>>30915760Converesly you also have the option of Spending a few points to change a word.Childhood Trauma has been suggested to change to Childhood Trauma Grounding or Childhood Trauma Toughening or Grounded by Childhood Trauma. Examples would be lowering your Trust Fund die to create a die representing a large purchase or significant monetary investment. Points left over from reduction disappear after the vote is over. So, 45 minutes on the clock. To answer these questions>How do you want to spend, if at all, your current points.>New Die? I'm all for 'Sanity is not overrated'. Seriously, keeping our head intact is pretty important. We can already fly and we have some bitchin' strength. Let's not become too obsessed.
Ok, so out of all of those, Childhood Trauma Toughening looks to be the best in terms of keeping us sane cost efficiently. I'll probably be voting for that unless another anon has a better idea. Also, some anons suggested putting other points into muscles last thread. I am heavily in support of this. In particular, if we could have an organic equivalent of carbon fibers for muscle it would be pretty fantastic. Of course, we want to have tough skin and bones too, so maybe we can combine all these into something like Godly Body?
>>3091577635 Minutes Remaining...I will do this every ten or so minutes.
>>30915776Sanity is not overrated sounds solid, and I would vote yes for grounded by childhood trauma
>>30915874>>30915844I'd like to vote for both of these sanity savers, but I'd also like to put points into our Electro-Gravitics

>>30916006I kinda want to ease into the god stuffwe're already moving really fast
>>30916066Yeah normally feel similar, but there's just that whole crashing airliner thing going on..
>>30916066Hence why we want to do the sanity savers. Those are the important things, but the idea of Electro-Gravitics is mostly because there's a plane going down, so it'd be nice to have that if possible. Sanity's still top rated.
>>30915776Alright, fuck it, let's double-down on being sane.Grounded by Childhood TraumaSanity is Not OverratedImagine we'll end up using the remaining points on bonuses while playing catch with an aircraft.
>>30915776Spend:Grounded by Childhood TraumaSanity is not overratedThat's 5 points spent.

1 of 2The plane careening above has four engines, one of which is on fire. With a sudden red and orange gout, you can see the engine explode, causing the airline to veer into a slow spin. You highly doubt it’s ability to make it to Haneda or Narita International Airport...if those were even it’s destination. At present you are standing in an often unused park reservoir in the middle of an empty weekday afternoon. Here you had been testing the strange powers your had awoken to after your brush with death; standing over ten feet tall you are covered in a shifting black & red slick of a second skin. Your altered body possess a lean and cut musculature with a wingspan some forty feet across and acting as focusing arrays for your innate ability to manipulate electromagnetic and local gravitational forces to allow yourself flight.Since your accident, you have been growing into long envied and wanted aspects of your adulthood that had long been denied you by childhood injury. Even the prospect of being beautiful like your mother was. However, that accident also left you something other than human. Something that a moment ago thought with glee as it sliced its claws through the earth’s mantle while closing it’s hand around the blue world. You beat back those thoughts, they weren’t you. They weren’t Tsubasa. You won’t let them be.
>>309167432 of 3Down here, you feel every bit a monster from the things you entertained before the memory of the horrid day that your world was destroyed pulled you back.Up there, people are in danger and no earthly force you can think of could ensure the safety of the oncoming crash. A momentary thought enters your imagination of a little girl strapped into her seat as the decompression masks fall, the pencils and loose chocolates rising around her as gravity works its course. A mother throwing herself over the child and holding her close, trying to shield her, lying that everything will be alright. You’ve mere moments to decide.>Try to save the plane! >>30916780Save the plane. Doesn't matter if we're seen
>>30916667Yeah, but we need something to tie us back to humanity, ultimately, more than we need to be tough.
>>30916780>Try to save the plane! Like the Emergency Shut down, just GO! How?Im seeing 2 ways to go about this - We either grab a wing and try to balance out the plane that way, or see if we can use our electromagnetic powers to fly it ourselves.i'm not sure if the second is possible with what we have.

>>30916780>How?Figuring we grab the wing from underneath the blown engine (where hopefully the smoke will mask our presence), and try to balance it out with our electro-gravitic abilities.Once the plane is looking safe, we try to use our ability to mask us from radar, sight too if we thing we can get gravitic enough to bend light, break away.

A quietly humming rocket, your are a dark blur leaving arcs of red lightening in its wake. You can't fly directly into the spinning her, so you overshoot. Falling, at an accelerated rate, along the smoke trail, you land upon the burning wreckage of the engine and lay palm and foot flat. The red and black tightens and adheres to the surface as you extend your wings and fold them back. Defying gravity you create a well above your wings that draws the wing up relative to your position as the magnetic levitational forces push and pull down. You can see the ruined mechanism of the foil and are aware of the tail behind you, manipulating both components of your flight and then alleviating the weight of the vehicle with your own strength and giant's leverage to match the intent of the pilots. Every so often you think a stunned face catches sight of you or your outline in the belching smoke. It's a strain to do all of this for the time it takes to correct their course. They're too low to attempt to clear the city and are loosing leaking fuel to quickly to sustain a climb, but flying toward the open space beyond the suburbs they make what would have otherwise been an impossible crash landing on a hillside field. The landing softened by your power, leaving a great gouge in the earth, the crew and passengers begin using the emergency slide as you race back through the dissipating smoke trail as sirens begin to converge. Beneath your path of exit you see the broken bits of landing gear and underside paneling. If you hadn't intervened, no one would have survived in the plane and it would have landed in the suburbs. That done, you fly onward making a clean break. You find a comfortable pace and altitude while stretching your wingspan that people might mistake your form for a bird.

You bank toward the shore. It'll take less time than going home and you're curious. You have a certain fondness for sushi, and you are confident that with fingers that can casually dig into solid stone that fish bones won't pose a problem to you.Hitting the water with a smooth and athletic, though giant, profile you dice deep. The water flowing around you feels immediately invigorating, more so than basking in the sun. Could your body be filtering minerals, radiation, or microbes from the water? Not important, because despite the boost in energy you still hunger.Spreading you wings wide, you unleash a subtle pulsing of electro magnetism, and feel the fields of nearby schools in the water. Willing yourself to drift to the largest, you are amazed by their dance in the filtering and rippling columns of light from above in the endless blue ahead, dark below.Spending a few moments to experimenting with frequencies and intensity of charges and fields, you develop an understanding to how they react and follow the current. Letting slip a smug, literally, predatory, grin you set about sated your need for more sustenance than a person should consume in a month. Guiding then around you in a tornado of fins, you start grabbing them at your leisure. The first few you bite and chew with care and slow at first tentative care, then exuberant enjoyment before licking your lips clean if the blood in the water and just opening wide.
>>30920422Guiding them to you, you bite at, grab and gulp them down in a joyous and pleasing frenzy. More than just eating a warm meal at home, the moment of violence adds to the flavor. It is a primal experience which you revel in, humans are in fact apex predators when they have tools and time.Man hunted great beasts slowly tracking them and not letting them rest until they died of exhaustion. Your patience isn't quite do great, but the tools born of your transformation are unmatched on earth now and one day will rival heaven.Wait, calm. There you go again. No, maybe if earthly science were responsible for your change then your tool will be a testament to humanity as it comes to rival heaven...later.The school is eventually exhausted, and you take a deep sucking swallow on the surrounding water to nab the bits and blood you missed. Laying your hands on your stomach contentedly and are surprised. Your earlier meals hadn't done this, but you suppose that consuming six times your body weight would give you a noticeably distended stomach.
>>30920442Idly you wonder what you'll do with all of it, for now it's just a rock solid mound sticking a good six inches out...wait...that isn't right. Your giant now, doubled in stature and dimension...that should actually be about a foot. Still, you make it look small by already being big.You hug it with your muscular arms and wonder. How quickly will this become new bone, muscle, and height? Your meals in the past few days cured you of your emaciated state, and lunch today gave you the barest beginnings of a figure. This much raw material to work with while suffused with the power of the sun and having cleansed a tiny few drops of ocean from radioactive contamination...how quickly will you grow? Your heart quicken in giddy excitement. You, Tsubasa, are going to be big. Not just when clad in the red and black, you are going to keep growing in some fashion. Right now, you imagine just how far you might be able to take this before people notice something is entirely unnatural. Six feat, seven, maybe eight? What then? Muscle enough to lift a pickup truck unenhanced? A plush chest and bottom that would make Hanako's assets appear minuscule by comparison. You could fight. >>30923817Well that's also a possibility, but we would need a way to keep a portion of our strength if that was the case. It also depends on how much energy each one takes.Really it comes down to "do we want to only be an amazon sometimes" or "do we want to be an amazon all the time". From there we can decide whether a 'perception field' effect or cosmetic shapeshifting would be more prudent.
>>30923860Couldn't we also use a perception field to make a 'not my problem' field, and essentially get a form of cloaking?
>>30923900Perfectly Normal is like that already, in theory. We haven't played with it much, outside of it likely playing a role in the doctors making less of a fuss about our condition.
>>30923900Well the issue there is 'not my problem' implies more of making a field that people ignore you. 'Everything is perfectly normal' makes people think that slowly turning into an amazon is somehow natural. You know, despite human science screaming the opposite thing.Right now with this future radiation bath we're probably going to get, we've gotten a LOT of power really quickly. Keeping a lid on things socially will help stall any shit that may go down, and causing a field that would diminish average social contact might hinder us.
Pretty soon my honesty is going to kick in and point out that we could only afford the first 1d4 when we got Everything is Perfectly Normal.. sadly the character sheet might be being erroneously generous with that 1d6, unless Gyoji slipped us a bonus.
>>30924092Huh, would you look at that. Well, as has been proven previously, my mistake is the player's continued benefit.Thank you for pointing that out to me.
>>30923964>>30923992Figure we get that up high enough, eventually we could be banging schoolgirls outside a police station and not raise much attention.Or battle lovecraftian horrors without breaking the minds of everyone around us.Or both at the same time, but I don't think we can have a 1d30..
>>30924136You're welcome.Bit ashamed it took me this long to say it though.
>>30924234Yeeaaaah, one thing at a time.Let's not be punching above our weight limit yet. But if we have 'Perfectly normal' already, no harm in buffing it.
After a moment of deep thought your finger and placing it on your lip, you peel back into another smile and prepare to drop your field and bite the digit, inciting the ever swimming beasts to come at you in a frenzy that you may revel in a meal and hunt truly earned; but you pause. You’ve always wanted to be strong and fight, though as full and bloated as your gut is now you think better of it and allow the mindless killing machines to never know they almost met their better. You drop deeper into the blue and let your field dissipate. On the currents you feel the distant call of a tainted place far to the north, the reactor most likely...but there is something closer. Here in the deep dark there is something else. Something older. You drift down and eventually need to shed a soft light as darkness and pressure overtake you. The crushing pressure of the deep feels too much compared to the empty freedom of space. Your senses indicate that it might not be safe to continue down....but there is something there, something delicious. Even here you can soak up it’s ambient energies...they aren’t radiation as you know it. Something broadcasting a signal that should be invisible. It’s a short range signal, you wouldn’t have noticed it if you hadn’t dived into the bay. All you know is that it exists...and that it has existed for a long time. And as delicious as you imagine the source is...you feel an all too human fear of what lurks beyond in the deep. That knowledge of fear, the fear of something other than what you might be capable of, is oddly comforting. Spreading your wings, you soak up and try to remember the signal. It is energizing, that power carries you with all speed back to the surface, breaking the fading orange barrier of the deep back into the world of air and earth.Sunset. Your feast and hunt took a long time. Its strange how calm and at home you felt in the deep. Though it was the opposite of the endless void above, it reminded you of the time you spent in space while you were dying. Easily, you fly back to the reservoir using the bird trick you implemented earlier. Setting down on solid ground you gather your clothing and let the red and black recede, and with it the enhanced musculature and stature you had granted yourself. It doesn’t hurt going back in as much as it had going out. Your hyper self awareness fading, the last thing you notice as you return to your baseline height is that you’ve grown another inch. As the red entirely recedes you lurch forward, unbalanced by the lingering effects of your meal upon your center of gravity. The taught and drum like dome extends just shy of two feet ahead of you.Laying your hands upon it gently, it feels...warm. It feels like a promise. You would joke about looking pregnant but in a way this is a symbol of a birth, your own rebirth. A promise that you’ll be closer to the you that you’ve always wanted to be, tomorrow.
>>30926409The already tight shirt rides up, and is tight on your perky and sensitive chest. The slim cut pants you normally wear are tight on your unrelenting and hips and thighs. Though only a bit thicker than they had been, they are firm and unyielding to the pressure. As you finally pull them up, they split along the outside and inside seam of the leg. You would much rather wait this out at home than in the basin, so despite the risks of being seen you make your way back to your apartment. You’ll do your grocery shopping online when you get home, no use going to the market when you’ve very little to wear. Somehow, the few people who spot you on your way home don’t comment or even look at your ridiculous appearance.Home and safe, you strip and inspect yourself. Trying to clean yourself up is a chore, the gargantuan orb in front of you make navigating your shower a nigh impossible task. Drying and appreciating each little change on your body, you slip into a pair of black cotton panties and a gray thick sports bra you’d kept around forever on the off chance you needed to wear it if it was too cold. You may not have had any breasts to speak of before, but in the winter you needed to be sure no one noticed if your chest reacted to the season’s chill. Both garments are too tight, and your stomach is still hot. You place an expansive and expensive order for delivery tomorrow in the morning in the late afternoon, figuring you’ll be back from your shopping expedition by then.Climbing the ladder to your loft bed alcove over the entrance hallway of your apartment proves difficult with your radiant but cumbersome gut, but you make due and eventually curl around it in sleep. Dreaming of all the things it could make grow.

You fail to sent out cogent words, but your intent was at first for the banging to go away, then promising that you just needed five more minutes, until the last unintelligible bit comes out in a low moan. The banging stops for a few seconds. There is a distinct click as your door then opens.“I used your hidden key,” calls an annoyed Hanako, “You really should hide things better. Now where are yo-”“BLARGH!”“Well that settles that,” she pulls your ladder up from where it had been knocked off the hook and onto the floor. Setting the tool right and securing it, she ascends.“I cleaned up here for you while you were in the hospital, I can’t believe you’ve demolished this much,” she comments on your mess, “Then again, you are a growing girl,” she laughs. She’s probably at the mouth of the alcove now.“You know, even though this is a late puberty, you should take better care of yourself than just shoveling in whatever you fancy,” she sighs shaking her head, “What am I going to do with you. >>30927523Density will increase weight, though.Instead of density, wouldn't it be better to change the molecular structure to use nanotubes?

We probably need to condense some of this growth into something other then size, growing this rapidly is going to turn heads no matter what.
This is actually really scary. It's fine if Everything is Perfectly Normal stops Hanako from freaking out, but it working on Tsubasa as well could mean things for the future.
So New things? Pretty Androgynous reduced 1 die. 6 pts gained making Bank 11?Molecularly Optimized Musculoskeletal Structure for 1d4 (4pts) or 1d6 (10pts total)Atomic Phoenix remains on table for 1d4 (4pts)And all previously suggested powers.Do you want to select a word to Chang somewhere among your powers or skills with that 1 point if you go the first suggested route or leave it in the bank?Vote on, for an unspecified long while.
>>30930467I've got a radically different plan:Bank: 5Completely remove Pretty Andogynous (+10)Upgrade Everything is Perfectly Normal to 1d8 (-8)Change Everything is Perfectly Normal to "Everything is Perfectly Normal to people I'm not yet comfortable confiding in." (-1 to 3)Change "My parents are dead but they left me a trust fund" to "My parents are missing but they left me a trust fund" (-1)Total: 3-5
>>30930628You can only lower a die by one step per end of thread or noted time skip.
>>30930467How about an ability like "Universal Cheat Code"?You find that random events occur around you that seem to benefit you. You're more likely to win raffles.Stocks you invest in are more likely to do well over time.Enemies are more likely to fail. >>30930962When wasn't it? Have you tried to suprrss it yet?No ability is set in stone, it's a die you can roll that affects variable flavor text and how you interact with the worldsTLDR you already can exert control over Etipf

>>30931085They aren't missing though? They died in a horrible car crash, which we were in. I'm not sure e changing words rewrites the past
>>30931157 No, but if you so choose to pursue such a change to your backgrounds you can reveal something you didn't know. That your parents are dead is something you've believed for a long time...but you don't remember much of impact, and you were out for a month while in and out of ICU and other stages of care. It's already been established as here say. A nice thing about the system is what it can do with a bit of narrative control in player hands. On Mighty Thews proper, while not designed to advance characters the way I've done here, is a fun quick play indie game that I suggest people check out for a bit of semi free form fun.
>>30930923How about calling it "Probablity Quake" or something like that then. It actually adds a more visual perspective to it. You send out undetectable waves that alter probablity in your favor. It would probably be a passive most of the time, but we might be able to learn how to control it.
Notation for anyone who cares, if you read Teppuu, 2 chapters came out while we weren't looking. If you don't, and you are in this tread, go did it. It is Traumatized Sadistic Fit Girl MMA fight the comic. Go, I'll be here when you get back.
Yo why do we want to upgrade or change everything is perfectly normal? It's fine as it is, that's a waste of points.Pretty Androgynous reduced 1 die. 6 pts gained making Bank 11Molecularly Optimized Musculoskeletal Structure for 1d6 (10pts total)That is perfect.
I feel like I wanna veto rewriting our past - we've got plenty of plot threads already, we don't need to make any more just yet
