You're Tammy Konstantin, a 18yo NEET who for two years have shut herself away in her room, unable to cope with the world and the event that lead to her dropping out of high school and pursuing the path of NEET-dom. Living with her father, mother, and little brother in the suburbs of some major city, she's been occupying one of the 1st floor bedrooms of the average 'burbia house her family owns.In the last thread, Tammy was faced with an ultimatum from her family; either get a job or go back to school, or be kicked out from the house. She now have a month to fix her situation, which proves rather difficult seeing as she's incredibly awkward and socially incompetent. So far Tammy has, with the help of the always diligent /tg/, managed to clean up the inane mess that was her room and partly rebuilt the bridge between her and her mother.Last thread can be found here: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/28214258/Without further ado, let's get on with the second thread.
You're dreaming.Floating through an empty void, completely devoid of any sensual input. You feel conscious, and can conclude that you exist, but beyond that you're feeling nothing. Drifting along for an immeasurable amount of time, you spot a bright dot far away in front of you. It seems to be an eternity from you, and you feel an urge to reach it but don't believe you ever can. The thought of this saddens you, and you try to swear to yourself but no words leave your lips. It's impossible to say anything in the void.Suddenly, and without any warning, you're pulled by your waist at an incredible speed towards the bright point. You're moving with a haste far beyond the speed of sound. You're scared. You weren't prepared for this. You want to scream, but can't; the void absorbs everything. As you get closer to the dot, it turns out to be immensely large as it fills your entire field of view. As you're about to collide with it, your screams becomes audible, and the sound of yourself crying out in terror combined with the impending collision makes you curl together in a ball and close your eyes. A whooshing can be heard like a strong wind blowing past you, a multitude of lights flash before your closed eyes, only for everything to stop completely at once. You can feel sun burning down on your back, and you can smell fresh air combined with a flowery scent. You open your eyes once again and is amazed at what you see. You're flying far above a thick forest of blue trees. Above you there's a light blue sky with pink clouds coloured by the red sun beaming down on you and the amazing landscape below you. The sea of blue crowns dance in the wind, creating waves like in a field of grass, giving off the impression on an actual ocean. The memory of the sea fills you with a melancholic feeling, but the world you're floating above dulls the feeling and makes it okay to be sad.cont.
>>28247348You let yourself cry, and your tears form a trail behind you as you pick up speed, flying far above the forest. You find controlling your open air movements to be an easy task, and you do a swoop and laugh, while crying your heart out at the same time. At a point, you get to the edge of the forest. A blooming field of brown, golden wheat spreads out below you, dancing in the same warm wind that is caressing your face up here in the clouds. Far out in the horizon you spot two mountains standing tall and monstrous above this beautiful scenery, as if protecting it against any harm that might fall upon it. In the field below, you spot two large lakes, filled with emerald green water and surrounded by shrubbery. Over the lakes are placed two thick glass plates, as to keep anyone from disturbing the rippling beauty of the green waters. As you pass over them, carefree as you could ever be as a result of this amazing world, the air suddenly disappears under you and you drop, free falling towards the ground. You're on a direct collision course with one of the lakes, and you scream in terror and fear of the impending squish you'll be turned in to as your frail body meets with the thick glass. Just before you hit the plate, you curl into the same fetal ball as before and close your eyes, welcoming death. You crash through the glass with an incredible noise like you've never heard before, which leaves you with your ears ringing. You're back in a dark void, floating through a cascade of broken glass. You try to maneuver yourself to avoid getting cut on the edges, which you manage to with little success. Beaten and cut from scraping against the razor sharp glass shards, you're faced with your own reflection in one of the larger shards. You're wearing a long, flowing, dark dress which reveals your thin, pale arms from the shoulder and down. Your hair is tied in a long, braided tail, and the bags under your eyes are gone.cont.
>>28247356If it weren't for the rips and tears in the cloth and the multitude of cut wounds leaking your blood from different places around your body, you would've said you looked beautiful. You focus on a drop of blood floating by your eyes as if in zero gravity, when suddenly it seems like the dark void is moving. Out from the blackness, a massive, looming creature appears, so insanely large that it might as well be the background itself. Dark terrifying eyes with red pupils stares down at you with nothing but insidious intent in them. You shudder. Your whole body is filled with undiluted fear, and you clutch your arms around yourself as you turn into a floating, immobile lump of shaking flesh. The creature reaches out for your and grabs you with its massive claws, making it all but impossible to move. You want to scream, but can't. You want to run away, but can't. You want to resist the monster with the entirety of your being, but you can't. Utter helplessness fills you being as the monster opens its gigantic, gaping maws and reveals a white void that seems to descend into nothingness where the back of its throat should be. It lets out a soundless roar which vibrates the fabric of your dream space, and before swallowing you whole you find yourself wishing you were back in the arms of your family. You're standing in a white room. The floor and walls are clad with white fabric that when touched feels cold as ice. You try to say something, but only find whatever sound you make to be muffled, as if the room absorbs sound. You try to walk towards the end wall in front of you, but even though you feel yourself taking step after step, you don't appear to come any closer to the end of the room. Despite this, you continue walking, and you find the cold, muffled atmosphere of the room to be serene and calming. You take a deep breath in through your nose, and find the cold air hitting the inside of your nostrils to be refreshing and awakening.
>>28247366As you re-enter reality, you find yourself on the floor next to your bed. You're drenched in sweat, and wrapped in your bed linen as if you've moved around a lot during your sleep. The noise repeats itself, and it's the unmistaken sound of knuckles against wood. Someone is knocking on your door.“Tam? Tammy, dear, are you awake?” the voice of your mother rings out. “I'm heading off to work, but I just want to let you know that your father is very proud of you and what you did yesterday.”There's a short silence before the sound of what appears to be your mom leaning against your door.“We're all so happy for you. The others had given up on you, but I always knew you'd come around. Have a lovely day, sweetheart.”The sound of her footsteps disappearing down the hallway and down the stairs, and the sound of the front door closing marks the start of the silence that you're so used to being in; the sound of an empty house. Shaking your head and ruffling your hair brings you fully back to reality, and with a slight struggle you manage to unwrap yourself and make your way to your computer. Old habits die hard, you think as you turn on your computer and browse to your regular imageboards and anime news sites. The clock reads 08:30AM, you've slept for 14 hours. The smell that emanates from you wrecks havoc to your senses, cringing your face into an obscure mask of dissatisfaction. It is most definitely time for a shower. You raise yourself with unusual ease and make way to your castle gate. You think to yourself that in the last couple of days, you've not only taken a large step towards re-entering society, but also a large step down the path to regain your sense of personal hygiene. You walk out into the hallway without much care, the events of yesterday having made the thought of facing a family member a lot more bearable. In any case, you know the house to be empty at this point, and you've never really had any trouble walking around in it when nobody's home. Before the ultimatum was put down, though, you just tended to prefer staying in your room, uplinked to the internet. You enter the bathroom and strip out of the clothes you fell asleep in yesterday. The sight of your pale, skeletal figure still makes you grimace and simmer with self hate, but despite toning down your mood it doesn't make you freak out like before. You turn on the water and step in, proceeding to clean yourself good and thorough with some of your mom's soaps and oils. For some reason you feel like smelling better than usually. As you step out of the steamy shower cabin, enjoying the feeling of cleanliness all over, you dry yourself up and put on a robe.
>>28247685A thought hits you, and you wipe down the mirror for condensed water. As your stand there, dressed in the white robe made of soft, towel-like cloth, you grab two handfuls of your curly, dirty blonde hair and tries to braid it to a light pony tail down the side. You phase out for a moment, concentrating on the process of braiding. As you phase back and realize what a girly thing you're doing, you can't help but blush and in a state of embarrassment undo the braid and ruffle your hair up good.Bleh. Too much, you think, as you make your way back to your room and slip on some comfortable clothes. With your mind fresh and clear from the morning refreshment, you note that you're hungrier than usual, most likely because you skipped dinner yesterday. If you know your mom right, she's left a portion of leftovers for you in the fridge for you to heat and munch down as brunch. As you make your way downstairs and open the fridge, you're delighted to find out that you're right; there's a portion of what appears to be chicken fillet with mash and peas wrapped in saran waiting for you. After a quick heating in the magic box that is the microwave, you place yourself in the living room on the couch and dig in to the chicken while watching TV. You stretch yourself, feeling the flush that good food brings settle in every muscle fiber in your body. Your mom's food never fails to be great, even when it's leftovers that's been reheated. You raise yourself and make way to the kitchen where you plop the plate and utensils in the dishwasher after rinsing them under the tap. You trot back upstairs and place yourself in front of your computer, notebook from yesterday on the side and intentions to find something useful sternly fixed in your mind.Your tiny suburbia town, as it turns out, have changed in the last two years. There's a new mall opened not far from where you live, and there's a strip of commercial stores that's sprouted along a road with heavy traffic. Not only that, but according to Google, there's a whole new part of the neighbourhood being erected at the moment, which surely will bring new people and more business. You can't help but be surprised by this, since you thought your image of the place was complete. But of course, two years of the constant change that the world is in is sure to bring on new and exciting things. You note down several stores and fastfood restaurants that might be in need of personnel, and for good measure also write up some interesting stores in the mall and the number of the local library. As it turns out, the local mall have a book store, a comic store, a video game store, a music and film store, and a tabletop gaming store. You smile slyly to yourself, thinking that any of those would welcome a shy cutie like you. Too much internet haven't done nice things to the way you perceive men in general, much less those who indulge themselves in the Nerdy Arts.cont.
>>28248252You look into educational possibilities too. Several places in the downtown area of the city you're living in the suburbs of offer classes, both daytime and night-time, that with the resulting exam qualifies you to attend university. You can't help but getting butterflies in your stomach thinking of academia, recalling how you would diligently study for tests and make sure to always show up on time to your high school classes. There's no denying it, you were a bit of a nerd back before you dropped out. The ball of lead in your chest returns, this time in the bottom of your stomach, as you reminisce on the time wasted and the knowledge forgotten.Googling a bit more around, you come across an advertisement for a boarding school. After reading up on it, it turns out that it offers a full highschool-equivalent educational course for every young person under 20. You'd have to move away from home and live at the dorm, though, and the monthly payments were far from cheap. But you realize that a strict environment with lots of discipline might be good for you and your return to normal life, seeing as how difficult you're having it on your own doing simple things such as talking with your family.Three hours go by, you just looking up things and taking notes while listening to some j-core from your wast library of weeaboo music. When you finally feel satisfied with your research, you've filled out five pages in your notebook with names, addresses phone numbers, contact persons, and a slight description of every store and educational facility that you found to pique your interest. With a satisfied 'hmph' you close the notebook and browse your way to your regular imageboard. All this activity has put you in the mood for some shitposting.>A. Play some vidya to pass the time>B. As you hear a door close that's not your door, you conclude that it's Kasper who got back home from classes.Every now and then you glance at the notebook lying on the corner of your desk. Every time you're reminded about what you have to do, and every time you recall yet another problem you have to fix before being able to do so; you have to learn how to hold a conversation, you have to learn how to exit the house, you have to write up a resume, you have to apply yourself and convince people they need you, you might have to follow regular classes again, you might have to do vocal exams, you might have to ride public transportation, and so forth. For every problem that your mind lists, you grow more and more anxious and angry about your situation. You start questioning yourself, why you have to change yourself to something else. Why do I have to do it? I'm perfectly fine as I am. I don't bother anyone. It's my family's fault that they can't tolerate me as a person. I'm doing nothing wrong. This is all their fault! >>28249699Too attractive to be a NEET for 2 years, but it's anime style so what are you going to do
>>28249665Now Tammy, let's make it clear to your brother that he shouldn't expect anything out of you, and at the same time sort out your thoughts. It is best that other people have no expectations of you, it will only cause you undeserved anxiety.>C. Talk about your serious doubt in yourself
>>28249665First A and how you thought you could ease yourself back into talking to people by asking him for help. Then B, your failure to do so earlier. Then C, you feel that in the past two days you've managed a few stumbles forward but now you're plateauing...if you can't jump these hurdles......so...it took me way too long to work up the courage to get over here and then I just choked.
>>28249665>A. talk about talking>>28249710NEET is a lifestyle choice, like occupation or sexuality.
I would like to call for a 1 hour recess while I get some dinner and some minor chores done. I basically sat down and made this thread right after getting home.Anyway, feel free to continue voting and discussing. What store environment would be the best for Tammy?
>>28249699She doesn't appear to be a smoker though, unlike the picture.
>>28249832convenience store? something not too crowded with high pressure like a coffee shop.
>>28249832I'd figure something where she wouldn't have to deal with a lot of people. Working in the back and doing inventory, stocking shelves before and after opening, stuff like that, that way she doesn't go spaghetti on customers and can wet her feet with having responsibilities and co-workers.
>>28249832In that case, the anxiety at the back of her mind needs to disappear for the rest of the thread, I need to be elsewhere in one hour.
>>28249886Truly indicative of her brother's calming influence on her.
>>28249886Leave now and never come back
>>28249905Don't say that, then he'll go anon and play nice until someone seemingly betrays us in our early forays outside the home in our early work/school attempts and he returns in name and Tammy flings her arms around him, unable to find comfort in much else...stupid hobbitses
>>28249832Yeah dude, take breaks as you need. Your threads are pretty slow, kinda relaxed. That's good. Also, you asked for writing advice. Your strong point is talking about feelings, emotions, and I guess the cage that people put themselves in. Your stuff is visceral. You admitted you had trouble with feely stuff, and it shows. The reaction of the mother felt unrealistic to me. Maybe that's just because I've never seen my child turn into a sequestered hermit. I'd say dial back on peoples reactions a bit. But that's just me. For store, well, she can't really talk to people. And we don't want to put her anywhere where an angry customer would give her a breakdown. Could she work in a mailroom or something?
>>28249905Heh yeah we could make it so. As for work, since Tammy doesn't have much of education a low-wage store job is probably most she can get, and she seriously can't handle anything where she's in constant contact with customers. Maybe a relative might run a store where she could do something in relative solitude.>>28249905Oh, if only getting rid of things that drag you down was so easy.
>>28249977If only someone opened up a shy girl maid cafe......my god that would be adorable......excuse me...
>>28248272>Also, should Tammy go back to school or get a job?Boarding school, with a part-time job to fill the time until term starts. She needs a focused environment where things are ordered for her and she can't just forget to show up or play vidya instead.A boarding school will provide such an environment and force her to socialise with people outside her family.>>28249832>What store environment would be the best for Tammy?Tabletop store. Tammy's a nerd and even if the customers aren't as asocial as she is, the fact she's a girl should help level things. It's also a chance to meet people with a shared hobby.
What about a busboy job, or even a dishwasher? Neither are particularly "sociable" jobs, so you don't have to talk much at all. You just either clean tables after people left, or hang in the back alone, hosing off plates and stuff.
>>28250040I'm concerned about giving her jobs that don't require socializing at all, because it really doesn't help her sort out her personal issues
>>28250003The problem with working at a LFGS is that Tammy'd have constant stream of mouthbreathing fa/tg/uys smelling of cheetos trying to hit on her. Not an evinroment conductive to opening up.
>>28250003She's too antisocial for anything /tg/ related, work-wise. Putting her in a situation where neckbeards are going to constantly fawn over and hang onto her because "lolgamergurl" would likely cause a breakdown.
>>28250056At this point however even that would be an improvement. Doing something, on a schedule, instead of doing nothing at al.
>>28250079Maybe a quiet job reshelving books at the library, most libraries will take for hire volunteers and pay minimum wage in my area.
>>28250056Stepping stones. Gotta learn to crawl before you can walk. At least that can be something to bring in a paycheck, ease mom and dads concerns a bit, and buy time to fix things and learn how to be a functional human being. Jobs aren't permanent.
Could we perhaps convince Tammy's parents to let her stay if she finds some kind of activity to get her outside - even volunteer work?I mean, isn't that the whole point of their scheme, to get her outside and active again?
>>28250152Volunteer work is like an unpaying job. I imagine they'd grant her some leeway if she was being productive. Like another month or so.Plus we'd have something to put on our resume.
its no wonder tammy breaks down all the time the way you guys put her in all those compromising situationsshe's only two days in for fucks sake

You take a deep breath, forcing the sobs to stop, then unload yourself to the best of your ability;"W-what mom said, it r-really worries me. I can't just g-go out into the world again after all... this. I can't... I can't t-talk to people like I used to. I feel like my voice locks up every time I try t-to explain myself. I end stumbling over everything and p-panicking. I... I forgot how to be a normal person, and all I am now is t-this...freak, unable to even talk to my father. I want to c-change, I honestly do. But I don't know how. Please... Help me."At the last two words erupt from your mouth with the same level as pleading as if you begged for your life, you turn your gaze back up to meet with the eyes of your brother. His face still locked in the same stern expression that he's inherited from your father, but his eyes now displaying visible sadness, the exact same sadness present in your mom's eyes every time she would look at you during the last year. You can't stand it. All this time, you thought to yourself that your brother was another apathetic piece of shit, not at all caring for you or your situation. That all he saw was his loser sister slowly descending into madness. And now, after all this time, he's listening to you, holding you safe, displaying obvious worry to your well being. You can't stand your own stupidity; you could have reached out to him but didn't. You fall over the emotional edge yet again, and silent tears roll down your ceramic cheeks.cont.
>>28251290>Fucking thank youEh? What for?
>>28251327After what felt like an eternity, just you two sitting there connecting wordlessly the way siblings do, slowly repairing the bridge between you in quiet contemplation, your brother opens his mouth and says the words you so longed for;"Sure thing, sis. Let's talk."You let out a half yelp, half sigh of relief your brother pulls up his legs onto the bed and positions himself facing you, a smile on his face telling you that everything is as it should be. You begin telling him about everything, your anger, your worries, what you've done so far, and you even talk about the event two years ago. All the time he just sits there, listening, only opening his mouth to ask you questions if you grind to a halt. Time feels like it's passing by without paying any notice to either of you, and before long the sun outside your brother's window descends into pink hues, hovering right over the horizon coloring the cold winter atmosphere crimson. At one point after a severely heavily laden emotional part, you can't control your body as you throw your arms around you brother and cry out in sheer joy about how much you've missed him. He doesn't answer, but simply returns the hug.Talking to your brother got easier and easier the more you vented, and in the end you manage to formulate yourself without stumbling or stuttering. It's here that Kasper stops you."That's enough for tonight, sis. Don't overdo it. You've made it clear to me what this is all about. Don't worry, I will talk to mom and dad about this, but I'll keep a lid on the details. Let's keep this between us two." He stands up, and to your bewilderment lifts you off the bed by your arms. He then proceeds to guide you out his door towards your room in silence. As you both stand before your open door, you turn around to face him. He's occupied looking into your semi-lit room.
>>28251344"Wow, you really did a good job with the cleaning. Nice work. You know, you could smell your room all the way to the staircase before. That's why mom and dad never showed any guests upstairs." You blush heavily out of embarrassment and look down at the floor, not knowing what to say. You didn't know this, your sense of smell heavily adjusted to your living situation. Kasper, seeing this, sighs with a smile on his face and ruffles your hair with his heavy hand."Don't worry, sis, that's all over now, right? Everything is going to be alright, trust me. See you at dinner." With that said, he turns around and walks back to his room, and before long the sound of Nujabes can be heard. You continue standing there in the door opening, taking your time to comprehend what just happened. In the end, you smile the widest smile in a long time, and close the door behind you, not locking your door this time. You feel as if nothing can stop you, and with your brother on your side now to be your guardian through the forest of despair everything appears a bit more bright. Your overconfidence makes you rise out of your chair with a goal in mind; you're going to take that step.Rummaging through your closet, you conclude that you don't have a single pair of shoes. But that isn't going to stop you now. You pull a sweater jacket out of its dusty chamber and put it over your shoulders. Barefooted, you enter the hallway and walk down the staircase to stand face to plank with the intimidating redwood front door. A car drives by, a dog barks somewhere, a couple of kids can be heard laughing far away, and the way the wind plays in the leafless tree crowns can only be described as incredibly overwhelming in your ears. You resist the urge to fall to your knees crying. Your legs are trembling, the ball of lead showing its ugly head in the center of your chest, but the sights and sounds are such beauty to your depraved mind that it rivals the feeling of anxiety and fear. You're torn between running back upstairs and hide the rest of the day or dive face first into a pile of snow. Like the sprout of a plant breaching through the shell of its seed to reveal new life, you slowly lift your right foot off the floor. First the heel, then the sole, and last but not least your toes. Time seems to slow down to almost standstill as your let your foot take the critical flight over the door frame and out into the world. Placing it down on the cold stone tile makes your nerve endings cry out to your brain, sending a shiver up through your body from the bottom of your foot. You can feel your hear rate going through the roof, and a forgotten feeling arise in your chest, completely obliterating the steel ball that had been stuck there; you're excited for the first time in a long while. You take the weight off your left foot, and let your whole body slide through the opening to the house. You clutch the jacket around you, warding off the bitter winter cold, and as you take more steps out into the front garden, you look around the world and up into the sky with amazement. Never before in your life can you recall such a feeling of freedom, like a bird taking its first flight out of the home nest. Except this bird had a broken wing, and had since then been afraid of taking off again. Your eyes widen, you jaw drops, as your mind automatically attempts to take in every sound, every smell, and every sight possible. The outside world is almost surreal, everything feeling as if never experienced before. You raise your hand to your mouth, letting a tear of joy roll down your rosy, frost-tickled cheeks.cont.
>>28252924You let out a yelp of joy, only to find it muffled by the white, snowy outdoor acoustics. A cloud of vapour escapes your mouth, and you find yourself huffing and puffing to create the effect again to your own amusement. The spell that the beauty of the snowy neighbourhood had cast upon you is broken by the sound of laughter coming from somewhere down the street. You turn around to see a group of three walking down the street towards you, locked in a hearty conversation about something. They're all young men clad in winter clothings, and as they get closer one of them spots you standing there on the front porch, barefooted in summer clothing with nothing but a sweater jacket wrapped around your shoulders, you skin complexion matching that of the surrounding landscape. The guy who spotted you nudges his friend in the side and nods towards you. They break up their conversation and look at you with intrigue.Your mind goes blank for a second, processing this completely strange situation. Failure to do so activates your emergency protocols, and you do a heel turn and bolt inside, slamming the door behind you. You rush upstairs, discarding the jacket on the hallway floor, and as soon as you reach your room you dive into bed, snuggling up under your bed cover. Smiling and giggling to yourself, you rub your icy hands and feet to get the blood flowing and heat regained. You did it. You managed to go outside the house for the first time in over a year. Never have you ever felt such a feeling of accomplishment, and you're not really sure how to handle the growing amazing feeling inside you. Allowing yourself to fully embrace the stimuli, you bend your back as you hit a certain ticklish spot, sending ripples of static emanating from your loins out through your body, making your mind drift back to the thought of you standing outside, getting observed by three young guys in one of your most intimate moments in a long time.Recalling the curious face of the guy who spotted you first, you twist a certain place ever so slightly and let out an audible gasp followed by a moan that combined with the breathtaking pleasure makes you support yourself against the showers walls with your free hand. Breathing harder and harder, moving your fingers faster and faster with a level of dexterity worthy of a level 20 Rogue, you manage to reach climax in a cascade of pleasure and emotions, one image standing clear on your inner silver screen that in the end made the process so much more intense; the image of you being looked at by three young men without them showing disgust.cont.
>>28254314Regaining your composure and controlling your breathing, look down at yourself only to see your limbs even redder than before due to this rigid activity. You finish up cleaning yourself, and take your time drying your body, as you still want to feel every inch to ensure that you actually exist. Draping yourself in your bath robe, you tip toe back to your room, making sure that music is still playing from Kasper's room so he didn't hear your shower antics. Leaning back in your trusty computer chair, you feel absolutely exhausted but immensely satisfied; today has certainly been one of the best days in a long while. The clock in the bottom right of your computer screen reads 05:45PM, so mom should be home soon.>A. Play vidya>B. Pick up a book>C. Lurk imageboards>D. Take a nap>E. Watch some anime>F. >>28254334>D. Take a napBest take a nap, the day has been full of various, uh, stimuli.
>>28254334(B)ook, we need to wean ourselves off technology.
>>28254334>>B. Pick up a bookRead some fantasy.
>>28254334>B. Pick up a bookOr D. take a nap, reading the book in bed to clear our mind beforehand.
>>28254368B-but people were requesting it.That makes it ok, right?Right?
>>28254413Just because people requested doesn't mean you should accede to their demands OP.I feel the need to take a shower now after reading that.
>>28254314>moving your fingers faster and faster with a level of dexterity worthy of a level 20 Roguei pissed myself
>>28254334Please don't do that ever again OP.
>>28254334E. Go with Bebop. Bitches love Bebop. You don't have to write them every time we're in a shower. I'm enjoying the hopeful joy that she's getting just as much (albiet in a different way). Then again I'm a big friggin whiteknight.
>>28254442Seems like I have a rare ability to make people crave showers.>>28254473Was it really that bad?
>>28254334A. Play an hour of Vidya. We, we earned it. Back into that MMO we started. Then, attempt to join family for dinner. We did a lot today, so instead of our usual grab and go, we should sit with the family and have seconds. We need to cover these hip bones back up. We don't have to talk, just sit. Maybe ask mom after dinner if she knows where our old shoes and winter clothes went too? Or write it on a notecard with an explanation that we had a talk with Kasper and we're still a little emotionally drained. Victorious and jubilant, but drained all the same.
>>28254491I feel dirty after reading that.
>>28254491It seems that YOU are the cure to poor neckbeard hygine.... you must publish your work and hide it in various rulebooks for unsuspecting neckbeards to find...

The thread is now on the archive, if anyone cares.
>>28254521I'd think she's more into offline gaming than MMOs.
>>28254491I don't really mind it, it makes sense that a neet would have some serious sexual frustration and it doesn't take anything away from the story
>>28254569Though this is a work safe board, so tow the line with care.
>>28254593With the ERP threads allowed to exist? I don't think there's much need for that.
>>28254593>he wasn't here for HLQ or any of the other complete smut questsBut really, at least this in in character. Maybe we don't need it that detailed in the future, but it should be mentioned.
>>28254491I didn't mind it either.
>>28254413>>28254491It was great and totally in-character for Tammy. Do it again next time it makes sense.I like how she was excited out of euphoria and satisfaction in a way that, we must imagine, her schlicks over the past two years weren't. It's a sign of her development.>>28254442Because of reasons, right?
Alright, I'll try to keep it sober unless it's fitting. Which I found it to be this time around. And in the process of describing it, I'll dodge around using direct words and make it sound a bit more describing instead of directly smutty.
>>28254785I agree it was fitting this time, and I felt the wording was good. Smutty beats matter of fact.Tam actually schlicked last thread, but nobody complained because it wasn't a long scene. So have it happen when it makes sense as something for Tam to do (and when votes go for it) and put focus on it like this time when it fits the narrative, like it did here.
fuck all these people acting like adding in the schlicking scene was that big of a dealsexuality is an important aspect of everyone's lives, it makes complete sense to include it in this. bunch of damn prunes

Your bookcase is an ancient piece of furniture, masterly carved from heavy oak and standing almost two and a half meters tall, packed with all kinds of books collected by you and your parents and grandparents, passed on through the generations like knowledge should be.Browsing through the titles of several great works, you decide to pick an easy one for your brain to relax to; The Neverending Story. >>28254989Oh, she's nearsighted?`
>>28255017>overly descriptiveBut that's part of good writing, OP.
>>28255017Don't you mean AM?Truly enjoyed it. It's the prose that puts you into the exact mindset of the character.

>>28255061>>28255051And yeah, I mean AM too.
>>28255061Believe me, it won't. I have tonnes of shit planned. Which I might already have foreshadowed slightly.
>>28255017nah that was all great OP and the people complaining about the schlick scene are some prudish motherfuckers (are you guys all trying to do no fap november or something?)cheers from /lit/
>>28255067Fortunately, there's enough overlap between /k/ and /tg/ that most of us should understand the 24h system. Out of curiosity, US citizen abroad or non-us citizen? Your english is impeccable.
Not to be a total dick head, but I don't think women like this actually exist, and does anyone's family actually act like this? The concept is so goddamn great, but the characters are so fucking unrealistic OP.Shit, maybe I have it all wrong though and there are people like this. Please prove me wrong. Someone. Anyone.
>>28255084Oh great, now I have to read all of that again to look at potential implications. Also are you in CET then? Bruder?
>>28255104I'm Danish, but went to an international school and works with the English language all the time. And thanks, I really appreciate it. Apparently my accent is good too, since people constantly ask me where I'm from.

>>28255104>there's enough overlap between /k/ and /tg/What the hell gave you that idea? And I personally just know 24 hour time because it's really simple, as I assume most people that know it do.
>>28255145Their love of HFY threads, a collision of interests in fiction, a number of threads where I've seen people from both pop in on both boards, and the fact that most of my friends who come here attend those two boards.
>>28255145I think the US is one of the few places that generally uses a 12-hour clock instead of 24, at least that's how I've understood it.
>>28255144Okay, maybe there are nerdy NEET girls all over the place, I'll accept that, though it might take a while to really set in; But do people really act like that to each other? Being kind and compassionate? Or is it a thing people only do towards girls and because I'm not a girl people are assholes to me all the time?Or maybe people treat me like an asshole because I treat them like that first?Fuck you /tg/, you just made me reexamine my entire lifestyle.
>>28255104>US citizen abroad or non-us citizen? Your english is impeccable. There's countries besides the US with English as a principle language...
>>28255271>But do people really act like that to each other? Being kind and compassionate?Yes.Despite popular belief, people do actually care when they see someone in need of caring. It's one of those primal instincts that since the dawn of time have helped mankind form groups of people that cling together, which later forms the foundation of civilization.People who're unable to show kindness and compassion are generally regarded as sociopaths, and are shunned upon. And with that said, I leave you all with an awesome song as I quest forward to the Realm of Dreams. Goodnight, /tg/.www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7Q6585B5n0
>>28255271There certainly is a double standard where girls are shy/cute and just haven't found the right guy yet, while guys are losers and moochers.
>>28255271>But do people really act like that to each other? Being kind and compassionate? It's almost as if family members are inclined to help each other.GASP.
>>28255271I've was pretty much full NEET(hadn't left my room for a year except for extremely short trips) until my OCD/Anxiety pushed my friend to getting me help. So, I'm sorry you've been unlucky comrade.
>>28255271>Okay, maybe there are nerdy NEET girls all over the place, I'll accept that, though it might take a while to really set inConsider how high the probabilty of seeing a NEET in, for example, public transportation is against the probability of seeing normal people that go to, say, work....I mean come on.Also1) You as a man will never understand the ineractions between 2 women. I've tried, I just can't and no other man I know can, and 2) Do you not have a sister or brother? Because I think this is pretty normal once you've gotten over the whole rivalry thing that all siblings have going on for a while>>28255304Or you know, people actually know more than one language and are fluent in it. English isn't my first language either.
>>28255143One final question. Apple or Cherry?>>28255304True, but he's in a European timezone, noted by places like Rome and Brussels. One of the places in the US that you'd think would be all about that.
>>28255310It doesn't seem like that's the case to me.Maybe I should get out more?>>28255324I've never heard about that before, that's pretty fucked up.>>28255329Doesn't seem like it to me, every family I've seen almost all just hate each other.>>28255342How did you have friends when you were NEET?How did you become NEET when you had friends?Better yet, explain 'friends' to me please/\
>>28255389:/I'm honestly hoping that you're trolling at this point, because the alternative is pretty disturbing.
>>28255354My point was someone being good at English prompt the question "English first language or not?" not "American or not?"
>>28255354>Do you not have a sister or brother? Because I think this is pretty normal once you've gotten over the whole rivalry thing that all siblings have going on for a whileI have 3 brothers, not once has this happened where someone actually gave a fuck about me.That really happens?
>>28255404What makes you think I'm trolling you?I'm not that fucked up am I?
>>28255355But the question on American citizenship was nothing to do with that. He could have been from Britain, Ireland, Canada, Australia or New Zealand his answer would have been the same as if he spoke English as a second language.
>>28255389A friend is a person that you get along with because you can relate to the way each other thinks. The better in sync your brains are, the better friends you can become. You can also entrust many personal things to such a person, because that person will understand why it happened and why you did as you did in that situation. You can also do many things with this person, because you will both enjoy it due to being in sync. It's like having a real-life copy of yourself to run around and do stuff with, expect they're still completely different to you because that's how humans work.
>>28255389>I've never heard about that before, that's pretty fucked up.Look at the people ITT who say shy girls are cute. What would girls think of similar guys?
>>28255451The implications aren't that really good to be honest.Assuming that you're not trolling, I'd suggest you try to get some help. Or at least make a friend.
>>28255105The concept is not really that great. But you're right, these characters are not believable.Especially the main character. But who knows if that's intentional or not, since this quest is very heavily inspired by saccharine mangoos and dating simulators which are written about this horribly.tldr cant tell if bad or ironic.
>>28255389I lived with a friend for a few years. But there'd be stretches of several weeks were I didn't see him despite living in single floor apartment. And doing cooking/cleaning. It didn't help that he had a night job.I am(it was way worse before a few medications) literally scared of talking to people without prep time.
>>28255420Given the fact that this is visited by an overwhelming amount of Americans, and that Americans make up the majority of native English speakers (300 million murriclaps vs 40 million britbongs iirc) at least on 4chan this is a valid question.>>28255429Yes. I can tell from personal experience and seeing it in other families. Also I could go into biology where helping someone with a significant amount of the same genes will pay off as long as the expended energy is less than what would be expended in the individuums one reproduction. Basically families care about each other until all members can support themselves indivudually.
>>28255389>>28255492Well shit, and I thought I had problems with social interactions.
>>28255501It's a worse version of a valid question, and your statistics just make it not as badly worse as it might otherwise be.
>>28255469Oh, that was basically my concept of friends too.I've tried to make friends but no one is like me.How do I find people like me?Do I just ask myself where I would be and then go there?Because the answer is posting on 4chan or at home, or at work. And I'm pretty sure no one would EVER want to meet up with a stranger from 4chan if they had any sense.>>28255476I see what you mean. I think it's because girls are preferred to be submissive by most men(shyness as seen as such), and men are preferred to be dominant by most girls(outgoing, confident, powerful, etc.)>>28255477Weird that you mention getting help, I intended to go see someone pretty soon about all this.>Or at least make a friend.>at least make a friend.>make a friend.>at least>implying it's easy to make friends.but thanks for the concern anyway, I appreciate it.
>>28255511"Scared" makes sound worse then it it now. I'm just really nervous when talking to people now. I ride the bus and everything(haha)! But before the intervention, yeah, I locked myself in my room when I heard him get up for work.
>>28255598>no one is like me.No one is exactly like somebody else. But it's like gears. They don't have to be exactly the same to click with another one.
>>28255598I've met up with 3 duded from /b/ at some point. We went to a concert and got shitfaced. We talk now and then on facebook. It's not that hard. It's all about leaving your comfort zone.
>>28255626hmmm...I still have no idea where to make friends.I think it's probably best for me to just forget about for now until I find someone that "clicks" with me.Which may be never.Oh well.
>>28255456My reasoning was that since he wrote as well as, if not better than, most english speakers he likely had it as a primary language. The time zone made me believe he's probably from Europe (as South Africa's capital is an hour's difference time zone), and that people who speak English as their primary language are probably going to be from the UK, Ireland, or foreign nationals in Europe. Due to the higher population than other English speaking countries (leading to more tourists) and numerous military bases throughout Europe, the US is most likely to be the next highest contender for someone who writes so well. Mentioning the US first over Europe was simply habit, as most people mention their home before they mention other places.
>>28255660Would you have preferred I lied?
>>28255656Hobby gatherings are great for that. You know you have at least one thing in common. What are your hobbies, anon?
>>28255672I think you shouldn't meet up with children you pervert. That's what /b/ is nowadays, isn't it? A bunch of children that use it as a kind of facebook replacement.I haven' been on /b/ in 3 years.
>>28255598>I think it's because girls are preferred to be submissive by most men(shyness as seen as such), and men are preferred to be dominant by most girls(outgoing, confident, powerful, etc.)Yes, which means guys have an expectation to be successful while girls don't. This does apply beyond romance too: guys will be more scornful of a fellow guy than girls will of a fellow girl, and parents will be more tolerant of a girl not getting a job or being in education.
>>28255697It's still 4chan's spam filter, but the dudes I met were above the age of 18 and pretty cool.
>>28255677Video games I guess if that counts.I read a little bit.I've always wanted to get into Pen and Paper gaming, but I've only ever managed to play a couple of times.I watch a lot of movies.I watch a few tv shows. How's that? Also I'm a guy if that matters.
>>28255658The thing is that it's not very useful, when talking about language, to put everyone into the categories of "Americans" and "everyone else" when you could put them into the categories "native English speakers" and "fluent non-native speakers".
>>28255698That's got something to do with our mating system. You can't change that very easily. It should/could be different in a very well developed modern society but it mostly isn't as of now.
>>28255324There is an evolutionary explanation. Look up neotony in humans. Crazy shit.
>>28255728>I read a little bit.Book clubs and stuff?>people talking about evopsychAugh.
>>28255747>>28255754It's the way things have worked historically, but it's not good for modern society, and pointing it out as the sexism it is is how it gets fixed.
What was the event two years ago?
>>28255835Tammy was a guy who magically became a girl
>>28255847Oh now that would be an interesting surprise for and eventual lover.
>>28255754This has nothing to do with neotony though. Getting a child expends a certain amount of energy and for a time prevents the major contributor from getting other children. The minor contributor is fine and can go on, like he does in many other species if the young can take care of themselves. In humans they can't. Human children need extensive care that the major contributor has to provide after birth, but that's still not enough so for the child to survive the minor contributor has to do something to. And there the gender condlict comes in. Major cont. want's minor cont. to do as much as possible (since she is now occupied with the child and it's not advisable to get another one with another minor cont.) while minor cont. wants to do as little as possible since he can just go on and get another child. Depending on the available resources different mating systems will develop. If there are very many resources the major conts. can raise the children themselves, a minor cont. can get very many children that he doesn't have to care about > development of harems, etc. This is a very brieg overview but that's how it works.>>28255823"Historically" in this sense means evolutionary. That these principles have been engrained into societs since ancient times is just a natural cause. There is nothing delibarete about them.
>>28254785By the way, as a profound hater of badly written smut, I rate it as 7/10. There was just a little bit of purplish prose ("the Mount Venus to your own Garden of Eden") but it was more playful than trying hard. Also, it didn't feel mechanical, and it was in-character at that moment. You're a good writer in my book, man.Yes, I know he's gone, but maybe he reads the archieved thread afterwards.
>>28255892"Historically" meaning over history. The fact that we can choose to ignore such primitive biases is proof it's not ingrained.
>>28256088>we can chooseYeah under the very specific conditions that define a modern society we can choose to not follow many evolutionary patterns. We've built this very intricate box around us that allows this. If this box ever collapses (and I hope it won't) all this choosing is over. And this is definitely not a primitive bias this a a proven concept and accepted by pretty much everyone.
>>28256038I liked that prose, probably because as you said it was playful language, not showing off flowery writing.
>>28256161What are you talking about? For any behavior, I can choose not to do it, and some people already choose not to do it.What's "very specific" about that? How can you say sexism you you are saying comes from prehistory is neither primitive nor bias?
>>28256199Well, I'm not talking about a behaviour. I'm talking about selection traits that facilitate behavior. And I never denied that you can, in the conditions you currently live in, choose to not do it and be successful with it. All I'm saying is that under other circumstances, like the ones that were present for 99% of the history of our species choosing to ignore these traits would result in percentage of own genes carried on p = 0, so no evolutionary success. And I don't know where you are getting sexims from now. It should be obvious that oogamous species differ in their gender roles.
>>28256306>I'm not talking about a behaver. I'm talking about selection traits that facilitate behavior.Being able to choose what we do means our traits facilitate every behavior. This is "evopsych but not evopsych" isn't it?>All I'm saying is that under other circumstancesWell we're not talking about other circumstances, so no reason to bring that up.>choosing to ignore these traits"choosing not to do these things">And I don't know where you are getting sexims from now. That's what this conversation was about...
