You are Risa Schrodinger and you are currently having a phone call with your nemesis outside of one of her base camps. Last time you got tech support from some Indian guy and then decided to go to Yomi and fight Izanagi, even though it is probably a bad idea, solo and you also accused Sunflowers of being lazy. We didn’t mention anything but it happened in your secret brain. “The bloody hell you on about? This is a fantastic idea.” You object.“Are you- Oh, you are having a psychotic break. Take your time.” Mendel’s voice has a note of resignation to it as she starts shuffling papers around, likely trying to get some work done while we have our little sit down.“Right, thanks. Now what’s this about my perfect idea being a bad idea?” You ask again.Think about it. Izanagi is supposed to be some scary ruler of the dead with super magical awesome powers right? A goddess driven insane after eating of the hearth of Yomi and her husband turning to look at her and getting her trapped in there forever because she was all ‘Seriously, don’t look at me and get out of here.’ Then he was all ‘Babe, what you wearing babe? Ugh, so hot.’ And she was all ‘Um, I’m naked I guess but seriously don’t- The fuck did I just say you stupid git!’ and she was trapped there killing blokes right?“I- Maybe? I’m not sure specifically what happened but that is the gist of it.” You reply. So, we have a major goddess in the Shinto lore, which somehow inclines you to think it best to try and solo the bird. I seem to remember you having a bit of trouble with the less than major gods when you had a party with all the major basis hit. Hiroshi was the white mage, Jager the ranged attacker, Sin-fin was the black mage, Ryoko melee striker, you mid ranged striker and Shiba was status ailment support maybe? We digress; anyway what was your plan here?(1/5?)
“Pretty obvious, innit? I wait for the gate to open and pull her out of Yomi and kill her here. Then Sundays.” You say. You don’t see any major flaws in that plan? Any tiny yet important details which might make it a bit hard to do? “No, not really. My plan is perfect.”A couple small issues, just one or two. You know she did eat of the hearth of Yomi right? Which means she can’t get out according to the myth. “Makes it easier, I can just laser her at the entrance.” You explain. Because she is like a cheap computer game enemy. You also have Mendel here to deal with who probably has super-secret plans of her own. Also I sort of want to claim Izanagi as mine; it’s a whole thing.“You do seem to have a thing for battered wives. Oi, Mendel, you weren’t planning anything were you?” You ask.“Hm? Oh, of course not. I obviously made a giant world cracking laser and deployed bleeding edge technology just for your sake.” She replies.“See?” You ask.I don’t even know you right now. You look over at the laser pulsing and shivering as it drills into the massive boulder which blocks the way into the underworld. You feel your scientific curiosity bulge uncomfortable in your tight brain parts as the computers on the device start making strange symbols on the screen. “So while we’re on the subject. How does that laser thing work anyway?”(2/5?)
“It is quite fascinating really. The beam is composed of world damaging energy which when sent at a sealed dimension which partially intersects causes an instability on the quantum level. After we bombard it with the energy it creates two versions of the portal between the worlds; one closer to our world, and another further away. Once we have one of the versions of the portal closer to us we use a computer to calculate the stabilization and, well, essentially observe it. It then collapses into being open, I imagine you know the idea of Schrodinger’s cat? Well, that is actually a misnomer since it was disproving it with radiation and saying an unobserved-“ Mendel clears her throat. “Right, sorry about that. Just a very exciting application of theoretical physics.”“Magic, got it.” You say looking around the camp.“That is the exact opposite of what I said.” Mendel replies calmly. You hear several sirens go off in the tent. “Those exciting theories how you track me?” You ask.Mendel is quiet for a moment. “Just like a black hole. We can’t see you directly so we have to observe the damage you do to reality and follow that. Imprecise but we are learning.”“Let me ask you something-“ You start but never get to finish. From behind the boulder you hear a gnashing of claws and screaming. Reality gives way and for a moment you think you can just turn it into a race, however a moment after that you feel the world of Yomi pull on you. You try and sonido away but it isn’t enough. You and the camp get pulled into the dark chasm below the earth, sent spiraling between dimensions at a speed generally reserved for stars and planets.(3/5?)
You hit the soft wet ground and get sent into a spin completely skewing your sense of direction. You feel yourself getting sent randomly through different spiritual winds and warped across distances. You stab into the ground with one of your tails and carve a path into the earth below but it does little to slow your flight. Your wings burn as you try to gain control and you continue to stab your tails into the soft earth below. Finally, after all nine of your weapons of mass fluffification have carved trenches into the ground below, you slow to a stop. You carefully set yourself down and look around. You are underground, or at least in a dimension which has a ceiling of earth rather than sky. The stench of must and rot fills your nose like a tomb with some still partially fresh bodies within. Strange sounds of halting movement reach your ears and you get the impression the massive world has some population. You hear some nearby earth get disturbed and you can smell a living soul so you set off in that direction. As you approach you feel your heart, or the equivalent organ, start to pound furiously.(4/5?)
“Four by three by two by one,I’ve entered a world that has no sun.” You say upping your cloaking and letting your voice ring out.You see a woman in a lab coat. Her eyes go wide as you rhyme around her. She pulls out a radio and starts pushing a button and trying to get a signal and you continue your song.“While the stench of death, and pain, and fear and rot,Truly does get me all bothered and hot.” You continue as the woman starts crying and says some stuff into the talking box.“I’m sorry to say this was not my plan,To fall into the underworld of Japan.” You continue circling around her.She pulls out a small pistol and fires off into the darkness making you smile wide in delight at her terrified expression. She pants heavily as she backs away and you allow your eyes and smile to form behind her in the darkness. “I need your radio, so say IAs such I’m afraid I need you to die.” You finish. She spins and you wrap her in your ultra fluffy tails. You shift the hairs around her into hooks and dig them into her skin. You pull down and away tearing off her flesh and leaving her standing there as a bloody muscle system. Her eyes roll up in her head and she takes a few steps before falling over dead. You shake out your tails and grab her lab coat and radio before discarding the useless stuff. You put on the jacket and clip the radio to your belt before sniffing the air. You imagine several of the living people have hit the ground, and some bunnies, trees, and various other things around the mouth of the portal. You can smell something massive is prowling around the land of the dead, spiritually massive and absolutely insane, and you don’t think it would be too hard to find if you put your mind to it. However the force also dwarfs you and that is somewhat troublesome.(5/6)
You hear the radio start to click and you suspect it is one of Mendel’s people. You could try to seek them out in hopes of finding out more, or just because you sort of really like hurting people. Or you can try to escape this place, because it is seriously bad news. Seek out the big thing Find the people, see what they can offer you Try to find the exit. It is too spooky in here Other, please specifyGoing to grab a quick shower while people get in here. Questions, concerns, comments, accusations, butt discussion, waifu wars, etc. for the first little bit. Will answer when I return then we can get started.
>>33723292this is why I wanted to go solo, we can do violent things now. Couldn't do Scarborough Fair with Jager and the kids latching on to our ankles>>33723313> Find the people, see what they can offer youthey might know something about the big thing and probably have semi amusing death rattles
>>33723313Pretend to be the person we skinned. See if we can't get Mendels goons to act as our disposable forces....
Monologue, you're a nigger. A prophetic one, but still a nigger. What we have here is Izanami, Izanagi is the husband.
>>33723313This: >>33723364and >[x] Find the people, see what they can offer youThey might know some information that could come in handy now/later, and may serve as meat shields or bait later on.
>>33723313> Try to find the exit. It is too spooky in hereSeriously, trying to fight one of the progenitor goddesses in her own domain, alone, when we had problems with one of the mid-tiers and we had a full party is just stupid.
>>33723313> Find the people, see what they can offer youIt's a start.
>>33723388True. The question is whether we should seek out Mendel's lackeys or just try to seek the exit ASAP.Although I get the feeling that if this was a trap, Mendel probably would not have populated it with people who were semi-valuable or knowledgeable.
>>33723313> Find the people, see what they can offer you
>>33723364This seems like a plan. I mean she did get them all here and had a plan of some sort. Any backup plans should have involved violence in some form.I'm hoping to use everything they have to get Izanami to manageable levels.Wonder what other tasty things this place holds. With our cloaking we can seek them out willy nilly.
Japan still gives a shit about Shintoism? I thought they were largely irreligious.
>>33723539They don't. Hence why the gods are half dead, surviving off reserves.
Okay, so we want to shift into the person we killed and try to find people.
Quick thing as a potential idea: Izanami is a strong god and has a grudge, probably, right? What if we try and point her at Izanagi, through portals to Hueco Mundo and the like, mind you, help her off him, and then off her in her greatly weakened state
>>337240101) she can't leave2) we don't know where the fucker is
Ok. Well I just got here and I gotta say that it's refreshing that the go-juice sense thing actually worked on a thing for the first time in forever.Seriously. This is the last time I can remember that we got a straight answer in regards to juice for anything, even if they don't actually have cloaking.
>>33724087>This is the last time I can rememberThis is the first time in a long time I can remember*
>>33724010Could we try and taunt Beelze into coming here, then lure him into a fight with Izanagi, then get them both in a 2 for 1 special on Power-ups?
>>33724179I've seen similar strategies to this tried in other quests and it never goes well.
>>33724179They will probably both end up killing us instead.

“Right, I suppose I should look for those Mendel forces. They have to have a plan.” You say. Because we don’t. “Oi. Mind your gob, I’ve totally got this under control.”You look over the woman you skinned and your body pops and shifts. You feel your skin taking on a noticeably different shade and your hair shortens and twists itself into a braid. You pick up her glasses and perch them on your face before putting your hands on your hips and smiling. “Right then, that- Oh, the voice. Ahem, La la la!” You start singing until your voice gets close to what the woman’s screams were like. You adjust your go juice so it smells pretty human then turn on the radio. “Hello! Is anyone there.” Oh that’s not bad. “This is Doctor Chance. Please someone out there help.” You request.“D… Chance? This is… of the… to my location… will…. Over.” A rough male voice responds. You decide to cheat a little and sonido around the area in a circle until the signal gets stronger.“I repeat, Doctor Chance, this is Donald Spencer of the recon force. Please make your way to my location and I will provide cover support as per mission objectives.” He repeats.“Understood. I am on my way.” You reply. I can’t help but feel we are missing something here. You take on human speeds and start a brisk jog. The ground under your feet is uncomfortably soft and you get the feeling it is made of the residences of the place. You find a metal briefcase along the way and pick it up, certain it is something Mendelish. You finally find the man you assume to be this Donald checking over his rifle. You raise your hand in salute. “Donald! Thank God I found you.”His hand goes to his pocket as he turns to you. He stares for a moment and then nods. “Doctor, of course. Sorry, this place just keeps playing tricks on me.” He explains.(1/3)
>>33724179That sounds like a horrible idea
>>33724179Unless Beezle has a vested interest in conquering/invading other extremely powerful entities' realms, that probably won't work.
>>33724329...they were expecting us, weren't they. Us infiltrating them was part of their plan.Clever bastards.
Admittedly the entire idea hinged on us talking to Izanami. After all, what we might not know, she might. Just would end up going more like our deal with the general of decay way back when we went arrancar. Also trying to feed Izanagi food from Yomi to trap him
You get a better look at him. Around six feet with longish brown hair. It looks like it would come down to about his mouth, but at the moment it is tied back in a small pony tail. He has those chiseled good looks which would probably make Jager all giggly and you detect a hint of a southern yank accent to his voice. You smile and let out a sigh. “Yes, I thought I saw some figures wandering around in the darkness. I was so scared.” You explain assuming what you think is a scared pose. “I am so glad I found you out here Donald.”“Donny.” He replies before looking at your metal case. “Is that a business suit?”You are confused, though you don’t show it, but you hand it to him and he sighs happily. “And it’s mine. I lost my grip on it when I got sucked in.” He explains. He pushes against a button on the side of the case and you feel a small surge of energy as it scans him. It pops open and you see folded neatly is a black suit radiating strange energy. He grabs his shit and looks at you. “Sorry, do you mind doctor?”You turn and hear the sound of rustling clothes as the soldier gets changed. You wait for a moment and turn back after a moment to see him in a black outfit which is almost skin tight. It reminds you of the armor the Ruskie had but light years more advanced. He puts on a visor of some kind and when he grabs his gun you smell go juice flow into the weapon.“Let’s see.” He mumbles as his visor shimmers. “Looks like we have a few more of our people a few clicks west. Are you okay to move?” He asks.“Of course. Even if I wasn’t it’s not like I have much of a choice given the circumstances.” You reply. He nods and starts off on a jog. He presses against the visor and glances back at you to make sure you are keeping up. “This is Donny, I got Doctor Chance. She is Čapek Op-T zero zero twelve.” He explains. I have no idea what that means. “ETA, hour and a half.”(2/3)
>>33723185>and then decided to go to Yomi and fight Izanagi, even though it is probably a bad idea, soloNow that's just not accurate, Monologue. We decided to go check out the mystery box option, solo, and it happened to be this god and then we got roped into a conversation with Mendel because you just can't not verbally spar with that smug bitch even if she beats us over the phone almost as hard as boss cat beats us in the alleys.
You decide to let him do his soldier thing as you carefully act like you are falling behind. You pretend you are in a cool movie and doing slow motion effects when he isn’t looking while keeping speed to keep yourself amused. Sure enough in about an hour and a half you see several other people. A few soldiers in black outfits like Donny’s have set up a perimeter and tap their visors as you walk into the camp. You see there are, including you, about a dozen people. You go over to the sciency folks and nod. “I am so glad you are all alright.”"Doctor Chance.” An older man says. He wipes at his face with a handkerchief and you can practically smell the worry on him. “I’m so glad you’re alright. Quite an unexpected event isn’t it? Who could have foreseen that we would all get sucked in here?”“Yes, it was quite unexpected.” You reply. The man stares at you and nods gravely. “I am uncertain what quite to do here.” We should explore! For science, and stuff We need to escape, any idea where the exit is? Other, please specify(3/3)
>>33724444> We should explore! For science, and stuffFirst we get our bearings on where we are and what we're dealing with. Then search for an escape route. They're totally onto us..
>>33724444>We should explore! For science and stuffThey know. They so totally know. We may be stealthy but they've detected the lack of any presence around us, the curvature our stealth puts on local go juice or some such I reckon.THEY KNOW! But they can't know that we know they know.If they knew we know they would become hostile. Best play it safe and act like we don't know that they know so they don't know we know what they know.Maybe...I don't know.
>>33724444> We should explore! For science, and stuff
>>33724523The good news is that we kinda need each other. Well, they need us more. Even with their suits they won't live long here just with that group and extra firepower in a fight is nice for us.
>>33724444[x] Other: "Right you lot. You know, and I know. The problem is, there's a pissed off goddess out there that's not me, and then you lads. You leave, and let us ladies have it out, and that's it. You stay, and you get eaten by Izanagi out there."THEY KNOW. They know Chance has been compromised. There was probably some kind of passphrase we were supposed to say, and Donny scanning us with his visor only confirmed it.
>>33724444>[x] We need to escape, any idea where the exit is?
Know what else we can do once the gig is up? Try to open a Garganta and fail on purpose, even if we could open it. Then we say that Izanami's massive go juice is interfering with our ability to gate. So they either gotta help us off her or rot here. Assuming they don't have a way out themselves.
>>33724444"We still have a Job to do, and we should get back to it!"They have a plan. let's play along with their plan. Maybe find some fun toys to take home for our Science Division.... maybe take Mendals Science Division in exchange for not using them as Crazy God Bait...
>>33724641You're assuming that they didn't volunteer on this suicide mission to get Risa killed at the cost of their lives. They think they're sacrificing their lives for the safety of the human race.
>>33724401They fucking know, and they know that we know. But they aren't going to say anything because they know we'll kill them all if we know that they know.Basically, what they don't know is that we know that they know that we know that they know.
You bite your tongue, your mouth slowly filling with blood, and think to yourself. “What? They don’t know. Why would you think they know? Psh.” You let the crimson liquid drip down your throat and regenerate your tongue before smiling, your mouth cleaned. “Exploration of course. We should check this place out for the potential scientific benefits for all mankind.”“Of course, and with your vote we are in the majority. Let’s just move on then shall we?” The older man asks. The group moves forward with the soldiers in black taking point. They carefully swing their guns left to right while their visors continue to scan the area. You sniff periodically but the overwhelming go juice smell continues to stay the same distance away. You are reminded of a predator which circles at the same distance from the prey it is hunting. After a few Kilometers you hear the people in front shout “Contact!”You glance over their shoulders and see a few people, or you suppose corpses it more accurate. Their bodies have meat slaking off of them and organs spilling out of cavities in their chests. A few are just skeletons and when they look over at your group your group carefully keeps their weapons trained on them. They stare for a few moments, then turn and leave, evidently uninterested in your activities. I am sort of sad they didn’t say Charlie. You again have to bite your tongue to avoid talking to me and it sort of hurts my feelings as you continue on. You get the feeling you are being hunted as your group continues through the area but the corpses of people don’t really seem to care you are there. You glance around before you smell the strange scent of energy rising. Seems like something is coming. What do you do? Lasers! No, you are a meek science girl. Look how meek you are. Other, please specify

>>33725024>No, you are a meek science girl.act like the other scientists, but drift to the opposite side of the group from the direction the angry crazy god chick is coming from...
The soldiers glance up and make a hand signal to stop. They form a circle around the group and point their guns out into the darkness. They are still, well trained and with diamond breaking discipline which causes them to not waver no matter what. Also they have pretty nice butts so that’s always nice to see. From out of the darkness you see several wiggling forms. They seem pensive for a moment, then surge forward inhumanly fast. “Enemy contact.” One of the soldiers calls out and opens fire.As the first bullet leaves the yank bangy thing you get a look at it. The bullets are etched in careful writing in unique metals which carried an obscene level of energy. When they connect with the wiggling creatures they explode with raw energy which drives the creatures back and tears them apart. The smell of gunsmoke fills your nose as you stay behind the soldiers like the meek science girl you are, you silly lass. The encounter lasts only a few minutes with the soldiers carefully picking every shot. You have to admit they have an impressive level of professionalism as they continue checking the area with guns raised. “Fifteen minute break.” Donny calls out.The science fellows sigh and pull out bottles of water. You look around the area and feel the large energy start to get close. You consider telling them but from the way the soldiers are hoisting their weapons you think they probably know. The old scientist looks at you as he finishes sipping his drink. “Doctor Chance, are you feeling okay? Oh, you lost your bottle? Here, have some of mine. Have to keep your energy up.” He says.“That’s, you know.” You say clearing your throat. Continue the con. You are meek science girl! How could they be on to me? I am the best at sneaking! >>33725468> How could they be on to me? I am the best at sneaking! Break coverAlright, fuck this. Gotta get a plan ready otherwise I foresee getting shot in the back. Offer them a chance out if they help us off Izanami. They get to keep their lives, we eat the god.

>100 Well, I guess you can barely pass if you really want to. Damn it.You meekly wave your hand. “No thanks, I am still young.” You explain.“But we just walked a long way.” The older man objects.Shit, think of something quick. “Well, I am a lady.” You reply.“Yes, which is why you need to keep hydrated.” He says.“No silly. Much like the noble camel a woman’s lumps of fat can store water for many miles!” You explain. The group is silent for a moment confused about the wonders of the female anatomy then you frown. “I think they’re on to us Monologue.” You say at once. The doctor throws the bottle at you and you turn to the side. As it spills on the ground you feel your god rock parts screaming in hated agony at the twisted liquid. Your arm snaps out and turns into a mass of tentacles which bite down on the science guy’s flesh taking big bloody chunks out of him. The soldiers swing around and open fire but you quickly sonido overhead. The bullets take out the scientist as your body mutates back into your monstrously fluffy form. A few of the soldiers throw out small disks which you think are mines. You don’t give them a chance to do whatever it is they want to do. You throw out your cero at the cluster of people just as your long violet hair fills back in. The cero explosion sends the soldiers flying back and turns the scientists into bloody chunks. You fall to the ground and sonido forward after one of the soldiers. He draws a thin blade and takes a swing but you spin and duck under his slash. You grab him by the throat and lift him before slamming him into the ground and stabbing a hole into his chest. Your hand wiggles and morphs into something similar to a blender and quickly turn him into mush on his inside parts. You flip over the destroyed remains of the group just as another soldier is pulling out some device.(1/2)

>>33726340I've been stressing about this thread like all week ever since I made the mistake of bumping the last thread, and people decided to go full retard.I really think there's a fundamental disconnect between the quest you're running, and the quest these chucklefucks see, and I'm starting to wonder whether or not you're encouraging that.
>>33726468Also to explain more, this is still coming at things from an angle of us needing time to figure out how to not die again if we decide to fight it out.
>>33726294>[x] Run away!If this turns into another "talk to them for 6 hours" thing, I'm done. This is just retarded at this point. Every single thread we're getting locked into this disgusting grindpit.

>>33726294>> Run away!
Could you try to samefag in a less obvious way?
>>33726624I think they might. Too bad we'll never know because you idiots decided to come alone, and something is probably gonna happen to Izanami even if we manage to leave.

>>33726538Ah, sorry to have you stress about it. As for the disconnect thing I am not trying to actively encourage any sort of disconnect. How exactly do you think they see it?>>33726619The goal was not to "give us a chance to run before she escaped". An anon said he wanted more time when options were complex or difficult to talk it out and felt I wasn't catering to that.I am giving more time and announcing how much time I am giving before doing a secure vote thing. That's all.
>>33726603That's outright antagonism. It's bad enough that nobody really gives us any solid guidance, but to encourage bad decisions for people who don't get the joke?As if they aren't screwing up hard enough on their own?And every time Monologue gives shitty advice, that makes sure they won't listen when he actually gives good advice. This whole thread is fucked.
>>33726664One round of diplomance, all I'm asking. See if she's open to trying and killing Izanagi by trapping him in Yomi, which I am pretty sure I can figure out to do with a fruit of the land and some Loki tier trickery (in which case we also get the best shot we have of killing BOTH of them and feasting), or we can possibly get a reading from Azure on estimated power level to see if we absolutely need to run with our tails between our legs.
>>33726695I think they've gotten very good at playing as Risa, which means being petty, impulsive, and honestly kind of dumb. They think that because the MC is like that, that means things will work out if they act like that as well.Despite mounting evidence to the contrary, because you're still expecting them to make carefully considered decisions based off critically reading your posts.
>>33726787...We couldn't fucking beat Raijin solo. Why do you think we can beat his mom?
I'm more interested in where you people want to run. This is Yomi, she's the overdeity. So where to?
>>33726856Try and open a Laughing Garganta?
>>33726856I've actually been wondering about this for the last ten minutes.
>>33726798The thing is that does work out generally not bad for them, at least when they are alone. It's when there are other people, people they can't just sort of rip to pieces and kill, that they encounter problems. They are a petty hedonistic narcissistic broken monster and as a result they have a hard time dealing with situations which require them to not act like that is pretty much how the quest has been going I think.
>>33726787>I want to trap the two ridiculously strong gods in the same place so that it's easier to kill them both! So, come on man, let me talk to her with some awesome totally convincing dialog that hasn't posted even though the time limit for writeins is up.This is fucking brilliant.

>>33727063There were alot of idiots in the thread, yes, but it doesn't change the fact that it was enjoyable. And I am aware that it was a direct result of a shitstorm.
>>33727054It's entirely possible. That talking really was the right move somehow.Like maybe the whole "we're stuck in her world" thing was showing that running away wouldn't work. But since we're all so fucking bad at talking, and Monologue supporting talking in a shitty way, and considering we've had to run the last two times, running away seems the logical option, which makes it kind of shitty and manipulative if it wasn't, because punishing players for showing restraint never works.See Fenrir.
>>33727184What's done is done. Now I want to see where they planned to run from the owner of the domain if our Garganta doesn't work.
>>33726896Hey, that's blowing it in the wrong direction. The idea was see her reaction to asking why she was here, and then if she seemed rather pissed, try and nudge her into lashing out, giving us a bit of assistance as we *can* leave, and then fob watching into Azzy, putting on a geisha outfit, and then using that to try and seduce Izanagi and get him to eat of the fruit of Yomi to say hi to a vengeful wife.If that didn't work, plan B was several Violet Dawns to the face and then running like a little bitch as we realize that barely phased her, using Hate Engine and Laughing Garganta to flee and maybe hunt some lower tier mook devils in Hueco Mundo quickly so it's not a total loss, then bailing.
>>33727235If it doesn't work, then I'd say our only choice is some hardcore groveling. This sucks.
>>33727268Or this turns into a Benny Hill show with Risa running around cloaked, killing and eating whatever powerful things are here until strong enough to face the boss.Or we try and find a way into Hell proper, then into Hueco and out, though this might be even worse. Guess we'll see our options after this.
>>33727343I don't think you can get out of Hell. And eating anything while in Yomi is a no-no.

“No monologue, I am not giving you the hook up.” You grumble as you slowly step back. “Actually I am sort of triple dead suicide.” You explain raising your hands. “So not really alive like those fellows I was with. Just trying to make them more dead.” You explain. You see the forms of the soldiers you kill start to twitch and move. “So how about I just bugger off to-“ You start then sonido at your maximum speed away from the scary dead goddess. She lets out a shriek of indignation and chases after you sort of like the myth. You feel the air of Yomi start to cloud around you and wear away at you, but you ignore it and press on with her hot on your heels. You think carefully and get an idea. You land by a small cluster of the humans who had yet to meet up with you and smile wide. They turn and aim their weapons at you but you just give them the two fingered salute and blow a raspberry. Like a storm, the twisted, rotting, monstrous thing that is the dead Izanami arrives. She screams in hate at the sight of the living and swings a skeletal fist at them. You nimbly avoid it and sonido away hoping your little trick worked. You sigh in relief as she continues to rampage around the bodies of the living and loses interest in you. You imagine her hate of the living still survives more than her indignation at your slight. You sniff the air and decide to… Try and find a way out of Yomi by following the flow of the spirit Did you smell sulfur? Investigate that. That doesn’t sound like a “get the hell out of here” Try and force your way into hueco. It might be hard but it could be possible. Other, please specify
>>33727379We could have waited.Since the goal was mostly to trap us, Mendel probably would have waited a bit.But nooooooooo.
>>33727378Azure confirmed that if we got into Hell we wouldn't be getting out so easily. And since Yomi is a part of Hell... But it is bleeding into Hueco, so that's something. And we can probably eat the denizens. I mean fuck, if we're stuck, we're stuck and might as well level up.

>>33727539next time don't panic
>>33727539All of them could have worked, with running away almost guaranteed to work if you did it as soon as you could with some clever moves. You got away, you succeeded in running so it wasn't a "bad" option.Just saying "TALK TO PERSON" Doesn't indicate an instant win. If pure stupid fell out of Risa's mouth then it would not have worked. If you said something that would make the insane goddess of death not want to bother with you then it would have probably happened since she was not automatically hostile.I seriously can't keep explaining the meta every choice here.
>>33727591The same ones who didn't even read his posts clearly enough to vote right?
>>33727625Because that was her husband who disobeyed and just rejected her. That doesn't mean she'd automatically hate everyone who runs.

>>33727901What were we supposed to say?Should we have tried complimenting and flattering her? Things Risa is largely incapable of doing for someone else?
You sniff the air as you remember the fog leaking into your world. It came from this side and unless the whole world is filled with it odds are it is still flowing there. As Izanami continues her rampage around the living, bolts of flame and ice and everything else flashing in the distance, you carefully track the energy. You keep your cloaking up as you follow the gentle movements of the fog and smile when you think you have the hang of it.You pause and you reach what looks like a tunnel system and try to get a mental map of the advance before you proceed. You think you have mentally followed it about halfway when you feel Izanami finish off the rest of the living. You smell her surge in power, then resume as she was before you found her, the tiny temper tantrum over. You sigh in relief as you smell the portal ahead with the mental map already finished.Through the portal?Y/N
>>33727951Which is why I voted for running. We had nothing in terms of shit to say and people weren't coming up with anything fast.

>>33728083I don't give a shit about befriending Izanami. I just think we could gain some mad Sin-Fin points.Unless there's something about Sin-Fin which sets Izanami off.
>>33728154Problem is, Hell is hard to get out of. And there's fucking Beelz/Meph there. We'd be in their realms with nowhere to run. If we can't solo Izanami, I don't want to try soloing Hell with no ways out.
>>33728154It's a lot harder to leave hell then to enter it.
>>33728197Beelz is in Hue Co. He doesn't want to go back to hell. Meph isn't hunting us.>>33728197>>33728209>Hell's hard to leaveYes, but that just means we can stay for a while and pig out on demons. God hunting up in the real world is a clusterfuck and we're confined to Japan. The angels are catching on, so eating them is a bother now, and demons aren't exactly all that common up there. It would be hard to get out, I'm fully aware, but it wouldn't be impossible and it's a fair price to pay for access to such a target-rich environment.
You step through the portal and feel an uncomfortable tingly feeling in your teeth. The moon is already high in the sky and the sound of various nocturnal animals being nocturnal and animals. You bravely ran away away. “None of your snark you cunt.” You say glancing up.Oh, I am going to snark. This is us having a snark. “Well at least describe the situation first so we can snark while dealing with the situation out here.” Oh fine. You look over the remains of the base camp and see a few science people have moved in. They stare terrified at you and seem to have been setting up several devices likely made to ambush you but because you escaped far earlier than they thought. They don’t seem to be particularly strong, but one is holding a device and pointing it at you.“And options?” You ask.Well, the giant tank thingy is still firing the laser at the boulder to keep the portal stable. The scientists here seem to be going to try and protect it with what they so they may need to get murdered. You could run from here and go back to the shrine, meaning you wouldn’t have to slaughter Mendel’s people, or you could smash the machine. If you really wanted to you could try and nick the machine which would be like taking the key to Yomi for yourself. Might prevent them from immediately opening it back up. Looks like we want to nick the machine?
>>33728318>Back to the shrineHow big is the machine we want to steal?Because I'm not sure if it'd fit in our pants. And when we're carrying it, it seems like Mendel would have ample time to call down the satellite laser or press the self-destruct button or whatever.Stealing the machine just... really doesn't seem feasible, unless someone else has a plan.
>>33728318[x] Nick the machine[x] And nick the device that the scientist is pointing at us. That probably should take precedence.
>>33728510I don't know, is this like Izanami where just voting for an option isn't good enough so we need an actual plan?Because I don't have a plan, and neither do the people who voted to steal it.I guess we could try our illusions to make things easier, but still.
>>33728510I don't care what we do with regards to the machine, but I'm feeling petty and Mendel's people must die.honestly, I think the machine's going to be a big fucking trap, but it's not like it matters. I was hoping you would play wingwoman with me and you ran. You ran from love! “What did you expect me to say? ‘Oh hello there evil crazy goddess would you like to werewolves with the voice in my head who may be a super scary thing?’” You ask as your arm gets obliterated by a device and you send violating tentacles out at the one who did it.Maybe! Something clever, you know. People stuff. “Oh, I’m rubbish at people.” You explain. So am I.You fire balas at the ones who run and furrow your eyebrows. “Wait, if I’m rubbish at people, and you’re rubbish with people then who is good at people?”Bridgette. Also Inventory but that is more of ‘An offer you can’t refuse’ sort of diplomacy. “Well, why did you think I could be helpful then?” You ask as you twist and tear off a scientists arms and begin beating him to death.Well you got Ryoko, Jager, and Sin-Fin. You are clearly better at people than I am. “Well, using my people skills, just trust me when I say it wouldn’t have worked out. She seemed in a foul mood.” You explain throwing out a cero and destroying a large chunk of the forest.Next time send flowers. “Right. So we done?” You ask. Yeah, we are good. You look at the large machine and climb on top of it. You push the shutdown button, the big red one, and the laser stops and the portal closes. You lift the large device and put it in your inventory before sonidoing off towards your shrine. You want to go check how spook night went. You follow the trail of go juice to Heather and throw open the door. Standing there dressed with cheap makeup and in a spooky vampire costume is David. He looks up at you and beams in a way that says “I did my best!”“Isn’t that more adorable than scary?” You wonder. The pout a little, adorably I might add, before they pull out something. They turn away from you and tie it around their neck before turning back and holding up their arms in a spooky way. And you are on the ceiling. Around Jennifer’s neck is a Mobius strip necklace threateningly dangling there are dangly like. You swipe at the air in Brandon’s direction and hiss loudly. “Keep that bloody thing away from me! You hear? You are spooky, okay? Not adorable, just too spooky!” You say.Your plant takes a tentative step and pulls out another Mobius strip. You fall to the ground and crawl away. “Knock it off! Oi, the hell you think you are going to do with that?” You ask.Your plant takes another step which you are pretty sure explains what they are going to do with it. You try and push away but the wall stops you and they take another step. Then another. As they get within arm’s reach your eyes water and you start crying loudly.Your plant takes a step back and you continue crying as loud as you can, unable to control the terror gripping your heart. Your plant puts the strip away in a way which hints they are saying “H-hey! It’s okay Nee-chan. Don’t cry.” But it is too little too late.(1/2)
As your plant looks around concerned Jager opens up the door. “Hey! What’s going on in- Eh? Risa?”You point at your plant and Jager looks confused. “Oh, the twirly strip thing? I still don’t get why you are scared of that.”“Jager! The plant is picking on me! Jager!” You cry loudly uncaring who you wake.Jager looks at the plant then down to you and sighs. She crouches down and starts rubbing your head. “There there. It’s okay, don’t worry. They are sorry for scaring you, isn’t that right?” She wonders.Your plant opens her mouth to say something, then just closes it and nods.Jager continues rubbing your head until you feel better. You probably shouldn’t check up on him.”You let Jager wipe your face clean. “So where did you go?” Your plant would say if they could talk. But they can’t.“I may have angered a Shinto goddess of the dead; well not really angered.” You say thinking. “Lass is just balls deep in crazy and I sort of ran away from her and so she killed some blokes. I also got a laser which may or may not be booby trapped. It is a massive machine and I stuffed it in my inventory. We should set up the waterpark.” Or go to one. “Or go to a waterpark. Time to find the funny frog. “Thanks Jager.” You say standing up. “Now to find the Sinful-Fins.”“Ah, sure. We should hang out later.” Jager says as you leave to find she who has an ass born to make humanity. You climb up the rope to Sin-Fin’s room and see her sitting on her bed. You say nothing as her dead eyes bore holes into you, opting instead to search through her outfits. You find countless adorable and amusing hats but pay no attention to them as you search for the one you need the most. You pull out the frog hat, walk over to her, and carefully put it on her head. She stares at you the whole time unblinking. You adjust it just so and nod at your handiwork.“You… left.” Sin-Fin notes. “I was left.”“Had to go deal with some goons and due to a staggering amount of over confidence or a troubling lack of understanding I went solo. Had to deal with it. But aren’t you lovely?” You ask grabbing her and pulling her to the bed.You carefully pet the funny fin and as you do so you make your next plans… Go after moon guy Continue petting Sin-Fin Talk to Sin-Fin (About what?) You continue petting the fin, her smooth cool body gently pressing into yours while you run your fingers through her black straight hair. It is a different sort of pleasant compared to Jager or Ryoko who seem eager to enjoy your company. She is like a particularly soft lizard, or a lovely sort of bird that just got done being abused and is still uncertain if you are going to love it or break its toes. You accept the creepy parallel and continue carefully doting on the Fin. “So, I met Izanami in the land of dead Japan. She was this lass who got burned by fire babies out of her lady parts and died. Then her husband went to the land of the dead to get her but she was all ‘Oh noes, I be dead now’ and they had a fight. Interesting parallels.” You say.“I… see.” Sin-Fin says as you continue petting her.“So that’s where you would have gone. With me, on adventure.” You explain as she shifts slightly. You start to vibrate a little in joy as Sin-Fin makes herself more comfortable under your petting. You have to be careful not to let it transmit through to her because that might spook her and she will hide on the shelf or in her Sin-Fin box. She has no Sin-Fin box. She needs a box.“I want us to be… together more. I like it when you… are nice and not…mean.” She explains as you feel the straight hair brush in between your fingers.Well this is a thing. If the fight's hard enough to require a memory clone release thing, then she's probably gotten injured, which means she probably wants some bullshit regen of her own.
You continue petting her and consider how slender and nice her neck is while you think about what to say. You curse the voices for giving you so few conversation topics but plow on ahead. “So has your girl-” She isn’t her girlfriend remember? Rejection? “Werewolf friend offered a happy fun time hang out idea?” “Yes. She said she wanted to see me… dress up more. With festivals and… swimsuits.” She replies.Very informative. >>33732729Wait a second...It's night time, isn't it? Doesn't that mean that the shinigami and Ryoko are going to, like, be asleep or something?
“Do you want to bring anyone else?” You ask.Sin-Fin tilts her head and the frog eyes move. My god. “What?” You wonder as Sin-Fin tilts her head the other way. She has leveled up from frog fin to Googly eyed frog fin. She is too powerful to be stopped by anyone. Mercy.“Shiba will… be sad if she is left be… hind.” She does have a behind. “Jager will want… to be with you. Ryoko likes… to watch.” She finishes ellipsing heavily.Well more or less who we thought. Still aren’t they a little asleep now? “Aren’t they asleep?”“That is when… the moon is alive.” Sin-Fin explains. “More… alive than normal.”You pause for a few moments as you roll through that thought process she went through to arrive at that statement. “But…” You start putting up some resistance. “When we get there won’t it be early morning?”“That’s when the moon is… sleepy.” She replies.Son of a whore that’s good. “That’s really good.” You agree. You get Jager and quickly wake up Shiba explaining Sin-Fin wants her outside. You go wake up Ryoko and quickly throw clothes on her before picking her up. You get your group together and nod. “Okay, the most Sinful Fins thought it would be a good idea to strike while the iron is hot on this moon fellow. In the north.”“Sensei, it’s late.” Ryoko explains rubbing her eyes.“Exactly. It means when we get there the moon will be sleepy. Her logic is perfect.” You say happily.Your group moves at their top speed to the northern peninsula. You carry Ryoko part of the way to let her sleep a little more as you make good time. You carry your scrub to the large shrine you heard of and feel a hole in the fabric of reality. You press your will into the gap as the moon starts to set and the sun starts to rise. Oh he is going to be so sleepy.(1/2)
You continue to wiggle your way through reality and find yourself standing on the edge of a still pond. The sky is filled with stars which are reflected on the pond and you quickly note the moon reflected in the pond isn’t reflected in the sky. Wait what? Before you can asks a blade falls into the water. For a few moments you consider the strange action but after you blink you are standing before a man in a pale robe thingy. He looks at you and- is he wearing eye shadow? “It’s rather tasteful, don’t you think?” Yeah it’s just a little, you know. “Tell me. What do I know about his guy liner and eye shadow?”It clashes. “Fair.”“What purpose have you come here to-“ He starts in his flowery Japanese. No options to talk. You send a perfect kick into his immaculate jawline and send him staggering back. Your eyes flash dangerously as you start up a combo attack morphing and shifting your body into a massive tentacle abomination. You spin up and over and slam your heel into his collar bone. He takes a swipe at you leaving a thin trail of white through the air which seems to bleed pale moonlight out.As you crouch low to continue dashing forward Jager fires her pistol and sends small spikes of drinking energy at the god. He slashes them away carving another small slice of moonlight into the air as you spear tackle him. He takes a few steps back before Ryoko follows up your tackle with one of her own for his other side. The two of you throw out attack after attack at his midsection, but his bones refuse to yield.Shiba rides on a cloud above you and throws out bolts of lightning at the god, which he easily reflects, before dropping down and slamming her spear into the top of his head. It doesn’t pierce and before she can try again a shimmering white energy surrounds him and sends you all flying back. You morph your legs into something similar to roots and stop yourself from getting sent as far as the others. You charge forward again and accompanying you this time is Sin-Fin. Her black dress, she must have second released, bites on the moon god’s legs and chest sending spears of darkness into him. He snarls in pain at her attacks and the second he turns you stab your fingers into his chest. He frowns, furious at your attack. He slashes twice then three time in the air finishing his drawing. He holds his blade a certain way and a torrent of phenomenal energy sends you scattering back in pieces. Your meat slams into the ground and skips a few places, quickly regenerating before it can be a major problem. As your body reforms you see Sin-Fin next to you. She coughs up black blood onto the ground which quickly slithers into her dress.(1/2)
“Oi, my funny fin, about time you changed outfits don’t you think?” You wonder. She nods as Jager pushes some buttons on the side of her massive gun and starts her summoning process. Sin-Fin looks left, then right and holds out her hand with a small smile. You see a shimmer of light and her eyes go wide in terror. “No. No I didn’t want-. You lied. You tricked me. You lied. No, no no no no. You aren’t Risa. No. Please, I’m sorry. No no no.” She begs. You see the Moon god stride onto the shore his face a mask of fury. You stand and make ready to strike, but Sin-Fin’s transformation stops you. A burning light explodes next to you washing the moonlit land in what feels like every supernova. Perhaps more like a recording of every supernova at once but at this range you can’t tell the difference. You turn to your funny-fin and as you look at her transformation you feel your heart sink. She is beautiful, her dress has changed into a sheer white number which shows the delicate outline of the body below. Her skin is no longer pale like a corpse or a ghost, but shaped like perfect porcelain. You feel your mind straining against the perfection before you. You feel hot tears form as the blood vessels in your eyes burst and your regeneration strains to keep up.Then she smiles and it fills you with the same awe that a man feels when confronted with an absolute monster. The same joy a mother feels when she kills her daughter to stop her torture. The sight looks like the sound of hope dying and being replaced with something absolute. You see six perfect wings jut out of her back and you momentarily note she looks fantastic with long hair. The hissing wrath of the wings carves small holes in the reality of the dimension.“Hello Risa. Strange, don’t you think?” Lucifin wonders.Well. >>33734728>>33734829I'm guessing that, seeing as he kinda screwed her over in the Beginning, and just now she was terrified out of her skin, that (s)he's going to be a threat, seeing as Lucifer is far more hostile in her eyes than he is in ours. Then again, it's still Sin-Fin, at least partially. That might help some.
It's funny. Both Jager and Sin-Fin have their higher release stages consisting of multiple different possible forms with the more powerful ones controlled by (potentially hostile) AI.Meanwhile Risa, the shapeshifting nutter, has a single form that's controlled by her. 3rd release seems to actually increase stability.Actually, it's not funny.
