And I just realized I forgot the subject line. OH WELL TOO LATE NOW.
It's been about a day since the Freeden's set course for Fort Severn, and you've occupied your time familiarizing yourself with the GX Hyper-Spec; not just with how it handles, but the way it was put together, and how the systems were coded. With some tutelage from Kid Salsamille, as well as the rest of the engineers aboard the Freeden, you believe you've managed to better yourself, at least as far as your mechanic skills were concerned. You managed to also gain a basic understanding of how a Mobile Suit's OS is coded.>[Skill Level Up! Mechanic Lvl.1 --> Lvl.2] (+5 to Engineering checks. Your engineering skills have improved somewhat, and you're capable of performing more complicated modifications and repairs.)>[New Skill: Programmer Lvl.1] (+4 to Programming checks. You're capable of coding and modifying simple MS operating systems and subroutines. You're no Steve Jobs, but you've got the drive, at least.)The modifications to Garrod's Daughtress were also completed, and now what was once a bare bones Mobile Suit has become a machine that can (hopefully) match whatever is thrown at it, and then some.Despite the good news, you can't help but feel... apprehensive. You couldn't help it; you've been feeling this way since you've arrived in the frozen northlands... What will you do, Dave?>Have some fun in the rec room; Stress isn't good for your health, you know.>Find something to do around the ship; if you don't you'll go stir-crazy!>Put in some calls... You put in a few calls to some information brokers you know, hoping they'll dig up something on Fort Severn, but it does little to alleviate your paranoia. So, now you find yourself approaching just about everyone for something to do.Kid and his team of engineers had things covered in the hangar, Shingo declined your offer to man the helm, and to your surprise, Jamil suggested you get some rest.Oh, if only you could...So, now you find yourself in a bind. You've got diddly-squat to do, and too much energy to burn. What now?>Try to sleep. You're liable to drive yourself (and others) crazy.>Talk to Tiffa. She's a Newtype, right? You manage to find Tiffa who's sitting in her room, gazing at the snow-covered landscape as the Freeden continues moving. She turns towards you, confused."Mister... David? What are you doing here?" she asks."Tiffa... I don't know if I should be talking to you about stuff like this, but if I don't, i feel like I might explode... you know?"If she does know, she certainly won't tell you, as she just looks at you. you take that as a signal to continue."I just can't help but feel this overwhelming sense of dread as we get closer to our destination." you say, sighing. "I know you said we have an ally waiting for us, but if that's the case, why do I feel like this?"She looks to you, then to her hands, as if unsure of what to say. She doesn't look at you as she speaks."He is... a noble soul..." she says quietly. "But he is caught in a web of lies that spans fifteen years... I don't know what will happen to the Freeden... to Jamil... or to Garrod... and that scares me."You smile a little, patting her on the shoulder."It's okay... I'm scared too." you say, trying to smile. "I just wish I realized sooner I wasn't the only one who felt like this. I'm sorry, Tiffa.""It's okay." she says, still not meeting your gaze."No, it isn't." you say. "I came to someone with my problems and complaints without think about the situation they were in. I let my paranoia dictate my actions. No one should do that."She looks at you, locking her gaze with yours, and it feels like an eternity before she speaks."You say... that you don't get along with others, but you have a gift for bringing people together.""Do I now?" you say, grinning. "... I suppose you have a point. I just hope our potential new comrade will accept this gift you say I have...""Me too..."You leave her room, much calmer than before. We were going to make a profit, but it seems we've put ourselves into another debt- days away from our shop. Also, think on the whole newtype thing. It gives us vague premonitions, but according to the Frost Brothers it can do more. What does it mean to be one? Can we do other things than get vague feeling of foreboding?
>>27252959Suit up, go out and "scout" ahead. (By scout I mean look for some targets of opportunity, we are a junker after all)
>>27253203Lets go with this. Introspection, ahoy!
You throw on a heavy coat and a scarf, and head outside. So much as happened in such a short amount of time. You found yourself taking on an Employee-- No, Garrod was more than that; he was more of an apprentice than anything. The kid survived on his own for a while, but he had no structure to his life; no roots... just like you. You wanted to give him those roots; an anchor... a home. He was more trouble than he was worth, but nonetheless, you did everything in your power to protect him.At any point, you could have taken Garrod with you, gone back home, and washed your hands of all this craziness, but you couldn't do that to him, no matter how hard you'd try to convince yourself otherwise. There was also the matter of what you were... a Newtype. That's what Shagia and Olba called you. You never considered yourself to be one; you weren't one for labels like Newtype, or Oldtype, but the world seemed determined to remind you that it was exactly what you were. A human with enhanced mental capabilities, limited precognition, and God knows what else. You were a Newtype. You had to come to terms with that... but what did it mean to be one? What in the world was just so special about them? You had to know. But who to ask?>Ask Jamil. We could also pull an Amuro and just introspect like a mofo.
You find Jamil in the main deck, sitting in the Captain's chair. He looks to you, surprised to see you up here."What is it, David?" he asks, concern evident in his voice."Jamil... For what reason are we doing this? Coming out all this way to the north? It can't be to just confirm the presence of a Newtype, can it? There's something more to it than that, isn't there?"He goes quiet, and you can feel the eyes of everyone on deck looking right at you."You're right." he says. "We are doing this because people like you and Tiffa... Newtypes that have nothing to do with the war fifteen years ago, are being made into targets, into weapons to be used and thrown away.""That's... That's terrible...!" you say, shocked. People were really trying to make Newtypes into weapons? People like Tiffa?Jamil nods."Indeed it is. Which is why I want to protect them. I want to keep them from being turned into soulless killing machines... into tools of war. I want to protect as many of them as I can from such a life, and offer them solace. Even if I run my body ragged and my mind breaks down, I want to help them in any way I can. That is why we're out here."You're quiet for a moment, unsure of what to say. Finally, you speak."Newtypes are... cursed beings, aren't they?"Jamil purses his lips, flaring his nostrils as he breathes out."Yes, I suppose they are." he admits."Do you ever think we'll be free of that curse?" you ass, trying to read his expression. It's hard to tell what he's thinking with those shades hiding his eyes."I hope so." he says, finally.Satisfied with what he had to tell you, you head to your room. While it answered a lot of your questions and alleviated some of your concerns, there was still that sense of foreboding looming over the horizon. At least you weren't going to lose any sleep... you hoped.Eventually, sleep claims you, and you slumber quietly for a time... at least until you feel the ship lurch to a stop, jolting you awake.(cont'd.)

Garrod has a huge axe, he just needs to swing it around to smack the bits out of the air.
>>27256017While that's a good point- it isn't feasible, really. The only way we could get those intact would be to have them surrender their mobile suits or catch them while they're outside them. We'd end up taking more damage and harm from trying to convince them to surrender than its worth- we might try to disable a mobile suit by destroying tis arms and legs- but it doesn't nean that the guy will get out of there- or worse- like wait until we're close to overheat/damage the reactor to take us with him. Its safer and more profitable to just destroy cockpits- we can sell the other good innards for money and buy cockpit parts if we need to.- at least for grunt mobile suits.Meanwhile, this guy has something interesting that would be worth trying to capture as intact as possible to examine.

It's like you can see the trajectory of the remote weapons; you can predict where they'll be, and from what angle they'll fire. This pilot can't even touch you with the level of focus you're exhibiting. Before he can even blink, you've closed the gap between you and him, and you slice both arms and the head of the MS right off. The machine falls to the ground, and you hold the GX's beam saber to the cockpit hatch. At this point, the bits fall to the ground; the pilot's concentration is broken completely, and Garrod survives, thankfully."Yield." you state flatly. "Come out of your mobile suit with your hands behind your head."The pilot complies, and you feel as though you might lose your lunch. I'm back, folks. You decide to investigate the Bertigo that Kid and the other Engineers are currently taking apart, repairing the damage caused by you, and subsequently putting it back together. Kid is ecstatic to have gotten his hands on a Mobile Suit with a Psycommu system, and that by learning how it works, he can develop his own version for use, as well as find ways to disrupt it or counteract it. You decide to assist him as best you can with the physical work; he's busy typing away, the sheer amounts of code making your head spin. Whatever kind of work went into it, this was way beyond your scope. You look at your GX; out of all the mobile suits, it came out in the best condition, so it would be combat ready sooner than the others, still, your inner inventor is coming to the surface, and you have some ideas floating around in that head of yours, not just for it; for the other Mobile Suits as well. With all the Juracgs you and the others have acquired, you have plenty of parts to work with.Considering that 75% of the Hyper-Specs parts were built from scratch, its old parts are currently in storage. What will you do? Roll 1d20+5 to modify.>Modify the Shield Buster Rifle into the Buster Sheath Rifle and Holster Shield. The Holster Shield can mount an extra Large Beam Sword in addition to holding the Buster Sheath Rifle. DC is 12.>Modify the Hyper-Spec's torso-mounted Vulcan Guns into Beam Vulcans. Requires increasing the generator output of the Hyper-Spec. It's best to run a simulation before you go through the procedure. DC is 16.>Make some Winter Terrain equipment from the Juracg's Sledges. Considering that Garrod's Daughtress took the most punishment, you figured it would be far more prudent to give it an overhaul, rather than simply repair it. Using the GX's old parts and some assistance from the Freeden's engineers, you manage to transform the Daughtress Divider into something that, for all intents and purposes, is a Gundam. The only non-Gundam features one could pick out at closer inspection would be the fact it has a visor, rather than the dual eye setup of all Gundam-type Mobile Suits, and that there are no "mouth-vents" to speak of. The Divider Equipment has remained, but the Mobile Suit itself is all-new.If it quite possibly your best work yet, if you could say so yourself. Considering the Divider Shield was its defining feature... you figured that the best name to give Garrod's machine would be just that. The Divider Gundam. The Gundams have all been repaired, and analysis of the Bertigo has been completed. It also seems that while you were busy modifying Garrod's MS, the others managed to make some winter terrain equipment for the Gundams. Huh.Now what?>Try talking with Carris again. >>27253610>>You never considered yourself to be one; you weren't one for labels like Newtype, or Oldtype, but the world seemed determined to remind you that it was exactly what you were. >>27263734In this timeline he sells the gundam to us instead of trying to sell it to Ennil, so I think so yeah. So she's probably stalking him or whatever right now.
>>27263177>>27263190The Gundam X has a Psycommu already. The Flash System that allows it to fire the Satellite Cannon also allows it to use Bit MS. The Airmaster and Leopard have a Flash System too, but since the pilots aren't Newtypes it doesn't matter. The only Flash System that doesn't allow Bit MS use is the Belphagor's, which is instead used to increase the pilot's ability beyond that of normal newtypes.
You take a look at the Divider Gundam. On paper, its specifications should match that of the other Gundams, considering you had to essentially build an entirely new MS, but how it will actually perform remains to be seen. Hopefully it would live up to expectations. It largely resembled the GX's original form, though the energy-storing panels on the limbs have been replaced with conventional Luna Titanium armor plating, and besides the presence of more prominent vents on the chest, the torso largely resembled a Daughtress' still. You decide to try and speak with Carris again, and before long, you, Jamil, Sala, and Techcs are back in the interrogation room with Carris sitting opposite from you."Look..." you begin, ignoring the glare he's giving you. "I don't like you, and I know you certainly don't like me or anyone else on this ship."Carris just snorts noncommittally at that, not caring to give an actual response."I will say that you are not completely wrong about Vultures. There are some truly vile people out there, motivated by greed, and who hold little regard for human life." you say, keeping eye contact with the blonde Newtype. "But... there are also genuinely good people that call themselves Vultures."Jamil then decides it's time to step forward and speak."I truly regret things turned out this way, Carris." he says, his hands folded behind his back. "We simply wished to confirm the presence of a Newtype, and if possible, offer protection. In this day and age, Newtypes are at risk of being exploited for their powers and abilities. Our goal is to prevent such a thing from occurring, so that a tragedy like the Seventh Space War will never be repeated."Carris narrows his eyes at him. His tone is even, but you can detect a bit of ice to it."You say such things, but how can I be assured that you speak the truth?"(cont'd.)
"I do not know." Jamil admits. "If Tiffa were to vouch for us, You would accuse us of brainwashing her, or forcing her to say those things. Mister West here is also a Newtype, but it is clear your intense dislike for one another would lead you to cast doubt on anything he says."If there was a way for Carris to believe you guys, he wasn't going to tell you, so you had to figure something out yourselves.>Try and convince him. You left the room momentarily to try and find her, and you find her and Garrod outside, just under the main deck. You tell the both of them of your plan, and while Tiffa doesn't object, Garrod insists he come too, since he doesn't trust Carris around her.You considered taking a jab at Garrod, claiming him to be protective of his girlfriend, but you thought better of that. You return to the interrogation room with Tiffa and Garrod in tow."Well Carris, if you cannot trust my word, perhaps it will be different for your 'comrade' and her -boyfriend-." you say, putting an emphasis on that last word. Garrod and Tiffa's cheeks turn a healthy pink, while Carris' complexion manages to turn even paler, if that was possible. You really should carry a camera around with you.Fighting down her blush, Tiffa is the first to speak."I... think of you as a comrade." she says, her expression neutral, and her tone even. "Your judgement may be clouded by lies and misconceptions, but... you are a good person.""Lies? Misconceptions? What do you mean?" asks Carris, eyes widening."You are trapped." she says. "Trapped in a web of lies and deceit... one that extends across fifteen years of resentment..."He says nothing as she continues."The one you trust the most... is not who he seems."Carris looks as though he is about to say something, though he thinks better of it. This time, it's Garrod who speaks."Look..." he starts, clearly trying hard to keep his temper under control. "I don't like you, not one bit. I don't know you either, so that could change. But Tiffa thinks you're a good person, so I'll do what I can to be civil."Carris nods at that, and manages a small smile."Fair enough."(cont'd.)
"The people on the Freeden... they're like a family to me. They might get on my nerves sometimes, they might embarrass me here and there..." he says, looking at you. "But they're good people who really do want to help. My Boss... he's the one that helped me get my head on straight... Before, I was just a punk kid looking to Sell a Gundam, but he helped me realize what's important, and that's him, the people on these ship, and most of all, Tiffa."At that, Tiffa's face goes scarlet, and you could just -smell- the marinara. You could have sworn you heard her mumble "y-you too..." but that might've been your imagination. Finally, you speak."I don't know what kind of place you grew up in, or what you were told, but I will tell you this... Don't just believe what someone tells you to believe. Form your own opinions. Whether or not we're really your enemies all comes down to what you decide for yourself."Carris looks at everyone in the room, and sighs."I... I don't know..." he admits. "I wish I could say that I believe you all, but... Everything I've ever believed in... you've all thrown that into question. I don't know -what- to think right now...""That's fine." you say. "Sometimes, the right answers never come easily. You just have to look for them.""I... thank you." he says, smiling.Jamil smiles as he gets up from his seat, and presses a button on the intercom."Kid, are the repairs to the Bertigo complete?"It's a few seconds before you hear his voice over the ship's radio."Yeah, why?""We're to let Carris go, and let him return to Fort Severn."Garrod looks like he's about to complain, but a glare from both you, Techcs, Sala, and Jamil shut him up.Carris was let go without much fanfare, and things seemed to return to normal. Now what?>Check in with your contacts; see if they dug up anything on Fort Severn>Show Garrod the Divider Gundam. You decide not to dwell on it as you and Garrod attach the Gundam-sized snowshoes whipped up by Kid, and head to the specified coordinates. When you arrive, you see a lone Juracg kneeling in the show, its pilot standing out against the stark whiteness of the landscape with her black clothes. You and Garrod touch down, and approach her hesitantly, your expression neutral as you speak."It's been a while, Ennil El."She offers you two a smile, and turns to Garrod."I've heard quite a bit through the grapevine about you, you know. Finesse was what this situation needed. You'd have to sneak into Fort Severn and get Carris out of there, and quickly."Garrod." you say, your fists tightening. "Get back to the Freeden and inform everyone of the situation. I'll be infiltrating Fort Severn with Ennil El's assistance to extract Carris Nautilus, and if possible, disable the Patoulia.""Will you be all right, Boss?"You nod, and watch as the Divider Gundam returns to the Freeden. Hopefully, Jamil will know what to do in the event the Patoulia is activated. It's an all too real possibility, but one you hope does not come to pass.Though you and Ennil had to hide your Mobile Suits outside of the city, getting inside was easy enough. The real issue was getting inside of the building. Fortunately, you had Ennil guiding you from outside, and you found Carris' room easily enough. Thankfully he was there, and seemed to be unharmed."Carris..." you whisper. "Carris, can you hear me?""You... the GX's pilot?" he looks around the room frantically, trying to pinpoint your location."Shh! up here, in the vents."Carris looks up, and his eyes widen upon seeing you."What're you doing here? The guards will kill you if they find you here!" he says in a hushed voice."I'm here to get you out of here." you say. "The man you know as Nomoa Long... He's been lying to you, Carris. He's planning on using you as a battery for the Patoulia!""I know."Wait what? You're struck speechless, unsure of how to formulate a proper response."I spoke to the Mayor about the things I had seen... and what I had learned... I asked him what the true purpose of the Patoulia was... if it was really going to help change the world for the better, and he told me that of course it was... But I knew different. "I'm simply a tool for his vengeance.""But..." you say, chewing on your lower lip. "But if you knew, why are you still here? What's stopping you from just leaving? You don't have to go along with his plans!"(Cont'd.)
"Because..." he begins, his hands trembling. "Because it is the fate I deserve, after realizing all the lives sacrificed to give me these cursed powers were for nothing!"He looks up at you, his eyes pleading."I want to die by your hands... The fake, whose powers were obtained with the blood of the innocent, should deserve to die by the genuine article... Only then can I atone for my sins!"You say nothing as you reposition yourself, and kick the vent cover right off, dropping down in front of him."Don't you give me that fatalistic crap!" you shout, decking him in the face, watching as he is sent flying to the floor."Curses... Sins... that's nothing but a bunch of bullshit!" you spit, grabbing him by the collar."Your powers may have been the result of the deaths of innocents, but it is how you use them that determines if they are a curse. You wanted the power to change the world, and now you have it. Calling it a curse and wishing for death spits on the sacrifice those people made!"Those words seem to hit Carris like a ton of bricks, as he stares at you, stunned."If you want to repent for your sins, then make good on your promise. Change the world. Make it a place where no one, be it Newtype, Oldtype, or anything in between, will ever have to lose their lives in a senseless war!"You shoot the glass a few times, then give it a good kick, causing it to shatter, and the bitter, frozen winds of the north to bite at your face."Now, Carris... come with me if you want to live!"Carris stares at you for a moment, and is hesitant to grasp your outstretched hand, but the moment is cut short as several armed soldiers barge into the room, along with the Professor himself."It is over, Vulture. You cannot stop my vengeance against this world.""David, run!" shouts Carris, who runs past you, and into the Professor, attempting to wrestle the gun in his hands from his grip."Get out of here and go! Don't worry about m--"(Cont'd.)
Carris' sentence is cut off as Dorat knees him in the stomach, causing Carris to double over in pain. Before you can make sure he's alright, the soldiers open fire on you, preventing you from getting any closer. With no other options left, you jump out of the room, landing on the snow covered ground below.Behind you, you can hear the Professor shouting at the soldiers to not let you get away, followed by the sound of bullets hitting concrete behind you. It's not too long before you find Ennil, who pulls you into an alleyway, listening to the sound of klaxons blaring, and spotlights lighting up the night sky. After what seems like hours of navigating through alleyways and avoiding soldiers, you wonder if you're trapped... at least until you spot the Airmaster and Divider flying overhead, shooting at the Anti-Air defense turrets. Taking this opportunity, you and Ennil head for the gates, where you see Jamil driving towards you in a buggy."Get in!" he shouts, motioning for the both of you to hurry. You and Ennil eagerly oblige, and hop in."The operation went south!" you say, shouting over the chaos in the city. "Dorat still has Carris! He's probably activating the Patoulia as we speak!"Jamil curses, then presses down on the gas pedal."Hang on!" he shouts as he drives out into the snowy landscape beyond. As you head back to the Freeden, you feel the ground rumbling beneath you, and an overwhelmingly malevolent presence makes itself known, in both your mind, and to the world as Fort Severn split open, the massive mobile armor rising from the ruins of the city. You pray that Garrod and the others can hold out long enough for you to sortie in the GX Hyper-Spec...Fortunately, you, Jamil, and Ennil make it to the Freeden in what must be record time, and you don't waste a second as you jump into the Gundam and take off.(Cont'd.)
What will you do?>Draw the Patoulia away from the city and shoot it down; there might be survivors!>Get in close and try to get Carris out of that monster of a machine.>Write inThe Moon is out.
>>27269381Oh shit. Oh fuck. Oh shit oh fuck. Oh shit oh fuck oh shit oh fuck oh shitfuck DAAAAAAAAYUM!>Get in close and try to get Carris out of that monster of a machine. After what we said, we're kind of obligated to do so, right?
>>27269381>Get in close and get Carris out!Like hell we're going to let him be used. Tiffa will be sad then!
>>27269381>>Get in close and try to get Carris out of that monster of a machine.
>>27269501End this quick, screw the shithead, we need to first create junk before we can collect it
>>27269381>Get in close and try to get Carris out of that monster of a machine. That jerk isn't getting out of his penance that easily.
You have to get Carris out of there! After what you said to him, you -had- to!"Hang on, Carris! I'll find a way to save you, I promise! You wanted to change the world, right? You wanted to protect everyone, right? ANSWER ME!"Carris must have heard you, because you can hear his voice in your head. It's faint, but you can definitely feel it.>"Help me... Please... I don't want to have to shoulder any more sins than I already am..."You barely have time to react as a bunch of wired beam guns take aim at you. Garrod and the others are unable to help you, likewise preoccupied by the Patoulia's defenses.>Roll 1d20 to dodge. DC is 14.

Rolled 7OP do our enemies and allies have basic charsheets? Or do they roll 1d20 base for errything?
Rolled 15>>27269781I wonder how hard it'd be to cut the wires.
>>27269849They roll a basic 1d20 for everything. I'd like to make character sheets for our allies, but it'd be too much for me to keep track of.
>>27269888You sure? Something like:Roybea: MS Lvl 2Kid: Programming Lvl 2, Mechanics 5Is all you'd need to do. I asked because I noticed Roybea and Witz were sucking despite being pro pilots.
Rolled 7, 15, 17 = 39>Writing and rolling...
True, but I find it easy to just use 3d20, rather than 2d20+2 one post for them, then 1d20 for Garrod. When they all get their final suits, I'll probably start rolling 3d20+2 or something...
>>27270051Can roll normally and mentally add the bonus to the die, too.
>>27270068... That's a fair point.
Rolled 5>Results: You - 16, Roybea - 7, Garrod - 15, Witz - 17>DC: 14>Success: You, Garrod, Witz>Failure: RoybeaYou manage to dodge the barrage of beams, as did Garrod and Witz, but with Roybea being confined to the ground, he had far worse luck, and was blown back by a beam gun that got a lucky shot in."Carris... Where are you? Answer me, Carris!">"I'm in here... please hurry... I can feel... my mind... slipping..."You try to focus on Carris' presence, and your eyes are drawn to the Patoulia's head. So that was where he was... You fly in close, and get ready to (quite literally) bust a head.>Roll me 1d20. DC is this roll.
Rolled 8>>27270219Hang on, blondie, we're coming to save your sorry ass!
Rolled 10>>27270219Try cutting off.
Rolled 18>>27270219C'mon dice.
>Result: 18>DC: 5>Success!You can hear Dorat's voice emanating across the battlefield as you close in on the Patulia's head."I... will not fall here! I will not be defeated... not until I've exacted my revenge against this pitiful world!""Will you just SHUT--"The GX lands on top of the Patoulia's head,"--THE HELL--"You pull out a beam saber..."--UP ALREADY?!"and plunge it into the head. Dorat is instantly vaporized by the beam, and the Patoulia is left with no pilot. With an opening made, You grasp at the hole and stretch it apart, the metal groaning as you put everything you have into it. As soon as the opening is wide enough, you exit the Gundam, and drop down into what was left of the control room. You see Carris in some kind of pod, and you waste no time in forcing it open.Carris is barely conscious as you pull him out, a weary smile on his face."You came..." he breathes out."Yeah, I did."Without Carris, however, the Patulia has nowhere to go but down, and you waste no time in getting back on the GX, with Carris in tow, watching as the massive mobile armor lists off to the side, crashing into a nearby mountain, the resulting avalanche burying it in snow. You sigh in relief. Finally, it was over.Carris, though grateful for all you and the Freeden's crew had done, elected to stay behind, assisting the remaining citizens of Fort Severn in its reconstruction, leading them in their time of need.As for you and the Freeden? After bidding farewell to Ennil El, you all set course for a place to rest and resupply... further south, of course.>This is a good place to end the episode. Hope you all had a good time!
>>27270632>Leaving all that scrap under the snowMy inner Junker screams in agony
I wish we could've salvaged that thing.
>>27270684>>27270687You guys wanted to spend a month in Fort Severn?
>>27270721But there is SO MUCH
>>27270721If it means getting rich, upgrading the shit out of the Freeden and our suits, then yes.
>>27270687Never would have happened. We could have hoped to salvage one of the beam cannons and mount it on the Freeden. Guess it just wasn't meant to be
>>27270721Think of the loot man. The flying mechanisms alone would be worth the digging.
>>27270740>If it means getting richNope. Townspeople literally turned it into a giant apartment building after hollowing it out.>upgrading the shit out of the FreedenThat actually is doable by salvaging the weapons, maybe the flight system.>and our suitstoo large to miniaturize the systems onboard.
Rolled 13>>27270803>Nope. Townspeople literally turned it into a giant apartment building after hollowing it out. That is both hilarious as hell, and kind of awesome. I'd live in the hollowed out remains of a Mobile Armor if I could.
>>27270803Besides grenades and a grappling hook what are our offensive, defensive, mobility options in human form. We might have to fight, stealth, or negotiate our way to the gundam in hostile situations. Right now our best bet is negotiate our way. I wonder if we can upgrade ourselves.
>>27270918Barbells and weights, son.
>>27270944To the weight room!
Rolled 8> 4 x Particle Cannon (Operable only in Attack Mode) >32 x Wired Beam Cannon (Operable only in Attack Mode) >Anti-Beam Field GeneratorWe salvaged at least a little of everything right, OP? ;_;Because we could give the beam cannons to the Freeden, add the anti-beam...
>>27270970If our powerplant can handle them...
>>27270970The Freeden probably only has two Beam Cannons for a reason; it's probably as much as it can handle. I'd imagine the Freeden, and by extension, most Alps-class Land Battleships, focus more on hangar space and shitloads of passenger space. Hell, get rid of the turrets and it'd essentially be a glorified bus!Besides, the Particle Cannons have enough power to ONE SHOT a battleship. I doubt the Freeden has enough juice to power something that beastly. As for the Wired Beam Guns... they probably need a lot of power to run, too. Power the Freeden can't spare.
I would imagine this is what the body of our Divider Gundam looks like?Would have been Ennil El's ride, but...
Rolled 12>>27271073Thats what the new ships' plant is for!!!
>>27271277>two Beam CannonsNo, they are projectile based cannons. And, you're right. The Freeden is actually a converted cargo ship.>>27271362Getting it to fit is a massive bitch.
>>27271316No, it looks similar to the GX, except the head's simpler in design, and the chest resembles a Daughtress' rather than the Gundam X's.
Rolled 3>>27271387Stop being so against fun. We could have stolen at least *something*. Or hell, take the anti-beam generator. That would go for ALOT.
>>27271411Huh. Okay.>>27271417GunDAMN probably needs a break, since the end was a bit abrupt.See you guys on Friday, I guess.
>>27271457Yeah, see you all then. I've got some... things planned for the Sea of Lorelei arc...
