>Unmet expectations edition.>Current World Alignment: +1. Optimistic Shonen.>Current Waifu Level: 0.29>Competing Waifu: Konoko>Konoko's Waifu Level: Annoying Childhood FriendYou are a girl. An attractive girl, with a silly hat, bizarre clothes, and sentience. The sentience part is the only thing out of the ordinary in this world.Though it grates on you, you can not exist separate of the protagonist's narrative- you must earn enough attention to be autonomous. Which involves working your way in to his life, much to you chagrin and irritation. You've managed to get in to the protagonist's house. "Anon-kun Incognito." One of the worse names that you've heard, but his name. You blush and give a shy smile, as he digs in to the food that you and Konoko cooked for him. Konoko is similar to you- a character dependent on the protagonist's attention. She was his childhood friend. She's smiling, playing the part well, but any time you catch her eye, she gives you an icy look back. You have a truce. She's sentient too. She's displeased at your introduction of magic to the narrative. She wanted a slice of life with sports themes.Well too bad for her. You play with the hem of your robe, being bashful. Trying to think of the backstory you'll have to introduce, and how. "So, what's your story anyway?" He talks with his mouth full. Probably thinks it makes him funny, "Why were those guys after you anyway?"His double 'anyway' bugs you something fierce. "Jeez, Anon," Konoko speaks up, trying to steer the conversation, "Can't that wait some time? I'm sure she-""Mrko-chfranf!" Anon burbles through a mouth full of food. You'll lean back from the chewed up splatter that comes from his lips.Konoko rolls her eyes, but is silent. Anon is looking at you with expectation.>Your move.
>It beginsAnybody have the fanart?
So, a thought. At enough waifu points, we can exist independently of the protagonist, right? Why do we need to go further than that? We can put in a good effort, bow out to the rival, and live a life that's some modicum of normalcy.
>>27172257We were going with amnesia, right? So we have to keep it vague. Maybe make references to a dark place that we escaped from, and that the goons were trying to make us go back there.
>>27172317Because more waifu points mean more ability to influence the narrative. And I assume they decay after a while.Basically, memetic parasite needs food badly
>FANART:>I am grateful for everything. Really, I am. I've got too many, so I had to roll for the OP. I hope no one is confused/annoyed. Moving on->Mechanical benefits. >To encourage more more more art, I'm thinking of giving some options for mechanical benefits. Just don't know what yet.>For now, I'll hold off with an eye for rerolls. There's still mechanics being introduced after all.
>>27172304It should be in the archivehttp://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/27100534/>>27172317I'm worried we can lose waifu points from avoiding the MC too much. Story logic is also likely to yank us back in if we try to avoid participating.>>27172257Vague was what people decided on last thread. We don't remember much yet, just that we really did not want to be with the people who were chasing us.Oh, and that we have some degree of magical powers.
If you'd rolled for that one that looks like an LSD stamp, would you have used that for the OP?
>>27172336>>27172373Okey dokey, amnesia.Do you want to bullshit in some kind of magic excuse, or just leave that be?>>27172386God yes.Though, I'll probably stop the roulette as soon as I get the picture from Deculture. The other pictures though, I will cherish and keep forever. And post at random.
So we know OP has done/is doing other quests, and he's not NRVNQSR;CHAOS/ReaDS.Anyone want to make any other guesses? Are you AC-Guy?
>>27172424I'm glad you like LSD stamp waifu. I thought you used my puppet master waifu pic when I saw the size of the OP, but it hadn't loaded in yet.
>>27172424Last thread I suggested them having given us drugs that screw with recall to explain us slowly regaining our memories. It means we can 'reveal' new information later, and change the narrative that way, rather than being locked in.
>>27172257Let's going in the direction of vague Saber clone or something, that's what's popular these days."Sorry, I don't remember much, or just about nothing at all. I remember being trapped in a dream, being consumed in total flame. But it didn't hurt, because there was this sword protecting me.""Next thing I know, I was escaping some sort of scientific facility. This is when my memory starts getting really spotty, but I know I was escaping from something. The last thing I remember before passing out was a cross, because it really seems out of place. When I fell down at last I heard a clang, and I saw the same sword in the dream beside me"
>>27172424Magic experimentation. Maybe hint at trauma somewhere in there.Protagonists are suckers for chicks with dark and mysterious pasts.
>>27172430Impossibru, he hasn't disappeared mid-thread due to some kind of fire or explosion. If a QM gets through an entire thread without a horrible disaster causing an overnight delay, he isn't AC-Guy. Thats a scientific fact.
>>27172496>>27172479experimental magic drugs anyone?
>>27172496Yeah, we probably have massive latent magical potential locked away, so we can grow in power with the protagonist.
>>27172513Maybe he's taken a totally different name and trip to see if he can avoid that fate?
>>27172515Works for me!>>27172516Ah, metagaming at its finest.
>>27172515Unlock our magical powers with SCIENCE!So we'll be like Index, just not retarded.Doesn't anyone what to have strange dreams?
>>27172531This whole quest is meta as fuck.
>>27172424We were so good at beach volleyball that we were recruited into 'The Program'.Don't describe The Program. Leave it ominous. This should buy us points with our competition, get them off our back without really giving up anything.
>>27172531>Ah, metagaming at its finest.Good. Metagaming is encouraged in metafiction.
>>27172531Well dude, we're supposed to metagame. We have quite a lot of influence in the structure and flow of the plot.So what kind of magic do we want first, Wind-Bending?
>>27172544>>27172553>>27172557It was a compliment ;_;
We should probably archive this before the Misarchivist hits it.
>>27172570Came off as cookie cutter standard smug /tg/ fart huffer.
>>27172544>>27172553Also, we should plan which kind of magical girlfriend we want to be, like a pure staff chick like Index or a mixed type like Saber?
>>27172592I vote to be like Index.I want to bite Anon's head and there won't be anything he can do about it!
"I...Oh..." You look around, "I'm sorry, it's just- I've never been outside of the lab before."Anon-kun swallows his food, and then leans in, intrigued, "A lab? You were in a lab?""Yes, I," You bring a hand up to your head, close your eyes and shake your head, and whisper, "I'm, I'm so sorry, but- I can't remember much. Just- knives. Needles. I-I-I'm sorry," You shake your head, apologetic, "I only get flashes.""Really?" Anon seems disappointed, "Crap. That's no good. So- how does your magic work?"Konoko laughs, "Haha, what are you talking about? There's no such thing as magic! Really, shouldn't we be talking about the sports meet tomorrow?" "She said she was magic!" "Well," You do your best to ignore Konoko's muffled growls, "I-I do know some things."Anon slams his hands down on the table, and leans in, suddenly very interested, "It's about ki, right? I got ki! I got loads of ki!" Anon stands up suddenly, very agitated, "Yeah, yeah, some kind of conspiracy..."Well, you haven't told him anything, but now he's standing up, pacing around. Konoko laughs slightly, raising a bowl in front of her face to eat and whispering out of the side of her mouth, "This is your backstory, really?" Her voice hits a nasally falsetto, "Nehhh, I'm so vulnerable, oohhhh, don't imagine me strapped to a table naked onii-chan, nehhh," She lowers the bowl, as Anon stops mumbling about contrails and comes back to the table, pointing at you."Wait! You recognized those guys in the black suits, right? We should go grab them!""You mean the fight in broad daylight which was hours ago?" Konoko for a moment drops her pleasant facade, before remembering herself, "Oh, but, I mean, but Anon-kun! The sports meet!" "Screw that! Miko-chan, come on," Anon's going to grab his coat, "Let's see if we can find your lab!"You haven't thought of a lab. This is getting dangerous.>Your move.
>>27172607Ok, I meant Index as in power wise, not retardation.
>>27172451I save all the fanart.ALL OF IT.
>>27172592Index.Saber had to like, work, and stuff. We don't want to be forced to run around swordfighting people on this asshole's behalf. Let big strong manly Anon-kun do the hard physical stuff, protags love their manly power fantasies after all.
>>27172619This is going to cost us so many waifu points to sustain. See if we can force a non profitable arc for Konoko, so she's forced to spend the points to create situations we can gain points in.We're a surprise sports prodigy!"But anon-kun, I've never been to a sports meet!"
>>27172619"Sorry, I'm new to the outside world, so I wouldn't know where it is from the outside"
>>27172355Wait.Thats decu art.
>>27172672Sports-based super powers. Power-walking.
>>27172619Go full PTSD. Go on about how we can't go back there, it's too horrible.
>>27172592I vote for pure staff chick role>>27172619We escaped while they were trying to transport us between labs. We don't remember ever getting to see the outside, so we have no idea where any were. S-sorry.>>27172672This risks letting us get marginalised.
>>27172619We are an escapee from a lab. We are obviously traumatized, and do NOT want to go back there.Lets go with the sports meet idea. We've never seen one, hell we've never been a 'normal girl' and this sounds like a good chance to get to see what that's like. Of course, we are being pursued by men with black suits and vans with tinted windows. We'll have to back to the lab eventually, to end what goes on in there. But's going now would fuck up our arc.
>>27172672The risk of that is that she might get a lot more points then she spends of we allow her to do that.Or if we let that happen, then we can gain a long term ally? Hmm...
>>27172592Eat mooks for breakfast, open mid-tier enemies like cans of tuna. Be outclassed by major antagonists to show how strong they are and how strong the protagonist must be/become to beat them.
>>27172688>>27172699Great minds think alikeI third the never seeing the outside world thing
>>27172619"No! You can't send me back there! I can't believe someone like you works for those sadists."
>>27172672>We're a surprise sports prodigy!Lets NOT try to go full Sue. That's boring and predictable. We don't want to be boring.
>>27172699We can float on our waifu points indefinitely. There's be plenty of opportunities to build points off of her expenditures. She'll gain some points as well, sure, but I doubt it will be too many. And we can always spend points to sabotage her.Besides, it'll be fun to dick her over.
>>27172727Just one particular task. We're really good at running, but can't catch a ball at all, for example. The more idiosyncratic, the more it'll stand out.
>>27172688>>27172699>>27172716Similar minds reach for the same cliches, more like.I think adding in a dash of >>27172695 would greatly improve it.>>27172730We have to get the MC to hold off on going out to look for the lab we came from first.
>>27172727Do want to make ourselves surprisingly good at fencing? Could be an interesting plot point to entice the protag.
>>27172619Okay, *maybe* we can still bring this back to a sports theme. Maybe. Some kind of tournament for superhumans, with us being one of maybe a half dozen experimental subjects. But we should object to going to find this lab. Even though we can bend the narrative and possibly spawn a lab, with how these things go Anon with discover something vaguely ominous and then distance himself, AND it could reduce world alignment. We don't want that.So object on the basis of A) Not wanting Anon hurt, and B) Being too scared to go back. And then inquire about this sports meet. Have a flashback about sports, and then tag along with them. Once there, find some way to join in and 'discover' that we have an uncanny knack for it. Explain this to Konono on the way, and imply that if she reveals 'previously hidden potential' in a 'friendly match between rivals' then it would match our narratives up and nudge the story as a whole back in her direction. It's not perfect, but if things go well, it's a great compromise.Anything I am missing?
>>27172727I'm also against being a sports prodigy, but for completely different reasons. It's expensive, it'll take up valuable Waifu Points, and put us in direct competition with Kanoko which is a breach of our truce. She will turn this into grimdark and edgy School Days and Nice Boat us if we break our truce.Your reasons are bland and unappealing.
>>27172672>>27172770Yes. Go with this.Clue Konono into the plan, hopefully getting her to trust us a little. We can let her win the match by a hair's breadth.
>>27172798No>>27172776Bitch will kill us and feed our guts to anon kun
You guys know what'd be horrible? If he had a twin. And he'd be a protag as well.
>>27172619It's getting late, isn't it? We can use that as an excuse to delay going to the lab.
>>27172798Nah, let her win by a not-insignificant margin, but only after drawing on inner reserves of power. But being uncannily good at something is a good idea. Not good enough to beat an established character, but good enough that we can later draw on our own hidden reserves of power to do, uh, something, and it can be legit.
>>27172727>>27172770>>27172776I agree with you guys. Be horrible for most sports, but surprisingly good at one thing or two, like fencing or martial arts. Maybe unlock a mana burst ability? And more memories.
>>27172824martial arts is blandfencing gives us a weapon But stillBITCH'LL KILL US
>>27172843>>27172824Let's see what kind of meet it is, and then we can pick a specific thing to excel at that is useful in other situations, but doesn't outright compete with the other girl.
How about, instead of magic, it's psionics? Not much of a difference.
>>27172815NO>>27172823>>27172824I'd rather save our waifu points and world manipulation for stuff more related to our storyline.Besides, we were cooped up in a lab - we probably have really weak muscles from lack of exercise.
He chose my im->rolled for it...still okay with this!
>>27172770Konoko told us to stay away from becoming the athletic waifi, however, we can use the idea of being a power-up source instead.
>>27172853We already said magic.
>>27172843We clue her in and iron out the details. This move will shift the story back towards what she wanted, and if we let her win then she should be happy with it.
>>27172853makes sense in lab rat thingunless this is eldritch shit fuckery
>>27172853Actually, going towards psionics and we just call it magic because that's what we're used to, might be more palatable to Kanoko. It'll move the setting from Urban Magic to Near-Future Sci-Fi.
>>27172866Good idea! Our kisses heal / buff!"Good luck, Anon!" *kissy on the cheek* *blush lightly*
Okay, going PTSD to say no going back. Writing.
How about we break cliches a bit and be not that great at athletics but enjoy it nonetheless? Give us a bit more depth of character than your average waifu?Or does that go against the meta-archetype we're going for?
>>27172912Actually that sounds like a good idea. Our effort will make us cute and moe.>>27172860I would think the exercise would make us unlock our mana burst ability.
>>27172912I'm fine with enjoying athletics, but being good at them should be right out.It competes with Konoko and it means we need to make disadvantages in other areas or risk looking like a mary sue. If we're going support/healing, lack of physical prowess isn't a particularly crippling weakness.
>>27172912So utterly fucking terrible at sports, but in a cute endearing fuckup kinda way? Like, we want to get over our dark past of labrat-ness, so Anon is helping us train to move towards a brighter tomorrow!
>>27172853We go down that route and it won't be much longer before we start straight-up bleeding over into the Raildex setting. I mean shit, we're already an escaped "magical" lab rat.Not that I'd be adverse to that mind you.
>>27172904I had a different idea for buffs. This may be a terrible idea but I'm throwing it out there, white and golden holy guitar. Bard/Cleric, area buffs and debuffs through rocking out really hard.
>>27172949Goes against our image.
>>27172945Well raildex would be fun.And there is nothing wrong with magic, psionics, and SCIENCE being the same thing, it happens as well sometimes.
>>27172945We should go full clone.
>>27172949Our kisses/affection can already heal. Extending that to buffing sounds like a reasonable next step.As >>27172960 said, we're not really the rock music type of girl.
>>27172965God I love that, but a bit early for that now.Not a bad idea for the future though.Say, I'm wondering, if we become independent, does it mean we become popular enough to become a protag in our own spinoff like Railgun?
>>27172965So, a lab full of hundreds of waifu clones because reasons? And Anon has to save them from [DARKNESS] ?I can dig it.
>>27172982It's not that our kisses heal. They just give a power-up from transferring our energy. That's the initial ability we agreed on.So if we try to steer the narrative back to being a sports story with some supernatural elements mixed in, that kind of ability would help to make us pretty important.
>>27172945Raildex while shackled to a non-esper, non-mage, non-Touma male protag?Suicide/10. FUND IT
>>27172960>>27172982Agree with these 2, not quite our type.Maybe a singing support power later?
>>27173017Anon is like Gunha-lite from what we've seen so far. We'd be fine. probably
>>27173007We are now a cheerleader character, with our cheer and kisses literally empowering our protag!
So hey, when Konoko became unconscious after getting mindcontrolled by the villain we brought in, Anon-kun mentioned something about her always teasing him for not being as strong as her. I'm guessing with the changes we've made to the story, she now has to get ki as well?
>>27172982Actually, extending on this a bit more, would our (verbal) support be a viable method of transferring less major buffs?>Don't give up Anon-kun!>Great hit, keep it up!>>27173019Singing fits us much better
Rolled 10>>27173044>mfw Fucking autocorrect.
>>27173050>>27173042Cheerleader miko who is not actively bad at the baton?
>>27173017I'm sure we can increase out protag's power level as plot demands if we go pure staff-chick route. Buffing and healing (white magic) is our speciality!
>>27173073"Why is the test subject wasting her power in cheerleading?""I dunno, the plot is retarded"FUND IT!
>>27173073>>27173111Also, some guys dig cheerleaders. Maybe MC is one of them.
>>27173073Doesn't compete with Konoko. In fact, it can fit in well with the story she wanted. Fits in well with our specialty. Is cute.I'm not seeing any downsides.
Magical lab? Clearly it should be in the last place they'd ever expect: beneath the school! Fathoms deep in the earth, magma-powered, and delving into things Man Was Not Meant To Know. Also pumping out magical schoolgirls for some reason, mad scientist-magicians being sexist that way.
>>27173111I just pictured some stereotypical scientists saying thatthe first one is a twig fellow with a hitler stachethe second is a ogre of a man with a beard
>>27173149We'd have to come up with an excuse for why we don't know where the lab is.
>>27172864This .gif is hilarious if you image her sitting on a vibrator and that her phone has the controls as an app.
>>27172960>>27172982>>27173019I liked it precisely because of the contrast, but if it's a no go, it's a no go.>>27173050>>27173073Super-encouragement is good too.
>>27173083>>27173050We don't want to become too co-dependant on the protagonist, I think. Our goal is autonomy, which means we can exist outside of his POV. If we build our entire character up to support the protag and other active secondary characters, we could end up too passive and stuck being the buff-battery.Maybe we should have some kind of trauma-induced superpowered evil side so we can kick ass and take names when we are pushed. It also gives us internal conflict (Making a better and more interesting character) and broader room for character growth.
>>27173176That's about as good an idea as Anon-kun's monochromatic eyes. Let's not go full edgy. We're not Anon-kun.Let's just try to evolve our powers into something more useful than buffs while remaining consistent and logical in terms of our character.
>>27173176We have been planning on grabbing the support of other waifu characters (since we're /tg/, and god damn it we need waifus too), so we can buff them in fights.
We are now magical cheerleader quest, pic related.>>27173176A mostly agree, but we still have a long way to go. Maybe this can be our character development arc?
>>27173156What about these dudes?
>>27173223Careful, that screams "antagonist" and they NEVER successfully separate themselves from the protagonist, only look silly and die out at the end of the season! It is a very careful balance we must strike.
>>27173206Just throwing out ideas. In the meta-context, we need to avoid "damsel"ing, and be competent inside our own fields, but be competent in ALL fields, because then we'll Sue and also Konoko will NICE BOAT a bitch. To be a more appealing character, we should be dark, slightly mysterious (already accomplished) and a little bit badass, but not in such a way that we stamp on Konoko's established character, or overshadow the protagonist in such a way. Alternatively, we could full Worf, and be really awesome at like, fighting stuff, only to be easily tossed aside by new threats to show how credible they are. So long as the world-outlook remains relatively light, we're unlikely to die.
>>27173279Yeahthey'd work as well
>>27173281Basically our goal in the latter case would be to become Kuwabara with tits. Useful enough to have a fanbase, but not so much that we'd get heroic sacrificed?
>>27173281It's not like I disagreed with you on these points, but I'm just saying that what you suggested? It wasn't really that tasteful.
>>27173281>we could full WorfActually, Kanoko seems to have ended up as the target of the Worf Effect; she's supposedly stronger than the protag but got her ass kicked by the Antagonist we brought into the Narrative to show how powerful he is.
>>27173281The idea of a super powerup is sound, just the implementation you suggested is terrible and doesn't fit us.We're still shackled to the MC for the forseeable future, so I think developing our supporting abilities is the way to go for the moment. We can always burn some points later to go super-saiyan and unlock something that'll let us fight solo.
>>27173281This will work out better in later arcs. Right now we need to establish our character so it will be a big surprise later. We're not trying to go full Urobutcher here.
>>27173374>We're not trying to go full Urobutcher here.More correctly, I'd say we're trying not to go full Urobutcher.Actively avoiding it if you will.
>>27173321>>27173281I'm against us becoming the worf.If we ever wish to separate from Anon-kun and become a protag in our own right, we need to be competent. Basically, let's try to mimic Mikasa from Index. That is to say, not a full-on damsel in distress who can take care of herself. Which is, you know. What we've all been agreeing to since last thread.
>>27173321I guess. You want to be cool enough to be liked, and strong enough to drive generic goons before you and hear the lamentations of their goon-women, and probably hand most supporting characters their butts in a fight, but when the borg beams into the bridge we're first judo-thrown over the railing to show how cool and strong the new enemies are. It's dangerous if the setting becomes dark though, because then we're likely to be a Sacrificial Lamb for a villain to reveal how impressive and dangerous they are, and give the protagonist and audience drive to oppose the villain.Which is probably why we shouldn't outclass or overshadow the protagonist directly, or he'll use his own meta powers to get us murdered.
>>27173280We won't steal anyone who interests Anon-kun, of course. Just develop relationships with the offcasts and build up our own group.
>>27173410I say let's focus on buffing now, so when we self-buff we'll be really strong, or unlock really powerful magic. Or have a really strong limit-breaker.
>>27173336Ah, I didn't think of that in this context. We should probably not aim for that then, since we've already caused one Worf as a paradigm shift from Sports/Slice of Life to mysterious Urban slightly-Fantasy. A further paradigm shift would probably be like, a full blown Speculative Fiction story. Aliens and Demons will pour out of the woodwork.
>>27172619Is OP dead, or just really slow?
>>27173587He's writing. It hasn't even been that long.
>>27173608It's been an hour exactly.
>>27173608It's been an hour, but I guess I need to get used to it.
>>27173622It's been half an hour since he said he's start writing.
>>27173587I think he's just stunned at what we've decided to do. Miko cheerleader white mage was probably not what he had planned.
>>27173688Well, 2/3rds of an hour now.>>27173692He's not writing about that. He's just writing our response to deflecting the lab issue.
>>27173692Yeah, we're awesome. /tg/ gets shit done.
>>27173727Was that ironic or...?
>>27173692He should have read Rules 1, 3, and 7 more carefully.
>>27173788I meant that unironically. Give us a hint of a sports event, and we create a magical cheerleader!>>27173792What rules are those?
"I- no! No! That, that's..." You shake your head, trying to work out something that you could say to deter him, but then settle for the old waterworks. You stare down, sniffling, shaking your head, blubbering, tears roll down your nose.God you hate this. "Hey, hey," You feel hands on your shoulders. You feel a moment of hope- but no. It's Anon. Who asked for you? You look up as he tries his best to look sympathetic, "I'm sorry, it's okay Miko-chan. Don't worry about it," He tries to bring you in to a full hug, but you having a shred of dignity wriggle out of his hands to stand over the other end of the room."Thank you- I'm sorry Anon. It's just, I would have no idea where it would be. I can't remember much- and anything I remember. I-I-It scares me!" You turn, as Anon nods. Konoko behind him pantomimes vomiting out of your view. Yeah, screw you too lady. Anon nods, looking sympathetic. "I see. You've had a lot of trouble, haven't you?""See Anon, you don't know girls," Konoko stands up behind Anon, smiling, "Just, give her some time, huh? She'll explain it all eventually.""Yeah, yeah," Anon rubs his nose, and shrugs, "I guess I was being a little insensitive. I'm sorry Miko-chan, can you forgive me?" "Well," You sniff, looking away, fighting the bile in your throat, "You did save my life, right? How could I be mad at you?">Waifu points gained, +0.03. Total waifu points now 0.32. "Cool. Miko-chan, would you mind coming to school with me tomorrow?"Both you and Konoko stare at Anon-kun in confusion."What? We've known her like-""Nah nah," Anon waves his hand, "It's cool. She doesn't know things, so we have to take her to school, right?""Don't I need to be registered and-" You try to stop this latest plot twist- fuck, you can't be thrown in this quickly to something, you have to plan!"Nah. Don't worry about it, I have a spare uniform-" Anon-kun suddenly takes on a serious look, "I used to have a little sister. I kept her school uniform."
Gee, that sure isn't a creepy plot point. Thankfully, your look of horror isn't noticed, because Konoko speaks up in agitation."For this school?" Konoko asks."Yes.""In Japan.""Yes.""But you're an American exchange student?""She attended here.""But that doesn't make any-"A chill sweeps through the air. Anon turns, and stares at Konoko with a very, very cold look."I'm sorry Konoko, are you questioning my dead sister?"Konoko shrinks back, waving her hands, "Hahahah! No, no, of course not, why would I- I, I remember her! Really quite cute, hahaha, yeah, super cute! Gee, and just in Miko's size for some bizarre reason!" Though flimsy as Hell, the atmosphere suddenly releases, as Anon relaxes."Ah, yeah, you're right! Good work, Konoko! You go help her get changed, I'm going to go practice my jump kicks in the yard," He walks past, shouting, "Not that I'm overly interested but I hope I see Miko-chan in the school girl uniform when I get back!" You stare at him as he walks off. The moment the door shuts, Konoko makes a long, frustrated noise bent over, "RRrrrgghhh, he said he was an only child earlier! God, does he not care about the narrative, AT ALL?""Soooo, Konoko, you going to be helping me in to the school girl unif-" Your subtle flirtations are only met with a stern glare from Konoko."No! No, no, just...Egh," Konoko massages the bridge of her nose, "This is bullshit. This is ludicrous. Just- down the hall, third door on your right. I've got a sports meet training montage to run through," Konoko considers the kitchen, "After I clean up. Agh."You consider matters. Well, he is the protagonist. He can alter the narrative. But, there's a chance of things falling apart if he does it too much. You groan, staring up. Fuck, you have to go in a school again. Guess you couldn't be dressed like this forever. >Your move.>Sorry about delay. Phone call.

So do we get to be a clone of his dead sister? Is he into that?
>>27173855If we're not careful, Anon-kun might force us to become the reincarnation of his little sister....

>>27173888Not necessarily. >>27173871>MC and Konoko's reaction when dealing with Anon
>>27173871I guess go check out that uniform. Also, scream internally.
>>27174017Completely and utterly certain. Nobody would ever do a thing like that, and even if they did, they'd have the decency to not post pictures of it on a blue board. They just banned it for the uncanny resemblance, not the actual act.
>>27174050Exactly. Nobody would really do something like that on the internet.Nobody.
>>27173871"Let me stay and help you clean up.""Say Konoko, it's a bit early to get to back to the lab and I need to conserve power, and I know you probably invested a lot into the sports meet. Let me support your sports meet. You probably need the points and I promise to let you be the focus of that and not directly compete against you."
>>27173871Help Konoko clean up and share with her our plan. If she's not opposed to a little magic/sci-fi in the setting, we can still try to bring back the sports theme.
>>27174042I though MC was another phrase we used for Anon>>27174050>4chan>decency>>27174063Seconding this. It'll let us introduce ourselves at school before Anon-kun botches it for us, and can lead into our cheerleading.
>>27174063Let's not mention the "you probably need the points" thing.Let's just not mention how our actions are meant to help her get points. That would make us look like we're sucking up.It'd be preferable if we looked like we were just being nice to her.
Hey now, if we can become his resurrected little sister from the power of UNETHICAL SCIENCE/MAGIC we can maybe get a spinoff!
>>27174164But, that would require we be related in some small , weirdway to this douchecanoe. Not worth it.
>>27174164I don't want to be related to that creep. Not even if it gets us autonomy.
>>27174124Agreeing with this.
>>27174124Okay, emphasize that we should stick together and become allies. Sorry about earlier. Also, do you think a little yuri can titillate the MC or work in our favor? The prospect of a harem could easily motive the MC, and let us all win.
I'm all for the jumping on the sports meet idea. Konoko needs some time to shine before she grimdarks us.
>>27174220That pretty much has the same problem. You don't tell your friends that you'll help them so that they'll like you better. You just do, without mentioning it at all. Also, we have already established that Anon-kun is a total pervert. When we attempted to kiss Konoko last time, both of us had our waifu points raised.
>>27174240Also, we have to watch out for the MC, he can also grimdark the universe as well. The sports meet can be the perfect distraction while we build up points,
>>27174124Why just look it? We could be cynical and metagamey but also usually genuinely kind as one of our character traits.
>>27174220>Also, do you think a little yuri can titillate the MC or work in our favorProbably, just need to keep it sparing>The prospect of a harem could easily motive the MC, and let us all win.I don't think we want a harem end, unless it's our harem.
>>27174292Wouldnt the ideal end be to get enough points for autonomy and then get put on a bus?
>>27174292>I don't think we want a harem endNo, but titillating Anonkun with one keeps him interested in Konoko as well as us, which is beneficial to our truce.
>>27174271I wasn't trying to say that our true self would be a complete bitch. Just that, by appearances, we should be going for nice, not suck-up. Because you can still be genuinely good while looking like an asslicker.
>>27174265Konoko isn't interested in the yuri, through. Forcing it too much might causes her to hate us, and end up grimdarking the world anyway.Maybe even turns the world into those heavy, gender-roles/romance deconstruction setting.
"You sure- I could help clean? Or something?""No, no," Konoko starts collecting the dishes, "It's okay. Might make good fodder for a later 'put upon childhood friend' moment."You glance back to the hall, before stepping forward, "We got off on the wrong foot.""That's for sure," Konoko says, gathering the dishes."Maybe we could work together?"Konoko halts part way through her collection, and sighs, "Later. Tonight. Though," She looks around, "We might have to leave the house. Don't know who's listening. Plans later. For now, you go get changed and have anon accidentally barge in on you.""Oh shit, he's totally going to do that, huh?" You put on a face, "Great, voyeurism with a side of creepy little sister complex.""I swear he didn't have a little sister," Mumbles Konoko, "Would have freaking remembered that.""He probably made it up," You glance back down the hall, "Third door on the right?""Yes. And I'll meet you later tonight.""Yeah, yeah," You wave her off, then walk down the hall. You contemplate. Well, you were created to be a waifu- you ran in to him in a waifu-y kind of way. But, maybe you didn't have to be a waifu. But how? You'll have to ponder that later. The quickest path to preventing your fade in to oblivion though, was to draw this asshole's attention. A quick glance out the window showed Anon exercising. Why is he ALWAYS going shirtless? Eck.Sure enough, third door on the right- a room for a child. Dolls all over the damn place, ribbons and pink covering the walls and furniture- and yes, the school uniform was on the bed. One of those sailor uniforms with a short skirt. ...Maybe you could burn it really quickly. 'Oh no Anon, I can't find it! I guess I won't cavort in a little girl's uniform for your tittilation!'. You shut the door behind you- as soon as you do, you hear Anon shouting to himself, "OH MAN, I AM THIRSTY. I WONDER WHERE I LEFT MY WATER?"Yep. Konoko was right.>Your move.
>>27174292A Harem End would result in no autonomy, and all members locked in a constant struggle for attention, and therefore, sentience. It's an End for when all else fails and everyone is desperate to survive.
>>27174265I'm trying to establish a peace offering/olive branch because supporting the sports meet without telling her will look like we have ulterior motives (which we do). Also, if we coordinate against the MC we can make the sports meet definitely happen.
>>27174342Prepare panty shotin 321
>>27174342Go along with Anon's Narrative for now; the less he changes around, the less stress he puts on it and threatens our continued existence.
>>27174342Act stereotypically, with extra Moe. Milk it. start to tear up a little bit, but not enough to kill the mood.
>>27174324I like the idea of deposing Anon.>>27174344Yes, not good at all.>>27174342Let's bite the bullet and start changing. Get ready for a high powered slap in retaliation when he comes in. If he's gonna perv, we're at least going to have the satisfaction of smashing up his face.
>>27174342Come on, time to work.Maybe instead of full nudity, we can time it to him seeing us slip off our shirt from behind.Which reminds me, does our shirt open up from the front? If it doesn't, we'll have to pull it up over our heads. But if it does, we can lower it to expose our bare shoulders. Which should be titillating enough. The more we tease him instead of completely catering to his desires, the more he'll want us (though we shouldn't overdue it with JUST teasing, I guess).
>>27174405If we hit him, be sure to apologize later. Just to make it seem like an "accident".
>>27174342Top off, back to the door. Possibly be dropping current bottoms, or putting on the uniform skirt.Bright red face, run away to whereever anime girls run away to where their love interest sees them naked accidentally.
I, for one, am waiting for the moment when we can burn Waifu points to pick up a minigun, and start wrecking everything. ...Hmm. We're tilting things towards shounen, right? What if we try to become The Rival?
>>27174386Dont forget the EHHHHHHHHH as you turn around all embarrassed like whilst hiding the goods.
I think we should take care not to become too vulnerable. Last thread, Twen said that if we're, Anon can forces us into events. That said, we should quickly wear the uniform and gives it a little twirl, while smiling happily, like we're really glad we get to try something normal. It's cute as fuck. It is! ;_; don't look at me like that
>>27174342We could totally make this zanier and enjoy ourselves by making comically violent reactions normal. Konoko would probably like the chance to punch him into a distant star, too.
>>27174342Best change clothes quickly- we want him to see more than he has so far, but not that much. I think the classic "shirt clutched in front of us to conceal our bare breasts" pose is in order here. Side order of flustered shockedness with a truly spectacular blush at his entry.Do not hit him or otherwise react in other than an embarrassed, passive sort of way- that's what the active tsundere girl does, and we are the abused moe girl.
>>27174342>>27174386 with a side order of the typical stunned silence - face goes red - throw something painful-but-non-life-threatening at him while letting out a girly shriek scene.
>>27174406Supporting this combined with this >>27174405
>>27174405When he comes in, squeak, 'EEHHHH' and slap him. Then later we can apologize- he'd just surprised us, after all.
>>27174406This, series just started, he just met us, we need to keep him wanting more for now.
>>27174324>>27174405I think it's more important to figure out the laws of this universe and try to escape, or make the best for ourselves. Who knows how expensive autonomy might be?
>>27174446If we can manage to be fully dressed before he barges in this is probably the best plan.
>>27174435>Dont forget the EHHHHHHHHHNo, it's KYAAAAAA! when we're dealing with panty shots or nudity.
>>27174446This anon has already succumbed to the mind-numbing effects of devoting yourself too much to your waifu persona.
>>27174477Point. I'll second the KYAAAAAA!
>>27174342Ah! If he sees us naked, make sure that we have scars! We mentioned knives and needles, so we need to have marks from them on us, in some kind of "obviously these were painful but now they're subtle and only make her sexier" kind of way. Do not forget. Depending upon how paranoid Anon is, forgetting could be a gamebreaker.
>>27174418>>27174463>accidentNo, it should be entirely on purpose. We've shown we're shy and avoid conflict, now we need to show we're not a doormat. Blame our reaction on trauma from the lab and we might get some waifu points out of it, but no pretending we didn't mean to hit him. That implies we're fine with him walking in on us naked, and really does not fit our persona.
>>27174449This.This man knows what's up.A big "Eh? EEEEH?" Sort of stuttering confusion before a poorly aimed "PANCHI!"
>>27174446This is a good point. Put it on fast, don't let him see anything more than we can prevent.>>27174463Funnily enough, while I ordinarily hate it in a series, violence between the waifu and the protagonist is actually something I would accept and even endorse here. Mostly because this is completely taking apart the cliches and tropes of waifuing. And one part just dislike of Anon-kun. Seriously, screw this.
>>27174477KYAAAAAH is for covering up a panty shot after falling down or doing something that's completely our fault, like bumping into him and falling down at the perfect angle to flash the ol panties. Getting caught mid-change is an EEEEEEEH
>>27174482shall I get ol' painless and take him out back to end is sufferin pah?
>>27174490>Wanna know how I got these scars?>>27174446>>27174476>>27174509Hm. You could attempt a roll to change as soon as possible before Anon arrives.Though, that may disappoint the dear protagonist.I'll give it another five minutes. If you're up for it, 3 rolls of 1d100.
>>27174502>>27174449That kind of tonal change should be discussed with Kanoko. It shows that we want to work with her and respect her wishes, helping to solidify our truce into a full alliance.
>>27174342Dude's mad with power, which he unfortunately has all of at the moment. Best put the damn thing on for the creepy, idiotic, unimaginative perv. But NO TOUCHING, especially none of that "Oh no, I seem to have groped you in a totally accidental way" touching.
>>27174511No, IYAAAAA! would be better. EEEEEEH! is more an indication of surprise at circumstances, not reaction to embarrassment.
>>27174499Hmm. I approve. I mean, I'm the guy who wants to eventually turn the narrative into a flaming trainwreck of chaos and freedom, but for now? That does seem like a good strategy. Not in the least of which because Twen has gone and implied here >>27174527 that trying to break narrative without good reason, without a plan, and without a lot of firepower to back it up is a bad idea.
>>27174527I'd much rather go with this>>27174406idea. Give him a little peek. Not that much, but enough to get him interested.
Rolled 38>>27174527Can we do, like, mostly dressed but still buttoning up the shirt? That way, it's not QUITEas embarrassingly cliche, but he still gets a little fanservice.

>>27174527This seems like the best option. Save the violence for if we fail it.>>27174449Comedic violence will make it harder to get rid of him later, if we go that route. Same with any troublesome waifus. I vote against it.
>>27174582>extending an olive branch to Konoko just to slap her in the cooch with itYeah, nah, lets not be a cunt.
Rolled 49>>27174585that sounds like a better idea. A good compromise. Make it a tease and cute and innocent at the same time.
>>27174585Yeah. Okay, light teasing, but nothing full fledged.Barring any major objections, that is a go. Writing.
>>27174609get rid of him permanently*
>>27174617Hey, /she/ doesn't mind being a damsel, and being protected is +4 plot relevance.
>>27174640It drives us even farther away from the story she wanted, which she's already expressed concern over.
>>27174622Just a contingency plan.
Guys.Have we planned for what to do if Anon is also Aware like we are?He added in a little sister just when it was convenient, and he subtly threatened Kanoko when she tried to go against it. I think he knows that we need him, and that we're disposable to him because another Waifu will take our place.
>>27174661...I rest my case.
>>27174626I do like the "giggle and twirl while looking in the mirror" bit, though.Possibly if he comes in after we're dressed, we can act totally oblivious to his peep attempt and try for the heartfelt thanks at accepting us into his home, or otherwise try to build apparent emotional closeness to make him feel like he's making progress with us. If he feels like he's making progress, that maintains focus and will probably get us points.
>>27174640We talk things over with her.Get her to trust us. Don't act like we know better than her; treat her as an equal.
>>27174666How many of you guys still think Anon-kun isn't sentient? I thought it was pretty obvious that he was since last thread!
>>27174667She can retaliate by making the story darker and turning this into School Days. She's been with Anon longer than us, so has had time to build up more Waifu Points. She is more valuable as an ally than as an enemy, especially since there are other Waifu's about that will try to bump us off; we all know that to lose relevance is to essentially die.
>>27174666I'm not sure he has that kind of control. He doesn't seem to be aware of the 'be waifu for sentience' thing at all, he is just trying to force the plot for his own personal gain. He might not even realise that we aren't NPCs
>>27174666No, he is the protagonist, and he's definitely Aware. However, he's apparently playing a little fast and loose with the narrative, which is going to cause some potential Existential Risks and possibly bring everything crashing down and arranging us all a meeting with the Writer.
>>27174666I'm 95% sure he's sentient. What's important is if he knows we are, and I think he doesn't yet.>he subtly threatened Kanoko when she tried to go against it. I think he's just that much of a self-centred dick.We pretend we have no idea, for now. Even if he does know we need him he'll accept more free action from us if he thinks we don't know he knows we need him.
>>27174666>Have we planned for what to do if Anon is also Aware like we are? It's VERY heavily implied.>He added in a little sister just when it was convenient, and he subtly threatened Kanoko when she tried to go against it.Yup.>I think he knows that we need him, and that we're disposable to him because another Waifu will take our place.I just hope he doesn't think us sentient.>>27174685Alright.Let's ask her to braid our hair later later on once we're on better footing. "In public", i.e in front of Anon-kun.>>27174700>She is more valuable as an ally than as an enemy,Yea, but my (probably dead wrong) assumption was that she wouldn't mind too much getting the spotlight via our actions since the damage is already done so... ya.
>>27174666Then I suggest we turn up the Yuri and Harem to distract him and make him waste time pleasing everyone while one of us goes Kohaku and poisons him so he becomes bedridden and ineffective.
>>27174748I'd like to go full-Arcueid instead, but I guess Anon-kun is too much of a dickschnitzel
>>27174748I think getting enough personal power to oust him is a better idea. Harem route splits our power among too many people and risks betrayal.I don't think poison will work either, unless we've got enough points. He probably has plot armor.
>>27174746For the sake of the story, our character and Konoko should improve their relationship "on screen", so to speak. We're not like Anon-kun; we're not gonna rush development just for the sake of immediate satisfaction.>>27174748If we want to bring in undertones of yuri into this story, let's at least try to get on friendlier terms with Konoko first. No need to immediately try to get to our goals. We have time. Let's work towards them properly.

>>27174810This guy brings up a good point : we should show our character development happening instead of pulling it out of our ass.
>>27174748I'm against yuri without Konoko being on board with it first. She seems to be okay with a little "accidental fondling" as long as we keep it to a minimum. We should run anything beyond that by her first.

>>27174837> trying to block something running on HOTBLOOD with poisonCareful there, we'll just shift the world towards a Weekly Shounen Jump type of story meaning we won't get to do squat since those stories have girls be POTENTIALLY powerful but ultimately irrelevant.>>27174866>>27174843>>27174906Yea, please don't open that box. I guess after Magical Cheerleader Arc we can branch out into K-on! territory afterwards, continuing the Moe theme.

>>27174979/tg/ becomes a magical place.
>>27174897You know, what's most interesting here is that there literally hasn't been one post suggesting we not kill Anon for moral reasons. Every single person wants to kill Anon, but some don't think we can pull it off.Kudos to Twen for making a character with no redeeming features at all.
>>27175004It will be difficult to undo what we've done so far though, especially since the protag seems fond of it.
>>27174897But what if making the world darker is the only way to overcome his bullshit shonen powers? The more optimistic the plot the more power he has, because he's the hotblooded protagonist. The darker the plot, the more likely his hotbloodedness is to cause him to get messed up by trying to wrassle a Dead Apostle or something equally stupid.
Nope, nope, nope, not going to let yourself get cheesecaked that easy. This stupid outfit and its god damn boob windows finally work to your advantage as you fly out of it in a cloud silk, belts, and poor design decisions. "HEY KONOKO! HAVE YOU SEEN MY WATER? I CAN'T REMEMBER WHERE I PUT IT- NAH, NAH, YOU DON'T NEED TO GET ME SOME I THINK I REMEMBER IT BEING IN KONOKO'S ROOOO-" He pulls open the door to the room, just as you're cinching the skirt up and around your hips. You look at him, and smile. He looks disappointed.>0.02 Waifu points lost. Total now 0.30."Wow!" You giggle, twirling around in the clothes, "I, I never imagined I could wear something like this! It's so...I don't know what to say," You glance at the mirror, turning around, looking at yourself- crap, yeah, tucked that skirt in to your panties a bit. You quickly adjust it, but Anon doesn't seem to notice. He's looking off to a distant horizon."Yeah...That was her favorite uniform too."What. How can someone have a favorite school uniform? You stare at him, then remember yourself, and gasp, bringing your hands to your face. You look away, sad, brow furrowed."I-I-I'm sorry...I didn't mean to...""No," Anon looks back to you, smiling- wait. His eyes changed colors. One was gold, one was black, now one is gold, and one is green. Sheesh, pick a retarded schtick already! At least the scar's still there, "I'm sure...I'm sure she could make someone happy, even dead."You're starting to feel nauseous.
>>27175012What the heck, man. You copy pasted the description.
>>27174979Well that depends.Sometimes, it just leads to the characters leading a healthy relationship, like two girls who are in love should. Like how things went down between Minaka and Anne in "Magical" Girl Quest.Other times... well... -bad things- can happen.
>>27174941What's wrong with /u/?>>27174950He can influence the story, and we've already introduced magic.Magical or high tech healing aren't out of the question.
He puts a hand on your shoulder, making your nausea worse. He stares you in the eyes, opening his mouth to say something- you, obediently blush and look away. For a good few seconds, this awkward scene lasts, before he walks away. What, does he think this is romantic? "Yurr wearing muh dead sister's clothes 2cute.""A-Anon!" You shout out the doorway after him, but he only gives a wave and walks away.>0.01 Waifu points gained! Total now 0.31.2DEEP4ME. Yuck. Just had to fit in your angsty back story, huh? Oh well. You breath a sigh of relief. God, this thing is hard to breath in. You barely managed to fit your ass in this skirt. At the moment, you are a god damn panty shot frenzy waiting to happen. Couldn't give you an actual uniform, hm?You blink. The dark presence. It's outside the window from this room to outside the house. Dark out. Anon's walking away- he must not be aware of it. Konoko's still in the kitchen. The dark presence is...Actually moving away. Hm. Anticlimactic. You can operate for a time outside of Anon's presence. But if things go south- the world alignment is only +1. The story's only begun.. A twist could happen. On the other hand- you could break out of the damsel role pretty quick if you bring this thing in. You'd have to be quick and strong. You can manipulate Ki- but your physical features are undeveloped at the moment. Course, you do have amnesia. Pretty easy to asspull from there.>Your move.
>>27174979Existential Collapse, apparently.Which is interesting. It would seem reality is bound to the POV and the relation to the Protagonist, who is driven by his own typical self-interest. As far as we can tell, we lack an audience and a creator who structure the universe, or drive it.Or perhaps we just lack the perspective. We can see the rules that under-lie our Creation, but are insufficient to gaze beyond the precipice and see what lies outside the context of our reality, yet still shapes it.
>>27174979>W-what happens if you go Full Yuri™?It all.BURNS.>>27175004>I guess after Magical Cheerleader Arc we can branch out into K-on! territory afterwards, continuing the Moe theme. We can't unfuck the world that way I fear. Only push it back like it tends to happen in, say, Infinite Stratos. YES, there's a CRAZY scientist on the loose who regularly attacks the protagonist and his friends b-- OH SHIT BEACH EPISOOOODEEEE~!!!
>>27175046>abusing the time space continuum to tell your past self to molest someone>healthyDamn, /u/ is fucking creepy.
Just for the record, what are everyone's long term plans for this stuff? As mentioned, I'd like nothing more than to trainwreck this entire thing. Or, barring that, managing to somehow escape to a quiet life. I've very little interest actually hooking up with Anon-kun.
>>27175067Well apparently out butt is very well developed. It's a shame we can't beat up mysterious figures with it.Perhaps Antagonist is going to enrol at the same school, and we conspicuously not confront them there?
>>27175033>0.02 Waifu points lost. Total now 0.30.We can LOSE Waifu points by failing to pander to Anon's desires?Shit! Shitshitshit! We're doomed.
>>27175067He did seem to imply that he knew what that thing was earlier, so maybe wrangling it in isn't the best bet if we want to get along with him. Ask Konoko.
>>27175101I'm in with the trainwreck scenario. I want Anon as dead or marginalized as is possible.
>>27175067Nope, nuh uh. In Grimdark land we're almost guaranteed to die near the climax so that the protag can angst about it, and Konoko'll be the first to go. I recommend we play the long game here. Or as long as we can stand with this jackass.
>>27175067Konoko already told us to stay out of her specialty, so making an asspull to give ourselves combat skills would be....well, let's not go down that way.>>27175101I'm looking for us to get our own spin-off.
>>27175109I know, that was total bullshit!
Question.Have we ever stated whether or not we were happy in the lab?Because we could throw some drama in by having the lab be taken over by external forces...
>>27175109I thought this was obvious. Like, what? Was the fact that our existence depended on him not obvious enough? Or that it's called WAIFU points?
>>27175109Fuck me sideways and call me a ballerina, I don't think we can escape....Guys, what will happen if Anon-kun's dead?>>27175101I think we should try to supplant anon-kun as the protaganist, to ensue the world's continued existence. Failing that, spinoffs.
>>27175109Ok, yeah, its time to Kohaku this shit.Full steam for SUFFERING, because noblebright harem anime clearly favors him FAR too much.
>>27175101I'm more interested in understanding the laws of this universe. We need to know if it's better to escape from here or become God of the current universe.
>>27175149Oh, yes. I like this twist a lot.It could even be what we need to help us get our own spin-off.
>>27175099>molest someoneSorry, but no. It was about mustering up the courage to confess. In this case it was fairly kosher.>>27175046>Other times... well... -bad things- can happen.Quite right.>>27175057>What's wrong with /u/?Oh, nothing, it's just like there's nothing wrong with fire. You just are careful with it.>>27175140>>27175109That wasn't obvious? Terrible waifus, would not buy tons of merch of/10
>>27175166>Oh, nothing, it's just like there's nothing wrong with fire. You just are careful with it.Yeah. We don't want this quest to devolve to simply pandering to the waifu lovers. Some of us actually want to put more emphasis on story progress.
>>27175109We can try to pull a Railgun and both become more popular and get a spin off.
>>27175099But that's not what happened at all! Future Anne told Past Anne that no, Minaka would not reject her, which was the only way for Past Anne to get the courage up to confess! That they proceeded to be horny teenagers happened afterwards, and is irrelevant to Anne's use of the program.>>27175101I personally think that our long term goals should set this to be a light hearted plot in a dark setting. The scientists who experimented on us were - ultimately - good guys, hoping to create something that could help defend humanity from a coming evil. Anon-Kun and his sister also came from this program - as did Konoko. Implanted memories and what not.But none of this matters, because the monsters aren't a challenge for us to defeat. What's really important is - Can Anon-Kun and friends defeat the monsters AND win the Football Tournament?
>>27175149Oh I like this idea a lot. It also neatly explains why a supposedly-evil lab created a line of clones that have the power to heal people - our creator only wanted to have us help people by healing them.
>>27175101I would like to see how much of this world we can save while still destroying the tyranny of anonkun.
>>27175184>Yeah. We don't want this quest to devolve to simply pandering to the waifu lovers.Think of what you just said.We ARE the waifu. We look out for ourselves.Ergo we're waifu lovers.shamalayan.tiff>>27175193>We can try to pull a Railgun and both become more popular and get a spin off. This is a good idea.
>>27175123Talkin' to Konoko.
>>27175215>Think of what you just said.To be clear, you're just joking around, right?
>>27175033>"HEY KONOKO! HAVE YOU SEEN MY WATER? I CAN'T REMEMBER WHERE I PUT IT- NAH, NAH, YOU DON'T NEED TO GET ME SOME I THINK I REMEMBER IT BEING IN KONOKO'S ROOOO-">HEY KONOKO>KONOKO'S ROOOO-Anon has us wearing his dead sister's clothes. That's a bit creepy.Anon has Konoko wearing his dead sister's NAME. That's orders of magnitude creepier.
>>27175046Professor Chaos, if you're here, I take that means you aren't going to run Villain Quest today?I'd sage for off-topic, but we already hit the bump limit.
I'm getting a very "Cabin in the Woods" vibe off here, which is AWESOME!
>>27175152The next most important person becomes the protagonist. We hope. Supplanting him first before killing him sounds like a good idea anyway.>>27175154I think hovering a bit below 0 works better. Too low and we make it hard to get back into positives when he's dead.
>>27175225...naturally, I'm a faggot but not /that/ much of a faggot. We need to find out everyone's favourite foods stat. Trust me, I'm a scientist.
Very true, for the finding out how the metaphysical laws of where we are work. That's not really an endgame goal, but it's definitely an important long-term one. I'll support that.As for spin-offs, or supplanting the protagonist... I worry that would simply be trading one problem for another, and/or compounding things. I suppose such will have to be answered by the 'How do the metaphysical laws work here?' goal.>>27175184Well, a good and well-written romance is a fun thing, emphasis 'Good and well-written', but plot progression is important, yeah.
>>27175244Oh god.Anon is batshit insane.Like, that guy from Psycho insane.
>>27175244Our rival/potential ally's name is KANOKO.Anon's little sister's name was KONOKO.
>>27175248Well, Cabin in the Woods is a self-aware commentary on the formulaic nature of the modern Horror genre. So I'd say that's a pretty apt comparison to this quest in general.
>>27175246now I'm sadI was waiting for villain quest all day
>>27175249I don't think we should go lower than 0. I don't want to find out the hard way how low is low enough to get killed off to give anonkun "character development".
>>27175246>Professor Chaos, if you're here, I take that means you aren't going to run Villain Quest today? He said so in the last QTG.>>27175248>I'm getting a very "Cabin in the Woods" vibe off here, which is AWESOME!Quite, only that we're a bit more free to change our archetypes and roles.>>27175264Well, the writing is already pretty phoned in what with the total kitchen sink of a story so... yea.
>>27175271Slightly less bad.
>>27175269>>27175244...We should ask Kanoko how long she's 'known' Anon.Because I'm worried that Anon's little sister was like us.
>>27175288>>27175249There's also the problem that the World Alignment could be a slippery slope. Once you start going grimmer and darker, it becomes easier to slip down lower on the scale.
>>27175246Announced that in an early QTG, yeah. Next one will be Sunday.>>27175195I like the cut of this man's jib.Make it shounen, in that we've got enemy monsters of the week with the occasional boss mook. But treat fighting them - once the Men In Suits explain "HOLD ON A SEC WILL YOU! WE'RE THE GOOD GUYS!" - like it's a part time job. Where the struggle isn't fighting the monsters, but leading our ordinary lives -while- fighting the monsters.
>>27175271>Competing Waifu: Konoko>KonokoFrom the OP.
>>27175271I wish that were true, but...>>27173871>Konoko>>27172619>Konoko>>27172257>Konoko ...it's just not.
>>27175315Oh yay, we are Buffy the Vampire Slayer now! I just hope our creator is not Joss Whedon, because then we're screwed.
>>27175307We have to kill this son of a bitchfor the safety of all of our kind
>>27175348I was thinking something more akin to VividRed Operation, actually.
>>27175307>>27175354>Because I'm worried that Anon's little sister was like us.Why do you THINK we have her measurements, Anon. Huh? HUUUH?LABS?CULTS?NEEDLES?It all checks out, we're the Clone.
>>27175307I think little sister was retconned into existence just now? Konoko seems like she knew nothing of her.If she's still a mutable existence, maybe we can ask Konoko to shapes her a bit? Like say, making damn sure she's not us, reincarnated?Mess with the timeline a bit.
>>27175307I did just want to gtfo. But no one is safe with this nutbar running around. He must be eliminated for the sake of us all.
>>27175288>>27175311Not risking lower world alignment means dealing with Anon longer. I think it's a worthwhile bet.
>>27175370GODDAMMNIT, we're Rei aren't we?
>>27175370You're too savvy and associative for my peace of mind.
>>27175370...I'd say that we need to raid this house for photo albums, except that they might not actually exist yet.Maybe we should try anyway.
Well, fuck dealing with dark presence shit. That can come later. For now though- you take off the school uniform and stretch. You know, logically- the reason the school uniform didn't fit was two fold- younger sister, and Anon's perviness.Still can't shake the worry you're fat. In a rather unladylike way, scratching yourself all the while, you wish up some sweat pants and a sweat shirt to wear. Something comfy for once, without wind rolling up your nethers. You glance out the window- yeah, dark presence gone. You walk back to the kitchen just as Konoko finishes. She glances up from washing her hands."He walk in on you?""Yep.""I gotta learn to start betting on this stuff.""Hey, uh, you've been here before me- but I keep sensing this, dark presence kind of stuff.""Dark presence?" Konoko raises an eyebrow, "You can't be more specific.""Fuck if I know, I just randomly start staring at corners while the music starts spiking- but look, bad mojo's in the air," You walk past Konoko, popping open the fridge, "Don't suppose he has a beer?""Knock yourself out, I won't tell if you won't," She reaches past you, grabbing a six pack, "Gonna taste like piss though.""Whatever, let me pretend," You crack it open, haul back, gag, start coughing. Damn, you had to get your form used to the taste of alcohol all over again. You hated this stuff, "Ack, anyway- any ghosts? Demons? Uh, oni?""Oni are demons too.""Whatever, you know what I mean.""Nope," Konoko gives you a glare, taking a seat at the table, cracking open the beer, "I was trying to steer stuff in to a slice of life. You're the one bringing out the mind controlling villains.""I said I was sorry!" In lieu of a response, she gives you a half hearted middle finger while chugging her beer. Man, she had experience. How long had she been here?>Your move.>>27175244>Woo, somebody noticed!
>>27175395Maybe make this into a moment and get some more points?
>>27175395I say we spend a few points to MAKE them exist and MAKE them not be too like us. If they change, we know we're in deep shit rather than Anon just being seriously uncreative.
>>27175377I see your point, but respectfully disagree.
>>27175257>We need to find out everyone's favourite foods stat.If this is a by-the-numbers waifu gig, then its pancakes.
>>27175370Not if we don't want to.Anon-kun probably just retconned his little sister into existence, so as long as we don't try to make any suggestions to him to steer him that way.>>27175403Tell her that, apparently, MC's little sister was named Konoko. So, she has a chance, if she wants to take advantage of it.Also share our plan. If she doesn't think it'd be too convoluted, we can try and bring back the sports theme to the story.
>>27175244I thought Konoko just lived with him/he liver with her since he was an exchange student or whatever and you were changing in her room.
>>27175403"Bad news for the both of us, his sisters name was Konoko.""I don't think this is all my doing."
>>27175403"No, we can still steer this into SOL for now. I'll try to help make the sports meet happen and delay any scary stuff for much later. You seem to be much more experienced than me in this. How long have you been doing this, and how much do you know about Anon?"
>>27175403"So do you have any idea why his little sister has your name? Every explanation I've come up with says you were never getting that happy slice of life story whether I showed up or not."
>>27175403Let's be honest with her, a little. "So, sounds like you've been here a while, huh? I'm kind of new, I guess. Sorry if I stepped on your plans a little, I was just trying to get a foothold into existing."
>>27175403Tell her about her name and the little sister's being the same. Talk with her about trying to move things towards the Sports Meet, while working in low-magic stuff, maybe a monster of the week kind of deal.
>>27175436>>27175460I second these. Konoko needs to know the shit we've just discovered. Two people working to mitigate Anon's craziness is better than one too.
>>27175149>>27175164>>27175207As long as our creator was named "Thomas", I am totally okay with this.
>>27175460>>27175467Let's not do that.Let her come to that thought herself, but trying to push it onto her would just make her deny it. Even if it is true. This is, like. Such a common trope in arguments.
>>27175403Prod her with some questions regarding how long she's been dealing with this. And how to effectively asspull powers.
>>27175460I've been getting that feeling too. Didn't OP mention something about it looking like an alien invasion in thread 1? I don't think anonkun had any intention of letting her have her SOL from the beginning.
>>27175481Don't think we can, chief. We act scared to death when we mentioned it before. Gotta be consistent, or this whole narrative's gonna rip.
>>27175504Course we're scared to death, the last year or so there has been hell and our creator was murdered when he let us escape.
How long has it been since you truly had hope?Since the words Happily Ever After were anything but a death sentence?Every time he promises to love you, with words, with looks, with a warm hand enclosed around yours, with his flesh. And it is /always/ a lie.Even when he dies for you.Even as you hold him in your arms and your tears fall like snowflakes to kiss his face one last time.It is still a lie.Because then the darkness comes and takes your love away. And next time your his sister, or enemy, and the love you had is less than garbage. It's forgotten. And there is only one way to make his love true again after so long. After so many betrayals he can only do one thing to atone. He can love you.All of him. Every single one.The women you erase will be better off that way. For truly never having loved at all is so much sweeter than having loved and lost. The reverse harem you build will span EVERY genre.Every hero will love you.Because its the only way to be sure.
>>27175488She has no reason to disbelieve it.
>>27175495Try reading the context. It was just our character trying to guess the setting. The setting is malleable, so for now, let's not assume anything except for Anon-kun having a huge sister complex.
Okay, mentioning the same name between little sister and her, and then talk about working together for the sports meet.
>>27175557Let her get to the conclusion herself. If we look like we're pushing onto it, she'll just assume that we want to force her to believe it for our benefit. That's what I was saying. This is such a common trope, how could you not see it?
>>27175569Yeah, let's go with this.
>>27175514Oooh, and that scores us sympathy points, too.
>>27175562I'm aware. But, with the revelation of anonkun being a bugfuck psycho on a power trip there's the possibility that the guess was more accurate than we thought.
>>27175619>>27175514>>27175504>>27175481We've got amnesia, don't we?It'll just have to be one of the things that we "remember" as the plot progresses.
>>27175481What's the "Thomas" reference?
>>27175386>GODDAMMNIT, we're Rei aren't we?Except that we'll win.Sorry, had to.>>27175395>>27175409They'd probably retcon themselves in anyways, but I strongly suspect even if we are a clone of hers aged a few years up we won't look like her because SCIENCE.
>>27175386Complete with eventually ending the world in the trippiest apocalypse possible.
We're already at ten. Keep voting, folks.http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html
>>27175683We can choose not to be a clone of her, as long as Anon-kun doesn't think to do so (which, given the fact that he named his little sister after Konoko and made us dress in her clothes, just makes it seem more likely that he has a sis-fetish and is living it out through us) and we don't pursue it.
>>27175697It'd at least give us a chance to leave forever.
>>27175697Actually, it would be awesome if we pull a EoE and break the universe, and use that to escape and punch Anno in the face.
>>27175712It's bad manners to keep asking everyone to vote it up. We'll do it when we want to and when it's convenient. No need to bring it up.
>>27175288It'd be worth it.Positive world alignment favors Mr Protag to a crazy degree, because shonen protag powers. If we want him to die THIS ANON IS AN EYESORE then we need to swing it in to the negatives.Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Fortune favors the bold. Random metaphor advocating risky actions. ect.
>>27175733Whats that? WAIFU QUEST is evolving!~music~WAIFU QUEST has evolved into PUNCH ANIME DIRECTORS QUEST
>>27175687So are we going for game-canon Tom, or Protomen Tom?I'd say game-canon Tom just because bringing in ANYTHING from the Protomen version of the Megaman-verse will immediately drag the setting out of optimism and into horribly depressing in one swift blow.
>>27175750BITCH'LL KILL US
>>27175750Positive world alignment also stops Anon from going full horror movie slasher on us.
>>27175750Aut inveniam viam aut faciamI will either find a way or make one.
>>27175750Some people want him to die.Others are fine with just breaking away from him and, perhaps, letting him fade away on his own.So you can't really use that as an argument as to why a negative world alignment is better than a positive one.
>>27175750People can still die off or be retired in positive anime. We'll just likely need more power to do it. Positive world means we're gonna survive longer though>>27175768I'm pretty sure she wants him dead just as much as we do.
>>27175687Oh god.Does this mean that the villain is Mind Control Doctor Wily? Are we going to have to fight eight clone masters?
I feel like this is some kind of anime Truman show with a really lazy director.
>>27175792The guy we introduced was working on someone else's orders.
>>27175817>He's one of the Eight Clone Masters
>>27175750He's favored by the narrative because he's the protagonist. Negative would make things much worse for us than for him. But, he's already shown instability "on camera", if we get popular enough and he keeps being crazy we can PLOT TWIST him into the villain and us into the protag and kill him to death.
>>27175785I wouldn't mind romancing him and perhaps making him a better pers-- oh fuck, it's happening, isn't it? I'm adopting the waifu mindset HELP.>>27175725Alright, let's talk business then. What is more advantageous to us?I
>>27175817Mind control Bass?...If we get a bass guitar does that mean we'll have to have a guitar duel?
>>27175802Which is why I made the "Cabin in the Woods" comment earlier. I wonder if we can end it the same way, break through the facade and attack the creator directly?
>>27175822I have not played Megaman.
>>27175785>just breaking away from himThis is less of a viable option now OP has confirmed waifu point decay.
>>27175829Pic related.>>27175842You poor, poor person. Go do so. You won't regret it.
>>27175826It would have been more advantageous to us to give Anon-kun the ecchi scene he wanted earlier. Some of us want to keep our character's dignity.Plus, if we become his cloned sister, it would be harder to shake off his relevance if we ever become more important than him.
>>27175825this is a good idea
>>27175829>>27175852Then try and loop it back into Konoko's sports theme? We're supposed to have some sort of powers later, right? Maybe the duel ends up being some sort of one-shot power-up song for an important meet or something!
>>27175826Clone is more likely to make the plot revolve around us.
>>27175844maybe 1 is the threshold where we don't suffer decay anymore?
>>27175844No, not at all. I was always working under that assumption. I don't know why some people never even considered it.
>>27175829>>27175852>we form The World's Most Awesome Band out of other waifus and become popular enough to get our own spinoff series>us on bass>Konoko on drums>other slots to be filled
>>27175869It'd also make it more likely for us to be killed off, if Anon-kun's decided we're getting uppity.
>>27175873>maybe 1 is the threshold where we don't suffer decay anymore? That was said in thread one.
>>27175873Perhaps once we increase our relevance to a certain point, we'll start gaining Protagonist Points.Who knows.
>>27175874Also, killing him before we reach the independence threshold is dangerous.
>>27175825He could just be one of those LOLSORANDUMB protags, like that Bormont Slime shit. Sure, it looks creepy to us, but from his side he is just fucking around with us.
>>27175882Better yet>"And that was how me and Konoko here formed Tenacious D."
>>27175918I miss Katawa Broujo. There the LOLSORANDUM at least worked.
Cowards, all of you. Playing right in to Anon's hands.

>>27175921So then we challenge Anon to a rockoff challenge for Protagonist status?
>>27175937>really FUCKING CREEPYBut to an audience of /a/utists its just a silly imouto/wincest joke about a dead sister that totally didn't exist until 5 minutes ago. I do agree that its creepy as fuck, though.
>>27175939>How would we break away without removing Anon as the main focus of the story? We become relevant and get our own spin-off. Think To Aru Kagaku no Railgun.
>>27175964>Think To Aru Kagaku no RailgunSo our spinoff will be better than the main show?Fuck yes.
You brace yourself for another swig of beer- before pausing. "Hey, Konoko?"She doesn't say anything, just raises a finger while she keeps chugging. Show off. You wait, impatiently. Eventually, Konoko pulls the can away from her lips with a contented sigh."Konoko, you remember what Anon-kun said earlier? About where his water bottle was?""Eh? Yeah, I was hearing him yell something, but he was talking in the tone of voice that stated he didn't really give a shit about what I was thinking about, so I tuned him out," She reaches for another beer, "Wouldn't matter what I said one way or another-" She freezes, narrows her eyes in suspicion, "Why do you ask?""He said it was 'Konoko's' room," You nurse your beer, raising an eyebrow, "You have any idea why that might be?" Konoko sets her beer can down."He said it was my room?""Did I s-s-s-stutter?""You usually do talking to him.""Shut up, he thinks it's cute. But, he said 'Konoko's' room. Think about it," You lean in, eyes narrowed, "I sincerely doubt that that's a coincidence."Konoko looks a bit green, drumming her fingers on the can, shaking her head, "No, no, maybe- maybe he was just confused, or, or it'll work in to my backstory as how we met or-""I'm calling time travel bullshit," You cock your head, "Time travel bullshit, or clones.""Screw you, 'Miko-chan,' you're the one trying to fit in his little sister's clothes-""Whoa, whoa, whoa, okay, stop! I was trying to be amicable here! I figured you'd want to know."Konoko frowns."No lies, right? I mean, I don't want to bring this up and then have him think I'm crazy.""I wouldn't bring it up, considering how quick he is to get angry," You shake your head, "Creepiest guy I can remember""Remember. Heh," Konoko scratches the back of her head, "I think I'm starting to lose it myself. But you wanted to talk plans," She stands up from the table, "We've talked too much here as is. I say, we go to Anon, I say I'm going to take you shopping."
>>27175976The stuff that JC Staff makes for Railgun is cancerous as fuck. They had Mikoto fire her railgun like it was a kamehameha or some shit.
"It'll burn our points.""Less than us sneaking off on our own. Aside from that, do you want him to overhear us?""Point. Oooh, could I get an actual school uniform too?""It might piss off Anon-""-Unless you give him a little heart to heart," You point out, suddenly standing and excited, "YOU have the same name as her! You can have an emotional heart to heart, give him a chance to angst, and he can put away the clothes in a ritual! It'll be great drama, he'll love it!"Konoko looks conflicted."...Maybe. But he might get pissed.""And I might get warped in to his little sister, wearing his clothes," You jerk a thumb back to the hallway, "How long until he 'notices' my amnesia and works in that I'm his sister of old?""There's no way, he would have noticed you looked like her when you first met!"You're not so sure of that. You don't fancy falling to a protagonist's whims. A whole day in a dead sister's school uniform just screamed flashback moments a plenty- which might result in the erasure of your sentience.Which you can not allow to happen.>Note: Operating outside of Anon's range will guarantee secrecy- and might allow opportunities to set things in stone, forcing anon to plan around such things.>However, this will cost you waifu points. >>27175990Anon clearly doesn't give a shit about a cohesive narrative, but he does seem to care about looking OHSODEEP and angsty. Plus, that keeps us from becoming supremely creepy siscon fapbait against our will. I'm all for it.
>>27175999>>27176034If Konoko is friendly enough with us by then, I'm sure we can work out a way to drag her out of Anon-kun's story.

We're Cure Black, Konoko is Cure White.Think about it for a second.
>>27175990I say we go with the shopping plan. Clothes are nice, of course, and it gives us a chance to visibly show that we're bonding with Konoko to Anon. Show respect and let her take the lead, though, as she is the spunky outgoing one and we are the confused needy amnesiac. We may also wish to say that we want to get a phone so that we can >blushcall him if we're in trouble. Might get us cheap points, who knows.
>>27176047We need to get a good set of bicycle shorts.
>>27176034>Oh shit son, oh shit.I know, it's terrible.

>>27176065I don't get the reference.
>>27176067Arent we set up as the clumsy one?Only the tomboy/sporty characters wear bike shorts.
>>27176092You don't need to, it's a fairly high-powerlevel/nerd series. Just forget about it since people of varying backgrounds intermingle here.
>>27176083We will still lose waifu points for it. Konoko convincing him to voluntarily give em up would be ideal, but that can be plan b
>>27175963No, even from an /a/ perspective its pretty creepy. This is some kind of supernatural psycho horror shit going on.
>>27176066I like this idea, but does our "character" even know what a phone is? If we're not that aware of the world outside, we should try to be amazed by the technology outside of the lab we were kept it.Or we could just say that we did. Who knows if we even have to act out our character development outside of Anon-kun's view.
>>27176093Thus far, we're the mysterious one.Because our background is mostly a blank slate except for "The Lab", we could make ourself the product of a supersoldier program if we really wanted to.
>>27176114It's more fridge horror, I think. Until the point Anon-kun starts visibly breaking down, it's just normal creepiness.
>>27176129I guess the meta perspective we have makes it a bit creepier.
>>27176116Why would be amazed by technology if we were kept in a lab full of super science? If anything we should be unimpressed by the relative crudeness of non super science tech.
>>27176116Clearly Konoko mentioned it to us as something we might want to buy when shopping came up.
>>27176126Let's try to leave the physical fitness to Konoko. How about we play up our "magical" side instead? Shooting out blasts of ki or being able to paralyze people by touch. Stuff like that.
>>27176114>>27176129Its almost like an anime/quest version of that godzilla creepypasta. Everything is just creepy at the edges until Red shows up.
>>27176167It's Black Lagoon.
>>27176011>Waifu points cost.Depends on how long you're out. If you're going out without an 'event' in mind, it'll be 0.1 waifu points per 'scene' per participant character. With an excuse, like shopping, hot springs, study group, whatever, acting independently of Anon is only 0.05 per 'scene.' The real costs come in when you interact with characters. If you have a name for them, or want to have them stick around, it'll be 0.2 without an event, and 0.15 with an event. Scene here being defined very loosely. Essentially, if you have to travel for a while, it's a scene. At any rate- everyone seems happy with going on a shopping trip, and keeping the clothes issue for later. Writing.
>>27176167Black Lagoon, nigga. Its like Shadowrun without the magic.
>>27176167Black Lagoon. The girl also has a China Lake pump action grenade launcher hidden under her maid outfit, which she uses to put a 40mm through the ceiling, totaling the whorehouse upstairs.

Thanks.>>27175986JC Staff's everything is cancerous as fuck, seriously. But hey, enjoy your shower scenes.>>27176167Oh, and you should watch it. It'll probably be to your liking plus it's pretty good.
>>27176192We can mix the examples I gave with the sports theme. Easy enough to do.
>>27176208>JC Staff's everything is cancerous as fuck, seriously. They made Thouma into a LOLSODENSE ECKS DEE harem protag instead of simply not interested in most of the girls and literally cut out large chunks of plot. >>27176208>This. It's certainly skirting the borders of what /a/ likes to have in their magical realm.I was more making the point that if this showed up in some generic harem dreck you'd be pretty hard-pressed to laugh it off as a wincest joke.

>>27175712Oh, also, before I forget again- please don't do this. I appreciate the sentiment, but I'm quite aware of the fact that that first thread was a ridiculous god damn fluke. Don't ask for votes, it's kind of tacky.>>27176205It is extremely. On the other hand though, this could mean bringing out a non-sentient character that could serve as a bastion against Anon's schemes- or to curb another waifu, if one would prefer. Characters will persist, but aren't very smart. They're there for bit roles- a reliable shopkeeper that is secretly a ninja to provide quick plot armor against an attack. Or, a talent scout that will provide a plot line of going pro for Konoko. Or somebody that can arrange car bombs. Getting them outside of their scene will be difficult, but characters can be very potent, if you accumulate them.Still, it's not recommended at this point until you can get a power source independent of the protagonist.>Less babbling, more writing.
>>27176258>power source independent of the protagonist.Hmm, I wonder what these could be. Going villain or archenemy? Magic plotrocks?
>>27176258>until you can get a power source independent of the protagonistTHAT'S A THING WE CAN DO!? Well, that's priority number 1 then.
>>27176258>Or somebody that can arrange car bombs.Guys, I know who we need to bring in.
>>27176258Are we allowed to know how we might get a power source independent of the protagonist?
>>27176292Michael Westin and Brucie motherfucking Campbell.Anon's Americano. let's get some American popculture in here to rattle him and force him to forget about his forced narrative and get him to start acting reactionary. It'll give us some space.

>>27176316If we're bringing in American pop culture then we just get John McClane up in this bitch.>>27176324To be fair, Urobuchi isn't REALLY at fault for Fate/Zero being so goddamn depressing. Damn near all the really depressing shit happened because it had to happen that way to set up Stay Night.
>>27176282It's possible that there is an Audience. A meta-textual entity who exists outside the universe, and observes it. I mean, other wise, how do we exist outside of the context of his POV? Alternatively, Antagonists are sapient constructs, similar to waifus. They're self-aware, but to maintain autonomy, they must do antagonist things.
>>27176228>>27176192>>27176165> Ki> sports theme> not TOO grimdarkHold on, what do you think of the following?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ali4TQq_X6UIf we go for that feel it could make this somehow fit. Make the creepy people in the lab a country trying to augment their sports theme to win the world cup cause SPORTS ARE SERIOUS BUSINESS but shoves the world destruction shit way back, justifies everyone's powers and doesn't make things too lethal.>>27176244Alright, fair enough.>>27176240...what happened? I put that on hiatus cause the first season didn't do it for me and I wanted to read the manga.>>27176324>I'M NOT GETTING KILLED OFF ON THE 3RD EP!You don't kill off Mystery Girl by EP 3 unless she's The Mentor which are very clearly are not. We'll die in the penultimate episode.Err... yea, let's not.
While we're out, let's buy a variety of glass tubes and bottles of numerous shapes, maybe some beakers. If we're mysterious and magical, that means we get to have a workshop if we so choose. If we have a workshop, it means we get to make espresso with a ridiculous setup of tubes and beakers. If we can make science espresso, we can milk waifu points from anon AND have science espresso.
>>27176340McClane isn't the right kind of crazy we need to find a way to bump Anon from Protag to Sidekick. We need a major paradigm shift.Maybe we can conjure up a lab scene involving some horrible testing on anon and an implanted kill switch? he's savvy about the men in black thing.
>>27176324But anon, Kerry totally beat the badguy and survived! He even adopted a kid who inherited his protagonist powers! But seriously, Fate/Zero (Urobutcher) had a better survival rate amongst Grail War participants than Fate/Stay Night (Nasu) did. Hell, Waver actually lived happily every after.
>>27176355>themeTEAM, fuck, TEAM.>>27176363>>27176340If you bring America into this they'll be the ones trying to kill us due to anime logic, and if you get McClane he'll be damn good at killing things.

>>27176355So we are the MAGICAL sports girl while Konoko is the practical sports girl that beats us with GUTS?

>>27176380>If you bring America into this they'll be the ones trying to kill us due to anime logicI take it you've never heard of a man by the name of "Alfred Walken", have you?
>>27176405I don't think that's a good narrative. Too competitive. At some point the narrative will become Us. vs. Konoko which is a bad spot to be in. Locker room and actual practice would mean he could only creep us from a distance, giving us space to plot, while remaining important to his narrative.
>>27176394What's the problem?
>>27176432It's Prince of Tennis. That's the problem.

>>27176340>>27176355>>27176371I'm just paranoid that there is a creator entity and we want to avoid some of the worst ones possible. Urobuchi is probably the worst because then plot armor disappears. ...we could try to make it a magical girl series and make anon the love interest. It would give us a shit ton of agency.
>>27176474Anon's a fuckin' fag, though.
>>27176474Konoko says anon-kun, shockingly enough, got a brain on him. If we moves recklessly, it's off to the fridge we go.
>>27176474>anon the love interestThere's a pretty major problem in that plan.
>>27176474That would make a lot of sense. We can even make a shonen and appeal to a wider audience. Also, a sports magic girl is a pretty original concept, so we're trying something new and provide novelty to the audience
>>27176474Fairly major problem with that is that anon is 1. self-aware and 2. seems fairly set in what he wants. That and hes an enormous cockgargler.
>>27176503>implying trying something new will go over well with the creepy assholes this show obviously panders to
>>27176474>anon>love interestThere's seems to be a massive gaping flaw in your plan. Namely anon being the king of all cockfalcons.
>>27176503Hmm. That's an interesting idea.We could make an appeal to the audience and steal their hearts and supplant Anon as the main character without altering the fabric of the narrative too heavily.it's risky, though. He's self-aware...probably. it won't be easy.>>27176508 like he said.
>>27176472Tomino (Gundam series creator) would be worst. But yea, I think paranoia is a good companion in this quest.>>27176474We'll get blocked out.>>27176503> the bad guys need us to re-create the Chaos Dunk and revive their dead masterWELP.>>27176423'course I did, but most americans in that were still all GLASS THE WORLD INSTEAD OF TRUSTING IT TO TEENAGERS AFAIR so... ya.>>27176399> JC Staff> anime original ending> in fucking RAILDEXI don't have any NOPEs left.>>27176429>Wouldn't sports practice be a great way to get away from Anon?Sure, let's do that.>>27176394>>27176435>>27176466I didn't mean to cause offense.

A quick knock on the door, and Anon's 'come in,' and she slides open the door, putting on a cheery grin."Yo, Anon? We're running low on food, so I was figuring that we'd get some groceries, and I could show Miko-chan a bit around the neighborhood?"Anon is flipping through an old picture book. You grimace. Crap, crap, crap, don't start waxing about your dead sister, please- mercifully, anon closes the book and slides it to the side, frowning."I dunno if it's safe, Konoko, what if they go try to find her again?""Heh, please, Anon," Konoko smiles, slapping her fist in to her palm, "I used to beat you all the time, after all, didn't I?" She points at you, "I mean, I know it's not the best, but she had to wear SOMETHING!"Anon frowns, considering you. He puts his hand on his chin, and then shakes his head. "Nah, nah, that's not right at all. Why would you put her in that Konoko?""J-Just to not make people stare at her, that's all Anon," Konoko waves her hands around, "People won't recognize her in disguise!"Anon again looks at you, before sighing, "Whatever. >>27177036Maybe we can twist it around. Make it a side effect of our MYSTERIOUS POWERS. Small boobs, but big power? We Lina Inverse in the making?
Actually, do we have any concrete clue as to whether the protagonist is sapient or not? I used to hope that he turns out to be also sapient and we can work together, but what with him being a narrative tyrant and forcing us to wear fetishtic clothing and what not, I'm not so sure now. I'm still kind of hoping that we can steer him somewhat and won't end up having to face him as an antagonist though. Or maybe I'm just too into the whole friendship and cooperation and happy ending schtick.

"Yeah, I got just the idea-" You manage to get that out before the scene transition blindsides you. You come to in a clothing store. No idea which clothing store, how many people are here, or what the apparel is- vague shapes of people and the murmuring of crowds assures you the place is populated- not that you could tell from where you're sitting in front of the dressing room.God, you'd gotten too used to being a main character. Travel times would be described, areas would have details. Ooh, looks like Konoko got you some kind of frappuchino! No exits described, no points of entrance, no strange displays- you let yourself relax and slurp on the sugary concoction. You didn't have to worry all that much then. The dressing room door bangs open, and out comes Konoko in a rather elaborate dress and altogether too much make up. You try to squint at the dress, but it's not really detailed either. Something fancy."Well?" Konoko says, giving a spin, "What do you think?""You look like you belong on the tip of a Christmas tree.""So, like a star?""Sure, let's go with that," You stand off the chair, and nearly teeter over at the unfamiliar shoes under you. You look down. Thigh high boots. You raise an eyebrow at Konoko who shrugs."They emphasize your," Konoko brings up her hand and whispers behind it, "Qualities.""Fuck this," You sit back down, arms crossed, "You get to dress me, and I miss out on everything?"
"Sorry, one of the few privileges of being the childhood friend, Miss..Is there anything else I can call you than Miko? Cause Miko sounds ridiculous to me.""I didn't ask for the name," You mumble, setting the frappuccino to the side, "In the meantime, You and I need to talk about our future."Konoko looks a little irritated at that, "Right, right, of course. The plot brought by little miss 'evil agents are chasing me into a slice of life.'""Okay, did you miss out on all the little sister stuff Anon has back there? YOU have the same name as her for some reason- if it weren't for me, you'd be the one wearing his dead sister's clothing!"Konoko crosses her arms at that, "Maybe, maybe not. I do know you got an antagonist after me.""Do you want to hear the plan that'll help us both or not?""Okay," Konoko sits on a nearby prop that could have been a person, or a shelf of shoes, "I'll hear you out. What's your plan then?"Well, that's the question.Obviously, in the long term you want off of Anon's chain. You have to get your power from some other part of the narrative- but right now, it's so feeble that Anon is the only focus for it. You glance around. Hell, you're sure this mall isn't ever going to show up again, it's so shitty. You know, you know there's a way. Tip of your tongue. You shake your head. That's all long term stuff.Short term was right in front of you.>Your move.
>>27177117>God, you'd gotten too used to being a main character.I wonder what her story was like when she was the MC.
>>27177077I would totally love the fuck out of Yamada monogamously.
So it seems like we should find a way to bulk up the narrative, preferably while tying ourselves to some part of it.
>>27177127She's so cute I want to hug her and put her in cute dresses and shamelessly spoon her ice cream from a shared ice cream bowl at some ice cream place.
>>27177125Don't need to tell her our long term plans. Let's just discuss our plans for minimizing Anon's pervertedness.
>>27177149I smell world building
>>27177125>>27177156We already agreed on sharing our plans of trying to bring back the sports theme to the story. >>27177151And then check into a love hotel and FUCK LIKE DEPRAVED, SEX-STARVED RABBITSON SPANISH FLY!
>>27177160The issue is that given how shitty the narritive is right now, we need something big enough to propagate on its own. Unfortunately, those things are either an enemy, rival, or random quest, and we don;t have the power to make anything but villian happen.

'Course, if we can come up with a rational reason why we'd get it....hmmm....It's not like the character we're playing would even know what it was....so I guess we could say that she just thought it was cute enough....But first, let's just share our plan with Konoko first. Gauge her reaction before committing to the idea. If she approves, we can go ahead with getting cheer leading equipment with the aforementioned reason.
>>27177173I'd ruin her for marriage so hard her next few reincarnations would feel it.

>>27177125We've already made an antagonist. Let's set the wheels in motion and use him as much as we can to set up scenes. Hell, maybe he can have history with us and provide "shocking revelation" backstory details. In the meantime, Konoko, I'm sorry but this wasn't going to be a light sports comedy slice of life to begin with. I mean, Anon has heterochromia and a scar for plot's sake. He was going to twist the story to some chosen one bullshit from the start. Let's preempt him and pick out roles in a prophecy.
>>27177266What if we made Antagonist Anon's secret twin brother? And this is Highlander? And there can only be one? And it's the Antagonist who survives?
>>27177266One idea is to have the antagonist attack Anon-kuns home. (btw, where are his parents? He shouted "we're home" when we arrived) This can be easily set up here in the mall if we "notice ourselves being followed".
>>27177277Anon was probably talking to no one, or else Konoko would've mentioned why they weren't joining us for dinner. He's fuckin' batshit yo.
>>27177250I feel you man.
>>27177266Let's not argue with Konoko about that for now. Right now, we just need to share our plan for the sports meet.
>>27177285..Or the Antagonist is the parents. They're not home because THEY ARE PLOTTING THE DOWNFALL OF THEIR OWN CHILD... Or some such shenanigans.
>>27176258Twen, a question. Would the antagonist we brought into existence count as a non-sentient character? Was he an example of the kind of characters we can bring into existence?
>>27177307I am OK with this plan too.Their son must die, because he is the zambie goasts.
>>27177307How about this: Anon's father, or mother, worked in the lab we're from.
So how are we spinning the lab tale? I kinda want to make them less Evil Scientists and more Team Rocket
>>27177285We can create his parents. Konoko can make a mother, and we'll make the dad. It will also curb his hentai tendencies. Or at least complicate them.
"You wanted to do sports, right?"Konoko nods, "Yeah. Slice of life with sports. Kind of difficult with you though, running away from a lab.""Yes, remind me every other breath, that will certainly help us get to where we need to be," You stand up carefully, wobbling only a little, to stand in front of a mirror, and check yourself out. Yikes. These really do display your assets. You try to ignore this fact, and go on, "Look, Anon's going to put me in to school anyway, so we can steer this back to sports pretty darn easily."Konoko narrows her eyes at that, suspicious, "Anon will be way too interested in your lab stuff.""Look, we don't worry about that this arc, okay? This can be the set up arc! Mysterious new stranger meets plucky pair of friends, fish out of water experience, power of friendship, yadda yadda, and every once in a while the antagonist stares at us from the roof tops all ominous like.""That doesn't help me at all.""Not at all? Konoko, please," You walk up to her and point, "Three words for you. Sports. Martial. Arts."Konoko seems less than impressed."What.""My schtick is to be the mysterious helper girl from the sidelines- here we need cheerleading crap, oh look at that," You rummage in the background until a box with pom poms displays itself. You show it to Konoko, "I'm the support. I dance and cheer and sing from the sidelines for the plucky team mates, and transfer my ki to them in times of need. We discover this for some kind of playoff kind of thing, we pull through and win, you make it a moral lesson, we vow never to do it again, and THEN we bring it up when the bad guys attack, so we try to juggle our up and coming sports careers with protecting the city!"Konoko stares at you like you're explaining time cube. You roll your eyes, "Okay, Konoko, what sport do you play?""I, I, uh, I play soccer?" "You're guessing, you had no idea.""Shut up, you don't know your background either!""Whatever, doesn't matter. So, soccer, right?"
You lean in, grab her around the neck, and wave to an imaginary stadium, "The crowd is screaming! The score is 2-2, 40 seconds on the clock, you're dribbling down the court, you've got bases loaded, and you're about to score, when suddenly- BARITORZARD attacks- but we'll keep the world alignment up, so it doesn't immediately eat the crowd, but instead challenges you to the kicker to end all kickers!""You don't know much about sports, do you?""Shush. Look, the point is, everyone's happy! You keep on being the tomboy athlete, I'll be the cheerleader support, you and Anon come up with wacky attack names, and we'll both get more than enough attention from him."Konoko looks uncomfortably at you, as she pries herself out of your grip."It sounds retarded.""It sounds like a plot where we can all win," You step away from Konoko, spread your hands, "And...In the mean time, we could try to get enough juice to ditch Anon."That cinches it. Konoko walks away, thinking. "...Okay. Yeah, yeah, that could work," She points at you, rather rudely, "You have to get to the sports meet though. And get Anon-kun to go too." "Wait, won't he listen to you, you're his childhood friend? Actually, how long have you known him?"Konoko shakes her head, "It's, it's starting to fuzz together. Hell, I'm even starting to remember Konoko- the other, Konoko, Konoko Incognito-""He's an American exchange student, why's his little sister-""I DON'T KNOW. But anyway- if I had to guess, the only events I remember with him are meeting him at the airport, coming to my old manor, playing some kind of game trying to talk to the spirits of the deceased, it not working, him and I sharing a room, and me staring at him as he slept-""Gross.""Yeah, yeah, yeah, worked for him though...Then, me suggesting we go eat out, and meeting- you.""Eat at a diner, right?" You grin."How'd you know?""No reason.""Well. I got the plan. Anything else, or we skipping to school?>Your move.

>>27177349Ask Konoko about her being stronger than Anon-kun. Since Anon-kun went and got ki powers......does that mean she'll have to get some too?
>>27177439This brings up the question of what antagonists ARE in the meta-system. Are they like waifus, dependent on the protagonist to exist?
>>27177266>I mean, Anon has heterochromia and a scar for plot's sake. He was going to twist the story to some chosen one bullshit from the start.Yes, but let's not say that.

Woulnd't our plan to kill anon shift the tone way into the negative zone?
>>27177468We don't have to kill him dead. We can neutralize him in other ways, like resolving his character arc or shifting world focus to another character.

>>27177518>Yea, as previously stated we want to get to do things away from anon that don't deteriorate our position. Sports or cheerleading (yes, yes, it's a sport too, I know) would fit and not clash with Konoko's style too much.I wasn't saying whether or not we'd do it. I suggested it in the first place. I was just wondering if we could get the cheer leading equipment as part of the narrative, not as part of our meta-planning activities.
>>27177514We MAKE the story. If Anon introduces inconsistencies, we can fight them, and vice versa. Konoko has taken a far too passive role in this so far, maybe we should encourage her to take the reins. Constructing Anons parents with her should work well for this.
>>27177518Yeah, I thought about Lain as well. Come to think of it, the plot there is kinda similar.
>>27177531Yeah, we make the story.I think you misunderstood what I was saying.Since it was already established that Konoko is acknowledged to be stronger than Anon-kun (and it doesn't seem like this can really be brushed off as a joke, since Anon-kun let us go out with her because she's apparently strong enough to protect us), we need to keep the story consistent with these details.
>>27177547OH FUCK OH FUCK, we're part of an experiment /a/ is conducting to get to the 2D Universe.
"Nah, I think we're about done," You take the cheerleading crap under your arm, "And again, I'm sorry about the whole crap with the antagonist- but let me make it up to you."Konoko is still thinking. Still next to you. She eventually leans forward and sighs."I just wanted to have a slice of life sports story.""Yeah," You shrug, "My bad.""You're damn right it's your bad. But," Konoko looks up, chin in her hands, "I suppose this isn't so terrible. At least I'll have someone to talk to."You smile at that, "Friends?""Tentative friends," She reaches a hand over to you. Well, that was weird. Still, you let go of Konoko's hand, smile what is perhaps your first honest smile in a while. 5 more. "So, Konoko? Anon mentioned you were stronger than him?" I don't know- so far I haven't really gotten a chance to demonstrate it.""You should take advantage of that. Anon was talking about ki earlier- that could be an in. You could get the same powers as him."Konoko snorts, "No thank you. I am not going to be the first to get my ass kicked every time somebody comes knocking. I'll focus on sports right now," Konoko stays quiet, as the landscape around you blurs, and starts graying, "I mean, I guess- I guess though, maybe I should.""That's the spirit," You say happily, a spring in your step. >Next: To school!>Be back in a while. >>27177651>>27177684Well, from what has been revealed so far, even if you fade away from relevance, you can still return as a bit character.
>>27177654/a/ does NOT like people to forget the age old Lurk More. Since they're not obligated by any of the board rules to give out meaningful recommendations when posting they'll usually opt not to. You got to say though: If you can post on /a/ you can post pretty much anywhere else. It doesn't get much more vitriolic save for /v/, but why anyone would post on /v/ is another matter.
pleaaaase tell me twen has made a twitter account for this quest...will be busy week next week and i want to follow this live on my phone.
>>27177702He hasn't, but he can post the next time he'll start a thread here.

>>27177736That sounds a bit condescending.(not him).

>>27177791Motherfucker, you're right. I've become one of them. Guess time to visit the board more often, there is no going back for me.
so, if we're making this into magi-sports, what will the spinoff me?Magi-sport police officers?
>>27177829We could spin-off to concentrating solely on magical sports while Anon-kun could go and pursue his own interest of fighting for JUSTICE.
>>27177829Could be a Magic focused fighter starring us, could be a comedy 4koma about all the various waifus that are bound to show up eventually.Maybe an alt-universe kind of dealio where anon-kun never existed.
>>27177829We discover our inner power, get scouted into a team of pro magisport dudes (competitive dungeon crawling in the vein of NACL comes to mind) and tour the world. That, or silly lab shenanigans as we reconnect with our former tormentors and learn they weren't all that bad, really.

>>27177942>, the thread's in auto sageThat never stopped anyone.
Just saying, you /a/nons are okay.Bit rough round the edges but you seem way better than your reputation.
>>27177911Lets hold off on spawning Mysterious Goon for now. Don't want our reserve of points to get too low.

>>27177976Could we give that to the protag? then he'd spend whatever resource he has to investigate, and we wouldn't have to.
>>27177932>or do you want to enjoy life?Anything else would be the logic of a LOSER!!

>>27177958/a/'s a big place.Theres plenty of people there for whom the reputation is entirely deserved, unfortunately.
>>27178017Waifu Level 1.0 I believe is the first step.
>>27178017To act away from the protagonist. As we are now, we can only get blurry scenes. Konoko, however, was able to enjoy her time shopping at the mall. It's the difference between watching a video on Youtube at 120p and at 1020p.
>>27178025>It's the difference between watching a video on Youtube at 120p and at 1020p.Not quite. We fast forward through stuff as well. A better explanation would be us going into limbo when we're not near a plot point.
>>27178023>>27178025How does she have less then 1.00 waifu points then?
>>27178045She isn't wholly independent, that's the whole fucking problem she has with us.
>>27178045I guess once you pass 1.0 you get autonomy and you can lose points after that with no loss of autonomy? But then what happens when you get to 0?
>>27178045The implication is that 1.00 points isn't enough to be completely independent. It's just the starting line for it.
"Oh- one last thing-" You halt immediately outside of the clothing store, and gaze around at the rooftops, brows furrowed.Konoko stops, a little exasperated."Miko. What are you doing?""Shhh," You bring your arms around your shoulders and shiver, "I...Sense someone watching us.""Wait, why are you ramping up the paranoia-""Foreshadowing," You hiss.>Foreshadowing! 0.01 waifu point discount to Goon creation in future."...Never mind. It's gone now," You pick up your crap again, giving a final glance- yeah, you thought you saw something skulking up there."What? Why are you making-""It's good to plan ahead," You shrug, as again the environment starts to blur, in your undetailed travel back home, "Just- don't spread it around, okay? Somebody else might use this foreshadowing if we're not careful.""Yeah, yeah, okay," Konoko shakes her head, "You're weird.""Just proactive is all. I don't want to play second fiddle to the arch-cunt of doucheton. And neither do you."There's a strange pause, as you glance at Konoko, and raise an eyebrow. She's looking away from you."No. No, I suppose I don't."She sounds almost sad. Before you can press her though, you're back in the house. You blink. Did Konoko hurry that up? Or was it just your imagination?"Hey!" Anon comes around the corner, beaming, "Oh?" He raises an eyebrow at your new look. You blush, turn in on yourself, "I, well, Konoko- she, she was kind enough to...Do I look good?" You innocently ask, gritting your teeth in to a rictus smile. He looks you up and down. Swallows. Yeah, showing the assets was the smart thing.>am i cute uguu~ bonus. 0.05 waifu points gained. Total 0.35 waifu points earned."...I," Anon blushes, shakes his head, "Uh, yeah, you're good looking. That is to say, looking good. Yes. You've dressed well," He coughs, then points to the box with the pompoms hanging out of it, "Wait, what's that?""Oh, well," Konoko comes to the rescue again,
>>27178102>There's a strange pause, as you glance at Konoko, and raise an eyebrow. She's looking away from you.How fucking meta are we gonna go, Twen. How much meta is too much? There will never be enough
"She's gotta fit in, right? And I remember seeing that at the sports meet tomorrow, cheer club is looking for candidates, soooo," She claps her hand on your shoulder, causing you to jump, "I talked it over with her, and I think cheer club is going to love her!"Anon's doing his best not to smile."Oh, that's a good idea. Yes. Heh. Cheer uniform- did you already make sure it fits on her or-""Yeah, yeah we did-" That makes Konoko start. She looks a little uncomfortable, "Uh, while we're at it Anon- do you mind if we talk in private a bit?"Anon raises an eyebrow, then looks in the box. Sure enough, he spots the school uniform. His smile fades. He looks up at Konoko with a frown, "Oh."He nods, jerks his head to the right to signal for Konoko to follow, and without confirmation walks away. Konoko for her part sighs."Yeah. That's what I was afraid of. Still, probably not a BIG deal," She walks for the hall, a bit like a man going to death row, "I think I got this handled, 'Miko-chan.' See you at school.""Hang on Kono-"You're standing front of the school's gates. It's a fine day in spring. Cherry blossoms dance through the air in front of you, as school girls run past."-Ko. Son of a bitch."Nice looking place- surprisingly, actually looked like a western school. Big brick walls, large granite looking buildings carved with images of lions, and griffins, and other supernatural beasty gargoyles. A great big clock tower in the center of it all- and a wrought iron sign, hanging over the gate spelling in English what is spelled in Japanese to the side-"Penclosa Academy."You frown. These time skips were getting annoying."Come on Miko-chan!" Konoko shouts, grabbing you by the wrist, "We're going to be late! You too, Anon-kun!" Konoko shouts past you, to Anon-Kun jogging lazily after you.
1.0 is probably a mechanical representation of becoming eligible for merchandise. You can't be written out once the Chinese start churning out plastics of you and if the writer pushes you into the background there'll be blood in the streets.>>27177932>Is it good enough to just live, or do you want to enjoy life? We've put up with enough petty bullshit to deserve option two...>>27177958That's usually the case since reputations tend to be exaggerated.
>>27178117So how much longer are you planning to go, Twen? How much time left do we even have before we reach the bottom of the page? Not that I'm not up for more, I'm just worried of concluding this thread without a proper end.
>>27178102>looking away from you>sounds sort of sad>rushes the returnOhhhhhh shit.DRAMA detected.
>>27178132>How much time left do we even have before we reach the bottom of the page?1 hours 30 minutes if not more.
I vote that we also develop a phobia of something for no apparent goddamn reason and then later on tie it into our mysterious past. Maybe lightning (as the conduit by which divine beings enter the mortal plane)Perhaps our hidden backstory could be that we are a goddess summoned down to earth by the mysterious cult that then did something to drain our Divine Mantle and experiment on us to grant themselves powers. Then slowly tilt the story towards us regaining our powers so we can grant him boons. And then shift even further towards supernatural politics (dropping the cult off the face of the map as unimportant), with us acting as quest-giver/patron of Anon-kun and tilting fate in his favor. By that point we can drain him of his significance in the plot while also gaining power via prayers.
>>27178136Yeah, Konoko may only have memories of playing second fiddle to the main character and getting discarded easily....which may be why she chose to be the childhood friend in a steady slice-of-life genre?
Your first class is on the third floor, you're informed by a helpful form that you hadn't seen before. Outside the door to it, you, Konoko, and Anon must part ways. Anon seems very agitated, as the crowd of figures flow by."Don't worry too much," Konoko says with a smile, leading you up to the class, "I've gotten everything taken care of.""Her parents are kind of a big deal," Anon helpfully contributes, "But, I'm not in your class yet. Don't worry, I'll transfer in soon enough to help you."You mouth thank you to Konoko, as Anon strides off."Small favors, small favors. Remember! Sports meet, after school. On the field!"You nod, as she walks off. Right. You peek in to the class room. Usual classroom, people bantering- immediately whispering at the sight of you. Come on, red hair and violet eyes is god damn tame compared to Anon the wonder kid. You tamp down your frustrations, and aim for an open seat. None of these people are awakened- or even characters. Aside from maybe the teacher. Glasses, big tits, and a too short skirt. Aside from her though, none of the other kids were worth noting. Yet.But strangely, you sense the dark presence again. "Excuse me?" You blink up as the teacher looks at you, raising an eyebrow, "Uh, could you introduce yourself to the class, please?" She smiles nervously. Something strange about this teacher. You glance across the class room- they're all silent staring at you. Well. You're already at the front of the class. What do you do?>Your move.
>>27178132Doesn't 4chan support showing which page the thread is on natively now?
>>27178164Introduce ourselves as a transfer student.
>>27178164stutter, act nervous, then suddenly swing to assertive and imperious and then back to stuttering and nervous
>>27178132I have lost control of my life. I don't know.Probably just gotta get to the stopping point here- which may be anywhere between one and ten posts depending on your actions.
>>27178177Oh, what can I do to display that?
>>271780450.20 is probably how many she's willing to contribute to us.>>27178179Not really much other way we can run this. I'd be worried about it tipping people off about our sentience if we didn't have red hair and violet eyes>>27178192Why?
>>27178204Well, this seems like a good point to stop. Just one more action and end with something OMINOUS.Don't forget to give us the date and time for the next thread too!
>>27178148To expand on this: we could make things kind of hilarious with divine politics being expressed through massively over the top sports matches ala King of Tennis and popularity=prayer=power
>>27178209Unique characters are either sentient or people created by sentient characters to act as their personal plot points. At least, this is what I understood from the explanations given.
>>27178164Shit. We can't just suddenly change our "name". Guess we'll have to introduce ourselves by telling them to call us Miko.
>>27178209to drop a plot hook and imply there's more hiding behind the wall of amnesia than just memories(and for metagaming anon-kun to think that our secret identity means that romancing us is a way to power when we remember)
>>27178164I'm not sure why we're still acting. Are we on display in some way? Could the presence be anon spying on us? That'd fucking suck.Introduce ourselves as normally as we can, find a seat near the window so we can gaze out longingly. We might be able to spot anon in the yard or another classroom, and get some waifu points from waving at him or something.
>>27178231I don't see how the stuttering and shyness implies that. Explain your thoughts.
>>27178206Settings > Preset > Advanced.[739 replies] [60 images] [Page 8]
>>27178232>I'm not sure why we're still acting. We're putting on a show. And instead of waving, we could shyly smile at him. SET HIS HEART AFLUTTER!
>>27178222Yes, I mean we're pretty obvious as it is, so standing out more? Not gonna change much.>>27178228That's a good point. We also should probably make up some interests real quick. >>27178232>Could the presence be anon spying on us? That'd fucking suck.If it is him or an ally he might know more than we'd like about our arrangements with Konoko. Can't rule it out, so let's be more careful when discussing stuff in future.>>27178244Anon isn't here
>>27178164Whisper our name. Our "real" name. Say something about how we're happy to be here, and we're transferring from abroad so we don't know much about stuff, but we're looking forward to yada yada you know the rest.Shuffle feet awkwardly. Sit next to someone, see if they get characterized.I still want it to be Naya.
Okay, standard introduction to the class. Mention transfer student. Bullshit some interests. See if you can see Anon-kun out in the courtyard.
>>27178273>>27178249There are still people who didn't know this? Wow.
>>27178259>Anon isn't hereBut whatever being who watches us is.We're following the story for the sake of it. We want to LIVE, and living in this universe seems to be acting out as characters you want to be. For now, we're forced to mold ourselves into whatever Anon-kun wants, but it seems like we have an innate desire to be characters in our own story.>>27178275Maybe say we have an interest in trying out for the cheering club.
>>27178275Mention wanting to try out for the cheerleading team. Might as well state it as a genuine interest if we're going to do it.
>>27178280How is this information even disseminated? I just go here to talk to people; I barely look at any announcements.
Crazy theory time: This is all actually Konoko's gig. She created a new protagonist in an attempt to cheat the game, that's how she's autonomous. But it didn't quite work right, and her new story got it's own memetic viruses, namely us.It's in her best interests to align all lost memes with her cause, so she can use our waifu points to ascend out of this humdrum hell.
>>27178292I think another interest would be good too. Something innocuous like reading or gardening>>27178280>>27178293I didn't know either - I've been browsing with pretty much vanilla settings.
>>27178280i have been on 4chan for 4 years and i just recently saw that information now.2lazy4me
>>27178321We can't really have any interests, though, since we have amnesia. We can "discover" them over time, however.
>>27178317This makes way too much sense, but you might be reading just a little bit much into Konoko's silence earlier.
>>27178317Interesting theory, but Konoko has consistently shown herself to be a bit bull-headed and naive about the narrative, "behind-the-curtain" aspects of the system.Or maybe she's just faking that. Hard to tell, but if she is, then she's a goddamn mastermind. One we are aspiring to become. On the other hand, a lot of story twists by us and Anon don't align with her interests, like the dead sister thing.
>>27178355She is the dead sister.or somethingI'm bad at this
>>27178317>>27178337we should just ask her point blank how much waifu points she got.what could go wrong?
