You toss a box aside, spilling its contents across the floor. Even though "antiques" is written on the side of the container, only piles of rocks tumble across your attic. Nothing here. You turn your eyes to another and read its label. "Legal", huh?You tear open the box and scatter the paperwork inside as you frantically look through every document. Frustrated, you throw the sheets to the ground and look around your cluttered attic. A single, seemingly ancient light-bulb swings from the ceiling, lighting the space with a dull yellow glow. The bare wood, covered with dust, is lined with shelves upon shelves, each with smaller storage containers upon them. Boxes are piled waist high in the corners of the room, all of them shoved aside in your search. In the middle of the room, stones, bricks, piles of blank papers and empty envelopes litter the floor. The attic is supposed to have all of your parents old things, right? So why? Why are all these papers blank? No matter what the box is labelled as, there's nothing but weights inside. The photo albums you grabbed off the shelves are either totally blank or filled with nothing but stock pictures. The trophy case is full of nothing but cheap paperweights. The only things of value here are your own belongings, all of which you remember moving up here during middle school. This doesn't make any sense. You rushed home after seeing that bizarre welfare check the UGN wrote for you and you alone. Claire, the watchdog sent to monitor you, refused to answer any questions about the meaning of those checks. You don't need to get any checks from the government, right? Your parents are both alive and working, right? You get money from them every month, after all. So where is their stuff? Just because they work most of the time doesn't mean they don't have anything here. This is still their home. But...
>>30719505Their room is empty. This attic has nothing of theirs. You don't have a single photograph of them. Hell, you don't have a single photograph in this entire household. The only place left that would have something, anything to put your mind at ease is the basement. You haven't been down there in years but it's all that's left to you right now. You grab a flash-light and head down the concrete steps to your basement. You sweep your beam across the dark room, but all you see is a discarded step ladder and a bucket. The room is otherwise completely empty. A dead end, huh?You sit down on the bottom step and sigh. So much for that. As you put your head down and try to think about the situation, you hear a small, faint tapping. Your keen senses make you aware that it's coming from below you. Beneath the basement? Is there something in the pipes or...?As you look down, you can see a small indentation on the hard cement floor. It's almost like a latch. Without thinking it through, you reach down and give it a tug. While it's incredibly heavy...you did see a panel on the floor move. You test it again, only to feel the panel snap shut on you before you can even get it an inch off the floor. Concerned about the noise and curious about this panel, you try once more, putting your full strength into it. The panel lurches up and out, falling aside. As you look at it, it appears to be a thick, steel hatch. The overall design of it looks old, with some rust in a few places. However, along the sides you can see some clear electronic additions. A magnetic lock? You return your attention to the hole in the floor and see an iron ladder heading down into the darkness.
>>30719528You don't pay the nagging feeling in your gut any mind as you descend. You don't remember this being here but...maybe it's where all your parents things are? A few minutes on the ladder and you find yourself in the middle of a strange room. Bright, fluorescent lights shine down on you, and everything is covered in ceramic tile and steel plating. The tapping has grown to a loud knocking, and your eyes follow the noise to their source: There, at the end of the room, behind a large pane of glass, is a girl. In any other circumstance, you could have confused her for a freshman at your school. As it stands, however, you can't help but recognize her as Diablos. Though she is naked, her body is mostly concealed by her obscenely long hair, which appears to coil around her of its own will. Her slitted red eyes peek out from behind these strands, watching your every move. Eventually, you bother to pay attention to what she's doing. In front of the glass there's a small cooler. As you look inside, you see piles of raw meat, all still clinging tightly to the bone. You pick up a piece of meat and look at her questioningly. Is she hungry?"Finally! Damn, you're stupid. Now gimme.">You'll feed her, but only if she bothers to get dressed first.>Don't feed her.>Eat the meat.[ Twitter is here https://twitter.com/DXR27291052Setting document is here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rqpLh08K6gZ2EgxGs3oxAzWeh7ZsuSGlKC2sk755928/Archive listings are here http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Double%20Cross%20QuestAs usual, we're going to give this first prompt a little longer than usual, to make sure everyone makes it here on time.]
>>30719547>You'll feed her, but only if she bothers to get dressed first.ha ha time for insanity
>>30719547>>You'll feed her, but only if she bothers to get dressed first.Fuck we'll roll with it for now
>>30719547>You'll feed her, but only if she bothers to get dressed first. But first we'll slowly slap her with it, to study her predator instincts
>>30719547Feed her, but only if she'll answer some questions satisfactorily.
>>30719547>PUT SOME FAMN CLOTHES ON!>If you do that like a good girl then you will get the meat you so desperately crave.
>>30719547>>Don't feed her.
>>30719547>Don't feed her.
>>30719547>You'll feed her, but only if she bothers to get dressed first.>her body is mostly concealed by her obscenely long hair, which appears to coil around her of its own willDiablos is not Bayonetta enough to pull off that look.
>>30719547>Don't feed her.How would we even get the meat to her? She's on the other side of the glass. I don't want to open anything she could send blood through.
>>30719547>You'll feed her, but only if she bothers to get dressed first.
>>30719547>>You'll feed her, but only if she bothers to get dressed first.
>>30719547...You don't particularly mind giving her this food, but she needs to get decent first. You already feel like a criminal enough these days. No need to add being a voyeur to your list of misdeeds. Diablos scoffs, baring her teeth at you."What are you, a virgin?"Despite her complaints, her red hair wraps around her body of its own accord. It begins to weave back and forth, stitching itself up and cutting itself after it forms small knots. At the end of the process, her hair has formed a bright red t-shirt that hangs loosely over her frame. The ragged leftovers attached to her head break free and her hair grows back out to its normal length. "Happy now, loser? Good. Put the meat that tray over there."You look over to see a small metal tray sticking out from the wall. You place the meat on it and inspect it closer. The tray apparently connects to a receptacle, which you can only assume drops the food into the cage. Looks like all you have to do is push this button and..."Hey moron! I need a fork and knife too. You expect me to eat this with my fingers?"...You sort of did."I bed you'd get a kick out of that, you freak. Just give me them."Like she said you would, you find a small box of plastic eating ware and pick out a knife and fork. Dumping everything on the tray, you push the button to send the food. The tray is sucked into the recession and in a few moments, you see it shoot out of a nearby recession in the wall. After its done, you hear a heavy clank. Your guess is that the chute must close to prevent Diablos from squeezing through. The girl picks up the raw meat with her bare hands and takes a bite out of it, ripping apart the meat with a violent twist of her jaws. You then see her pick up the knife and fork and daintily cut the bones out of the way. Really?
>>30720345You find a chair in front of the glass and sit down, momentarily overcome with the absurdity of your entire situation. After sitting for a few moments, you hear a tapping on the glass again."You look like you're gonna cry. You gonna cry?"Why would someone like Diablos care either way?"It's alright~ You can tell me all about it. Everybody else does already," she takes a chunk out of her food and swallows it," 'Oh, Subject Seven, whatever shall I do about that brute? Oh, Subject Seven, where did we go wrong with you?' Pathetic."Subject Seven? You guess that's her new name. It'll be easier than calling her Diablos at any rate.>Complain to Seven>Ask Seven about herself>Ask Seven about her other conversations
>>30720367Ask about herself
>>30720367>Ask Seven about herselfthen this if there's time>Ask Seven about her other conversations
>>30720367>Complain to Seven
>>30720367>Complain to SevenIt's not like we can talk to anyone else about it.
>>30720367>>Ask Seven about her other conversationswrong with you? Are you really the Chief's blood baby?
>>30720367>ComplainGod, everything's so shit.
>>30720367Chief vents at Diablos about us? Hysterical. We should use Diablos to get back at Chief. Get Diablos to tell Chief to do something odd to "bring us under control" that'd make the chuuni think was going too far.Or we could>Ask Seven about her other conversations
>>30720412This is now what we call her, yes.
>>30720367I'm tempted to vote Leave, but Cap wants answers.>Ask Seven about her other conversations.
>>30720367>Ask Seven about herself
>>30720367>Ask Seven about her other conversations"Do you get something out of it? Games, books, porn mags?"
>>30720499I'm sure Captain wants answers from people who have them.
>>30720367Wait shit, guys, asking about the other conversations could advance the plot. So could complaining.Activate the Devil Social Link, ask Seven about herself. Note that seven is also the Lovers arcanum, and it refers to bonds between unlike things.
>>30720367>Ask Seven about her other conversations
>>30720367>Ask Seven about herself>Ask Seven about her other conversationsDeny evidence regarding our own life harder damnit!"Subject Seven, Subject Seven, don't you want a real name?"I want Captain to have a hang up about names, and yell at Chief or Claire, when it's emotionally appropriate, about how none of them, no one in the UGN, has ever called him by his real name.
>>30720538Also note that this isn't Shitsona series and that I'm just pulling stupid shit out of my ass that means nothing.
>>30720518He doesn't trust those people, though. What Seven tells us may provide leads for us to investigate or challenge the UGN's claims.
>>30720367>Complain to seven- not really. More give a 'really, they complain about me to you? Talk about an agency competence."Then ask Seven about herself.
>>30720367>Kill it before it escapes and triggers another shitty plothook
>>30720367>Ask Seven about herself>Ask Seven about her other conversationsSorry if I don't use you as a diary then.
>>30720573Persona uses a different interpretation of that trump.
>>30720367Other people have been coming here and talking to Seven? You had a hell of a time getting that hatch open by yourself, you can only imagine the kind of trouble someone else would go through to get here. "Gee, I dunno, maybe they didn't have a problem because they actually had a key."Well, that would make sense."Dumbass."So what have they been asking Seven? She doesn't seem like the most friendly and outgoing person you've ever encountered. You'd have to chalk that one up to Ayase. "It always starts with the routine questioning, you know?" She gulps down another hunk of meat and begins drawing on the glass with the blood. They're crude stick figures doing even cruder things."But then it veers off into their personal lives, and I am so sick of their damn personal lives. That pretty blonde has nothing but complaints about you. Every single day she's in here talking about how you offend her delicate soul and how you've been a disgusting, perverted brute towards her. If you ask me, she should set some more personal time for herself to rub one--"Right, so anything else you should know?"Your bitch comes in here a lot too. No questions, just gossip for hours and hours on end about every last detail of your miserable, pathetic little life and how it's the greatest thing since the big bang. I know way more about you than I ever wanted. There's something seriously wrong with that girl, you know what I'm saying?"Look who's talking. Finished with the meat, Seven pops one of the bones into her mouth and cracks it open on her teeth. While grinding up the bone as if it were nothing more than a hard candy, she begins to lick the blood off her face and fingers. It's enough to put you on edge.>Ask Seven a few more things.>That's enough for now.
>>30721029I want to watch her eat more things.
>>30721029>>" I know way more about you than I ever wanted. There's something seriously wrong with that girl, you know what I'm saying?"Ask her if they ever said anything about our parent situation. Obviously theyre both in on it.
>>30721029>>That's enough for now.
>>30721029>Ask Seven a few more things.Time spent talking to Seven is time not spent with UGN assholes.
>>30721029>That pretty blonde has nothing but complaints about you.which pretty blonde are we talking about here?
>>30721029>Ask Seven a few more things.
>>30721029>Ask Seven a few more things.ask if Claire ever talked about our childhood
>>30721029>Ask Seven a few more things. You remember meeting me before last time I saw you in a situation like this? Other than that, tell me about you. I'm curious and I don't work for UGN so its out of personal interest.>Offer her more food.
I suggest insanity.
>>30721029>Ask Seven a few more things. So, I'm guessing you don't remember anything about Diablos, or me, that they haven't told you.
>>30721029>Ask Seven one more thing"Have either of those idiots mentioned my parents?"After she's answered>Grab a hunk of raw meat to snack on and leave
Defection sounds very intriguing at the moment. How about we take the kid and run?
>>30721251How about no
>>30721251not to terrible. But lets see how her taste is in manga first. See Chief's face when Seven's getting the not!to-love-ru and not her.
>>30721251let's not be hasty. if we run right away they'll KNOW. we should have a plan first.maybe we should go to Overedchan/k/
>>30721251While I would like to get away from the UGN, False Hearts doesn't seem like a better option.
>>30721251And go where? And what about our encroachment rate? I hate Claire as much as the next rational person, but we need her to lower it.
>>30721274EVen better when the chief walks in and see her reading the missing chapters. It'd be a bit of pain to get them out without accidentally releasing her huh?
>>30721301We kidnap the Diablos and social link with her.
>>30721251>>30721274>>30721285>>30721295We should found an organization. call it Overed Without Borders, focus on not giving a fuck and keeping a normal life free of government intervention
>>30721338>social link with her.like the MC knows anything about being social.
>>30721343Holy shit. I would love this.
>>30721295Thus we must forge our own path, our own faction.
>>30721343That's the UGN. Seriously.
>>30721343That sounds like reckless extraordinarity.Y'know, instead of the mediocrity we need and deserve.
>>30721377Then why is it so shit?
>>30721377>normal lifeAlso I thought UGN was a government agency?
>>30721343Too ambitious . Out of character.
>>30721391Same reason why Snake has to kill BigBoss, it betrays its original purpose, becoming part of the system it tried to rebel against, trapped within that system.
>>30721343>Overed Without Bordersbut with a name like that we'll wind up having to put one of our eyes out and recruit people by tying them to balloons
>>30721391Because no government intervention means their intervention.>>30721403Naww, UGN is non-governmental, and international in scope.
>>30721391It doesn't get any better than this.>>30721403The UGN is a global agency that operates with national cooperation. However, it does not belong to the government. Government based Overed agencies use Overed as expendable tools and weapons.
>>30721377>life free of government interventionI really doubt that they do this well if the people the Captain has met are any indication.
>>30721377Normal life free of government intervention and shady paramilitary NGO intervention, too.
>>30721433>Government based Overed agencies use Overed as expendable tools and weapons.feels bad man.
>>30721496>implying that's possible while you're a known overedShort of suddenly gaining Solaris/Orcus mind rape powers, you're never getting free. And even then, it's touch and go on whether you can mentally rape all of them before they rape you.
>>30721433Are their any Overed run governments out there?
>>30721576QUICK! TO SOMALIA!
>>30721343>normal life free of government interventionwe should move to artics then.
>>30721576If there are, they aren't being public about it.
I'd rather Captain die than be a slave to UGN for the rest of his life.
>>30721029You're just about ready to get out of here, the way she eats reminds you more of an animal than a person, but your curiosity strikes you at the absolute worst moment. Just who is Seven? Is she really Diablos? Has she heard anything useful from these little talks?"Listen, they called me Diablos so I guess I'm Diablos. Then they called me Subject Seven, so I guess I'm Subject Seven too. Do I need anything more than that?"So is she saying she isn't Diablos? You're confused."I'm whatever they say I am. I'm not so sure myself, and I don't think it matters. I can't remember anything past a few months ago anyway. Anyway, you wanted to learn something useful? Since you gave me some meat, I guess I can tell you: That crazy bitch, the one obsessed with you? Just between you and me, she's always talking about making something up to you. Don't know what."That's not really very useful to you. You'd hoped to hear something about your parents or this situation."Don't like my intel? Don't talk to me.">Part on good terms with Seven>Tell her off before you leave.
>>30721599Sound great. I hear the fishing is wonderful there.
>>30721629Can we be like an independent contractor for the UGN? As in, not be an official agent of theirs but take on some of their work for a price of your stipulation?
>>30721639>Say nothing and leaveNeutral msster race
>>30721639>>Part on good terms with Sevenremember the chief rants to her, it'd be good to be friends, offer to bring her some manga
>>30721588>Overed Warlord Sidequest?Could be fun.
>>30721599I think there is a guy there with super ice powers, he seems pretty chill. Unless you're rocking fire powers.
>>30721441>>30721496>>30721629It would be impossible to create an organization that has less intervention than the UGN. It already uses the minimum amount of force needed to keep dangerous Overed out of the public eye, since its primary goal is rehabilitation. If you have any less intervention, you're basically a non-existent entity that has no power to enforce anything and are nothing more than loosely affiliated Illegals.
>>30721639>Part on good terms with SevenLet's go yell at Chief some more.Diabloli confirmed for most stable character in the quest holy shit what.
>>30721639She's been about as helpful as she probably can be, and in case we want to set her loose on the UGN later, it'd be useful to have as okay relations with her as possible. I see no reason not to>Part on good terms with Seven
>>30721639>making something up to you.Confirmed for accidentally-ing our parents>Part on good terms with Seven
>>30721639>Ask her if she wants to be called something else. Seven while cool sounding isn't a name.
>>30721639>Part on good terms with SevenApart from the fact she's irate, she isn't batshit crazy like everyone else.
>>30721639>Part on good terms with SevenAsk her if there's anything she wants us to bring her next time we can get down here. No reason to antagonize her right now.
>>30721639>>Part on good terms with Sevengo directly to chief.
>>30721639>"Surprisingly, you seem like the least insane person here.">leave
>>30721688>If you have any less intervention, you're basically a non-existent entity that has no power to enforce anything and are nothing more than loosely affiliated Illegals.So.... we'd be the Anarchs
>>30721639>Part on good terms with SevenHolla holla get GBP
>>30721639>Part on good terms with Seven
>>30721639>part on good terms with seven.>Even though she tried to murder us, she at least in this instance seems much more reasonable than most other active Overed we've had the pleasure of interacting with.
>>30721639>Part on good terms with Seven"You're whoever you want to be, and who yuo want to be matters. Don't want to be Diablos? Don't be. Don't want to be Subject Seven? Don't be. If you do, you do. It's that simple."I'll bring you something to read next time I visit."
>>30721639>Part on good terms with SevenHow the hell is she the best of the bunch at faking normal?
>>30721662Neutral always leads to suffering, anon.Better to be mediocre.
>>30721741well she is caged for starters.
>>30721741Because best girl
>>30721751It's full of suffering, but it's always the true path.
>>30721718I see little problems with this>>30721695I thought this was obvious
>>30721693(cont.) She likely is manipulating us or would do so if she could, but I don't know what reason she would have to withhold the information we care about. Just the information everyone around us wants out of her.
>>30721741Probably because it's trying to fool everyone into thinking it's harmless until it has a chance to escape.
If they try to mindwipe the Captain again we revolt.
>>30721695I was thinking about this before, but she didn't really have any offensive abilities before, right? She started with Neumann and Angel Halo, which she only uses for illusion.she only uses illusions because she annihilated Captain's original home and family with a gamma ray burst when she went Overed
>>30721718The proper term for it is running and hiding. You've got nowhere to run and hide for long on this island, really.
>>30721926>only uses for illusion.Er, not just illusion, but I mean, she doesn't blast shit with lasers, like Fallen Angel.
>>30721926>angel Halo>AKA FUCKING LASERS>not an offensive ability
>>30721945So, learn dolphin evolution. got it.
>>30721982Dolphins? Go with blue whales and great white sharks.
>>30721751That pic always cracks me up. Though, SMT IV's neutral end is by far more idealistic and optimistic unless the Messians kill the Flynn a la post-I.
>>30722073Neutral is always the beset end in every SMT if you think in the grand scheme.
>>30722037Nuts to that. Let's just live under the sea. They can't get at you twenty thousand leagues under the sea.
>>30722105Captain Sharktopus! Lazy Terror of the Deep!
>>30722129But sharks aren't lazy. If they stop moving, they die.
>>30721639You give Seven a nod and a wave, then head up the ladder out of the bunker. You replace the hatch and head back into your house. You didn't get any of the answers you were looking for, but the distraction has let you put your troubles out of mind for now. Your headache and panic has subsided somewhat, and you go take a seat at the kitchen table. God, you're sleepy again. You're sleepy so much these days. You wonder if it's just exhaustion for a moment before you pass out. Your sleep is a dreamless one this time, letting you peacefully waste away the day and let all your troubles bleed out from you.--You are awoken by the feeling of something cold on your cheek. You see Claire sitting in front of you, a cup of ice cream in one hand and a spoon full of it in the other. She holds the spoon up for you and stares at you. What's all this about?"A treat for you, Captain."Did you do something to deserve it? Not that Claire ever really needs a reason to stuff your face."I...have been keeping things from you, Captain. I cannot tell you yet, but I want you to know that it isn't because I want to keep you in the dark. I want to tell you but...I don't have the capacity to do so. Therefore..."She holds the frozen treat up to your mouth. The sweet smell of chocolate reaches your nose, and you eye the cherry still waiting in the cup with a hungry eye."Please, let me serve you this much. When you're done, I shall warm you back up with my body. I promise, I have been studying extra hard. I know exactly where you feel good, Captain. I can--"Alright, you don't need to hear any more of that. Claire continues to hold the spoon up to your mouth. You know you have to get dressed and ready to go to that stupid event soon, but there's enough time to eat, isn't there?Credit for art goes to Larro
>>30722091Nah, SMT 2's Chaos end is much more upbeat than the neutral one. More survivors, better outcomes to a few events. And Nocturne's TDE is probably the "best" ending, even if it's an outright rejection of the LNC system and an acceptance of nihilism and oblivion as preferable to any kind of cyclic world.Neutral's best in 1, 4 and SJ.
>>30722195That's why we'd be part octopus. Good at hiding. Good at remaining motionless.
>>30722226[Got cut off there.]>Go ahead and eat. So what if you'll be a little late?>Take a spoonful and nothing more. You've got someplace to be.
>>30722226Fuck. Don't eat that it's drugged.
>>30722258>>Take a spoonful and nothing more. You've got someplace to be.
>>30722258Eat it, The captain can then be fashionably late on accident
>>30722258It's a fucking trap. Don't eat it.
>>30722226>Eat nothing. We need to have a serious conversation. Let's do that now.
>>30722258>Go ahead and eat. So what if you'll be a little late?>>30722284>>30722313Captain can't get drugged.
>>30722258Is Claire trying to tempt Captain, or keep him from hating her when this truth comes out?
>>30722258>Go ahead and eat. So what if you'll be a little late?
>>30722258>Take a spoonful and nothing more. You've got someplace to be.>"Are you the girl in the sundress,"Gauge her reaction, don't wait for an actual answer. Go get ready.
>>30722258>Take a spoonful and nothing more. You've got someplace to be.
>>30722258Don't eat it.>>30722329There are Overed that specialize in drugging. Nothing is certain.
>>30722258>Take a spoonful and nothing more. You've got someplace to be.Can't be rude.We can have the rest later.
>>30722258>No icecream"Funny thing, I looked in the attic. I'll have as much as I found there."Leave to get ready.
>>30722258Eat it, eat it! Getting fed is one of my things.
>>30722258>Take a spoon full. Tell Claire you're saving the rest for later. Get ready for "the event."
>>30722226>"I can't accept your apology. I don't blame you. Not for that, at least.">Grab her hand and shove the spoonful into her mouth.>Leave, with neither words nor fucks.
>>30722329With Shining Void's assistance and bodily fluids he can be.
>>30722363DXR specifically stated that it is impossible for Captain to be drugged. So either we have nothing to worry about, or DXR is a lying shit and I'll be dropping the quest.
>>30722258>Go ahead and eat.
>>30722226I don't know if we're even going to that event. Captain has more important concerns. Why not use it to keep Chief away while we try to drag answers out of Claire? Maybe Chief'll send one of the other crazies at us, but at least it'll split her attention.
>>30722373But not one of the Captain's things.
>>30722258>>>Go ahead and eat. So what if you'll be a little late?
>>30722412Captain can't be drugged by conventional means. It takes an Overed power to create a drug strong enough to affect him, and even those are very temporary.
>>30722475Changing my vote to not eating it
>Go ahead and eat. So what if you'll be a little late?Only because there was art.
>>30722500Are you voting on your own quest?
>>30722500Well crap on a cracker, I meant to say I only offered this choice because I had art. I didn't meant to make you guys think there were drugs.
>>30722475And likely so concentrated that it'd be very hard to completely mask from our enhanced senses.
>>30722515See>>30722523I was trying to address shadowruns and hit enter on my captcha too early. I fill
>>30722544WHAT A TWEEEST
>>30722523>>30722500>we have art.....fuck it, why not>Go ahead and eat
>>30722551Shit, fill out my captcha first.
>>30722551Hit Enter too early again? You might want to slow down a bit.
>>30722258>>Take a spoonful and nothing more. You've got someplace to be.Have you learned nothing.
>>30722579You really shouldn't.
>>30722523Huh, you know what? If someone donated art for this choice then say you're allowed to vote for it. Not changing my vote from asking Claire for a raincheck on the ice cream and not pissing off Chief. Still, pretty tempting.
>>30722551Oh come on.>Learn that there's some serious conspiracy afoot>Know that there is bullshit mindwipe drugs>Personally know someone that can literally shit out said drugs>Suddenly pass out from not much activity>Wake up to suddenly "Here, eat the ice cream!"What did you expect?I still think you're lying and that the ice cream should not be eaten,
>>30722579might not be a good idea
>>30722599>>30722624Yes, clearly. Great shame upon me for this. I will buy more art for you guys to make up for it. I've obviously been using the autopost feature too much.
>>30722638Get Chief, Lunatic, and Void pics.also give us chitin you turd
Alright, before I go and do something dumb again, let me count and get to writing.>counting, writing
>>30722620Dude, it's an easy way to make Claire's mood go up. That's all this is.
>>30722638>buy more artWait, you legitimately commissioned this? Screw it, switch >>30722383 to enjoying icecream and being late.
>>30722670Hell naw I like the fur.
>>30722701>Letting that affect your decisionPlease consider killing yourself
>>30722620But anon, if the ice-cream is drugged then we don't have to waste time at a horrible UGN shindig with Chief.Additionally, any compounds that strong must appear in testing, so Claire'd have hell to answer for. But, most importantly, we'd get free ice-cream.
>>30722689No, it's a trap. It doesn't even have to put captain out for too long. Just a few minutes and he's getting probes and shit jammed in his head while he's out.
>>30722720I was on the fence. What can I say, he swayed my opinion though sound argumentation and by playing my heart strings.
>>30722735...fuck, that is some faultless logic
>>30722787It's pretty fucking faulty because it ignores the fact that if it's drugged, Chief is the one that ordered it.
>>30722677I apologize again. Profusely. So I'm going to let everybody have something they want from this update. It will take a bit longer this time for me to incorporate all these decision points into something feasible.
>>30722772They already live here. If they want to fuck with Captain's head they'll do it when he's naturally asleep.
>>30722831>So I'm going to let everybody have something they want from this updateAm I allowed to complain when what I want isn't included?
>>30722831<prepares to bitch and moan anyways>
>>30722866I'll hold you to that.
>>30722842Then he could wake up easier.
>>30722831Personally I think the apology is unnecessary, but I appreciate the gesture. Still, I'm looking forward to what you come up with.
>>30722620Dude, we have absurdly keen senses and an absurd healing factor. We'd smell the poison if there was any, and even if through some strange circumstance we don't notice it wouldn't do any actual damage to us.
>>30722887I don't know. Cap's a pretty heavy sleeper.
>>30722892It doesn't have to do damage, it just has to knock us out for a few seconds to allow the real damage to be inflicted without resistance.
>>30719528I just came in to read.Fun fact about Japanese construction popped into my head as I read the thread.Did you know there are no such things as basements for houses in Japan? It's apparently not allowed in their construction code.
>>30722930Makes sense, what with the proximity to faultlines.Makes basement shelters an earthquake deathtrap.
>>30722930Good thing we're in NOT Japan
>>30722930Good thing this isn't Japan.
>>30722975>>30722982That part of the Pacific Ocean is still pretty active tectonically speaking, isn't it?
>>30722927Why not do that when he's already asleep and vulnerable? Captain's a heavy sleeper.
>>30722258You don't trust this ice cream at all. How do you know it isn't drugged? These people are nuts, and are probably thinking of wiping your brain at their nearest convenience. You grab the spoon from Claire, intending to give her a taste of her own medicine. Literally. You shove the ice cream into her mouth, and force it down her throat. Her face turns red, and you slowly withdraw the spoon from her mouth. Nasty, it's practically dripping with her saliva. You drop the spoon on the table and look at Claire, seeing just what affect the drug had on her. A few moments pass, but Claire keeps looking at you, her face flushed with excitement, but otherwise unmoved. You...suppose the ice cream was fine?Claire picks the spoon back up and takes another scoop of ice cream out, but this time she hands the spoon to you."If that is what Captain wants to do with me, then I shall accept it. Feed me, feed yourself. Whatever you wish to do, I will take all of it." Claire opens up her mouth and sticks her tongue out, apparently waiting for you to push another dollop of ice cream down her throat. To tell the truth, you are tempted to make her gag on the unwanted gift, but seeing as the food is fine, you decide to eat it yourself. Oh. It's pretty good. You end up eating most of the rest of it yourself. At the end, you shove what little scrapings are left into Claire's mouth and get up from the table. You have to go get dressed and-"Ahh...So good."Claire is running her hands over her face, the spoon still in her mouth. She appears to be giving the spoon the best spinshine she can. She looks at you, absolutely flushed."Captain's fresh spit is so good. It's almost as if we kissed."No, it really isn't.
>>30723232--You finish putting on the nice suit. There's supposedly some kind of rehearsal going on before the actual formal dinner tomorrow. You have to show up in the clothes you'll be wearing, but fortunately, it seems like only a few people will be attending tonight. It might be easier to deal with. You can't completely skip this, since the Chief will be making sure you go there, but nobody said you had to stick around for the rehearsal.>Dutifully go to the rehearsal>Show up, but go do your own thing while you're there.>Don't even go inside.
>>30723173Not even close.
>>30723256>>Don't even go inside.Chief a shit
>>30723256>>Dutifully go to the rehearsalHey we're getting rewarded for going through with this. Might as well do it right.Gotta keep the customer satisfied
>>30723256>Show up, but go do your own thing while you're there
>>30723256>Don't even go inside. There will be no fraternizing on my watch. Crazy is contagious.
>>30723256>Don't even go inside.
>>30723256>Show up, but go do your own thing while you're there.Half-assed is better than no-assed.
>>30723256>Don't even go inside. Not even once
>>30723256>Show up, but go do your own thing while you're there. It's the rehearsal dinner, we can half-ass it.
>>30723256>Show up, but go do your own thing while you're there.
>>30723256>Dutifully go to the rehearsal>"Chief, when we're done here, we need to talk."
>>30723232>Claire opens up her mouth and sticks her tongue out, apparently waiting for you to push another dollop of ice cream down her throat. To tell the truth, you are tempted to make her gag on the unwanted gift, but seeing as the food is fine, you decide to eat it yourself. Oh. It's pretty good.A-an indirect kiss! No, but seriously, did we just use the same spit-slathered spoon that we shoved down her throat? Gross.
No gag reflex, huh?
>>30723377>No, but seriously, did we just use the same spit-slathered spoon that we shoved down her throat? Gross. It tasted pretty good.
>>30723256Just sit there and try to remember the last time you actually saw your parents
>>30723256show up, but be mediocre about it
>>30723232>Nasty, it's practically dripping with her saliva.>you decide to eat it yourself. We didn't even wipe it? They must've *already* drugged us.
>>30723256>>Don't even go inside.Sit. And think. About everything. And how we proceed from here.
>>30723256>>30723345Oh, this. I have altered the deal.>>30723407Just because her saliva is constantly saturated in dissolved candy doesn't make it okay.the fact that he is a chimaera that has no concern for human pathogens, so gross is just a factor of emotional response, and captain doesn't give a fuck, makes it ok
>>30723407>It tasted pretty good.Oh? Captain could pick out the notes of Claire from the ice cream?
>>30723407There's no reason for it not to taste good seeing as how saliva doesn't really have a taste unless you already ate something. Even then the ice cream and cold would cover it up.
>>30723467You'd rather not think about such things...Also>counting and writing.
She'd better be satisfied now.
>>30723509What does Claire smell like anyways? Captain has a damn good sense of smell and relies on it a decent bit, so I'm somewhat curious as to how the rest of the cast appears to his senses.
>>30723513No way it's at 100%.The quickfill we got the first time was while he was just playing with the concept.
>>30723621Cinnamon candy. And whatever that shampoo was.
>>30723621Old socks and shame.
>>30723621Captain's wank tissues.
>>30723669Let's be honest here, if there's one thing Claire doesn't smell of it's shame. Pretty sure she isn't properly capable of that emotion.
>>30723513Well Captain did just take a hard fluted object, ram it down her willing throat until sweet cream filled her stomach, leaving her gasping in bliss. It was practically irrumatio. Her little indirect kiss at the end probably made her happier than anything else. At least she'll be somewhat more manageable for the next few threads.
>>30723621The candies she keeps eating.
>>30723739True. Sluts have no shame

>>30723256You can show up at least. It's not like you're at the head of any kind of events or something so you should be able to laze around as you please. Satisfied with your decision, you head downstairs to wait for Claire and the Chief to be ready.--What feels like hours later, Chief and Claire finally descend the stairs. Chief's outfit couldn't be more opulent. Sashes, broaches, ruffles, and silks cover her from neck to toe. Brilliant reds and whites make up the colors of her dress, which makes her seem taller than she usually is. Actually, wait...she is taller? How large are those heels she's wearing? Can she even walk straight in those?Claire is much more subdued, much like your own fashion. Aside from the skirt, it seems like something you could tolerate wearing. Actually, wait...isn't that? Claire seems to take notice of your attention and puts a hand to her chest."Yes, Captain. This is the same style as your suit."Shouldn't women be wearing something more flashy to these events?"Perhaps. I, however, wished to be dyed in your colors."You put a hand to your face as you walk out the door.--The drive is taking longer than you expected. Even though Chief's limousines never go particularly fast, you feel like you're going out into the boonies for this little trip. Tall trees surround you on all sides, and the road disappears into the dark just a few meters in front of the limo. Are you sure you're headed the right way?"I'm positive. Flawless Hawkeye always had an appreciation for nature. It does not surprise me that he would base himself out in the wilderness."You frown. You expected something ritzy. >Ask exactly where you're going.>Comment on Chief's dress.>Say nothing and just look at the scenery.

>>30724038This is a good one! Chief will turn such a lovely shade of red as she fumes.
>>30723993>>Say nothing and just look at the scenery.
>>30724088Oh come on, we're going to a 'party' that's far away in the boonies rather than at a ritzy hotel. It's obviously a trap!
>>Say nothing and just look at the scenery. We're a Purebred Chimera and we're heading out into the boonies ... it's almost a shame we have to deal with these social entanglements when there's all that space out there to just ... run.

>>30724141It's not like a door can stop us. Just a simple push and we can be free.
>>30723993>Comment on Chief's dress. Is she getting encouragement from Angel now?
>>30724259Chief's is tasteful, if extremely fancy. Fallen Angel's would have strange cutouts to emphasize her bust, and boxing tape in odd, seemingly random places.
>>30724281If you got it, flaunt it?
>>30724281Oh? So Fallen Angel and Righteous Devil will be there this evening? And Fallen Angel probably dressed poor Rin? This should be entertaining.
>>30723993You decide to keep your trap shut and just look at the scenery. It is gorgeous. And somehow nostalgic. You don't think you've ever been this far away from home, but something about the woods just calls to you. Maybe it's this damn syndrome, but you feel like you could just take your shoes off and go running in it for hours. You put your head in your hand and lean against the window, starting to think. Why couldn't you find anything about your parents? It shouldn't be too hard, right? You start to think about them but find...you just can't bring anything up. Not their names, not their likes or dislikes, their voice, their smell. Even their face simply comes up a blank when you try to focus on them. It's difficult for you to even make something up. You resolve yourself to give them a call when this is all over. That's what you need to do. Get in contact with them again. That will fix everything.--The car comes to a halt and you're let out of the limo. A large, beautiful mansion stands before you. Done in what you think is a vaguely Mediterranean style, the white pillars and marble mix well with the soft oranges and browns on the tiles and walls. This was just recently built? This new Branch must be loaded! Its tall double doors swing open, and out from inside a figure emerges. Their dirty blond hair is slicked back, and their sharp blue eyes can be seen even from this distance. A long blue coat is draped around their shoulders, the decorated lapels and collar remind you of out of date military uniforms. Most importantly, though, a large bird of prey rests upon their shoulder."Flawless Hawkeye!"The Chief pushes past you to greet her hero. She immediately gives a small curtsey. Hawkeye likewise bows and takes her hand to kiss. How utterly pretentious."Now, now, Noble Blood. You know as well as I do that my real codename isn't Flawless. It's Sniper Hawkeye. Sniper."
>>30724667"Don't be so modest. You are an inspiration to us all!"As Chief continues to gush, you decide you'll just walk past this little distraction. As you try to swerve around the two, Hawkeye stops you by putting a hand in front of your path."You must be the Wild Card I have heard so much about. It is a pleasure to meet you."He's holding out his hand. You suppose he wants you to shake it.>Shake his hand normally.>Grab hard.>Ignore him.

>>30724753>>30724791I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as GNU, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called "Linux", and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux" distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.-wait.. woops

>>30724852Even more hell. And I've gotten a bit tired of Captain's autism. Hawkeye hasn't done anything except make our eternally unpleasant boss happy for at least one night, and for that, we should at least show some gratitude.tl;dr Chief might stop acting like a bitch to us if we're nice

>>30724686>>30724686Reluctantly, you put your hand out and shake his hand. God, everything about this guy just screams fop to you. His hands smell like lotion, and they're unpleasantly soft. You can tell he's been using some kind of classy hair treatment from the way it feathers. He's a full three inches shorter than you, and you're not exactly the tallest guy around. Just how in the hell did an obvious wimp like this get dubbed "Flawless"? The most intimidating thing about this guy is the bird on his shoulder."I must admit, you are a great deal more rugged than I anticipated, Wild Card. When I heard you were a normal boy, I expected to see a frightened teenager approach me, and not someone clearly as battle hardened as you are. These must have been a rough few months for you, but I do hope that you'll have fun at this rehearsal tonight and at the main event tomorrow."Battle hardened? You? "You can't hide a killer's instinct from me, Wild Card. I can already tell you've sized me up. I don't frighten you much, do I?""Wild Card, please!""No, no," Hawkeye puts a finger to Chief's lips to silence her. Oddly, it works. "It's fine. I am pleasantly surprised to see a warrior with you. I know you can't rely on Battle Doll for everything, can you. Speaking of that, how are you, Doll? That ponytail on the side of your head is new. Have you finally discovered feminine charm?"Battle Doll...? Claire steps forward and shakes her head."It is no longer Battle Doll, Chief Hawkeye. I am Speeding Bullets now. Bullets is fine.""Oh!" My many different appearances reminded them of how a doll often changes clothes. I do not use that name anymore."Oh. You suppose that makes a modicum of sense. Still, why is she acting ashamed of it? It's not like it's anything out of the ordinary for the UGN."I've since stopped doing infiltration and disguises. I didn't want you to think about how I used my talents to appeal to someone else. I only want to be your doll from now on. No matter the outfit, no matter the play, no matter how degrading or selfish you want it to be, I am yours and yours alone to play with, Captain."You're not about to get jealous over Claire using her powers to orchastrate a hit, but nevertheless, you tell her that you'll ask her to use those skills when it suits you. Seemingly satisfied, Claire nods and follows you inside the mansion. You're not sure you're going to like this dinner very much, but at the very least, you don't feel on edge. After all...what could go wrong?[Thread End]
>>30725661>After all...what could go wrong?Captain, you didn't.
>>30725661>After all...what could go wrong?
>>30725661>After all...what could go wrong?Should have left while we had the chance. Thanks for running DXR. Hopefully next thread goes a little better.
>>30725661>you tell her that you'll ask her to use those skills when it suits youCap needs to learn to phrase these things better.
>>30725709I am turning the extension off for next thread. I clearly am not responsible enough for the auto post feature. Still, we did have a very full thread today, and it makes me feel good to see this turnout.
>>30725742When do we get to free Diabloli?
>>30725764Are you an idiot?
>>30725764Collect the seven dragonballs.
>>30725661She is fucked in the head. Also the 'she killed the Captain's parents' theory is slowly becoming more plausible.
>>30725661>After all...what could go wrong?Well, that's a hell of a cliff hanger to end on. Also, are we all in agreement that Hawkeye's Hawk is probably an Overed that acts as his weapon against people like us?
>>30725777>DXRI rolled over in bed last night, and realised it was something other than three random letters. i feel stupid
>>30725764About five seconds before she tears out our throat with her teeth and uses our blood to form some juggernaut armor
>>30725777Wait, there's an Overed Goku clone running around in Japan? We need to take a field trip guys!
>>30725780Uh. Given that Claire has "secrets she can't tell" and utter devotion to Captain, isn't it equally possible that Claire is both the dream girl and the reason Captain's family is dead? Her taking care of Captain is her way of making amends.
>>30725826Well she's doing a terrible job of it.
Okay, looks like we're already archived. Any QA/comments you guys want to do before I go find something to eat?
>>30725826There's a limit to the amount of abuse an ordinary girl would take from Captain.Of course, even if she feels guilty, Claire is way too fucked in the head to be a normal girl. She might even see being beaten up or raped as part of her punishment. We've only done the beating up part though.
>>30725881The beatings will continue until sanity improves.
>>30725774>>30725811Oh come on, she didn't even exist before Chief did her freaky blood shit to Diablos, and everyone is treating her like some wild animal when she's actually the most sane person for miles.>>30725803Double Cross [something]?
>>30725870How fast can the Captain get away from these people if he runs at full tilt?
>>30725870So, if we raise Claire's satisfaction level with emotional support and normalish positive feedback and expressions of affection, her craving for that stuff increases disproportionally to her...more extreme desires of Captain?Pretty sure it's been answered, just wanted to double check.
>>30725849Overed and mental problems. If her Impulse IS love, then she'll never be able to hold back or see her interactions with Captain in anything but a romantic light. Well maybe, fucking Overed and their wacky impulses.>>30725870What's your favorite food?
>>30725932Her impulse is lust not love
>>30725780As far as Overed go she's remarkably stable, sure she's crazy, just like every other Overed we've met so far, but it's a very focused and functional type of crazy. She's simply very devoted to us.If she was involved in our parent's death it would probably be either an order from a superior, or an accident that she's trying to make up for.
>>30725912Can't Claire travel at light speed, Chief at shadow speed and Hawkeye's Raptor at really fast bird speed? Probably can't out run them when their in a group together.
>>30725912About 60mph is normal for him now, but that's only in a straightaway.>>30725928Yes. Emotionally satisfied Claire wants your body less. She still wants it, she's just less insistent. >>30725932>What's your favorite food?Lemon chicken piccata
>>30725946My pet theory is that her Impulse is actually sweets.Just to fuck with us for making the assumption.
>>30725946Her problem is not being able to distinguish love from lust. If we can fix that then maybe we can get her to settle down a bit.
>>30726004If she's so smart she would have learned the difference herself.
>>30726009She'd still need sources. Given the average competency of large organizations, she probably had easier access to porn than relationship counselors, and that's before you think about peer influences.
>>30726039>Given the average competency of large organizations, she probably had easier access to porn than relationship counselorsLunatic High was her primary consultant on all things concerning romantic relationships. Interpret that how you will.
>>30726009We already know she's emotionally under developed. Well, selectively underdeveloped might be more accurate, though given how young she is and the fact that she was just implied to have been a sexually active assassin for an number of years, I wouldn't be surprised if her handlers had intentionally emotionally crippled her as part of her training, but they failed to keep her stable.
>>30726039>peer influences.and authority figures>DAMNIT LUNAAAA
>>30726058>it all makes sense now
>>30726058I recall you mentioning that. Frankly, we're lucky she didn't end up like pic related. At least where we can see it.
>>30726058You planning to leave 'Battle Angel' redacted on the setting resource document?
>>30726102Battle Doll. This isn't an Americanized post-cyberpunk series.
>>30726102Just changed it!>>30726101Hahaha. Don't tempt me.
>>30726156Consider yourself tempted. Well, maybe not Claire, there's a good thing going on there, but Rin...
>>30726156Last question. How many available power outlets were there near on the visitors' side for Sev's containment facility?I lied, real last question, have you previously considered that the players might haul down a couch, flat screen and current gen console system, slip a wireless controller through the food shoot, and play video games with our captive sadololi while not talking to her about their personal problems or fruitlessly torturing her for info? Because I'm going to try to make that happen.
>>30726226This is good. I like it. I'm seconding this plan right now.
>>30726226I will support you in your endeavors for they are just and right.
>go to the archive>The Captain forces his cream down Claire's throat and meets Sniper "Flawless" Hawkeye.>The Captain forces his cream down Claire's throatReally?
>>30726226>Last question. How many available power outlets were there near on the visitors' side for Sev's containment facility?None the Captain could recognize.>I lied, real last question, have you previously considered that the players might haul down a couch, flat screen and current gen console system, slip a wireless controller through the food shoot, and play video games with our captive sadololi while not talking to her about their personal problems or fruitlessly torturing her for info? Because I'm going to try to make that happen.I've prepared a scene for it. As well as the consequences.
>>30726193What if that's what we get when Subject 7 regains her memories? What if we can put that genie back in the bottle with a combination of blunt force trauma and memory wipes?
>>30726254What? It actually happened.
>>30726264>I've prepared a scene for it. As well as the consequences. Then we shall make it happen.
>>30726254I'd have done it if he hadn't. It's entirely descriptive and accurate.>>30726271Can or cannot? Because the consequences either way are liable to be dramatic and yes, amusing.
>>30726254>>30726274While I intended to evoke irrumatio, I did not intend for it to be on the archive label. I'm watching you guys
>>30726264>I've prepared a scene for it. As well as the consequences. This makes me happy. Thank you OP, and good show on your run today.
>>30726301Will you still run on Monday?
>>30726318Probably not. I'll be in line for Dark Souls 2 midnight release.
>>30725910Just because she shares our disdain for our housemates doesn't make her sane. There's a reason the UGN is keeping her under heavy guard, she's a [i]dangerous[/i] and difficult to contain tri-breed with an Impulse to torture, murder, and destroy. She has no real social network (aside from, maybe, Diablos himself) to fall back on, and no compelling agenda beyond escaping confinement to distract her from that Impulse. If /tg/ lets their fondness for picking up stray little girls take hold, she will be the perfect little sociopath, use our sympathy to manipulate us into freeing her, and then stab us in the back just to see the shock of betrayle in our eyes. And, honestly, there but for the grace of Claire and our willingness to freelance goes the Captain.
>>30726352>dangerousMaybe. Claire took her down single-handedly, remember.>tri-breedProbably.>Impulse to torture, murder, and destroyAbsolutely no reason to believe that whatsoever. All evidence we have indicates that Diabloli is a completely new and separate entity.>She has no real social networkExactly. We spend time with her, she realises 'hey this Captain faggot is a bit of a wet blanket but at least he isn't completely batshit like everyone else around here', we get a new ally.>all that other shit relying on the Impulse assumptionNo.
>>30726418>Absolutely no reason to believe that whatsoever. All evidence we have indicates that Diabloli is a completely new and separate entity.Nope. Chief's mark, remember? And Claire is an exceptionally powerful Overed. Almost certainly stronger than Captain.
>>30725910>What's the R?Writer? Roomate? Romance? Rescuer? Ranger? Revolutionary?I got nothing?
>>30726352So what you're saying is that someone, probably some group, needs to positively social network with her and reconfigure her impulse so it's tightly directed at our enemies, right?
>>30726439>Chief's markIs literally everyone here so retarded that they can't remember that DIABLOS IS A SHAPE-SHIFTER.
>>30726562Then why does Seven still have it? Wouldn't getting rid of it be preferable to being captured and tortured and forced to listen to two girls relationship problems?
>>30726592Ironically she considers this a vacation.
>>30726418Frankly, I don't think Cap's got the social skills to win anyone over to his side, even with the powers of stockholm syndrome.Even if I didn't think that Seven was a Renegade Being created from one of Diablos's cast off Blood Servants, inheriting a basic framework of his belligerant and antisocial personality in the process, it's not as though the conditions of her captivity have been exactly comfortable. Don't forget that the isolation box sunk into the ground is a step up for her, compared to the electrified harness setup earlier. She's going to want out, and badly, and Cap's the only guy with access to her cell who isn't on board with the Chief's agenda. He represents a vulnerability that can be exploited ... if we were in her position, we'd damned well be do the same thing, and tie up the loose thread afterwards.Heck, Captain doesn't even have friends or family to miss him when he's gone. Just a crazy stalker who'd already probably be charged with hunting you to the ends of the earth.
>>30726675Ergh. I either need to sleep, or proofread.
>>30726675>implying Captain would fall for thatAnons have been pretty good with resisting the call of the waifu thus far. And they all remember how Diablos beat Captain's ass in their fights.
>>30726758There's already one anon who wants to release her.
>>30726783I want to release in her.
>>30726783And there's a dozen who don't.>>30726801I take that back.
>>30726801And then there's this guy.
>>30726783I'm not saying we should break her out right away. Just go through the process to get Chief to realise that she fucked up, and that Seven could potentially be an asset, rather than a liability.UGN is supposed to be about rehabilitation, is it not?
>>30726862Chief clearly has a personal vendetta against Diablos and Seven.
>>30726862That's all well and good, but let Diabloli take care of her own place on the Jedi/Sith index. Interfering when we know nothing at all is likely to blow up spectacularly, and get Captain more probation time.
>>30726922>know next-to-nothing>attempt to acquire information through rational discourse over vidyagaems>EVERYTHING DIES FOREVER THE END
>>30726862It'll happen anyway. Diabloli is supposed to be part of the main cast, so she'll become an ally sooner or later, with or without Captain's intervention.
>>30726962Ah, that's a bad idea solely because it'll piss Chief right off. She might even assign Claire to stalk Captain at all hours.>>30727002You can be part of the main cast and not be an ally. Recurring villain or the tempter(ess).
>>30727002Or she becomes our Hannibal Lecter. Just because she's Parton the main cast doesn't means she's on our side. That being said I'm on team video gaming.
>>30727019>You can be part of the main cast and not be an ally. Recurring villain or the tempter(ess).Diablost is already a recurring villain. Diabloli's role is to be the anti-hero of the part, which always complains. insults and tries to fuck over everyone and will likely betray us a few times only to eventually come back just to see everyone's shocked faces.DXR did say that he's unleashing his powerlevel at full force. Something like this is a likely scenario.
>>30727052>That being said I'm on team video gaming.I can agree on this.
>>30726962She's been alive for a few months.Exactly what valuable intel is she going to have? Random bits of whatever her captors feel safe sharing with a dangerous captive? What if she lies? Distrust for UGN is already running kinda high right now, it wouldn't be too difficult for her to plant seeds of doubt. If we go down there, it's not because we have something to gain. It's out of guilt.
>>30727104Not intelligence, more an assessment of her state of mind and the possibility of recruiting her.
>>30727104>It's out of guilt.>Captain and guiltThis does not compute.Captain's main motivation for going down there will probably be the idea that no one will look for him in such a place and that a sadistic loli is less annoying than a prideful slave-driver or insane stalker.
>>30727104>If we go down there, it's not because we have something to gain. It's out of guilt. For me, it's because I want to play some video games.
>>30727168On the player's part, obviously, and if you actually think putting up with Diabloli will be better than Chief or Claire, can I remind you we thought the same thing about Rin?
>>30727217>On the player's part, obviouslyThere's no rel reason for the players to feel guilty for her either. >I remind you we thought the same thing about Rin?I don't. I just find the dynamic between an abusive loli and a guy with SPD to be entertaining.
>>30727217The only problem with Rin is that Claire polluted her perception of us. We can fix that easily enough with a single conversation, so long as we keep her from running away.
>>30727274We only thought that. Seems like this is her actual personality.
>>30727129Recruit her to what? The UGN? We're no representative of theirs. Our own agenda? Oh, right, we have no agenda or cause beyond wanting to be left alone. Doesn't seem like recruiting would be condusive to that goal.If you want to start recruiting, maybe we should get Captain's social graces to the point where he can talk to Rin without her breaking down into tears before we try verbally sparring with Seven.
>>30727217>On the player's part, obviously, and if you actually think putting up with Diabloli will be better than Chief or Claire, can I remind you we thought the same thing about Rin?I actually find Claire to be very, very tolerable these days. I like seeing her react so strongly to small gestures of kindness.
>>30727168>>30727263I'm not worried about the Captain's tendencies, but /tg/'s.It's a little girl locked in our basement who's (hypothetically) committed no crime other than sharing genes with an infamous False Hearts field agent. A young life placed in isolation, with no apparent source of entertainment, or companionship beyond the rambling of our unwanted peers. It's going to tug at some people's heart strings, and folks love a good tale of redemption.>>30727196Videogames are great. Give her a copy of Skyrim to chew on in single player bliss. We can be the bearer of entertainment and not force our attention on someone who hates us by association. Then go play an RTS or something where our battle acumen won't kick in against any of the non-sadists in our expanding NPC library.
>>30727373Claire's waifu levels just keep going up and up every thread, and I don't know if they're ever going to come down. Even her annoying habits are eventually becoming cute.
>>30727400>Give her a copy of SkyrimIt's like you WANT her to hate us.
>>30727400>>30727456>Give her a copy of Dark SoulsFixed.
>>30727438It's probably because she's actively grinding the skills. Most people find it hard to turn down someone who's constantly doing things for them and telling them how great they are. It's how bootlickers become so entrenched in any hierarchy.
>>30727456It's a big open space where she can roam around, skinner box, and murder people. As far as games to play when you're locked in a cell, at least it'll last you a while. Also, she's too young to know better.
>>30727514Oblivion is far better.
>>30727462>Dark SoulsConsidering her powers and sadistic tendencies, might as well give her a copy of Prototype.
>>30727480You're probably right, but Claire is quickly approaching the ideal wife territory. She has only a couple more fetishes to hit for me.>"...I only want to be your doll from now on. No matter the outfit, no matter the play, no matter how degrading or selfish you want it to be, I am yours and yours alone to play with, Captain."This really went straight to my heart.
>>30727523Yes, yes, and Morrowind was better than Oblivion. Everything was better when you were young and had not yet developed discerning tastes, and nothing will ever be good again.Getting a bit off topic though.
>>30727523>OblivionSweet Christ, it's actually come to this.>>30727586While I may share one or more of those fetishes, it's also extraordinarily creepy and not healthy, even by the relative standard of mental health used for Overed. If this is Claire at ~20, I'd hate to see what happens when she starts destabilizing.
>>30727625As a game, in release state, yes Morrowind was better than Oblivion. But the improved graphics and presence of mods lifted Oblivion above Morrowind.Skyrim is just objectively bad.
>>30727638>While I may share one or more of those fetishes, it's also extraordinarily creepy and not healthyDXR describes Claire's affection as "burning love". It could be that even if she wasn't an Overed, this is how she'd display affection to Captain. She is the subbest sub outside of a /d/ quest.
>>30727669>She is the subbest sub outside of a /d/ quest.Claire would be an extraordinary sub even with /d/ quests, because that's her natural state. She hasn't even been mindbroken with cocks yet.
>>30727669I think it's pretty clear that Claire's common sense and self-consciousness are negatively affected by her Overed nature. Were she not a sufferer, she'd be forward, but not take every excuse to strip or proposition Captain.Less "Take me now," more "Ah! Darling!"
>>30727768What if Claire is actually very embarrassed on the inside, but doing it because she's putting her desire to pleasure Captain over her own insecurities and humiliation.
>>3072778111/10, would bang. Once a day and twice on Sundays.
>>30727781I think this might be the case. Remember, there are some activities she had to prepare herself for mentally, like exhibitionism.
>>30727781I had a suspicion for a while there that Claire only latched onto the Captain because he did reject her advances so stoically. In the beginning, she was very insistent that we needed to find ways to indulge the Renegade or it'd build up and we'd end up snarling and barking at Yeager. With the Captain, she's free to fully indulge herself and let off that pressure, even in extreme ways like the Love Pet Incident, because she knows that ultimately the Cap'n will shut her down cold. The fact that such extreme displays force the Captain to actually interact with someone are just gravy as far as the UGN is concerned. It's important to remember that we're just as good for Claire as she is for us in that regard.Of course, false memories are now in the cards and my little theory likely has likely had a few holes shot in it now.
>>30727862>Of course, false memories are now in the cards and my little theory likely has likely had a few holes shot in it now.I think it's compatible. Let's say that Claire is in fact attempting to "serve" Captain because she was involved in the loss of his parents. Being denied, struck, or otherwise punished would reaffirm her guilt and she would see this as a good thing. She believes she deserves his scorn and anger as much as she wants to make him feel good.
