"Richard, bring us around!" Immediately your driver begins to turn Black Jack's fifty tons of bulk so that it's strongest armor was faced against the flanking Shermans. "Rose, first in the line!" You say, flipping the commander's override and bringing the bouncing, jostling turret onto the target. "Range: Close. On target!"You are Commander Russells of the M26E1 Pershing heavy tank "Black Jack", and the expertise of your crew is clear from how quickly you've reacted to the three Saunders' Shermans rounding the hill. "Up!" Roy shouts as the breech closes."Firing." Rose says under a grimace- the tank is still in motion, making what should be a fairly accurate close-range shot a close miss- the 90mm bouncing high and sending the round high into the hill behind the lead Sherman."Miss!" You say, watching through the periscope as the lead Sherman, attempts the same shot- theirs is wide, pass harmlessly off to your left- they seem just as surprised to see you as you are to see them.Bad luck on you- Saunders already has the advantage in the cat-and-mouse between Kay's Firefly and your Pershing.>Keep moving- pull back and keep firing.>Stop and get a clear shot.>Advance and try to push them into a retreat.>Other.

>>28953379>>Keep moving- pull back and keep firingGet the hull gun going, Use it to try and blind the lead tank, or perhaps panic a green crew.
Now that we're in the tournament proper, I'd like to ask something. I'm not sure if this is covered by the rules, but oh well. In the situation that a tank gets de-tracked, is the opposing team still allowed to do a permanent knockout shot at the disabled unit? The anime didn't really show if it's alright, rule-wise.
>>28953707I certainly wouldn't see why not
>>28953686the .30 cal MG? at that point lets use the coax and the top mounted .50 for full suppression... that's actually a good idea, add that to >[x] Keep moving- pull back and keep firing.>>28953707I would say yes, but if the crew is out and trying to fix it, it makes sense to yell FORE!
>>28953754The fifty requires that we get out of the turret, what with it being on an antiair mount. The coax is well coaxial with the main gun, requiring that we deflect the turret. The hull gun is ball mounted, and with our being in contact, our radio man needs something to keep him in the game.
>>28953707If they get mobility killed and fire killed, they're basically out.But any shot that would be a penetrating shot counts asa knock-out. I don't remember if they simulate spall or not.On another note, can we save writefagging until the end of the thread, or at least when we know Blackjack definitely ISN'T going to post? The last two threads have been a little bit cluttered and I reckong we should tone it down a tad bit.
>>28953824eh, sounds good to me.
>>28953857the heck am I looking at?
>>28953824Really? In the anime, when Anzu knocked off the IS' tracks, they fix it up and had Nonna drive it. Same with the T-34's she track-shot. The Jagdpanther they Hetz'ed later on moved on when they fixed theirs up again, too.
>>28953824they're allowed to do in-field repairs (I'd guess so long as they're not actively being fired at). I think this would cover anything but a knock-out hit
>>28953824Why? By the time BJ's done posting, it's sunrise in most of the U.S., and anyone who WAS going to write, or had something already planned and written, has long since wandered off to get some sleep. It's a hell of a time trying to stay in a thread with updates every two hours and nothing to do in between. I don't think it's any coincidence that the threads with writefagging in between BJ's posts have considerably less shitposting and drama than the ones without.
>>28953902Those weren't also f-killed, and they didn't stick around to finish them off, either. What I was saying was having your gun and your tracks shot out is essentially a kill, as you can neither fire nor move. I'm not really sure how easy it is to fix a gun after it's been hit, either.
>>28953933It's "only" usually around 3 AM when BJ's done posting on the west coast usually. I do agree though, us east coasters do get the short end of the stick.
Rolled 14>>28953958Being a Panzer
>>28953933Less clutter. I get peeved when someone posts a writefagging and then in the middle of that is BJ's post.about now would be a good time to post it, as we've already voted on a choice and BJ isn't going to post for a while.
>>28953964That might work for weekends, but "only" 3 AM really screws over anyone who has to work the next day, east coast or west.
>>28953960...well, ok. That wasn't my question, though. I was asking if it's against the rules to perma-kill a tracked tank. I get that they can repair it if they aren't in any danger of getting hit, but if they aren't repairing it, and they're still sitting inside the tank, is it alright to do it? Like I said, the anime always had them ignore the tracked tanks and having them appear again in a later engagement, so it's plausible that there's some sort of rules behind them. Or maybe if it's an unspoken, honor rule or something.
>>28953970Ah. so like this? derp.>>28953960if its the turret that's the problem, it can be fixed. something like a broken recoil mechanism or barrel would be something that while not knocking you out, would end you contribution to the battle. >>28954087I think that in the anime it's "we're focused on the objective/plan, so no distractions or delays." In the scenario you give, I'd call it totally legal. We'd want to see if the crew is ok, since they should be out trying to fix it.
>>28953960They did repair both the M3 and Panzer IV's turrets while they were trapped during the Pravda battle.
>>28954087Probably an honour rule. "Don't shoot your enemy while they're down" kinda thing. The anime did ignore the fact that a turreted tank can still shoot back if it's tracked, though.

>>28954183Momo did in their first fight, though you're probably referencing the pravda match
>>28954087I think it's just that if a tank got it's tracks wrecked, most people would feel safe to ignore it, especially if there are higher priorities like other tanks in the area that are firing at them or retreating.

"Richard, pull us back!" You say, watching the first Sherman stop and begin to take aim. You hit the switch for the A-set, connected to Oorai's tactical frequency. "Grizzly team is engaged! Three Shermans at G-22." You let the excitement of the engagement leak into your voice. "We're going to pull back to a better position."You flip the switch back over to the intercom. "Roy! Keep loading AP! Rose, Keep shooting- we need to keep them from being too aggressive.""Can't get an accurate shot on the move like this." Rose says, seemingly unhurried. "If you can slow us down a bit I might be able to put some rounds on target." She says- you can already feel the turret moving and jolting independant from the rest of the tank as Rose fights to keep the gun on target. "Hold fire, Rose!" You call. "Just a few more seconds..." You glance forewards and back through the cupola vision slits- a second M4 has now rounded the corner and is bring its gun to bear. "Richard... Can you get us backwards any faster?""Hold on!" Richard says. You feel a clunk in the transmission and Black Jack jolts backwards for a second before the inertia catches back up.CLANG! The turret shakes as the first Sherman's 76mm round deflects off the loader-side turret cheek. "Impact!" You call, toggling the A-set. "No penetration! We might use some help though!" You say, keeping your voice low and even- this was their first tournement battle- no reason to panic them yet.PATANG! The second Sherman's round bounces off the hull's upper plate- high and angled enough that it deflects over the tank's "shoulder". "Second impact! We're okay!" You're a bit shaken at this point and about to glance backward when the world seems to drop away from under you- Black Jack drops suddenly into the depression- there had been a six-foot drop that you hadn't seen- and keeps moving backward until the turret is level again. You recover quickly. "Bringing you on target!" You hurriedly bring the turret onto the lead Sherman- a third one has no rounded the bend and has stopped. "On target!""Firing." The T54 belches fire and the lower-half of the Sherman's frontal hull explodes as the shell hits the final drive. A flag pops up from the top of the turret. "Good shot!"As their lead tank smolders and Roy reloads, the other two tanks seem to hesitate- the second one starts to reverse while the third, still partially covered by the hill, covers them.>They don't want a fight anymore- that means we should fight them.>Fall back- let them go and try to displace so we can get back on-strategy.>Stay put- they want to pull back? They're pulling back- every fiber of your being wants to give chase, but Miho has a plan and chasing a bunch of M1A1's out into the gunsight of the Firefly isn't it. "Load AP!" You shout to Roy. Just because you aren't giving chase, doesn't mean they're getting away. "Rose, bringing you on target." You rotate the turret onto the rear M4A1- it's got a better defensive position, but it's not moving and knocking it out might disrupt the other Sherman's retreat. "On target, Rose!""Firing." The tanks rocks backward as the T54 fires. Rose's aim is true, but the shot impacts on the thick mantlet armor, cracking it like a brick but doing no damage to the the tank. "Dammit!" Rose swears as the formerly lead M4A1 rolls back behind the hill. Small destroyed town- roughly one hundred miles from BerlinJanuary 30th, 1945"Up!" Loader Putin called enthusiastically, jamming the 122mm shell into Object No. 768's gun. They had driven hard for Germany, sleeping over the warmth of the tank's engine compartment, once even participating in hand-to-hand around their IS-2 as a German counterattack formed a salient in the Red Army lines that had penetrated into the tank lager. Engine rumbling at full throttle, the IS-2 came crashing down the other side of the hill, Commander Baranov cackled madly as Comrade Gunner Markin placed a shell directly into the soft spot of a Panzer IV."Infantry on our front, twenty degrees left, Comrade Kandinsky! They're wearing the gray of the imperialistic bastards! Adjust course!" A loud 'TING' echoed through the tank as the turret's front armor bounced a 75mm shot from a Panzer III. "Gunner Markin, when reloaded, please remove his face from EXISTENCE.""UP," Putin screamed once more, and Markin fired again, blowing the turret off the Panzer III as the 122mm armor-piercing shell found the ammo rack. The IS-2's engine purred in satisfaction at the damage he was dealing to enemies of the Rodina, when his driver bellowed at their commander."The scum are surrendering, Comrade Baranov!""It matters not, Comrade Kandinsky! Orders are orders! STRAIGHT TO BERLIN!" And Object No. 768 knew what was about to happen. CRUNCH, went the infantry beneath his treads and mighty chassis, and the fellow Soviet infantry riding on his back were sick at the thought that might have been them beneath a German Tiger. "Mighty is Red Vanya, Comrade Kandinsky. He crushes all enemies of the Rodina beneath his treads!" And Red Vanya was happy, for he had been baptized in fire and the blood of the enemies of his people.

"Alright, Richard." You say, head still on a swivel for a trap. "Pull us back." You need to find another defensive position- nobody on the team had even seen the Firefly yet, but they'd already engaged your team four times. You were beginning to think luck wasn't what was happening. It was only a matter of time before Oorai could start losing tanks. You grimace, unfolding the map and tracing a finger along a number of promising positions. You toggle the A-set. "Miho- we're pulling back to H-20, there's a good hill there where we can overwatch the valley.""Alright, H-20?" Miho says, pausing a moment to likely look at her map. "Got it- we can cover your approach from here..." She says, before seemingly being distracted by something else. It's not a long drive- maybe ten minutes at cruise, but the last part is the hairy bit- a gulley that needed to be crossed to get to the cover of the hill- steep slopes on either side meant that if anyone were to-"Target!" "Miho! Ridge above us!" You call into the radio. Eyeing the Sherman above- the good news is that you are too low for her to bring her gun to bear on you. Bad news is that she's too high for you to elevate your gun high enough to shoot her. And then the Sherman commander edges her tank forward, every so slow tilting it down into the ravine. "Miho- we can't get a bead on her...""We've got you, Russell..." Miho says, assuredly. Just keep going forward.WUMPH! At first you think Hana's missed as the 75mm HE shell blows a crater into the hill just below the Sherman, but then the hill starts to destablize and all at once the 40-ton M4 begins to slip. The driver desperately puts the tank in reverse but she might as well be paddling against the rapids as the earth below her gives way and sends the tank tumbling down the hillside to land ingloriously on its side, a white flag sticking up through a hatch in the side of the turret."Alright..." You say over the intercomm. "I'll give her points for style." You're still worried though- that's the second time you've moved out and Saunders has been right there to meet you."Grizzly Team..." Miho starts to say. "The ridges are too exposed- I need you to move to the valley at I-12. We'll form a pincer attack there." You blink... The valley? You'd be a sitting duck. "The hell?" Patrick comments over the intercom, as Miho stops talking. "That valley is a shooting gallery. Is she trying to get us taken out in the first round?" You're tempted to agree with him- there's no cover, no foliage and the sides of the valley mean you'd have a coinflip's chance of even elevating the gun high enough to return fire."This is Miho..." You say finally. "She's got something up her sleeve, we just need to trust her. Richard? Valley: I-12." You chew your lip- you're really hoping that you're right about her and that she hasn't just cracked or made some mistake."...You've got it, Commander." Richard says as the M26 turns and head out towards the valley. "Wait- Patrick can you take this, I'm driving." You aren't quite sure what's happening down there. "It's from Saori- WAIT! Stop!" He says- Richard doesn't wait for your order and puts the brakes on the tank. "Suspect enemy is listening. Move to Ridge at H-12 and watch for enemy activity." You smile- that makes a hell of a lot of sense."Richard, new order- H-12" You say, grinning.By the time you're up there, you've already been joined by the Excelsior and the StuG- Miho's Pz. IV has moved further afield to watch for Anzu's Pz.38- the team's primary scout and, scarily enough, the Flag tank- Anzu'd probably gotten the same sort of orders as your tank to displace to one place over the radio and to go somewhere else by secondary comms- text message. As you train your gun down across the valley, Caesar calls out a target. "Sherman- Easy Eight along the ridge- there's two of them!" Looking through the commander's scout you can see them- their hull armor is distinctive. Their turrets are scanning back and forth along the valley- probably confused as to where you are.>Cheaters- give them the 90.>Hold fire- see if the Firefly shows up.>Other.

Hull down behind the burning hulk of one of his brothers as the heat from the flames licking the hull washed over his chassis, he felt the commander place the turret and gun on the hull of an enemy Japanese tank. Designation wasn't important. All Ob'yekt No. 3461, or Betushka, as he was lovingly referred to by his crew, wanted to do, was kill enemy tanks. And the Japanese posed no threat! Their guns couldn't penetrate his armor anywhere. Their armor was too thin to block any of his shots. He was Betushka. He was death for the dirty slant eyed bastards that thought they could get away with invading the fraternal socialist allies of Mongolia. He would- erupt into flames and start spewing smoke as his crew desperately tried to bail out of his flame-washed hull before they burned themselves. You scan the turret across the ridge- looking for the Firefly. "We don't see them, Hippo Team." Two Easy Eights- not a sign of the Firefly, though."Patrick- text Hippo Team: No sign of the Firefly- you and Duck knock out the E8s." You smile, pulling out your phone to text Miho- 'No firefly @ H12. Orders?' You hit the A-set to broadcast. "We're pulling back- cover us, Hippo Team!"The Easy Eights still look vaguely confused- one of them has pulled back and is actually moving further up the ridge looking for you. They don't see a Pershing- and the StuG shouldn't be able to see them. You phone buzzes. "Pull back @ E-10, cover sector 2 the north- found sigint balloon. Moving in.""Richard, new orders, we're moving to E-10." You say- evidently Hippo and Duck had gotten new orders because they open up simultaeniously on the two Easy Eights- the StuG earns a kill either their first shot- the Excelsior gets theirs with the third shot. Excellent gunnery on both accounts. E-10 is a bit further away, but you move with more speed and confidence now that Saunders isn't listening to every move. The radio crackles. "Russells!" Miho calls. "We've cut their radio-balloon- it was their flag tank!" There's a pause. "But it looks like the main Saunders force pulled back to protect it-"Black Jack finally comes to a stop at the top of a hill, protected by a large rock on one side and thick pushes on the other. "Where are you at? We can support." You say-, looking down the valley.By way of answer, the Pz38 roars out of the tree line, firing wildly behind it. A few seconds later, Miho's Panzer IV flies out as well. And then a veritable Parade of Shermans begin emerging from the tree line chasing after her and the Anzu's flag tank. Two... Four... Five Shermans!...The day just got a lot busier.

As he filled with water, Tiger 327 hoped his most recent death would be his final one. Maybe the river could do what the Katyushas and the SU-100 could not, and silence his cannon and engine permanently. He had started life in a tractor factory; in a more peaceful time, his treads would have pulled a plough as they crossed the fields of Rzhev, the big Maybach engine in his belly could have powered a touring car. During the times in Russia, then three years later in the fatherland, he never questioned his calling: war was war, after all, and it mattered not who started it or ended it, his job was to protect the wide-eyed crews he had carried within his breast, and to cast dangerous noises in the direction of any who would harm them. The third crew, though, he didn’t know what to think of them.
>>28959604The first crew had been ready to fight, ready to jump in the freshly-made 327 and drive him straight into the Urals. “Lebensraum,” they had called it, though no Germans would ever settle the fields first salted by the Bolsheviks, then trampled by the Wehrmacht. They had made it as far as the Don River when they were forced to stop. 327 had hit a partisan’s landmine. Not nearly enough to destroy him, but enough to drive his crew out to fix their chariot. Then the rockets came. 327 burned and wept tears of black oil onto the ground where his crew lay mangled by the whistle and groan of Stalin’s accursed organ. Klaus had been a bicycle mechanic before he and his brother Paul were called to serve in 327. Edwin had been a student, as had Herman, and “Old” Jonas, as they called him, was a career officer some decade and a half their senior. The rockets cared not, and 327 was pulled back to Prague for repairs.By the time he had been fully repaired and a new crew had been sent, he was fighting in East Prussia. His new crew was a far cry from the old one; little farmer boys, young conscripts, and a woman, of all things! Mayhaps in peace she would have driven a tank for an exhibition showing or around the oval course in an armored race, but this was war, a man’s business!
>>28959590How's that for Fate/Stay Night magic: UNLIMITED TANK WORKS.the sheer number of vehicles we could summon... its glorious!
>>28959628King of Armor, do you have enough tanks in stock?
>>28959611His new charges nicknamed him “Antik Alfred,” one of the first Tigers produced, and one of the few to fight to the last of the war. His cannon spat fire once again, directly into the faces of the Bolshevik hordes. The little T-34s had no armor that could compare to his cannon, but in a single day he could shoot his battery dry and still not slow the advance into the heart of sacred Germany. For the first time, he heard his crew speak derisively of their chancellor. Marcel, his new gunner, questioned why he should fight for a “little man with a little moustache.” His comrades responded that a bigger man with a bigger moustache was gunning for them now, no matter who they fought for. It was all lost on 327, he was weary of sending little farmer boys back to weeping mothers while trying to prevent the same from happening to his own. His engine was worn and the barrel of his cannon was shot-out, he was in desperate need of retirement. The SU granted him that, in no way he would have chosen for himself.
>>28959628Though i feel it'll work better with ionian hetaroi style. All Sherman variant ever produced... ready to fight on your command...
>>28959635He was one of the last Panzers still in action when he met his fate in the Seelow Heights. He had little gasoline left in his tanks, just enough to rotate his turret and spit fire one last time at the Soviet armor. For three hours he and his crew held their ground, until the SU-100 came. Marcel and the SU’s gunner must have spotted each other nearly simultaneously, but 327’s old, worn-out gun sent Marcel’s shot wide while the SU’s shot rang true and punctured 327’s engine. The last that 327 remembered before shutting down for half a century was the scrambling of his crew across his back. When he awoke again, he was surrounded by young women, and he thought that the fatherland must be a desperate place now if it was sending its young daughters to fight. Then they spoke in a language he barely understood, and was sent off to do mock battle on a monstrously large ship. Over time, he realized the battle was for sport. For sport! Did they not realize that nine men and one woman had died in him over one madman’s idea of “sport?” He shuddered to think it, but that was now his purpose; he was now no more than a soccer ball or a cricket bat. He stewed in his own anger until his final match came around.
>>28959567We killed like 5 shermans, how many are we facing?
>>28959645It was a muddy hillside in a rainstorm, and it reminded him of the banks of the Don he had fought on so many years ago. Had he not known better, he would have sworn that it was the autumn of 1942 again, as he was back to facing the Soviet armor that he had seen so long ago. The hill gave, and he found himself sliding sideways down towards the river. His crew panicked, and failed to clear their vehicle before he slid into the water, but no help came from the column he was travelling in. Was his crew not worth it? Were five more deaths the costs that were acceptable for “sport?” What madman had decided to press onwards rather than rescue her sisters in need? What callous wretch of a teacher had taught her that lives were a worthy sacrifice for a game?As he fell into the river, 327 once again felt the black oil welling up inside him. Five more would fall. Then came a clanging on his hatch: someone was opening him. He didn’t recognize the brown-haired girl, but in that instant, as she pulled his third crew to safety, he realized he was forever in her debt. She had saved his crew, and saved him from the shame of losing another five young souls. As the dark came upon him for the third time, 327, “Antik Alfred,” finally found his peace.

>>28959644Even better: Warhemmer 40K: Dark age of technology, The baneblade is considered a light tank by their standards, and we can not only summor their heavy cousins essentially do this with them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgZEXzHJwno
>>28959672Was it? I never saw the anime, only read the manga.
>>28959686>>28959672yeah...certainly not Tiger.Just a few correction and it will still working though.
>>28959702>>28959706Well shit. Serves me right for not being able to put up with anime voices.
>>28959604>>28959611>>28959635>>28959645>>28959653Great work, man! As for correctiond, since its a Panzer III, not a Tiger, I'd make the story more about running and close range fighting. However, since we see the Panzer III later in the Finals, would we get one more story out of Alfred? But you really should watch the anime. See pic for how it stacks up.>>28959723Yeah, the dubs bad, just watch a subbed and revel in the unashamed awesome of little girls driving tanks.
>>28959706yeah, Pz III.Shame, sometimes its hard for me to differentiate Pz III and Pz IV. I got Pz III on WOT becaue i think Anglerfish team use Pz III at first.>>28959723The blame is on manga author, mate.
>>28959741how is it the manga author's fault? and for what?
>>28959740>>28959741No, I trust you, I just can't stand squeaky nip voices, and even I can tell that the dub is fucking awful.
>>28959757...wait, its been a long time since i read GuP manga. Is this incident already depicted fully there? I really forget.
>>28959774No, it just shows Miho pulling someone out of the water.
>>28959541THIS IS WHAT WE PRACTICED FIVE ROUNDS RAPID FOR
>>28959774Yes... from Yukari's Point of view. The anime deals with Miho, the Manga follows Yukari.
>>28959806No, I remember its from Yukari POV (Yukari staliking Miho with a beautiful Maid ahoy!), i just forget if this incident already depicted....and new Motto Love-love when?
>>28959828>...and new Motto Love-love when?the heck? never heard of it.Really though, the best depiction of the event in question is the anime.
>>28959846Gag manga of GuP.really funny.Pravda arc is heartwarming, and St Glorianna arc is... hilarious. Never let Darjeeling cook, ever.
I'm going to commence dumping of my write thing
>>28959855Oh, yeah, that one. No idea when or if they are making more. I juts hope they make a season 2. (look sat time) whelp, time to sleep till noon, see you all later.>>28959868nevermind, I'm awake.
>>28959868Previously: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/28926917/#p28935165“How come we're taking the back roads?” Rob asks“People would get pissed having to travel at 22 miles an hour on a road with a limit of 55” “I guess... dayum” Rob says aloud sitting up “what a fox”You look around trying to find the source of Rob's interest, there's no one around “funny guy”“I did say there was a fox”You don't bother responding to this and instead change the subject “How's Hamish doing back there?”“He's not behind us”“Must have gone off to the Club without waiting” you say satisfied with your conclusion>[1/?]>>28959877It's pretty Dialogue heavy at the moment. You probably won't see any combat for a few days
>>28959893Ok, reading from the start, be back in a few.
>>28959893“Damn” you say to Rob after noticing what's a head “Check that out”“Oh yeah, check out that ass” Rob says as you drive past the girl “shit”“What?”“She saw me checking her out” he says trying to suppress a laugh “she has blow job lips though”“welcome to the neighborhood”As the Cityscape dissolves into Suburbs then into country you realize your destination is close at hand “There it is” you think to yourself before making the turn into the Club GroundsThe Grounds themselves are rather sparse, the only defining features are a Saloon that looks like it should be out of a Spaghetti Western and a few large hangars sitting next to itYou grind to a halt in front of the Saloon and shut off the engine“Hey look” Rob says as you dismount the tank “It's Dusty Hill"
>>28959921Ok, I'm back. characters look good so far, right about now would be a good time to have new characters come in so the reader gets the back story. I can tell you've though this through. Good work so far, keep it up.Also, ANOTHER spin off quest? I'm going to lose so much sleep keeping up with everything.
>>28959965There's only three right now.Strike Witches has, like, eight. We do, however, want to not make any new GuP quests until one of the current ones have finished.
>>28959921You look around and spot a man walking out of the Saloon sporting a white beard dropping to his waistThe clink of spurs is heard as he walks over and you notice he's wearing chaps as well“This might not be the right place” you think to yourself before waving at the man“Hey there” the man calls out, the exact same voice you heard on the phone “you must be Adam Sledge right”“Yeah, I guess you're Rick”You hold out your hand which he firmly grasps, you notice his face looks like it's been made of leather and his hands are like vices“I've felt a few limp dicked hand shakes in mah time” Rick mentions offhandedly “that ain't one”“You know, this tank isn't supposed to exist anymore” Rick says eyeballing the tank before giving you a sly look “How did you get your hands on it?”[3/?]Forgot to number the last one>>28959965Luckily this one doesn't require active participation. Just kick back and enjoy the ride.
>>28959989“My neighbor had it” you say scratching behind your head “I used to play on it a lot and I would always ask if he was going to fix it up, he said he would but never got around to it”“So Hamish and I started working on it” you say reminiscing “the big C got him and he willed the tank to us saying he knew we would take good care of her”“So you don't know where your neighbor got the tank from?”“I never asked, I didn't think it was my place”As the conversation draws to a close Rob jumps in to greet Rick with an enthusiastic hand shake “Hi, I'm...”Rick cuts him off “Robert I presume”“Yeah, I'm the gunner, how did you know?”“Your friend Hamish came through and told me to expect you lot” Rick says “I told him we don't have any 90mm shells for the T15E2 in stock, so he should go check out the ITL or NATL shop”“I don't know when he'll be back” he continues “you boys come on into the bar, share a cold one”With that he walks off towards the Saloon. Robert looks at you. You pull out a Sandwich and follow Rick“Damn this tastes good”>[4/?]
>>28960008You step inside the Saloon behind Rick and notice it's like walking into a Fridge, probably because you've been outside for so long you're used to it“So, what can I getcha?” Rick says moving behind the bar “Maybe some Tiger, Corona, Bud, or do you want to try some of my Homebrew Stout?”You throw a look at Rob“I won't tell if you don't” Rick says sensing this exchange“I'll take the Stout” Rob replies with minimal thought “please”“Nice save” you say looking at Rob then back at Rick “I'll just take a Corona please"You sit down at the bar and start drinking the beer with your sandwich, Rob joins you while Rick leans over towards the two of you“You boys still in school?” Rick asks trying to get a feel on you“Working right now” Rob replies between sips“So you've finished, you're out of High School?”“Yeah, I finished early” you follow up “and Rob...decided he was sick of learning shit, I was too, can't be bothered going to College right now, just want to do something I like”“What about the rest of the crew?”“There's Hamish, he finished school with me, he's gone back to the family farm to work, he's the guy that came in before us” you frown trying to figure out how to explain the last Crew member “Our loader...he...left school pretty early, wasn't really his thing. He's working for a Scaffolding Company right now so his work helps loading”“And your Radioman?”You snort “We never needed one, we only did one-on-one matches”>[5/5]
>>28960079I thought I had written more. Apparently not, but in the next few days you should see some combat
>>28959538Gotta make do with what you got. Don't forget the Soviet T-26 flamer variant, from which the Finns took the turret off, put a spare BT or T-26 turret on and used the extra space left over from the fuel tanks to mount an extra machine gun on the hull. Used as an infantry support tank.
>>28959741Number of road wheels is the easiest way to spot the difference. Panzer III has 6 and Panzer IV has 8.
Unrelated, but I think it'd be cool to have a Canadian team in the NATL with Rams and Grizzlies.
>>28960962It's called Girls und Panzer: Sherbrooke Academy Quest and it runs tomorrow.
