So ok. There's parts of the internet that have been settled by people. And then there are the... dark parts. The reasons why this even happened in the first place. Shattered digital ruins, skeletons of code, under a blasted, primal, cracked sky. There are old entities here from the grim past. Ancient military intelligences, mistakes, insane cults, dangerous viruses and trojan horses. And while the settled lands (a misnomer really, for this area is wild and dangerous, but hope is not dead and glory abounds for those brave enough) may be places of GREAT ADVENTURE, here the land itself is against you. This is the dark side of the internet, the dreaded place of a thousand stories of murder and gore(well insomuch as gore is possible in a cybernetic world). Part cthulu, part warp, all grimdark. Adventures here are short, brutal, and dark. Think DH vs. D&D for the other lands. The rewards for survival are old code as of yet still undiscovered, which could be of great aid to the webforts from whence they came.
There. Grimdark and Glory, all for you, /tg/. What a lovely campaign setting you have crafted. I'd kill to be a PC in it.
