It was very well-received, but if you believe the response to it now you'd think people were up in arms about it when it was posted, which suggests a lot of samefaggotry, trolling, and/or intentional stupidity just to avoid having to make exceptions to the "all homebrew sucks" argument.
I found the campaign to be well-designed and thoroughly entertaining. The art, which was provided by both the GM and his players, certainly is a bit lacking, but I think people are a bit too harsh on it. After all, these people aren't professional artists illustrating some worldbook. It's just a bunch of guys drawing what's basically fanart for the campaign in between sessions. And for that, I think a lot of it is actually pretty impressive.
I'd be damn impressed if any of my players were interested enough in the campaigns I ran to draw for them. |
