Snatched from the brunt of the wave, the young man faces an inhuman creature of humanoid form that strikes out his eye to deliver onto him the gift of magic by means of the followers.Praise be to Susej they say. These followers.Selfish in his means of survival, a young man rallies with these people for his own safety as the government seeks to keep the truth of the world under wraps, that magic exists and that people like the followers are throwing it into chaos.Sent on a mission to liberate people captured for conscription based on their awakening to magic, he journeys with others to meet with a woman planted for this very purpose, finding adversity on the way.Having left a trail all too easy to follow, he's been captured and taken to the very place he'd been looking to gain access, though not exactly on his own terms...Recently rescued by unknown allies, the young man takes on a new alias “Faust” to help him lay low.You are Asher Faust, welcome to Over(human)Limit S2
>>35593742>That pastebin.Well, here's the updated version. Doubt it will matter this thread.http://pastebin.com/0N40mTn9http://pastebin.com/1HG3j4EAThis one is the same thing, but has the glow as smooky red+black instead of ember red.
>>35593825Sorry about that, had a lot the past few days, most questions were answered at work.
>>35593825Why is there red in the cyan parts of that pic?
Days pass as you go through a similar routine, waking up in the wood, being greeted by Emilia as she comes through the door. Sometimes XIX coming with her to give you blood and watch you work.By your effort, the trees of this wood have returned to green, enchanted against flame and cold, and that had only been the first couple days. The blood of beasts is strong with magic, a single line of blood being all that's necessary it embed and strengthen the enchantment.More would certainly make this last beyond just winter, yet the trees are many and the blood of beasts must be used sparingly. The wood is grateful, yet conflicted by the offerings.During the nights, Fae dance in your dreams, curious as to what the man with the wooden arm is doing. You haven't much spoken with Faust either, and you've yet to see your sister again.Emilia says that she's still working on some of the finer points of integrating the suits together, some kind of blockage of progress. It's been just about a week, but you're seeing a similar blockage in your own works. Even if you make the trees grow without faltering, even if they're resistant to the blade of an axe or a chainsaw. Who would protect their children? You will need to move on from here eventually. And even so these enchantments will eventually need to be restored. The power of blood is great, yet not infinite. You meditate under a tree you feel that is particularly long-lived, its green leave standing against the chill of autumn even as the wind howls admirably to bring it down.Searching your mind for an answer, it comes to you from the glimpses of your dreams. Fae. The old protectors.Therein lies the same issue though. Eventually they will need to be restored.Unless. They truly exist in this world...Who would you ask for guidance in seeing this through?
>>35593841It's cool.Sometimes I feel bad, like I'm spaming/pestering you about this stuff. If I'm being too much of an ass about it at some point, feel free to tell me to knock it off.>>35593866Because Asher's soul got cracked and the RB flowed into it. It's mostly in the part that used to be the Luci/pyromancy parts, but I figured the cyan Asher parts got some leaking into it too.
>>35593916 > Lucia, it was her goal. The grounds between you should be neutral now.> Faust. A long-lived alchemist. He assisted you with your arm. A solution should be simple, yes?> Dorothy. She is strange and old, but she seems to know a thing or two when it comes to magic.> Saphira. If she has a solution, it would likely be to the benefit of the others as well. You're all in this together.> Search for the answer yourself within other astral realities.
>>35593940> Search for the answer yourself within other astral realities.I don't realy see any of the others having much knowledge of that. And no Lucia that's a trap
>>35593940> Saphira. If she has a solution, it would likely be to the benefit of the others as well. You're all in this together.
>>35593940> Faust. A long-lived alchemist. He assisted you with your arm. A solution should be simple, yes?
>>35593940> Search for the answer yourself within other astral realities.or> Faust. A long-lived alchemist. He assisted you with your arm. A solution should be simple, yes?
>>35593924Nah, it's good. I'm kind of scatterbrained when it comes to my notes and pastes. Honestly, I've been thinking of you as "Secretary-san"I'd probably make the cyan line thicker and stagger it with the dark/red. Like it's unstable.
>>35593940>> Search for the answer yourself within other astral realities.
>>35593940> Search for the answer yourself within other astral realities.I wonder who we will find.
>>35593940I don't really want to talk to Lucia until we're strong enough that she can't just curbstomp us on a whim. Also, $20 says that she went and offered our replacement a bonus if they kill us.>[x] Faust. A long-lived alchemist. He assisted you with your arm. A solution should be simple, yes?
Alright. Time to do some searching...
>>35593940> Search for the answer yourself within other astral realities. And noone fell for the trap option yet
>>35593940>grounds between you should be neutral nowI knew she still wanted the D.
>>35594137Bad preparation Dran
>>35594288That was confirmation of a vote you silly-billy.
>>35594315I am deeply sorry Dran-sama
Plant parasites when?
>Asher gets a wand thing>Whenever he uses it, the spells refuse to harm plants>Wand explodes and takes his arm with it>He replaces his arm with a tree>He goes and spends a few days doing nothing but enchanting trees to resist cold, heat, and physical damageDo you think any of the ZG members are starting to put 2 and 2 together?
>>35594480> put 2 and 2 togetherThat Asher is a scrub? Yeah, they can probably tell.
>>35594480Are there realy so many who would notice?I mean everyone is freaking insane.I wonder what Gertrude-quest players think at the moment
>>35594565>they must think we're crazy at leastSo nothing changed at all?
>>35594565They already thought Asher was crazy. Remember, you're talking about the nigger that thought it was a good idea to join the crazy magic terrorists, organize a church slaughter at Pahrump, and work for Lucifer for a bit. Then there's the whole Rage Beast thing, which from everyone else's point of view, looks like he decided to just randomly summon a giant flaming death monster and start screaming at it in the middle of a 3-way fight between giant robots and wizards.
>>35594611>he decided to just randomly summon a giant flaming death monster and start screaming at it in the middle of a 3-way fight between giant robots and wizards. They must realy think that Asher is the stereotype for wizards
>>35594546It's really funny. Back in the first couple threads Asher was the strongest in his little group of Emilia, Hunter, and him and he was all smug and happy about it.Now he's the weakest of the three and Emilia's probably the strongest. She's got Expert Geo and 7 points unspent, so she's pretty close to hitting a master rank spell and potentially getting crazy gravity powers associated with it.
>>35594666I was never a fan of branching out as much as we did. It's just fucking stupid to not specialise.
>>35593916Dran, is this a phase we are going through after a bad breakup? Like, where most dudes hit the gym, Asher becomes a druid?
>>35594549>I wonder what Gertrude-quest players think at the momentThey probably think Faust finally snapped completly
>>35594688>as we didI thought we were golden when we got alchemy, but then floramancy came along...
>>35593916 At the dawn of the world, God made many creatures before mankind. Some, like the angels that followed Lucifer, wanted to make their own abode and burst out of heaven, leaving the gates ajar. The force was so great that many other beings fell from heaven with the rebellious angels and other various beings. When God became aware of what was happening, he shut those gates, forbidding traversal to and from heaven. The rebels made their home in hell, while those that had been caught in the tide settled upon earth, becoming the fairies. You open your eyes to the astral, and a displeased Morgan waits for you, the lusterous green dress matching that of her eyes, a miasma of violet shadows hanging about her.“Why are you here? Guiding me to something?” You say, of equivalent dismay. Her Unseelie of misfortune nearly killed Cora in Vegas. As much as you might feel a tinge of guilt, it's this bitch's fault.“You seek the courts of the fae, yes?” She says, turning her head as a road of light framed by flourishing trees is presented before your astral walk. “As an Unseelie, I have little business with the Seelie, yet they are the ones you seek.”As she turns back to you, she smiles, long canines glinting with the colors of the ether, “I will show you the way. They call you as they've noticed your work thus far.”“How nice of them to notice.” You step forward, and without further delay, the two of you walk down the path. “What should I expect.”“Many children, both young and old, so many catering to be summoned.”“Children young and old?” You ask, but then you smile and hold up a hand, pausing her from answering, “Right, immortal fae. Forever young, yet old. Forever childish, yet mature.”“Exactly. Even more so for the Seelie.”“Are you going to leave if I make a deal with them?”
>>35594688The thing is, not branching out was never an option. Even if we had stayed pure Hydromancer, Ice and Steam would have stayed as separate spells, and we likely would have had to take Materia Firma to be effective at all, so we'd have been split between 3 or 4 spells then anyway. Right now, we're split between Summoning, Alchemy, and I guess Flora as our main 3 with the other prereq/misc spells all totaling up to cost about the same as a single Expert spell. So really Asher effectively has 4 spells; summoning and alchemy are two high-tier spells at medium ranks, the pile of prereqs/misc spells is like a low-tier power but high-tier diversity at a high rank, and flora is I guess a med-tier spell at a low rank. The whole thing is kind of a clusterfuck, really.
>>35594862 Morgan purses her lips together, eyes fluttering them out into a smile, “Yes. I've got my own business to take care of. Other people are rediscovering Arthurian lore and the true king of England must make his return soon.”“Your brother?”“Our legend ends with his departure to Avalon for healing. During my life I had not the power to bring him back, then people turned me into a figure of evil. How they demonized women in my time.” She shakes her head at the memory. You stare at her for a moment, “You lived?”Morgan gives you a coy grin, her eyes turning ahead to a blinding light, “Come, we are almost there.”As you pass through the threshold, you are greeted by a world of distinct smells. Loamy soil, flowers in full bloom, and thousands of colors coalescing into distinct and vibrant, solid forms."You can keep the beast." She whispers.Yet when you turn around, Morgan is nowhere to be found. Calling out her name, yields no answer. She was serious. Gone, she's left you. And so easily. Perhaps you'll find her someday in England?
>>35594957Well that was unexpected
>>35594957Shame she's gone, but at least she was cool about it. Morgan was pretty based.
>>35594957A shame I liked Morgan. If we survive long enough it surely brought us some point with King Arthur should we meet him
>>35594957>>35594862Huh. I guess she really was the summon that was most like Asher. Fucked right off when better deals were to be found elsewhere.
>>35594957>"You can keep the beast." She whispers.
>>35595051My thoughts exactly. She's probably the first mythos figure we've left (or has left us, in this case) on good terms.
>>35594758Floramancy+Alchemy together is the shit. That arm we made is apparently an Expert/Master thing if you only have Floramancy. And we got it at Apprentice.Imagine what we can make with both of them at Master.
>>35595129I'm kinda glad that it went like that instead of turning into Luci 2.0
>>35594957>Do shit with your power Asher>Demonstrate your power Asher>Use your FUCKING POWER ASHER>I want to MAKE you use your power AsherHmmmm... I think I'm going to use my power to become god of the forest...>Yeah, I'm gonna fuck off to England now, bye
I'm kinda happy that she's gone even though she was probably my favorite character in the quest. Her powers really weren't suited to direct combat at all and if we're going to be turning into some kind of a plant hybrid thing, her healing magic wouldn't work on us anyway.
>>35595215And it was starting to look like her staying around for much longer would have just resulted in some bad shit happening.
>>35595154I'm not disagreeing, but the concern would be that we will continue to suck since we have no skills above adept. With luck, floramancy will be the last branch we make in spending our LIMIT.
>>35595215I didn't trust her at all, and she did as much harm for us as good, though I did like her.
>>35595249I kinda wanted to get Flora to Adept for the big boost that gives and then rush either Alchemy or Summoning to Master rank. Alchemy would get nukes and SCIENCE! matter that does crazy stuff, Summoning would let us summon crazy summons that do crazy summons stuff.Leaning more towards wanting Alchemy, myself, but I'd be fine with summoning.
>>35595323Alchemy should be our focus, it improves all our other magic
>>35594957 “Hello?” You wander through the trees for some time, a surreal facsimile of the wood your real body sleeps in. Things can be heard moving in the verdant brush. “Anyone there?” Pushing back a bush and you see a faerie grinning at you stupidly, a smile of sharp little teeth. You blink, “He-”“Human!” It screams and flies off. “Human! Human! Human! It's a child of Adam! It's a child of man! Woman! A huuuuman!” It screeches for the whole faewood to hear. With fingers in your ears, you walk on, tromping in nearly the opposite direction. Honestly, this place feels different from your other trips to the astral. This isn't like the bedroom with Lucia, or Asherah's beach. No- it's actually more like Asherah's beach... Just. More. There's a life here and there are denizens. You can hear a rousing interest from far away as the fae alarms others. This is more like another plane. As you carry on, you see crystalline trees breaching through the canopy of the woods. The way there, you find a bridge granting passage over a running river. You scratch your chin to think. Something's giving you pause, yet you can't quite put your finger on it...> Cross the bridge.> Head downriver.> Cross the river... Though it's moving a bit fast.> (Other)
>>35595382I feel like I should hit up wikipedia for fae and bridges before I vote...
>>35595382Take a look under the bridge, see if there's anything hiding underneath it, and if it all seems clear then cross the bridge.
>>35595382Look under the bridge
>>35595382> Head downriver.Don't drink or eat anything.
>>35595382Isn't there something like a spirit can't cross running water? Does that apply to us as well?If so, don't go in the river...Also, is our magic disabled here?
>>35595374More the other way around - our Alchemy is improved by all our other magic. Alch does help the other spells, but it gets a bigger buff itself than it gives. Also it doesn't really interact with summoning much at all beyond the whole real bodies thing.
>>35595490Pretty sure we can magic in the astral, but I don't really feel like testing our stuff against this place. Seems like it'd go poorly at best.
>>35595382> Head downriver.
>>35595382Seems like we've entered Tír na nÓg. Nice last gesture of Morgan to lead us here.> Head downriver. The bridge seems suspicious
>>35595382 With your intuition bleats at you, and with that little thought in mind, you head to the side of the bridge, going prone and peering around to the underside. There you see a troll dozing off beneath the bridge.Huh, well that figures. Every bridge have a troll under it or something?Well, maybe you could ask it for directions to the fae court...> Fuck that shit, head downriver.> Walk over the bridge very carefully.> Talk to the troll.> Try asking a faerie for directions... preferably one that isn't screaming.> (other)
>>35595742> Talk to the troll.or> Try asking a faerie for directions... preferably one that isn't screaming.
>>35595742> Fuck that shit, head downriver.
>>35595742> Talk to the troll.Don't get too close to it though.
>>35595742> Fuck that shit, head downriver.
>>35595742>> Talk to the troll.
>>35595742> Fuck that shit, head downriver.or> Fuck that shit, head downriver.Asking a fae for direction doesn't seem like the smartest plan
>>35595887second one was supposed to be> Talk to the troll.
>>35595887Trolls are also a type of fae, kind of like goblins are.
>>35595742> Try asking a faerie for directions... preferably one that isn't screaming.
>>35596082Yes but the troll will want something to let us pass the bridge while a random fairy might send us into a completly wrong direction. Also If I remember correctly one has to repay every favour one gets from a fae
>>35596082Still alive Dran? Also confirmation whether we are in Tir na nOg or not?
>>35595742 You stare at the sleeping troll, a thug of thick skin, long horns, and gangly features. It's a safe bet that it could dash your body here with a single swing...Hoisting yourself up, you're ready to run downriver at a moment's notice, “Hey there.” You say aloud, “You with the face.”The dark green monster rustles in its sleeping habit, a loud wretched snore tearing through the air. With a deep breath, you yell “I SAID YOU WITH THE FACE!”The thing swings out, waking up, large yellow eyes snapping open with veins popping. “Ho?! Who goes thar? Ye be want'n cross me bridge? Need a toll t' keep it nice an' fixed fer da passersby.”You dig in your pockets, turning them out to find them empty. Figures. “No money, but I do need to pass.”“An' ware might ye be goin' lad?” It grumbles, hoisting itself up, and swinging its long arms upon the underside of the bridge, flipping up topside like a monkey, stretching out, cracking and popping joints, “Oh, me old bones be sore 's a whore... Ware ye be goin? An'...” The thing squints, “Aint ye be a human?”“Looking for the Seelie Court. And yes, I am.” Hopefully that gets you some special priviledge. “By the way, where am I?”“Queshtun fer an answer lad...” The monster scratches wiry whiskers sprouting from its chin, “Ye be in Tir Na Nog, land o' th' immortul Fae. An what might a human be look'n fer th' court fer? Been a long time since y' kind been to ourland.”> “Looking to make a deal.”> “Looking for an alliance.”> “Training and knowledge.”> “None of your business.”
>>35596797> “Looking for an alliance.”or> “Training and knowledge.”
>>35596797We came here to figure out how to better protect the trees in a more permanent way than the enchantments give.> “Training and knowledge.”
>>35596797> “Training and knowledge.”
>>35596797> “Looking to make a deal.”
>>35596797> “Looking for an alliance.”We want to bring the spirits of the forest into the world now, right?
>>35597028We want a whole lot of things. But that too
>>35597028Something like that? I think we want to figure out how to make the forest spirits real in addition to figuring out how to make new plant monster life things.
>>35597028That + Training and Knowledge
>>35596797 “Knowledge, though an alliance might be alright too.” You admit, the troll, gripping his chin ponderously.“Well, that be one o' the nob-ler causes lad. An' wish me could help ya. But see, me bridge, “He taps his foot upon the ragged wood, “Has a toll. No coin, no passage.”“I could make a deal with you. Summon you into the real world.” You bargain, yet the troll laughs.“See, 's much 's tha's nice, me can' do it. Bridge 'as a toll, an' me be troll. Law o' th' fae. If y' try t' pass, I'll need t' eat ya.”“Right...” You look on down the river.“It ends kin' o' far. Too fas' t' cross wit'out getting' swept t' the pond. Take time but y' might be right on getting' round.”“Sounds fine by me.” You start to walk off.“Good luck wit' 'em girlies human!”You give a backwards wave. At least the troll was somewhat pleasant. Downriver, you find yourself at a clearing with a pond, the water slowly foaming and lapping at the shores, pooling with etheric forces, spurts of magic and life glistening amongst the surface. Lillypads in full bloom, and dragonflies darting about, dipping into the water. Further and up is a sheer cliff face, though there seems to be a thin ledge that's passable between the water and cliff face.Your feet are kind of tired.. and you find yourself a bit parched.> Lay down to rest against a tree.> Get a drink from the pond.> Go for a swim.> Stay the course, and walk along the slippery ledge.> (other)
>>35597377> Stay the course, and walk along the slippery ledge.Doesn't time pass something like 100X faster in here? I'd rather not fuck around.
>>35597377> Stay the course, and walk along the slippery ledge.
>>35597377> Stay the course, and walk along the slippery ledge.Let's not fall into the generic faeryland traps
>>35597377Use the ice board idea to get around
>>35597494This is a chance to meet a variety of summons before contracting. That rapport yo.
>>35597544Oh. Not even the anon you're replying to, but I thought this was a pile of generic trap option too.
>>35597544Well than change >>35597494 to > Lay down to rest against a tree.Because I'm still against drinking anything here
>>35597377> Lay down to rest against a tree.I realy don't want to drink something around here.
>>35597377> Lay down to rest against a tree.
>>35595742Is the bridge in a state of disrepair? Can we fix it with magic?
>>35597377> Lay down to rest against a tree.Let's find us a dryad!
>>35597840Hope you like getting stabbed
>>35597756We would have to pay.
>>35597840Probably not going to look anything like this
>>35598306I've been with this quest for so long that I was honestly surprised when there wasn't a huge bulge on that chick.
>>35598397Camille was the best fuckbuddy option and you know it.
>>35598501Go away trap fetishist.I hope Ebola-chan gets your eye
>>35598501But that'd be gay. I admit Dran has some issues with women, but that just means lolis are the real solution.
>>35598501Asher likes women anon.
>>35598569Camille was more effeminate than Emilia was.Which is kinda a thing I'm noticing with traps. They tend to be more girly than actual girls.
>>35597377 With a blink, you find yourself a bit more tired than you thought. Seeing a tree that seems just right to lean against, you slide down, get comfortable and stare at the burbling water for a bit. Little wisps fly across the pond, chasing fireflies. Slowly, you doze off...After a while, you hear voices.“A human...”“Evie was right!“Shush Xera, you'll wake it up!”“Shaddup Sappa, YOU'LL wake it up!”“Shhh, Quiet you, he's napping.” This one hums from the tree you're snug up against.Cracking your eyes open slowly, you're met with the little faces of a small flock of faeries.“It's awake! Scram!” A red-haired one shouts, and the they all zip away.Getting up, you feel a touch on your shoulder and look back to see a woman of wood halfway out of the tree, “Good morning, I tried to get them to leave you be. By chance, you are unwed?”Gently and warily, you pull away, brushing the feeling of the touch off your shoulder, “No, I'm not. I was just going actually.” In a bit of a hurry, you start to head for the cliff.“Wait! Wait! Those rocks are slippery!”You look back, “And?”“When something is slippery, you're bound to slip.” The dryad smiles, green hair falling over part of her face. She's part of a willow tree. You stare at her blankly, “Okay, isn't that common sense?”“Of course it is. That's why you shouldn't walk on those rocks.”You turn to her and tromp up, looking her up and down. Long willowy hair covers her face, obscuring her eyes, yet revealing enough for a friendly little smile to pass through. The vines cover her chest which you presume to be otherwise bare. She has her hands before her, gingerly fidgeting with her fingers.“So, what do you propose I do?”The dryad points out to the water, “Should ask the nymphs for safe passage... “Alright, thank you.” You begin to turn again, when-“But first! C-could I... Erm... Could I have a hug?”
>>35598609They're actively trying to be girls, as opposed to simply being a girl, so... yeah. Turns out when you have unrealistic fantasies and expectations, the people actively trying to live up to the same unrealistic fantasies and expectations will, in fact, be closer that ideal.
>>35598644 She opens her arms up, looking away ever so slightly. From where you can see her cheeks through the willowvine, she's blushing a bit. She seems.. bashful?> Give the dryad a hug.> Turn her down, and try talking to the nymphs.
>>35598666I meant in a passive sense.Camille likes painting flowers, and Emilia likes shanking robots with a magic spear.
>>35598671Does anyone know if there's some kind of "don't hug the dryads" thing going on in this place? Or if hugging her means we have to marry her or something?
>>35598671>Hug that slut I know the hug is a trap, but I'm hoping it is a fun trap.
>>35598671> Give the dryad a hug.
>>35598729She might be an alraune, looking for her fix of human blood.
>>35598671I have no Clue whether that's a trap or not

>>35598793He's not in a real bad mood.
>>35598793I think it might just be that Asher's gotten his ass kicked by astral shit enough times and has read enough books about fae and stuff to know to just deal with it and not piss off the forest.
>>35598769It could be a Skogsra or something no idea. They are always looking for dudes
>>35598892We're in Arthurian context, so I don't think explicitly Celtic shit would fly. Then again, there are dryads and water nymphs...

>>35599031>Only a dozen
>>35598793Getting angry for no reason, as opposed to getting angry at stupid shit, makes you giggly. The troll will be the troll, and getting mad at the troll for being the troll isn't helpful, so there's no reason to be mad, so you won't stay mad very long.

As you embrace her, she returns it, laying her head upon your shoulder amputated shoulder and taking in a deep breath.“You smell like an old burnt wood... Lots of anger, but there is peace for you here...” She pulls away, “You should ask the Queen Titania for healing, surely she could heal the anger as it rests in your-”You bat her off, “I'm fine.” You make to leave at last, “The anger is good. It is my tool for justice. I will protect the trees.”“It sounds more like vengeance...”“Mind your own, okay?” You stop, thinking for a moment, “Though I may need someone like you. To protect the trees... If you could help them protect themselves, would you?”“A b-body? In your world? I.. I don't know. I've been here for so long..”“You've only been in Tir Na Nog for a few years, you know how time passes for us.” A little red-headed faerie peeps out from the dryad's vines.“Xera, but that's.”“Hey, human, why not make me and the girls that kind of offer? We'd love to go to the human world! The sights, the smells, the life!”Staring at the fae for a moment, you walk off to the pond's side without another word.“-eyyyyyy!” The Faerie zips in front of your face as you squat beside the water. “Hey! Listen! Me and the girls-”You move the faerie out of the way, as you go to scratch your head, wondering what to do with the pond.“Listen, Hey! We can help yo-” You grab the faerie, and throw her backward as you raise an eyebrow.“I SAID HEY!” She darts back in front, and grabs your hand as you make to bat her out of the way.Looking at the back of your hand, you grimace at the faerie, “What do you want? Got anything useful to say?”“Me and the gi-” You tense up, ready to swing her off, “YOU SHOULD KNOCK!”
>>35599457You stop. “What?“If you knock on someone's home, they answer. Faerie rule. Twice for bathroom, three times for friends or familial affairs, four for business!”“Uh, huh. And what about five, six, seven, or eight?”“You don't need to knock that many times!” She cries.> Fling her off.> Give her the time of day.> Go ahead and knock while she's still on the back of your hand.>How many times will you knock?
>>35599484Technically, we haven't met them yet. This will be a business discussion, though if it ends on a good note we might knock three times.>Give her the time of dayIf she doesn't have anything else interesting to say>Knock four times while she's still on your hand.
>>35599484> Give her the time of day.
>>35599484> Go ahead and knock while she's still on the back of your hand.4times I guess?
>>35599484> Go ahead and knock while she's still on the back of your hand.Twice, lel
>>35599484> Go ahead and knock while she's still on the back of your hand. It's buisness I guess since we haven't met before
>>35599484>> Give her the time of day.She gave us advice, so we'll here her out.
>>35599484> Give her the time of day.Knock 4 times
>>35599484> Go ahead and knock while she's still on the back of your hand.4timesSaph will have a psychic breakdown when we bring them with us
Surprised you guys don't want to try 5+...
>>35599651We can knock a hundred million times if you want.
>>35599484> Give her the time of day.7 times, because 7 is lucky.
>>355996747 is also 3+4, so it's like friend business.
>The Fairy Queen is said to pay a tithe to Hell every seven years, and her mortal lovers often provide this sacrifice. So, uh, don't fuck the fairy queen.
>>35599856Why would a pagan deity/mythos pay tribute to the christian satan?
>>35599925Fuck if I know. I'd rather not end up finding out, though.
>>35599256Aztec mythology does that.
>>35599925Not that guy but sometimes mythos mix and people make shit up that change myths over time.
>>35599925Because people think she does.
>>35599484 “Alright, what do you want?”The Fae finally sighs, and flits off of your hand, “Finally, you're gonna listen! Oh, I'm so excited!” She sees some of the other faeries looking at her, immediately locking up and adjusting her position, straight and haughty.“I am Xera, a fire Godde-”“Bullshit.” You look away, ready to knock.“Wait, wait, wait!” She pleads, and you give her attention again, a scrutinizing look.“Okay, I'm Xera, and my sisters heard about boundary between our worlds becoming all thin again! We were hoping that- since you're hear- that you could pretty please summon us so we can do things and have fun?” She clasps her hands together, squeezing her eyes shut. You roll your own, had your own fill of little faeries. But... “You can do fire magic?”“A little...- I mean, a lot! I can totally do a lot!” She zips around, before you, puffing out her chest, “I'm a fire goddess after all!”“Right... And the girls?” You point a thumb back at the other fae that are peeking out of hiding.“Oi, come here, I think the human is cool!”“You sure Xera?”“Yeah! It totally doesn't want to eat us!”For some reason, you feel vaguely dramatized as a monster. The other faeries come out. One with yellow hair, another with blue, and the last with green.Xera points out each one in turn, “Evi!”The one with a troubled smile, long ears, a crook in her nose and blobde hair pulled back into a bun waves back shyly,” H-hello...”“Sappa!”One with long curly blue hair and downcast eyes waves back, “Hello...”“And Sara!”The one in green that you actually recognize from the bushes earlier, growls at you with her hands out like claws, “Rawr, human!”
>>35600207 The quartet of faes gather in front of you. “So you're going to summon us?”“I expected taller.”“Wonder what that bulge is in his pants.”“What happened to his arm?”“He smells like smoke.”The faes chatter about, incessantly as they get more comfortable...> Ignore them and knock...> Try to set up some kind of contract... with the four of them.
>>35600207Wait a second. This seems familiar...Are these the fairies from pic related that I posed back months ago?
>>35600228> Ignore them and knock...We haven't knocked yet have we?
>>35600228> Try to set up some kind of contract... with the four of them.
>>35600207>Edit: The Green one's name is Lunn
>>35600207>“I'm a fire goddess after all!”Let me guess she's a minor one.
>>35600228>Ignore them and knock...That's how buisness is done her and I feel like something horrible will happen if we don't follow that procedure

Guys? I remembered we can create TNT.
>>35598671>> Give the dryad a hug.
>>35600540you're a bit late
>>35600228 Ignoring them, you turn to knock on the surface of the water. To your surprise, knuckles against water have a sudden firmness, giving the implication and sound of an actual knock. You knock once.“Hey, what are you doing?”You knock again.“Wait, he's knocking.”And a third time.“Hey, we were-”You knock a fourth and final time.“No! He knocked four times for the nymph!”You knock four times, and look away for a moment to stare at the annoying faeries, “What? I have business with her.”“The nymph in the water, business is-”You hear a sudden splash and arms encircling you. Without another moment wasted, you're drawn into the pond, struggling against the unknown assailant's supernatural strength. Suddenly, you experience vivid flashbacks of when you were swept up by the San Diego wave. In a panic, you kick, and pull, trying to scream, thrash away, gag and choke. The watery nymph looks into your eyes with a predatory glint as she pulls you in close and kisses you deeply, pulling you further down into the deceptively deep pond...>[End Thread]Next time, Sunday at 22:00!

>>35600803No, I think he was speaking moss.
>>35600621Water nymph? I thought we were knocking on a door to go see queen whats her face.
>Salmacis forced the youth Hermaphroditus into a carnal embrace and, when he sought to get away, fused with him.Salmacis is a water nymph, by the way. This is gonna be... interesting.
>>35600986>In Greek mythology, Hermaphroditus or Hermaphroditos Listeni/hərˌmæf.rəˈdaJ.təs/ (Ancient Greek: Ἑρμαφρόδιτος) was the son of Aphrodite and Hermes. According to Ovid, born a remarkably handsome boy, he was transformed into an androgynous being by union with the water nymph Salmacis. His name is the basis for the word hermaphrodite.Fucking kek I think Asher just got trap-ified.Asher is going to end up look like an absolute abomination.
>>35600986>Salmacis is a rapistSo we are going to be a rape slave.
>>35601010Only in the astral sight, and it's not like he didn't already probably look ridiculous.
>>35601010Damn I hope this doesn't happen.
>>35601045What if it gets rid of Emilia's thing for him?
>>35601010>>35600986After shit happening every day in Asher's life I just have no fucks to give. If Asher acually turns into a hermaphrodite that could be a boon with the occasional magic hermaphrodites that run around in myths.
>>35601095Same here. The dude is already part TREE. I couldn't give less of a fuck if a water nymph wants to move in too.Could honestly end up being interesting with Asher being some kind of horrifying amalgam of damn near every mythos stuffed into one dude who wanders around fucking up.
>>35601082>>35601095Genderbending and traps are the fucking worst.
>>35601095I don't think it'd actually affect his physical body since he isn't a bone. It'd probably just affect the astral self, which would honestly be hilarious.>Walk into Dorothy's shop>Solace quirks an eyebrow>"...customer?"
>>35601133Well that's what happens when people mess with summons or astral entities, Nothing but trouble
>>35601296>Saph: "THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING!
>>35601333Sorry, Saph. We suck too much on our own to be useful without bumblefucking through the astral. We'll just have to bumblefuck harder and try to minimize the consequences.
>>35601333Saph's crazy and nobody cares what she thinks.
>>35601333Do you have to be somewhere early tomorrow or something? Thread ended kinda earlier than usual.
>>35601333Please tell me Asher isn't actually getting genderbent.
We can convert water to air via alchemy, so I say we get some nymph pussy and get on with the quest.>inb4 Magic doesn't work>inb4 you shouldn't fuck a nymph
>>35601404No. But there is imminent rape.
>>35601333>implying Saph is rightIf we mess with summons and astral entities hard enough, eventually it will become such a tangled mess of trouble that our enemies will become stuck in it and die.
>>35601370Well look at the bright side we probably just being dragged down to her abode to drown if it pleases that anon who hates traps and gender bending.
>>35601415>implying Asher wasn't asking for it
>>35601415>No. But there is imminent rape.Called it.
>>35601415Shame. I was kinda hoping shit would get weird just to piss off /pol/anon. Maybe he'd finally leave.
So. Are you guys really so surprised you got hit with the Fae rules lawyering+semantics?Because I really smiled when it happened.
>>35601417Asher's ultimate goal: Become Magic Tangela
>>35601497I was surprised when he started knocking on the river. I thought Asher walked more than 20ft.
>>35601497Not really Asher gets fucked with summons and astral entities like every other thread. It's par for the course at this point.
>>35601497Well yeah, I'm not really sure how we could predict that business was a bad thing. Except maybe the fact that family and friends had a different knock but that was a subtle hint at best
>>35601497I knew we were about to get fucked from the second the number of knocks got stressed like it did. I can't say I expected to literally get fucked, but I'm not really surprised by it either.
>>35601575It's better than, say, Luci. I don't think we should stick around any one specific woman long enough for her to go crazy again, though.
>>35601497Why does everything want the D? Is the D really that powerful, Dran-Sama?
Shoulda talked to Faust.
>>35601663But we need fairies, Anonymous! Don't you believe in fairies?
>>35601702Best believe in fairies.Btw, the trolls the dryad, the faeries, and the nymph are all recruitable.
>>35601791I like the fairies. They're annoying, but they did try to help us. I guess. Coulda been quicker on the draw with the whole "It's a rape-lake" thing, but I suppose they didn't expect someone to knock on the rape lake 4 times either.
>>35601791We need all the faeries. They're the best.
>>35601791>trolls>pluralI thought we just saw one?
>>35601892Yeah, just the one.
>>35601892I'm also glad you guys didn't try to brute force the troll. Gotta follow faerie law.Like the natural order of things.
>>35601791I honestly can't see any of them being useful to what we want to do. I'd rather just shunt assloads of power into Legna and having her tear things apart.
>>35602079Last thread Asher had an understanding about creating worlds and this entire endeavor was about bringing magical creatures back to nature.
>>35602113There's a difference between recruitable astral beings and potential candidates to be given bodies and dumped in the woods somewhere.
>>35602160Both of which are valuable things Asher wants to have on hand.
>>35602227Not so much. The dryad especially doesn't seem like it'd be down with Asher's brand of work.
>>35602254Hang around in forests, grow shit, and kill people that try to stop you?
>>35602317You not read the conversation with her? She didn't seem all that receptive to the idea.
>>35602351Okay, I guess so. She could still be useful, though. If a fucking dryad can't grow a forest, nobody can.
So, uh, how was this thread?
>>35602429Felt incredibly short, but it was alright I guess.
>>35602429I think all the fae here are annoying as fuck and I wish we'd done pretty much any of the other options instead .
>>35602429Now that he mentioned it, it did feel kind of short. It could just be in my head, though. It's unfortunate that Morgan left, but it's fine, and we got somewhere good for it. I hope she didn't just leave because she was mad at us, though.
Adversary could be Father Assrape.Deadeye and Duelist could both either be Jackie or Hunter.
>>35602605Well, we got Hunter two things; a gun, and a purpose. So Deadeye sounds pretty likely, unless he decided to purge what little he got from the Followers. If we assume he jumped for a new leaf, I'd suspect it was Stag.
>>35602687...Fucked up copying it again.
>>35602702Hey, wait, where's our good friend Tony?
>>35602653Hunter's actually a different thing.I'd call him either "The Predator" "The Nimrod" or "The Stalker"
>>35602771So what you're saying is that you fancy Hunter something of a hunter?
>>35602767Tony is "The Keeper."
>>35602767We don't know what he is. I thought he was Lovely Shadow at first, but Dran said that's not him.
>>35602785And that "The Stag" doesn't refer to a cervine.
>>35602787What about Eshe and Jackie? They dead now, so it's not like it matters if we know.
>>35602845For that matter, we were The Alchemist, right?

>>35602950Asher really is fucking crazy, isn't he?
>>35602886>And Jackie is the Vector. She's so tough to deal with...Man, I wonder how bullshit she'd have gotten if her spine had remained inside her body.

Here's some more.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iglesia_MaradonianaThe Iglesia Maradoniana (English: Church of Maradona; literally Maradonian Church ) is a religion, created by fans of the retired Argentine football player Diego Maradona, who they believe to be the best player of all time.
>>35603044Although I pretty sure that one was a joke but it's still kinda funny. Might have a dozen people who would take that seriously though. What's the number needed to become a minor god anyways?
>>35603082I don't think a dozen is enough to become a full-blown god, but it probably gets them a meager astral presence.
So, Morgan was alive at some point. I'm going to guess that she was actually a human when she was alive and not a fae.I wonder if Asher's muh treeees thing will result in him getting astral-fied as some kind of fae forest lord thing.
>>35603328So, who votes for opening up with rage beast next thread?
