This is a quest taking place in the Teen Titans animated universe, as well as (loosely) the larger DCAU. Are you new? You can get caught up at http://pastebin.com/cEFrBd9dWe'd love for you to join us! Updates resume shortly.
>>27866237I still don't trust this whole "vacation arc". I've got my eye on you Humble.
>Lets get this party started
Ok so guys, listen. We have a lot on our plate today. Terra is going to show up, and Jinx and Raven are probably going to brain surgery on us.So we probably have a limited amount of time before our attention is forced on those things.I really, really think we have stuff to talk about with Starfire. I mean Cyborg is doing fine, but with Starfire she said we'd talk later, and I think we should before shit hits the fan again.
>>27866335Agreed. She's probably in her room resting, so let's check that out first.
A running leap is given, sending you out into the night. Robin is ahead; his racing footsteps can be heard throwing sand aside as he sprints for his target. Woods are rising as you draw near. Stifling darkness waits within them; a midnight's shadow away from civilization. The faintest glimmers, barely noticeable but certainly present, flicker all around. A biting cold numbs your fingers. Airborne sand scratches your throat. A sudden entry to the thicket marks cuts and irritation upon you, and yet you carry on. The sounds are your directors. Your leader and his prey, heard but unseen. A frantic yelling only hastens your movement. Now you're here. A steel corridor hidden among the trees. This is where you need to be; you know it. This is where the things in the night make their home. One is ahead. It turns to face you. (...) You open your eyes. Wait, what? How'd you get back to your bedroom? Damn! You missed the party. Raven might be upset, but hey, you still had fun playing some video games with Robin. You guys got way too into it; eventually, the two of you just fell asleep in the game room. You must've gotten up at night and gone back to your bed. You were probably too sleepy to remember doing it. Oh well; it was a nice night, party or no. It's a beautiful morning at the peaceful beach resort! You feel well-rested and energetic! T: See if there's a kitchen in this place.U: Head down to the shore.V: Go straight for the city! You want to see the sights.
I'm calling a re-vote on this update. I left early and didn't see who won.
>>27866378Starfire's with peeled skin can't into beach shores.
>>27866378>A steel corridor hidden among the trees. This is where you need to be; you know it. This is where the things in the night make their home.>One is ahead.>It turns to face you.Spoooooooky.
>>27866335>>27866358Anything as long as it isn't more goddamn vidya. We missed the party and talking with Star or Cy because we wanted to play racing with Robin. I mean, we even had the option to tell Robin that his vidya was gay and leave.
>>27866560Oh so you knew that we would chase suspicious figure into the night and wake up in our bed with memory lapses?
>>27866560Even if Star isn't up and around, she'll probably want to do stuff other than vidya. Just talk about happy stuff and be all comfy
>>27866584Am I the only one thinking that next time, if only to make sure we're covered for missing the party, we should grab the rest of the team?
>>27866595I would love that so hard. Shame she can't go on the beach since all the sand would get in her terrible wounds.Hanging in the beach house would be cool too, though. Maybe we can finally have some tropical drinks? There has to be a bar around the place...
>>27866584No, but it was obvious that it'd be a damn waste of time, considering that if we wanted to bond with Robin we'd be sparring instead. Video games with Robin is just pointless. No skills gained and minimal fun had.
>>27866621I kind of have conflicting feelings about it.I mean I kind of feel like whoever is messing with us does not just want to kill us outright. Like we're there for a reason, or we need to completely let our guard down first. I feel like involving the whole team might hurt everybody somehow, like they'll be like "fuck it, it isn't working just kill them" or something.
>>27866710I think we're kind of jumpy when we're offered character interaction stuff. Like we couldn't have done anything else with Robin that day.
>>27866389You want to know if there's a kitchen in this place; you're starving! Some quick searching leads you to your destination. A room with a floor of tiles (a nice change, you must admit) and several counters scattered about.Over one counter, you see a hulking, hunched-over form, covered by a white apron, and topped by a puffy hat. It's Cyborg. He's cooking."Yo!" He calls out, turning to you, but keeping you from spotting whatever it is that's behind him. "You're just in time!""I am?" Asks Beast Boy, surprising everyone in the room as he drops from the ceiling in the form of an insect and reverts to a human being on the way down. "You too." Cyborg's shock wears off, and he pulls a large, white plate from behind his back."Introducing the bacon waffle!" He says, proudly displaying his creation. The seem to be strips of bacon, battered and fried. A: That sounds like the tastiest thing you've ever heard of.B: That sounds like the grossest thing you've ever heard of.C: It looks good, but you'll politely refuse.
>>27866716I'm pretty sure they're just trying to make sure we have a "perfect" vacation, anon.
>>27866779Yes and they want us to stay. FOREVER!
Hey, I was just binging the archive pastebin and have a question: What is going on here? http://s1317.photobucket.com/user/donnmortem/media/DonnMortem_zpsd5ec1e06.png.html?sort=3&o=43
>>27866800Oh man that was really early on.
>>27866800An outside artist's interpretation of Donn in a drawthread. Sadly, they made him look a bit too old to be running around with a bunch of teenagers.Made the rest of us /co/mrades feel guilty.
>>27866766finally waffles. took us long enough.
>>27866848We caught waffles in the beginning with our mouth. We were so innocent then.
>>27866848These aren't just waffles. These are BACON waffles. Like, ten times as good.
>>27866870yeah, beut being at a beach resort and skipping breakfast all the time seemed weird for a bunch of guys who screamed for waffles all the goddamn time.
>>27866885Beast Boy's gonna flip a shit.
>>27866903Remember when we wanted Waffle powers?>>27866912Nah, he eats meat now.
>>27866912Oh... didn't think about that. Hasn't he eaten meat since the crash, though?
>>27866930>>27866932Because he was going to die otherwise. He probably has something disgusting that he can eat somewhere.
>>27866932maybe it's vegan bacon.i which case this would be the only real choice:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXhJPey3i_A
The beach is haunted. This story is now 2spooky4u tier. Abandon all hope ye who post here.
>>27866766The bacon waffle....it's too beautiful for words...
>>27867048we should put maple syrup on that.
Over one counter, you see a hulking, hunched->over form, covered by a white apron, and topped by a puffy hat. >It's Cyborg. He's cooking.>dat mental image
>>27866787NOW he's speaking your language. "Dude, come on!" Says Beast Boy, going to the fridge to get a different meal."Suit yourself." Cyborg replies, throwing off the apron. "I'm hittin' the the beach!"He exits with enthusiastic strides, leaving you and Beast Boy alone together. Your green companion is currently pouring milk into a bowl of cereal. You munch away at Cyborg's creation. It's delicious. "I don't know if I can do this, dude."What? Oh, of course; Terra's probably going to be here soon. Beast Boy's probably getting nervous doubts. He gives a snappy sigh."What if, ya know, she doesn't return the feelings?"D: Tell him that she will. You're sure of it.E: Tell him to just stay confident and go for it. Otherwise, he'll never know.F: Tell him not to get his hopes up.
>tfw BB morphs into a bug to watch us sleep
>>27867171>>27867172>>27867174>>27867175>>27867177>not getting his hopes up so that his confidence/charisma is 10The fuck!? Help a nigga out!
>>27867209I'm not telling my friend to EXPECT a girl to return his feelings because I'm not one to give my friends vain expectations.I will tell my friend to be confident and to go for what he wants, no matter what happens in the end.
Starfire is up next.
>>27867156Folks can vote again now, btw.
>>27867245I'd pump a friend up. Be all, "And turn down the sexiest green shapshifter I know? Nigga you trippin." But whatever, I couldn't care less about what BB is doing unless we're almost killing him.
>>27867171You give him your best advice, and tell him to go for it. "You're right, dude." He says, taking a deep breath. "I've got this."He strides past you with a beaming grin. His hand firmly pats you on the shoulder."Thanks!" He says. You feel as though you have grown closer to Beast Boy, as both a companion, and a friend. You're full and full of energy! There's a set of swimming trunks in your room, a whole city out there to explore, and several of your friends in the beach house to visit! What do you do?G: Hit the beach, of course!H: Go into the city! I: Look around this place. See if you come across any of the other Titans inside.
>>27867395What? The sexy shapeshifter or the not caring about him?
>voting to stay on this wild ride>not going to the city>shiggy diggy
>>27867648I bet if we even try to leave we'll just get mindwiped again. Might as well talk to some people while we're here
>>27867546You scope out the beach house, looking for other residents.Down the hall from your bedroom, you notice an open door, and the foot of a white bed inside of it. This must be where Starfire rests."Hello, friend." Says a harmonious voice from within the room. Starfire must have noticed you."Please, come in. Did you wish to speak with me?"You see her now, under the covers. Only her head is visible, but she's clearly in a better mood than usual. The smile has widened considerably.Visit Starfire?J: Yes.K: Perhaps later; you'd like to do something else.
>>27867677>K: Perhaps later; you'd like to do something else. Why is this so funny to me?

>>27867773Welcome to /tg/, where every character gets their time in the spotlight even that weird pink-haired girl. We hope you enjoy your stay.

>>27867902>>27867903I'll stop you villains!
>>27867686Yes, you did. That's why you're here; to visit her."Wonderful!" Exclaims Starfire, revealing a hint of her old enthusiasm. "Boyfriend Robin has visited me often, but much of my time here has been, 'the dull'."Well, that certainly makes sense. It isn't like there's very much for her to do. "But, please." She begins, politely. "What is it you wish to speak about? I anxiously await our conversation!" Starfire blinks several times, and grins with high spirits. She must be greatly enjoying your company.L: Ask her how she's feeling.M: Ask her if she has anything she's been wanting to talk to someone about.
>>27867927Fine. Party pooper.
>>27867941In order to get to me, you have to get to my girth first. Which thou cannot ignore.
>>27867970Can't argue with that
>>27867967Every party needs a pooper, that's why you invited me
>>27867956>M: Ask her if she has anything she's been wanting to talk to someone about. This is confusing the fuck out of me.Also,>much of my time here has been, 'the dull'."Aww.
>>27868051That's deep man.
Reporting from last thread
>>27868054>This is confusing the fuck out of meIt's basically you asking her to pick the topic, seeing how she's been having a dull time lately. Maybe there's something she's wanting to talk about.
>Expect horrible things to happen tonight>Went to take a nap before shit goes down>Wake up, missed a few updates>Panic>Read down, caught upIM...IM SO HAPPY YOU GUYS, WE LOVE OUR TEAM.

>Spending time with StarFINALLY. SOME FUN.
>>27868254>can't dick>not a robotYou mean it's time for some feels. Fun's out to lunch on this one.
>>27868233We've still had a few shitty waifu war threads, and zero difficult decisions as long as its been on /tg/. I wouldn't jump the gun.
>>27868233Was so wrong to ever doubt you, now if we can spend time with one more TitanNot causing a shit storm, please dont retaliateThis would be considered the best part, and we would have officially talked with everyone. Lets go have that perfect vacation guys!
>>27868288>Only interacting with characters you can dickYou are the bane of these threads.
>>27868303>We've still had a few shitty waifu war threadsNot really.Or at least not to any considerable scale like what we had on /co/.
>>27867978She's the one who's been cooped up in here; you want to know if she has anything to talk about. "There are many things." She says. "But your Earth medicine is notably strong, and I may not remain awake for much longer."That's fine with you."Very well." Starfire begins. "I first must ask you: Have you enjoyed your time with us?"That wasn't the question you expected."Many terrible things have happened, and I fear our team may never reclaim the simple and joyful days of the past. Things were not always like this; there were happier times, and though you have shared in a number of recent successes, your sacrifices have been great. I hope that you do not regret meeting us."N: You could never regret meeting the Titans. You love being on this team!O: It's hard sometimes, but ultimately, you're glad you're here.P: You've had second thoughts. Being a hero has taken a lot out of you.
>>27868324Wrong, I'm interacting with characters that are interesting. They just happen to be either dickable or robots.
>>27868367>Somnius making a good decisionIMPOSSIBRU.
>>27868399You lookin for a little beast in your life?
Come on, this is straight up lying to her. There were definitely times where it was hard to come to terms with what we did to our friends. How can you pretend otherwise.

>>27868527>Implying we're lyingSpeak for yourself you miserable tripfag. You're always the first to lie down and bust open the Ron Paul images.
>>27868497I dunno, I was just thinking that she wants to know how we feel and stuff, and it'd be good for our friend relationship if we let her know how we felt.If your dad dies and someone asks you if you blamed yourself at any parts of those times, they don't want to hear you lie. They want to help, and by helping, bond.
>>27868553You... You've heard of Starfire before right?

>>27868438I know what you mean, but I think my joy at being able to have friends like the Titans is the most important thing to say. Its the truth.I mean we've obviously had trouble, and we wish we could've done things better, but we've apologized to star, and we're trying to do good by the Titans. The fact that it is hard goes without saying. The fact that it doesn't subtract from the fact that we love this team needs to be said.
>>27868617You're right anon! I feel better now.
>>27868367Is she kidding? You love being on this team! "Truly?" She questions, closing her eyes and lighting up with a contented grin. "That is good. I am happy you are here."The room is quiet, but not awkward. You feel as though you have become closer to Starfire. She looks sleepy. The two of you exchange a goodbye, and you leave her to her rest. It's a bright, beautiful morning at the paradise resort! Sunbeams are streaming through slots in the walls. Q: It's time to hit the beach!R: See what's going on in Coast City!S: Look around the building for other Titans.
>People are fighting if we should be happy we're on the team or not, while telling it to StarfireWe can never be happy can we?

>>27868645Being Donne is misery
>>27868634SApologize to Raven and see how we can make it up to her?
>>27868707No because that's dumb.Either memories or powers.
>>27868726In that case I'd vote memories.
We really need to use those swim trunks guys.
>>27868769I disagree. It's not safe.
>>27868681Wondering again, since I'm not sure what to write.

>>27868786We do character interactions and then feel emotionally conflicted.
>>27868797Waterfront and no lifeguard?I'll pass, thank you very much.No wonder why we killed Raven.

>>27868831It's no wonder why Jinx and Starfire got tortured. We're dangerous.Wonder if we'd make good lifeguards instead?
>>27868809It's just Donn, there is no extra e Somnius.
>>27868833We'll have fun in the sun soon enough
>>27868642You aren't going out just yet. First, you'll take the time to explore a little more.Okay, this place isn't that big. You've managed to get a pretty good idea of how to find your way around. You've noticed several doors near your own, and you're fairly confident of whose rooms they conceal. Now your options are a little more robust! However, to your disappointment, no one else seems to be here. Not that you can blame them; it's irregularly warm and sunny outside. You have become more familiar with the layout of the beach house, and will now be able to select whose room you'd like to visit. When they're inside, that is. T: Go to the shore.U: Go into the city; it's the only place you still haven't been.
>>27868899>it's the only place you still haven't been.Oh gee, I wonder why this is important.

>>27869129We liked to teleport. We liked to push it to the limit. It was one of our theme songs. We liked to be reckless. We also assumed that Robin had just about had it with our shit, but we've since gotten his glove print on all of our shirts from all of his back patting, so it's not used as much.

We could do a little more than that."Raven raises an eyebrow. Whatever Jinx has in mind, it won't be easy; both of the magical practitioners know this. "He couldn't have just wiped it all out. Not like he can do to a normal brain. I bet..." Jinx points at Raven to make the point. "...I bet it's just another barrier. If we break it down, we could..." "No." Raven interrupts. "It's too dangerous and you know it. We'd need a direct mental conduit to even think about repairing that kind of..."Jinx grins. Raven understands."You don't really think..." Raven starts."Yeah. I do." Jinx finishes with a wide, almost evil smile."You know what he'd see. Everything. All of it." "So would you. That's the idea." "Ugh."(TO BE CONTINUED)

>>27869812What?...no cookie for you then.
>>27869893Probably not. You should watch selected episodes, because a lot of them are just fighting filler. It was cool when I was a wee lad, but I can't watch as much without getting bored anymore.
>>27869893>Never watched the show, is it something that i should also pick up? I don't know how it would hold up if you strip away the nostalgia. It's a solid kid's show and the characters have a great team dynamic, but I wouldn't start watching it in my adult years for the first time. Then again, if you have some free time why the fuck not?
>>27869893It's really good, I didn't like the last episode though. People say it's a tribute to some classic anime, but it's not a satisfying ending for a western audience.

>>27869703Jinx and Raven approach you just as the game with your companions ends. They're fully dressed, and Raven has her hood turned up. Behind her, Robin and Cyborg exchange brief, solemn glances. Alright then. This situation is a bit strange to you, but you'll hear what she has to say."We had some complications during the whole 'cold weather' ceremony. You let a few things slip your mind."Raven stays quiet while Jinx speaks, but the pink-haired Titans throws an arm around her with enthusiasm."Luckily for you, I know a little bird who can get them back. >>27869893>is it something that i should also pick up?I'd highly recommend it. Stick to it at least through the first two seasons, until the end of Terra's arc, and see what you think.I'd advise against skipping any episodes. >>27869926>I didn't like the last episode though.Heh. I've written essays about that episode, and vehemently disagree.>>27870037TO BE CONTINUED doesn't always mean that I'm done for the day. >>27870066Humble, why must you torment me? In all seriousness though I eagerly await what happens next, and applaud your continued ability to keep me on the edge of my seat
>>27870034When it comes to writing, is being overly descriptive a good thing from a first person perspective? Or does it depend on what character it is?
>>27870066You were lying when you said there wouldn't be a threesome, Humble. I know it's not sex, but it's something dammit
>>27870066Alright, I'd love to hear your viewpoint on it. Please direct me to one of these essays.
>>27870097>Dissing BBYou havin' a giggle, m8?>>27870113So, will there be a chance for us to be friends with Terra? She is one of my favorite characters. Also, hope things go well for BB with her. Dude deserves some happiness.
>>27870116Threesome Mind Meld!
>>27870100It depends. Sometimes heavy use of descriptors is called for, but other times it is not. It depends upon the pace and flow of the work. I hardly use them in this story, but then again, this is written as a rough draft (if even that) for the sake of time. I sometimes turn up the descriptions and indirect narrative when drama is happening, though. See: A certain paragraph just before the big Raven or Jinx decision on the beach a while back. I fluffed that up a bit, and I think it enhanced the dramatic tension.

Tomorrow: shit gonna go down
>>27870136It's not like I saved them anywhere, and I've typed way too much on this to get interested enough to break it down in detail right now. That said, to be brief, it closes out Beast Boy's personal arc through the show, as well as the largest running theme of each season. Every season of Teen Titans is about giving up what you desire most in the world to fulfill your bigger, more important responsibilities. That's a running idea they've carried beautifully, and they continue to expand upon it there. Robin hurts his team to save their life. Terra betrays her best friend to control her destructive powers (though she's much more complex than that). Cyborg prepares to leave the Titans behind to lead Titans East (though this is again more complex, and a sort of false play at the theme). Raven has begun to think of her role in the end of the world as a responsibility that she can't escape from, and destroys everything to bring it about (again this is more complex, and acts as a sort of dark side to the theme). In Things Change, Beast Boy gets a call from his team, telling him that they need help. He turns away from Terra, leaves her behind, and goes out to help them. She's all he wants right then; he's desperate for her; but he leaves her behind and goes into the light, finishing his development line as a character, and not only cementing the general theme, but also solidifying a certain message that the show had been conveying all along. Which I'd get into if I cared to right now, but I still haven't touched on the writing, the subtle visual efforts, the fulfilled sub-themes, and other things that made Things Change (in my opinion) so brilliant as a final entry. Maybe I'll get into it some other time.
>>27870167Since we don't have generals, can you pop into the Alluring stream from time to time to give us a heads up on if you're updating today?
>>27870417He already does that ya goof.
>>27870415Damn, Humble. You like Teen Titans a LOT.
>>27870140>will there be a chance for us to be friends with Terra? There's always been that chance. You guys didn't go for it.It's still possible.>>27870275Today, this.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7lIffL3xaQ>>27870352Yes. Yes it is.>>27870417I'll pop in occasionally. >>27870415I just can't resist continuing this. God, Teen Titans does some BRILLIANT things with its visual design.Look at that image of Terra. Notice how her chin is pointed, her eyes are slanted, and her nose is highly underplayed? Notice how it makes her features snake-like? Those are the features commonly associated with temptation and betrayal, and they add to the growing feeling of unease and apprehension the audience gets towards Terra as her episodes progress.
>>27870458Fuck me, then.
>>27870483You don't even understand that what I typed is the BRIEFEST possible breakdown I could do of JUST ONE EPISODE. Yes. I like it. A lot.Or rather, as someone who is kind of a huge critic of animation and film, I am very impressed with Teen Titans as a show, and feel that it deserves more credit than it gets.
>>27870528That's what you get for acting dmicky virginia. Or whatever he says.
>>27870581So is Raven just annoyed by what Jinx wants to do or is she worried it will go wrong?

Huh, these threads go dead pretty quick after updates end, opposite of /co/
>>27871015Yeah. It sucks.
>>27871135Oh, hey, you're still here. You stick around for quite a while, huh?
>>27871015I find the /tg/ threads in general to be quite dull in all honesty.
>>27871135I would talk about the latest update and speculate and talk about how we're doing, but it seems like nobody wants to talk about that anymore.I don't know if you guys are just afraid of a shitstorm or what.I dunno, do you guys think we're doing ok? I kind of feel like these "you're ok, I'm ok" interactions we're getting are kind of fluff and feel like a wasted opportunity sometimes.
>>27871227Agreed, and I think that's reflecting back on my writing.Although that should change tomorrow and in the coming days, what with exciting segments that are fast approaching.
>>27871227You mean the Humble /tg/ threads, or just /tg/ threads in general?
>>27871239I'm up for speculation, I just thought everyone had left
>>27871135>>27870275 here, went out to get a bite...now if only I could remember what my other question was...Think it...Ah, yes.How do you keep going? I mean, when I write/work on something, eventually I need to take a break to avoid burnout. Do you do similar, or do you just drink another glass of the thread's tears?
>>27869703I'm not sure what to think of this...I'm full of nervous excitement!
>>27871347Good way of thinking Brace yourself
>>27871263Speaking of which, where that Drawfriend that did this?Did he ever finish this?
>>27871373I've been following this story since the start. Even though we've hit a lot of rough patches and tough times I'm still really optimistic.
>>27871288I've written a lot in my life, and it's sort of meditative for me at this point. When I write this thing the hours pass by in what feels like minutes or less, and that's not an exaggeration. I just wish I were less busy so I could really get to the grindstone and crank out a TON of updates each day. Unfortunately, life calls.
I vote we just say no to whatever mind shenanigans they have in mind.
>>27871242>I think that's reflecting back on my writing.I think this is just the middle part of the book, where it becomes a bit of a struggle to keep the excitement going. >>27871263Well the first guess I'm having is that Jinx and Raven are going to use Raven's mirror as a conduit into our mind. But I'm really not confident about that idea.I think it'll have to be some kind of three-way mindmeld. In any case, neither of them probably know the finer details of the crash where we killed Raven, so hopefully everybody will lose their shits over that.I might reread that part just to hype myself up.
>>27871399>In any case, neither of them probably know the finer details of the crash where we killed Raven>MFW I didn't think of that>>27871395I admire your spirit>>27871383Not sure, most of the drawfriends seem to have vanished
>>27871396>I've written a lot in my life, and it's sort of meditative for me at this point.I want this so bad. But I'm so antsy and can't sit still. I don't know if it's just the way my life is right now, but I can't stay still for 30 seconds, or even meditate for 5 minutes. What do you think it is about you that lets you relax into doing something creative like this?
>>27871442You know what?I think Raven would be alright with is, she would probably know that we had to hurry and choose who to save, or else they'd both die. Both of them would probably be miffed that we don't know Basic Survival, like TAKING THE DAMN SHIRTS OFF FIRST.
>>27871469Yeah, even though I've picked the most optimistic choices in today's update, when that shit comes I'm admitting my guilt so hard.
>>27871396Man, you've done a ton of writing for us ever since this thing started way back when. I'm sure everyone would be ecstatic if you could keep this going nonstop for most of the day, but if you've got your own issues to deal with it's completely understandable.
>>27871469We are so fucked...and not in the good way>>27871493I guess we should be honest
>>27871396What's a good production rate a day for you? couple pages, ten? I mean, when you had the time to just go at it.
>>27871493Oh of fucking course, we're gonna spill our guilt all over the damn floor, have some goddamn closure once and for all.I mean, the two people we had a connection with are both dying, and we had to make a choice and fast cause they both were in high pain and slipping away fast. I'd expect they get pissy at first, but come to understand it.Damn, i can imagine the scene happening too, and its pretty feelsy. The worst part is, i don't think Humble is even trying on the sad scenes, so if we get to a REAL depressing scenes, expect the world to flood with tears.
>>27871594Man, I know its gonna come down the choice where we let them see the memory or not.And if we don't let them, we permanently damage everyone's mind.
>>27871594I don't know if I'm ready for those feels, anon
>>27871672Screwed that up, hold on.>Don't let them see the memory. We lose our memory of Jinx forever and screw up another memory along with itOr>Let them see it, and watch them get angry and confused by the choices you make.We can't win man.
>>27871462>What do you think it is about you that lets you relax into doing something creative like this?Trained to zone out via prolonged childhood trauma and unhealthy coping methods.Heh, sorry. I'm not the one to ask; I've always been able to get really zoned-out on a task.>>27871508>. I'm sure everyone would be ecstatic if you could keep this going nonstop for most of the dayI really would love to! That's how it basically was, at first. I did this thing for days on end.>>27871580Whew, I dunno. Right now, if I had a lot of time on my hands, I'd probably hit just under 20 updates daily.>>27871672>>27871694>>27871785>tfw you're all just starting to explore the implications of things to comeHEHEHEHEHE
>>27871785Fuck them. We did what he had to, we don't own them jack shit we made the best choices we could have at that time. I say this as a huge jinx fan btw, if they get mad at us then screw em'
>>27871814How does it feel to be evil? I've tried it, I think it feels pretty good
>>27871814>>tfw you're all just starting to explore the implications of things to comeI am literally on the verge of tears man, do not do this to us. I swear to god ill...Ill...EUUGH....
>>27871855Being evil is too easy, now being Chaotic. That's the way to run with things my boy.
>>27871814Stahp, Humble, you're killing us here...
>>27871814WELP I aint letting these dames in my head. Sorry Jinx but you're gonna have to 50 first dates it.
>>27871744I kind of hope Humble revisits the entire episode before putting us on the spot.I mean as traumatic as that was, time has passed back then. People now can rationalize saying "Well we saved Raven and now we're cool and everything is ok", but that's really bullshit because what we did wrong doesn't have anything to do with everything turning out ok in the end. It's a statement about our character and who we are. Anyway, I hope Humble fucks us up in this dimension.>>27871814Man, I kind of thought about it, but the fact that you're actually following through with it is what makes you so based.
>>27871828I agreeIf they want to know, then fucking let them, if they get angry about it, then fuck them!>>27871905I'm gonna let them go ahead and do brain surgery on us, but i feel like its gonna be another tie breaker again...
>>27871943>its gonna be another tie breaker againShow up tomorrow, be ready to vote.
>>27871814>I've always been able to get really zoned-out on a task.Well, thanks anyway. I mean I used to zone out a lot as a kid, maybe being an adult has just ruined me.I guess I'll have to find the answer in psychology texts.
So how does everybody feel now that we know we can never restore BB's memory?
>>27871943Hopefully it won't come to a tiebreaker.I mean really, they see our memories, so what? They might get mad but we're friends, and team members. Not to mention the fact that one of them is actively trying to restore our memories so that we can remember dating her. They care man, let them see what they have to.
>>27871943>If they want to know, then fucking let them, if they get angry about it, then fuck them!I wouldn't want them poking around in my mind in the first place. Emptying all your inner secrets so you can remember a single date? No fucking deal.
>>27872004Good to see you're overlooking things, glad to have you on board in all of this.
>>27872004Well its a good thing that its our collective mind and not simply yours.Really dude, it would be interesting. Don't be conservative when an opportunity like this only comes once in a Humble storytime.
>>27872004They already walked around in our minds, this isn't anything new for us.If anything it only benefits us to have our mental restraints removed. Stop thinking like a mortal anon
>>27870020>mfw jinx nerfs Donn to Dr. Manhattan proportions and then manipulates time and space to save gotham
>>27872004Except it's not just a single date, it's our entire memory of a person. A person we saved from death, fought alongside, and had at least a strong friendship with. Think about it:The incident with Brother Blood? Gone.Choosing to save her life instead of Raven's? Gone. All the interaction on the island? Gone. And yes, even the date matters.
>>27872070>They already walked around in our minds, this isn't anything new for us.But they haven't.
>>27872101Well what could go wrong if they do?What are they gonna do? Sue us?
>>27872070They've never walked around in our memories. Only briefly while we were conscious to teach us powers. >>27872028Overlooking what? Jinx clearly wants us to remember her, Raven is not so sure. We know mind melds can go really badly, so if she wants to do that it's a bad idea.
>>27872098and the joker stuff, don't forget that
Let's not forget that if they really can restore our memories, we might also remember what happened when we kept blacking out. I say it's worth it.
>>27872098>The incident with Brother Blood? Gone. That was so long ago I can't remember it. That said, we do know about all those instances, just not Jinx's part. It's been what, a few months in the timeline? A short conversation could bring Donn up to speed. Hardly the bond you're making out here...
>>27872117What are you even saying? The things you are saying don't make any sense. If we have our mental restraints removed, we lose. And it is a factual fact that they have not invaded the privacy of our mind at any point.
>>27872075Time-Space fuckery would probably entail repercussions that we could not even begin to fathom.Than again, this is the DC universe. Massive world changing events and death reverse themselves all the time, so go for it.
>>27872149EXACTLYHOLY SHIT i thought i was the only one thinking it, THANK YOU!
>>27872098Oh man.No wonder we told Starfire that things have been great so far.
>>27872188So time together with Jinx is good?Or am i getting mixed signals here?
>>27872149This is a better point. Depending how bullshit this threat is, we might have to risk it.
>>27872140Dammit, I thought I missed something. Thank you.>>27872164> Hardly the bond you're making out hereIt's exactly the bond I'm describing. Jinx and Raven have been our two most-interacted with Titans, for both training and otherwise. It's completely worth showing them our perspective if it means getting back memories of one of them.
>>27872254I honestly think this guy is just getting a reaction out of us here, that or he REALLY hates Jinx.
>>27872231No remembering the dark shit has left us rather blissful.
>>27872231No what I meant is that because a lot of the painful memories we have are obscured, our adventure with the titans are actually a lot more fun than it would seem to him. It was kind of a joke. Why do I even try communicate to you people on 4chan. Maybe party anon has the right idea.
>>27872283So wait, The dark times where we freaked out over Jinx was our best moments, cause we care for her?Im not getting you.
>>27872280Well, as long as it's just the one guy. I got worried that a signifigant number of voters were against us.
>>27872304We can't die. There's no reason to think a coma is possible. The memory thing is a gamble, yeah.Did you really think we could die? Are you new?
>>27872304That should read "memory of a very brief friendship".
Somebody please make a new Teen Titans Quest general thread. We're nearing the end, big stuff is coming up tomorrow, and I have more to say.
>>27872345Are we about to be trimmed?
>>27872329Fuck no, A lot of people seem to agree to let them into our head and snoop in our memories, i trust them better than Mcfuckup Main character going through his own head.
Reposting for grammar fix.>>27872254Going into our memories so they can see what's causing blackouts is a good point.Risking death, coma, loss of more memories for a very brief friendship is not a good point.
>>27872315Time together is good. All those bad things that happened to her? We don't remember them anymore I believe. So instead of horrible, we remember our missions being only bad. At least that's what I believe.
>>27872338Are you new? I'm not talking about Donn. The very first thing Raven told us about mind melding is you risk even death.
>>27872352Very, very soon, Page 9 of 10 and falling.
>>27872375I figure he get the point sooner or later...
>>27872384She meant of the other person. She means that we could've killed BB.
>>27872369Friendships don't have to be long to be worth saving. And this one is definitely fucking worth it.
>>27872409>"Unless..." She begins. "It would still be risky, but I could support your mind-shifting ability, and you could enter his head alongside me. We could go in together, and try to bring Beast Boy back." >It sounds like a perfectly reasonable plan, but Raven continues. "This is dangerous. You can refuse if you'd like. You may fall into a coma yourself. You may die. If you do make it out, you may not ever be the same."There is a risk is on the mind melder. Remember when BB's memories starting physically kicking the everliving shit out of us?
So its a plan then? We're letting them into our minds and try to fix things?Well, Be prepared for mind melding guys, we weren't successful before, but maybe things will be different. OR NOT.Seriously, we could fuck up bigger things than forgetting Jinx, so be PREPARED.
What's the most devastating thing humble could make a character forget?
>>27872627making us forget the whole team, and why we're a titan.>What the hell? How'd i get here? Last i remember, i was trying to find food in the dumpster, then i heard someone screamed...but that's it.
>>27872627How to breath
>>27872608>Forgetting rescuing Raven from Hell>Forgetting defeating Slade with our GOD HANDThat'd be a kick in the nuts. Without our crowning moment of awesome we'd regress back to self pity mode.
>>27872673You'd be fine.Really uncomfortable for a long time, though.
>>27872725I forgot we did that. That was hardcore.
>>27872725I kinda meant anyone besides us.Thanks for responding though. That would suck.
>>27872736You are hardcore, anon.
>>27872784Hardcore at getting teammates killed
>>27872848We only got one teammate killed, twice.I think we're hardcore at scarring our friends more.
>>27871469Not taking the shirts off was just so bad.You can tell how first world most of 4chan is when nobody knows the causes of hypothermia and how to treat it.
>>27872004It doesn't seem like that big of a deal, everything from before we were titans seems like it'd be being a hobo.Either that or we remember things that aren't in our current memory.Either is fine.
>>27873541>We remember our name>Its really fucking Lame>We stick with Donn Mortem instead.
