain he tears at your arm as you produce a carton of glowing, red blood and bring it towards his mouth.“You want my elixir? Fine. But you’ll be getting the concentrated glory of it all, untainted by those beasts’ milk.”With that you force feed him the entire carton. The moment you’re done you toss his rapidly mutating body aside and return to your chair. Before your eyes the skinny almost-ratling grows twice in size and musculature. His eyes bulge out of their sockets as he screams in terror and pain. “MY BLOOD. IT’S ON FIRE!” he cries. That means it’s working and that you’re not going to become a Chaos Spawn.” You smirk as you cross your legs and arms. “Though I was sort of looking forward to strangling and tearing you apart if I must be honest. Oh well.”Predictably the Ogryn-sized man takes a swing at you. You block it easily with your tail and proceed to tail-slap him across the face. “Yes, I like it. Harness that rage. Put it to good use in the days to come. But I don’t have time to babysit you through this process so…”You flick a different switch on your armrest. Acerea’s face appears on one of the many screens behind you in short order. “Oh! Hi Cinder~ Who’s your friend?”Nodding at the literally fuming human in front of you, you reply, “Someone who’s going to need a little more guidance on what it means to be a part of the Chaos family than I care to deal with right now. Today’s the day we enter Phase 2, after all.”The Plague Herald brightens at hearing that. “Oh~? Well then I’ll let Kaysis know to begin preparing her ritual. I’m *so* excited to see how her plagues will turn out.” She pauses, then her gaze ever-so subtly shifts to the ape before you. “I’ll send Sytili and one of her thralls over in a shuttle to pick up our new ‘friend.’ Will that work, hun?”“I suppose. But why Sytili too?”Acerea laughs, hand at her mouth. “I’ll let her explain that when she gets there. You’re in for a treat I think.”“Okay…” You shrug and end the vox call. As you do you note that there’s a growing mob outside each of your distribution windows. By the time Sytili’s shuttle starts asking for clearance to land the entire area around your farm is all but a riot. But, since they’re limited to Feudal-level technology, Sytili’s able to land inside your enclosure without issue.(cont)

When the shuttle doors finally open, a seemingly normal, middle-aged woman walks out with a cattle prod. She nods at you then walks over and begins shepherding Ogryn-man into her vessel. But there’s no sign of Sytili.“Sytili?” you call. “What are you…”That’s when a blur leaps from the other side of the shuttle. And even then, the carnage-filled barracks behind you should be more than enough of a clue to get a bigger gun. So off you go to the West based on the map you were given verbally by Smithers. You get turned around a few times and lose a few minutes before reaching the Armory proper. Before leaping out from cover you take note of your surroundings. There’s three large lines leading up to loading docks, where other PDF are tossing out all sorts of weapons as fast as they can: from flamethrowers to krak grenades to Lascannons with a mix of the Fervious-famous katana for good measure. In all you only see a few things that might actually hurt you. And besides, they’re PDF. They’ll probably fire the lascannon the wrong way. While you can’t speak to the truth of such a spell you certainly demolish any such speed records around it. If you moved any faster you’d have to scream “WAAAGGGH” and/or turn yourself purple. Since neither is happening ever you simply resign yourself to be naught but a red blur of death. You slam into the groups of PDF soldiers trying to prepare heavy weapons in the time it takes them to inhale and exhale. So fast are you that they have no time to react to your sudden presence. To any onlookers it must be terrifying to see. One moment their comrades were working as normal and barking orders at one another. The next their heads were rolling from their shoulders as fountains of blood spewed from their barren necks. Naturally, panic erupts.Guardsmen begin firing wildly at nothing and at each other. Between gouts of flame and small explosions you reduce what was a battalion to a fine crimson mist. It’s only once you come to a stop that you take inventory of your kills and time elapsed: three hundred additional skulls, twenty seconds. But since a certain Tyranid deserves to come along you put that thought on hold and begin to search for Sytili. Along the way you do rack up a few more kills, four hundred and forty-eight all said and done by the time you find the Zoan Prime. She’s sitting atop a rather impressive pile of skulls as a few Rippers tear into whatever strips of biomass remain on the bones. As you approach she waves and calls out to you, “Ssssso how many did you get?”“Four Hundred and Forty-Eight,” you reply. “You?”She blinks twice, replying slowly, “Four Hundred and Forty-Ssssseven. Like all Planetary Governors, this one has spared no expense in letting everyone know just how rich and powerful they are in the form of frivolous decor. Castle-like in design, it towers over the shanty-town structures that surround it on all sides. If you had to guess it’s probably the tallest and biggest structure on Fervious aside from the Spaceport. Of note to you and Sytili, the drawbridge is currently up. There’s also several thousand armored vehicles forming a “shield” on this side of the moat. In front of them is an array of PDF infantry in various states, ranging from “just woken up and katana in hand” to “I will live on Cadia one day.” The former far outweighs the latter but it’s still quite a large number of warm bodies to deal with between the two of you.“Ssssso… how do you want to do thisss?” asks Sytili.> Simple.
