This thread will not advance the quest or pick up from where we left, but just go over the story up to now. This is for the benefit of any new readers.First thread is already archived at:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/35040735/And the entire quest is archived at:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Solar%20QuestAs always, any questions and/or relevant discussions are welcome and I will answer to them at the best of my ability. If you're new to Exalted but think this Quest might be interesting, know that it's meant to be as newbie-friendly as possible. If you want to know more about the setting in general, http://1d4chan.org/wiki/ExaltedWe left our heroine Maka right after meeting with a bunch of new people. After that, she heads back to the western side of the island, where she still has some stuff to take care of. For now, her base of operations is Silk's fortress within the remaining Wyldland. She fulfills her promise to the Water Court and, in the process, realizes the full implications of Sirens' habit of seducing sailors and dragging them down to the depths of the sea. And decides she's going to fix that.
The deal is this: they will get a Manse as a shrine dedicated to them out of a smaller Demesne on a tiny isle off the coast. You will also do your best to mediate between them and mortals. But they must promise to not harm any sailor anymore. If they make themselves useful (good seas, good fishing, etc) and manage to make sailors not afraid of them any more, they will get not just more sailors for their fun, but also prayer and worship as local gods. The fact that Maka completely demolished them helps.Mikahil finallt returns to Tianna, on a strange, exotic-looking ship with complex, intricate sails and a sleek hull. He introduces Valeriana Kava to us, the inventor of this new type of ship and generally frustrated, awkward, and easily distracted Twilight. He has a brief chat with Maka on the subject of Solars in general. Maka, being, at this point, a highly visible one, will probably end up acting as a rallying point for at least a few of them, like it happened with him and Valeriana. He says he has no problems working with Maka, since she seemed like a good person in his eyes, but he also reminds her that he has his own intentions.
>>35234985PfthahahahaIt looks like Maka has a birthday hat on...Woo more EQ
>>35235300You should've seen some of the older birthday hat pics.
The two of them go and meet Valeriana at the Demesne, who was so engrossed in studying its geomancy that she forgot about anything else. She’s interested in setting shop on the island and might work with Maka, mostly because she wants somewhere where she can work in peace at her projects without worrying about making a mess of normal governments in the process, or causing torch-and-pitchfork mobs or anything like that. She also has no idea how to find sponsors or support for her ideas, which means that working for other Solars is exactly what she’s looking for because they can handle everything else while giving her what she needs do to her thing. She’d also like a manse for herself, of course, but that comes after. Maka explains that for now she can’t promise that, but she’ll have full support in every other respect.Together, you three solars begin to plan a new city that will rise in western Tianna, centered around a majestic Solar-aspected Manse. Built to impress, to last, and to be a bastion of the glory of the Unconquered Sun: Pearl.Mikahil, the more politically-savvy of the three of you, points it out that this is a chance to prove to everyone that Solars can be a powerful force for good, justice and order in Creation, and that you must absolutely not botch this.He will be on board if you’ll have him be in charge of the trade and economy of the city, which he intends to use as the centerpiece of a future network of just and fair trade throughout Creation, aimed at improving the distribution of wealth and the quality of life. And, while chatting, he drops a fact that Maka did not know about: the lifespan of Solars is somewhere around 5000 and 7000 years, something she did not know.
>>35235369oh god thats funny
>>35235370>Dat corset>Dem legsWe need to 'thank' her vigorously and sensually when Pearl is finished.
They agree that the Manse will be Solar-Aspected (a very tough and debated vote for /tg/), and that i twill not produce a Hearthstone, its entire power channelled in blessings and facilities for the Manse itself and the surrounding city, including an Artificial Intelligence controlling it.One of the problems is money. To get the construction effort really going, you’ll have to take out the Lintha preying on shipping. Even better, if you managed to take out their local base at the Black Isle and steal their loot, all those riches would go a long way towards paying for the project.Later, you sacrifice some cattle to Yaraon as per promise before the battle. His child will naturally become the god of the plains of Western Tianna, he informs you.
>>35235425>His childMan I still remember Dancing Smoke's smug when she told us she got him pregnant
Oh hey, it's argue about sluts the thread, again.
>>35235498Oh boy here we go again
You spend the next weeks in downtime: you recruit workers from Freeport and Tianna and train your navy. You also learn that a single person’s death does not automatically open a screaming, everlasting portal connecting permanently the world of the living and the world of the dead, something which for some reason you thought happened. As a result, there are no known shadowlands in Tianna for you to pay a visit to the Underworld with. Pity, that would have been really convenient. Your next step will be to try and tackle the Immaculate problem. Tianna has a decent Immaculate presence, and they, of course, don’t like you. Amata gives you some advice on how to handle them, but it sounds like trouble waiting to happen in any case.
>>35235498>>35235522So, from our current evidence:1. The wording was used for shock value 2. Aside from Solar magic and such, it eventually comes out that it's either physically impossible for Maka to achieve triple digits (if they were "full" partners), or exceedingly boring.3. The Great Curse could work both ways in this, and as such isn't an argument for it happening
Meanwhile, we get another “extra” thread… from an Abyssal PoV. We wake up in a dark room in the Shadowsteel Fortress, and are greeted by Feurdelis as a new Deathknight for the Tyrant of the Doomsday Machine. We have fragmented memories of piracy and a loot too big to share, and a large cut across our head and over an eye to remind us how it ended.Apparently our new Deathlord has a soft spot for those that have been betrayed. We agree to serve her, but we can’t remember our name for the Neverborn to devour. We find out that she IS after Tianna, but she’s interested, specifically, in the original source of Tianna’s First Age weapons. She doesn’t tell us everythihng, though, probably because we’re still unrpoven.Surprisingly, she also says she doens’t particularly want to kill Tianna’s citizens or damage the city, and this is why they act cautiously instead of steamrolling over it.We are issued a snazzy new ship, given a ghostly lieutenant, and some free time to get even with our former crew.
>>35235678For fucks sake anon, just stop, your posts were not welcome three threads ago, they aren't welcome now.
>>35235705But it's fucking true anon, stop defending OP's shitty decisions
>>35235705He's right though, entire thing was just for shock value
>>35235716Stop derailing threads.
>>35235716You're a shitty decision.
>>35235705I don't think it's a problem of whether it's welcome or not any more really
>>35235725>DetrailingSeems to be perfectly on topic to me
>>35235727You a shit too
>>35235725Seems on topic to me
>>35235739>>35235749It's not, and it hasn't been on topic for months, you ruined the last two of these threads and every other thread you shat up with this discussion, so take it elsewhere.
>>35235758>YouThat's two different people there Anon
>>35235758>Implying it's one person
>>35235762I know, and they both keep shitting up threads
>>35235770>BothThere's more than two you know
Meanwhile, in Tianna, Maka meets with Five Tails, Mikahil’s Lunar Mate, who posed as his pet cheetah up to now. Apparently she’s skilled in stealth and infiltration work, and is just the person you need to help you solve the Immaculate problem without causing a mess with your usual subtlety. With her and Zareen assisting you, you hatch a plan.…The plan is mostly to let the two of them do their thing, actually. While they do, we visit Pyre Spark, who has been bullied and abused by the Immaculates. Apparently not even the soliders posted to her protection are enough. In any case, you help her lead a prayer to lift the morale of the Cult of the Sun in Tianna, and persuade them to move to Pearl, or rather the site that will be Pearl in the future (hopefully). You then meet up with Admiral Rajan and talk about the Lintha and how to take out their fortress at the Black Island (or Black Atoll, most seem to call it that), get a report on Tianna’s fleet strength, and decide that your operation against them will have to be sudden and lightning-fast.We also give a full training course at Pyre Spark, maxing out her combat stats.
>>35235762>>35235769>>35235775Is your English really this bad?You is a plural...
>>35235792More specifically it can be a collective noun
>>35235777We really need to 'praise' Pyre's 'suns'
>>35235792Yes my English is that bad, sue me.
>>35235809>Wanting to continue being the sluttiest slut that's ever slutted
We find out that Running Swallow was originally an Immaculate agent sent to spy on us, but now he’s so confused and conflicted that he comes out clean. He still hates us though, possibly more than before, but our Solar charisma has messed with his head and judgement, and he realizes that.He basically gives up at this point, realizes that his mission has failed, and leaves. In general, your intel tells you that there are three DB immaculates in Tianna, and they seem split, with one of them who wants direct action, a second trying to speak for a more calm approach, and the third trying to keep the first two from coming to blows. You then resolve to travel north to the Lunar lands, to see how Talon is recovering and how Tia is handling her new job of being a tribal leader for the Black Fang Tribe.
>>35235836Man, what a cool dude.
The Black Fangs seem to be fairly advanced both technologically and magically, as far as seminomadic tribes go. We meet with Iscariah, the tribe’s shaman, and chat a bit while waiting for Tia to get back to the village. She apparently missed Maka a lot.Once together, you do some catching up and resolve that, with the way Tianna is changing (especially with the creation of pearl in the west), the best course of action might be to completely unify Tianna, Pearl and the Three Rivers in a single entity. We also find out an interesting fact. Apparently the island’s soil contains a brass-like metallic substance called Admiral’s Gold, a component in First Age military hardware.
I don't much see the point in these recap threads, it seems to brew arguments, bring back old hatters and "debates", and as such make people who actually like the quest leave/not pay attention to them at all.Attracting new players would simply be easier by actually running the quest, as several anons actually like archive binging old quests. Or the entire recap thing could be pre-written, and either put in a pastebin designated by arc, or posted all in one thread.
>>35235893>Once together, you do some catching up and resolve that, with the way Tianna is changing (especially with the creation of pearl in the west), the best course of action might be to completely unify Tianna, Pearl and the Three Rivers in a single entity.Okay I'm confused, did I miss something?
>>35235894Its for new people and to catch people up on what they may have missed or forgotten. It's not EF's fault if the retards want to shit up threads, the threads don't brew arguments, the shitposters just argue
>>35235906In that case the Pastebins or pre-writing the entire thing so one thread can contain it seems like the best idea.See though, EF's letting it happen though, in a moving, running, living thread this sort of arguing is either completely out of steam the second time it's mentioned, or ran over by the steam of new arguments about the now and what's happening in thread
After returning to Tianna, it’s time to act against the Immaculates. Amata gives us some critical advice. Her idea is to sponsor the growth, in Tianna, of a branch of the Immaculate Faith that is more tolerant of Solars. To do that, Maka must get the three Immaculates currently in Tianna off the island without using violence, or at the very least without looking like the bad guy.Which means not starting a fight, and even if they start it, no killing.Practical as ever, she even suggests using Pyre Spark as a bait to lure out the more aggressive of the three Immaculates.Maka of course doesn’t like that, but now Pyre Spark is pretty tough for a mortal, so it might work without too much of a risk. The trap is sprung and the Immaculate, Peleps Deled, shows up and tries to break up a gathering of the Cult of the Sun. Violently. Fortunately, you have Zareen as backup. The two Exalted start with trash-talking each other, but the whole thing spirals in a fight pretty quickly.
>>35235903I thought it was an alliance we decided on, not a single nation.Good thing we're recapping, hah! I had forgotten a lot of things.
>>35236067there was a fair amount of debate about it, but the final vote had single nation win by a couple of votes
FUCK YEAH EXALTD QUEST (RECAP)
>>35236067>>35236079I remember a bunch of talk about a federation or something, but thats all I remember about it
The fight is violent and very close, and, although Deled is surprised by Pyre Spark’s sudden display of proficiency in close combat.Eventually, it takes all of your skill and endurance, Pyre Spark’s assistance, a poisoned arrow from Zarren, and an additional wound dealt by an unknown, hidden attacked to bring the big bastard down. You strip him of his armor and weapons and chuck him back on the ship he came on.Apparently that extra blow came from Five Tails. She didn’t help you because she cared, of course, she just wanted to make sure you didn’t die because that would upset Mikahil’s plans. [/tsun]Part B of the plan is seducing the other immaculates, and it work sas planned. You manage to persuade one of them, Ragara Yuumei, that you’re not some skin-wearing monster, and…
…we cut to Valeriana planning the Manse. After setting the Demesne up to be converted to a Solar-aspected one, she plans for it to be built like an insanely tall tower. But, while digging the foundation, she finds a fragment of an Orichalcum daiklave. Investigating it, she quickly finds out a distressing fact: Geologically, Tianna makes no sense. There is no bedrock foundation upon which the island rests, despite it having mountains and even a volcano. Also, the land where you’re building used to be Wyld. Wyld being puched back doesn’t spontaneously spawn pieces of broken artifact weapons.Sifting through the soil she’s moving, she find several bits and pieces of the broken daiklave. She melts them down with Dancing Smoke’s help. This metal will be used to make some artifact weapons for Maka, a new set of tools for Valeriana, and to improve the tower’s structural strength.According to the plan, the underground level of the tower will house the core and control room, where the magical energy is channeled and focused. It will also have a war room, stockpiles of armor and weapons, and be generally designed as an emergency/war layer, heavily armored and reinforced, and including secret passages.
>>35236187passages or escape routes? i dont mind either way, but i thought it was just going to be a way out in times of PANIC
>>35236187>She melts them down with Dancing Smoke’s helpoh yeah, that was fun. Poor DS doesn't get to fluster anyone anymore.
>>35236213Both, mostly the latter.Meanwhile, yes, Maka has solved the Immaculate problem with her bedroom skills Problem solved.Okay, not solved, not really, yeah. But at least delayed. The Immaculates end up leaving the island. You have no idea what they’re going to tell to their boss in the Realm.Continuing with the plans in preparation for the assault on the Black Atoll, you and Amata agree that you should find a way to make a truce with the Abyssals, just to be sure that they are not going to attack while you’re tied up against the Lintha. You meet up with Phoenix and, after a bit of bickering and back-and-forth, he agrees on speaking to his people about a truce for one week, on a few conditions: at least giving some serious considerations to their offers. Taking them seriously instead of rejecting all their requests off-hand. Not least because it’s a good way to prevent a war, since they WANT Tianna and they’re not going to stop trying. He also wants to exchange hostages.
The next day, you overhear Amata and Mikahil talking to each other about the Abyssals’ motives, keeping secrets from you, but Amata notices you before you can learn anything new. You tell her about the deal with Phoenix, and insist that she inform you of what she knows. She replies that she is going to show you, but she’ll not tell you anything, and accompanies you to a secret passage carrying you under the castle.A tunnel connects the castle with the magma chamber of Dancing Smoke’s volcano, where you find out that the heat feeding the lava is artificial, generated by a running Essence vent connected to some immense piece of machinery deep under the island.Exploring it, you finally realize what has been Tianna’s secret: the island lies atop a giant First Age flying fortress. This is the source of Admiral’s Gold in the soil, of Tianna’s First Age artillery, and probably what the Abyssals are after. This doesn’t explain why they don’t want to kill anyone or wipe out the city, and doesn’t tell us what they want to do with it.We leave Maka just as she begins to feel memory flooding back into her from a distant life. She knows this place. It’s called a Directional Titan. It’s The Flame that Marched against the Sea.
While this happens, Regis and Millian have a date, and they drop by Pyre’s temple to meet her.…And something is SERIOUSLY wrong there. They find themselves locked up inside the building and attacked by a ghost, and manage to keep it at bay only by running to the Altar, where they find a shocked and hallucinating Pyre being delirious.Regis understands what’s happening: the ghost tried to force information out of her. About the Titan. And wouldn’t take “I don’t know” for an answer. He knows because the ghost is doing the same thing to his head. Of course, he has no idea what a Titan is, either. The three mortals manage to escape by setting fire to the temple and smashing a window, are pursued by the ghost in the streets, and are saved by Phoenix’s intervention, who claims that that ghost is not on his side, but an agent of some other Deathlord. After returning to Amata’s castle and recovering from the ordeal, Regis informs her of everything. She doesn’t tell him that Maka is currently under the castle and pretends not to know. And she informs Regis that, for the truce to be valid, there must be an exchange of hostages, and persuades Regis to offer himself as a volunteer, to go with the Abyssals.
Whew. Finally done. This is the story up to now, more or less. Next thread will pick up from where we left. Will be Tomorrow, probably.I'll be hanging around for this thread, answering to any question or request you might have.
>>35236401Thanks for the recap, glad we're finally getting back to Maka and friends funtimeI need my Tia fix
>>35236256>>35236379>hostagesImo, we handled that badly. We should have waitedfor Maka to talk to Regis first.I'm not convinced that was the real Amata[spoilers]
>>35236401I got nothing, for now. I just want to get into the quest proper again, hurry hurry~
>>35236420That's a very real possibility unless Amata left Maka down there unchaperoned.Sadly Regis is only a Heroic Mortal at best so when the exalted queen of the island purportedly talks to him he probably wouldn't have been able to really realize anything.
>>35236420 neither am I.
>>35236430True, but we had the option of refusing it until Maka came back.Ah, the dilemma of IC vs OOC...
>>35236401I was a bit skeptical about Pearl, but now I'm getting hyped for it again. How do you plan on balancing Pearl and the rest again? Timeskips?
>>35236447I hope not random timeskips, I loved what EF did earlier where while Pearl was getting the foundation planned and excavated he gave us other things to do.I don't like turning quest progress into "click to end turn"
>>35236401Are you still giving rewards for fanart?
>>35236420I had the impression all or at least most people assumed it was not the real Amata.
>>35236401Can we make Maka a bigger slut? Please?Maka isn't Maka without her nymphomania! This post is mostly a joke. Mostly.
>>35236460>>35236447I like Pearl, although I hope it doesn't become a "Mandate of Heaven" like kingdom building element. Because I for one would really like for Maka to return to Gem at some point.
>>35236497Well, time to learn how to draw. See you in two years, EF, you hetter still be running by then.
>>35236497So what did we get for the drawings Decu did in his threads and the pic that one anon commissioned?
>>35236522Some extra XP, unless that person makes a specific request.Incidentally I can be reached on IRC both on suptg and on rizon/#QMC for this sort of things.
>>35236542By the way, can you satisfy my autism to answer one question? In a sexual sense, what is a "Partner"?
>>35236542Cool, I'll try and repost all the ones that have been done so far, not sure if I saved them all
>>35236323>This doesn’t explain why they don’t want to kill anyone or wipe out the cityOOC it actually does explain it, although Mka wouldn't know. They can't risk making a Shadowland on top of the Directional Titan, both because that risks some other Deathlord finding out about it, and more importantly because the Titan is powered by ambient Essence, which the Shadowland would prevent it from drawing in.
>>35236581Well, that's okay then. Guess I'll have to assume what it means for that commission I was thinking of
>>35236580Thank you kind anon for commissioning this one
>>35236597And the loods version: http://i.imgur.com/aIG9j9R.png
>>35236187>she plans for it to be built like an insanely tall tower.Still disappointed it isn't a pyramide for maximum PRAISE SOL!
>>35236607Fuck, I almost crashed my car. That's pretty awesome, though the link says it's been removed.
>>35236692Did we go with the lighthouse at the top?
>>35236692Well, we can save the pyramid for another time, another place.I mean, why stop at only one giant cool place to worship based sun? We're Exalted.
>>35236736I think ? I'm not sure if we went with Lighthouse or Cathedral that had a lighthouse on top.
>>35236747I suppose we can do that when taking Gem, its already vaguely pyramid shaped.

So, as someone who has no experience with exalted outside this quest, what's the deal with storm mothers and why do they want to brutally murder us?
>>35236822because we're hot and they ain't, thats pretty much itbut don't worry, one of our pirate captains is going to crusade against them and rescue all the sea nymphs they have and make women welcome on the seas once more so they stop being lesbians because all the men leave to sail
>>35236822Storm Mothers are ugly hags and are jealous of all people, mostly women, who are prettier than them.Hence why sailing isis only for men in the West because the Storm Mothers have ugly habit of sinking ships that have women more beautiful than them, read, all women. There is a whole bunch of exceptions and rules around that shit but thats basically it.
>>35236822Storm Mothers are the reason women are not allowed on ships in the West. They hate all women more beautiful than themselves, which means they hate all women. And they're storm gods, so that's bad news for ships.
>>35236847>>35236845>>35236835To be fair, Rudira (Western goddess of ships) plays a role in this too, since she also hates all sailing women, except those with red-hair.Western seafaring gods are weird and fucked up bunch. Lets not even talk about Siakal.
>>35236862Speaking of Siakal, we might want to get on her good side for our battle against the Lintha and for when the Immaculates come back. She loves to get sacrificed dragon-blooded afterall, and we really only need to throw them wounded overboard.
>>35236835>>35236845>>35236847So they're proper gods of more importance than dancing smoke, not like our little harem of water elementals? Do they screw with Lintha, or are they so butt-ugly and mutated that they get ignored?
>>35236931Mostly the latter, also Lintha are very good at bribing or bullying gods to have them on their side. They're the mob, remember.
>>35236931They are proper gods, and definitly of more importance than Dancing Smoke, who is pretty minor as still sentient gods go.Mostly the Lintha are crazy dangerous and not as easily kicked around, they bribe other gods, or corce them thanbks to their huge number of demon-blooded.The fact that the Lintha have been around longer than the Storm Mothers might play a role too.
The joke with the Lintha here is, for those not familiar with Exalted, that they are the "descendants" and worshippers of Kimbery, the primordial also known as the "Sea that Marched against the Flame".
>>35236782Eh, anything to not have to work while there's a thread running.Anyway, appreciated, anon. Even if I'm mad jealous that your lewd commission was faster than mine.
>>35236989I didn't commission anything, just reposted that considerate anons have posted before
>>35236943Are lintha a west-exclusive phenomenon? And one other thing, how old is Tia, if such a thing is known?
>>35237016>Are lintha a west-exclusive phenomenon?Yes
>>35237016Mostly, they do show up in An-Teng to sell their shit from time to time, which is South-West, but otherwise yes, luckily they are.
>>35237001Huh. I must have misse it, then.
>>35236379Fucking Amata offering Regis as a hostage, without asking Maka too.
>>35237382If that was even her. DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN
You know, going about the notes for directional titans again there is a reason tinna stands mostly on a layer of rock as amata said
>>35236401Just wanted to say that it's great to have you back, EF. I can't wait to see some old faces once again!
>>35236943>dude makes an awesome ST>knows who to make interesting elements >knows what his players wants>knows his setting to the tiniest detailsi'd vote for you if you're going for president.... maybe even for dictatorthough a thousand thanks for keeping me thinking about better things with your effortYou're helpful in ways you can't magine

>>35238028We'll never know unless we try.Always aim for the stars, even if you miss you might land on a Sidereal.
>>35237999Well, we didn't exactly hit the ball out of the park with those immaculates. Also, getting Nyslea laid will probably prove to be the greatest challenge of them all.
>>35238079What about bedding our patron? He's more chaste then a ken puppet... and he could if he wanted
>>35238105Well, Nyslea has been trying to get into his pants for the past 10,000 years.
>>35238079>>35238122Proves my point... and if we ever get to the point we could get her to help us... i mean we have epic charisma afterall
>>35238079its Nysela actually. Exalted names are weird.>>35238167Well, we are building a gigantic temple to THE SUN. As the backup sun, she will probably notice eventually.
>>35238181Isn't she super busy working her ass off so UCS senpai will notice her?
>>35238215UCS senpai is so aloof.
>>35238181Then we probably should offer some artifacts to the sun, you know, in our temple/cathedral/lighhouse-of-DOOM-manse... tons of orichalcum prayer strips anyone?
>>35238215In RAW yeah, she works super hard while Sol NEETs it up playing the Games, I don't know how it will be different here though, EF has him taking a more active role with the Solars
>>35238215True. Of course, she just has to look down. Also, when Maka finally gets around to setting up the rules of her cult, she'll probably consult her fellow solar exalted for ideas. Valerina at least almost certainly knows of her (she has 11 dice towards abstract knowledge, so if she doesn't, no mortal would know of Nysela and she'd starve to death).
>>35238292Mr four arms is to compassionate to let his underlings starve, you know him being the embodiment of virtue and all
>>35238327Yeah, though my point was she's a rather obscure, but quite powerful if almost certainly rather weakened, god. She's not deep hidden lore.
>>35238292>rules of the cult>Communal prayers every morning with Maka or the active priest dancing baked while the faithful chant the prayers.>Mass every sunday is a city wide festival of naked dancers.>Sunbathe everyday for at least an hour total. >>35238411>dancing bakedThat's an amusing image, but it's supposed to be "naked".
>>35238411The five prayers, how to pray. Doctrine of how exalts, gods and mortals fit into the universe. The structure of the Cult, requirements on how to become a priest, ect.
>>35238446Please no doctrine, let's get and keep our followers by being a rolemodel and get them to be the same, afterwards, the faithfull get tiger-warrior'd and become kungfu-priest-missionarys
>>35238411tone down on the nakedness, we don't want to be proving the Realm's propaganda rightwe save those dances for just our friends and lovers and UCS Sempai
>>35238555We're building an organized religion. We need doctrine. It doesn't have to be made up bullshit like the imaculates, but we at least need to explain the fact the celestial exalts aren't monsters out to eat your souls, which means we have to tell them what Solars and Lunars are. Every religion needs a more or less coherent explanation of reality.
>>35238555But as a Zenith it's our job to set the doctorine for how to worship the sun. If we don't and just say "follow my example" we're failing in our duties.>>35238590>It doesn't have to be made up bullshit like the imaculatesMost of the Immaculate Faith is factual, that's how it got so popular. The only real lies are that Dragon-Bloods rather than Solars are the rightful Princes of the Earth and that Solars and Lunars are Anathema. There are a few other things, but overall it's not a bad religion unless you are a Solar or Lunar.Which Maka is, so that means it has to go.
>>35238590Yeah but let's not call it doctrine please, that reminds me of 1900 years of lost development in europe due to the churchAnd as long as we're the decision makin part in makas head that val will one day cut out, 'cause it started making her nose bleed, not tenets, for obvious reasons
>>35238555>kungfu-priest-missionary-bardsFtfy. Art and passion is something that goes very well with Maka and, consequently, her cult. It should take after her methods of praising the sun, after all.
>>35238655And that's why I'm hoping our Sideral adviser is a Chosen of Serenity.
>>35238647>The only real lies are that Dragon-Bloods rather than Solars are the rightful Princes of the Earth and that Solars and Lunars are Anathema. There are a few other things, but overall it's not a bad religion unless you are a Solar or Lunar.Or if you're a member of the blessed races, or a godblooded, or a mortal essence user. The immaculate faith is designed to give the DB, and thus the realm a near monopoly on essence users. It doesn't succeed perfectly, but that doesn't stop them from trying.
>>35238588Ehh, no way! The naked part is the most important! Direct contact with the UCS' light and all that. It's also very Maka-ish, and she'd probably benefit from that. Would also make people more open minded and tolerant, imo. To quote Satsuki Kiryuin, to have shame is to admit defeat! Or something like that?I-it's not that I want Pyre Spark to d-dance naked too, not at all!
>>35238731>I-it's not that I want Pyre Spark to d-dance naked too, not at all! There are much easier and better ways to achieve that than undermining our city by turning it into a glorified nudist beach
>>35238731>wanting ugly old people praying naked
>>35238729QT airfolk worshiper when?
>>35238833Clearly doctrine one for this cult is FITNESSSculpt yourself with the worship of the sun!Inquire how within.
>>35238859Only if we also have an Earthfolk worshiper she has a crush on but is embarrassed to act on because she's afraid of what people will think
>>35238803That's not so bad, actually. Not too extreme, not so tame.I'd love for the cult to host sacred orgies and sexual festivals, as impossible/unbelievable as that will be
The last time we overdid the sex thing, BAD THINGS HAPPENED.Let's tone it down. For now.
>>35239125When was that? And what was the bad things that happened?
>>35239125What bads things happened? Name one negative consequence of our actions. Amata and a couple other people have said to tone it down, but there have never been any actual repercussions.
>>35239157>>35239163Maka herself apparently considered the excess of that orgy a bad thing in itself. So a bad thing did happen, at least from the perspective of the characters.
>>35239193Yes, the orgy was, arguably but let's not argue, a bad thing, but there has been no fallout from it, which is what >>35239125 implied with his post.
>>35239248While you are right that there hasn't been fallout from it yet. That may very well change. The Solars excesses caused their downfall, and while this was tame by Solar standarts, it can have repercussions if we don't tone it down. Btw, I absolutely want Maka to meet the Lover Clad in Raiments of Tears at some point.
>>35239193The bad thing was Maka thinking that was a bad thingWell, not really. As I see it, the problem was the loss of control and acting on a spur o the moment. Like...the festival was supposed to be X, but became X+XX; if it was supposed to be X+XX all along, it wouldn't be a bad thing. So it's not the sexual element that was wrong, but the unplanned change to add said element. I think that as long as it's all controlled and planned for, it shouldn't be a problem.
>>35239292Exaltations can influence the host if Lytek doesn't scrub them properly right? Do we know what Caste LCiRoT was?
>>35239324 Either Twilight or Eclipse Caste, I would assume Eclipse Caste seems more likely. I find it fairly sure that the Tyrant of the Doomsday Machine is Makas last First Age incarnation.
>>35239324Kinda sorta, not the Exaltation itself, more the memories attached to it, it's not like they make you do anything either, you just start remembering things you've never done or seen
Since the fight with Deled could have went better, what is the best way to beef up her combat prowess?Buying up Dawn? Physical? More charms? Different MA styles? Snake style is a native style right?
>>35239376Most Martial Arts styles, especially Terrestrial ones, are just inferior to Solar Hero style.Best way to beef her up would be improving dawn and Solar Hero style. Or of course, get her some more artifact weapons. More Resistance Charms would be good too.
>>35238411>chantChants are shit, make it energetic freeform music instead. People who can't sing, dance, or play an instrument just pound on surfaces to keep the beat. You're not offering specific, worded prayers, you're simply praising the sun with beautiful sounds and motions. The worded sort of prayers - the ones where you ask the Sun or other gods for things, instead of just offering him praise and prayer-juice - should be saved for occasions where Maka's there to help by sanctifying their prayers and offering a sacrifice to help see them answered.>You shall not wear clothes that cover more than half of your body. That's bad and dumb. Sometimes you're somewhere cold, or need armor, or have an embarrassing feature, or whatever. Just include a tenet in support of feeling the sun with your skin. Make the sunlight on your skin be a gift from the Sun, something that people should want to soak in, rather than a formally-proscribed mandate.Ultimately, the cult should be ecstatic, happy, and more concerned with pleasure, happiness, prosperity, and kindness than any sort of formalize restrictions or practices.
>>35239399Snake is a CMA.
>>35239415I wasn't trying to imply otherwise.
>>35239376Increasing Dawn and Phys will get our parry up making it harder to hit us along with just giving more hit them dice, getting more MAs is just a XP sink in the quest, we want to focus on increasing Solar Hero Style, actually getting those artifacts from Valeriana should help us out a ton, not only do they add to our damage if they're like Tia's sword they should give us more dice too, might even be better
>>35239429>>35239434I'm looking for cheap and effective, not expensive and powerful.Although since combat is her 'other' core competency, maybe expensive is the way to go...
>>35239400That was supposed to be a joke, but your ideas are pretty good and I will endorse them.
>>35239415Its still not as good as more Solar Hero style, Terrestrial styles are just even worse. Only a few CMA are actually good, like the some of the Elemental Dragon ones. And some are just broken but its impossible to tell how good they would be in this Version.
>>35239456Then you should definitly go with Resistance, Dawn and Brawl Charms. Way more cost effective than Martial Arts styles.
>>35239456If you want Expensive, we need to figure out who the Sidereal EF implied existed is and have them teach us Sidereal Martial Arts.Saphiter Veil of Passion Style when?
>>35239399>Or of course, get her some more artifact weapons.Well, that's covered.
>>35239193>>35239248Eh, I don't see why it was a bad thing, other than it being sudden. No one got hurt or raped, no UMI was used, etc.
>>35239399>Most Martial Arts styles, especially Terrestrial ones, are just inferior to Solar Hero style.Utter nonsense. First of all, that's only true under 2e canon rules, which this game is not. Second of all, it's not even very true. Most martial arts are inferior to Solar Hero Style at its SPECIALTY, which is brute-force hitting, hitting really fast, throwing people, and down-and-dirty wrestling. It's a core, meat-and-potatoes, 'I'm just trying to beat you up style.'Other martial arts have other specialties - if you only look at them in terms of how well they compete with Solar Hero's specialty, they're obviously going to fall flat. But, for example, White Veil lets you attack a person without anyone even noticing that your gentle caress was an attack. It lets your attacks afflict people with horrible, lethal magical maladies that kill them weeks from now instead of inflicting damage.Crane Style makes you utterly magnificent at parrying, counterattacks, and nonlethal takedowns, though very poor at Solar Hero style fighting. Now, mind you, I totally agree that we should bring up Dawn and Physical and take more Solar Hero stuff. That's ABSOLUTELY Maka's style. I'm only disagreeing with the statement that other martial arts aren't as good as it; they're only not as good as it when it comes to brute forcing someone through a building, which isn't the end-all or be-all of combat.
>>35239486>SVOP'Better' than Solar Hero? Lewds are not a metric here...Who am i kidding, of course it is.
>>35239456Diving into other MAs would be more expensive than just continuing along Solar Hero>>35239485We should think about increasing Zenith to 5 soon so we can pick up a perfect defense, might also want to think about increasing Mental to 3 for that extra essence
>>35239534Huh, PDs.Erm, yeah gonna need a word of god on how necessary they are/will be.
>>35239504You don't, Maka did. Lets just leave the topic.>>35239496We get only very little from the reforged Orichalcum, we definitly need more. Warstrider when ? >>35239514>'I'm just trying to beat you up style.'Which is exactly what Maka does, if he would have asked for combat improvement for another haracter it would have been different, but for Maka terrestrial styles are just a XP dump. Most of their effects simply aren't worth the Xp for her purposes when she could get Charms that help her more. And of course its only true in 2e mechanics, I can't know how he changed them for this one.
>>35239547Nobody is trying to take terrestrial styles!Snake is CMA, Crane is CMA.Hell, even Laughing Wounds and Swallowing Darkness are CMAs for gods sake!
>>35239547>Which is exactly what Maka doesRight, which is why I agreed with this statement:>That's ABSOLUTELY Maka's style.I'm agreeing with what we should do, and what we should take. I'm just disagreeing with the statement that Solar Hero is necessarily the best style. It's the best style FOR MAKA. Not necessarily the best style period.
>>35239542I don't think they're like RAW necessary, we won't ever one-shotted and EF has mentioned that even if we lose our health we won't just be killed like that.
>>35239566>Nobody is trying to take terrestrial styles! And no one said anyone intended that. You should follow the conversation better which was about how good Terrestrial styles are compared to Solar Hero.>>35239580>that Solar Hero is necessarily the best styleI said "most" for a good reason, some Celestial styles have niches and effects which are pretty good and worth pursuing if your fighting style goes that way, I specifically mentioned the Elemental Dragon styles as example.
Does Resistance do anything for us combat-wise?
>>35239643It allows us to take hits better. So yes, in the very lethal world of Exalted-Combat its very very useful.
>>35239643A lot. IKB. Our main, big ticket defense charm is in resistance.
>>35239643Yeah, it's our Soak ability. It's what gives us the charms that make our skin as tough as iron. It's under Zenith. Zenith also gives us the charms that let us swim in magma and breathe underwater.Zenith is all about surviving ANYTHING and ANYWHERE just as much as it is about being an unstoppable social juggernaut.
Where is Valerianas picture from ? I can't seem to find it.
>>35239547Fair enough, I will drop the subject. On the matter of fighting, I'd like to ser Maka mastering a few ranged attacks, more as a precaution than a necessity.
>>35239666It's an original piece
>>35239672I'd rather get better Athletic charms to control distance better.
>>35239694I do want to pick up Lightning Speed and maybe get Night up to 3
>>35239672Well, Solar Hero does let you throw people, Dawn includes Thrown, and we did throw an entire wall at jetpack skeletons in thread 1. So, I wouldn't be at all opposed to picking up a few charms that let us throw boulders/people/actual weapons at things. That said, if we pick up enough Night/Athletics mobility charms, we could just jump/super speed our way to anything outside of our reach.Honestly, I'd very much like to pick up a Thrown charm that lets us throw any object without penalty, and a second one that dramatically increases Thrown range. Just so we can use Thrown+Solar Hero to use people as projectile weapons. I'm not particularly interested in anything beyond that, though.
>>35239672I want to add a Firewand to one of our Smashfists
>>35239716I'd be down for this. Solar Hero really does mesh incredibly well with Thrown. They make for good extensions of each other, instead of being forced to feel like we're taking a hit to one in favor of the other. Hell, if Heaven Thunder Hammer works the way I think it does (that's the one that lets us hit people really far, right?) we might be able to literally punch people into other people with the right Dawn charms.Or kick a building at someone. All of that sounds very Maka.
>>35239728Firewands aren't range weapons in the sense that he meant, they are mini-flamethrowers.We would need a Plasma tongue repeater or some form of essence cannon. Maybe we can find something like that in the Titan.
>>35239750>>35239716Heaven thunder hammer isn't good enough?Punch guy A into mook B.
>>35239728I think gunfists are dumbSorry
>>35239787I don't think it offers precise-enough aiming. A Thrown charm might let us Heaven Thunder Hammer stuff into other stuff with sharpshooter precision. Kick a boulder through an airship, bowl through an entire army with a cavalryman's horse, that kind of thing.Thrown patches any range problems Solar Hero Style has nicely - and would probably only require one or, at very most, two charms to do so.
>>35239796Your face is dumb.Not sorry.
>>35239796I think that's your opinion and I respect it, even though I disagree with it
>>35239694>>35239716I meant it as a precaution in case we find someone or something we need to keep distance from; like a fire Dragon-blooded's anima.Range control is good, yes, and might be useful against opponents who want to keep their distance from Maka, but without a ranged manuevers we can't do anything against those who want to get up close and personal.
>>35239861well with how we've fought so far, if someone wanted to get up close and personal what we do is get close and personal right back.We haven't been very subtle in terms of fightan' so far.
>>35239861Uh, be better in hand to hand?Barring guys like Ragara Myrrun, hth is our best bet.And against those guys, run.
>>35239429>>35239415This is in response to asking of Snake is a 'native' style. Technically, it isn't: it's a CMA, instead of a native Hero style. That being said, I remember some shit about it being so common among First Age Solars that many Solars can learn Snake Charms without a sifu. So I guess they're 'native' in the sense that you can learn them untaught. They're not native in the sense that you can't design expansion Charms and variant routes, though, which you could for Hero Charms.
>>35239861Then, again, HTH+Thrown is probably our best bet - both for enemies we can't close to, and for enemies we don't WANT to close to. Kick walls, throw dudes, and otherwise hurl things at people with ridiculous blows.
>>35238215She works so hard she frequently passes out from exhaustion. Gods don't need to sleep or rest.
>>35239357I'm not going to spoiler this since it's just speculation, but why do we think the Tyrant is Maka's First Age incarnation, again? I'm not saying she isn't, I just wanted a reminder. Also, a general lore question to help my memory. Deathlords are the ghosts of First Age Solars who are empowered by the Neverborn. Does that mean that their powers and Charms are all just inverted Solar stuff that they remember how to make work since they don't have their original Solar Exaltation?
>>35240110>why do we think the Tyrant is Maka's First Age incarnation, again?Because it would be thematically impressive, and the Tyrant is a super-lewd social badass.>Does that mean that their powers and Charms are all just inverted Solar stuff that they remember how to make work since they don't have their original Solar Exaltation? No. They have special super ghost charms, supercharged by having a mainline of deathly mojo directly from the Neverborn. They can teach the inverted Solar charms to their Deathknights (Abyssals) but are incapable of actually activating them on their own since they are just ghosts. That said, their special Deathlord charms are every bit as powerful as Solar charms.
>>35240154>social badass. Is she, we didn't really see much of her when we were playing as Baron
>>35240154They also know any martial arts and non-solar circle sorcery they knew in life.
>>35240110>why do we think the Tyrant is Maka's First Age incarnationNarrative causality.
>>35240110Mainly because she is involved with the Directional Titan we now know Makas last incarnation commanded, which would explain how she knows about it being here in the first place.
>>35240296Self-correction: That the last incarnation of Makas exaltation commanded. Which is not the same thing as Makas last incarnation, obviously.
>>35240296>commandedWe don't know that. It could have simply been crew. It takes more than one Solar to operate a titan, after all.
>>35238859Afer qt merfolk guardians that told stories of our return for generations>>35239357so much that, it hurts>>35239399Crane Style? The Ultimate expressio of Old Martial Arts Teacher>>35239400¨Thou shallt feel the Suns Warmth as a Gift to all Creatures, for ìt is his love for every single one of us.¨ ???>>35239434First on the list is always AST. Oh so very, very much that.
>>35240389(Same) NOT to say Demesne Emulating principle is O.P. and Demesne and Manse form wouldn't hit the nerve of maka and this quest!
So bump up zenith, dawn, physical, twilight, get athletics charms and thrown charms. And a PD.Social 5 is not happening at this rate.
>>35240679well with the lintha and abyssals on our plate social 5 wouldn't be very practical. We're working on combat power so we can smash up the lintha and stand a chance vs a team of abyssals.social 5 can come later when we're not in immediate need of punching power.
>>35240679Social 5 can wait, and Zenith improves our social ability anyway. We're already one of the most charming people in the entire seeing - EF said as much. We've got speaking softly down. It's time to get our big stick.
>>35238859Not soon enough.
>>35240859>Maka>Big stickTia already has that covered.
>>35240859Can we have a stick made of smaller sticks mde of fairly large stcks?
>>35240679Frankly that's for the best. We already seem to be bordering on "so hot it's a problem." Heading up any further seems like a great way for people to start (accurately) saying that we mindrape people just by being in the room with our unholy presence.
>>35235678Well, how long was it, ~6 hours?Frenzied mortals lasting between 5 and 10 minutes against a solar that's doing between 2 and 5 at a time. Triple digits sounds *very* doable.
>>35241247We're already 'so hot we're superhuman.' Peak mundane human Social is 2. We're double that.
>>35235818Yes, and?>Being upset about being a slutI'm sorry anon, why are you in this thread? Did your pastor take the day off, and you had some time to get past the internet filter at the church?
>>35241351>>35241440Did you seriously just come into this thread to stir up shit about a topic this dead ?Thats just sad.
>>35241460No, I'm just posting comments as I catch up. I'm just surprised at the butthurt some anons have toward being a slut, as if they've never read this quest before and believe that pissing in the wind will somehow change what's been solid characterization for nearly a year now
>>35236597>>35236568>>35236580Where's that one of Maka looking all kawai while Sol Invictus flexes his shit?
>>35241351>>35241460Stir up shit? Sagas should be written about our solar's sexual exploits."Bard, tell us the tale of how Maka the Ever Beautiful once lain'd an entire town by accident."
>>35241384Yes, but bear in mind that Social 5 is literally as hot as it gets. Do we really want people forced into existential crises because they saw us wink once? Do we want to have to deal with people questioning themselves after every meeting as to whether they were mind controlled or just compelled by beauty?
>>35241570Top kek. Thats quaint rural tales by Threshold standards. We aren't going to outfuck Dynasts any time soon. They got a massive infrastructure of debauchery going on.
>>35241624Right, I was supporting your position, not arguing against it.
>>35241624Yes? I want to max out Social, eventually, because it doesn't max out just attractiveness, but charisma, our ability to be diplomatic and sociable. It's our strongest and most effective tool next to fisticuffs
>>35241708My point is that it's not a purely beneficial action. We certainly wouldn't be the first Exalt to be too charismatic to share a room with; higher-ups will be aware of the dangers it poses and will respond accordingly. If we max out Social, it's entirely likely that some people will refuse to willingly negotiate with us in person at all.
>>35235947Didn't Peleps Deled just flat out kill an old dude in front of Maka? I remember that scene being pretty fucked up
>>35236079A single nation provides a stronger unified front against enemies, imo. I also like the idea of being called the The Tri Queen Islands or something to that effect
>>35236108>so many delicious brown girlsExaltedfag why
>>35236187Didn't we plan for it to be an insanely tall light house? I guess it's still the same thing, but tower evokes different imagery in my head
>>35241818iirc the plan was a main cathedral but the centerpiece of it is the light house tower that is being reinforced by the orichalcum valeriana found.
>>35236401I don't suppose we could spend our bonus xp from the commissioned art now, could we? It'd be nice to get that out of the way then do it next thread
>>35241818I think the plan was giant cathedral, with the highest spire forming something like a lighthouse tower.
>>35238105>>35238122I thought that's what this quest was all about, trying to get into Sol Invictus' pants? I mean heck, I wouldn't be looking away from Creation if that's the direction I was getting a hummer
>>35241998I'm planning on spending mine on fluff.
>>35242117Do you mean fluffy charm choices, or actual setting fluff. Can you do that?
>>35241752I get what you're saying, and while I agree that being super beautiful will have its problems the benefits of having that kind of influence outweigh the consequences
>>35241998We couldn't afford anything, not counting the anon that wants to spend it on what he wants, we only have 2 XP total, one for each piece, unless EF wants to give us more per pic
>>35241543Late response but here
>>35242452Three, actually, not including the anon who wants to spend his own piece on fluff.
>>35242208Setting fluff; like how many kids X will have, etc. These mostly don't matter much for the quest's plot, so they're just pure flavor.
>>35242547Yeah, I had forgotten about one of them, but that's all we have, not enough to afford anything unless we're getting more XP per pic than before
>>35242452Don't we have some leftover normal XP as well?
>>35242577Nah we spent it all buying Heaven Thunder Hammer in the very last thread
>>35235836I really wish I'd thought at the time to tell Swallow that we wouldn't NEED to train our servants and friends to be super soldiers if the Immaculate Order wasn't guaranteed to fuck with them. It might have made him think a little.
>>35242600How much was Lightning Speed again? That seems like a very handy option and would synergize well with Monkey Leap and Graceful Crane.
>>35242699Pretty sure he was too horny to think at all at that point. We'll probably see him again though.
>>35242729Every charm that isn't Zenith cost 10 XP

>>35244756Are they any good at being totally shit?
>>35241752That's bullshit, there is no more of a downside to maxing out Social attributes as there is to maxing out Physical or Mental, and if there is you have a shit ST
>>35244791Absolutely>>35244795In terms of moral character, yup
>>35244795They are good at that. Solars make for some of the best villains, that's why some of the most powerful enemies in Exalted are basically palette-swapped Solars
>>35244867>AbsolutelyHow so? If they finish so quickly then it'd be nearly nothing compared to even a solid twenty minutes with Tianna, instead of having the various mortals finish, have them shuffle off, possibly reposition/clean/etc, then resume with the sex.Which would make it far less fulfilling for them, maybe not even fulfilling at all.
>>35244867>>35244756>kek solar magic maek it all gud
>>35244927Because Exaltedfag said it did, just like he said to stop talking about it.
>>35244694>MostTo be fair most is often used to mean a plurality.
>>35244942I don't think this is the setting for you.>>35244927Because it was fulfilling at the time.
>>35244959So does that mean if he said Maka suddenly died due to unknown causes and ended the quest, you would believe him too?
>>35244927You assume any single mortal needs to have gotten her off. That is not the case. The mortals were pretty much just filling inbetween position swaps with Tia and Dancing Smoke. I'm not sure how you think a orgy works, but you don't need to keep at it until both had a orgasm from it.Twenty seconds of attention from a Solar is enough to make it the best sex they ever had.
>>35244982If he did that it would be because he didn't want to run the quest anymore, in which case it would no longer matter.
>>35244982Yes. Any other stupid questions?
>>35244974>Most definition, in the greatest quantity, amount, measure, degree, or number: to win the most votes. So, 3 hours and 1 second, would be the "most" of 6 hours.>>35244983If that is indeed the case, across those 6 hours it's almost impossible for 100-999 people to fill that in, I'm perfectly willing to believe what you're saying, but it all relies on what each one of those people did.If it could be anything from groping, kissing, to just touching them, and as you say, twenty seconds of touching, then it's perfectly believable. However, the word he used, made it sound so much more intimate than just that.
>>35245072What are you getting out of this? EF isn't going to change it, he has said that several times, you're just shiting up the thread.
>>35245101He's getting responses that are letting him shit up the thread more. You could, you know, IGNORE HIM. Nah, wait, someone's wrong one the internet, gotta keep yelling at him.
>>35245101"The thread" is dead and won't be used any more. Not to mention, indeed he may not "change" it, but there's plenty you can change simply from the interpretation of the words given.Which is why, overall, there was such a reaction to it in the first place.
>>35245072>If that is indeed the case, across those 6 hours it's almost impossible for 100-999 people to fill that inNo its not really. Assuming it were, say, 140 people, that means with 2 1/2 hours, she had slightly more than a minute for each. Which is definitly enough for any single mortal to have gotten off considering her sensual prowess, and still have the majority of time spent with Tia.
>>35245072No it was six hours of Maka being a cum dumpster and a bunch of mortals cumming too quickly because they are mortal. Is that okay anon?
>>35245152And thats assuming she id only one mortal at a time, which is most likely not the case, if we assume most were women, it gets even easier.
>>35245072Even the definition you quoted fits a plurality: if there are four candidates and 300 votes, and one guy gets 100 votes and the other guys get 66/66/67 (or however that splits out) the first guy got the most votes, despite not getting the majority of the votes.
>>35245134but he's super wrong anon, double super wrong. If only he'd receive Maka's love...
>>35245072 The true evil of the whole situation is that Maka gave over a hundred mortals such pleasure they will never be capable of replicating, losing themselves in alcohol, drugs and debaucheries in a hopeless chase for that one blissful minute, ruining their minds, relationships and lifes in the process.
>>35245171As an amused passerby: What a fascinating new low quests have reached!
>>35245231You have not seen Fantasy Serial Murderer Quest
ITT: Niggers are still mad that something bad happened to them in a quest. Clearly, this is the end of society, and a great betrayal of the gods. >>35245229Maka confirmed for Slaanesh.
>>35245231Nah its just /tg/s usual juvenile hornyness meeting a Setting practically made for it.
>>35245269Hey when two things are meant to be they are meant to beExalted also has dinosaurs that piss heroin. Good times
>>35245257It wasn't even that something bad happened. There were no negative repercussions other than Maka feeling bad for a bit afterwords. They are just whining about something that happened months ago that is not going to change no matter how much they kick and scream that it couldn't/shouldn't have happened.
>>35245072WHAT WORDINGWHAT FUCKING WORDING>Although you dedicated most of your time and attention to Tia and Smoke (and in her case, "attention" should be written in quotes. Tia has been especially rough with her), you also lost count of how many other companions you've had during the night.>Maybe you HAVE cut a bit too loose. You didn't literally keep a count, you're not that kind of person. They're people, not numbers. Although if you had to make a guess, you'd make it solidly in the three digits.THIS IS WHAT YOU'RE ARGUING ABOUT.How the fuck does companions imply a 10 minute romantic date followed by a 30 minute lovemaking session like you keep saying every mortal did? Fucking show me where Exaltedfag said we took a long time doing each one. Go on, show me. And don't be a little bitch and try to deflect the subject to >B-B-B-BUT S-S-S-SHE W-W-W-WOULDN'T HAVE ENJOYED IT. Fuck, in the same fucking paragraph Maka even states that, and I quote, "quantity IS a quality all of its own.".You probably don't even read the fucking quest based on the sheer lies you keep spewing. You're just a shitposter doing this for attention. Fuck, nobody was this vocal about it before the hiatus, which implies that you either archive binged it all without seeing all the arguments and bitching relevant to it in the thread that it actually happened, or you're just starting shit for the sake of starting shit.Considering your utter lack of reading comprehension and your failure to acknowledge the points in any post that highlight why you should shut the fuck up, you're either a shitposting asshat that doesn't know when to quit, or the ST's joke character he gave zero dots in mental.Fuck you for being so persistent that I can't even tell the difference any more.
>>35245152Then you add in the time to position them, time for Maka to clean herself, time for the mortals to go more than once, foreplay. So, 140 minutes base, meaning 2 hours and 20 minutes. So, lets add 20 seconds for each person, based on what I stated above, that adds almost 50 minutes to the time, exceeding 3 hours. Imagine if we added 40 seconds for it, maybe even a minute. We're also assuming this is a completely non-stop orgy with no breaks between sex, aside from to clean and get the new person in.>>35245195There's only two parties in this.Mortals, and Tianna/DS, meaning that since it's split 2 ways, the most time will be 3+ hours.>>35245171Then the very fact it stated>Although you dedicated most of your time and attention to Tia and SmokeWould be wrong, wouldn't it?
>>35245304You do realise its literally one guy complaining and a bunch of guys being absurdly defensive about Makas sluttiness ?Seriously, the only other people who talked about it were one or two who said they kinda didn't like it in spoilers.Since then its been one guy.>>35245314Exhibit A.
>>35245304>>35245314All I know is that both of you are stupid, pathetic niggers arguing about something that literally does not matter at all. Not even the slightest bit. You're not even fucking arguing about the act itself anymore! You're not arguing about how bad Maka felt. You are arguing the logistics of a massive orgy. This is too nerdy even for /tg/.
>>35245370This is exactly nerdy enough for /tg/
>>35245370>You are arguing the logistics of a massive orgy. >This is too nerdy even for /tg/.Please

Even if they did, why do you assume they did their second round with maka, it was a entire orgy going on there.>clean herselfkek>position themWhat ?>We're also assuming this is a completely non-stop orgyYes we assume that. And ?
>>35244694>So that means 3 hours in which 100-999 mortals were leasured.Just because 'most' of the time was spent with Tia doesn't mean it was spend with Tia in exclusion. She could have spent all six hours with Tia, with four other slots in constant rotation. It it's even a remotely unfeasible number when you assume that she's able to pleasure groups of 3-5 at once with ease.
>>35245314>WHAT FUCKING WORDINGSee: >you also lost count of how many other companions you've had during the night.>CompanionsTell me, what does companion mean in this sense? Does it mean someone she has kissed? Someone she fucked in any way? Someone that absent mindedly touched her breast? There's a lot of leeway here>How the fuck does companions imply a 10 minute romantic date followed by a 30 minute lovemaking session like you keep saying every mortal did? I'm not saying it does, however assuming that it was anywhere within the realms of 2+ minutes, means that the scenario is essentially impossible due to how much time is needed.
>>35245402>with four other slots>assuming Maka can afford any less than the majority of her attention when doing Tiakek no. When it was Tia time, mortals better didn't get anywhere near that, there would have been casualties.
>>35245352It's been one guy ignoring counterpoints and shitposting for the past three fucking threads. I try to peek in here, he keeps rearing his ugly head and I have to look at his dumbass posts. Of course I'm mad. >>35245370I'm just trying to address his points>>35245410Yes it has a lot of leeway you assclown, but we've taken it to mean the loose definition. And why the fuck are you assuming that it's 2+ minutes per guy/gal?
>>35245352Excuse me i'm not being defensive about maka's sluttiness i just absolutely fucking love arguing semantics and this guy doesn't understand the word most
>>35244854That's fucking nonsense. They all have basically the same drawback - you're way more obvious. Having Physical 5 makes you impossibly fit - massively muscular, coordination that makes you seem more machine than man, and so forth. Social 5 makes you impossibly beautiful, and impossible to ignore. The drawback of attributes with physical manifestations is that THEY HAVE PHYSICAL MANIFESTATIONS. Having Social 5 means you have an Appearance on par with goddesses of sex and beauty - and that means you get remembered, make waves, and have rumors spread wildly wherever you go. It mean you have wars fought for your affection, like Helen of Troy, and all kinds of other shit that comes from having an Appearance more than double that of a mortal supermodel. We're already in a situation where our Appearance makes it almost impossible to keep from being the center of attention. We use that to our advantage, because that's our style anyway, but it COULD be a huge problem.
>>35245459There are really no points worth addressing here. At all. On either side. But you're not going to stop, are you? No, that's a stupid question. Of course not.
>>35245459Because 'muh autism' and because he wants it to be less squicky in his head. >>35245370>too nerdy for even tgOh, man, that had me rolling anon
>>35245538Glad you liked it. I only wish it was half as amusing as these two.
>>35245410>I'm not saying it does, however assuming that it was anywhere within the realms of 2+ minutesBut thats wrong, a minute is enough for that purpose, and if any of them could still walk or move after that minute, there were still hundreds of other people in that square to fuck.>>35245476Oh no, not all the time sure. But then there is from time to time gems like this:>>35241440Aside from that, I would seriously recommend anyone who doesn't like arguing for its own sake to abandon ship or start a different discussion here, because otherwise nothing of value will come of this.Anyone any setting questions ?
>>35245402Ah, that is a point where you are correct. We do not know how much time Maka spent with Tia, or how many she was taking by herself. However, >>35245444 has a point, not to mention that it would be a dangerous affair if they were indulging themselves. >>35245610Huh. I must have missed it. Okay, thanks.
>>35245489It's already technically a problem, might as well just ramp it up so it works more to our advantage. But the consequences of getting something at a dot five should not be more problematic then they are advantageous otherwise getting it would be a huge kick to your players."Oh, here's this mechanically cool ability that you have to spend a lot of time and roleplaying to get, but if you use it basically serves as a way to make the game more difficult for you." That may be appealing fluff wise, but to a player it's not.
>>35245638I agree on all of those counts. I was just disagreeing with the implication that high Attributes don't also come with some downsides.
>>35245566>Standing around waiting for your turn isn't exactly the best way to keep someone ready. Why do you assume they did that ? In case it has still not penetrated to you, THERE WAS A ORGY GOING ON. MANY PEOPLE WERE FUCKING. Caps for emphasis not yelling. Maka, Tia and Dancing Smoke were not the only people there. People were fucking all around them, and some brave and foolhardy either joined or got dragged in.>and other variations which show that Maka would give them the most pleasure?Except if Maka was busy at the time, they didn't have much of a choice but go somewhere else>Thanks for addressing my point. Why would she need to ?>Sex, especially with someone who's a superhuman, would require positioning so dicks don't get broken.First of all, dicks can't break, they can at most rupture. Second, They would have been drawn in when Maka was in a position to take advantage of them, Third, what makes you think all of them, or even the majority were men ? There were women there too, and that would need far less positioning.
>>35245566>Standing around waiting for your turn isn't exactly the best way to keep someone ready.Couples often watch lewd things to get in the mood.>I'm not, if I did then it'd be taking an absolutely absurd amount of time. No, it wouldn't have. >>35245662I'll agree that Dot 5 Social will have its downsides, but man if we want to be heard people will listen which for a Zenith is probably super useful to get people to want to praise the Sun
>>35245690>is somewhat typical in orgiesWell, in a 6 hours lasting one, some people would probably do it at some point. Because shit would get nasty after a while, unless you are really really drunk. But this was both out in the open, Maka and Tia are superhumans, so that might not even be a issue and the whole thing was Maka explicitly losing control, so she probably didn't waste thought on that and the atmosphere was loaded with enough scent that it didn't matter.
>>35245698It sure would. I wasn't even disagreeing with the assertion that we should eventually get Social 5. It was a very specific refutation of the idea that there aren't downsides as well.
>>35245698Speaking of, did we ever repeat UCS Sempai's Kamen Rider speech to us to the Cult of the Sun? Something like that would inspire the fuck out of me
>>35245664>Why do you assume they did that ? Because unlike Maka, they don't have superhuman stamina, and if they did indulge in the orgy then they would need a break period to re-cooperate. Which would then require foreplay.>Except if Maka was busy at the time, they didn't have much of a choice but go somewhere elseUnless, of course, they were already coupling at the time, in which case, she wouldn't be busy with someone else. There were women there too, and that would need far less positioning. But could take far more time due to the nature of their sex.>>35245682>Couples often watch lewd things to get in the mood.Very true, however as the orgy was in full swing, most people who didn't get first go with Maka would have gone to other people. The mortals not having super human stamina, would have to have taken a break period to recooperate, in which case foreplay may have been necessary in that period.>No, it wouldn't have. We've already explained numerous times why it wouldn't.Really? I'm not sure anyone has addressed the point about mortals taking more than one turn in a row, male or female.>Because you take what you get?And at that point they have Maka, they have the choice to walk away, or continue. >>35245857>Which would then require foreplay. That's not how foreplay works.>Unless she decided to go to Tianna of course. You're honestly just making me more convinced that you don't read the quest.>That sort of thing gets very nasty after awhile,Yes. >>35245857>And at that point they have MakaBut they don't "have" Maka. That poarty in the middle was by invitation because without Maka explicitly dragging someone in, that person would have not survived stumbling between these three superhumans. If Maka doesn't drag them in, they are shit out of luck.>But could take far more time due to the nature of their sex.No it wouldn't You are still forgetting the superhuman prowess part. And assuming Maka would have been their first sex partner in that night, which as the night went on became less and less likely to be the case.>but it would be very likely to happen.Apparently it didn't.>Because unlike Maka, they don't have superhuman stamina, and if they did indulge in the orgy then they would need a break period to re-cooperate. Way more people were fucking on that square than Maka had contact with.>Unless, of course, they were already coupling at the time, in which case, she wouldn't be busy with someone else. Unless she decided to go to Tianna of course. Please repeat that in a sentence that makes sense. You seem to still suffer from the assumption that Maka was the only person the people in that orgy had sex with. But thats wrong. It was a orgy, a lot of people had sex with a lot of other people, and some of them were so lucky to get a minute of Makas time.
>>35246084>You're honestly just making me more convinced that you don't read the quest. How so?Throughout the orgy Tianna was the person Maka spent a large amount of time with, so let us say she spent some time with a mortal, now that mortal could also go for a second round. She however decides she doesn't want a second one with him/her, and decides to move onto Tianna instead.Does that make sense?>Dex 3 (In relation to Penile fractures)The positions don't only rely on Maka, which is the point. If this was an orgy entirely of Exalted, you would most certainly be correct, positioning would be nearly no problem at all.>Refractory periods.Which women, in some cases, tend to not have.>Average 2 minutes a partner over 6 hours gives you 180.However for "most" of that time she was with Tianna and DS, so we cannot assume that she would be fucking mortals for all 6 of the hours.>>35246097>That poarty in the middle was by invitation because without Maka explicitly dragging someone in, that person would have not survived stumbling between these three superhumans. Yes, I understand that. But in that case, if the person Maka dragged in could continue to have sex, would they, or wouldn't they? My bet is on the former.>No it wouldn't You are still forgetting the superhuman prowess part. More the lack of refractory period than them being harder to get off.>Why would they stand around waiting for Maka ?If you read my counters to anything else, you would have realized I stated multiple times that they wouldn't be standing around waiting.>Please repeat that in a sentence that makes sense.Maka has a person. They have sex. Maka can continue. The mortal can continue. This means they can effectively have sex again, instead of Maka switching partners.

And even if the person 'can' continue, by being a Heroic mortal maybe, doesn't mean Maka lets them, instead of putting her attention elsewhere. Or do you think one of them could have forced themselves on maka ?>>35246372Tianna is the city. Tia is the person.
