Rolled 38Last time among our not so merry band of outcasts we heeded the call to action to deal with the dark pact zombies. That we succeeded at but sadly when we took action against the zombie horde we lost a great number of our officers and worst yet the horde marching forth has our own base right in its path.Meanwhile our lowly outcasts have evolved into Looters a type of class that is especially good at the obvious at the cost of everything else. On the plus side though more loots downside you ain't so good at. The first step on the path of ravagers. Sadly its not an easy path to walk by any means. The horde was attacked by neighborhood forces but they were utterly crushed and city forces will soon descend upon it. Whether that will be in time to save our sorry asses is unknown. Not to mention the lab is STILL a problem thus we don't exactly have a way to gtfo. Well at least you don't I got it covered.Last thread: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/32245380/New players always welcome especially considering how this civ is.

>>32399287>Away for foodRighto, don't forget to post when you get back.
Looking back at the archives, I suddenly feel like an idiot. I just realize the Traveler is an outcast who is experiencing our base first hand, I thought it was one of our own in another base.
>>32399928>>32399287that. . .is correct yes Genie?
Rolled 71>>32400037Yes one of your few remaining true outcasts has all your older ones got converted into looters.
Rolled 53Kali the Romance / Doc Wilt (I believe is a hero) / Chef / Double T (Traveler)(Officer or hero in training) / Quartermaster Hands (Officer of the base, Maybe) / Mulka (Still think she is a hero, Now more so) / Sneaky giant robot (One of BAL's people is my guess) / previous leader of the mutant pack who joined up (Hero, maybe) / duo between mutant and ghoul (Not likely the ones we are thinking) / BAL Still not sure what to make of it all.
Rolled 69>>32400099That is what the banditry primer is for. Whenever you have questions it may very well have the answers or at least some kind of info depending on the primer. The one you have is excellent and a real treasure.
>>32400073Well, shit that's a goldmine of info right there.I should've reread it. Anywho what to do about the zombies. . .
>>32400073>>32400219I meanhttp://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/32245380/#p32299934A repackager that makes spoiled and bad things good again, I imagine this would be really helpful concerning our food issue yes?
Rolled 94>>32400139Lets see here. Last time the primer said look for leads and follow them. But just asking my not work well with most."BAL, Do you know anything about a 'Sneaky giant robot?""Mulka, You seem to have a good head. If you don't mind me asking how long have you been doing this kind of work?""Doc Wilt, You and your group have done well to get our peoples health up. Thanks for that. May I ask more about your self? Like where you learned all this awesome medical skills.""Kali, How is the chop shop running? Find all good parts."
>>32400313>Oh yes the repackager. Have to do that off or on less what is contained becomes damaged. Sometimes this includes refreshing the stuff as well. You got lucky you managed to avoid that fate. Would lov-I mean hate to see what would of happened.I wonder what really would happen if we threw someting live in there to be "refreshed"
Rolled 83>>32400313Its not that nearly that good. Its designed to help BEFORE it gets that bad then it can do something about it.>>32400331I am aware of a number of robot types who serve me as for something like that there are a few.>>32400331"For awhile now.">Doc WiltI learned my skills at a medical school until I got kicked out for reasons. This looks interesting, I don't know too much of what's going on but I'll just lurk a bit.
Rolled 13>>32399247and just now I realized I forgot to include number in addition to the other mistake. Damn.
Hey guys, why haven't we freed the slaves yet?
>>32400488[BAL] Cool wanted to be sure.[Mulka] Any good stories or skill you picked up? [Doc Wilt] I can see that. But glad to have you with us. Any skills or people you know that could aid our zombie fight?[Kali] How fast can up break them down? Like a caravan.... not that I think about could the banditry primer tell us what the other picks could have done?>>32400721No clue other than it would tick most of our people off. Ghouls just need more food, Robots don't care and I'm probably missing something.
>>32400721I don't know, we keep talking about it and agreeing on it, but it never seems to get implemented because we're either fighitng, raiding, or surviving.Wasn't it "earn your freedom through Labor/Breeding and then earn your place as outcasts through military service" I think that's a fair deal many wouldn't be too displeased about.
>>32400793Why not. . .try and implement it now?
>>32400990I'm with this guy.
>>32401016Particularly, if they want to fight against the oncoming zombie horde.
Rolled 63Basic 1Implement the "Indentured Freedom Plan"Worker slaves who have served a number of years are given their freedom, and if they wish to stay and become outcasts they may serve in the military.Alternatively, they can skip the years of servitude and join the military directly to earn their freedom faster.Pleasure slaves are required to fill a quota of either breeding at least 2 females or 3 males into the world, either themselves or helping other outcasts have children. If they wish to stay among us after being given their freedom, they will be allowed to stay at the price of 1 more child.Meanwhile, military forces should prepare whatever defenses we might be capable of to slow down the zombies in time for the City forces to arrive.
Rolled 96>>32401198Well, I suppose it's a start. Vote.
Rolled 8>>32401198Vote. It should be retroactive so any slaves that have already met the quota may leave
Rolled 62>>32401198Yeah, slave freedom and more population!
>>32401198If I remember right we are attackers not defenders. We are looters now we lost some things and gain looting power.
>>32401477Oh, well.>>32401198Change that to "Have Chief Mulka and whoever we can trust as competent when it comes to raiding prepare an attack plan to slow down the zombies by picking them into small groups off or diving them, using speed and quick attacks and retreats"
Rolled 12>>32401477But if I remember right we explored the area and found choke points. We just need to block building access.>Trill and Co are now off scouting. They say the zombie horde will be upon us soon if nothing is done and the nearby terrain naturally forces them into a chokepoint. So long as they don't go through buildings anyway.Yup, never mind then. So lets blow up some buildings and lock it down. >>32401198 Then Fire at what comes out.
Rolled 75>>32401198...plan implemented. We will have to see how they will react. The mutants for one seem iffy and the ghouls downright unhappy. Rolled 1WARNINGZOMBIE HORDE HAS DESCENDED UPON OUR AREA.City forces have FINALLY mobilized.AlertCity systems are requesting evacuation to a certain area or staying put if your not in immediate danger.Forces have engaged. Zombie horde was knowing what to expect and was charging forward at city forces entrenchments and mobilization. Against all odds it became a EXTREMELY close fight. Somehow the city forces being vastly outnumbered is holding the line against the gigantic number of zombie forces.A single turn has been bought.
Rolled 80>>32401950ALERTEvuacation center has fallen to the zombies. Apparently they had somehow become infected...WARNINGZombie reinforcements are pouring in. Another horde has been detected and zombie forces are regularly streaming in/breaking apart in an immense tide.
>>32401838... We get to use Double T? That could be cool. He is in good with the mutants. Maybe the favor good to have more of those.(I'm having trouble with the hero finding. I feel if we come out and ask it would come off as weird.)>>32402026I think we maybe need to loot all the zombies or call in the Umako Ravagers.
Rolled 86>>32402026NewsLocal city garrisons have fallen.City forces have mobilized in mass.Militias have been raised and all over the entire sector are currently embattled with zombie forces.Mercenaries are being hired in mass by the different pleasure areas.WARNINGZed forces detected.
>>32401838What does the banditry primer give on looters and tips on fighting zombies? Hopefully anything we don't know.
Rolled 46>>32401838>hero reveal Or>bonus to looting
Rolled 78>>32402207>>32401838Also if we are pointing out mistakes for bonuses... You did put an extra "P" in the thread title..
Rolled 75>>32402190Looters are even more obsessed with loot then your average bandits while this making them much better at looting they're other skills will suffer for it. Noted to being much weaker in your average bandit forces but they are good at picking stuff others would of missed.the looter tree is NOT an easy one to walk many dream of becoming the legendary ravagers unaware of how utterly difficult it is. Thus one will rarely find them in force usually they'll either join up with another band or move in small groups stripping areas and battlefields of whatever they possess.Zombie wise its the typical general advice. It does however offer further advice depending on the type of zombie and even has some info on zeds.>>32402300Already included that.
>>32402357Cool so we can find things to upgrade faster.>Banditry primerWhat do you have on zombies that can infect? What do you have on courting heroes? We can talk to them. But what are better ways to. Any dos or don'ts would be nice.
Also now knowing that we are weaker in attack and other areas. Maybe we use >Bonus to action to upgrade our next moves. Other wise backing >>32402207 >hero reveal. We can burn them with hot buns. But we will need more that that.
Also, I'm quite happy that for once it's not OUR fault that things have gone to shit. It's actually, almost kinda fun to see so many other panicking like we did.I almost want to tune into their frequencies and hear what desperate cockamamie plans the others are coming up with.
Rolled 38>>32402977It's because we are the bad guys. We make people have bad days, We just get hungry.
Rolled 80>>32402487All zombies can infect rather its a question of how their infection works. Some are very rapid others can take entire weeks even. Some make you so sick you seemingly 'die' before coming back. and so on. When you get down to it unlike ghouls zombies MUST infect in order to spread. Only exception to this are infected cloning facilities and labs. Supposedly a few strains have developed other means of reproduction.Courting heroesThrowing loot or resources and giving them time off to work on their pet projects tends to do wonders. That is however if you know who they are. If you are trying to find or recruit them its a different beast entirely.
Rolled 4>>32403133Great. What does it say about the zeds types?Any more tips for finding or recruitment?Speaking of recruiting looks like Hero Reveal won.
Rolled 34>>32403229Zed types are da fuckers who use and potentially even live among zombies. For whatever reason they may or not be infected and somehow have 'tamed' the zombies. At least work with them successfully in some capacity. Very dangerous as they can use zombies as a sorta buffer and meat shield. To find heroes you need to ask around, pay attention to hints, or do a walk around. There are other ways but it typically depends on the hero in question.Recruiting heroes meanwhile means somehow enticing them to join you. Luckily they tend to be bit more obvious but also seemingly much rarer. heroes who are available for recruitment tend not to be attached to a faction if they are it means you have to either steal them away or take their group with them as well.HERO REVEALLoots Mastah JoyeBonus LootingAbilitiesAppraisal Gleen: Can identify something for all its worth with just a glance.Loot em: Cancels out a single loot nullify
>>32403620Hey AI Bal, what do our insiders on the Farmers have to say how they're reacting to the incoming Horde?I believe we're close enough that they ought to be concerned as well.
Rolled 39>>32403667They locked themselves up tight.
>>32403709Hmm, typical. I suppose they have the defenses to feel safe about that. The thought occured to me that a strike to soften their defenses and lead a zombie horde right up to them would be most inconvenient for them, and convenient for us.Does chief Gul have enough Zombie hunting experience to sway an entire Horde one way?
>>32403786It has been a while since we a good ol' "use the zombies for fun!" move. Not since Bloodsnow I think
Rolled 1>>32403786"An entire horde? Hell no."
>>32403133>Throwing loot or resources and giving them time off to work on their pet projectsWell, who wants to throw our Ravager Niece a loot or two when we get our stocks back up?
>>32403620All right. Now that we have a looter. We can loot everything. With the group we have. Can we close off the buildings to make a really good choke point? Then we loot everything with Alisha's help. Making zombies in a box. (I kind of want to see if we can get to the point of looting. Where can get the enemy's ammo before they can use it.)>>32403882I say do it now and get her help for the zombies.
Rolled 11>>32403898"Well thats new. Not sure how that happened....I hate you dice goddess and hear I thought you were being good or better yet gone.----"...to manipulate zombies would make us Zeds. You sure you wanna do that?"
>>32403898Being zeds would completely nullify all our Outcast recruiting bonuses and such.
Rolled 82>>32403845>>32403919and the 77 from the fuck up post.Good god these rolls...rolling for reasons once more.
>>32403923Yeah, I guess. And we've already lost a bit of it by becoming looters. But that shit is fun as hell...>>32403919Hey Genie, why is manipulating Feral Ghouls not as bad as Manipulating Zombies? They pretty much accomplish the same thing.
>>32403923I think becoming looters did that. This would probably make us vile.
>>32403907I dunno, it might be better spent fortifying or bringing defenses back online. The Ghouls could probably get our defenses back online (and in Ghoulish variant) so as to take advantage of our massive power supply.
Rolled 43>>32403923You are already in danger of losing those big time.>>32403954and it has been broken thank god.>>32403978Reason is ghouls and how ferals are still smarter then your average zombie.
>>32403982Nah, becoming looters only changed it a bit. We made up for it by releasing our slaves.
>>32404012We need to find a way to keep the Ghouls happy with less human meat though.Maybe find a way to spice up and make Zombie meat taste better, like finding freshly infected zombies and putting their meat in the refreshing machine or something.Alternatively we crack through the labs and get to the Ghoul caravans
Rolled 81>>32404012Uh no it didn't you really shot yourselves in the foot going looter. Your outcast standing is in deep jeopardy. No longer being seen as outcasts means you lose the benefits and looters for obvious reasons make tempting targets.
>>32403988If we can get some beam weapons or something yeah I will be down for it. May over charge the super tank.>>32404012Ah. >>32404050After the zombies I'm down for it.
>>32404010I dunno, I'd rather be trying to avoid a dumb zombie fucker trying to eat my face than a slightly more intelligent feral ghoul using his brain to try and eat my face.Hrmm, Ghouls and Zombies are natural enemies. And we haven't yet found a use for these ferals and they're hyped on radiation and hungry. I wonder if it'd be possible to loose them on the Zombies to thin their numbers a little.
>>32404114So question, if a zombie bites a Ghoul do they become infected or does the radation kill it?
>>32404146I forget. We know Ghouls can convert zombies into more Ghouls through radiation exposure, but we haven't seen Ghouls become Zombies.Maybe the Ghouls could further "modify" our reactors to pump high amounts of radiation at the battlefield and convert zombies and strengthing the ferals if we send them to fight. Giving them resources would also placate them for freeing slaves.
>>32404061Questions Genie, mostly to Chief Gul."How Valuable are our Ferals and are they more valuable then hyping them with radiation and sending them against Zombies?""If we gave you resources to modify the Reactors, could you make them even stronger and possibly convert zombies into Ghouls?"
>>32404217I'm kind of down for that. If the ghouls can do it and none of the heroes or officers have a problem with it.
>>32404217So if we use radiation as a weapon we can convert these zed's to Ghoul's? I think we have a weapon here.
Rolled 45>>32404268Into rad ghouls is what they are known as yes. Once upon a time would you believe they were once considered one of the rarest if no the most rare of ghoul types? Now they are among the most common if not the very most.>>32404254"Can already do the second part. As for how valuable...eh we don't really have all that many and it depends on just how feral they are.">>32404146Interestingly enough most if not all ghouls are immune to zombie plagues.
Rolled 76>>32404360Basic 1Have Chief Gul and the Ghouls and anyone else with knowledge of technology convert our reactors to overcharge and releaes HUGE doses of radiation, perhaps as a bomb we can throw at the zombies or better yet as a directed radiation-ray beam thingy. The plan is, when the zombies come here, we throw as much radiation at them as we can to try and Ghoulify them and if that don't work we unleash the ferals where the radiation will hyper boost them and weaken the zombies.
>>32404360Question can they keep that many in line or even control that many zombie-ghouls?
>>32404563We might not have to worry. Likely the sheer mass of the zombies will annihilate the ghouls, or if the gods favor us the ghouls will be strong and numerous enough eat all the zombies horde or delay long enough for city forces to arrive.
>>32404605That's what I'm hoping. But for all we know they could god mad and turn on us. Got to be safe. But other wise I'm fully down for the plan.
Rolled 30>>32404563We do not have any wranglers among our number so it is questionable.
>>32404681"Well Chief Gul, you'd know better than us. If a buncha Ferals and/or Zombie turned Ghouls were faced between a tasty Zombie Horde and another target, which would they pick?"
Rolled 8>>32404718"Depends on who draws their attention first."
>>32404746" Would the zombies that are yelling, attacking be enough to draw said attention? "
>>32404746Then we'll be sure to loose them when the zombies get close enough
>>32404766Worse comes to worse, we have our vehicles/aircraft make loud roaring noises and lead them back into the zombie horde.

>>32405416wow are really dead?
Rolled 48>>32405310...that sums it up quite nicely actually.>>32404472Well...you know how our reactors were already ghoulish and thus highly potent/tempermental? Yeah turns out when you try to get them to overcharge AND release huge ass doses of radiation will end up mimicing a nuke...but worse. Nukes don't tend to be nearly so potent radioactively speaking anyway. So yeah we NUKED ourselves to high heaven best part is that wasn't even the worst for you see we did so as planned when the zombies were on us and yes they indeed went ghoulish...who then promptly driven to madness by the radiation/hunger descended on our forces while the zombies showed a great deal of unexpected self preservation by keeping their distance. That is until the special ones showed up...waited till they were soaked up most of the radiation before sweeping in taking care of the leftovers and those who tried to escape.Meanwhile a certain ravager slinked away somehow surprisingly intact. "damn they should of known better doing all that to a ghoulish reactor your just begging for it though I will admit the rest was a whole lotta bad luck. Guess its time to leave this city.">>32405416Nope and nope.
Rolled 70>>32405496Not even a ravager pack would of been able to save you cause goddamn. Quite the way to kill yourselves though I will admit.>>32405508Meanwhile deep underground a certain rampant AI had the BRILLIANT idea of diverting the radiation downstairs...which in turn served to lure up and deal with all sorts of fun stuff while it locked itself away within its own private level waiting till things will cool down. also how to deal with the ass ton of ghouls and trapped zombies thanks to the fallout, buildings, and city forces who now had them pinned. At least here anyway. Though from the reports the city forces marched in mass within the sector to deal with the problem.First by cutting the zombies off from reinforcements, crushing hordes, and then a good ol fashion purge.Just another typical day in Kokaido really.

Only part of my system that needs finished before I can publish it then I will work on the compilation as well as bonus features.
Rolled 98, 56, 100, 89, 84 = 427>>32405998>Megacorp Remnants: You are survivors whose ancestors were valued employees and investors of a Megacorp. >>32405998>pop growth a pain in the arseYou're telling US that? What I wouldn't give to reach the scale of the Memor even just once, not only starting with 1000+ but finding a broodmother.I still keep hope that one day we'll taste 4 basic actions and start talking about ourselves in the hundreds of thousands, even if it's only for a turn.
>>32406038Government remant I'm voting for.

>>32406138Got any ideas in mind or are we gonna wing it?
>>32406188Thinking of attempting some Enclave or BOS EAST action. However if anybody has a better idea for Mutants or Robots I'm totally down to switching it.
>>32406218>Robotsehh, you'd have to convince me to choose hardmode again.I'm wondering how to go about Enclave without ripping off Enclave or /blatantly/ being American. If we could just find a word for a country that rolls off the tongue better.Brotherhood of Steel East would be fun as Zealots maybe.
>>32406138I was messing with an idea for a government remnant. That was formed by a group of friends. One a business owner hoping to be come leader of the city, One a artillery man for the army, and a bandit friend from child hood. Shit went south and they had to grab what they could to find a place to hold up. They grab a few things like a small recycler and some militarily arms.
Rolled 38, 86, 73, 56, 86 = 339>>32406153You may vote for terrain(CHOOSE) and civ type also hero options will be given once choices are done(heroes give special bonuses as well as perspective). A hero be assigned to 1 action per a turn. Also feel free to come up with fluff/ideas including factions/civ types it may even be used and you may get a bonus out of it too boot just make to include it in a vote or plan.>Survivors get a bonus to salvaging and survival actions. >Tribals get bonuses to scouting and Guerrilla warfare. >Think Tank start with a Tech specialty and gain a special unit because of this.>Paramilitary are automatically trained at no charge. >Government Civ may mimic another civs special or have another possibly even create their own with GM permission.>Military civ is poor at Manufacture and Research early game but starts with a fortified base, lots of weaponry, and trained personnel.>Mutants get access to 1 free mutation(make one up) plus a base mutation that ALL mutants have. Base mutation grants great toughness to survive in environments where ordinary humanity would find impossible. Enhanced strength easily allowing you to overpower a ordinary human and mild bonus to agility. Unfortunately they suffer from a severe rep penalty(humies fucking HATE you, bandits don't like you and other mutants are wary) and severe breeding issue. >bandits have the special ability to auto upgrade their forces thanks to their life style(other factions have to spend resources AND a action to do so bandits just do resources) however they are unable to make their own supply(must raid or something) and suffer a reputation penalty. *WARNING* white knight choices will be vetoed you are EVIL, but that doesn't mean you can't be smart/clever about it *WARNING*.>robots cannot produce without resources as they do not breed. Suffer rep penalty but do not suffer the weaknesses of the flesh.>Zealots morale cannot be broken.>Cultists have access to specific secret knowledge
Rolled 45, 97, 83, 63, 31 = 319>>32406290Uh you want to go ADVENTURE mode? I ACTUALLY have something for that bit untested admittedly at least system wise.
>>32406290>One a business owner hoping to be come leader of the city, One a artillery man for the army, and a bandit friend from child hood. Can we call them Moe, Curly, and Larry? I would vote for that in a heartbeat. But hey, that's about as interesting as anything else right now keep workgin at it.
>>32406282>>32406290I personally think BoS East or Enclave styled Government attempt would be fun right now. Although We don't need to be even in America. Give Russia a try, They sound fun as fuck.
Rolled 92, 28, 44, 56, 59 = 279>>32406346Adventure mode by the way starts REALLY small and is much more aligned with a quest then a civ at least in the beginning anyway. Gets you a REAL down to earth view on things.
>>32406419I' prefer civ mode.
Rolled 45, 75, 27, 92, 25 = 264>>32406419hm would allow me to work on more details for a number of things as well...ugh yet more to work on besides damned population and growth mechanics.>>32406442Fair enough I don't mind either way. As it looks like its torn between government remnants or adventure mode.
>>32406489Adventure mode ought to be the Foolish civ, but still.I am inclined for Government remnants, but no idea for what kind.
>>32406489hey OP sense you said we could create our own civi type, Sense we be govie. Can we have access to power armor or some form of base line genetic/machine boost for all?
Rolled 43, 40, 91, 67, 50 = 291>>32406540Foolish civ is too large and was specifically designed to be a civ.>>32406563If you burn your special as a government remnant then yes.
Rolled 88, 14, 42, 19, 93 = 256>>32406604Honestly adventure mode was something i had on the backburner while i tinkered with civ mode. My 'walk in a single person's shoes' was just a tease of that.
>>32406604that's what I was asking, sense I'm in the mood to try to make a Enclave/BoS type thing. However i'm still just tossing ideas here. waiting for others to show up.
Rolled 82, 63, 20, 86, 51 = 302>>32406660Might be better to just create another thread. One thing you need to know anon I am no longer so popular ever since my hiatus and the civ difficulty tends to turn people off as well so that is unlikely.
>>32406660I'd think that since we're already in this thread this is about as much as we're gonna get.We could try making a new thread so it's more obvious we're making a new civ, and get others to possible toss in ideas for our next civ.
>>32406697You still have your loyal ones at least. For all we are worth.
>>32406697Well fuck them, I'm sticking around sense i'm having a hand in this shit. >>32406701Somebody start a new thread. Let's do this. Also I'm a new guy, so your drawing in new ppl for sure.
>Anderson: A man who wanted to make the world a better place. To do that he had to get on top. But soon came to terms with that is easier said than done. But he wouldn't let him self be stopped. Quickly becoming skilled in dealing with others. He learned to adapt to different cultures and philosophy. In trying to be ready for anything he tried picking up on a little of every thing. But jack of all traits is no good for anyone, So he focus. Ended up working on strategy for business and battle. He may not be good at fighting. But he will make sure people have what they need to fight or grow. >Reed aka Mr.Pepper An odd man, needs little but all ways out for more. Bit of a loner but loyal (If he is your friend.). Some could easily say he would fit right in with bandits. He has no problem with taking someone out if they are in his way. But will hold his hand if he views it to be a good idea to wait. Use to working in enemy lines. He will befriend them, Find what they hold dear and crush it. His tactics are best used for single targets. But can work well with a raiding party. >Officer Aladar: One could call him a book worm. Not a group speaker, But great with battle field. Give him some artillery, as well as some mobile troops and he will give you a win. Good tactician and good with supplies. But not the best strategist. Good man at heart, But knows people will need to get their hands dirty to get things done.[By all means if you want to add do so.]
>>32406757It was a good day. Well that is what every one hoped. The city was one of the few still standing. But it was small and in these times who can say how long it can last. After a few bandit raids with mobile bases and a zombie attack. They didn't have much time left.Anderson call his co workers up and got things started to get out. Just happened that Reed stole a few caravans in the confusion with his group. They started loading up all they could. Aladar was on the front lines keeping the cannons going. But they wouldn't last he held with the others as long as the could. Blew up the walls to by time and headed out to meet up with all that remained.[Now to think about the new home base.]
Rolled 81, 10, 72, 48, 2 = 213>>32406738That is true.>>32406748You should of seen the first three civs...ah I don't suggest the third one though...kinda suffered some sanity damage on that one. Is most apparent during the train sequence...While vault 101 broke my setting and bloodsnow my sanity.Dice meanwhile regularly make me weep over the unprecedented with my system. This was especially bad early on but as time wore on has calmed down.
>>32406844eh the Dice gods are usually upset if you don't apply the oils and incants So OP you making a new thread? And I'll be going through them at some point tonight or tomorrow already stashed the achive link.
>>32406844Hey, bloodsnows were fun and the most powerful we've been since Memor. They lived too, a serious achievement in your games.Memor are still and have always been levels above anything else we've done though.
Rolled 31>>32406844I take one little nap and delim goes and Godzilla's the whole damn civ? Fuuuuuu
Rolled 19, 69, 82, 5, 16 = 191>>32406923...THEY CAUSED ME SUCH SANITY DAMAGE A CERTAIN TRAIN HAPPENED.As for the second part vault 101 beat them.>>32406919depending on what is chosen. Wish foolish civ will be done so that way it may die and not just be there...mocking me. At this rate I wont be able to include it with my compilation.
>>32407053Government Remnant, either power armor or machine genetic splicing thing as our thing. Terrain could be city or possible Winter wonder land? Please other anon's help me out here.
>>32407053Nah, the Dice gods won V101. Nobody ever has, nor likely ever will reach the sheer scale of Memor though.Starting with 2000+ pop and ending up near the hundred thousands, 4 fucking actions not including special hero provided actions, fielding equipment and resources that any civ after it could have only dreamed of (we have never ever been at stage where we could mass produce Super Tanks like they could since, and look how much ass kickery ONE Super Tank did in this civ) their sub-factions alone rivals strength of actual factions which have ended some of our civs.
>>32407162>>32407053I mean, we've never even TOUCHED a behemoth, and they built several bemoths all in different flavors (explosive, radiation, bandit, about about 4 others).
Rolled 28>>32407149What do you want help with Area ideas or people?
>>32407227I was hoping they would throw in some ideas with the Civ i'm suggestingAlso that picture is exactly what I thought they should look like in armor, and that being the weather.
>>32407272>>32407149Well, we know of several Winter Wonderlands in the setting already. There's Mysterious Island, aka Bloodsnow Island. It's pretty big, not even they fully explored it. We could possibly be some sort of expedition or simply waking up from cryosleep. There's also the outside of Mine Mountain, surrounded by a sea of pebbles and thin ice leading to caverns which could swallow ships whole. There's the Parcathian Mountain Range, the Parcathian Ice Pass, the homeland of the Red Army (where the bear cavalry roam).
Rolled 4, 47, 60, 62, 90 = 263>>32407053Anyway wasn't someone else gonna make the thread? All of info is here and the rest is archived.>>32407162Ah yes...well the memor was my first time I was a massive fucking newb and I sorta did have to do some pandering...
>>32407425Oh, wait, you want someone else to make the thread?I suppose so. I'll just copy paste what's here right?
>>32407475Post the link here once you set it up.
Rolled 40, 12, 23, 79, 57 = 211>>32407425Ah if you want to know what the secret of Memor success was its thiswasteland mutants. Your best part to repeat the experience without relying upon rolls.>>32407475Or something like that. Looks like people want new civ instead of going FOOLS.>>32407365Red army is north of that. Basically that range makes up most of their southern border. They live in a mostly cold and hard land.
Rolled 64>>32407524How close were we to finding the hidden heroes this time around?
>>32407524>>32407365I'll vote for cryosleep inside a mountain range.
>>32407524Jungle wasn't a wasteland though. But yeah, I would say that Splicer were well on their way to becoming the next Memor, if they only had a hivemind though and didn't explode so dramatically as like today.Anyway, making new thread.
Rolled 76>>32407272Going with Government Bunker. I got this pic as well. I guess we could get some glad lines out. Like no slaves and the like.
Rolled 83, 22, 97, 94, 13 = 309>>32407548Much closer.>>32407607Wasteland definition in this setting is a bit different. Basically what I meant was that the terrain was incredibly hostile and the civ was situated in such a way as to take complete advantage of that. Which they did admittedly to a degree.Wastelands in this setting is wherever the Fall held out the longest. Its effects so devastating that they are STILL apparent...and for the most part its the only place where you can still find stuff relating to it. Everywhere else was much better at recovering from the damage but the wastelands were not so lucky they were either hit the hardest or the longest. You have wastelands in space, water, underground, surface, and even air. All are noted for two things.Number 1 the Fall either hit that area the hardest or longestNumber 2 Fall still slumbers there thanks to that.Terrain wise Fall areas vary greatly the Memor turf was very nearly counted as such hostility wise, but alas it didn't harbor any fall relics...doesn't mean though it has something worse or could even compare.Wastelands serve as a remembrance to the Fall a pale comparison to hint at what it was actually like.
>>32407768>Which they did admittedly to a degree.Really? I don't remember Memor ever using the terrain to their advantage, they were always trying to chop down the forrest to make more biofuel or at best send hordes of ghouls at people. In our complete newbness and stupidity, did we really use the terrain better than all the following civs we tried so hard to get in touch with our surroundings? The Memor are not known for their competence, and yet they are known for being incredulously powerful.I guess with great power comes great irresponsibility.
Rolled 76, 83, 67, 96, 17 = 339>>32407768Any questions? Considering how I do that every civ.And remember a wasteland is a different place. What we would think of as wasteland would be more akin to a a desert wasteland but there are so many kinds. From molten pits of steam erupting deep underwater under wrecks of ancient structures, to a giant battlefield of bundled up warped space ships, to a series of floating islands pulsating in energy, a great cavern of spectrum veins and colors overgrown in brilliant fungi, and even a sole object of broken dreams, warped weaponry, abolished armaments, and twisted earth over a vast empty plain with it being the sole exception.Wastelands are without fail fucked up places hostile to all but mutants who being twisted and warped consider it home. Even the mighty bots can merely endure and with difficulty at that. While its POSSIBLE to visit but it must be brief and will require great assistance/power in order to risk it.
Rolled 47, 63, 67, 76, 21 = 274>>32407907The terrain hampered their enemies a lot more then it did them.Let me put it this way the terrain fucked with others is a pale comparison with how wastelands fucks with others to give you an idea.
>>32407913I suppose in that case there is a wasteland we've mentioned but haven't visited yet.>"there's also this one place we heard of, something about some corporation or another trying to manipulate the weather and plant life ages ago.It worked, too well in fact, but they seem to have been unable to shut it down before the fall. You've got pockets of hot summer grasslands with sunny skies or torrents of rain, pockets of lush spring fields and red autumn forests, all interspersed between the some of the coldest blizzards on the planet or pristine winter wonderlands. The blizzards act like a curtain, cutting off view between the meteorological biomes and acting like the perfect hiding spot. Most of these places are static and haven't changed since. Other rare areas are known to experience all kinds of weather in no particular order or rhyme. Summer for years on end, interrupted by a month of winter. Some have spring one day, fall tommorow, summer the day after, followed by winter all in the same week.">>32407944If only that were true for V101 though, you said they were in a jungle that rivaled Memor's but they still were forced to bail...
>>32407991question are we moving to the new thread or...?
>>32408027Oh, right. We are, just making conversation in the old one. It's a good opportunity for us to ask questions about the stuff we might have missed in the civ after we're dead, for curiosities sake
Rolled 84, 52, 96, 33, 17 = 282>>32408027I am answering questions in this thread as is tradition.>>32407991Nah more like climate control/manipulation gone wrong. You should of seen what happened with rogue terraformers...and even those were most likely not consider Fall.Possible though but it would be much more extreme and the 'safe' areas much much rarer. More along the lines of it bordering a wasteland.
>>32408048alright, I already posted my idea in the new one. Was just wondering If we stayed. So I have a question then, What is this based on anyway? I would enjoy to read and find out.>>32408073sorry new guy.
>>32408089Mostly the fallout series, but with elements of a great many other things we've added over the civs to give it it's own flavor. To really read and find out is to experience or read the archives themselves
Rolled 75, 42, 58, 36, 47 = 258>>32408089Its alright for you see once a civ ends I will answer questions relating to the civ and even the setting at large. However this is the ONLY time I will do so and will be blunt/clear about it. In game wise its much more limited.
>>32408132Oh, Alrighty then. That's why I was able to latch on so quickly. Large fan of the series.>>32408136So what is your favt group to work with? Mutants, Robots, Humans...zombies?
>>32408136But it's not fair Genie, I'm so tired and bummed out. By tommorow I'll probably have questions...Alright, hows about telling us what happened to missing officers? Surprisingly, they were the lucky ones to end up alive.
Rolled 45>>32408210Most died but a few made it out alive but were sorta separated/otherwise occupied. They were gonna come back eventually.>>32408174None really. Though I DO have one I hate the most which are brood. Good god are those fuckers complicated as hell. Ever since the first civ i have avoided using them.>>32408132Fallout is but one of many i take stuff from all sorts of place. Fallout did give me the rad ghoul idea but I ended up tinkering with it so much so that the only connection between the two at this point is radiation.
>>32408174He really likes low-tech humans like tribals or survivors.Or so he says.
Rolled 19, 24, 43, 23, 74 = 183>>32409548I don't have any favorites I only said something like that because they tended to get ignored.
