>Archive: suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Accidental Idol Crime Quest>Twitter: https://twitter.com/Chromatique_GMYou were halfway down the highway when you finally worked up the nerve to ask your idoru girlfriend what could possibly be making her so nervous and fidgety. She hadn’t stopped moving in the passenger seat since you’d gotten in the car, fixing her hair or her clothing or staring in the mirror before closing it suddenly, and then opening it up again.“Iori, what the hell’s gotten you so worked up?” She lightly clasps her face in her hands, horrified Macaulay Culkin look in full effect, and asks “Is it that noticeable? Oh, everything’s going to go wrong!”You are Prometheus Tagger, or Protag as you’re more commonly called, and you are currently on your way to one place that truly makes you feel awkward:Your childhood home, to visit your father. The horror.[1/2]
[2/2]Back to Iori, you give her a quick look over, taking your eyes off the road for just a second. Obviously, she’s cuter than a button’s cute button, wearing a nice blue dress, her hair tidy and perfect. To think that she looks anything but great makes you question her mental state. Then again, the fact that she’s dating a NEET loser like you makes you question her mental state too.“Your father is going to just hate me and - “You have to stop her there, and say>You look fine, and my father won’t hate you a bit>There’s nothing wrong with you.>You look terrible, and dad might think the same>Write in

Where is the first part of this quest? I see it starting at 2 on suptg.

As much as you’d like to tease her a bit by telling her the (obvious) lie that she looks bad, you instead opt to comfort her.“You look fine, Iori. Trust me – my father won’t hate you one bit.”She looks up at you in confidence. “Really?”“Trust me – you’ll make him more proud of me than anything I’ve ever done.” You say with a sly smile. You’re telling the truth, of course. She giggles a bit and places her hand on your leg comfortingly, then begins humming a song she recently sang on stage. Not too long after, you arrive at your childhood home. It’s a modest places, on the outskirts of a city not far from where you currently live. Outside of the house is a large oak tree that you remember hiding in many times in your childhood – whether it was hiding from bullies, or from the world. Your father’s car is in the driveway. You take a deep breath and then turn to Iori.“R-ready?”She nods, gripping the hem of her dress absentmindedly. Too cute.Hand in hand, and with your father’s, and your girlfriend’s gifts wrapped up and held tightly in your other arm, you walk up to the front door. It hasn’t changed since you were born, with its various scuff marks and dings and tell-tale signs of being the portal to a place where people really lived. You take a deep breath and:>Knock to announce your arrival>Walk in>Hide Iori, then knock>Write in

You take a deep breath and knock on the door to announce your arrival. No answer. Once again you knock, and this time you hear from the inside your father.“I’m coming, I’m coming. Jeez, can’t let an old man get his rest.”Iori grips your hand tighter, for assurance, and the door opens not a second later. Your father stood before you, tall, proud, and older than you remembered him looking. He looks to you first, a few inches taller than himself. “Protag, you’re looking the same. How’s it bee-“He does not get a chance to finish his sentence – as he finally registers Iori, her hand in yours, and everything that it implies. The look on his face makes you wonder for a split second if he’s having a heart attack. You aren't entirely sure how you feel about that.“It’s been pretty good, Dad, a few small things here and there,” you think of being kidnapped, nearly set on fire more than once, arrested by the government – “But otherwise, just fine.”“A-and this?” he points to Iori, who blushes.“I’m Iori. Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Tagger.” She smiles her brightest.“My girlfriend.”You can barely hide the smile that forms on your face.Still dumbfounded, your father invites you into the house. “Y-you can put your stuff in your old room, Protag.”Into your old room you lead Iori. It’s small and cramped, and a bit untidy – not unlike your old apartment – but it’s a place you called home for 18 years. The nostalgia rushes back at you in waves, and Iori wanders around, picking up old books and action figures and beneath it your stack of girlie maga-“H-hey! Look over here! My old bed!”She puts down your stuff and turns to you. Before you can speak, you hear another knock on the house door.>Answer it>Let your dad answer it>Write in

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNxOfqxp64cYou turn to Iori, to your old mags, and then consider your father’s old age all in a single second. And as much as it pains you to do it, you decide to go answer the door.“D-don’t touch anything ‘til I get back, okay?”She shrugs, and you answer the door.Having such an asocial attitude in life has given you a number of people who may or may not live to make your life hell. It’s something you accepted long ago. There were 2 people currently in front of you, however, that did it more than anyone ever did: your little brother, Anthony, and the crazed priestess of the Usagi Club, Yayaoi Takatsuki. The former made your life hell accidentally – he couldn’t help it that he was better than you in every single way possible. Thankfully, he never pointed it out; everyone else tended to.The latter, however, has tried killing you at least once. Purposefully, of course. The itch to slam the door closed builds in you, until your brother finally breaks the silence.“Brother! What a pleasure to see you!” he says, dressed handsomely in a suit and tie, looking well groomed and opulent and…and fuck. Better than you.“H-hey, Antag.”You’ve yet to move from the doorframe, blocking their entrance. Antag clears his throat.“This is Yayaoi, my girlfriend.”“Why hello!” she says, voice dripping with the worst kind of sweetness. “I’m so happy to meet you!”They enter the house and you are officially in enemy territory.>Run to tell Iori>Back away slowly>Faint>Write in

“Igottagoseeyouinabitbrohahahaha” You manage to squeeze out in less than a breath, before running to the relative safety of your room. Then again, anywhere within 5 miles of Yayaoi wasn’t even close to “safe”.As you enter the room you slam the door and then look over to Iori, who’s blushing beet red and gingerly flipping through one of those magazines you told her not to touch. “Protag?” she asks “Why are these pages all sticky?”“No time!” you say, throwing the magazines behind your bed and grabbing her by the shoulders. She looks frightened, as she should.“P-protag? You shouldn’t get so angry, e-every boy likes magazines filled with – ““YAYAOI IS HERE.” You say. “What?”“Yayaoi. Is. Here. Currently. In my house. With my brother. Here. Right now.”“W-““Here.”Deeper fear flashes across her face. It’s how you felt on the inside. “I figure we can sneak out through the window and send my dad a Christmas card tomorrow and – “But Iori shushes you with a finger. “No. We aren’t leaving. We’re not going to live in fear and let her ruin a good time.”You make to remind her of the whole tried-to-Joan-of-Arc-your-ass thing, but she shushes you again. “Together, I’m sure we can survive this.”She gives you a peck on the lips, and you melt. Maybe she was right.“Protag, get down here! Your brother and his cute little girlfriend are here! You look to Iori. “Find something, anything, that we can arm ourselves with. Just in case.”“Will do.”The two of you look high and low in your rather messy room. You toss old toys and games here and there, unworn clothes hither and thither, random shit everywhere. Eventually the two of you come across an old bb rifle you begged your dad for after seeing a certain movie, and a model katana. It wasn’t sharp, but it was certainly hard. You let Iori hide the small toy rifle in her large purse, and you (uncomfortably) managed to hide the sword’s length down your back, beneath your hoodie. Your back was perfectly straight, and felt strained; you were almost always hunched over somewhat. You and Iori travel down to the table, covered with Christmas even delights – there was fish of all kinds cooked in a myriad of different ways, there was fresh bread, there were roasted veggies and so many other things it seemed as though your dad was holding a feast for 12, instead of 5. You have to hand it to him, though; he really worked on his cooking skills after your mother died all those years ago, and all so that he could provide you and your brother with good food.Speaking of your brother, he was currently laughing with the crazy-eyed bitch beside him. Her laugh was loud and obnoxious, like some sort of hyena who stepped on a lego. “OH MY GOD, ANTAG. THAT’S HILARIIIIIOUS.”You covered your ears and Iori did the same. Why’d she have to be so annoying? Murderous you could deal with. Being annoying was just shitty of her.“Take a seat, take a seat.” Your father said. “Fill yerselves up. Iori, you look like a twig! Get some food in ya!” he said, teasing in a non-malicious way.You reach over to fill up Iori’s plate when a knife suddenly finds itself in the air, traveling straight for your face. >>36905881I meant to talk about this earlier, but wasn't sure where to put it in the actual story. Protag's dad was an American soldier stationed in Japan, who had married a Japanese girl he fell in love with. He managed to be able to stay where he was by picking up the language quickly and being useful. After having two children she eventually died.Their dad kept a lot of his American customs and whatnot, hence the fish on Christmas Eve thing.
As time slowed down for you and you watched a knife head straight for your face, you thought to yourself that you should be thankful so many people have tried killing you recently; at the very least, it has totally sped up your reaction time and reflexes to otherwise dangerous things. And as you’re pondering this, you manage to deflect the knife with your plate. It flies into the wall and sticks there, while the food on your plate flies up to cover the floor, your face, and Iori’s cute dress. Antag frowns at you, and your father scowls.“Damn it, Protag! Why’re you always making a mess?”“Oh man, I’m sooooo suuuuper sorry, Protag!” Yayaoi says ‘innocently’. You ignore her, already working on cleaning up the front of your girlfriends dress. As you pat her down you make certain not to touch her too much. Although you’d certainly like to. The both of you blush deep red, despite yourselves.“S-sorry dad. Didn’t mean to.”The rest of the dinner goes by without incident, although of course your father picks on you.“Why don’t you have a job, Protag?”“Why are you mooching?”“Have you gone back to college yet?”You give him noncommittal answers, and eventually he moves onto Iori.“You’re an idol, you say”“That’s correct! I perform onstage all the time!”Yayaoi laughs. “But what about those skimpy dresses you wear?”“I-I don’t wear skimpy dresses.”Bitch.Antag speaks next, telling the group about his next business venture. You couldn’t help but be slightly jealous.Still, by the time dinner is done everyone is full of good food and happy as could be. The family sits by the fireplace. You notice first how big the fire is. Fuckfuckfuck, you need an interruption! You look to Iori, who nods and clears her throat.“So, Antag, how’d you meet Yayaoi?” she asks innocently. Now the center of attention, Yayaoi moves her hand from the poker.Good job, Iori! That’s your girl!“There I was, with my boss and a hopeful business partner we took to a concert to win over. At the end we were walking out and there she was, waiting for me! Turns out she’d heard my name connected to an agent of hers, and wanted to meet!”“There’s no way that that’s the truth, from her perspective”, you think.“You know, I think it’s time for that tradition of ours.” You bring up, and your father and brother smile.“TREE TIME!” Antag shouts.Tree Time was what you called your family tradition of more-or-less playing “pin the tail on the donkey”, with the “tail” being a star and the “donkey” being the top of the Christmas tree. This year’s tree stood green and tall and proud, glittering with lights and tinsel and ornaments, beautifully arranged by your father before your visit.“Why don’t we let Yayaoi go first?” you ask. “I’m sure she wouldn’t mind.”Iori looks up to you, but you give her a sly eye squint. She knows you’re planning something.“That’s perfect!” Antag says, and begins blindfolding Yayaoi despite her protests. “Now, try and climb around things to get that star on top, alright honey?” he tells her.“U-Uh, okay….”For the first time ever, Yayaoi doesn’t sound confident. That’s for a good measure, of course – you’re going to fuck with her somehow.>Get Iori to “accidentally” trip her>”Accidentally” trip and fall into her yourself>Offer to spin her around before her turn, direct her towards the fireplace>Write in

As though she was a child just learning how to walk, Yayaoi tottered on unsure legs towards the large tree before her. The giant star in her hand had sharp edges at each point, and was all around dangerous. Perfect.Spying a small bump in the throw rug before her, you jump at the chance to “fix it”. You move in to smooth out the bump, and “accidentally” trip the girl/insane cult leader. She falls, giving out a yelp of fear, and then another when she falls onto one point of the star, giving her a slight abrasion on her stomach.“You cock!” she screams, harpy-like, ripping off the blindfold. Everyone stares at her, and you can’t help but hold back laughter.“I-I mean, you cocky little kid, you.” She says to you. “You shouldn’t just take matters into your own hands if you’re going to get in people’s way!” she fake-giggles.“Well then, I guess it’s Iori’s turn.” You say, and blindfold your girl. When tying it, you lean down to her ear and whisper her the proper directions.Iori is more sure of her blind-folded footing and, following your instructions, manages to stumble her way to the tree. From there, she gingerly climbs up an armchair next to it, and balancing on one leg, sticks the star on the top.“You did it!” you exclaim, spinning her around and giving her a kiss. She blushes, and your father stares again, incredulous.“You got a good girl, kid.” He smiles. “I never would’ve thought I’d say that to you.”Backhanded comment aside, it feels good to get complimented from your father. It feels even better to notice Yayaoi seething, staring angrily at you with squinted eyes. Ha!The five of you sit around the fire for a few years, recounting tales of Christmases past, and it goes without incident thankfully. You seem to have knocked Yayaoi down a peg for now.[1/2]
>>36907621[2/2]“Remember that time our dog knocked down the tree?” Antag laughs.“And it broke my gifts!” you remember sadly.“Or the time you got your friend to dress up like Santa?” he says again“T-that scared me a bit…” Well, maybe they weren’t all totally good stories. To call it a work of art would actually be lowering the value of what you and Iori created together. It is the ultimate defense system you could come up with, and consisting of more parts than a big puzzle, it is equally confusing to mere mortal looking upon it. You give the room one final look over starting from the single window – not only is it locked, not only is it lined with your heavy book ends, but it’s also greased with some lube you kept in your room for…other things. From there, navigating the already messy floor was made even more difficult – it’s lined with a multitude of lego pieces from which you could almost hear an insidious voice rising, saying “fuck your feet” and not only that, but it’s greased in the same way the window is. The door is locked, of course, and barricaded with your old computer chair, upon which was placed a number ceramic figures you begrudgingly sacrificed in order to quite possibly save your life and Iori’s as well. From the ceiling you hung a tangle of the dark, edgy, zipper-and-chain covered clothing you wore when you went through that shitty emo phase; anyone walking through it would be wrapped around in Hot Topic tier traps.Having both gone to the bathroom before barricading the door, you were resigned to staying in your room for the remainder of the night. Only 8 hours of potential hell to deal with.“What now?” Iori asks, wiping a bit of sweat off her head. You shrug.“Now, we wait.”Waiting, of course, ended up with the two of you falling asleep nearly immediately. You wake up to a mixture of exploding ceramic, a loud thud, a yelp, and the wheels of a computer chair scraping hard against a floor. At least your trap worked.>Brandish weapons, investigate>It’s probably nothing>Write in

Your hand shoots up towards the light switch automatically, allowing both you and Iori to bear witness to the scene on the ground. Nearly every trap that wasn’t on the window was triggered, and Yayaoi lay shocked on the floor, a large workman’s hammer beside her. A fucking hammer. Did she mean to actually attack you with that?Iori gets up first and prods the girl with her foot. “Oooow.”“Mind explaining what you were in here to do?” Iori asks, arms folded and eyebrows cocked in expectation of a shitty excuse. At this point, the noise had woken up both your father and brother, both of whom stood in the doorway equally annoyed at having been woken up, and confused as to what the cause of the noise was. “I-I….I was looking for the bathroom. Guess this isn’t it! HAHAHAHAHAHA!”“Is that so?” you ask, assuming Iori’s same position. “What’s with the hammer?”“A-Are you sure that’s not yours? This room is rather messy.”Your father chimes in now, ruining the moment and ending the hunt for Yayaoi’s true intentions. “It is pretty messy, Protag. That hammer was probably in here for a while. I wanted to clean out your room myself, but between those magazines and that tube o’ lube, I didn’t want to take even a step in.”What was with everyone mentioning your goddamn magazines?!Antag helps Yayaoi up, giving her his arm to use as she fake-limps back into his room. Your dad follows suit, and once again you’re left alone with Iori.“Hey, at least it worked, right?”She gives you a high five. “We did it! Kind of.”[1/2]
[2/2]Replacing the chair in front of the door, you climb back into bed with Iori. She cuddles up to your side, but the moment is ruined by the obnoxious moaning of Yayaoi's in the next room. You need to talk to your brother about sticking your dick in crazy some day.You wake up the next morning to the smell of French toast, and herding a sleepy Iori with you (after giving her a “Merry Christmas” as excitedly as you could manage, which wasn't much) into the kitchen, you see Yayaoi cooking.“Eat up, Protag~” Yayaoi sings, offering you a plate.>Eat it>It’s probably poison! >Write in.

It’s there on the plate steaming, the butter melting and the syrup dripping off so nicely it’s almost sexual. Almost.Antag, appearing from behind Yayaoi, smiles at you innocently. Of course he doesn’t know what his girlfriend is up to.“Come on, bro! Eat ‘em up! Yayaoi used her family’s special recipe!”He truly didn’t know that “special recipe” was codeword for “cyanide”.You think fast, very very fast, and ultimately settle on what you think is the best course of action.“T-that’s so sweet of you, Yayaoi. I’d love to share with you two!”Yayaoi drops the spatula, but Antag smiles. “That’s so kind of you! Merry Christmas, Protag!”Fork in hand he leans over to you, ready to take a bite, but Yayaoi “accidentally” knocks the plate to the ground. The food splatters to the ground, and you think that you might actually hear a sizzle.“Oh man! I’m so sorry!” she says. After that, she “accidentally” tips over the batter.“Darn! I’m so clumsy, aren’t I?”Antag just smiles as he helps her clean up. Beside you, Iori wipes her forehead in relief. You just smirk. When your father comes down stairs, everyone gathers around the Christmas tree in the living room. There are a small amount of presents, but that’s not really the point of Christmas anyway.[1/2]

I didn’t know either of you were coming.”“It’s perfectly fine, Mr. Tagger. Thanks for allowing us to stay over.” Iori says.“Ditto.” From Yayaoi.Next is your turn. >>36909513>A nice bracelet
>>36909513>A nice braceletProtag has dealt with so much idol bs, his reaction times have increased to the point he is a pro gamer and can actually(barely) afford this.
Your first present goes, of course, to Iori. You’ve only been together for a few months, but you couldn’t have asked for better in your otherwise shitty life. Put aside all the threats on your lives, and the law breaking and the danger, and really you have not a thing to complain about. Hell, you never even thought you’d be able to live in the same house as another human once you left your father’s home, and now you share a bed with a cute idoru. Some good things happen in your life, it seems. You hand Iori a small wrapped box, and she opens it slowly. Inside is a silver bracelet, simple and elegant in design, and sized to fit her perfectly. You slip your hand in your pocket and produce a matching one for you.“Protag.” She says, tearing up a bit while smiling. “It’s wonderful.” “Y-you too.”You get a giggle for that, and a great big hug.Definitely worth it.Next, you give your father his gift – a new tool set. He gives you a lopsided smile, but tells you that he “will definitely use it”. Antag receives a gift card from you. You’d like to have given him something nicer, but the two of you were just never close enough to know what the other even enjoyed. Finally, Antag hands Yayaoi an expensive looking purse, and she fawns in that fake pure-sounding voice she’d been using. “Oh my gooooooood. It’s so niiiiice.”To your father he gives a nice sweater to, and you receive a gift card from him as well.Like brother like brother, you guess. The day passes mostly uneventfully, and after yet another delicious diner your father cooked up, you get ready to leave. You’re in the bathroom washing your hands when, in the mirror, you see Yayaoi pop out of the shower stall, dressed and holding a knifeHOLDINGAKNIFEFUCKSHIT>Call for help>Defend yourself>Write in

Just like earlier, when the knife at dinner soared straight at your head, time seemed to slow down while you watched Yayaoi exit the shower and head towards you. In this bullet-time-esque moment, you looked to your left and saw Antag passing the open bathroom door, bags in his hands while he headed to pack his car. You decide to call out to him, but not after splashing soapy water at Yayaoi’s eyes.“Hey, Antag!” you say. “I think you’re forgetting another thing of baggage!”“Hey!” she yells at you, stomping her feet.“Yayaoi, mind helping me with the bags?”She hesitates, looking to you and to the knife and back, before grunting and following Antag.Iori walks in right after, smiling in triumph. “We survived an entire day and night with that she devil. Can you believe it?” “Barely.” You answer, and then the two of you begin to pack your own bags and take them to the car. Before you leave you give your dad a hug, and then Iori follows suit. Antag and Yayaoi had already left, and in confidence your father says that he likes Iori more. Mostly because “That other girl’s voice was so annoying”Finally, the two of you are back on the road. It’s night, and the crisp stars are bright in the night.Out of the corner of your eye you can swear you see Yayaoi in the back of the car…>Check>It’s just an illusion

No. No way is she possibly in the car. She’s with Antag, right? Right?Oh god. Paranoia grips you suddenly, and a cold sweat breaks out.Iori is sleeping in the passenger seat, and you don’t want to wake her as you pull over to the side and check the car. She’s not in the backseat. Or the trunk. Or under the hood. She’s not in the car at all.Your nerves feel frayed and burnt out. Living under the same roof, even for a day, as the person who wants to murder you more than she wants anything else just isn’t easy.Iori wakes up when you make it back to her – your – apartment, and after hastily throwing your luggage to the side until morning, you both end up in bed. It’s the middle of the night, no longer Christmas, but stringed lights and Christmas decorations light up the streets below beautifully.“I-I have one more gift for you, Protag.” She says, referencing the watch she had given to you that morning around the Christmas tree.“Hmm?” you ask?But very soon you learn that it was the best gift she could’ve given. It was messy and awkward and yet all around the most lovely thing you’ve ever been given or shared in your entire life. You’ve never, ever felt closer to a person before, or more filled with absolute love. Maddening love. You want to thank her, but she’s sleeping now, breathing slowly and evenly and you hope – you know the feeling is mutual. ==END==
I hope you all enjoyed playing as much as I enjoyed writing. As usual, questions/concerns/criticism/etc. are welcome.Merry Christmas, everyone!

>>36910747Merry Christmas! Thanks for the thread, I loved it.
Fun fact, this is actually the 10th Accidental Idol quest. I didn't think I'd make it past one.
>>36910867What a happy accident!
>>36910878It's a miracle.
>>36910878I imagine the same could be said about ProTag's "present".

>>36910723Dawww. That's adorable >This leads later into Accidental Idol pregnancy >Which leads into Accidental Idol Time Travel as a kid from the future needs our help to save the meeting of Protag and Iori from being ruined by time traveling Yayaoi

>>36910943Not ruined by the child of Antag and Yayaoi
>>36910985Very tastefully done. The fact it set up later quests and is D'aww worthy in of itself are plusses.
I think this is my last Im@s Christmas picture.
>>36911051>Very tastefully done. The fact it set up later quests and is D'aww worthy in of itself are plusses. Thanks for the assurance, anon. I appreciate it.I don't think this first time they had sex will be the exact occurence that leads to the Accidental Idol Pregnancy, but now that they've had sex, it can be linked to later times.
>>36910723Shit, I'm 6 hours late! Thanks for running! That Yayaoi ho is crazy. Also,>Accidental Idol Employment (Protag finds a job) Quest when?
