With Lyle and his gang licking their wounds, you have had time to quickly recover your losses. With your eggs incubating soon your numbers will swell. Until then you have been keeping a close eye on Lyle and his remaining crew, who have been diligently working on repairs to their ship the Hel’s Angel. Some ways away in your outpost at the crash site of the Clarke, Theseus, the Unity AI has “remade” himself into the Clarke’s computer. By downloading a copy of himself and all his memories and subsequently deleting his original self. The new Theseus seems to be quite comfortable in his new abode.“If you wish to salvage my original shell it should contain many valuable resources.” He says. You have several workers take the terminal away to be torn apart for scrap metal. “However I would like to request assistance in repairing the network of this ship. Many of the existing terminals have been severed during the crash, and I am left with only a small portion containing slow processors and outdated hardware.”Welcome back to Hive Queen Quest!>Archives http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Hive%20Queen%20Quest>Twitter https://twitter.com/HiveQueenQuest>Various pasta http://pastebin.com/u/QuestDrone

>>32914512I mean, it's not a super big priority for us. And we're still clearing the ship for stuff and safety concerns, yadda yadda. You know how it is.
>>32914541Current Research>Small land drone>Large land droneAvailable research options>Lightning gunVery slow: potential of failure and destruction of sample deviceThis powerful weapon appears to throw rapid bursts of highly conductive plasma in a manner not unlike natural lightning. The humans of the Union call it a “CIP Pistol” which seems to stand for “Concentrated Ionized Plasma”. From what you have seen of it in action, it appears to have devastating damage potential, but is difficult to aim and holds a very short effective range.>Ion thrustersSlowThe Unity drone is held aloft by a series of powerful ion thrusters that use the air particles around it, or stray particles found in the interstellar medium to accelerate and change vector in a highly efficient fashion. No real fuel is needed, only a powerful electrical charge. The only major drawback is that with the increase in efficiency comes a drop in overall performance and power. The Unity appears to have gotten around this limitation by carrying their drones in larger ships that transport them in and out of combat, and by limiting the drone’s size to a bare minimum.>Cyclotron particle beamsVery slow: Runs a potential of failure and destruction of the sample device.Unlocks Liner particle beam researchThe Unity drone is equipped with four powerful cyclotrons, a ring of superconductors that use powerful magnetic fields to rapidly accelerate a series of particles to near-light speeds, which are each attached to one of the four main weapons. The cyclotron is both compact and efficient, but is relatively fragile as damaging any one component will disable the entire system. It also requires a short but noticeable amount of time for the cyclotron to accelerate a new shot. The drone fires them in sequence to account for this and provide more firepower.>>32914540Well you already have computer technology in the form of your thinkers. Same tech, different method.
>>32914553>Conductive armor platingMediumThe Unity drone appears to have been designed with the energy based CIP pistol in mind. Layers of highly conductive struts frame the armor like a faraday cage, protecting the inner working components from electrical fields and directing harmful blasts of energy away from critical areas. It is much less effective against solid projectiles however, and is only as strong as the metal alloy plating covering its chassis.>Oxygen recyclerSlowIn the process of disassembling the human environment suit, the thinkers found a culture of artificially mutated microorganisms. They were able to take several samples and have set them aside for further study and application. The humans appear to have used them in a small tank to turn CO2 into breathable oxygen, you may be able to do the same, reducing the rate at which your drones need to breath, allowing them to work in areas even a filter lung would not function such as underwater or in vacuum.>Reactive armorSlowWhile most of the human suit systems are designed to solve various failing of the human body, you may be able to learn from their chosen method of protection. The suit has a thin layer of microfibers that rapidly solidify into a dense shell when subjected to dangerous kinetic force, both serving as a cast for broken bones and protecting against blunt trauma. Developing a method of weaving a similar substance into your drones would greatly improve their resistance to impacts and ballistic attacks; however it would have no mitigating effect on directed energy weapons.>Human dissectionThe two human corpses taken from outside the Hel’s Angle are, between them, in good condition and could offer insight into human biology if dissected and studied fully.>BallisticsWhile the ranged weapons of the humans are not unlike your own, they do hold a variety of projectile types. Study of this ammunition variation could provide new kinds of projectiles to face new kinds of armors.
>>32914512after we finish scavenging, and having out thinkers dig through the files first.
>>32914553Thinkers can't get augmentations? Or at least reverse engineer how they store their data?Just saying, we should research anything that could help us research better.
>>32914551I'll support this."Yeah sure Theseus, we'll have a thinker and a couple of drones do whatever you want, but we're busy right now.
>>32914573make more thinkers, they are cheap and the upkeep isn't much.
>>32914565>>Conductive armor plating>MediumThe Unity drone appears to have been designed with the energy based CIP pistol in mind. >>32914551I agree with this.
>>32914512Ya later,Lets research and figure what every system on the ship is before connecting it to the ai to be safe.
>>32914604>>32914551>>32914576Can we have our thinkers snoop as well, before helping him?Like i said here.>>32914572
>>32914565>Regeneration Tank – These large tanks appear to be designed to rapidly heal wounds in some way, and further research of the tank’s fluid and the mechanism of the tank itself should offer insight into its inner workings.>Gravetic Materials – The strange exotic matter known as Canderon found within the Clarke appears to alter spacetime to some degree in the area around it when subjected to powerful electro-magnetic fields. While incredibly volatile, this material is clearly the key to Human Warp Drive technology, and research could lead to the replication of this technology if given time.>Grape Shot - This strange local fruit bursts open violently when disturbed, hurling sharp barbs in all directions. The potential weapon applications are obvious, but research must first be done to increase the explosive force to be effective in combat. The name, you note, is from one of Lee's few entries into the Union black box during their stay on the planet.>Fungal spores - The incredibly deadly spores of the ocean are a potential for further study, although grate care must be taken to avoid infection.>Berry birds - The strange animated fruit of the small bush found in the jungle are interesting specimens. You are curious what a more in-depth study may reveal of the creatures, which seem to be both plant and animal at once.
>>32914565How long would the Ballistics and Human Dissection take?I would like to get those done soon.
How many days till the army hatches?
>>32914621Can we study the lizards and the flying jets as well?
>>32914617Sure, why not? Though deleting data ought to be a mortal sin to Theseus if he came about the way he did.
>>32914639Those are my next priorities after our current projects too.
>>32914642Right when lyle is about to leave, to add tension.
>>32914617The only problem I have with that is not having thinkers researching. How long would file snooping take?
>>32914573You know, you're right.I'll think of something nice, but for now it will need to just sit in the corner till I think of a tech for it, but you're right, it should be researchable.
Just dissect the humans while there there still fresh.
>>32914674how about, how unity shares knowledge?oryou can use the larger drone research to help make super thinkers.
>>32914512send many more workers to speed up the tunnel construction under Lyle's ship. I do not want to risk them fixing their ship before our new troops hatch. Also, we should lay more drones now that we recovered a lot of food.
>>32914541Lay more workers and thinkers.
>>32914710Ya that makes sense.More drones and also more warriors.Always got to expand
>>32914674How about instead of using the filthy inferior human tech to make us research better. We make it so the more thinkers there are the better they perform.Kind of like the Geth if you're into Mass Effect.
>>32914674I was hoping to figure out how to crack Unity brains open for delicious (degraded dependent on dice roll) data. Theseus wiped the brain so it'd be silly to assume there's anything left to find, but study of architecture to determine likely methods for the future? Maybe. Or maybe not!
lets double our amount of workers and thinkers guys.
>>32914657I mean Slow, Medium, or Fast. They don't have an entry like the rest on that list.
>>32914739Well duh, we could study the technology to determine a way for our Thinkers to be more efficient. Data structures and stuff. Kinda like what >>32914756 said.>>32914764This too. I support this notion.
>>32914674Have the brains connect them selves and transfer their thoughts while connected, kinda like in Futurama.Maybe even be a nutrient cost boost.
>>32914776We've historically performed dissections in relatively short order. Ballistics being an augmentative tech suggests it'd be in the similar vein.
Research Humans and berry birds.Learn about our rivals and what the heck is on this planet
>>32914649You already studied the flyers, which got you the ram jet.Which lizards?>>32914639Dissection is one of the fastest research actions, so a day.Ballistics would be a little more difficult, but with your current thinker count it would be the same.>>32914710well you already have more drones on the way, but they don't get counted in the census in the OP till they hatch.>>32914739ME1 was amazing, ME2 was fun but ultimately pointless despite Legion being by favorite character, ME3 was so bad the demo made me feel violated.>>32914776That;s mostly because I wrote them up just now. >>32914814Look at it this way, if ME2 hadn't been made into a game then the plot of ME3 wouldn't have needed to be modified.I play the multiplayer though, it's fun.
>>32914786I actually meant the equivalent to a dissection, but on AI brains. So... whatever that means in terms of rewards. Increased ease of communication with Unity? Increased chance of recovering data from Unity 'corpses'? First step in Queen backup tech? Who knows!?
>>32914814I hate how they ruin Legion and basically made every character from ME2 a cameo, add a few useless chacters, change the original ending of the relays causing black holes, and making the star child affect my Shepard who watched a whole galaxy die because of himthey also brought back the reapers masters, that promised to rape every one after the war is finished, and made a protheon squad mate DLC only that is on the dic, hell they even introduced kai leng the cereal eating bad guy, or how lazy they were with Tali.

>>32914814Anyways back to The Quest I'd like to research Human Dissection and Ballistics next please.
>>32914901>>32914879And was I the only one who was caught totally off guard by the ending being all about machines v organics when they hadn't touched on it hardly at all in ME2 aside from side-quests?

>>32914893Creating a backup queen in stasis connected to the network to seamlessly activate and continue operations in the event of the queen's death. It's basically game-breaking so I don't think it's actually at all likely. just throwing out random ideas.
You reach out to the new Theseus, still unsure of what he had just done. "Perhaps later, when the ship is more stable. There is much to search through still."You sense a slight uneasiness in Theseus. "Of course, I do not wish for you to risk harm on yourself at my expense."Just as you detect his feelings, he detects yours. "I assure you, I am the same mind, for I hold the same component memories. Death is meaningless so long as data survives."You are still unsure, but you take his word for it.>>32914841It's a topic for another time, but I just wish that they both had a competent writer and went the "Element Zero causing the heat death of the universe" rout instead. >>32914925Nope.>>32914911Whatever you say man. I don't care that much anymore after that last half hour of not understanding each other that occurred.
How are we communicating with Theseus again?Radio or psychic?
>>32914925Here is the real ending,http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:The_scrapped_%22dark_energy%22_ending

>>32914984Can we get back on topic please?Besides that theory is bull anyways.
>>32914989That's actually a good idea, though I think they would notice something if a couple of cables are somehow cut.
>>32914939As the day goes on, you can see Lyle continue his patrol. Today he appears more idle, although he is still clad in his heavy armor. A standard hardwired connection connects to an adapter that translates digital data into mental data and vice versa.
Huh so lyle is letting his guard down.Prob just watch and then strike all at onceSend in some drones to act as bullet catchers and mess with the ship when we attack so the warriors focus on the real threat
>>32914970Psychic radio. No, really.>>32914989Oh god, that's brilliant. Toss some of whatever's arcing all over the place over into their area.

>>32915020Your hive works diligently, and your sniffer watches as the crew of the Hel's Angel hefts one of the engine housings back onto its gimbal with great effort, using a small unfolding crane taken out from within the ship's cargo hold. As the day progresses you oversee the construction of your throne room. The frame of the room is complete, and your workers start on the more delicate parts of the architecture. A chorus of joy interrupts you."We have done thing for Queen!"Your research into large drones is finished."We are almost finished! Very nearly!" Your other thinkers shout in reply.>Start new research>Boost the slowed research
>>32914814>well you already have more drones on the way, but they don't get counted in the census in the OP till they hatch.I know we do. I mean to lay even more. We should be constantly expanding. >>32915085can we build even more workers, and thinkers?
>>32915086Amen to thatand start the human research cause if we kill lyle we need to see what baseline is to compare

>>32915085>Boost the slowed researchwant all 20 to be free first.
How are the thinkers divided again? Is it 50 - 50 for research and helping managing things?
>>32915085>Boost current researchYour thinkers come together and quickly resume their research.Meanwhile, your Smart Bomb and Thinker drones are starting to hatch.New total12 Smart Bombs24 Thinkers
You know what we could do?Harass the ones fixing the engines by shooting suppressive fire from the surrounding foliage. It doesn't matter shit that we won't hit them but we will stop them from their work and likely make them more stressed. The warriors should then immediately move as not to be killed by Lyle. Hit and run / guerrilla tactics. We could even send in free workers to build trenches and barricades in the surrounding forest to provide cover for the Warriors. This tactic will also make Lyle expend his ammo.If I'm not mistaken we have few warriors left si we should totally do this
>>32915145More like 100% researching thing, minus the one for managing our infrastructure. I do wish we'd have a couple set aside for worker management so we could pull one for combat duty.
>>32915106will ir speed up if we send more workers?
>>32915168If we set the Smart Bombs to assault and attack the ship's engines at night then they'll either1) Tear up the engines with their claws2) Get shot while one the engines/ship, further damaging them and delaying departure
>>32915199The real targets should be the personnel, not the engines.
Huh only 12 smart bombsWe should try to punch as many holes in to the ship as possible. Our objectives is to destroy any remains they have on board and any research that they done.So we just got to get into the ship as fast as possible.
>>32915160The day ends and you see the crew of the Angel retreat back into the ship. You wonder why they would leave themselves vulnerable when you notice the shape of Coil in the cockpit, no doubt monitoring the clearing with whatever sensors the ship may have. They know you are watching them, that much is clear, they just don't know from where.855N 363M"Finished finished!"Your research project has completed, all they needed was a bit of help from their brothers it seems. What will you have them research next?
>>32915236Why not ambush them when they come out of the ship in the morning to do repairs? Damaging the ship seems somewhat pointless.
>>32915222I like the Taidarens though.
>>32915268Medium is Conductive armor plating.>>32915245What did we get from researching large and small drones.
>>32915245Split between human dissection and ballistics.>>32915269Me too, Lyle's the biggest threat. With him out of the way, there's a reasonable chance of capturing/disabling the others. Wouldn't mind learning the squid language.
>>32915285>Split between human dissectionnah just give this 4 thinkers, diesections always take a day.
>>32915199by the time the bombs hatch, wouldn't the new warriors be ready too, making harassing tactics unnecessary?I only suggest that because I feel like they might fix their ships before we are ready to assault them again.
>>32915268While the armor plating is neat and all, it's not super relevant against the enemies we're currently facing.
>>32915293scratch that, I only now saw that they have hatched already.Yeah, we can bomb them if we feel they made a lot of progress on the engines.
>>32915261Cause we only have 12 and we don't know how powerful they be against the hull.We will only get one chance to do this so we need to hit them with everything at once,The plot demands it and the QD saying they are alert all the time so no point.
>>32915294Its the quickest tech, and should pop near the time humans does.
>>32915307There is no reason we have to throw all of them at them at once.
>>32915309>>32915294Plus laser proofing warriors sounds like a good idea.
>>32915112Dang, I kinda hoped that some other anons who love that shit would do that. Also, I'm not sure what the metal extraction -> refinery rate is. Iirc, we are being bottlenecked by our refineries and need to build more of them.We should build hangars and start producing ships already.

>>329153225 or 10 (I forget) diggers to 1 refiner is the going rate of exchange.
>>32915245Ballistics and Dissection. It's like 4 A.M. Where I'm at right now so good night and thanks for being an awesome QM.But before I go capturing the crew is a bad idea. Just kill them and dissect them to learn how their language for the speaker. That way we can play nice with others of that race that aren't looking to mount us on the wall of a scientist.
>>32915320We rolled horrible against this guy.We are gonna lose a couple just moving them into position. And the warriors are gonna be hatched soon.So we should just use the whole task force instead of just sending in one section.
>>32915361>So we should just use the whole task force instead of just sending in one section.I agree. No point in sending small groups. Lets just zerg rush them. We managed to take down Bob, we will manage to take down Lyle with just a bit more troops.
>>32915277>Large dronesThese massive hulking forms are not simply big drones, they are big land drones. Where once your drones were limited by the square cubed law, these new drones have new biological developments to reach sizes that were once impractical or impossible. This allows the use of much more powerful weapons and armor.>New AdaptationCarapace: Heavy Armor (5N 20M)Simple enough, instead of using fancy tricks to deflect or absorb damage in new ways, you simply put more armor on.>New weapon variantsThorn Cannon - A scaled up version of the Thorn launcher, it is a bigger weapon that fires a bigger projectile at a higher rate of speed. Difficult to aim and slow to fire, it is a long range weapon intended for indirect artillery fire, however it is capable of direct fire, and is devastating when you manage to hit with it.Rotary Stinger - A scaled up version of the Sting Caster, the Rotary spins several large barrels to increase rate of fire without causing overheating issues. Accuracy is poor, but when you are firing this many projectiles you are bound to hit something, and when it does hit it hits hard! >>32915407I agree with that too.

>>32915378>Small dronesFor what seems like since the dawn of time, your kind have been limited in the size of your drones to what you can fit the necessary organs into. With some ingenuity you have devised a way to create drones far smaller than anything previously to exist in your kind. These drones are small and fast, but are incredibly frail. While they could run underfoot unnoticed, they could be just as easily crushed underfoot.Small drones are unable to equip ranged weapons or advanced armor due to their size (>1 meter) but are capable of quickly moving, flying, or climbing their way into cramped spaces without anyone noticing. All right i did the worm drone and the two heavy hitter drones, no clue how to do the mud wasp though.

>>32915876The heavy hotter drones might seem like overkill, but sure.>>32915800So what would the upkeep be of the heavy drones?
>>32915882Not preventing it, being inside the ship when it happens so he has to deal with the tunnel business.Or maybe that's actually bad because that'd funnel our troops. Nevermind.
Finally here during an actual session! Mostly just been watching archives.Question, QuestDrone - is the hex map going to get updated anytime soon? The one I keep seeing in archives doesn't have the crashed ship, or mines, in-construction second hive or the Hel's Angle on it, and still shows the abandoned human camp...

Your new workers hatch as well.New TotalWorker: 75Warrior: 25Wasp: 18Your workers frantically tunnel under the Hel's Angel, but they are still not finished. You are unsure if the cavern is large enough to fully engulf the ship, but it is deep enough to try.As you watch over the last of your hatching drones you hear a deep mechanical roar"Holy dooly! She sounds happy as ever!""Fixing fixing!""Shards not aligned, need more fixing!""Fix more fix more!""Fix fix""Well get to it, she'll be apples at this rate!"The engines stop their humming and the two small creatures dive back into them.
He will not be in that dropsuit if he in the ship at least. And we can breach it faster to get troops inside. While our guys are good they will take a beating if this is out in the open. The faster we get in the ship and force them into melee we basically will win.

>>32916411i just noticed that today is my birthday.
>>32916102Your sniffer watches as Lyle moves to the engines with interest, and then whips around, weapons at the ready. The others freeze at the sight."Did you feel that?" He says, almost a whisper. "There it is again!" He turns to the cockpit of the ship. "Coil, you have a reading on-" Before he can finish the ground shakes and splits open with a sea of grasping claws and gnashing mandibles."What in the hell?" He yells, his suit being pulled into the mob of chitin. His flame thrower ignites directly downwards, torching the ground beneath him. You can hardly hear him as his weapons roar to life, tearing into the dirt to the sound of a string of profanities your thinkers are incapable of translating. Wings sprout from the ground and the swarm reaches up for the underbelly of the Hel's Angel as your drones tear into the open panels and bare circuits. Lyle swings his weapons upwards, slicing them off the hull with a hail of bullets and sending their acidic innards spewing across the ship. Immediately the armor plating begins to ooze down the side of the ship and wires slowly turn to puddles within the conduits. Heuy and Dewy are quick to vanish in the maze of vents and shafts, but Lyle keeps his gaze locked on the sizzling hull plating, his face shaking with rage. "You fuckin want stains!" He turns to run to the ship, but is immediately pulled back by the weight of more drones, each wounded and bleeding. He quickly pulls one off of his shoulder and tears it in half, only to have it burst open. The others burst under the pressure of their glands, spewing the caustic acid across the area.Lyle lets out a scream as his helmet slowly dissolves inwards onto his face, and he quickly tears what is left of the liquefied scrap away and throws it to the ground. His face is bloody and burnt from the chemicals, the holes in his cheek revealing the metal reinforcing beneath.Cont.

>>32916562i believe we did send the speaker and i agree
>>32916431Your warriors move in, having waited to avoid damage from the first wave's acid and let loose a hail of fire as they charge towards the ship. Lyle turns to face the stampede and lets out a deep, thunderous roar that nearly drowns out the sound of your charge, and enters a dead sprint into your warriors. The impact alone crushes the carapace of one of your warriors, and as it moves to bock the next Lyle brings his unarmored forehead into the face of another drone, snapping the chitin on the head. Three blades find their way into the weakened armor plating and emerge stained red, but Lyle doesn't seem to notice. He brings his plated fist into another drone, fracturing the armor and sending the drone reeling backwards only to be replaced by the advance of two more. He jerks to the side as a blade cleanly slides along his skull, peeling his left ear from his head and he quickly punches the arm, snapping it at the joint.Another stab, and another slice and four more claws find marks in the creases of the armor, tearing off servos and staining the wires crimson. He continues to swing his fists, streams of bullets and flame going in all directions and your wasps move in, diving from above. They pick at any exposed location. A missing shoulder plate, the forearm, and slicing at the head as they fly by in all directions. As the mounting pile of drones grows Lyle disappears completely under the shifting mass and you note from your sniffer's perspective that the cockpit is empty.Cont.>>32916422Happy birthday!

>>32916638I think this dude's right, we should storm the ship now, kill or capture the Ceph, and take the drive hopefully intact.
We hould have our speaker repeat this."Now, I'm gonna go take a piss, and then I'm gonna think on all the things I can buy with thirty thousand creds. Now for givin me such a fun ol' time, I'll let bygones be bygones, but if I see ya start making somthin personal outa this, I'll have to get serious." He leans in close. "Hear that, ye' majesty?" With a quick jerk of motion and a loud crunch your drone's head splits open and the wasp's senses become blank.
Shoulda just sent droves of suicide bombers.
>>32916677nah, we want to research the stuff.
>>32916674Yep. We certainly should.
>>32916659>It just shows, how hard this fight would have been, i think we would have lost 6/8 of our warriors and 3/4 of our wasp.Inverse Ninja law? I hate when that shit happens. Even if we had rolled badly, we shouldn't lose that much of our troops. Our warrior drones are powerful. Lyle maybe be strong but taking on 10+ powerful opponents at once should quickly take him down. He is just one man, no matter how augmented he is.
>>32916703He had a drop suit, made for battle, and this proves right now that he can take on a whole lot of insects with out the suit. Also the suit had a Gatling and flame thrower.those two weapons would have torn through our units, until either he ran out of ammo or we damaged them, and then there was the armour that should have protected him against most attacks.
>>32916703Eh. Our warrior drones are strong but they're designed to die in droves. That's what our race's combat has been like forever.Lyle, on the other hand, has been focused on making himself more survivable his entire life. I suspect that we would've lost fewer troops if we'd rolled high on an attack (that didn't affect his ship) because he would've had a good fight, realized he was outmatched, and made a deal like he does with the Unity.I suspect this 100 (and our damaging his ship) have actually allowed us to kill him though. He's just gone berserk while we try to do it.
>>32916703He's more of a heavily armed and armored murderbot with an augmented human core.
>>32916703Lyle did heavy damage to us before he even got into the power armor. We're fortunate our bombs managed to weaken him before we sent in the warriors - prepared and uninjured, he might have crushed us on anything less than the 100 we got.
The clarke drive would taken out everything within the ContinentLets not see what the squid will do to us shall we
>>32916762I'm actually betting that it's probably capable of in gravity well jumps, and that's how he gets out of the shittiest situations alive.

>>32916762QuestDrone wouldn't do that to uss after a 100. Probably.I suppose we could have tried that assasination to take him out in the cockpit earlier though.

>>32916579Your workers announce the completion of your throne room with the last piece of stone chiseled away. The crimson water of your spring cascades down around your grand throne like a hall of curtains, flowing into a river around the rim of the chamber. An entourage of workers hoists you into the air, carrying you and your precious egg sack through the halls with reverence. With a loud bang a number of rockets let loose from within the mass of drones sending limbs and chunks of chitin arcing across the clearing. They swerve in the air before coming back down dangerously close to where they came from. The gaps in the horde close back around the human before he can raise his weapons, and with a swift slice he lands on one knee.Your workers hoist you into your throne. The magnificent sculpture of chitin and stone wraps around your form like an extension of your body. It reaches from the ground to the ceiling, its crystalline design glancing the ambient glow across your form and the red water around you like an aura signifying your royalty."Coil, where are those damn turrets? Coil!" Lyle says between heavy gasps for breath. He clenches his teeth and lets out the growl of a wounded animal. "Burn in hell ya boneless bastard!" and he swings his fist at your warriors. It misses, deflected by a well placed claw and is immediately punctured by several blades. Your warriors twist their claws, forcing him downward into a kneel. With his right hand he pulls out a small device, but before he can press the button on it his hand is impaled and pinned to his thigh. He falls back under the wight of his suit as the last servo gives out, and with a gasp he coughs up a thick glob of blood."It-it was a good fight..."You bring down a blade into him, slicing cleanly into the chest, and he smiles.

>>32916973Heal him, keep them all alive as prisoners.
>>32916973>>keep the crew alive, and leave Lyle to his fate
>>32916973>>Try to use the vat to heal Lyle and take him prisoner
>>32916973>Try to use the vat to heal Lyle, and take him prisonerI'd really hate to see such an interesting NPC go.
Let Lyle die and keep crew alive.
>All these votesAlright guys, thats enough of this. He is probably only going to count the first 5 mins anyway. This is getting shameful.
>>32916973Heal him with the Taidarens assisting, meanwhile task the thinkers all to deciphering the Ceph language.
>>32916973Should have made this a 2 stage vote. First poll for heal Lyle or not and then afterwards ask what we do with the crew.As it stands now, it splits things up in an awkward way and sets things up for butthurt.
>>32916973It looks like the vat wins.Your speaker walks into the hangar, flanked by your warriors, and assumes a posture mocking the stance of the first human leader's stiff stance."Your medical technology. How is it used?"
>>32917054I think healing Lyle also means keeping the crew alive
>>32917055God damn it.
Now I know how the shadowruns feel when we helped the humans. Fine, but if he's staying alive I want nothing less than shocktroopers watching over the regen tank and the entire room rigged to blow on the off chance that he escapes.
>>32917055I'm trying to imagine a four legged mantis shrimp that's a whopping 5 feet tall mocking an imposing super-augmented death dealing Aussie.
>>32917062He doesn't need arms and legs to survive, does he? We could amputate him just in case.
>>32917055I am slightly upset. Please only count the first 5 mins of that vote, the fake voting was pretty blatant.
>>3291705511 for heal Lyle12 for Kill LyleMore people wanted Lyle dead, but heal won because the vote was split between kill all and just kill Lyle.
>>32917062This. Can we keep him alive but just barely? Like, as in, amputate unneeded or dangerous stuff?>>32917070This guy gets it!
>>32917067I'm sure the irony factors into it.>>32917070He's australian, you can never be too sure.
>>32917072I voted only once and at the very end of the vote, I'd be a little upset if my vote didn't get counted.
That last vote was bloody shameful. I'm going to sleep at last an hope this cleans up when I wake up.
>>32917072It was only just barely over 5 minutes when he concluded it.Things happen, just deal. It's better to take this than have retcons be a thing in this quest.
So for the guys asking for the 5 minute vote thing, you do know that all the votes are in the 5 minute window and that a kill vote gets cut off.
So how about we start like this.Normally, i would dissect it after killing you, but after that little comment about your majesty, i would like to know if a scientist sent you,
>>32917107Honestly I didn't check, it just felt like the votes went on for a good 15 mins.Whatever, maybe he will die anyway. At least we have the ship in working condition.
>>32917118>>32917101I suppose if we need to we can probably re-attach them using his medical equipment.
>kill some of his crew, scratch his ship, kill him, cut of his legs and arms, revive himWelp. I wonder if its possible to make something more personal...
>>32917129Fuck noif we must we will keep him as an advisor but no way in hell is he allowed to go mobile
>>32917129Offer him some 'upgrades'
>>32917141We're going to be real smug talking to his amputee self too. Does that make it more personal? We're almost as petty as Fallout 3 people who let pompadour bully's mom die because he was mean to them as children.
And these idiots are not even coming close to hive or the queen or any thinkers
>>32917146Ohhh nononono. We are not going the Kerrigan route. You know what she did? She hijacked the Zergs! No way our bugs are going to let them be hijacked by an augmented Aussie merc which we never asked for!
And the AI must never meet them either
>>32917150If we have to contain him then somewhere away from our research-scavenging outpost and away from our main hive would be ideal.Like really deep underground.
>>32917165We've got a cavern right underneath him. It'd be trivial to expand it. Not like he'd likely be able to get the ship running before we came to murder him if he ever escapes. We're still going to put the ship down there so no one that comes looking can find it so easily.>>32917161After we study all his augments and ship I consider him free game as a bargaining chip with the AI.
Maybe it's because the sunlight has been comming through my window for a good while now, or maybe it's because I'm an idiot, but could someone tell me why we are keeping him alive? To use him as a mercenary? To taunt him?
>>32917182Because people are foolish fools that get attached to breaky things too easily.
>>32917182To taunt him, to find his employer, to interrogate him generally, possibly to employ him.
>>32917149If we gave this guy a pistol he would wipe out 20 drones in heartbeatHe screwed over the ai 3 times and frak knows how many different factionsSo noWe will treat him as he earned
>>32917182Merc. Scout. Intelligence on current affairs in space. Whatever comes up.
>>32917182employ him, generally
>>32917182So long as we don't make the same mistake as we did with the humans, which was to trust them to have the same interests as ours, we could handle this without fucking it up.Besides, he can't escape without any limbs.
>>32917194>>32917187Anything but employ him.
>>32917187>>32917189>>32917194Sounds pretty vague, but it's whatever at this point. But why let him remain a free agent? We should be able to mess with his brain. Maybe 'infect' him.
Now that we have dealt with this event, what do about the unity drone?Should we help it and assist in what it asked before?I'd really like to make it stable so that it can help us with research projects. It's not like we can get more out of Clarke ship anyway but raw metal
And yeah lets move the ship too
>>32917182If it's me calling the shots, I'd keep his head for our third trophy. Or was it fifth? In any case we're keeping him alive for the moment and we're amputating him too. So we can dig out every shred of information in his brain. And then we take the head off life support and place it on top of the mantelpiece. A fitting place for one so tenacious.
>>32917200>>32917202Really he's most useful as a bargaining chip. The AI will be clamoring for him and his ship, as will the Union if they ever come back.
>>32917202We should hopefully be able to make a human interface with the help of the dissected bodies. Maybe then we can get a mind control drone.
>>32917200Why? Theressus or what's his name told us that he is very reliable. Torturing wont work on him and he never gives away his employers. While we may not have any missions for him right now, we can call him up in the future.Perhaps make a clause that he wont take any jobs against us.
>>32917204Dude its already stableWe just really dont trust it right now
>>32917055The crew appears confused, but the two Taidani quickly nod and show you the way to the medical bay. It is a small, cramped room with several tanks nearly identical to the ones on the clarke. Your warriors bring in Lyle and as you strip away what remains of his drop suit you make note of the deep gashes along his skin."He is more useful alive, for now. Can you fix him?"The twins quickly nod and prepare the tank. The ships computer performs a scan and and makes a diagnosis. Nearly every bone is broken, multiple implant failures, and a collapsed lung. You note several settings that spear to control what is and is not healed. Many of the implants operate off of the body's own functions, and should you choose you could shut them down. You quickly set the medical tank to ignore the implant damage."warning, current setting may result in motor control failure."Better to be safe, you think. The tank displays an estimated time, six days to recovery.
>>32917210I'd prefer we keep the ship and its drive as our advantage. Giving the union the Ceph drive in any way shape or form is a flat out bad idea.
>>32917216He have a lot more biological means at our disposal then standard torture. We can turn him.
>>32917204I'd be fine with assisting it, provided we check the terminals we spread it to first. We never did develop that engineer drone, did we?
>>32917218Cut his arms and legs.
>>32917226Well of course we'd only hand out whatever bits and pieces suit our fancy.
>>32917218Keep one of the twins here and move the other and the squid to the prison as far the fuck away from here
>>32917236I would've preferred to keep him operating healthily and just cut off the limbs too...but this works I guess.
>>32917228Why do people keep pushing this shit? We don't have any means to "infect" people. Our race has literally just met these kind of alien species, before this we couldn't even fathom the idea of beings like this existing. We need a pool of live humans to experiment before we can develop this technology.Just because you say "lets invent mindcontrol" doesn't mean we will be able to pull that out of our own ass
>>32917245Alright now that's just mean. If you're gonna do that to a man it's better off to kill him. Even most Eunuchs get to keep their dicks.
>>32917245Whoa. Too far.
Oh and we should keep him isolated for a couple months before talking to him
>>32917250It's far better to develop a kind of information sucking drone/Thinker augmentation. We suck all his memories, then kill him.And put his head on the trophy rack.
>>32917250It's most likely just one or two people. The one you're quoting has a point though, we're more likely to be able to turn him than the AI.
>>32917218Now that Lyle has been stowed away you will need to decide how to deal with your other guests.>Create a holding cell nearby, away from both of your hives>Create a holding cell in your main hive>Create a holding cell in the Clarke outpost>Other

>>32917270>Create a holding cell nearby, underground.
>>32917250Didn't say anything about infecting, though I'd support it. We are looking into spore warefare after all.
>>32917270And no tunnels connecting it
>>32917270Realize that a scientist and two creatures made to fit through tight spaces and be generally handy to help scientists are not a good thing to keep around and kill them.I mean put them underground in the outpost.
>>32917291There can be tunnels connecting it if that speeds travel for us. Not like he'd ever be able to get into the Throne Room.
>>32917303Anywhere they might try to hide will have gooey flesh with nerves, they can't hide.If they go on the surface they'll die so that doesn't work either.
>>32917303Well, damn. How the hell are we making this cells exactly? The Ceph can fit into a six inch tube and if it shares any other squid physics related to that the only way to keep it under wraps would be to put in a jar it can't break. Also, I'd second killing the twins.
>>32917309HAHANoJust noIf they break outI want them to travel thur the deathworldWe make a special hiveCause there gonna be more prisoners in the future in guessing
>>32917323No way, they're cute as dirt. They'll also help us with analyzing all this technology, being extremely accomplished technicians as they are.
>>32917332We could dissect them and learn how to make our own drones be extremely accomplished technicians.
>>32917323>>32917319Anon does have a point about feeling flesh. We don't know the capabilities of the fleshy infrastructure though.>>32917332Why on earth would they help us? At gunpoint? Scientists working at gunpoint are worse then having no help at all. See ironman.
>>32917303What makes you think the Ceph is a scientist?
>>32917350Guess it was the labcoat from earlier.
>>32917270>Create a holding cell nearby, away from your two hives. You dispatch your workers to start construction deep beneath the jungle. An isolated place to minimize the risk to your hive. In the meantime you place them into the ship's small brig. While you don't trust their own ship to hold them in the long term, a pair of warriors staring them down on the far side of the doors should keep them in check until they can be moved. Coil is still flashing bright yellows and greens across his skin, and without the devices of his artificial shell his body is slumped onto the floor in a heap of boneless flesh. Huey and Dewy have never been so silent, and they spend most of their time in the corner of their cell. You contemplate a fool proof method of holding them, and as your thinkers finish their dissection of the dead humans mercenaries you have them contemplate the issue.>>32917279It appears the rest are dead.
>>32917350He has to be smart enough to have rigged one of his races drives to a non-native ship.Perhaps engineer would be more fitting. Though that makes him more dangerous than a scientist.
>>32917348Well the chance of being alive and getting off the planet is better than certain death. We spared Lyle, maybe we'll spare them. If we begin with having them finish up fixing the engines then they'll be even more hopeful.
>>32917363I want their adaptations. Not their hope.
>>32917355Try to communicate with Coil. He might be in some distress.
>>32917355>Coil is still flashing bright yellows and greens across his skin, and without the devices of his artificial shell his body is slumped onto the floor in a heap of boneless flesh.Hey, maybe the artificial body is also its life support? It wont die if we keep it like this, will it?Should we ask the unity drone or dig info from the database we have?
>>32917355Depending on the strength of our natural spit-concrete we could always just make a mesh wall with 2in. mesh-holes that can be raised up when necessary. Actually, since we use metals in construction that can definitely be done.
>>32917378>>32917383I second some form of communication with the tentacled being.
>>32917383no as little info as possible
>>32917363>If we begin with having them finish up fixing the enginesYou lost me. I'm still thinking we should kill them, any usefulness they can give us we can get on our own with the thinkers, without wasting OP posts everythread and upkeep making sure they don't escape with an intact spaceship. Maybe that reasoning works for some others though, but not me.
>>32917383We definitely should.>>32917370I want their adaptations and, for a time, their expertise. No need to be hasty in killing them, we find ourselves with all the time in the world once more.
>>32917355>ask Theseus about the prisoners/ask if he knows how to communicate with squid people
>>32917378or ask the Huey and Duey, they might know something even if they come across like 2 imbeciles

>>32917385That's a pretty good idea thinker 5, good job.>>32917393>we find ourselves with all the time in the world once more. The Dr. will eventually know his expedition failed. He'll either send more, or pull something else to get what he wants. We're actually on the clock.
>>32917409Yes, but by the time he realizes it's failed and pulls the necessary strings (assuming these weren't the final strings he had to pull, he was disgraced remember?) to get something else headed this way we'll be large enough that he'd need a full battlefleet and army to do anything.
>>32917395ask the ducks and prepare for next batch of raiders
>>32917407I like this arc. It'd get pretty damn boring/lonely on this planet if every day was just "Improve the farms. Build the hangar. Expand the hives to encompass that neat thing." etc.
>>32917355As your thinkers move to their next brief task you look through the new discoveries made in human biology. Their bodies are a sensitive mixture of electrical and chemical balances that appear to be easily disrupted, although it is clear they have developed all manner of technology to make up for this. You take note of major organs and structural weaknesses for any future engagements. The human body is a frail thing, but their strength lies in their technology. Still, with your advanced laboratory you are able to develop theories on all manner of chemical compounds to alter human behavior in various ways. For now they are just theories, but with a live captive making them fact should be well within the realm of possibility.Your thinkers claim they have finished their design of a holding cell. A series of tightly woven netting and metal meshes should prevent the Ceph from slipping through, and the bony body of the two twins should make any cell for a Ceph more than sufficient.Speaking of the Ceph, you have grown curious as to their language.>Have your thinkers study it>Scrounge the data banks of the ship to see if a translation exists>Ask Theseus if he knows anything of Ceph linguistics.>Other

>>32917499You find several small programs that seem designed for translation. Your thinkers quickly study them and while the translation is poor and clunky, it is passable. As you translate the rapid color shifts of the alien you realize that it is less of a statement and more of an autonomic response. In a similar manner as a human's startled shout, but with extended duration and almost paralytic in nature.Coil appears to literally be scared stiff. You could attempt to communicate, although until he calms down you doubt he is capable of much rational conversation.

Need to start researching a thinker like this:http://starshiptroopers.wikia.com/wiki/Brain_Bug
>>32917558You have many things to do today, but attempting communication with an alien race seems like an important one. Your speaker arrives at Coil's cell and taps against the clear cell door."You will not be harmed." Coil jerks at the sudden voice. "Why have you come here? Why did you ignore the warning?"You are not sure if the translation program is functional at first. The first statement is somewhat garbled. "Head knows, limbs flee."You repeat the question. "Why did you ignore the warning?""Shell owed, head obeyed, limbs follow." The flashing of yellow and green fade into a subtle pulse as the more reasoned statements strobe along the creatures strange face. "Human lead. Head not ask, limbs not care." You note the lack of variety in the language. Only a handful of terms seem to be used for any one concept. The program translates it into English automatically, and you are unsure if the awkwardness is due to poor programming, poor language compatibility, or if Coil simply doesn't have a way with words.
>>32917683Weres his suit?
>>32917683Welp. You're useless!SASHIMI TIME.
>>32917683So I'm guessing that his weird talking about the limbs and the head and whatnot is about how octopi have decentralized nervous systems and each arm is like a pseudo-brain thing.

It would not have fit into the pipe he had crawled into to hide, and was likely discarded to try to avoid detection. It appears to be used more for mobility than combat, as it covers very little of the body. He could be referring to an analogy? Some failing in the translator to catch the nuance of the phrase, perhaps? In any case, the "head of the shell" is what you want apparently. do people not get that its the components that allow the shell to remember?
>>32917939>Return the harness, but remove all components except the metal shell.Coil has yet to move, his tentacles lightly plopping against the floor as your drone enters with the shell. As your drone places the shell on his head a short flash of red pulses over its body. The translator indicates it is a sign of pain.Several lights flicker in the room and you hear the low hum of conduits powering up."Local firewalls offline. Local pass code removed."Coil quickly strobes a bright mixture of orange and pink, which seems to translate to both "surrender" and "cooperate". While it's nice to know, you find it odd the language uses the same term for both concepts. A sign of the society, you suppose. A moment later the loudspeakers come on with a hiss of static."I am only the pilot. I run software and navigation." Even when run through the ship's computer the synthesized voice seems to carry Coil's panic. "I wish to not die. I will help."

"We were given access codes to disable it's monitoring. We get them all the time for new races. The monitor satellite is linked to the Union, destroy it and they know. We set it to keep transmitting, but not monitor.""Why would it monitor?"Coil pauses for a moment, perhaps to take in the irony. "To prevent dangerous development.""And it is dormant now?""Yes."

>>32918191>>32918170Figure it's the best way to make up for the following week's hiatus.>>32918183Technically you don't know for sure.>>32918174"What are these codes?""They are in the computer. They make the monitor think we are maintenance workers.""How long will it remain dormant?""Until it receives an update request. Usually a few weeks. We are usually long gone by now.""When did you shut it down?""When we first arrived. We turned off the warning broadcast and the monitor"
>>32918212>Ask them when they cut the feed.so that they could come to the world and get the samples? Isn't it obvious? They were probably going to turn it on again when they left.>>32918174Ask Coil about its biology. Why does it need artificial suit to access half of its mental capacities? Seems weird, how did their species evolve?
>>32918243>so that they could come to the world and get the samples? Isn't it obvious? They were probably going to turn it on again when they left.i said WHEN, did they cut it off.
>>32918242Given the abnormally thick atmosphere of this place, would it be able to visually detect anomalies or is it just radios and standard electromagnetic frequencies?
>>32918242>"When we first arrived.when did they first arrive.
So yeah, fuck humans. Holy shit this level of imperialism is worse than the royal crown.Only Lee will be spared.
>>32918242"Why do you need this device? What does it do?""It controls the ship and centralizes the nervous system. Please let me keep it."If it is used to control the ship you are unsure how wise it would be to leave Coil with it, although he has proven helpful as far as you are aware. At any rate, you feel you have the answers you wanted. Perhaps study of the ship's FTL comm will lead to more clues surrounding this "broker".>Let Coil keep the shell.>Take the shell, you can give it back if you need to ask more questions.
>>32918305It's ironic that the current human government was originally from colonial rebels. So this is somehow a jab at American imperialism.>>32918318Can we move somewhere where he cant get any signals out, like underground? If not then>Take the shell, you can give it back if you need to ask more questions.
>>32918318>Take the shell, you can give it back if you need to ask more questions.
>>32918318>>Let Coil keep the shell.we need to recover the codes from the ship then
So were they able to see us discover the ship, and hide it?I think thats the only note worthy thing we did out in the wild?
>>32918318Can we make some of the designed units?
>>32918318>Let Coil keep the shell.
>>32918343I doubt they found the Clarke, otherwise, they wouldn't let such sensitive technology be touched by the natives. I think we're safe, we may have to watch our emissions from now on though.
>>32918318I WANT to vote to move the Ceph out of the ship and maybe near a hive, where it can keep the shell but likely not do much with the ship, but I'm worried that if Lyle escapes, he'll go for the hive to rescue it.
>>32918318>Let Coil keep the shell. Our thinkers could talk to him and maybe they can work out how the human tech works faster.
>>32918357the monitoring beacon has been turned off. Can't we just keep turning it off with the codes?>>32918174ask him if we can keep turning of the monitoring with the Union none the wiser
>>32918379didn't we build holding cells for the prisoners away from the ships and the hive?
>>32918379second, lets move him.
>>32918379Well that's good, because that means we can set up an ambush for him with our Elite Acidbutts. It also means that we may perhaps be able to study a living Ceph.
>>32918398I'd rather not keep them near each other
So can we dissect the twins now?
>>32918318"Can you shut it down again?""Maybe. It would be suspicious."You decide he would be more useful with the shell, although you wonder why a race would evolve to need such a device in the first place."You will soon be moved to another location. If you attempt to alter the ship's systems without permission you will be killed.""Yes. Thank you." Coil responds, a light foam bubbling from a small breathing hole on his head.He certainly isn't a brave one.Meanwhile your workers have completed their project, and are ready to take on new tasks.>Start New construction: Hangar facilities – the much needed landing and storage facilities for air and space craft. Has room for twenty aerodynamic drones and landing space for ten shuttles. Includes space and tools for service and repair.>Boost current construction: Farm expansion>Salvage the Hal's Angel>Salvage the Clarke>Other
>>32918439you people are being way too paranoid. Only Lyle is dangerous, we should have at least 6 warriors guarding him.The other prisoners literally cannot do anything if they escape. At best they could try to get to Hel's Angle and try to escape but how would they succeed in that with the broken engines and a sizable garrison guarding it?
>>32918482>>Salvage the Hal's Angel>>Salvage the Clarke>>Otherbuild workers/thinkers/new units.
>>32918482>>Start New construction: Hangar facilities – the much needed landing and storage facilities for air and space craft. Has room for twenty aerodynamic drones and landing space for ten shuttles. Includes space and tools for service and repair.thisAlso, we have a ton nutrients and metal. Lets expand metal gathering and nutrients. Lay more thinkers and workers. Also more warriors.I can't into proper math, it would be better if OP took care of that micromanagments. Especially concerning optimization the economy like metal extraction
>>32918482Is it possible to drag the Hal's Angel into the hanger once we build it?If so, make the hangers and keep the ship.
>>32918482Salvage the Angel's engines. Prioritize making it unable to fly, ever, while researching the parts that still work.>>32918490>Only Lyle is dangerousexactly, but he NEEDS the other dudes, at least enough to try and rescue them. Keeping them separate keeps him on the planet in the event of escape.
>>32918521Yes, it's a bit larger than a shuttle. It would take up two landing spaces but it would fit just fine.
>>32918482>You decide he would be more useful with the shell, although you wonder why a race would evolve to need such a device in the first place.Wait.>you wonder why a race would evolve to need such a device in the first place.Wait a fucking second.Weren't the Ceph helped by the Union or something?Aww shitballs fucknuts. This is really really bad. I don't have the amount of sleep required to properly elucidate just how bad this is.
>>32918537Yeah, the Union is a bunch of humans who've enslaved alien races and can't take no for an answer so then bam Unity formed from AI they wanted dead. Wasn't all that obvious?Or did the subservience of the aliens to their commander not strike you as a tad odd? Well, could be a coincidence. Heheheh.
>>32918537According to Lee, and Union archives the Ceph government kills citizens who are born without the ability to change skin tone, essentially mutes. Lee claimed that the Union has offered asylum to refugees seeking to escape persecution. That's all you know for sure on the subject at the moment.
>>32918537>>32918565I wonder if the other human government is just as bad or worse, given that they are a military junta.
>>32918565Aww Lee why?
>>32918580Because Lee is just a guy trying to make a living in the Union? He doesn't know everything.
I read this in an HFY thread once. I know how it ends.
So. Ant tunnels and underground constructions will certainly help keep our activities concealed from overbearing overlords. Just a thought.
>>32918570Who knows?Well, Lyle could know. He was a shock trooper in their military, although according to the Unity he was dishonorably discharged due to mental instability, and has spent time on the Helviti Penal colony, so he probably isn't a very good representation of the average Commonwealth citizen.>>32918537Out of curiosity, what is your theory? I'm sleep deprived too and my critical thinking is in the toilet right now.>>32918603Which one? I don't read them that often.>>32918482It looks like>Hangar facilitieswith a heavy emphasis on disabling the Hel's Angel's engines.
>>32918661Can we build new units as well?
>>32918661I'm too sleep deprived to spell out my theory, but it very heavily regards some info that we may have to get from Lyle. I'm going to bed QD, good night and good luck.
>>32918603>>32918661Not that anon, but I remember one about a princess of an insectoid race being helped by a human doctor. She gets implants that improves her senses and she later uses those improved senses to maneuver her way to the top of her species' government and helps avert war with the humans.
>>32918661Your drones start construction on the hangar facilities, while you send your warriors outside of the Angel to remove the engines. You are sure to have some of your thinkers direct the efforts to try to prevent any dangerous events from damage, but you can't have anyone trying to fly away with your new ship.Roll 1d100, best of 3>>32918683Sure>>32918685You too>>32918696Sounds neat.
Rolled 86>>32918739Double our workers and thinkers, how much would that cost? Also add 2 worm drones, 1 artillery drone,1 gatling drone.
>>32918739here are the estimated cost of the drones,>>32915669>>32915816>>32915758
>>32918696You wouldn't happen to have the story at hand, would you?
>>32918757Thanks for the save anon
>>32918739Your warriors make good work of removing the engines. They tear at the gimbals of the engines and without much trouble they fall from the hull of the ship. You can have them taken to the hive momentarily.
>>32918828I think that will have to be it. I'll need to start packing, and it looks like almost everyone has gone to bed.
>>32918852get some sleep OP. Questing-related symptoms start appearing at the 8 hour mark, and you've long exceeded that.
>>32918852>>32918828Any word about unit making?Or that reserved for next thread?
>>32918852Thanks for the threads QD, have fun out there and be safe. We'll be waiting for your return.
>>32918852Thanks for the ridiculous 16-hour run.
>>32918868I probably won't remember them, but feel free to design them. Finalization would be next thread though.
>>32918852Well thanks for the extra long session QM, hope you have a fun trip.
>>32918899http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Hive%20Queen%20QuestGot both threads.
>>32918914Will try to work on that over vacation, actually, will update on twitter if I manage it.
>>32918907many thanks OP for the super session. Hope you have fun
>>32918927Thanks QD, I don't even know how long this went on. All I know is my eyes hurt, the thinking is slow, you're a monster, and the thread was great.
