This thread will not advance the quest or pick up from where we left, but just go over the story up to now. This is for the benefit of any new readers.First thread is already archived at:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/35040735/And the entire quest is archived at:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Solar%20QuestI'll try and keep it shorter than it was in the previous thread because otherwise this is really gonna take forever, yeah. As always, any questions and/or relevant discussions are welcome and I will answer to them at the best of my ability. If you're new to Exalted but think this Quest might be interesting, know that it's meant to be as newbie-friendly as possible. If you want to know more about the setting in general, http://1d4chan.org/wiki/ExaltedWe left the story when the city of Tianna and the Lunars and barbarian tribes of the island had agreed to an alliance, on the condition that they first defeat together the faerie lord of the Wyld area, appearing as a swamp, occupying the western side of the island. Who is a common enemy and threat (more to the Lunars than to Tianna proper though), and who is sitting on a large portion of the island which could otherwise be put to good use.In the middle of all this Maka, our heroine, encounters Tia, psycho lunar, who claims her as her wife. Apparently they were married in a previous life. Maka doesn't know anything about it but seems to play along for now.
I wonder how far we can get this time
Tia is, of course, very sticky about it because Maka's soul belongs to her (or so she claims) and stealing souls and playing with people's feelings is the Fair Folk's main deal. She also says she wants to make a drinking cup from the fae prince's skull.Anyway, the subject of planning moves to Dancing Smoke, the island's volcano goddess. Apparently very powerful, possibly a good ally, but the problem is that volcano gods seem to like human sacrifice, and Tianna's queen, Amata, is adamantly against that. (Amata seems to be pretty hostile to most gods in general. She claims to be in good standing with the island's god, but she asked Maka to not disturb him, so we never met him.)So Maka, Mikahil (The other Solar on the island, a spy-diplomat-secret agent on Anata's side) and Tia climb the volcano.Haggling ensues. In the end, Dancing Smoke agrees to having a yearly festival, a sacrifice in cattle and a shrine downtown,, Maka owing her a personal favour to be called in at a later time, and dancing for her personally at her festival....After that, it's time to get some pirates on our side.
>>35104364>Maka owing her a personal favour to be called in at a later timeI had forgotten about that actually, mah it can't be that bad anymore, Smoke is an alright girl after all
>Tia, psycho lunar, who claims her as her wife
>>35104429Not as shit though
>>35104364>She claims to be in good standing with the island's god, but she asked Maka to not disturb him, so we never met him.I had actually forgotten about that. I wonder what that means in hindsight to the "recent" revelation. Normally the Island wouldn't have a god, being a artifical structure, except those in the Bureau of Humanity or Bureau of Weather responsible for flying constructs or the aerial legion.Boy I hope its one of the celestials of the Bureau of Weather, these guys have a sbolute hard-on for Solars
There is a pirate haven on some small islands on the far side of Tianna. Maka, Tia and Mikahil head there, assisted by the fact that Tia can shapeshift into a large vulture strong enough to carry two people in its claws. You airdrop into a pirate ship sailing at sea. When they realize you are immune to swords, they listen. So you obtain the services of the Bloodshark and its captain, Ruben Sareni.Maka then proclaims to her new crew that she's ending piracy around Tianna... or rather, taking charge of it. She sets sail for the small pirate haven port, where she gathers some info and contacts another pirate, a Yagate Whitetooth, a half-shark beastman and someone with some ties to the Lintha. She makes an offer. He refuses.
He's actually a tough bastard, but by hurting Maka, he pisses off Tia. He snarls that he's the son of one of the Three Rivers lunars, to which Tia replies that she IS one of the Three Rivers, and nails him to a wall via giant swordThey conclude that he's one of the sons of Zaan. Apparently the little kid really gets around. They leave him to his crew, to be taken care of, but Maka makes it clear that she's not finished with him. Tia has an idea, however, and leaves to prepare a "surprise". Maka decides to leave the pirates to her and focuses on the local gods, or rather, elementals: there's a court of water spirits ruling the coasts of Tianna, and she tries to contact them, swimming at the bottom of the sea.
>>35104464Even if the Island got assigned a god without knowing what it is, he would realise it pretty fast, so he either isn't around anymore, or he is in on the conspiracy.Islands would probably fall under the purview of the Bureau of Nature, who are on good terms with the Silver Pact, and not on so good terms with the Sidereal, so that would work out.Its probably a completly autistic question but, does Tianna teach the Hierarchy of Type or the Hierarchy of Function ?
>>35104561>Hierarchy of Type or the Hierarchy of FunctionWhat are these?
>>35104578Its two different ways in which scholars in creation, and gods, classify animals, plants and minerals. The Hierarchy of Type does it by appearance. So cats, dogs, trees, rivers and such. And the Hierarchy of Function does it by abstract similarities.Poisonouss animal, carnivore, herbivore, high places, flat places and such. Its a minor point of contention for creation scholars, Type is the most common in the current age, while Function was "created" by the Solars. The Bureau of Nature however is divided in their responsibilities along that line, so its a huge deal in terms of influence to the respective deities.
Maka dances (underwater) for the water spirits and manages to attract them, then she asks them to help against the Fae. They agree in exchange for turning one-fifth of the fae prince's lands to sea, and having Maka all for themselves for one full day and night.Maka accepts despite knowing that water spirits, and specifically sirens, are at the top of the "clingy jealous possessive spirits that might decide they never want you to leave their side" ranking. Sirens seducing sailors into the sea and drowning them is a routine thing. She reasons that maybe she can fix this later. When Maka climbs out of her dive in the sea, she notices her clothes ("clothes") are gone. She quickly finds out what happened: a street urchin found them and stole them, and is now about to be stoned because the crowd is afraid of Maka and terrified that she will think even for a moment that they are to blame for something.Maka stops them. The crowd seems to think that it's because she's about to eat him or something. Instead Maka gives the kid, Regis, a job as her butler.
>>35104675I've been wanting to dress him and Millian up in matching clothes, but it'll have to wait I guess
Meanwhile Tia pulls off her "surprise": she has eaten Yagate's hearts's blood. Lunar shapeshifting then allows her to turn into him, and fool his crew into thinking that he is "retiring" and handing the ship and crew to Maka. Looks like Tia can also be cunning, in a "murder him, eat his heart, wear his skin" way. Anyway, the crew seems to buy it.The night is spent talking with Tia, trying to get a fix on how her thought processes work, and bringing some sense to this crazy one-sided relationship. Maka doesn't hate Tia, but the Lunar is a bit too obsessive and didn't give her any time. Things need to go slower. So, Tia obliges and has a night-time romantic date with Maka in the sea.(All the while a crewman on the ship complains with Rubel that it's the fault of men being at sea if the women are all lesbians)
>>35104796That looks like a Gardevoir gijinka.
>>35104816It is one. Exaltedfag just didn't realise it until it was pointed out to him.
>>35104816>>35104823It doesn't really matter, and it made it easy to figure out what she looks like using Twin-Faced Hero
>>35104816>>35104823And there will probably be more, since he mentioned that he likes the art style and doesn't care about it.
>>35104876I like Gardevoir too. I was just remarking on a similarity while browsing the front page.
>>35104872Male Tia doesn't look like that though. She is described more broad-shouldered and buff.Of course, she can look like that, she just doesn't.
>>35104897For a ladyboy animu character, that *is* broad-shouldered and buff.
>>35104253I think we need that R&D Solar to invent motorboats so Maka can be motorboated.
>>35104922That kinda doesn't apply to a character in the same franchise as this.
Next day, Maka receives from Mikahil, who is not going to be present for the battle against the fae (he'll be off-island attending some private business of his) his part of the "war effort" in form of a pouch full of mixed cash. The last of the three big-shot pirate captains in these waters, Iohannes Quint, is a somber man who doesn't seem intimidated by Maka despite the entire haven by now knowing that she's some kind of god-demon-fae-something.They talk business. He hates the Lintha as much as anyone else and likes Maka's plans to take them out at a later point. He understand the general situation (fair folk, abyssals, etc), and when Maka mentions that she plans on forging a large and powerful nation in the West with her new/future navy, his eyes light up. He agrees to help her, but in exchange he wants to rule one specific island in Wavecrest if and when Maka will conquer it, as her vassal.Long story short, they've tossed his wife in a volcano. Well, it was because the prisons were empty at the time and she was a necromancer, but in Quint's opinion that is not an excuse.
>>35104959fanart != canon art
Maka then hands Mikahil's cash to Tia, asking her to help arming the crews of her three new ships with proper anti-fae weaponry (i.e. iron), while she decides on who to captain the ship that was Yagate's. She settles for Rubel's first mate, Alexei, who was also the guy ranting about Storm Mothers and all-male sailors making women act weird on land.Maka, Tia and Regis then fly to Azure Lake, the meeting point for the final pre-battle plans to be made.Samiel is there as well, together with the lunars and their barbarian warriors. He also brought Maka her new armored gauntlets that she commissioned in Tianna a while back.
So, the entire battle force is Maka, Tia, Zaan, Talon, a troop of barbarian warriors, three pirate ships, Dancing Smoke, and the coastal water spirits of Tianna (represented by one named Flow). The next step in the plan is to go and have a talk with the god of the plains, Yaraon. to make sure Dancing Smoke's lava is directed into the Wyld and not onto the barbarians or your allies.Yaraon likes the idea of getting rid of the fair folk, because if the wyld gets destroyed it would free up a lot of land, which would become his domain. But he doesn't like the idea of vetting Dancing Smoke's lava all over him, and Dancing Smoke's attitude about it doesn't help. At all.But you just got him to agree, when the Fae erupt out of the Wyld in a pre-emptive attack!
>>35105157That was a great conversation for the record.
>>35105186It was pretty good
>>35105157And then he got pregnant.
>>35105157Removing Dancing Smoke's smug is a great thing
>>35105295Dancing Smokes smug is a great thing.
And they brought a Behemoth. While the battle between barbarians and wyld-spawned lizardmen rages on, Maka wrestles the giant monster, gets her tabard completely ripped to shreds in the process, and destroys the kaijuu with a series of incredibly lucky rolls and a knee to the crown.
>>35105325>gets her tabard completely ripped to shreds in the processA tragedy
>>35105339Well she can hardly pull off a naked tabard look without the tabard.
This impresses the fae leading the assault, Garnet Skysea, vassal of the Prince of the Marsh Tarien Dorian, so much, that he puts up no resistance to being subsequently wrestled to the ground by Maka. (Although, honestly, who would?)Of course, Tia doesn't like this Garnet's claims that he's fallen head over heels for Maka, and abuses the hell out of him. Meanwhile Maka steals his clothes because they're fancy and she needs them. They force Garnet into swearing a binding oath of love to Maka, coordinate with Zaan, push the lizards back, and then Maka meets Samiel as he surfs down the wave of lava coming from the volcano and joins him.>Together, and later joined by Garnet again, they rampage through the Wyld, the flow of Lava calcifying the chaotic energies and burning lizardmen to cinders.
>>35105371Yeah, but now Maka can say she wrestled a Behemoth naked. I bet that would make even some First Age Solars jealous.
>>35105339>>35105371On the bright side, we got a replacement Gossamer tabard out of it.
>>35105397>Garnet SkyseaFucking Garnet, fuck you and your shit
>>35105032Alexei wasn't the one pointed out as a female masquerading as a sailor? Was it someone else or am I just misremembering?
>>35105452We talked about it, but it was never really looked into
>>35105397>Meanwhile Maka steals his clothes because they're fancy and she needs them.>dat naked jacket lookThe Fae Assault had a bunch of great outfits that we didn't get to wear for long
>>35105470It would be weird, given Alexei was the one who gave the rant about women becoming lesbians because they're left alone on shore by all-male ship crews.
>>35105490We should look into expanding Maka's wardrobe. We've talked about it a couple times but the thread was either ending or we got distracted.
>>35105581We got silk to make some new gossamer stuffnotably the vesty-jackety-thingI think all we managed to agree on for a common theme was "No panties, ever"
>>35105581At this point, I just imagine Maka as Farah from Queen Opala.
>>35105490Screw you and your ugly moth yellow sweater. And the horse you rode in on.
>>35105611Oh look, it's shit taste anon
>>35105581I'm always up for more outfits, personally I want to pick up a few dresses
A long stretch of being lost in the wyld, of mindgames, monsters, and fighting another fae noble ensues. Concluded when reinforcements come, in the form of your three ships with Tia arriving (sailing through the wyld thanks to the water spirits) and running said fae noble over.Maka is pretty badly wounded at this point, and Tia gets overprotective and forces her to rest. While recuperating, Garnet makes her an offer: put him in charge of the Wyld instead of Tarien Dorian and things will work out. Then there's a long chat where Garnet and Maka basically try to seduce each other, but Maka starts to realize why Tia was so nervous about fair folk: she laid a claim to Maka's soul, and souls are something that fae sometimes enjoy to play with, or steal. And that's just what's happening.Maka tries to get Tia to calm down, but the Lunar goes off the deep end and stabs Garnet until he's dead, and then keeps stabbing and never stops....And then, in the chaos of those moments, Garnet (who is not really dead) creates an illusory Maka who replies to Tia's heartbroken questions in all the wrong ways, clearly trying to drive her completely insane. Trying to persuade her that Maka's just using her.In Garnet's mind this is just a move to keep Maka all for himself and drive Tia away, and it almost worked, but we manage to shatter the illusion and reach out to Tia just in time.
>>35105610Golden eye paint and ridiculous amounts of gold jewelry when
>>35105661>Golden eye paint and ridiculous amounts of gold jewelryI do actually like that, an Egyptian motif is a good look for a brown Solar
>>35105661Don't firget the incest and bestiality. Can't be Farah without them. No, I'm not advocating this. Yet.
>>35105778We are already doing dry exercise on the incest with the royal family.
After that, Maka more or less collapses from the strain, and when she wakes up, Tia has ran away, attacking the Fae prince's fortress by herself.Meanwhile the good guys managed to puch back the Wyldland about as much as they can in such a short time. It's impossible to make it any smaller without some very long-term engineering, but the remaining Wyld is still dangerous and Tarien Dorian's fortress is still standing.Samiel is still badly wounded and will rest longer, but Maka improvises some new clothes, nails metal plates to her gauntlets, and gets 10 volunteers to go searching for Tia.Following her proves to be surprisingly easy: just follow the trail of lizardmen corpses. But along the way, Maka stumbles in another fae, this time one that looks like she's fleeing from the battle, evidently having realized that Tarien Dorian is surrounded and doomed.Maka forces the fae, called Silk, to swear that she will not harm anyone while in Tianna and that she will never come back once she leaves, and she does in exchange for Maka swearing that she will not harm her and will do her best to protect her from Tia's bloody rampage and anyone else.
>>35105778Uhh anon, we've already done both with our family and Tia...
>>35105825I wouldn't be surprised if she did it with her "actual" family too.
>>35105839I don't think Maka was as sex crazed when she was still mortal
>>35105839Although she seems to have always been lewd as fuck, I don't think she was quite so flagrantly uninhibited until she Exalted.
>>35105839Well they were Royalty
>>35105863I was gonna post that picture.
>>35105855>>35105861I dunno man, Gem royalty. And she was pretty sensual at the start already, it wouldn't surprise me. Its not as big a deal in Creation, so it doesn't even take much.
Having received directions for the fae castle by Silk, Maka finally catches up to Tia, who is still quite crazy.Of course, as soon as Silk walks back in the scene, Tia tries to murder her, and it takes a lot of convincing to persuade her to not do it, and to persuade Maka to persuade her not to do it. Basically Silk just claims that she don't want no trabble, but also that's in their best interest to keep her around because Garnet was right about one thing: having a friendly fae in charge of the Wyld is a lot better than leaving it to run wild (no pun intended). In the end, what persuades Tia is the thought that there are good lunars and bad lunars (and she's had a long experience in bad lunars), so she's willing to not judge Silk based on what Garnet did.Everyone returns to the ships and decide on the strategy for assaulting the castle. Silk is also bound with an iron chain and a very well-worded oath without all the wiggle room that Garnet exploited.
>>35105965and then SLIME PET MASSAGE
And then, getting a bit fed up by all the legalese and fine print, Maka just stands up, nails Silk with a 10-success social attack, and orders the fae noble to become her pet.So, a day of rest later, you gather your forces and march against the castle. And along the way, you get into one hell of a fight.
Hey, Exaltedfag, think you can get on #qmc in about 7 or 8 hours?
>>35105266That's what happens when Dancing Smoke gets her sticky stuff all over him
The thing seems to be as much piloted robot as it is sentient monster, with Tarien Dorian controlling it from inside the gem set into the behemoth's chest. In the meanwhile, Talon has also disappeared, captured by his forces. To make a long battle short, you manage to take down the thing, assisted by Zaan's sorcery, and save Samiel, who is almost mortally wounded, just in time. Talon is nowhere to be seen, probably dragged to the castle. Tarien Dorian escaped the battle.>>35106085I can get on now. Dunno in 7-8 hours.
>>35106273I can't now, though, and I need to give you something, which I can't while on the phone.Maybe in the weekend? Or if the thread is still alive later today.
>>35106273Most of the Fae we met were dicks, I bet that one that one we didn't get to meet was just as much of a dick too
>>35105640And then Garnet caught a case of the deadNever get in the way of a Lunar and Solar bond kids
>>35106303This thread should last a long while, the last did.
>>35106310That's kind of the Fae mentality, they know none of what they are or their feelings are real and are pretty much just play acting all the time, 24/7It's very meta, and I hate them for it. Buncha damn LARPers...
Then, you move on to finally assault his castle. While fighting the army of lizardmen defending it in a pitched battle, Maka accidentally gets in Zaan's line of fire as he fires a spell, and she's heavily wounded, enough to be forced to sit out of the final assault.Tia, in open defiance of all the rules of narrative causality and as a middle finger to Tarien Dorian, raises on purpose a giant death flags by asking Maka to marry her if they make it both out of the battle alive.
>>35106433of course, we said yesI still blame the wyld on thatoh and then, CORPSE RAMP ENGINEERING
This leads up to the thread where we play as Tia, engineer the best corpse ramp ever, assault the castle with Silk in tow, murder our way through it in our Warform (pictured), drop in the heart of the Wyld and generally wreck shit up trying to find Tarien Dorian and remove his head from the rest of the body.
>>35106696We couldn't have made a better husbando if we had tried, Tia a greatest
>>35106510>CORPSE RAMP ENGINEERINGWhich Craft is that?Earth? Genesis?
>>35106725that's actually something I'd ask pheonix
And then, what happens is that Tia drops down to the lowest level of the fortress, the pulsing heart of the Wyldland, and faces off the last Behemoth, a monstrous living fortress inside the fortress, getting lost inside its innards while Tarien Dorian stalls for time as he finishes brainwashing Talon.Tia then decides to just turn into a giant kraken and tentacle rape the fortress open from the inside. In the final battle, Tia and Dorian critically wound each other, but the fae lord manages to release Talon, believing him brainwashed and ready to fight on his side, remarking that fae always have tricks up their sleeves.Talon instead rips both of his arms off, replying that lunars don't fall from them, before passing out.
>>35106900The "Was that supposed to be Maka ?" -moment was great.
>>35106900Man, I kinda want more adventures like the one in the Wyldlands. Then again, we are arming to fight a Pirate Fortress...
The next days are spent resting wounds, gathering forces, and looting the castle and the fallen armies of the fae, which are quite rich. Silk moves in and takes possession of the castle and begins the process of re-adapting it to her use. Talon is out cold, and Zaan says he'll need to put his half-broken mind back together, and it will take time and patience. They leave and return to northern Tianna.Silk forges a few new clothes for Maka, from gossamer, sturdy enough that they won't blow up in Exalted combat, and the new land ripped off of the Wyld is divvied up, including several new Demesnes (places of magical power) that have formed, which are split between the lunars, Amata and Maka.Maka decides that a new city will be built around the most powerful of these demesnes, centered around a manse. Her manse. In any case, you return to Tianna, playing cupid between Smoke and Samiel along the way and in the process helping to sort out some of their problems. It's generally agreed, once back to Tianna castle, that Mikahil probably knows someone who can help you with that Manse business, so Amata sends him a magical message.Meanwhile, there's a lot of talking and reorganizing. The city and the world is slowly catching up with all the things that have happened up to now.
Now that the adventure is over, the big question is how to handle all the power, resources, land, attention spinning around. Maka decides that once things get a moment more stable, she's going to marry Tia and Amata. A bit of rom-com threads ensue, with time spent doing pillow talk and subdly nudging Regis and Millian towards the relationship they both want to have but are too shy to.Also, Maka starts training people.
Naka also teaches Tia how to dance in preparation for Dancing Smoke's festival. You then have a large formal dinner together to celebrate the victory, headed by Amata. There, Maka also meets Rajan Hazakaa, the new admiral of Tianna's Navy, a manic and maybe slightly crazy Water-aspected DB with a burning and fiercely personal hatred of Lintha. Together they decide that they must be taken care of, because of how much damage they do to Tianna's shipping and naval power, but also to get their hands on their treasure, which must, by now, be immense. The main problem is that no one knows where the Black Island, their hidden fortress, is, exactly, and that they have a "devil ship". Rajan's description is horrifying.
>>35107472>fiercely personal hatred of LinthaThose poor balls, Vale could fix them eventually, I think. Their are medicine charms that cure Crippling injuries after all

>>35107600Not yet, but you've made some progress.Anyway, you also have a chat with the Coral and the Wavecrest ambassadors. Then you make the public announcement that you and Amata are to be married sometime soon and unite the crowns of Tianna and Gem.Of course, this causes an uproar you both cheerfully ignore.Tia, meanwhile, has been contacted by one of the northern barbarian tribes, whose warriors were so impressed with her power during the battle that they asked her to become their chieftan. Tia accepted, hoping to learn how to be a better leader and people-person and to be more useful to Maka like this.In those intimate hours of relax, Amata has a moment of weakness. She confesses to Maka that she is keeping a lot of secrets and she has lied a lot, even to her, but Maka replies that she doesn't care, as long as she had no other choice or did it for a good reason, and as long as her love is genuine. She replies that it is.

>>35107767>Tia accepted, hoping to learn how to be a better leader and people-person and to be more useful to Maka like this.We really need to kidnap her away from her duties
After a masterfully done public announcement that endears her to the people of Tianna, the dances start, on a palanquin carrying Dancing Smoke and Dancing Smoke's smug grin across the town, with Maka and Tia dancing on a dais on top of it.<-----But suddenly, someone fires an arrow from the crowd. You manage to deflect it without drawing attention, resolving that it was probably some immaculate malcontent - it didn't seem a serious assassination attempt, not for Exalted standards. This is where the stuff that was so discussed in the last thread happened - Around the end of the festival, Maka loses control and turns it into a large mass orgy. The next day, she starts to realize that she might have a problem. She talks about it with Amata and Tia, who agree but promise to support her (and keep an eye out).

>>35108911gold faction isn't so bad at all, but the people who got that cult of the illuminated thing rolling are scum
>>35108911At some point, when we met with her, we felt the little buzz you get when people worship you in the Exalted faction, meaning it was at least on some level genuine. I don't think a Sidereal could ever actually produce that sort of emotion.
>>35108924>Bronze FactionNot even once. But the Gold Faction is even worse. The Bronze Faction at least just wants to kill Solars for the greater good, the Gold Faction wants to brainwash and enslave them.I take a honest killer over that scam any day.
I'm new to this. How likely is Maka getting Golden Widow'd?
>>35108961Very very unlikely.
>>35108952That's just the people that run the Cult of the Illuminated, there are perfectly good Gold Faction that aren't associated with them>>35108961Impossible unless Tia is way sneakier than anyone imagined
Roan Denzik, representative of the Denzik Merchant Corporation, a soft-spoken young man here to offer some good deals. He offers to buy mining rights from the "new" land wrestled out of the Wyld from Maka, knowing that Tianna is poor in metals (but that that portion of the island might not be).Unfortunately this will have to wait until the seas have been made safe by defeating the Lintha in the region, but Amata has already done business with the Denzik on a smaller scale and seems to trust them.
>>35108985The Gold Faction is the guys who run the Cult of the Illuminated. The Leaders of the Gold Faction back that shit and considering how Sidereal factionalism works, there is pretty much zero chance she escaped that indoctrination. But maybe we can save her from their clutches.
>>35108892>>35108961>>35108985>inb4 tia turning on us and pyre rescuing us from inevitable doom, everything goes to hell and noone know whom to trust anymore
>>35109017Given what's happened with the discovery of Orichalcum on the Island of Tianna, how much money is Roan set to make?
>>35104796>(All the while a crewman on the ship complains with Rubel that it's the fault of men being at sea if the women are all lesbians)That guy was hilarious
>>35109076The Orichalcum isn't mineable.
>>35109076>discovery of OrichalcumWe didn't find any, well I mean other than the broken sword pieces Vale found
>>35109103that being said, does maka even know?i mean we are vales only ally and we haven't visisted her in... months?
>>35109134We were supposed to meet her once the Manse is finished or we move over to Pearl with our cult.
>>35109134They've talked some, Vale mentioned Maka taught her a dance before, I assume it happened in the timeskip
Erman Steelshard, mercenary captain. All the way from Nexus, the other side of the world. Leader of the eponymous Steelshards, a company of elite heavy infantry. He took lead when the previous commander was obliterated in some kind of huge battle when a (third-circle?) Demon appeared in Nexus and started changing the road layout and filling them with horrors. So him and his men have experience fighting against supernatural enemies, and he mentioned he already fought under the command of a Solar in the past.Maka is forced to refuse, as theyr fees are really high and she doesn't need a force unsuited to naval combat right now. They leave seeking contracts in Coral, but remain in good relationships with Maka, and mention that they might be back.
>>35109180Hope that guy comes back before it's time to deal with the Abyssals.
>>35109228SameI also hope that immaculate monk comes back to be our consul/advisor
Wait, what happened with the Abyssal's invitation to meet near the beginning?
>>35109363He said keep it a secret and we told Amata
Anyone notice with all the DBs and Lunars we're allies with, we're getting close to a true Perfect Circle? Maybe as close to one in Ages?
>>35109397Its not really something we can overlook given that its deliberate and announced.
>>35109397Exaltedfag did mention that was intentional, we still need to get a Dawn caste ally and Regis to Exalt as a Night Caste
>>35109397For a true Perfect Circle doesn't every Celestial exalted need at least one Dragon-Blood servant?
>>35109397>>35109420enlighten my what was necessary for a true perfect circle
>>35109444regis becomes our dawn, and millian our night caste
And Running Swallow, from the Five Fangs Dojo. A mortal martial arts student, and a pretty damn good one at that, who wants to follow Maka to put his own abilities to the test. A very serious, man-of-few-words type of person.Once all the meetings are concluded, you have a few words with Irene, and find out that the guards have been spotting suspicious people in the night, probably Abyssal spies. There's also some exposition on Maka's past: her family ruled Gem for three generations, until a Rankar VII managed to gain enough support among the noble families of the city to start a coup d'etat. Her family was either captured or maybe they somehow managed to escape, but she has no idea of how things are there now. She ran to Tianna because she had spent some time there in a vacation when she was a kid, and remembered the queen of that place being very kind.Meanwhile, your pirate crews (currently under training) aren't taking their transition to a less independent lifestyle well, but the loot and their first payday are keeping them in line. Also admiral Rajan is someone who manages to command respect. And Irene lets them mount a few pieces of Essence artillery on their ships.A bit more of relationship consulting with Smoke and Samiel, who are struggling to get along, happens.I think I'll stop here for now. Maybe i'll continue later, but maybe i'll have to make a third thread another day to finish.
>>35109446Because it's awesome? It's a Perfect Circle of Solars, their Lunar Mates, a Sidereal Advisor, and their Dragon-Blood servants. And seeing as how we're a Zenith, we'd pretty much be the leader.
>>35109479Why would a Swallow need to run? Doesn't it have better options?
>>35109479Cool, we blew through about 20 or so threads this time so at least next time will be the last one and we'll be done with the recap
>>35109446Every Exalted of every Caste, Lunar, Solar, Dragonblooded and Sidereal put together to achieve their goals. One of the most powerful forces in Creation, and hasn't been seen since the First Age due to all the in fighting
>>35109524Fuck off tard. Why the fuck would a quest move there, expecially when its a shit place to run quests, that doesn't even have the support necessary to run them?
>>35109524>No archiving>No extensions>No players>No community>All for some retarded irrelevant 'statement'How about no.EF, don't you go anywhere you fabulous bastard.
>>35109446A Perfect Circle is five Solars ,their Lunar mates, a Sidereal Advisor, and DB circle for each SolarEF has mentioned he wants to at least fill out our Solar Circle, we'll see about the rest
>>35109524Every single alternative to running quests on /tg/ is better for quests than that site, so go advertise elsewhere spammer.
>>35109524>and we could use some fresh blood over there to really get things going. Then make your own quests over there instead of trying to poach ours.Piss off.
>>35109544That's not quite right, there's only 1 Sidereal, and there doesn't have to be a Lunar of every Caste, they're the mates of the Solars. Also you're likely to end up with more than 5 Dragon-Blooded.
>>35109621A Perfect Circle early First Age style, would be 5 Solars, 5 Lunar Mates, a Sidereal advisor from each Caste, plus the dragon-blooded followers of each Lunar and Solar. So we definitly won't get a "true" perfect circle. But we get pretty close.
>>35109708I'm pretty sure it's always been 1 Sidereal, because there are only 1/3 as many Sidereals as Solars/Lunars.
>>35109621I thought it was one of each type of Dragonblooded per Solar?
>>35109777Probably, I don't remember if it was 1 of each per Solar, or one of each per Celestial Exalted.Either way, it's more than 5.
>>35109777It was a gentes per Solar. Each Solar had one sworn to himself, A gentes is btw a entire family of dragon-blooded.>>35109761Shit is from Dreams of the First Age, so yeah, its bullshit, but what can you do.
Oh hey, another "Argue about being slutty as an exalted thread"!
>>35109860Fuck off shitposter
>>35109860No one has mentioned that at all.
>>35109860Its not like all Exalted are slutty. Just most of them.
>>35109761Either some doubled up and were part or multiple circles or not every Solar was a part of a Circle
>>35109884And Maka is the queen of it after what happened with the shocking triple digits affair
>>35109887That kind of Circle only existed during the Primordial War, we can imagine only very rarely did they have the entire Host in the field at once.>>35109902>Triple digits>for a SolarTop kek, thats a afternoon for the First Age Solars.Hell even House Cynis does better, and those guys are "just" dragon-blooded.
>>35109860Oh boy here we go yet again.
>>35109925999 people in a single evening, when you were already focusing on someone else seems to be pretty bad to me
Ignore and report the trolls and shitposters.
>>35109970Except it wasn't 999 people, its tripple digits. So it might have just been 100. Or even less, since she guessed. We had diskussed the logistics of it at length the other thread. Read it up if you missed it.
>>35109990Yeah, the logistics which stated it would be impossible or painfully boring for Maka.Or that one explaination which would make it a far more reasonable affair.
>>35110006It doesn't matter, shut the fuck up about it.
>>35110006You mean the one where OP could state that "Partner" in that scenario could be any tom, dick or Harry or groped, kissed or shared someone else with Maka? Instead of having to fuck her directly.
So which thread in the archive is the triple digit orgy?
>>3511005429 or 30.Leaning towards 30.
>>35110054>>35110070Yeah, it was thread 30
>>35110046That would be a good way to solve the tensions a little bit, but it's not like it actually happened for anything other than shock value
>>35108552How much was the commission?
>>35108552Why didn't you commission it from someone good?
>>35110273Get out of here troll.
>>35110304If it was like, 10$ or something, I could understand, but if it was upwards of 50$ then holy shit that's some wasted money
>>35110220Expensive. Deculture seems to have increased his price. Next time, if there is a next time, I will ask for something more simple.>>35110273I don't know many accessible drawfags that will do comissions. That and I had told him I'd comission it in the drawthread.Fun fact: that chibi Maka was suppose to be the scene comissioned, but the request was too complex for the drawthread.
>>35110349>Fun fact: that chibi Maka was suppose to be the scene comissioned, but the request was too complex for the drawthread.Yeah I remember you asking for it, I think that was the same thread where I asked for the spanking pic
>>35110349Was it upwards of 50$? Holy shit man you've totally got ripped off
>>35110401>Was it upwards of 50$?Jesus fucking Christ I hope that isn't true
>>35110362I liked your request, man. I liked that I wasn't the only one asking for exalted quest things.>>35110401It was expensive because ofte exchange rate, not just because of the pricing. But di say, who else would you comission that's cheap?
>>35110342>10$>For more than 3 hours of workYou're delusional
>>35110401He doesn't charge that, half at most for single char pics
>>35110485>But di say, who else would you comission that's cheap?Chief bought a piece for cheap, I can't remember from who but he said it was so cheap he felt bad about it and tipped extra
>>35110527It's fucking sad that people expect to be able to pay artists for hours of work, and pay barely fucking anything. If you were to pay entry level industry rates for a basic coloured single character commission thats well detailed, you'd be paying at minimum, $30 an hour, and yet you think its acceptable to pay $10 for more...
>>35110485Until I actually know how much you paid, I can't really see what exactly would be "cheaper"
>>35110485http://121642.deviantart.com/This is the guy Chief commissioned his pic from, but he's not taking any right now
>>35110693Why is it you care so much?If anon wishes to spend his money on what he wants, who are you to shitpost about it?
>>35110724I wouldn't consider what I'm doing to be shitposting, I'm just making banter about commissioning, and that he would most likely have found a better deal.
>>35109902Please, Maka still doesn't hold a candle to Amata in her prime.
>>35110761All you've done since you entered this thread is bitch and moan and its been very obvious, your posts are anything but 'banter'
>>35110817I don't think I have been, but, believe as you will.
>>35110693Assume that cost $40.
>>35110714Archelon commissioned him as well.Dude does good work.
>>35111022Crazy cheap too, Chief was right I would feel bad about those prices for that kind of work
>>35111029I think he probably makes a lot of his cash from tips, because of his overly reasonable prices.
>>35111320I hope so
>>35110555>"entry level industry rates">from hobbyistsTop kekI mean, I'm all for artists getting paid a fair shake, but there's your explanation right there as to why it's acceptable. Wanna make it worse? There's artists out there-- talented ones-- who'd gladly accept that wage. Hell, a lot of 'em even speak English.
