Sorry for the delay I had to deal with something first and then 4chan decided to delete everything because the post was to long
--------------------------------------------------------------------

>Tell them about the the scene as you were leaving the bar.

You decide to finish your bit of fish before speaking, after all, manners first. You slowly chew on the fish, savoring the taste of real fish, good fish too and as you swallow you take a sip of wine to was down the taste.

"So I guess the best place to start is at the point in which we decided to leave and not go in. As I got in the car to all three of out surprises Tim, Sam, and I this man was thrown out the window! So we rushed into the cab trying to avoid whatever happened next and as the driver was peeling off, this guy pulls out a gun and opens fire on the hole he just made."

As you finish speaking you look towards both your boss and supervisor who have this looks of amazement on their faces, but also two other emotions as well. On Emanuel's there is worry, worry that he sent you to this place that almost killed you. Rolan's face though, there is a different emotion on his face you just can't quite put your large over sized finger on.

After more small talk, you all finish your meal, Rolan picks up the check and you all leave. As you get into Rolan's car though you can't help, but bring your mind back to his face.

Well, we still know that the boss might be up to something. He WAS smoking synthgars yesterday...

Let's get our supervisor friend to make some introductions at the Speed Runner tonight. Also, I want to get some info on that kid in the waiting room, and a fixer might help with fingering him.

I agree. I want to try being on the side of the table with the money to spend tonight!

As you sit there, hunched over uncomfortably in the the Eurocar, Rolan's face seems harder to remember. Maybe, it all in you head from earlier. You know he is nervous about you already, why would he let his face betray that? You attempt to lean back a bit, your horns now scraping the top of the car a bit so you lean back in. Your 'link suddenly chirps.

>EMANUEL: Sorry to have sent you into that Frank, I didn't think it was that dangerous of an establishment.

Suddenly your Commlink chirps again.

>KID: Hey, biggun I wanted to send you my info while I had the free time

You cock your head looking at the name, who in their right mind uses a name like that? Soon you are back at Ares Plaza and out of the cramped car. Stretching before you head back in Rolan pats you on the back and looks to you with a smile. "Don't forget our talk Franky, hope to talk to you soon."

Let's see if Sam is susceptible to THE TROLL MAGIC!

Afterwards, let's make a plan with Emanuel to head to the Speed Runner and talk to the bartender, make an evening out to go slumming. Which means TROLL DRESS UP and TROLL ARMAMENT.

Also, what kind of weapons do we have, other then our "guns" and our TROLL MAGIC? We got a Predator VI, or anything more exotic, like an Ares Executive Protector with attache gunport?
>>

We probably have a Predator. I mean, everyone and their mom has a Predator in an Ares owned corp. The company likely gives em out every Christmas as stocking stuffers at the company party.

We are a wage mage under the corporate thumb in a non-combat field of work.

Also there is about 6,400 nuyen in Frank's account right now. So if you really wanna get you have some money for it, but it took Frank a couple years to save the money he had before Emanuel gave him 5000 nuyen.

It's obvious, anon. Hire people to get to the bottom of this mystery!

You strut back to the elevator after your stretching and get into the cramped box that they call an elevator and ride it back up to the office, you find most of the office is also finishing lunch, though that is a some "food" delivered on a cart.

You sit back down next to Sam and lean back in your chair about to log back in, and she looks to you and smiles, her mouth full of soy bologna.

"How was lunch bigshot? You get into any fights while you were out?"

You smile and shake your head, "No Sam, for once I didn't, and lunch was delicious. I ate REAL food, unlike you." You flick the air in front of her face since you don't want to break her nose or anything.

You lean back in, logging back into the your node.

You get up as you log out, Sam looking back, a bit bewildered "Done already Frank?"

"Nah Sam, decided to go take a pitch job, impress some people with all that dedication." You laugh and pat her on the should as you leave the cube. A couple other people are leaving to do onsite jobs as well. You get into the elevator with two other people, both of them elves. This office did have more Elves and Humans than other race, but then again most trolls or orks aren't as charming as you are. The three of you get off at the garage and head for the car marked on your pan. Its a Ford Americar with an adjusted roof so you don't have to lean in. As you get in the driver hands you the water gun. It looks some-what real, besides the the pump which is colored and fashioned to look like part of an automatic rifle, also the top that screws off to be filled with water helps with that.

After a drive into Tacoma you find yourself outside Tyreese's Toyland, a colorful place, if not garish and as you walk in you see just racks and racks of toys a lot them actually look hand made instead of the mass produced plastic that the Megas sell. At the counter is an older looking black man who puts his hands up as he spys the gun.

"Holy shit man, I don't want no trouble!"

You can tell he probably already hit the panic button, maybe just by impulse of seeing a hulking troll with a gun.

"You gonna get it now Troggy. Robbing my store! Who steals toys anyway!" He yells to you. The Dwarf still trying to tackle you. You start to stammer in dis belief as you turn around, getting pushed further and further into a rack.

Another officer walks in and picks up the water gun, looks at it for a second, and then grows the biggest shit eating grin. He then proceeds to pump it a couple times and shoots the dwarf in the back with it.

"Now who the hell jus-" The dwarf turns to see his partner hold the water gun and squirts him again, straight in the face, soaking his beard. The dwarf then simply laughs as well and Tyreese starts to nervously laugh as well

"You mean ta tell me this was a sales pitch? What the hell is wrong with you people! Why would you walk into a store with a water gun that looks that real!" You lean on the counter about to speak

"I am gonna get this thing for my kid when this comes out," The Dwarf says still laughing as he tries to dry out his beard.

His partner looks to him and nods. "Yeah, I agree, my kids gonna love this."

Tyreese finally breaks his stare and looks down at the table.

"So sir, how about it?" You look at Tyreese, giving him the toothest grin as you wave a hand to the cops.

"I'll take enough stock for Christmas." Tyreese sputters out.

"Wait, what?" You look back at the store owner who just is looking down at his table.

"You heard me Trog, set me up for enough orders for Christmas." Tyreese responds back

You nod and go back to the car, grabbing a tablet and entering in the order and send it to the factory.

You head back in to get the water gun, but decide to give it to Tyreese. "Here, for your kid."

"Thanks." Tyreese leers out of you, wanting you out of his store now.

You lean over and shake your hand slightly in the driver's face. He seems unphased as you obstruct his vision, the car moving slowly with traffic.

Your 'link suddenly chirps with Sam's response

>SAM:"I'ld like to hear it, on coffee break right now so I got a couple minutes. Did you make the sale?"

You are still looking at Bob, and notice how dead and emotionless his face looks right now

You decide to leave him be for a minute and text Sam back.
"I'll tell you when I get back or if its to late, after the Circle meeting if you wanna get drinks."

Sam quickly responds back with a 'Sure', but you look back to the driver.

You suddenly realizes his skin is synthetic, As are his eyes, and even his hair. That this is just a drone covered in enough synthetic skin to look human.

You lay back in your chair and sigh, pulling your brief case out of the back, opening it and looking for your new gun. It came with two complimentary clips of ammo. .

You examine the weapon from all angles, something that terrified the car next to you. Its a nice gun, so nice you don't notice the horrified person.

After realizing you don't even know how to take apart a gun you put it away and try on the gloves, admiring them for a minute, balling your hands into fist to see how they stretch.

After examining your purchases and putting them back you see that you are back to a normal speed and the GPS says you will be to the Tacoma Knight Errant Station in two minutes. Its about 4:30pm.

The car pulls up to the Station, a plain three storied building with an old style of architecture, possibly pre-21st century, then again you never did pay much attention to such things in school. As you walk in though, a message comes up to your pan before your 'link has a chance to chirp.

>"Hello citizen, we are rather short-staffed at the moment, to move you through the system faster choose the offense."
>I am...-
>.Reporting
>Visiting
>Turning yourself in
You pick the 'Visiting' option and scroll to the police menu and take a couple minutes to find the cops from earlier. You see that the menu choices says they are in pursuit of a criminal.

It does say you can leave a message so you decide to leave your contact info so they can reach you later along with a thank you for the help earlier. You feel rather let down that they weren't available to talk to in person, but the job of a civil servant is never done. You head back to your car and get back in, the drone turning to look at you.

"Mr. Dodge I need to take you back to Ares Plaza for your Circle meeting. With the traffic you will arrive in an estimated two hours." You roll your eyes and get in the car, getting back into traffic and after two long hours you are back in the Ares Plaza garage, the drone getting out and opening the door for you.

You get out, grabbing your new "toys" heading for the elevator, yawning as you push the button.

You decided you are already late enough as is. They aren't really going to care so you hit the button for your work floor. On arrival everyone there are still some people working, but many of them have gone home by now.

You stop by your Cube, Sam seems to be setting the coffee maker as she is about to leave. She looks up throws up her arms and hugs you, you can tell she is tired because it seems she did it so she wouldn't need to stand on her own.

"So, what's the story? Is it the briefcase?"

No need to make her worry too much about us, and showing her our major purchase would make her worry, even if she looks cute when she fears for us. At most, show her the hardliners, but scoot to the circle meeting after that.
>>
>>29476525

>>
You set the coffee maker to make a couple cups, and you move to lean on your desk. With a smile you start your story for the tired Sam, who collapses into her seat.

"Well it all started when I got to the toy store, you see me, being the huge, hulking, and dull troll I am bring in the water gun I was gonna sell. Now this dude freaked out seeing what from the distance looked like a real gun!
Now here is where you are gonna laugh, never being stuck in this situation I drop the thing and try to tell him its fake, but he pulls a freaking gun on me." Sam's eyes start to widen at the mention of a gun, but you continue.

"So here I am backing out of the store when this dwarf with Knight-Errant tries to charge me down, now he is only just pushing me back into the store, which until he see's the cops panics him more, but when things start getting intense the other cop grabs the water gun, realizing what it is and fires it at his partner."

At this point, Sam is about to go into fits of laughter, you still continue with a smile on your face as well.

"So after the police find out what is going on, I approach the counter trying to play it all off, when this store owner starts trying to push me out, calling me a trog and acting just like an old ignorant man, when I give him the old dead eye. And, I'll tell you, I will tell you after giving him that dead eye for a good five minutes he relents and not only buys stock for a week he buys enough stock for Christmas!"

Sam's eyes are widening even more and she finally speaks "Are you serious?"

You just nod back, now pouring yourself some Kaf, "Yep."

She smiles and cheers. "Niceee! Maybe they'll at least give you a properly sized apartment now, I've been in there, you look like some teenager stuck in a kid's room."
You both laugh about it, but you check the clock in the corner of your PAN 6:45p.m

"Hey, where is everyone? I'm not early am I?"
>>
So as you get up, you remember something real quick and pull some out some hardliner gloves out of your pocket and put them on to show Sam.

She looks them over, somewhat confused as to what they are. "What are they?"

You chuckle a bit and try to act all 'all knowingly' "They are Hardliner gloves and lets say they help me pack a couple more to my punch" You throw some fake jabs and she just shakes her head and laugh. "Yeah, like you need more punching power. Now go to that meeting you are probably super late for." You nod and grab your kaf, making it to the elevator, you push the button to go to one of the top floors of the building and after the doors open you briskly jog to the meeting room, sipping your Kaf and upon opening the doors, you cock your head quizzically.

There are only two people here. Both of them with heavy magic signatures. You lean in to the door and look around, nope. You three are the only ones here. You then shuffle in and look back to them. "Is the meeting over?"

Neither of them look at you, but one of them does respond, "Sort of, everyone went out for drinks. We stayed behind so you had a ride to the bar. One of them gets up and walks towards you, though you can't see his face from under his hood, but you do see his hand as he stretches it out. It, its covered in bugs.

Yeah this is either "OH SHIT" territory or completely normal.
>>
>>29478314
This is completely OH SHIT territory. Basically, mages who have a bug for a totem are the kind of crazy that the elder gods try to find in their followers. This is compounded by the fact that Ares is the biggest anti-bug corp in the setting, so much so that they nuked Chicago to stop them.
>>
>>29478427
Basically, Insect Shamans are cultists, and the Insect Spirits they worship are Cthulhu.
>>
>>29478427
>>29478472
I take it's going to be hard to take them guys down?
>>
>>29478238
I don't care for Twitter to much. I can get one if you guys want but my schedule is:

Sunday: 5pm-12am
Tuesday: 5pm-12am
Friday:5pm-12am
Saturday:5pm-12am
>>
>>29478758
At least I TRY to make it for 5. And unfortunately I just realized I won't be available to do Tuesday, I am gonna try for Thursday night.
>>
>>29478652
Well, when fighting them, remember the phrase "Geek the Mage First". They'll be bastards to deal with from a distance. Thankfully, we have a brand new toy to show them!
>>
>>29478652
No, the spirits that they might hypothetically summon would be hard to take down. These chaps, though, are just regular flesh and bone.

Oh, also, we really need to get stick-n-shock for our gun. Less-lethal is always preferable, and a micro-tazer will drop a man just as easily - or even easier than - a bullet.
