My people, hearken to me! It is now the Sacred Time, and we tell the history of our clan in keeping with ancient tradition. The past two years have seen our tribe face great adversity. We have been plagued by Chaos and worsening relationships with our neighbors, and unfortunate setbacks in our pursuit of our vendettas. At the end of last year we learned the Rain and Earthblood rituals from Orlanth and Maran Gor, so we might never again face the specter of starvation. The omens for the coming year encourage us to seek our treasures of all kinds from across Dragon Pass in the name of Issaries the Talking God. We have two years to add to our stock of treasure.
We've got twelve magic to assign for the year. You'll note that we can't add more than a single point to quests; blame Orslantor for getting beat up by a ginger.
>>282695002 war2 crops1 herds1 trade1 quests1 health
Moving on, the Gorinds have come by to keep their bargain and OH SWEET EURMAL WHAT HAPPENED TO ONELISIN?
Of all the second age tier portraits that I've ever seen, that's probably the worst one.We talked about it some last thread, so I'm going to go ahead and build shrines to Orlanth and Maran Gor.
After I put up Maran Gor's shrine we got a rainbow. Given that it's still Sea season we shouldn't go raiding, but everything else is worthy. Note that we already have as many trade routes as we can naturally support.
>>28269789Make friends with someone , probably Wolfs. We need allies in our conquest of dragon pass
>>28269789Praise them gods!
>>28269789An alliance then, but not with those damn Wolves. They spat on our last offer so they can take a hike.
The ring suggests getting friendly with the Mule Deers, but they're the careful planning clan and I hate their events. How about the Gorinds? Or the Wolves, I suppose, but too many distant allies will make the midgame MUCH harder.
Fire 1. We should explore the tula to keep bad events down, and also consider calling for more immigrants so we can kick our number of crafters up without damaging the harvest.
>>28270067Yes, let us explore our turf!
Can't find cool shit every time.
Greydog scum attacks, what do?Sorry for the delay, system choked.
>>28270252Drive 'em off with skirmishing?
>>28270265We've got the Klanth of Orlanth, which gives us a bonus when we charge. Still want to skirmish?
>>28270278i would say so
Lost a thane. Won the battle though.
>>28270307and somehow half the post was not posted. i was trying to say: "I would say so, won't skirmishing be safer for our forces?" Because it's early in the game and we are supposed to have good harvests coming, maye losing warriors is worse than losing something else.
>>28270333The battle calculations in KoDP are weird. Charging is almost always safer and better than any other tactic, and gives you a bonus when you're outnumbered.Anyway, I'd like to call for more people, but I leave my next move up to the clan.
>>28270369More people is always good. Go for it.
>>28270476Done.I begin to suspect that we are legitimately cursed. I'll make a quick save scum check after this event.
>>28270519I'm thinking sacrifice, but I'm not sure how this event plays out.
>>28270587It plays out based on how much the RNG likes you. Sacrificing to the sheep goddess. Remember that most of the Peace deities don't care for live sacrifices (and multiples of seven are best)
>>28270652I'd give my input, but I am NOT good at this game. I'm more likely to cause harm than good.
14 goods. The numbers involved were high enough that going to 35 might have been advisable.>>28270712Just remember the Dwarf Fortress mantra: losing is fun.
Morale isn't good. At this point I might recommend performing Ernalda Feeds the Tribe to boost morale.
>>28270779Sounds good, get to feeding.
>>28270779Good call. Need to alleviate this spree of shit luck.
>>28270807>>28270825I just realized that Orstalor is still down. Until he's back, we only have six gods represented on the clan ring. So instead I bumped up crafters and moved production to gems and Greenware from Plain and Fancy goods.
>>28270899We got a notification regarding the Taralings's new chief, which may or may not be of interest in the future...
>>28270924We welcomed our new farmers to Fimbulvetr.
>>28270941And like magic Orstalor was all better. Time for Ernalda?
>>28270941GoodWhat season is it now?
>>28270969Time for Emalda.
>>28270974Earth 2.You'll notice that Ernalda Feeds the Tribe has a different set of rewards than Orlanth and Aroka, though there are similarities. Before anyone gets too excited, there's only one treasure here and isn't very good; it ensures the first sacrifice to Ernalda you make in a given year is successful. The passive benefits of Ernalda will improve crop yields, but nowhere near as much as choosing it as our reward. That or reconciling the carls is what we want.
>>28271050Getting the crop yield would be pretty helpful, and hopefully stave off the inevitable poor harvests.
>>28271300Crops it is.Come to think of it, who knows the story of Ernalda Feeds the Tribe?
>>28271358Uuuuuh... Fight back..? Maybe..?
>>28271358It should be 5, right?
>>28271358I think option 1. is out of question (he looks too much of a dick).
>>28271385Whelp.Tell you what though, I'm going to reload.
Ernalda is a tricky myth. >>28271436 has it right, you have to accept the pain.
>>28271494Having felt the pain her people suffer at Daga's hands, Ernalda goes to the Aldryami to ask for their assistance. They feel she has betrayed them, so refuse to help. How does Ernalda convince the elves to help?
>>28271550I'd chose between 1 and 5...
>>28271572Convincing the elves Ernalda was not a traitor won her the necessary seed.
>>282715505 I says
Planting the seed, a giant tree digs a hole into the depths of the Earth, where Maran Gor holds Barntar captive. How does Ernalda convince Maran Gor to release Barntar?
>>282716545then again, i dont know shit
Maran Gor does care for the Storm Tribe, in her own way. Reminding her that Barntar was responsible for making things worth defending was enough for her to release the prisoner.>>28271694You're doing fine.
Ty Kora Tek, goddess of the underworld, has Uralda and Esra and refuses to release them. How does Ernalda convince her to release them when that which enters death cannot be released?
>>282717832 sounds logical
>>28271783Perhaps try no. 2?
>>28271826>>28271840yea im thirding this
Really, what would you tell the death goddess when you're trying to convince her to be nice?
>>28271869The Death Goddess is actually nice...
This one's unfair. There's no way to know that this is Ernalda's daughter Babeester Gor, whose portfolio includes hitting things with axes and vengeance. Of course, she hasn't been born yet, so maybe there's a reason for it.>>28271923Well yes, but she's kind of a hardass.Anyone else having posting problems or is it just me?
>>28271998eeeh 5 or 1
>>28271998Tough decision...but I think option 1 would be the right one...but I may be mistaken here.
>>28271998Well then lay down that parental authority.
>>282719981 sounds fine
>>28271998>hat this is Ernalda's daughter Babeester Gor, whose portfolio includes hitting things with axes and vengeance. Of course, she hasn't been born yet, so maybe there's a reason for it.Orlanthi gods are the best.Go with 1, though. The pointless cycle of this kind of vengeance can be used to bludgeon her with logic.
The mythologically correct response is "Both" actually. For the sake of the game, option 5 works best.
That takes care of our food situation for the next three years or so. Good work.
>>28272108There is a downside to the quest though, and it is that whoever goes on it gets hurt. Hopefully we won't have any events that need an Ernaldan on the ring. It's now Dark season. We are feuding with the Anmangarn, the Greydogs, and the Jesnati, who are right next door.
>>28272149We should stay on the defense and make the tribe grow until we have superior numbers.
>>28272149How much do we actually need to raid right now? Though the thought of killing pig-disgusting Greydogs is a good one, we have been taking a beating recently.
>>28272173If we really want to do that we'll need Orlanth's Rattle.Okay, if we're not raiding, what are we doing this Dark season?
>>28272274Explore uncharted lands!
>>28269461>only 814 peopleYou guys suck at this.
>>28272274There is a probability that we're going to be attacked. We should be on the defensive, attack only when we have to and for no we should look for some epic artifacts. And as >>28272322 says.
>>28272334Not all are perfect. My first play was literally Dwarf Fortress.
>>28272334You can't always be Runic men.
>>28272322>>28272339I sent a party off to Kero Fin. In the future, if you could suggest a direction to explore (or an area, I know the revealed map) I'd appreciate it.
Second half of Dark season. Beneva is back on her feet and the clan's mood has improved thanks to the completion of the heroquest.Want to explore again?
>>28272444Let's explore... The south!
>>28272476This far South?
>>28272502Perfect! What could go wrong, amirite?
>>28272529Less than what would go wrong if we sent them North and a little bit to the East.Humakti warriors want to kill undead for us. There's no harm in letting them, and a lot of possible good in being gracious about it.
>>28272589Let's purge that heresy.
>>28272673I can't tell if this is bad or good.
It's now Storm season. We have one year and two months to gain treasure for Issaries' request. It is possible to trade for treasures with other clans.
>>28272784Trade 50 goods for another clan's treasure. Goods are easy to come by once you stop -sucking in battle- and just crush your foes (hell, we should be able to do that, between truesword and the klanth).Go buy treasure. ANY treasure.
Treasure trade it is. The Gorinds think we're okay, so I sent off to them.
Only having five thanes at hand makes them antsy. We have a chance to get thanes without spending time, and quickly if we accept outlaws.
>>28272960Get em murderers, rapists and thiefs. They will do exactly same thing but we will have profit from it.
>>28272960>Hiring outlaws as Thanes. This is not a good idea. While some people are outlawed because muh politics, there's still plenty who were outlawed for legitimate reasons. Not a safe option.
>>28272960I can say that brews only trouble. Better to chose 4 rather than risk trouble in the future. The shortest path isn't always the right one...
We can accept up to six thanes. Interestingly, that's two more than we could hire outright.>>28273014There's a way to mitigate it.
Fewer thanes, but fewer problems? Or more thanes but potentially having real bastards and kinslayers?
>>28273128Let him sort out the unworthy and the scumbags.
One of them got the boot.
>>28273202Well, that's dealt with.
It's now the second half of Storm season. I raised the number of thanes on patrol back to 8.It might be a good idea to adjust our land usage. We're going to be growing soon.
>>28273259Lets get some land then. Which one is the nearest one?
>>28273307Oh, we're not raiding other clans for their land (yet). We're going to clear land on this screen. By adjusting the Pasture slider up we clear Wildlands, and by moving the Cropland slider up we seed Pastures.Something like this.
>>28273420clearing wildlands I suppose?
>>28273420Wouldn't that cause the forest spirits or anything else to pop out and start cursing us left and right?
>>28273438And adding to croplands. Luckily, doing this doesn't take up an action, so we can still do something. Like pick up an Ernalda blessing.>>28273467It can sometimes. Still, better than having our people starve.
Thankfully it goes off just fine.Full disclosure: I reloaded this one a few times. Fuck Bless Children.
Baranthos's exploration team found the Bullroarer. Mounted enemies will have a drastic reduction in efficiency against our forces. No word from the South-bound group, despite them departing first.
>>28273702You still haven't gotten the event that lets you take in people from a Humakti clan to get the myths of Humakt the Champion? You should sacrifice to Humakt at some point; Humakt the Champion is -by far- the most radically metal and awesome heroquest there is.
The Gorinds have Eurmal's Shield, which improve our battle luck if we have a trickster. If you want Orstalor to be our champion in battle as well as decision-making, you'll want to authorize me to buy this.Orlgard's also wrong, treasures go for 50 cows or cows worth of goods.>>28273738This is actually wrong, this is the southbound group; the other one went to Kero Fin.>>28273757Pure metal.
>>28273802buy if we can afford i presume
>>28273802Hail, Heort-Son, Fimbul-ChiefI say to you, who knows this in your heart's-heartthat Battle-Luck has but one elderOne elder, I say to you, Heort-Son, has Battle-Luck:The True-Sword of Humakt, called DeathSo go, Heort-Son, Fimbul-Chief,Give unto the Gorind Bronze-HallsRings and torcs and chains of silver, yeah, rings and torcs and chains of silver give themGive to the gorinds five-ten cattle-worth And speak to them the words of Issaries Which are: "Silence reigns at trade's table,And you, chief, take my rings and torcs and chains of silver,As I take the Shield of Outlaw-Brother Eurmal."(TLDR: Issaries say: SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY. Give them 50 cattle.)
How much are we paying to-->>28273917Eurmal's balls, I think I have my answer. Couldn't get 50, this should be fine though.
>>28273974Fuck this guy, seriously.
>>28274008I hope we can kill the fuck out of this guy.
>>28274008This guy's going on the shit list. Vengeance will come, one day.
Sacred time. Here are our stats. Note the new shrines in the North and just to the South of the village proper.>>28274021The treasures held by any given clan is random. We'll get another chance at it, maybe even with someone else. In the meantime, we might consider running our trademan through Issaries the Conciliator once or twice to boost his bargaining.>>28274059Whether or not he accepts is pretty much random.
Another good harvest. Also, we'll do well to go cattle-raiding this year.
>>282741410 in Children (anyone who puts magic in Children deserves to be shot into the sun)2 in Crops (good harvest + crop blessing = good)2 in Diplomacy (MORE WORDS. We have a surfeit of enemies and a dearth of friends.)1 in Health (duh)1 in Herds (duuuuh)0 in Hunting (it's negligible)2 in Mysteries (HUMAKT. THE. CHAMPION)2 in Quests (We should do either Orlanth & Aroka for splendorbread or Elmal Guards The Stead)1 in Trade (if we have more trade routes than we can natively support and don't put it into magic we lose the trade route)2 in War (We need to kick ass and take names.)In other words, max out everything except for Children and Hunting.
>>28274269>Elmal Guards The SteadDo you hate us that much? We also already have the Splendorbread too.We might want to hold off on Elmal anyway, the third heroquest sets off the tribe-forming events. We want to be rolling in swag before we put a tribe together.
It's now Sea season. Let's have some actions for the first of the year.
>>28274367Elmal is patron-god to the Fimbulvetr. We -need- to do it at least once, no matter how much of a shitpile this quest is.
>>28274434We still haven't gotten a treasure, have we.I propose that we:1.) Explore our Tula (ONCE A YEAR EVERY YEAR)2.) Trade for a treasure with another clan (unless we find one on our Tula)3.) Go cattle raid the Greydogs/Some other asshole on our border4.) Run Elmal Guards The Stead
>>28274434hows the cow situation? 765 seems a little slim to me
I went ahead and reduced the number of hunters we had. I got an alert saying we needed more farmers, and we had too many hunters so it made sense.>>28274507We found the Bullroarer. We still want as many treasures as possible, but we might want to buff our guy's trading ability first after he blew the deal on the shield.>>28274513It is less than ideal. We're promised great success on our first cattle raid though.
>>28271358>Come to think of it, who knows the story of Ernalda Feeds the Tribe?I should have been here...>>28272108... oh, no, you were fine. Cool.
Oh look, these guys. I think we should use the magic anti-horse device.
>>28274607>Bullroarer>Grey NetFuck them up with a charge and take them all captive.
>>28273702HA HA! COME RAID US NOW, HORSEFUCKERS
>>28274630Speak of the fucking devil >>28274607
>>28274623You can only use one at a time.Regardless, the game promptly crashed (what the fuck) so the battle never happened. Sea 2; exploring.
>>28274698>You can only use one at a time. For real? Shame. I could've seen that working really damn well.
We found nothing but the knowledge that not everything will go as horribly wrong for us as it did in year 3.
>>28274731Irony: Definition of.Bullroarer is go.
>>28274744Let's send these sons of who- horses back where they came!
>>28274744I'd still say take captives though, even without the net. They're really screwed if their horses are frightened and we might get vast wealth from their ransoms.Or lose our advantage because we try to capture instead of kill, but eh.
Oh for fuck's sake. That's it, we're raiding the Jenesti Still though, they took WAY more casualties.
>>28274821>no Thanes deadHah!
Okay, it's now Fire season. While we can raid, we might be better served heroquesting, sacrificing or trading, since we can raid (and have better odds of success in doing so) in Dark.I just noticed that we're down the Shield blessing; that would be much more beneficial than the Steadfast blessing we have right now.
>>28274891Let's pick a fight with a weak clan. Anyone who fights better than children are bound to fuck us up.
>>28274891Morale is still down, whats the best way to fix that?
>>28274935Winning battles. Having good events happen. The Morale ritual. Completing heroquests. There's a feedback loop of sorts, high morale gives bonuses to skills, high skill checks make completing events easier, completing events boosts morale, and so on. Completing Elmal Guards the Stead should be a big one since he's our clan's patron.>>28274934That a vote for cattle raiding?
>>28275005Sure, cattle first. Then send in the troops.
Hmm. I had hoped for something more spectacular.
>>28275052No event, so Fire 2. I would suggest sacrificing to Elmal for the Shield ritual (to replace Steadfast, which frankly has been shit) or Humakt, for the Humakt the Champion heroquest.
>>28275095The effects of steadfast are so unnoticeable you should just replace it.I don't think I've ever noticed a difference
>>28275095I have a soft spot for the Death cult, but sure, sacrifice and hope for shield.
Shields will go up now. We should stop hemorrhaging people in pitched battles. Also, we don't have an Issaries shrine, for Silvertongue. I'm going to use Earth 1 to build that, so give me a suggestion for Earth 2.
>>28275173... feast, maybe? Depending on how good our harvest looks?Should give the people something to be cheerful about.
>>28275173This should help.
Good grief, look at all that food. We might have to feast to eat it all.
>>28275255>Large>Invite neighboursMy god, we need to eat and eat or our granaries will burst!
>>28275255This should cheer the clan up alright
>>28275267That's what we did, picture just didn't show it.
>>28275293Dammit, we lost our Humakti, to Kero Fin of all places.
It is now Dark season. We get magic for raiding at this time.
>>28275342Let's beat on the Jenestni.
>>28275342Can we raid the grey Dogs? Or are they too powerful?
>>28275342who were those dicks who tried to burn us out? They need to GO
>>28275374Those are the Stag Hearths. Also a good choice, but we're not actually feuding with them right now.
>>28275342Let's take out our frustrations on those Jenusty guys.
>>28275387I'd like to fuck up the Horse-spawns.
>>28275410Is it even possible to take the fight to the Horse-Spawn?
>>28275424They live in the far west, right? Maybe if we explore that way?
>>28275372They're one of the weakest tribes in the Pass. They're on the other side of the Jenestni.>>28275410>>28275424I wish, but no.Jenestni it is.
>>28275438Mmm, we outnumber them. Let's murder their people.
>>28275438Can we take captives? I like the idea of just charging into their land and forcing them to pay not to be slaughtered by the dozen.
>>28275448>>28275456Both are actually quite difficult. I'd suggest burning steads, then killing or taking captives next attack.
>>28275456Technically, but it's not wise. We'd need to outnumber them a lot more to have good odds, and we're not thrall-takers, so it's not especially useful to do (if we were, it'd be free magic).
>>28275478Let's burn their shit, then. Also, use some treasure I suppose.
>>28275478Fine, fine. Burn the fuckers out.
>>28275478Hmm, I thought killing was easier than burning. If it's the other way around; sure, burn them.
I just started my first game in this. Excellent game thanks /tg/.Should I worship all the Gods ? Its seems expensive...Iam making a tribe called Astora, who worships Elmal mainly.
Event. Try not to take insane risks, that's never worked.>>28275510Killing is third most difficult. Destroying fortifications and seizing land are the only harder. This is for victory, not for dealing casualties.>>28275526Worshipping is worth it. Give in units of seven. 14 is a good number.
>>28275581Yeah, just fight bravely. They should already be demoralized, so press the advantage without being stupid.
>>28275581>Fight BravelyIf there any other choice?
>>28275581Thanks, the game has great lore already. Its fantasy Aesir, its quite nice.I like the variation of quests it gives.
>>28275526you can build shrines to them but they are expensive. A few are really important and some are really useful.
That worked.>>28275526>Should I worship all the Gods>allWait, missed this part. You don't want to do it all at once, and you don't want to be sacrificing to Malia or any of the unholy trio. There are a few gods who are always good, and others that'll be more or less useful depending on where you are in the game. There are two good LPs of this game on LParchive, and two previous playthroughs on suptg. Read those to get a sense for the flow of the game, but ware spoilers.
Haha, sweet victo-->were unable to burn any steadsGet back over there and burn the place down.
>>28275581BTW, is this guy good enough to be a replacement Humakti? (At least, I think he's a Humakti?)
>>28275685He worships Barntar. He's a farmer.
I'd like to point out that we got three clan magic from that fight. Additionally, five of the injured healed up, so we're just down three people from where we were.Anyway, going again.>>28275685He's an adherent of Barntar the farming god. Very Good combat though.
I don't think they saw this coming.
>>28275732Well it is still Dark season. Most clans would have to be crazy to try raiding right now.
>2 steads burnedThat's more like it.Enfrew has Very Good combat and Leadership both.
Rolled 2>>28275772>>28275780Eurmal, decide please.
>insert epic rallying speech here
>>28275702Damn, misread the rune. Have we got any Humakti, then? We're gonna need one if we want to do Humakt the Champion.
We can find our way home by the light of burning Jenesti houses. We'll start trying to steak their land next year.>>28275823Fresh out of Humakti. We might end up having to do Elmal, or Orlanth again.
>>28275823Or an Orlanthi. I might be misremembering this, but I think if they complete the quest they become Humakti.
>>28275845Oooh, that's just nasty. At last, a true victory!
>>28275845>steak their landCome to think of it, why don't we cook these cows they're offering us while we're there?Anyway, they want peace. What do you tell them?>>28275849>citation neededThat would be something. We've got a few useless Orlanthi sitting around and not being productive.
>>28275889Fuck them, we raid when we like.
>>28275889>citation neededLoaded up one of my old saves and scummed the hell out of the quest with an Orlanthi. No change. I think I was remembering that if a Humakti fails, sometimes he becomes an Orlanthi, and got the order mixed up.I think we should demand annual tribute. We need to grow our herds still, right?
>>28275889>Orstalor's suggestion.Though awesome, that feels like something with a serious potential to bite us in the ass. That said, 26 cows is pretty insulting, so I'm inclined to go with 2; we can raid them again once they default, and beat up the stags while we wait.
Rolled 2>>28276000I see. Thanks for looking that up.>>28275999>>282760031=No deal2=Annual tribute
>>28276003I like this idea. If they refuse, we can keep kicking their asses. If they accept, eventually they'll default and we can kick their asses.
>>28276003Yeah, you can't really do treachery. If you promise not to raid, then do raid, the gods punish you, and I think you lose the raid by default for being a dick.
What are we taking them for?>>28276043Should have said, I was showing off how even the follower of Barntar was acting like a badass here.
>>28276085Fifteen cows a year? It's not that many, but it's still steady income.
>>28276085Even when there was strife between the gods, Orlanth was magnanimous in victory. Accept their due tribute - if they refuse to pay, they reveal their knavish nature, allowing us free reprisals. Also, what fortifications do you have? It looks like we have the goods to put up something better.
>>28276085No less than 20. We can raid that much from them easily, after all, and they seem unable to stop us.
I had hoped that they'd reject the deal.
>>28276139We can put up the stockade and the walls. The walls protect from people trying to seize land, which we won't have to worry about, probably, but the stockade would defend against plundering attempts.
>>28276182Stockade now, walls later?
>>28276182Plundering attempts being the most common, Stockade makes sense.
>>28276144I thought the votes were against a deal?
The stockade went up just in time.>>28276222One for, one against. I rolled and Eurmal said to take the deal.
>>28276242Can we kill these guys then raid the shit out of them?Maybe we can get them paying us tribute too.
>>28276242We outnumber them. It's murdering time.
>>28276242Kill them to death
I tossed a point of magic in, just to be sure. What does Onelisin do to this guy?
>>28276285I trust Onelisin to do her thing.Single combat. For the win.
>>28276285Challenge to single combat
They got us really good.I vote we dedicate the next two years to exterminating the Stag Hearths.
>>28276377Ow. Seriously, ow. Agreed, these guys are going down.
>>28276377TEN OF OUR STEADS? BY THE NAME OF THE GODS, THEY WILL PAY FOR THIS IN BLOOD.
>>28276377>>28276402Seriously though, how much fucking magic must they've blown on this raid?
>>28276480Must've they blown*
We have 16 goods. One of our shrines is going to collapse. We put points into quests at the start of the year, so I'm going to go ahead and run Orlanth and Aroka just so they won't have been in vain. Anyone want a treasure?Sorry for the delay, was testing a few variables.
>>28276615I take it back, I'm not going for the treasure. We'll want stronger warriors this year.
>>28276615What treasures are left that we don't have from that one?
Fimbulvetr strongk.>>28276669Plenty. The Bag of Winds, the Darkwind, and the Widebrew. The first makes driving enemies off easier, the second makes enemy evasion tactics less successful, and the third increases wounds dealt to enemies (and to allies I think, but I'm not sure about that part)
>>28276615our trade routes are fine i think? how often are they?Alternatively, have we assigned a good ratio of crafts people?
We are short goods. The Stag Hearts still draw breath.--->RAID THEM
>>28276886If we have enough ablebodied warriors to pull this off, sure.
I find I don't rightly care that the rock's shrine fell down.>>28276848Trade routes are fine if not very productive.
>>28276799Hail, Heort-Son, Fimbul-Chief!See you there the people of your clan! See you there, Heort-Son, Dastandros Long-Beard, oldest of the carls, whose home is ash at Stag-Hearth hands.See you there, Heort-Son, Fedarkos Silversmith, whose forge lies consumed not by the flame within, but by Stag-Hearth flames.See you there, Heort-Son, Hindala Daugter of Enastarra, God-Speaker, whose shrine shall go to ruin for lack of sacrifices.See you there, Heort-Son, Enerin Daughter of Beneva? Nay, you see her not, held in foul thrall-dom by Stag-Hearth chains.See them, Heort-Son, and wax wroth whither the Stag-Hearts, despoilers, enemies, instigators of kinstrife.Call on Humakt, that he imbues the Thanes with the power of the sword called Death! Raise the fyrd, and pass you stout axe and stout spear and stout shields to man and women both, Orlanth and Vinga at their backs!Hail, Herot-Son, Fimbul-Chief, guardian, leader, conqueror, bring fury, bring vengeance against Stag-Hearth knaves.
This is our clan at the end of year.>>28277180The Stag-Hearths are going to regret ever learning our clan's name.
>>28277237Holy crap is that Maran Gor's shrine up in that corner? That looks amazing.
>>28277180I love you, man
This is our clan at the start of next year. A mild Dark season means plenty of time to raid the Stag Hearths.I think we're done for today, two years per thread seems like a good pattern. Thanks for playing everyone. See you all tomorrow, I hope.
>>28277301See you tomorrow, Heort-son!
>>28277301>All that magic>Quested successfully for better warriorsHoly crap, those stags won't know what hit them.
>>28277301Thanks for the thread! I'll be back, to see this tale of vengeance through.
>>28277301Heh, we have enough magic now to do the Runic Men thing of full magic in all categories except Children, who get none because fuck anklebiters.Rest well, OP.
>>28277180this is awesome <3
You know what? I take it back. I want the Stags gone. Give me an hour to get dinner and I'll start a new thread.
