He soon left with Bulma, and you spoke with Fita's parents about preparing healing tanks for Huhn-tresh. They assured you the tanks would be ready within twenty four hours, and gave you the robot you requested for Korin. You delivered it to him, and he gave you a few senzu beans as thanks. You then proceeded to test your ability to move objects via Instant Transmission. After you were satisfied, you decided to visit Kami and continue your psychic training. You learned how to trigger visions, and what you saw was most disturbing.
Kami rises to his feet, concerned etched into his features. He motions for you to stand as well, before turning and walking to his throne, taking a seat."Can you tell me more specifically what you saw?" he asks. "I have had visions myself. Perhaps one of us has seen things the other has missed.">A. Say something>B. Do something
>>29971576>B.Tell Kami exactly what you saw.
>>29971576>A"Three distinct sets of images. The first was a city in flames, with two figures. One with black hair and blue eyes, one with blonde hair and blue eyes. The sense of familiarity suggests 17 and 18, though the lack of context means they could have been attacking, or being attacked, or merely bystanders.""The second was a fighter of massive power with gold, spiky hair and a golden aura. I got the sense that he was far from Earth, however, and I have no clear sense of his intent.""The third was of a short, green alien, also far from Earth. The planet was practically one big storm. There was a temple, and deep beneath it was some sort of pink ball. The quantity of ki there was mind-boggling, but that was nothing compared to how foul it felt."
>>29971714>>29971620You tell Kami in much greater detail what you saw. He looks more and more troubled with every word that exits your mouth, hunching in his throne and putting his head in his hands."I had seen some of those same visions" he tells you. "The city in flames, the ball beneath the Earth. This golden haired fighter on a far off world and a temple on another world are new to me. However, there are some things in the two visions we both had that you seem to have not seen. This is understandable, you are new at this, and performing remarkably well. But, let me show you some more."He places a hand on your forehead, and you return to the visions. You see the city in flames once more, the flashes of blonde and black hair, the familiar icy blue eyes. But, now you hear laughter, two voices, one male and one female. One you recognize instantly, having heard that mocking laughter many times before. The female laughter is harder to place, but you soon figure out who that is as well. Doctor Gero and Doctor Gurba, laughing from whatever wretched abyss they dwell within now. Behind the icy blue eyes you soon see a pair of red eyes, and hear an unfamiliar, triumphant laugh. The scene shifts to the ball beneath the surface of the Earth, where the small green alien examines it as if it is a precious jewel. At his side stands a towering, imposing figure with pointy ears, black hair, and a wicked grin. As you watch, the pink ball pulses with energy.Kami removes his hand from your head, and the visions subside. "Now you have seen all that I have seen.">A. Say something>B. Do something

>>29972038"So, what do you even do with information like this?" you ask. "One misstep and you could end up causing these things, or something even worse, to happen."He sighs. "And that is the problem with psychic powers. You see glimpses of what can be, not things that must be. You must make a decision on how to approach things. Do you do nothing and perhaps let them happen? Or, do your attempts to stop them end up causing them? There is no way of knowing for certain, and if and how you address them if up to you. I generally wait and observe, taking action when I am more certain of things. Your way seems to be to prepare yourself as best you can and face what comes head on. I caution you not to assume anything based on what you have seen, and to keep an open mind. In time, things will likely become more clear.">A. Say something>B. Do something

>>29980727>A"Well, one of those is something I'm not going to allow to happen, but otherwise yeah. More fights.""Let's all go out for dinner. Then we can take the kids to watch a movie about a panda doing kung-fu. We can be deliriously happy for a few hours."
>>29980727Woah. When was the last time you had a decent fight woman?
>>29980818She's excited by your visions because they imply more enemies to fight
>>29980727A."...that was the absolute last response I was expecting." Then >>29980851
>>29980727dick in mouth
>>29980851>>29980940>>29980945"Well, one of those is something I'm not going to allow to happen, but otherwise, yeah, more fights" you confirm. She squees in absolute delight. "Let's all go out for dinner" you suggest. "Then we can take the kids to watch a movie about a panda doing kung-fu. We can be deliriously happy for a few hours.""Oh, I'm sure I can keep you deliriously happy for a few hours after that" Fita says with a smirk.>A. Say something>B. Do something
>>29981086>AI need to get ominous visions more often....
>>29981086A."Wait, you know pandas that do kung-fu?"Then IT behind her and grab her ass while our stupid paralyzes her.
>>29981086>A I never knew fighting turned you on so much...
>>29981086This is starting to sounds like a fun night.>Gather everyone and head to the theater
>>29981086>A"... god, I'm one lucky bastard.""FAMILY OUTING TIME!"
>>29981212>>29981180"God, I'm one lucky bastard" you comment. She grins. "Yes, you are. And don't you forget it.""FAMILY OUTING TIME!" you shout.Salta, Spina, Fita, and all of the children other than Bardock and Onia soon gather, and you all set out for a nice family evening.>Any questions before we conclude?
>>29981390None from me. It was fun, and surprisingly no one really tried to troll the thread and make Frank murder himself or loved ones. Seeya tomorrow
>>29981390Blow up the planet.WAIT FUCK
>>29981461Have a good night>>29981470Kinda redundant at this point>Any questions?
>>29981390are... are bardock and onia soing something lewd?they're like... almost family
>>29981390So I take it we managed to not ruin our shot with 18.
>>29981497Yes, in fact you greatly strengthened your chances with her. Well done.>>29981488They went to hang out with Goku and Chi Chi>Any more questions?
>>29981514Speaking of 18, would the hug/kiss option have helped or hurt our chances?
>>29981514Actually, I had one for the group about what ki weapon we want to make.
>>29981514did they go together or like... bardock to hang out with chi chi and onia to hang out with goku?
>>29981588Just a hug would have had no effect, trying to kiss her would have hurt your chances.>>29981601Which do you prefer, anon?>>29981598That is an important questions>Any more questions?
>>29981621Yay I was rightish!
>>29981621I want Bardock to get with Chi Chi. just because we can have a kid like Gohan and end up having him hook up with Videl eventually
>>29981621Question, which hairstyle is Bulma currently sporting?>Which do you prefer, anon?It would be weird if Goku and Chichi didn't get together
>>29981598Thats a good question. I know several people want some sort of fist weapon. While I see the merit in that, from what I understand a ki weapon isnt going to do much more than our normal attacks would, so it would make more sense to increase our range, by choosing a sword/mace/axe/polearm.
>>29981689Indeed>>29981710>>29981713Seeing conflicting opinions here. Also, Bulma is currently sporting the haircut she had on Namek.>Any more questions?
>>29981767Does Frank have any special training in certain weapons over others or is he pretty well rounded as far as weapon training goes? Also what exactly does a ki weapon add to our fighting ability.
>>29981621I still like the idea of a straight sabre with a trench-knife style hilt and guard.
>>29981858He's only ever used a sword, and the Ki weapons work the way normal weapons would on a regular person on people at your power level. Basically, with a ki sword, you could cut Bardock in half>>29981870There will be plenty of time to discuss this>Any more questions?
>>29981759axe sounds good
>>29981858Frank learned how to use sabre-style weapons, and can release a kamehameha along the edge of the blade in something similar to the kienzan.Other than that, it adds a dimension of depth to our strategic options, same as fighting with a sword against an unarmed opponent always does.
>>29981901>you could cut Bardock in halfThat reminds me, we need to make a clear rule that you never charge your weapon in a sparring match. Lost limbs and lives errywhere.
>>29981973They're always charged, but okay>Any more questions?
Next update tomorrow starting between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM>Any last questions?
>>29982033Then we uncharge themno need to be so anal over trivialities man
>>29981901Oh. Well holy shit thats pretty damn good. In that case I really think that using a fist weapon is not the best idea. But there can be good ones. Ill dump some quick pics and links for discussion.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deer_horn_kniveshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katar_(dagger)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pata_(sword)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Push_daggerhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wind_and_fire_wheelsI think the Deer horn knives and w&f wheels are coolest looking imo. But the Pata and Katar could be very effective.
>>29982128this is probably the closest to a sword, and so might be easiest for frank to get used to
>>29982170thoughts so far anons?
>>29982228And finally the wind and fire wheels.
>>29982228Not a fan of weapons that put the blade in-line with your wrist, and weapons like deer horn knives are too short to make proper use of what a ki sword actually gets us.A sword or a halberd of some kind would be ideal.
>>29982228yesI think you should kill yourself.
>>29982326Anon, please. Be nice
>>29982383Fuck you. Get off /tg/. The other quests are bad enough, but this one has to be the worst yet. Go masturbate to your anime harems in /a/, if you're not going to do the world a favor like I suggested.
>>29982444I'm sorry you're being forced to participate in these threads. But I'll tell you what, tell my agent that is currently holding a gun to your head to stop digging it so firmly into your skull and we'll call it even, alright?
>>29982326Well I'll keep that in mind anon.>>29982313Yeah, I would agree with that. As far as 'fist' weapons go these seem like the best option. It just does not make any sense to go with a gauntlet only type. Which is why I think the Pata or Katar would be actually useful in a fight. Actually I wonder if Frank could use a Pata and a Katar? It would essentially just be the same fighting 'style' as a sword and dagger. But I imagine that might be a little too much.>>29982444Damn you are hostile arent you anon?
>>29982498Wow so edgy and cool, all your agents and guns and being where I am right now. How about you get off /tg/ before I get you banned for being underage?
>>29982566I'm 18, bro
>>29982574Then you got problems man, cause you talk and act like a 12 year old.
>>29982574Goodnight SOM, sorry I didn't participate, I was at a party.
>>29982262I like this particular type of spear: it seems like it could be pretty flexible in how you use it, especially at shorter lengths. We'd probably want to have Huhn-Tresh teach us spear-fighting, though. That shit's not exactly intuitive.
>>29982610Opinions. I'm not the one feeling the need to go and throw tantrums in threads I don't like when I can quite easily ignore them.>>29982621It's all good, goodnight Anime
>>29982640Why should I have to ignore something that is taking up scape that could be used by quality threads?
>>29982636Okay, just from the shape that looks like a variant of a Ranseur. And I agree that does look good. We would also want something that can be brought to bear at close range so we don't suffer as badly from someone getting under our guard and kicking our ass.>>29982621Anime, if you can you should stay and discuss weapon choices. I would appreciate your opinions. The weapons i've listed above are just some of the interesting hand/fist weapons that I saw on wikipedia, that I felt were usable and gave us an added benefit, unlike brass knuckles.
>>29982710There's this nifty little thing called autosage. Threads that nobody has any interest in will be bumped out of the catalogue by threads people participate in. Also, ignoring something is not some big deal, if takes literally zero effort.>Goodnight everybody, see you all tomorrow
>>29982793Night Som, thanks for running as always.
>>29982807Goodnight Mathrian, thanks for being an awesome participant, as always
>>29982793yeah, and good threads get autosaged cause your quest pulls all the retards in
>>29982710Dude, calm the fuck down. There's still plenty of room for all kinds of threads here. SOM pisses me off at times too, but I at least want him improve and provide criticism. Besides, if you don't have any useful criticism and just want to be a faggot, do it elsewhere.Pic related, it's you.
>>29982858>wanting som to improveit's been almost a hundred threads manhow long are you gonna hope
>>29982793Goodnight SOM>>29982807Yeah I can stay for a while longer, what about a whip? A normal human swinging a normal whip can almost break the sound barrier, so imagine what we can do with one.
>>29982818Np, also just so you know the last couple threads haven't been archived. Ill do it myself if I notice it hasn't before it sages, but you may want to archive them yourself before you conclude.
>>29982887It's on again off again. And he did change the voting system. It took nearly a hundred fucking threads to happen, but it's progress.
>>29982756The cross-shaped yari would probably be fine in close quarters if the shaft is short enough, and the shaft itself will still be charged with ki, so it'd be good for defending.Although I'd love to see a sword that could extend like the power pole, that's just me.
>>29982909Well that is a point. But check here >>29981901A whip would only be as effective as a normal whip against someone of an equal power level. As a result, a whip, which is not very lethal pale in comparison to a sword or other bladed weapon. >>29982636I personally am also fond of a Glaive of some sort. Theres also tons of different ways you can make a glaive work. Google it real quick. From looking at it, it seems you would also be able to use it in fairly close quarters, if it was made right.
>>29983063You mean like augus's sword from asura's wrath? That would be badass.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86uGIxonLa0Skip to 8:14
>>29983064Yeah, I guess that's true.A glaive or some sort of polearm would be sick, I would prefer a bill myself, it has all the slashing power of a sword and the stabbing power of a spear, though it'll probably be hard to learn how to use it, and we would need to find a teacher.
>>29983247Forgot my pic
>>29983247As far as a glaive goes i think something like this would be good. It would allow us to use both ends, and use the butt of the weapon as a bash/slash in close quarters.
>>29983147I was thinking more like Shinsou, personally. Less about length, more about the speed at which it changes.
>>29983315This same kind of setup would also be effective in my opinion. Obviously some of it is a little over the top and more decoration than usefulness, but Im just trying to quickly find reference images.
>>29983274>>29983299God, I love that sword. So much that seeing Gin use it against Aizen was the only thing that kept me interested in the series.
>>29983315I'd be down for that.I have this entire book on medieval weaponry, if I could find it I could suggest more stuff.
>>29983365I wonder if we could IT the blade into someone?
>>29983401Heres a great reference pic. Maybe have the butt of the weapon more capable of slashing or at least stabbing like >>29983315and>>29983356but even so a blunt point like that can easily penetrate you with enough force
>>29983485What about if we just get one of these?
>>29983485I still heavily favor the sword, but whatever. We can discuss it later.
>>29983543Well while double ended weapons like that look cool, the majority of the time they are severely impractical. Because of how polearms work you generally need to grip lower on the staff part. So having a blade there generally fucks you up. Something like >>29983485 only works because it occupies such a small part of the other end of the weapon. And even then, it might not be a good idea to make it capable of slashing, due to the possibility of maiming yourself.>>29983553Thats fine with me anon. Both swords and and polearms have something to offer and I think we may even be better off having a sword and glaive, for different situations.
>>29983680Yeah, I'm justing throwing suggestions at this point, hey I'm gonna go to bed now, It's past midnight here. have a good night/day everyone. See ya tommorow.
>>29983741Seeya tomorrow man. It was good talking to ya
>>29983680>getting two weapons, which Huhn-Tresh's people consider sacredThere's a limit to how far we could push that. Also, we can release energy from the weapon itself, so really any advantages a polearm would have in terms of spacing are moot. In fact, it would be interesting to ask why Huhn-Tresh still favors a polearm.
>>29983790lol yeah, I'm not saying it would be easy or anything, I'm just putting out ideas of what would be effective. I think really though more than anything its going to come down to flavor. Also a point, the glaive here>>29983485 is a little bigger than a claymore. So size wise I think its a good compromise, between a longsword which is 39-51 inches while a glaive was around 6-7 feet long in totally. What I'm suggesting isn't really going full polearm, since I think a weapon thats 7-16 ft long is not very useful against anything but cavalry.
