Non-contradictory votes will be combined as best as possible. There are occasional roles to keep things organic, but mostly it goes by voters choice. Unless specified otherwise, the best of 3 rolls is the result, and rolling high is good.Write-ins for all votes or always welcome and encouraged. Put your own spin on it, suggest dialogue, add an addendum, or anything else. Just because some options specify to write in, doesn't mean that they aren't welcome for anything else. They may not all make it into the post or be altered to fit in, but I'll do my best to at least try to address the spirit of the write-in.Very important or contentious votes may be redone in a stricter voting system as it comes up.---------------You whisper in Robin's ear. "Don't believe anything Antonio or I say to each other. Don't let him convince you of anything." You smile to yourself. She was probably expecting you to tease her, since that's what you always do when you whisper something to her. That's the confidence boost you need to clash with Antonio."Now don't you fall for this mans stories, you two." You get up and walk over to Vance and Eddie. "A con-man that admits what he is, is either stupid, or playing a different angle." He tries to hide it, but you catch a glimpse of him reacting to what you said.Antonio clutches his heart. "You wound me! Such sharp words from such a delicate flower." It looks to everyone else in the room that he's flirting with you, but you know he's calling you out as being like him. You're not like him, are you?(continued)
Calling it on Sergeant Moby for Gyarados.
You walk in close and talk to him quietly between the bars. "These are good people 'Antonio'. Don't try to play them." You look him in the eyes. These are your people. Well, maybe not Eddie, but you probably owe him. "And don't think about trying anything with me either. Even if I still have money leftover from the spa and splurging, I won't fall for it."He looks you up and down. He can see you aren't lying about the spa from your obviously treated hair, skin, nails, and everything else. A good lie always carries a nugget of truth. "I can see that. Do not worry. I h'would never try to con 'good people', as you say." His eyes keeps his eyes on you as he says that. You step back and continue talking so the others can hear. "Is this Jessilina woman not a good person?" Maybe you can trap him and show everyone else they shouldn't trust him. They should know better anyway, but you don't want to take chances."In fact, she is not. Her and her husband kidnap Pokeh'mon.""You mean they capture them," Eddie corrects."No! They do not 'capture' like you do. They set traps, use machines, and are very cruel. What I do, it is a service to Pokemon all over!" Antonio thumps his chest. It would be very convincing if you didn't know what he was.>Ask him what the safe combo is>Ask him more about Jessilina>Tell everyone he's a liar, and not to engage him at all>Something else

DDT is a chemical that used to be sprayed on crops to kill insects that ate the crops, it was also used to combat malaria and many other things. We had Malaria almost completely wiped out in US areas with people. Then a scientist came along with a study claiming that it was thinning the eggs of birds and harming them.So DDT got banned and Americia refused to provide aid to any country that used it. Resulting in millions upon millions of deaths worldwide.A few years later several studys were done (by independent companies) that found DDT had no adverse affects on the eggs of any species.Millions of deaths, good intentions. Millions of people still dead.

"How do you know that?""It is a poor con artist that doesn't learn about his targets. The only thing I wanted to know, was the code to her safe. The only Pokemon they treat with dignity is her Skitty. It is her one saving grace. That and her love-making, of course." There's something odd about how he transitioned from talking about the safe and then her Pokemon. You make a mental note."And what makes you think stealing a Pokeball will stop, or even slow them?"He smiles. He gestures for you to come in closer so he can tell you a secret. "It ees seemple. This h'is no regular Pokeball. Thees Pokeball can capture h'any Pokemon, in h'any condition, without fail.""Let me guess, you want us to finish stealing it for you. You're offering some sort of reward, I assume?" Hmph, you're a step ahead of him for sure."You would not do eet out of the goodness of your heart?" He's calling you out again. "Yes. I could offer a re'hward. You may be h'able to steal it where I failed and save a helpless Pokemon from their cruel clutches, but I can sell it. I could pay handsomely, since you've spent all of your winnings." He smiles again. You realize that the two of you have somehow gone back to talking in hushed tones. The others haven't been able to hear this. Did Antonio get you to do that, or was that just your instincts?>No way. >>30111106Maybe. If the info turns out to be on the up and up and these are, in fact, ruthless pokemon-nappers

>>30111106>No way. You won't be his pawnNah, man. Nah.But we're totally gonna investigate this shit. Abuse of power ain't fun, we know that from experience.
>>30111140>He tried to get me to steal, but I said no, no, no
I'm surprised people aren't jumping at the opportunity to get a ball that can catch a legendary without fail. I don't necessarily disagree, just surprised.
>>30111106"No sale, Antonio. All I've heard is your account, and there's no kind of corroborating evidence."
>>30111223It's not the potential payoff, it's the source of information. The whole setup seems fishy.
>>30111223Because it's bullshitYou never trust conmen
>>30111223We promised Robin that we'd stop stealing, or at least try to. Plus, he's a con man of his own admission, so he's most likely trying to further his own goals. Also, it would be best if we looked into this on our own, or alerted the proper authorities.I feel bad though, because I get the feeling we're ignoring Gobble's plot hooks one by one. Also, no mister ball for us.
>>30111106>No way. You won't be his pawn"I manage to get by. I have no reason to take this risk."He wants the ball, and will give us money. We don't need money, and if we keep it ourselves he becomes an enemy, fully capable of blackmailing us.
I think we should look into this ourselves but I have a feeling it won't be exactly obvious that she is stealing/abusing Pokemon.
>>30111372The issue is that could be a complete fabrication. We only have his word, which probably isn't much.We could seduce her I suppose, but I think Robin would object.
>>30111223Legendaries are the easy way out.
>>30111372I refuse. If it's a master ball, this is going to be some high-level shit and we could get into a lot of trouble with powerful people, besides, an ordinary pokemon trainer would probably think a masterball is bullshit
>>30111280Im not saying that we should be his pawn, we should milk as much information out of him as possible and figure a way to profit from it, either morally or some other way. (dem plothooks progressiong the story)Cant you guys just play along to this guy so we can lear just wtf is going on
>>30111456But I think we should look into it ourselves. We can take his information, but not all, or any, may be true.
>>30111439Legendaries are plot keystones, and Mt. Clarity looks plotty.
>>30111484Or we could be on our merry way to winning the pokemon league and leave this to the cops/others.Surely this one conman isn't the only one to notice them, others will act.
>>30111488Well, I think the story is bullshit too, but ordinary trainers would probably think the very idea of a master ball being real is bullshit or a scam
>>30111516Maybe, maybe not.
>>30111280>I feel bad though, because I get the feeling we're ignoring Gobble's plot hooks one by one.[Don't. Are you kidding me? I'm thrilled at the critical interaction. If I wanted to just type out whatever and not having player input, I'd just write a fanfic. This is much more satisfying to me, so don't feel bad. I feel great. If it becomes my story instead of our story, I'd be doing something very wrong. I'm not attached to any particular plot point, decision, or factor in the story, I'm just attached to the idea that we all craft it together. Please don't worry about the 'meta' behind your votes. Just go with what feels right to you for it.]
I almost feel bad for ignoring Gobble's plot hooks.Almost.
>>30111519Hmmm. You've a point too.Really, I just feel awful because I get the feeling we're ignoring any plot points Mr. Gobble is trying to give us. Surely we don't want our quest to be just going through the leauge/But thinking like that is meta gaming on a catastrophic scale.
>>30111555Oh, good then. It's totally called the Mister Ball.
>>30111555It's settled then. We ignore this and leave for Broader Horizons!
>>30111597It's the Lieutenant Ball you faggot
>>30111631No! It's a mister ball and it has a monacle around the button in the middle, with a black top and a red bottom
>>30111484Ofcourse. I though that was given. Indeed. Tealcface.jpg
>>30111672nah, lets not.
>>30111712I'd at least like to find out who the fuck Jessilina is and if what she's alleged to have been doing is in any way illegal (probably can just ask Robin). If it's just unsavory (which is how it sounded, unless it is aimed at owned pokemon, which I wouldn't be surprised if the master ball could catch) then it can be overlooked, but if she's a criminal, then her ass is fair game. (plus stopping people from mistreating pokemon is a pet issue).
What he's been saying about them abusing Pokemon strikes a chord, but he probably intended for that. Of course you'd be interested in a Pokeball like that, even if you sure that on an intelectual level that it's probably completley made up. You know you can't just take his word on that."Sorry Antonio. I won't play your game. I can't trust you about Jessilina."Antonio lets his frustration show, but only for a second. You take that as a good sign, he must have thought he had you. "I don't expect h'you too. But please, do your own research. Be open to reconseedering."A guard enters the room. "Alright. The captain says you're free to go." Your friends line up at the cell door. The guard looks at Antonio, "Oh no, not you. You're staying right there, stowaway."You, Vance, Robin, and Eddie are escorted to the public area of the ship. "The captain says dinner is in an hour." The guard heads back inside. The wind smells great. It smells like freedom.Eddie begins to walk off. "I'm going to get ready. "What do you know about someone named Jessilina? The uhh...stowaway was talking about her."The guard turns up an eyebrow. "Oh? I'm surprised. He was caught climbing up the side of the ship. I thought he just wanted a free ride." He thinks about your question. "Jessilina... oh that's right. Mrs. Jameson. She's in one of the upscale suites. I think she might be at the dinner you're going to. Sometimes the VIP's do that. I have no idea why. Captain Taylor is a good captain, but not much for small talk." He shrugs and walks off.Robin looks up at you. "Do you think Antonio was telling the truth, about her and her husband?""You forgot what I talk you already?" You tease her. "Antonio and 'the truth' have never met. Trust me. Vance, Robin, how about we get dressed up? We have a fancy dinner with our captain and jailor."Vance pats you on the back. "Sounds great! Your eyes go over the two sets of clothes Robin is trying to decide on. You consider asking her, but the simple truth is that you'd probably be spilling out of anything she lends you. You think back on the bikini she let you wear before. That was pretty tight. But you don't have to borrow anything to wear. You're loaded! "Robin! I need your help!" You grab her by the wrist and drag her to the fanciest clothing spot you can find on the ship. There aren't exactly a lot to choose from. You both rapidly go through the store in the short time you have until finally you find it. It's a small, simple, black dress. You quickly try it on. Oh yes, this will do nicely. Maybe it's because you're still seeing the effects of the spa, but you feel absolutely stunning. It's a strange sensation. You both run back to the Cabin and see Vance wearing a nice outfit. It comes together after he puts on the cape. Robin puts in the choker necklace you bought her. Both of them look as good as you feel. The three of you make your way to the captains cabin, where you see Eddie waiting outside. He's cleaned up, but his clothes aren't nearly as fancy."Aww man, I'm going to look like a tool." He whines.Vance takes off his cape and puts it on Eddie. He's already looking much better. Robin fixes up his hair a bit. There's just one final touch. He's got a terrible slouch. You lean over and look him in the eyes. He takes an extra long few seconds for his eyes to meet yours though. "You're looking sharp Eddie. Really handsome."He beams and stands up straight. He's looking a lot more confident now.A server comes out of the dining room. "Right this way please." He ushers your group into the room, where you see Captain Taylor and several people you don't recognize. The captain stands to great you. "Our guests of honor have arrived. >>30112889Eddie is a tiny worm as far as I believe.
Hey Mr. Gobble, what time zone are you in?
>>30112840You're just now getting the dynamic here? Eesh.
Vance, Robin, and Eddie all take their seats. They seem nervious. You can't say you feel differently. Everyone's staring at your group."Thank you." You do what you think is probably a curtsy and take a seat. You have no idea if that's the right thing to do, but nobody gasps or drops a monocle or whatever fancy people do, so you figure you're fine. The captain raises a glass. "A toast, to bravery and quick thinking!" A round of agreement follows, and everyone lifts a glass. "Where are my manners? Of course, introductions are in order." He goes around the table. There are about a dozen people here, including your friends. The captain names off the people around the table. The names that specifically stick out to you are Jim and Jessilina Jameson.Servers appear out of nowhere and begin serving the first course. There are terrifying and strange foods. Vance gobbles it down. Eddie pokes his with a fork from different angles, expecting it to move.Jessilina twirls her wine. "It's the only one I've ever had." That's a gigantic lie, but it fits through your teeth. To her credit, you see that Robin doesn't outwardly react. "Well your name is lovely as well."You didn't see it before because of the table, but Jessilina is feeding her Skitty. The small pink Pokemon meows as it's fed."What brings you aboard? Are you going to Aquapolis too, or are you going somewhere else?"Jessilina stops feeding her Pokemon. "Oh, I hear Aquapolis is lovely this time of year. I may drop in."That's a very nice non-answer. She's either hiding something, or just secretive in general."So Captain Taylor, have you ever seen Magikarp like that before?"The captain finishes chewing his food and swallows. "No, not Magikarp. They seemed unusually strong and skilled. They probably got overconfident. In all my years, I've never seen that happen. Magikarp are usually very passive, and unable to leap so high." He takes another bite, chews, and swallows. "But how you handles those Gyarados though, that is commendable. I don't think we'd be having this conversation if it were your the four of you."Robin looks at her feet. She doesn't feel like she did anything to help.>Your Pokemon deserve the credit>Vance was the bravest. He punched a Gyarados in the face>Eddie really saved the day>Robin had the best plan>Something else
>>30113493>Vance was the bravest. He punched a Gyarados in the faceThis deserves at least a mention.
>>30113493>>Your Pokemon deserve the credit>Vance was the bravest. He punched a Gyarados in the facetell me that ain't praise worthy
>>30113493>>Vance was the bravest. He punched a Gyarados in the face>>Robin had the best planToo bad she was shown such...gratitude afterwards.
>>30113493>Something else"We all pitched in. Eddie and I jumped in with our teams, Robin had the best and only plan out of all of us, and Vance punched a Gyrados in the face.""Go team."Give Robin a smile.
>>30113493>>Your Pokemon deserve the credit>Vance was the bravest. He punched a Gyarados in the face
>>30113493>Vance was the bravest. He punched a Gyarados in the faceLike seriously.
>>30113540Go Teamwork & Friendship!
>>30113493>Robin had the best plan"Shame the deckhands weren't doing their jobs in the first place."
>>30113493"Vance, Eddie, and I only stemmed the tide. It was you and Robin who finally drove them off."
>>30113493"Well, we can't take all the credit. Between our Pokemon and Robin's quick thinking, we'd probably be sunk."Also, I think this might be a good time to point out that I think Jessilina is suspicious as fuck and we should probably try to get some kind of read on her. Can't animals, especially street rats, sense that kind of thing?
>>30113624You'd think we'd have a few ranks in Discernment of the Poor yeah?
>>30113724Was thinking more a few ranks in Detect Bullshit or something.
>>30113624What'd she do that's suspicious buddy?
>>30113785She's rich. Isn't that reason enough?
>>30113802So are we
"We all pitched in. Eddie and I jumped in with our teams, Robin had the best and only plan out of all of us, and Vance punched a Gyarados in the face. In the face." You feel that part needs to be emphasized. "It was a team effort."Eddie, Vance, and Robin all appreciate your words. "It's a shame Robin was shown such gratitude. She was doing the job of the deckhands weren't." You smile and Robin. She blushes a little but smiles back. She's clearly uncomfortable with being the subject of the conversation.Captain Taylor takes a sip of his drink. "Yes. It was. I hope you don't take that personally." He looks at Robin. "You all have my thanks. Truly."Jessilina feeds her Skitty. "Whose my good little Skittles? You are!" She isn't paying much attention to your or your friends.>Try to figure out where Jessilina's room is>Bring up the stowaway>See if you can get a favor from the captain (write-in)>Something else
>>30113785Meta-senses are tingling. That's reason enough.
>>30113832"By the way, we met an interesting man in the brig. What's his story? He said something about a special Pokeball that was going to be used to steal Pokemon or some such thing. Ridiculous, really."Watch Jessilina without watching her.
>>30113832>Stowaway"So, I noticed you had a stowaway downstairs. How often do you have that kind of problem?"Judge Jessilina's reaction.
>>30113832>See if you can get a favor from the captain (write-in)Ya think we could get Vance another room? I'd like to have a private room with my friend Robin here if at all possible ya know?If there are any available I mean
>>30113864Wwwaaahhhahahay too obvious. Just bringing him up should give us what we need.
>>30113832>Bring up the stowaway
>>30113832>bring up the stowayand his vicious "rumors"
>>30113897Not really. The captain might know, but for Jessilina knows, it's just some stowaway punk. Now, mention said stowaway punk by -name-, and now we're talking.
>>30113864Wow, least subtle tactic ever. Don't you think that would put her on guard? Not to mention revealing her little paramour is still on board, which she doesn't necessarily know.
>>30113864You have never even fucking HEARD of the word subtlety, have you? Jesus christ.
>>30113923>>30113919One, Kat clearly has the most experience ever in social situations and bullshitting people. Two, who cares about subtlety? It's not really our problem, but it's something people might need to be aware of.Third, if she has some amazing Pokeball, and she reacts to our mention of it, there's a chance she might know where we could get one of our own. Barring that, we could appropriate hers.Fourth, I'm not hearing your suggestions.
>>30113918The name, yes. Good addition. But going over every detail of his story will absolutely NOT work.
>>30113968I'm just going to leave it to others to explain to you how and why you're dumb. Because I can't handle that amount of sheer stupidity.
>>30113832>Bring up the stowawaySince we are going to, regardless.'Aquapolis's quite busy this time of the year, isn't it?'Steer the conversation into unfortunate stowawaysThen;'Captain, would you mind sparing a few pokeballs? I used all of mine catching that blasted Gyarados. I thought I had him with the first, but shoot, he got away. A better ball might have done the trick.'
>>30113991So, you don't have an answer. All right.
>>30113994and that, gentlemen, is how you do subtlety.
>>30114035How is that even remotely subtle? She's focused on her Skitty, and there's many, many better Pokeballs that aren't experimental prototypes. "A better ball? She can't POSSIBLY mean my Mister Ball! How did she knoooooooow!?"
>>30114066That means, if anything, that it is too subtle. Not that it is unsubtle.
>>30114035>begging for pokeballs when we have more than enough cash to buy as many as we want.
>>30114087If it's too subtle to be perceptible, then it's something else entirely and eschews the whole subtle/unsubtle thing completely into "Casual conversation."
>>30113994This, minus the Pokeball stuff. Multi-tasking or I would come up with my own write-in.
>>30113116>Jessilina Jameson.>Jesse>JamesI see what you did there.gif
>>30114030... fine, then.Subtlety is this thing that we do when we want to find out things without necessarily announcing to everyone around us what we're up to. In this case, if we wanted to check into Antonio's story, announcing all of the details of his story shows our hand entirely. Jessi gets defensive, clams up, and we find out nothing. We get nothing, because she'd refuse to talk to us further about it, she'd be on guard so we couldn't go in and steal it later, and she's certainly not going to tell us how we could get a ball like it for ourselves. If we mention Antonio without his story, and gauge her reaction, we can begin to assess how much of his story was true and how much wasn't. NOW can you see why your suggestion was dumb?
>>30114159Except for the fact we're not a thief. We're not going to sweet-talk a random stranger into giving us access to her cabin and, thus, safe anyway. All I'm trying to do is confirm the existence of the ball. If she reacts to the story, regardless of how it's presented, we can confirm that it's on board and that Antonio wasn't necessarily full of crap. I'm not out to make Jessilina a friend or ally, just to see how closely we can trust the charming rogue in the cell.Besides, if she IS using the ball for nefarious purposes, you think she's not going to be able to outwit a young girl? If not, she's a pretty terrible evil mastermind.
>>30114159Furthermore, how will her reacting to Antonio's existence confirm anything more than she knows him or another man named Antonio? Just throwing out a single piece of information and hoping she bites has a high rate of failure. If we chum the water a bit, then start throwing out our lines, we're more likely to hook something.
"I met an interesting man in the brig." You coyfully play with your feed. "Tall, long black hair, very handsome. I think his name was Antonio."Jessilina freezes."Do you get a lot of stowaways, captain?"He sighs. "Absolutely not. It seems this has been a cursed journey from the start. I'd be very thankful if the rest of it is uneventful.Jessilina starts feed Skittles again. "Jim dear, I think I left my purse in our room. Would you mind getting it?"Jim looks confused. "But you have your purse.""No no. My other one. Just go to the room and fetch it for me Darling." She bats her eyes at him, and he gets up and leaves. "So...this stowaway. Antonio, was it? Did he have anything else to say? I'm sure a rotten stowaway would have quite of lot of tall tales."You hide your smile. So far Antonio's story is holding up. "Oh, he was rambling about some sort of Pokeball nonsense. I can't quite recall the details."She doesn't react to that last part. At least not visibly.>Excuse yourself, follow her husband to their room>Ask Jessilina something (write-in)>Tell Jessilina exactly what Antonio said>something else
>>30114316>your feedFood. Your food
>>30114316Can we get Vance to use Pursue?
>>30114237Confirming that Antonio and Jessi know each other is one step towards verifying his story, and bringing him up puts her off guard, making it easier to tease out information later. Going for the full story up-front is like using a sledgehammer when you should be using a scalpel. >>30114207Except for the part where Kat's been a thief all her life until recently, and Robin was even willing to let her steal in special circumstances. Confirming Antonio's story a bit at a time without arousing too much suspicion leaves more potential responses open later: up to and including appropriating the ball. Telling her outright that we know about the ball basically makes it impossible to act on what we learn from her response.
>>30114316Excuse self, go to bathroom. Wait.
>>30114316Eat.Who gives a fuck bout what some disgusting cfonman fucker was feeding ushe's a damn conman damnit
>>30114342Well, she is a Kat.
>>30114316Continue dinner, leaving now or pressing the issue any further would be incredibly suspicious.
>>30114348Eh, I'm done discussing it. Gobble hath spoken, and I'm out of fucks to give. You had a few good points, but in the end it was handled all right.
>>30114358Seconding. Let's ask for the extra room for us and Robin. We're being played here
>>30114207You are so colossally fucking stupid, holy shit.We ARE a thief.
>>30114316"Two purses? Very posh. I can see why the guy would have taken an interest in you. Some guys are really into rich women."
>>30114411Is this your first thread? If so, welcome aboard. If not, your reading comprehension is fucking horrible and you should be ashamed.
>>30114386And thanks to your retarded suggestion, we just showed our hand entirely. Bringing Antonio up shook her obviously, and mentioning the ball just confirmed her suspicions. I'm going with >>30114358 and >>30114398Abort mission. There's no way we can salvage this.
Get to eating, why the hell are we getting involved in this?
>>30114512What mission? The mission to find out if Antonio was talking shit or not?Because NOBODY BUT YOU wanted to go into her room, break open a fucking safe, and steal a special pokeball.Because that is a retarded plan. We should just blackmail her into not being shit to pokemon.
>>30114512Not really. We know that she knows Antonio, and that likely the ball's on board.Antonio knows where her cabin is. We have options.>Release Antonio, tail him, stop the robbery, pocket a reward/accolades>Release Antonio, steal the ball for ourselves>Agree to get the ball for Antonio, then steal it ourselves.
>>30114542muh sidequestsI don't much care about any of it.
>>30114559This guy gets it.
>>30114564We just blew Antonio's plan. We let her know he's still on board AND THAT HE WAS AFTER THE BALL. Trying to go through with a theft now is retarded.>>30114559Blackmailing her about her rendezvous is much more interesting. ++ to that.
>>30114606and I meant Antonio trying to go through with it as well, so the only viable plan was setting him up to get caught.
>>30114587Not really. He doesn't seem to be capable of differentiating "let's try and leave more options open for later by being subtle" from "we're totally stealing that pokeball, guys".If what he does counts as "getting it", I'm comfortable in my ignorance.
>>30114635>let's try and leave more options open for laterName one option that isn't 'steal the Master Ball', please.Just one.
>>30114606We can assume Antonio's old hat at this otherwise he wouldn't be choosing such well-connected targets (before you bitch about metagaming, they're rich which implies connections, which are further assumed because Masterball as neither one of them are in lab coats and this is a Pokemon game). So even if he were to go in and try to steal it, and maybe get caught, we could always back him up.Or kick his ass. Either/or.
>>30114656Blackmail. Sending Antonio up to steal it. Sending Antonio up to steal it, but selling him out. Destroying it. Taking it and using it to catch her Skitty, then leaving it with her. Just to fuck with her a little. Some combination of the above.
You decide to drop it for now. You have the nagging feeling that maybe you're just acting out the whims of whatever seed Antonio planted. You figure doing anything more right now would be suspicious anyway. You have free food, a captain that owes you and your friends, and no motivation to screw that up.You stuff your face in as lady-like a manner as you can before an idea hits you. "Captain, do you mind if I ask a favor?"He cocks his eyebrow. "Of course not.""Well, I don't want to put you in an awkward spot, but would you have a spare room? Robin, Vance, and I are sharing one right now, and I'm worried it will be a little cramped."Captain Taylor laughs. "Well certainly. That's the least I could do. I can even promise it won't have bars." Vance, Robin, and Eddie chuckle at the unexpected joke. "There are two V.I.P. rooms available. The four of you are more than welcome to them."That was easy. You enjoy the rest of your meal before things start to wind down. Well, you enjoy as much of it as you can. You can't identify most of it.It's getting pretty late.>Turn in to your new cabin with Robin>Stay up a bit, maybe you can fight a late battle on the deck>See if you can squeeze in some training on the deck>Something else.
>>30114746>turn itIt's been a long day, for Kat and her team.
>>30114746Deck training, but do it in an area that stands outside the jail. Antonio is going to try to break out tonight, I'm sure of it. He wouldn't have attempted to recruit us otherwise. Once he's out, "Oopsie" and he goes overboard again.
>>30114746>Turn in to your new cabin with RobinBut lay off the shenanigans, Jessi might show up.
>>30114746>Turn in to your new cabin with RobinWoowoowooowowowowtime for lewd right
>>30114746in addition to anything else, if our mons never got a trip to the healy-dealy, we should get on that.
>>30114749Do you live in your own little world?>>30114794Not our problem, and no longer something I care to get us involved with.
>>30114746Is this like a cruise ship? Like a paddleboat or something? Would there be a pool, or a hot tub? If not, maybe get a porter to bring up our bags and retire to our rooms.Should we warn the captain privately about Antonio's plan? The man may specialize in the con, but that's not to say he can't pick a lock.
>>30114746>Turn in to your new cabin with Robin
>>30114826Yeah, I'd go ahead and warn him. Because it's not like stepping in one way or the other is going to get us anything. I'd also warn him that Jessi is pretty spooked about it, and that she may try to "visit" us at some point during the rest of the trip.
Let's just get some sleep, we got a city and gym battle to get too guys. And ok Robin in a cabin too
>>30114860Probably smart to cover all our bases. And honestly, not trying to rock the /u/ boat here, but we need to put in some training time with Vance. He really saved our asses today, and he deserves to be more than a second-stringer.Heh. Fish pun.
>>30114905Just as long as heterofags dont try to make something outta nothing.Vance is a cool guy after all
>>30114746>Turn in to your new cabin with Robindo we still have that lingerie? maybe its time to bust that out again, see if we get a better ration this time
>>30114927Now, TO BE FAIR, Kat's hinted to be bi, and Vance could be ab option. GRANTED, something catastrophic would have to happen with Robin first, and the meathead would have to play all the right cards. "Vance! She broke my heart!" "There, there. I'm here for ya, my little Delikatty." Would be the right cards, by the way.
>>30114943nono, flop on bed fully dressed.wait for Robin to ask about clothesTHEN make with the lingerie.
>>30114927heterofags.I can't believe that is a thing that you said.I'd prefer there were no sexuality in this quest, but...wow. Thats...yeesh.
>>30114965>ab optionhee>>30114975>"Kat, aren't you going to take your dress off?">"My my, how eager.">"Uh buh I didn't-">"Heh. I'm too tired, you take if off me.">"Eeeeee."
>>30114987You do realize that "fag" isn't about being gay anymore, right? And that when the term no longer implies anything about sexual orientation, the term "heterofag" is just as reasonable as "questfag", or "newfag", or "oldfag"?
>>30114987Eh, I think an orphan like Kat would crave some kind of intimacy, sexual or otherwise. For her to completely ignore human companionship doesn't make sense, even if she's got hordes of Pokemon. You can only really emotionally connect with somebody of your own species, at least in a give-and-take sort of way.As for "heterofags," you know -fag has become internet shorthand for "I don't agree with this mindset." There was a lot of shit earlier on about people pushing for Kat x Vance, and it really became a dividing line that people just can't let go of.I don't know, the whole thing's silly to me. I'm in it for the battles and cute girls doing cute things.
>>30115035I'm in it for battles and cute girls doing cute things, too. I just prefer it when they're doing it with each other.
Votes counted. I have to head off. We'll be at it again tomorrow. Hopefully starting earlier in the day by a few hours if it can be helped.I know not a lot actually happened today. I hope everyone still had a good time. As always, don't be shy with criticisms, tips, requests or more. I'll make a new thread tomorrow, but try to answer anything posted here. Thanks to everyone who participated. You make my day!
>>30115017I am aware, but the idea that someone treated the idea of heterosexual relationship in this quest with such...derision...Its kinda sad. In the semi-desperate sort of way. It gives off the impression of someone trying really hard to shove their sexual fetish into something. As someone who doesn't think sex and pokemon go together, the idea is kinda bothering.
>>30115069Feel free to tell us to shut up when we're being stupid.
>>30115060Giggity.Kat used Lick!It's super-effective!Robin flinched!Kat used Whirlwind!Robin used Struggle!Kat used Bind!Robin couldn't move because of the binding!Kat used Pound!It's super-effective!Robin fainted!
>>30115077You're overthinking it. It's not the idea of heterosexuality being opposed, it's the people who push so hard for it STILL despite where the character is headed at the moment that are being opposed.
>>30114965no fuck you>>30115069athank you gobble i enjoy your quest a lot
>>30115069No. No, Gobble. YOU da bes', shawty.
>>30115069Plenty happened, don't worry. Battles all the time would be monotonous, threads like this are nice to break it up.
>>30115115Well I would have agreed with you that I was overthinking it, then >>30115122 posted and now I'm pretty sure I had exactly the right idea the first time...
>>30115122But I'm neither Vance nor Robin.
>>30115147Don't let a couple random fucksticks ruin things for you. I would say you're over-thinking it, and that later on if she breaks it off with Robin (first loves never last anyway), then she might end up going for a guy. It's just that currently, she's trying to eat Robin. Get it? Kat? Robin? Eh, you got it.
>>30115147dont let me influence your judgement on everyoneim feeling a little drunk tonight
>>30115182What's on tap?
>>30115165I guess. I think I'll just continue hoping that it turns out to develop more as a "big sister/Big brother/little sister" style familial relationship rather than the thing everyone seems to be so up in arms about.I think that would be the most touching, personally. Robin, Estranged from her dad, Kat, with no real parents to begin with, and Vance, in self-imposed "exile" finding familial comfort in each others company and reliance, without the need for excessive sexual intimacy.
>>30115115>You're overthinking it. It's not the idea of heterosexuality being opposed, it's the people who push so hard for it STILL despite where the character is headed at the moment that are being opposed.But... what? She's heavily hinted at being bi and whenever Kat being bisexual (let alone hetero) is mentioned the /u/boaters begin screaming and hissing.
>>30115195something embarrassingly light since it's my first time drinknig
>>30115213Eesh. I'd rather drink something stronger that tasted good myself, but that's just me. What do you like, bitter things? Sweet things?
>>30115247it was bitter but im going to sleep now so goodnight sleep well anon
>>30115261A'ight, later.Next time try getting some Kraken. It's good stuff.
