PREVIOUS EPISODES: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Ghost+BustersLAST EPISODE: Kayako of The Grudge, Second Avatar of Oiwa, has been captured. - - -It's been two days and things are back up and running like normal.Sachiko is studying old scrolls and rituals to figure out how Kayako's mother did that Anti-PKE ritual.Kayako is safely within the Containment Grid, which is still holding securely.PAGAN has crawled back to the internet and their own club meetings, telling each other about how horrible you are to innocent members of the Living-Impared community.P-COC has fined you for property damage, which you ignore, like all the other fines.Kali and her 'Grandpa', and Rini's clan are enjoying a quiet life in the Reject Zone. Keeping their heads down. It's actually a little strange in the RZ, word has drifted out about Kali, Rini, and their...'conditions.' It's more of a rumor than anything else. However, people aren't freaking out. After all, if they're okay with the Ghostbusters, then they can't be bad. Right?"First time in ages I've been able to drop the glamour thrall." Rini says as she lounges at the table. She and Kali, are apparently friends now, and have 'joined' you for dinner. (They already ate.) "It's such a relief, you have no idea.""Yeah, Rabbit and I were talking about that. You know that abandoned hotel-condo-office monstrosity at the edge of the zone? It went out of business when the bubble burst." Kali says."Yeah." Sato says. "Sachiko told me that she's been trying to lobby to get rid of it forever, it's a death trap, but no one wants to spend the time or money to implode it.""Maybe there's a better use for it." Rini says. "I know plenty of yokai that would love a decent apartment. I get the family to clean up the place, we buy it cheap, and have a lot of fresh faces move in. They'd all pay rent, too."Akira groans and just rests his head on the table with a thump.
>>32594382"Ignore him." Star says. "You think you can do it?"Kali shrugs. "Maybe, I've got money stashed away, compound interest is so sweet when you're immortal." She grins."And we'd make sure that anyone who comes in gets a pass for you guys and the priestess." Rini says. "This thing doesn't work without you five.""It's weird how much humans trust you four and Faithless." Kali says."We don't have to say yes tonight, do we?" You say.Rini shrugs. "Just keep it as a thought. There's a lot of horse Kali and I would have to put before the cart. Property purchases, repairs, talking to communities, P-COC will probably have to be notified...and it's not like we're gonna be dumb enough to house a tanuki next to a kitsune." She laughs. "We'll get back to you.""Our neighborhood is going to turn into spook central." Akira groans. "And it's our fault.""It's be good for business." Sato says.Akira flips him off and pushes his head off the table. "Okay, so...my nightmare come to life aside...what's the plan for tomorrow? Apart from our usual appointments?"> We're doing that job for Rini's Rokurokubi friend. We could REALLY use the money.> We could check in with P-COC to help with the 'Haunted Hotel' idea. Renovating the Reject Zone to a Sanctuary sounds like a good idea.> Sana's audition is tomorrow, there's something really creepy about it, I want to check it out.> There's one more Avatar of Oiwa left to take out, let's ride our victory and get the brat before she goes crying to Big Sister Oiwa.> Other
>>32594388>Sana's audition is tomorrow, there's something really creepy about it, I want to check it out.The others we could do later. This one is time dependent. Also, could we get a text to speech program for Yurei? Her grudge implied she has some "unvoiced" complaints.
>>32594388>> Sana's audition is tomorrow, there's something really creepy about it, I want to check it out.>> OtherTake Star aside, tell her what the Grudge said and then give her a hug and tell her that we don't think she's a whore.
Why didn't Sachiko have a grudge?
>>32594616I assume it has something to do with the fact she's a Priestess. So something something, Kayako's Mother, something something repressed, something something no grudge.
>>32594388>Sana's audition is tomorrow, there's something really creepy about it, I want to check it out.Actually, I remember there was an episode of GeGeGe no Kitaro that had a yokai apartment building. Would have worked out well, if the yokai would have not, you know, bothered their human neighbors. You don't barge into a person's bath while they're bathing without knocking!
>>32594498So put a text to speech program on the Chyme? Sounds good.>>32594556Nah she's a big girl.Though we should talk about Sana's very abnormal Grudge.
>>32594382Hey, OP. I just discovered this a while ago when checking out the archives, and I quite liked what I saw.I was considering turning this into an e-book, but I found the combat stuff got a little too "one line describing whether a hit made contact or not.Was this something that only happened in the earlier threads, or does combat still have that sort of rhythm?
>>32594388>Sana's audition is tomorrow and there's something really creepy about it, I want to check it out. It's like she's the part of a sacrifice in a ritual, real bad hoodoo. We gotta check it out and kick ass if needed.
>>32594498>Also, could we get a text to speech program for Yurei?Sadly, the company that made the Chyme player went out of business a while back. You're half sure that the only reason the Chyme works, is because of Yurei. It might not be a good idea to monkey with her physical anchor to this plane of reality.>>32594904>does combat still have that sort of rhythm?Sadly yes. If you compile it, and leave gaps where the combat is, I could put in something there at a later date that's a bit more narrative, but for the sake of the rp, I do combat quick and dirty.
>>32595081No problem! I appreciate the flow of it-thread, TBH, but it's just not the best format for ebooks.Do you have a Twitter or some other means of non-Board communication?
>>32595081But Yurei could possess a laptop with, say, a Miku Hatsune program and talk that way, right?>It might not be a good idea to monkey with her physical anchor to this plane of reality. That kinda sounds like Yurei was lying about her reasons for staying with us.
Oh dammit, I'm always late to this.>>32594498>>32595081It was a novel feeling seeing her speak for the first time. last thread. even if it was her double. That said, it wouldn't be a stretch to have her posses some other machine with text-to speech technology.>>32594388> Sana's audition is tomorrow, there's something really creepy about it, I want to check it out.
"There's some weird stuff going on with Sana's audition." You say. "I'd like to check it out.""Like what?" Sato says, chewing on his rubbery ramen noodles."Well, the script is only half written. Plus she says that the director and producer are creepy. Also that there's weird people auditioning with her." You shrug. "Plus, and Akira can confirm this, her double was weird too. Maybe it's just the job, but it's got my skin crawling.""Wish she was here." Star says. "Where is Sana anyway?""She always has dinner with her parents this time of the week." Sato says. "You do know that she lives with them in the Zone, right?""Huh." Star says. "I mean I knew she lived in the Zone, but with her folks, still?"Akira shrugs. "Some people don't have the luxury we do of leaving our parents with the cows back in the sticks.""Where did you guys all come from anyway?" Kali asks.Sato waves her off. "A town out in the boonies, you'd never heard of it. Cows, grass, and nothing. The biggest news in 10 years was that they built and opened a McDonalds there.""Ugh." Kali shiver. "Nature. No thank you."Rini shrugs. "It has its charms."Dinner continues to small talk, and speculation on the Sanctuary Hotel idea. You bid the two a good evening as they return to their homes.Later, you're pulling out Sachiko's evening target-practice arrows from the sign, while Akira holds the ladder."You think you'll need the whole team for this?" Akira asks. You shrug. "Maybe, not sure.""Well," Akira says. "It's not like we don't have other jobs, and since the Kayako job wasn't a paying gig, we need the money.""Risky jobs?" You ask."Nah, people with over active imaginations, grumpy spirits, and..." He sighs. "Birthday parties. No big pay days, but easy money. We can do that while you go check on Sana."> Okay, I'll go solo, you guys work.> How about I just take one/two of you guys along, and bring Akira/Sato/Star> Nah, this is a full team deal. I just know it.> Other
>>32595317>But Yurei could possess a laptop with, say, a Miku Hatsune program and talk that way, right? She could try. It's not exactly that simple, but she could try.
>>32595362> Okay, I'll go solo, you guys work.
>>32595317>That kinda sounds like Yurei was lying about her reasons for staying with us.As evident by her double with Kayako, she doesn't want to pass on.She wants to live. More than that, to feel, sing, touch, taste, etc.In theory. . .we could grant her that. through several means.>Have her possess someone. A comatose person maybe (moral conundrums aside)>Construct a golem for her to posses>Increase people's belief in her/channel more PKE into her form until she grows powerful enough to replicate being alive while still being a ghost
Wait, wasn't Sato's dad top accountant for the Gentlemen's Club?
>>32595416She'd get hit by the antivirus or something, wouldn't she? The Chyme has only one program and that's a music player, which has less resistance. A laptop is like.... well Tron Legacy wasn't entirely wrong with the city metaphor, ya know?>>32595362>Other>Go soloI don't think I'll need backup for this, but keep your cells off silent, okay?
>>32595453>Increase people's belief in her/channel more PKE into her form until she grows powerful enough to replicate being alive while still being a ghostTimes like these you gotta love mass culture. We're planning to do something similar to the lady who wants her "face" back (I'm new, if you can't tell) too, right? Why not have Yurei help star in the movie. Then we put it on Youtube.
>>32595487I forget what happened to him.>>32595497I proposed that yeah, but then the risk is she actually becomes "Good" Oiwa herself after so many people associate her with it.
>>32595494I don't know, I feel if Ghosts can overpoewer the complexities of the human conscioussness, a simple computer should be easy.I'm not sure, but it feels like there would be episode of either Extreme or The Real Ghostbusters with a ghost possessing a computer and tricking people.>>32595362> Okay, I'll go solo, you guys work.
>>32595494"I'll go solo. My worries, my job." You say. "But keep your cells on.""Sounds good."The next day, you and Sana are on the train to her audition.Sana is dressed nicely (but not showy) and is nervous, but professional. She's thankful that you're coming with her...and possibly blushing about it.You> Are fully equipped in jumpsuit, proton pack, and trap.> Jumpsuit and PKE meter.> Civvies and PKE meter.> Other
>>32595753> Are fully equipped in jumpsuit, proton pack, and trap.or something similar. I have a feeling this could get bad quickly, though, so custom suggestions would be great.

>>32595753> Civvies and PKE meter. We have the rest of our gear in the car, of course.
>>32595801> Othersee>>32595840Keep our pack in the car, but go in civilian clothes. Don't want to make Sana stick out, and we DON'T want her to associate with us as much as possible.>>32595801These things are literal nuclear reactors in backpacks, Dr. Kylie Griffin used a proton pistol but it still required the pack.
>>32595840Akira and the others are taking YOMI-1, you and Sana are taking the train.
>>32595886We have GOT to take a page off other ghost hunters and work on compact technology. Possibly a super-soaker sized slime gun.
>>32595840>>32595886We're taking a train to the audition though, so keeping our stuff in the car wouldn't really help.
>>32595911Oh. Well, no pack then. But bring the Meter just in case. And hey, for the fun of it, who wants to bring Yurei in our Chyme today? We need to take her out more often, and she could come in handy detecting it. Even if brining slimer always resulted in more ghost activity.
>>32595945>We have GOT to take a page off other ghost hunters and work on compact technologyWe're the ghostbusters, and best damn ghost hunters out there. We pioneered this stuff, and Spengler is the best on the planet with that kind of information. If anyone is better than us, I'd be damned surprised and want to learn from them.If we wanted compact hunting tools, we could resort to magic but that would require an entirely different set of training all together and comes with it's own risks.>Possibly a super-soaker sized slime gun. Then we risk running out of ammunition easily, those don't hold as much as a highly pressurized tank would.
>>32595953Definitely. She shouldn't just lay around, she should come with us. Should could definitely help us figure out what's what.
>>32595753>Are fully equipped in jumpsuit, proton pack, and trap.Always be prepared.>>32595953>who wants to bring Yurei in our Chyme today?Sounds fun. Let's have some.

>>32595753> Are fully equipped in jumpsuit, proton pack, and trap. And bring along Yurei just in case. We can wait outside while Sana take Yurei in with her.
>>32596094Normally I'd say we should always go everywhere with full gear, but we shouldn't potentially harm Sana's interview chances by sticking out like a sore thumb.Even the original ghostbusters had to wear civilian clothes everynow and then.
>>32595753Question GhostMaster.Would it be too much of a stretch to say we're carryng a dufflebag with lock with our pack and gear in it? That we could carry around with us and not look overtly suspcious
>>32596200>Would it be too much of a stretch to say we're carryng a dufflebag with lock with our pack and gear in it?If that is an option, I'd vote for it.
>>32596200I fully support this. It'd be big, but if we dressed right, we could do it. Hopefully we don't get hassled for it though (the P-COC probably requires ghostbusters to be overt).
>>32596200>>32596223When asked about it, we should simply say that we're "on a team". Technically true, but will probably lead to the wrong assumptions.>>32596094Can I say that while this is the first time I've heard that phrase, I like it immensely?
>>32596223same. If anyone asks we'll say we're carrying laboratory equipment for a research company we're working with.(which is technically true, the GB are forerunners of ghost research)
>>32595753Fully equipped, but with a big trench coat over it.If it worked for the Ninja Turtles...

>>32596401Actually, a trenchcoat could work.Is it summer or fall?
>>32595953You're dressed in casual clothes, and you have your phone, your PKE meter, and Yurei's Chyme all hanging off you, or in pockets.Yurei is within the Chyme and is all smiles and excitement."Can't that thing text?" Sana asks. "The Chyme I mean."Yurei nods. -YES. LIMITED PUNCTUATION THOUGH. ALSO CANNOT TALK IN LOWER CASE. VERY ANNOYING.-"You ever try, using a computer or a voice program or something?" Sana asks.-TRIED. FIRST ATTEMPT, MACHINE SHORTED OUT-PKE interference, a known phenomenon.- NEXT TRY. COULDNT UNDERSTAND WORDS. LIKE TALKING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE. SOUNDED LIKE GIBBERISH-Interesting. There's really never been any lexiconic studies on PKE entities."Huh, well we understand you just fine." Sana says. "Even if you can't talk we still want you around, even Akira."Yurei blushes hard when Sana mentions Akira. Sana blinks and puts a hand over her mouth and gives you a 'really?' look. You grin and nod.Sana breaks into laughter.Yurei looks cross and disappears from the screen."Too cute." Sana says. You arrive at the studio. It's in Akihabara, upper floor of an office building. It looks like a legitimate studio, there's pictures of commercial stills in the waiting room, and a receptionist."So, they seem to sell a lot of cereal." You say. All the displayed ads seem to be for breakfast foods. "What did you say this role was for?""A soap opera.""Really?""Yeah, well...a talking extra role. The big studios some times farm out the extras to smaller outfits." Sana says."Why?" You ask.She shrugs. "I think it's how they get around the unions.""Huh, you need a better agent."Sana grins. "Well, I tried to find one that was JUST on cocaine, but meth is SO damn popular now.""Picky picky." You say. "So...we just wait?""Yeah. >>32596492>It's in AkihabaraWe could've been in full gear, and no one would have batted an eye. Probably would've asked to pose for pictures, but… since we're incognito, it won't hurt to get some intel.>>32596522Well, they did fall asleep on each other after the yokai house party, so…>>32596686>Have Yurei tell us if she feels anything ghostlyI'll go with this, since we're being inconspicuous. >>32596686>Our PKE meter can give us a more accurate reading.I dunno, with Yurei we have literal eyes on the otherside.Well, as long as we can at least wait until Sana is called and don't try to be so very noticeable about it.We'll sit down in different chairs of teh room holding out our thing, if anyone asks it's a new device to get a better phone signal even in places where signals are poor.
>>32596742>Probably would've *been asked

>>32596949I know, I love it.Hey, if she get's powerful enough she might manifest an actual ghost pack and fight other ghosts with it.
We have a discussion about "pride" and the difference between being smug and haughty about something beneficial to you that is out of your control and embracing something about yourself as a part of who you are. Then we discuss what she'd like to do with these powers - will she use them for good? For EVIL? Or will they just be a quirky talent of hers while she pursues some more common, mundane career? The choice is hers, but by God I'll be there every step of the way pushing her to be the best she can be.
>>32596984And even if she can't do that on her own, we can just steal one from the Peoplebusters or, if we get on friendly terms with them and the Japanese underworld (a distinct possibility if we get that sanctuary up and running), then they might give her one!

We know for sure he didn't reach it with the first thrust as he was still conscious to make a second.Thankfully there aren't any major artieries or veins that way either, so death by bloodloss won't be that high either. So long as he avoids the brainstem, he'll be fine. He'll just never hear again. We should also probably slime him if the ghost hasn't already left him, posi-slime has slight healing potencies and it might at least stop the bleeding (though it shouldn't be much either because ear canal isn't close to vital arteries)For that we need the pack

In fact, it's that same line of thinking that got Oi- the *Other* into a mess she'd rather get away from. You know what DOES inspire women and others these days?Triumph. To overcome those who slight you and toy with you. To strive up and over them and look down upon them, not tear them down in a shower of blood. If you wanted to help Sana and those like her, make her an example of how being used is NOT the end. Make HER the actor she dreams of being. For if you do what you intend to do, to ruin a womans life with blood, you only justify the very people you try to gain revenge. It used to be simple, there were the things that stayed by the fire and the warmth of others, and there were things that hid in the shadows. Now it's all complicated with courts and rituals and hierarchies. Clans I get, but even then you screw them up. It's annoying and needless. Back then, a man took a woman I would help that woman grab a stone and cave in the fucker's skull. Now it's all covered in this horrid civilization crap. What happened to that Code your First King came up with? That worked!""First King?""Do you really know nothing of your own roots? 5800 years, the Old Man has picked out his Priests and you do as you do...and every damn time you stumble around like children in the dark learning what shapes are! "I keep hearing people refer to this guy I DON'T know, and call us Ur Exorcist, when we're Ghostbusters.""You've called yourself many things, but We of Before and Things of Shadow aren't as easy to change as mortals or the Old Man and his Ex-Wife are...and THAT part blows my mind. You'd think SHE'D be on my side of ANYONE but noooo, she thinks I'm a bitch. She's the bitch.""Back to my question?" You ask."Oh, your kind were the Exorcists for the City of Ur. The first ones brave enough to go into the shadows and beat us back, to learn of what there was, and to create ways to keep you Mortals of the Light safe. There have always been you, and you have always been His.""WHO?!""Enkidu, of course. A little bit of Ishtar as well." Fury says."Huh."(cont)
>>32602636Yes, but I really really want to strike a challenge to her. Offer her something, I don't know what yet. Then, if we are lucky and she accepts, guess what's the first role we're going to have Sana do?Acting as Oiwa in the movie that's going to change Japan's perspective of her for the good.
>>32602656Ah, Sumeria and ancient Babylon.Covered in college history, JRPG's, and VN's.
>>32602656But... Enkidu died! He was just as godly as Gilgamesh, who may have been two-thirds a god but still died as well!>>32602772Enkidu wasn't a god! And it was Gilgamesh who was more godly, even if both were made by Ishtar.
>>32602772>>32602801Also Gozer the Gozerian should pretty much be common knowledge to every ghostbuster so far. Both the original and the extreme ghostbusters have (are) dealing with Tiamat as well.
>>32602862They also encountered Marduk when he was trying to get away from Tiamat after he kept wrecking the cities he wanted to settle down in.Tiamat was vaporized by a large vehicle mounted proton canon and the power of Marduk, as one couldn't exist without the other.
>>32602656"Anyway," You say. "What happens if we aren't successful fending off You-Know-Who? She's going to ravage this land, living and dead. Do you have a plan for that?"There's a pause."There will be no one to rage against, no one to rage with, and all you'll have left is ash." You say."Such disasters have happened before." Fury says. "There are survivors, always. Things will go on."You smile. Got her. "Yes, things will go on. That's how it is for mortals, isn't it? No matter how many lessons we get, how many pyres are set, things just go on. Women still end up used, abused, and loathed. Things just go on."BUT...you know what DOES last?" You say. "What DOES keep going on, just as much as humans do?""What?""Stories." You say. "Stories of Triumph. Stories that say it is possible to overcome those who slight you and toy with you. To strive up and over them and look down upon them, not tear them down in a shower of blood."If you wanted to help Sana and those like her, make her an example of how being used is NOT the end. Make HER the actor she dreams of being."For if you do what you intend to do, to ruin a woman's life with blood, you only justify the very people you try to gain revenge. You prove that what they do does ruins the lives and dreams of women, and there is nothing you nor they can do to stop it. You aid the thing you fight against."As the ancients say, the best revenge is living well.""Or something like that." Sato says. The calvary has arrived!(cont)
"Where is the spook?" Star asks. "We had the paramedics hang back...holy SHIT!" She shouts seeing the producer. "He did that to HIMSELF?!""You talk very prettily, Exorcist." Fury says. "And it seems I am outnumbered.""Who said that?" Akira asks."This is not a retreat, and this is not a treaty." Fury says. "The other scum's soul is mine...but I will not force a fight with you. Nor will I take your acolyte." She chuckles. "Show me these 'stories' of yours, and maybe we'll talk again. Or maybe I'll dance in your ashes when Oiwa destroys you all. Either way, this should be very interesting."Either way, word of this day has already seeped into Japan, and Fury's vengeance is known. I am sated with blood and honor. We will meet again, 'Ghostbusters' and I hope we do so soon."And like that, the presence is gone."What just happened?" Sato asked."I think I stalled a God from killing this guy until the paramedics showed." You say. "By the way, GET THE PARAMEDICS!"> Roll 2d6

Rolled 1, 6 = 7>>32603066Well that went well....
Rolled 3, 5 = 8>>32603066Wooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Rolled 5, 6 = 11>>32603100Well, least i'm rolling well
>no foursAt least this bastard didn't die.
>>32602801>Enkidu wasn't a god! And it was Gilgamesh who was more godly, even if both were made by Ishtar.I've actually seen multiple versions of the name 'Enki' "Inku' 'Enkidu' 'innku' etc. There's also multiple characters referred to by that name. Some have him as the god of wisdom, some have him as a trickster god who knew the secret to immortality, and there is the Half-beast man that was Gilgamesh's equal and friend who died and spurred Gil's quest for immortality.I'm going with Enkidu as a Wisdom/Trickster God, who named the Half-beast creature he created after himself, because Gods are raging egomaniacs.
>>32603100That assumes that your plan even has a chance of actually working, instead of backfiring horribly.Because creating a movie about Oiwa would just cause people to look up the Oiwa legend and not only would more people learn of the original tale of hate, but after looking at the source material, your movie would be criticized and lambasted as a hackneyed Disneyification of the source material.
>>32603141>Reasonable explanationMy sperging is assuaged.
>>32603141The important thing is that this all ties back to some Mesopotamian asshole like all good ghostbusters stories.
>>32603085Well, thanks a little to your first aid, and more to the Producer's bad aim, he'll be okay and with only minor hearing-loss issues. "So, there's a kinda-goddess of Female Retribution running around Japan?" Sato says. "Great." He looks at Sana and Star. "Can I make even ONE PMS joke?""NO." They both says."As the ancients say: A woman's unhappiness brings more rain than a monsoon of misfortune." Sato says. "Or something like that...better?""Thin ice, Sato." Star says."I turned down other roles for this." Star says. "I passed up work...I might not be stuck working for you guys because of these assholes." She fumes. "Maybe you should have let her kill them.""Sana!" Star says."I know, I know. I take it back. I'm just upset." She shakes her head. Then snaps it upward. "Oh crap! The other sleaze ball!"> We have to find him.> Not our problem. Call P-COC or the cops.> Let's not say anything. Bastard reaps what he sows.> Other
>>32603166That's why we're going to make an Animu of it. Or a Mango. Or both.
>>32603248Sigh>We have to find himAND BILL HIM!
>>32603166It is very risky, and somewhat implausible, but if it did work the rewards would be enormous.Apart from that, the media is the only way I can imagine getting back her face.>>32603251Or a book, if we can go by the sucess of Harry Potter with wizards and Wicked with the wizard of oz.
>>32603248>Not our problem. Call P-COC or the cops.As it is, we have other things to worry about. Such as, if the cracks in reality are getting wide enough to allow an ancient Sumerian Fury through, what else is going to come through?
>>32603248> Not our problem. Call P-COC or the cops.We have too much shit on our plate. Let's call this case closed and let other people track this guy down.Because once we do track him down, what would we do? Keep him in the Reject Zone until the Fury shows up again?Nah, just hand him off to P-COC and let them study what it's like to be cursed by an ancient daemon. Who knows. Maybe they'll find a cure.
>>32603307>>32603342That's gross negligence guys. We can't abandon our duty as Ghostbusters on a whim, when we go to busts ghost, we go to bust ALL the ghosts.Even if we don't like the people we're saving. As for what we do with him, we give him anti-ghost techniques and monitor equipment of course. At least keep tabs on him.>>32603284This. Leave no stone untraced and no pocket unpicked>>32603307Honestly it's the night of the blood moons so it's no big surprise.Facing down Sumerian Furies as opposed to ancient Japanese one's would be a blessing because at least Central has had loads of experience with those.
>>32603295It'd have to be pretty complex book, but something similar to the argument used to sway the Fury should work.
>>32603382Okay, we hand him a cell phone and make him pay for that goo to take a bath in.But beyond that, what can we do really?
>>32603248"Sana, with your talent, you'll find something. And if we have to, we'll MAKE something. Or get some friends to pull some strings."
>>32603403>make him pay for that goo to take a bath in.Honestly, that's the only reason we need>>32603403>>32603442We could hire J.J. Kline to write it, script or novel (he;s the Stephen King of the GB universe.)He also has psionic powers, he once wrote a story about ghost and they became real and the GB had to bust them)
>>32603295>>32603398A book similar to 'Wicked' is the only one that I see having a chance. It would have to be Oiwa's tale written from her point of view, not excluding her actions while trying to make her a sympathetic character. But assumes that we can find an author that's good enough to write an engaging tale.
>>32603477see >>32603474This guy right here.
>>32603508He writes gore fests, though. Is that really how we want to have Oiwa portrayed as? A murder-filled gore-soaked protagonist?
>>32603568On second thought. . .that is a highly true statement.Dammit, guess the guy who recommends this universes Miyazaki is right .
>>32603284"We have to find him, and BILL him!" You say.The other GBs let out a cheer."So how are we going to find him?" Sato asks."Hang on." Sana says. She runs over to the ambulance and comes back with a cellphone."How'd you get that?" You ask."Asked nicely." She says. "Okay, so do we have any idea what this guy's name is?""Jiro?" You say. "Wait, no that was the producer's name.""I'm just gonna call the last number and go from there." Sana says. She dials.> Roll 1d6
Rolled 2>>32603621Shouldn't we try to get ahold of the secretary, or search the secretary's desk?Or, goddammit, check their office, because as Japanese businessmen, they're sure to have their business cards.

Rolled 4>>32603667>>32603680Welp. This'll end badly. Again.
You know what?If the Fury already got the guy, I don't really care. I'm sure Daisuke will care, but I won't.
>>32603755I care about the money
>>32603755I care.Because then we can't double bill for this job.We pulled Sato away from HOT RUSSIAN MILF for this; as a bro, we should be concerned about making this call worth his while.
>>32603680"Hello Ghostbusters." A female voice says. Crap. It's Fury."Don't feel bad, you guys really had no way of beating me to him. By the by, there's a train delay tonight, so you have a more reliable ride home? Lovely.""So help me, Fury." You say. "If you've taken a hostage, you'll be treated to the most cramped trap we have!""Oh, no no no." Fury clucks her tongue. "You don't get to be around as long as I have without knowing a few tricks. The easiest one is to give someone juuuust a little push. Which is useless, unless they're at the train station.""Fuck!" Akira swears."Hey, you saved the life of one. That's a damn sight better than most do." Fury says. "Anyway, I have my blood and fear, I'm full. I think I'll hang around and do the tourist thing for a bit. Maybe help out a little more. If it makes you feel better, I promise no to possess anyone 'long term.' Okay?""You KNOW we'll come after you." You say."I'm hoping for it!" Fury says. "I LOVE a good hunt, and a good fight. I have more Ishtar in me than you do. Anyway, I don't plan on leaving a vast spree of death in my wake. Dull and too much..." She yawns. "Effort for too little pay off. I'm a quality over quantity gal.""And a talkative one." Akira says."That too. Oh, would you like this sleaze's credit card number? I can read it despite the bloodstains." Fury says. "Or is his sleazy friend paying you for services rendered?"> We'll be using this money to trap you, psycho....go ahead.> We'll pass. Catch you later, Fury. In every sense of that term.> Other
>>32603882>We'll pass. Catch you later, Fury. In every sense of that term. For once I'm going to have to agree with Oiwa. Fury is a bitch.
>>32603882"Now that's just not fair, you know we can't use that blood money now. Meddle with us but not with the cash lady!">>32603917We should still take it, even if we can't see some reason to use the card (and there might be one) blood money has potent power. Not exactly 30 pieces of silver potent, but possible useable against fury in the future.
>>32603882>Other"Ugh, no. Have you ANY idea what using the credit card of a dead man will do to us? Not only would the P-COC come down on us with both feet, but the mundane authorities would nail us for credit fraud, because the cardholder can't give their consent to the transaction."I'm sorry, but we're going to have to take the payment out of you for this. Nothing personal; just business."
>>32603882>> We'll pass. Catch you later, Fury. In every sense of that term.
>>32603947Taking it and storing it for later as an object of power yes.Just make sure we don't use it for any other reason of course.
>>32603954Pretty much this.
That's gonna be the last time we try to bust alone.
>>32603947>We should still take itThat'll mean taking evidence from a crime scene, though. It'll be hard to convince the police to let something like that go.
>>32604013This. Not to mention that we're basically taking a bribe from a murdering ghost.
>>32603882>We'll pass. Catch you later, Fury. In every sense of that termHow about when we catch you, you hand over that number to us. But not now.
>>32604013>>32604028This is a paranormal event and under our jurisdiction, we can take as much evidence as we want so long as is tangently paranormally related.I'm just saying outside of money, that card may end up useful in possibly saving that man or at least a tool for him to posthumously help us fight back against fury. Could use it to channel the anger from the victims she's killedAs the ancienst say "Even the dead demand payment of the dead"
>>32603954You roll your eyes. "Ugh, no. Nothing personal; just business." You say."Okay." She says with a sigh. "What will it be, gold, diamonds, or slaves?""What?""You're payment. I don't have a credit account of my own at the moment." Fury says. "But if this is to be a Proper Hunt, then we should both play fair. Professionalism and business and all that nonsense people say to justify their savagery.""You'll give us gold?" You ask."Or diamonds, or slaves. Not a LOT, I've looked up your rates." She chuckles. "THAT'S another thing that's never changed with the Ur Exorcists, you charge people out the nose. So, what'll jt be? I vow upon the Old Man and Herself that the payment will be at your temple when you return."> Gold> Diamonds> Nothing> Other
>>32604106> Nothing"You killed a man and tried to kill another. We don't want your shit. And you can shove your 'Did you throw in a silver bomb or a gold bomb' Zelda bullshit right up your ass. We're here to catch monsters like you, not be tested like goddamn children."
>>32604106Well, was gonna suggest the whole "make Sana into the greatest actor there ever was" but considering she is a spirit of fury of women and entirely anti-thetical to that. It's likely whatever form she does pay us will be cursed or have a flaw of some kind. That is not to say we should reject that as a form of payment, because even cursed artifacts have their usage. And having a lot of cursed gold on hand could end up being useful so long as we make sure never to actually buy anything with it.Still can't reject payment though. She's right, we DO charge people out the nose and we'd get the nose too if we could. Just the way it is.> Gold
>>32604106We need to consult with our gang for this.

>>32604252The Youkai haven't recently killed anyone.
>>32603568let's see where this takes us
>>32604257No, no, no it's obviously going to be cursed gold or some thing to spite us.It'd be a bad idea to spend it, or give it to a good cause. We have to save that stuff to use against our enemies.>>32604270The point? That still doesn't make it unethical. If you recall we've helped Kali and her gang, and they've killed possibly hundreds of people over the centuries. We give them a free house even because they said they were sorry.
>>32604295So you think the gold is cursed and want to take it anyway? Why? Who would we give it to? The PCOC?
>>32604295Okay, then. Nothing it is.
>>32604317You gotta link to Ghostmaster when you vote.
>>32604308>>32604317Never doubt the power of magical artifacts used wisely. But, if you guys are so adamant about it fine. We won't accept payment from her but by god SOMEBODY WILL PAY FOR THIS!

>>32604335Eh, gold sounds fine with me.
>>32604106I still want gold. If it's really bad we just destroy it.

>>32604163>>32604168>>32604219"Ummm..." You look at the others. "You're offering us gold? Like...real gold? Not a trick or cursed or anything like that?""Yes, real gold. Just a few solid coins." Fury says. "Come on little boy, I can TASTE the greed in your voice. So typical of your sex. I mean, believe me when I say this, I hold you and your companions SLIGHTLY higher than the rest of male filth, but...well, I don't fault a dog for sniffing its own feces. It's its nature."You see Sato, he's actually nodding and motioning 'Go for it!' But it's not greed in HIS eyes...it's that hung-ho 'charge the monster/hero time' look."Okay. We'll take the gold." You say. "Catch you later, Fury...literally.""Looking forward to it, Ghostbuster!" Fury hangs up.Sato takes the phone and puts it in a Safe-Bag."We can use the coins to track Fury!" Sato says. "They're going to be BATHED in her PKE.""Damn Sato," Star says with a grin. "That really is brilliant..." She sighs and then fishes out a piece of paper. "Here. You deserve it.""What is it?" He asks."The Russian lady's number." She says."Oh, I SO owe you!""Yeah, well you ALL owe my parents an explanation." Sana says. "I was supposed to be on their favorite soap! I was cheated!""One of them is dead, and the other is mutilated for life." Sato says. "Feel better?""I would if that was an unique occurrence." She mutters."Because you work with the Ghostbusters?" You ask."Because I work in showbiz!" Sana says.END EPISODE 20
>>32604396>"We can use the coins to track Fury!" Sato says. "They're going to be BATHED in her PKE."Okay, I didn't think of this. I don't think anybody did.So yeah, go Sato for thinking outside the box. Let's catch this bitch.
