PREVIOUS THREADS: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?searchall=Magical+Girl+Libertyhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5I_74MVsP0IThe year is 1938. The Great War has long past and now is the time for innovation, exploration and adventure.Throughout the world, airships are now common sights, airplanes have become the flying car, and high speed trains rule the transportation industry. Men and women of derring-do travel the world in search of ancient artifacts and long-thought extinct animals. Technology becomes almost indistinguishable from the magic that exists in the world. But not all is right. In the ruins of post-war Germany, a new power rises led under the banner of Adolf Hitler, threatening to destroy the balance of the world. To the far east, Imperial Japan expands and slaughters its way through China. Air pirates dominate the skies and prey upon the lifeblood which now flows through the air. The occult and the mysterious strike terror and fear into the hearts of many. That’s where you come in.The Magical Girls come from a mysterious background, nobody knows where they come from or who they are. All that’s known is that they are powerful beings brimming with magic. You are Magical Girl Liberty, fifteen year old Christine “Chris” Hunter. The World of Tomorrow needs a new kind of hero.
>>30936535> SEPTEMBER 20, 1938 <> SOMEWHERE IN EGYPT <“… and these are my… daughters,” says your mother, Carol Hunter.Mom has enlisted the aide of a fellow archaeologist and treasure, an Irishman posing as a Kurdish merchant under the name of Ali el Ghazi, or as Mom called him “Mister O’Donnell.” Along with him, he assembled a group of about seven Egyptian porters, all of them looking rather untrustworthy.Mr. O’Donnell rubbed his long beard, pensive. In his fake Kurdish accent, he said, “Funny that you have a Japanese Girl as daughter.”Sumire Kawanish AKA Magical Girl Lightning says, “I was adopted.”You’re all marching along the wet and damp shallows of the Nile River. For the past few hours as you walked, Mr. Donnell has been grilling Mom for answers. Mom, for the most part, has only said that she’s looking for a particular tomb. What she’s not saying is that this tomb is the final resting place for the only other copy of the Shepherd’s Journal, AKA, the map to Atlantis. As she said when you were going over it with her last night aboard the Sparrow, “An old Egyptian king, his name doesn’t matter, he acquired the Shepherd’s Journal and had it copied down. This copy ended up getting buried with him. So we go in, grab it, we’re done.”Mom always had that habit of making things sound easy. For now though, you, Mom, Rana Scott AKA Magical Girl Bomber, Sumire, Mr. O’Donnell, and the porters simply marched. The Sparrow was docked back in town dozens of miles away with Jeanine and Anneliese.“Let’s take a break,” says Mr. O’Donnell, stopping. “I’m parched.” He unclips his canteen from his belt and hands it to you. “Miss Hunter, would you mind grabbing some water for me and the porters from the river?”> “Sure.”> “Can’t you get your own water?”> Other

You take a quick sip. Cool and fresh, perfect drinking water. You start filling up the canteens one by one.The river flows on for miles, right out into the Mediterranean. You’re not entirely sure how far you are from the sea, but judging by how wide the river is now, could be a country away for all you know.Your ears perk at the cocking of a revolver, right behind your head.“Hands up. Stand, slowly,” says one of your distrustful porters. You put your hands up slowly, then stand up. “Turn around.”You face him, and he glares at you, keeping his revolver pointed right between your eyes. You glare back at him. You can never trust a darn porter these days. He gestures for you to march. And you do, right past him.You turn back to glare at him some more, only to see something rising out of the water, creeping up on him.“Look out!” you yell. He turns back, only to get snapped into the jaws of a Giant Nile Crocodile. He screams in pain as the Croc whips him back in forth in his mouth, then tosses his into the river. The porters grab their guns, shotguns, pistols, and Tommy guns, and fire at the Croc before it snaps at you with its powerful jaws. The bullets spark and shatter on the Croc’s powerful armor as it turns towards them.Mr. O’Donnell says, “That’s no ordinary crocodile!”You yell, “Really! I hadn’t noticed!”The Croc charges at the porters, like Lightning and it snaps another porter into his jaws. The porter screams bloodily as he fires his gun into the air, useless. The Croc tightens his jaw, the porter going limp as his spine is shattered, then tosses the body right into a nearby rock. The remaining porters all scream in Egyptian as they run away, dropping their guns.“Cowards!” yells Mr. O’Donnell.Sumire yells, “Finally! Magical Girls are possibly as old as human civilization, from the Ancient Babylonians and the Sumerians, to as far east as the Japanese shogunates and the Native American tribes.”Mom says, “I don’t want to draw unnecessary attention to ourselves. We’re already competing with Hitler for the book.”“Ah yes, the Scrolls of Aziz.” Mr. O’Donnell grins, walking next to you as he explains it like he would a child asking why the sky is blue. “You see, Aziz was a nomadic shepherd, when a fissure opened up in the world and he was cast into it. And in that fissure he found the ancient city of Atlantis!”Rana asks, “What’s so special about the city of Atlantis?”“Oh, much!” says Mr. O’Donnell. “They had medicine so advanced so as to regenerate even the most grievous of wounds. They had flying machines before man even thought about flying. And an infinite energy source to make all of this possible. That was the magic and the allure of the Lost Empire.”
>>30938356You say, “Ever read about it, Rana?”Rana nods. “I’ve heard stories, I always thought it was just a myth.”“Ah, myths are just history waiting to be uncovered,” says Mr. O’Donnell. You smile at that. It’s way better than how Mom would explain it.After a decent walk along the river, you stop to see a huge stone structure, jutting out of a hill across the river, masked by tall trees and moss. “There!” says Mom. “That must be it.”Between you and it however is a huge river, probably filled with crocodiles.> Try and ford the river> Look for a crossing downstream> Wait for Mom and Mr. O’Donnell to make a decision> Other

Rana asks Mr. O’Donnell. “How do you know Chris’ mom?”Mr. O’Donnell says, “We were competitors in college. Always competing to get the best relics for the museum, always competing for the best grades. Of course I left the states, headed out for Afghanistan to hunt for treasure on my own, and your mother of course tried settling down-““Let’s not discuss this,” says Mom. “You know what happened.”“Of course,” says Mr. O’Donnell. With that, you find a rickety little rope bridge with aged rotting planks for steps stretching across the river. “Ah, so this is our crossing,” says Lightning.Mr. O’Donnell leads you all across the bridge slowly, carefully stepping on each plank as the rushing river roars only a foot beneath you. You tread lightly, being the last in the pack. The wood creaks and groans beneath you. Finally, Mr. O’Donnell finds dry land, then Rana, then Mom, then Lightning. You’re a few planks from stepping off, then the rope snaps, sending the bridge and you into the drink.“Liberty!” yells Lightning. You grab onto a rope, the river arguing with that by pushing and shoving against you as you struggle to breathe and hold on. The current has pushed you towards the center of the river, almost away from everyone.O’Donnell grabs a nearby vine and ties it around a rock, then grips it and starts wading into the water, fighting the current. He requests a light, and Rana responds by whispering into her hand, and then projecting an intense magical lamp to light the darkness. “Thank you,” says Mr. O’Donnell to Rana, smiling. Rana beams as she holds her hand up.The Tomb walls are plain stone. Not the hieroglyphic covered pyramid ancients you were expecting. Moss, grime, and dust sits everywhere as you walk through. Finally, you hit an open entryway. Rana lights up the glyphs inscribed above it.Mr. O’Donnell translates it as, “Turn back, or face my guards.”Rana blinks, concerned. “Guards?”Mom shrugs. “Probably just traps. Hell, more likely it’s just a way of warning off graverobbers. Obviously doesn’t seem to have worked considering how easily we got in here.”“Now, now,” says Mr. O’Donnell. “We are only at the entrance. Who knows what mysteries lie in the Unknown Pharoah’s tomb.”With that, all of you walk through. Rana’s light blasts the darkness as you walk through the lonely halls of the tomb. No gold, no inscriptions, not even a graverobber’s corpse. It’s strange, almost unsettling even, especially once you start descending down a steady flight of stairs downwards.
>>30939504Mr. O’Donnell stops, causing you all to pause. “What is it?” asks Mom.He points down to the ground, what appears to be a loose brick. Lightning walks up and then taps it with the bottom of her naginata. Out of the wall, a line of spikes shoots out, almost skewering you all, a skeleton hangs, impaled.Mr. O’Donnell narrows his eyes. “My goodness. This is Bilal.”“Bilal?” asks Rana.“Rival treasure hunter,” he says. “Very good. Bit of an idiot.” The spikes withdraw back into the wall, taking Bilal’s remains with them. You sidestep around the loose bricks as you continue onwards. Finally, you reach a huge room. In the walls are many different holes, man-sized. Almost like the inside of a beehive. At the other end of the room lies a huge golden door, sparkling against Rana’s light. Discarded guns and weapons lie across the floor.“I’ve got a bad feeling about this,” says Mom.Lightning examines one of the holes, pulling a nice gold cup. “What are you talking about?”Mom yells, “I thought I said not to touch anything you idiot Jap!”You say, “Hey, she’s my friend! Lightning hops and catches it. “Yoink!”The other three Nazi girls yell to pursue you as run into the room. All of you start running and running, passing by shocked and confused Magisch Korps troopers as you make a break for the exit. You finally reach the open air of the Nile River, only to see the Kleine Fraulein materialize in the air above you, and then open its cargo bay doors. “Look out!” yells Mom as a huge package drops. > Hijack the Tank (99)You rush at the tank, shields brought to bear against their fire. Their energy cannon depresses to face you, then fires, a huge glob of energy flying at you. It splashes over your shield and burns the grass and ground around you.A Storm Elite rushes at you, you kneecap him then uppercut, sending him flying. Another comes along, but is swiftly decapitated by Lightning. You hop up onto the front of the tank, the Commander is turned out of the cupola. He cocks his pistol and tries to take a potshot and misses. You grab him by the neck and toss him into the river. The Crocodiles immediately feast on him.Bomber hops in before you, and you hear the faint sound of gunfire and Nazis screaming. She pokes her head out of one of the side turret hatches. “We’re good! Hop in!”You hop into the Commander’s seat, Bomber taking gunner while Mom sits in the Radio and Lightning takes the driver’s seat. “Lightning, you know how to drive?”“How hard could it be?” she yells. You shut the cupola hatch down and lock it, then look through the slits. The Nazis are exiting the entrance. You see the Four along with Mr. O’Donnell running out. Start suppressing!”The tank orients towards the entrance, then turns its turret at the group of Nazis. The Storm Ace, O’Donnell and the Four Nazis run while the Gegemagischtruppen stand their ground. They fire their weapons at you, their bullets plinking harmlessly off your hull.“Prepare to fire!” you yell.Bomber says, “Target sighted!”“Fire!” you yell.Smoke jets into the turret as the gun fires. The Magic troopers are disintegrated in the blue fiery explosion, along with blowing the entrance into nothing but a pile of rubble. “Wooo!” yells Lightning. “We’re Tank Aces now, girls!”You look through the hatch slits. > Shake him off! (87)“Lightning! Shake this guy off!” you yell as he starts pulling you. You slam into the side of the turret, spreading your arms to keep yourself in.Lightning yells, “We’re in a tank! What do you want me to do? Travel backwards in time before he punched a hole in the tank!?”Okay, that’s actually a good point. “Bomber! Traverse the turret!”Bomber starts spinning the horizontal turret drive. The turret starts spinning to the left as Lightning begins reversing away. You yell in pain as the Storm Ace tries for a better grip on your hair. You fruitlessly try punching him in the wrist. Then the Storm Ace’s grip starts tightening as he falls off the tank’s side.“I got an idea!” yells Lightning. She begins back the tank up into the river. You can feel the water splash over the engine block.“What are you doing!?” yells Mom.“… I said I had an idea not that I had a plan!” yells Lightning back. The Storm Ace’s grip suddenly disappears as he lets go and withdraws his arm from the hole.Phew. That was close. Then he punches a hole into the top of the turret. He grips onto the hole’s edge then rips the roof open, turning your tank into an open-top assault gun of sorts. The tank is now fording the river in reverse.“I don’t care where, just drive!” you yell. The Storm Ace punches your shield, creating a serious imprint of his fist into it. He grips the rim and throws it aside, exposing you. You try to throw your shield, only for him to grab you by the neck and toss you onto the engine block. He raises his machete for a swing.“Hey! Tough guy!” He looks back to see Bomber with an M2 Browning mounted on the turret. “Eat this!”He gets a chestful of magical lead, only being pushed back slightly.
