Sup /tg/.It's been a while since we had one of these threads and I wanted to share a little project I just finished.Other than that, this thread is about all /tg/ related arts and crafts. LARP costumes, dicebags, dicetowers, gaming tables, props, maps. etc.Share your projects and ideas, ask for advice and show off your work!Anyway, today Esh will mod a badly painted nerf maverickI used a screwdriver, dremel, soldering iron, wire, glue, high powered LEDs, a switch and some pennies.
First off, disassemble the gun. Make sure to remember how to put it back together again
>Eshy mods a MaverickThread of the week.>high-powered LEDsMake that thread of the month!
>>26989087I used a 3V button battery holder for this project, since it's amall enough to just attach to the side of the gun, giving you access to the battery.I put it above the grip. If you choose this location, too, make sure it's not on the same side as your trigger finger. Mark where it's contacts will go into the gun
>>26989137Drill holes where you just put the marks.Put the case aside for now, to fix a glaring design flaw of the maverik, the derpy drum.dremel off the two little nubs on the back and the large bar on it's front which hold the drum back. This way the drum will be able to flip out all the way
>>26989227ok. Having fixed that, solder wires to your battery case. Make the wires pretty long, it's better to trim them later than having not enough.Add some shrinking tube to reinforce the soldering
>>26989065Yay, Esh-Esh-thread!I hate being a German who works 'regular hours', because I can almost never participate in these threads.Naja, immerhin ist das Ganze ja morgen früh immer noch auf foolz zu sehen. Gute Nacht-bump.
>>26989263Next solder two (or more) of the LEDs together like this. Use your dremel to drill holes underneath the barrel of the gun, big enough for the LEDs to fit through.
>>26989294ni ni>>26989296ok, now use your dremel to carefully drill out all the little supporting struts underneath the barrel. That's where the wires will go
>>26989294sleeping is overrated
>>26989325Put the wires of your battery through the holes you made and glue the case to the outside of the gun. Instant glue and hot glue both work very well for this
>>26989350Solder one of the wires to the switch and another third wire as well. Dremel out a square in the size of your switch in front of the trigger and glue the switch in. This way you can easily use your trigger finger to switch the lights on and off
Didn't you make a holster for that thing too?Oh yes you did.
>>26989400Solder the two wires coming off of the switch to the LEDs. Make sure the polarity is correct. Unlike regular bulbs, LEDs only work with the right polarity.I used a little bit of self hardening polymer clay to hold the LEDs in place, but hot glue will work as well. Hide the wires in the canal we dremeled out earlier
>>26989459With that being done, glue 2-4 pennies together and put them behind the spring. This will restrict the spring, giving it a bigger punch and giving the gun a nice, metallic CLING sound with every shot.Dont overdo it, or you wont be able to cock it anymore.
>>26989508Reassemble everything and VOILÁ! You installed some simple mods in your maverick!Have fun LARPing, or at your next Nerf-War
>>26989558Operators operating operational operations
>>26989589Ab heute wird nur noch mit Operationsbesteck gegessen. You need to make yourself an operator beard.
That's been all the interesting new things I made lately...Judging from the last few giveaways, there seem to be a lot of newer people around. Should I repeat all the old tips and tricks I told /tg/ before, or is no one interested?>>26989510>hesitate to put those pictures on my websites>boyfriend posts them on 4chanThey will never go away again...
>>26989667Yes Please... Also, Card Holster from your last thread, please say that is going to become a real thing. Please.
>>26989693I will likely at least make a prototype, yes
>>26989087>Make sure to remember how to put it back together againThis is the most important step to disassembling anything.
>>26989667Why would you want them?I mean, okay, you might not want to go twisting your body like that in a tight top but otherwise nothing to be ashamed about. As opposed to that thing with the bath tub.
>>26989667>repeat all the old tips and tricksGo for it. Or put it up in a pastebin or something to preserve for future use, I dunno.
Neato thread, thank you! Don't think I'll be modding my sole Maverick (aside from the spring stretch I've already done), but it's neat to see what you've done for yours.I've been seriously considering making a couple of dice towers out of Lego - one made to look like a castle tower, and one made to look like a rocket or something. But I don't actually have any projects in the works at the moment lol
>>26989749What's shameful about taking a bath?
>>26989667Considering you posted the hand yourself, what are you complaining about?
>>26989754>>26989693ok then, lets do a classic first."aged" paper.Just put regular printer paper into either black tea, or coffee.Coffe is quicker and gives a more even color, while tea usually takes a few hours, but gives interesting shapes and shades. If you iron the dried sheets, you can even use them in an inkjet printer.Personally, I prefer the tea method.
>>26989799Well a hand is on another level in my book.>>26989779Dicetowers out of Lego work pretty well, especially since you can make them as big as possible.I'd suggest glueing some parts together to give it more stability. Nothing sucks more than accidentally knocking it off the table and having lego everywhere and no more tower.
>>26989812I've tried this, but the paper always stick to the bottom of the pan of coffee and fall apart.
>>26989842find a big container where the sheats fit in without bending. Put a small oven rack on its bottom to prevent sticking. Also use high grade printer paper. It is very robust
>>26989833That hand is definitely on another level than normal fully clothed project modelling shots.
>>26989859oh also dont use hot tea, or coffee. Let it cool down first
>>26989812That always looks so fake...
Esh Esh out for a night on the town in germany land
Get a big bag of decorative pebbles from any arts 'n' crafts store and use permanent markers to create really cheap, but robust and heavy game tokens
Another little project from way back.A magical crystal prop. You'll need any sort of container (I used one of those cheap wooden chests you can get at michaels, etc ). Color changing LEDs. Either the flashing, or shifting ones, both work well. I prefer the ones that gradually shift the colors, since it looks more magical. Soldering tools, battery case, switch and some sort of crystal. I used selenite, but in a pinch a few glued together shards of clear PVC will do as well
>>26989833They are actually far more biometrically significant than a denim-clad behind. Not quite the same level of arousing, but technically far more personal.>>26989878An unassuming seamstress by day, zis voman prowls zee night on soft paws. >>26989949I wanted it to be able to switch between rainbow colors and plain white, so I used 2 switches and 2 kinds of LEDs, but you can use whatever color(s) you want.Mark where the crystal is going to go and drill holes in the box
>>26989974Solder a simple circuit to power the LEDs. If you want to use just one color, do it like in the maverick. If you want to be able to switch between two colors, I'll post a derpy schematic next
>>26990001I hope this makes sense
>>26990007paint your container~
>>26989859>>26989842>>26989812i just wipe paper with a wet teabag, always worked fine for me.
>>26990021put the electronics in the box. LEDs in the holes and glued shut with hot glue.I didnt care that you could see the switches and wanted quick access so I drilled out holes for them. For an actual prop, just hiding the switches inside the box works just fine
Let there be light!
>>26990043Glue on the crystal with hot glue and you are done!Enjoy the lightshow
>>26990061I recommend using at least 4 color shifting LEDs. They never sync up perfectly so their different colors will mix inside the crystal and give you all the colors off the rainbow
>>26990054that's legit actually really cool. would love to know what you used for the light bar
>>26990092Selenite Crystals I think, and super bright LEDs

>>26990054>>26990076oh boy the very first one I ever made>>26990092I used LEDs with a selenite crystal. Selenite is basically crystalline gypsum. It has amazing light spreading qualities
>>26990119where do you get stuff like Selenite? Some online mineral store?God I wish I had a reason to buy the alchemist's set of stuff you've made :<
>>26990119current, better version. You can do a lot of great prop work with simple LEDs
>>26990165>>26990142Comes in Red too.
>>26990142I buy it directly from a swiss quarry. by far the cheapest way to get it. Look around the web for mineral quarry companies near you. Retailers, even online, usually sell any minerals at a ridiculous mark up, because all the new age idiots have way too much money

>>26989870How would you do it?
Another great idea for a prop using crystals and LEDs.Drill out a bit on top of any staff and glue the LED circuit in. Add a crystal with hot glue. Add little wooden dowels to the sides of the crystal and glue them on too, to reinforce it all.Now mix paper mache with fabric starch and a little bit of wood glue and form a smooth transition between the staff and crystal, hiding the glue and electronics. Paint the paper mache once it's dry to make it look natural. You can cover the batteries with s strip of leather
>>26990340How would you get effective weathering on something like that. >>26990348So much this.
>>26990349>1215+798>Not buying one of the four original copies of the magna carta, scraping the ink off and writing on it in iron-gall ink and burying it for five years prior to a game to produce a realistic prop on 800-year-old paperFucking casuals
>>26990349wait 100 years.
>>26990379which brings me to another tip:When mixing up paper mache, dont use water, but fabric starch mix. The resulting paper mache will be as hard as wood, making for much sturdier props

>>26990379A friend of mine is looking to make a sort of magitech glove for a character in the future, the selenite's probably gonna be useful for that. Thanks for the advice.
>>26990406Yeah. just use paper produced prior to 1914.Preferably with Kaiser's water-mark.
>>26990349The best way would be to disintegrate it (in water, using bits of coarse-grain sand paper wrapped in wood if needed) then color it as a slurry (mixing to get thorough coloration so it'll look like paper subject to actual tanning) then reconstitute it in the usual way with a wire mesh on a wooden frame.
>>26990442if you use selenite, make sure to coat it with semi-matte, weatherproof varnish. The crystall will survive a lot longer that way
>>26990329What tools would I need to be a leathersmith/lightsmith like you?

Hey Esh-Esh, do you have a site or blog or something where you put tutorials? Because if not you should, because these are great and need to be preserved somewhere for a time when I actually have the right materials.

Hell after this thread i want to go make something. The same effect as this video.
>>26990657>Look here! I made this using old.Is he a comedian?
>>26990627It's maybe a couple hours. Not much more than getting the tea going anyway. The hardest part is probably assembling the wood frame, which is just gluing it together and stapling the wire mesh on, and only needs to be done once if you want all your paper the same size anyway. Not that I'd be doing this anyway if I didn't think I could sell it. It's not like my players really appreciate it.
>>26990625But I WANT this thing to break off inside a new age idiot's ass, to punish them for their stupidity and for encouraging quacks and conmen.
>>26990622This honestly reminds me of my fucking art class. The interaction would be missing on a blog or similar site, but it would be permanent and easy to refer to...
>>26990691>Look here! I made this using matter.I like this better.
>>26990705You are omitting the walls of drying racks you need and the humidity it puts in the air. It's a huge mess and everything is delicate to handle.
An old trick with seamstresses, but so far not yet harnessed a lot by the TG community. Just sew pockets to your table cloth. You will never search for your dice again, AND you have something to put your snacks and drinks
>>26990732I put my snacks and drinks in my belly, thank you very much.
>>26990713>"A rock carved by an ignorant barbaric people"I guess all that proves is your own ignorance. Fuckers invented zero when europeans failed that on their own among some things, and a pretty damn accurate calendar. The barbaric part can stand though.
>>26990724Seconding this, it would be really neat to have all these tutorials in one place, and not having to hope someone archived everything. Would make it easier to find exactly the tutorial you're looking for, too.

Copy-pasting some tutorial I gave earlier. How to make a plague doctor mask for your LARP costume:-get medical plaster strips (the ones with the fabric base).-liberally grease up your face with vaseline (no really)-grab your buddy, or sweetheart and let them apply the wet strips to your face to make a basic mask. Leave out the eyes and nostrils, obviously.- once the mask is dry, take it off and straighten the edges with a good pair of scissors.-now take a styrofoam cone. You can get them at any art supply store. It will become the base of your beak.-cut the cone in two from it's tip to the base. Make the cut a bit off center.-cut out a triangular piece out of both halves and hot glue them back together to give the beak a down turn-Hot glue the two pieces back together, but slide the smaller half back a little to have the lower jaw shorter.-cut a piece out of the base of the cone where your nose and mouth will be. Also cut nostrils into it, they will make breathing much easier.-hot glue the cone to the mask-take tin foil, wrap it up and form the basic features of the mask (eyebrows, cheeks, etc) with it. Hot glue.everything in place-take more of the plaster strips and cover the mask, forming its features and safely securing the beak to the base mask.-once it is dry, cover it with either paper mache, or regular plaster, both works.-once THAT is dry, sandpaper it carefully-paint your mask to your liking-cut out a fitting piece of soft fabric and hot glue it on the inside. This will make wearing it MUCH more comfy-add decorations-drill holes into the sides and attach straps to it
>>26990856>???????????That part is probably: Your table looks like shit becasue you put a fucking wax table cloth on it, you idiot!
>>26990912matter of taste.
>>26990932Are you a kindergarten teacher or a parent to very small children? Because those are the only people who use wax table cloth.
>>26989812To add onto this method, you can also make a more envelope based paper to wrap letters in with the same method, just using a balsamic vinegar to cure the paper.Only downside is it does smell a bit. Adding a little something to the mixture to tame the vinegar smell isn't a bad idea so long as it's not very acidic. Then you can make your own wax seal stamps in a variety of methods. Since I make a few different stamps, it'd be too expensive to make actual metal custom stamps.Instead I take a piece of plaster with a smooth surface, scratch out the design, and make a stamp out of air-dry clay. You'll just need to make sure you apply something to stop the wax from sticking to it and creating the necessary moisture barrier.
>>26990717It is illegal to claim it has any kind of medical value. You can pretend it has all the pseudo-scientific bullshit spiritual healing value you want though, because technically that can't be disproved. Why do you think those assholes who slap cancer patients in the face while screaming about the Lord don't all get thrown in the slammer?
hm... I am running out of ideas of what to post.uh.... when sewing a garment, always press the seams?
>>26990989I don't actually use anything on my table. but when I was a child my grandparents would come over at bake Christmas biscuits with me. we used a wax tablecloth on the table. that is why I suggest it.
>>26990848Actually. It does.
>>26989812i prefer vat paper.especially popular on polish larps, it doesn't need to be artifically "aged" to look convincing.also, burning the cedges of paper is basic, but pretty nice technique. One of best experiences when playing a mage (necromancer), for me was getting my hands on partially burned/hard to decipher spell, that i needed to cast without earlier preparation. The sum offered was good, and i had a chance to resurrect long fallen comrades. Me and mystic i worked with, managed to ressurect two of them, and bring the third one as a host for a demon that wandered by.
>>26991037If you know how to, and have a tutorial for us, could you post something about making replica swords, and other sundry weapons?
You can also use a high speed belt sander to edge and shape glass if you use glass coolant infused water. Always wear gloves and a mask, and do not use tempered glass for this purpose as it will shatter (which is what it was designed to do).
>>26991037>press the seamsDo you mean iron? What are you talking about?
>>26990732>rolling and writing on tablecloth
>>26991059I dont really have any meaningfull info about that, sorry.>>26991063basically, yes. Pressing seams is the name for a sewing technique to sort of hide the seams, by ironing them in a special way
>>26991098Care to give an example?
>>26991098>a sewing technique to sort of hide the seamsPlease elaborate. Seriously, I'm sewing a wallet right now and I have been experimenting with ironing seams before sewing.
>>26990856That shouldn't be fucking necessary. Do you use a waterproof sheet on a bed when you have guests over so their piss won't get in the mattress? Guests ought to act like adults, and treating them as though they're not is every bit as much of an insult to them as it is to you if they don't act as adults.
>>26991056A lot of hand-made papers though can be a pain to write on (especially fancy scripture), rule on, etc.Aged paper gives the look but mostly retains the feel (unless you crinkle it up intentionally).
>>26991117>>26991132I tried my best...Basically, you press the seam against a hard surface (a wooden dowel works very well) and iron it flat. From far, it looks like there isnt any stitching present at all
>>26991056shit, forgot picturehere you go, /tg/
>>26991152if I think they are gonna pee in the bed, then I do.
>>26991188that does look very good
>>26991186Interesting thanks. If I were to go about sewing my own clothes, like old fashioned shirts, would it be better to do it on a sewing machine, or with a needle and thread?
>>26991188>speckles everywhere>edges untrimmedHave some fucking pride in your work, damn.
>>26991188looks like recycledpaper paper
>>26991198That's basically also what you get from >>26990450Except without the speckles. Don't know what causes that.
>>26991046And do you know why you only used it when you were baking tons of stuff?Because they look horrible! It's like permanently covering your sofa in plastic.>>26991059For LARP-grade weapons, just buy them from an online shop. The sheer amount of time and effort you need to invest before you can produce satisfying and safe weapons is just too high.
>>26991206Needle and thread is what you use when you don't own a sewing machine or can't use it. Unless you're fixing small things or sewing buttons, you should always use a sewing machine when possible. Way faster.
>>26991186Ah, cool.>>26991206>sewing machine, or with a needle and threadMachine, are you kidding. If you want that handmade look you can add a seam over the one that holds by hand to finish it, but it's a pain. Hand sewing a shirt would take you a long day or two if you knew what you were doing. My granny does, she's a learned seamstress.
>>26991206sewing machine... always sewing machine. There is a reason we invented them. If you are a beginner, dont get tempted to buy a super fancy one either. A 100$ workhorse is a much better investment to start out. All it needs to make most things is a straigh and a zig-zag stitch. Maybe an overlock stitch...
>>26991152so if you come into a strangers home and they use a wax table cloth, you would assume it's an insult?
>>26991210>bitching about specklesDude, texture is what gives handmade paper its charm. If it's all one uniform tone, it just looks like weirdly colored copy paper. I don't know if you've ever seen monotone brown copy paper, but it's ugly as sin.As for the edges, it's more useful to the end user untrimmed. They can trim it if they please; but if you trim it and their project calls for untrimmed edges, they're pretty well fucked.
>>26991239>>26991241>>26991247Many thanks for the advice.
>>26991206Now, I like doing things the old fashioned way as much as the next buy but stitching by hand is such a fucking hassle and it's not better than the machine - it's only on par with the machine if you're very skilled and otherwise it's worse.
>>26991224>The sheer amount of time and effortYou buy a base rod, foam, and latex from an online store and shape your weapon. Then you layer latex paint on it. Those base rods can't hurt anybody. Just don't use wood or metal, or hard plastic.
>>26991261Well, I wouldn't be in a stranger's home because I'm neither a burgler not a Jehovah's Witness. But if someone I h ad met recently invited me into their home where they had spread a wax tablecloth, and they didn't have small children, then I would think that was very weird and I would suspect it to be an insult.

>>26991390Ah, but that's where they get you. They make you THINK it's just the box that you need. Really you need the spiritual transducer, AKA the stool. Only 12 easy payments of $55.50.
>>26991413I don't know if we used that exact recipe before, but our group has made 'mug brownies' and they came out OK.Also, Esh-Esh, would I be able to comission a nerf gun holster AND a modded nerf gun from you? Hypothetically, of course, as I'm broke as shit right now.
>>26991412THE BOX IS SHREK
>>26991367I want to try this with mozzarella cheese
>>26991059are you looking for wooden weapons, foam weapons or...?
>>26991396>that PDF>"cook food" in two pages and blackletterWhy?
>>26991413ok, I'll just copy-paste stuff."Dr Pepper and Honey Roast"-pork roast (I used a hams cut, because I am a pussy when it comes to fat, but a more fatty cut works better) about two pounds-1 liter of Dr Pepper. Again, NEVER use diet for cooking.-honey.-vegetable soup powder-worchester sauce-garlic-onion-parsley-carrots-parsley root (be really careful with this one. The flavour works really well with dr pepper but it easily overpoweres everything else. About 2/3rds of an inch should be ok)-pepper-congnac-creme freche, or regular creme
>>26991413I know there's one that is, but it's typically posted side-by-side with a screencap that basically says, "THIS IS A RECIPE NOT FOR BROWNIES BUT FIRE".Also the bad one's fairly obvious. It's like 50% flour or some shit, with no milk or oil or eggs or anything.
>>26991413How the fuck could those ingredients explode?

>>26991517Put a little bit of vegetable oil into a big pot and preheat on high heat.Sear the roast in it on all sides. once you can't see any raw meat anymore, put it off the heat
>>26991473>Why?Not getting shit done just yet.
>>26991484Im thinking more catch fire.massively Captcha>contains eiyutesare they flammable?
>>26991413just make sure the mug is microwave safe, and you don't over cook it, that can lead to explosions, small ones, but still explosions.
>>26991541roughly cut up all your veggies
>>26991568it almost looks better half raw....
>>26991568Oh, dear, peel your parsley root. They grow that in pig manure.
>>26991568>veggies, and not more meat or failing that some metal.
>>26991583Pour in the dr pepper and half a liter of water.Add a good bit of the soup powder, maybe 4-5 tablespoons, a generous dash of worchester sauce, and the rest of the spices. The roast has to be covered in liquid. If you like it sweet, add some more honey. If you are more of the savoury type, add a teaspoon of cinnamon and a good dash of tabasco, or chopped peppers
>>26991598Vegetables are great, what are you on about.
>>26991590eh I washed it all...>>26991606Cover the pot and bring it to a boil. Once it boils, put the heat on low and let it simmer for 2 hours (or roughly one hour per pound of meat).Turn the roast once after one hour.
>>26991466BOX IS MURDER
>>26991615Doesn't it look grand?from here, there are two ways to eat it. Either serve as a whole and slice into meal sized chunks.Or pull the meat apart into tiny bits and eat those. Perfect for sandwiches! But we are not done yet!

>>26991665>Thickening with corn starch, not Maggi Fix.Marry me.
>>26991296Yes, but if you don't know what you're doing you'll end up with a weapon that, while it'd pass the safety checks at any big larp event, would look a bit crap.I'd rather pay someone who's good at making nice looking larp weapons to get a nice looking one than make it myself, because I do not have the time to devote to making dozens of weapons to get good at making them look nice. The cheapest place to get them (near here, anyway) is to get them at the aforementioned big larp events, rather than online. One, you avoid shipping fees. Two, you get to pick up and swing the weapon yourself and see if you like the weighting. Three, it's often cheaper, especially if it's near the end of an event when they're looking to move a bit more stock. Also, you get to participate in whatever event it was. Mass battles are not a thing I do all the time, but they're very fun.
>>26991669But no German would willingly eat vegetables.
>>26991689>>26991679sheesh, you cant really eat them anymore at this point. You can grind them up and add them to the sauce, but honestly I dont think it gets much better that way

>>26991507wood:for wood, the simplest way to make a decent looking weapon is to find a plank of a hickory, oak or maple with no knots along where you plan the sword, then with a pencil trace out your sword, excluding the pommel or cross guard unless you aren't worried about how strong the guard will be, in which case draw 'em on, once you're happy, trace the final sketch in sharpie. then use a jig saw to cut out the sword. if the sword is all one piece, take a sander (belt/rotary) and smooth out the grip, pommel and guard, then use a belt sander or some sandpaper and your hand and sand the blade to shape. if you wanted a stronger guard, you'll trace the pommel and guard on an unused piece of your wood and cut them out now as well. use a sander (belt, rotary or by hand, and round the grip, use a hole drill or the jig saw to cut out the middle of your guard and slide it on, you want it to fit snugly, but slide smooth, take it off, and spread 5 minute epoxy around where you want it, then slide it on a final time. wipe off excess epoxy quickly, attach the pommel though epoxy as well. then sand the blade and sword to preferenceuse a wood finish on the completed sword, to make it look nice and last longerfor a leather grip: http://www.sword-manufacturers-guide.com/how-to-wrap-a-sword-hilt.html
>>26991776Oh, right. I'll probably cook this without the Dr Pepper.
>>26991689Because she has a cat and not a dog. Dog owners have a leftover seeking pet and veggies can't hurt, just easy on the chili and salt after straining.
>>26991815as if my dog would even fucking touch vegetables. fucking Dachshund man, they are so picky.
The most /tg/ thing I have eaten recently?Wild boar sausages, honey-roast vegetables and mead.I love it when the butcher gets boar in. So fucking good. You think pig tastes good? Boar is like pig, but more so.Good mead is a great drink. Not an everyday drink, by far. I'd reccomend Moniack - it's the best brand I've found, and the pagans I know swear by it (literally) rather than various other brands. You can also make it fairly easily yourself, but the quality will vary.
>>26991507foam:I'm going to be lazy with this one and just link to a wiki with plenty of builds, use these to start and experiment after you've made a couple of decent basic weapons to find nicer looking, better suited weapons: http://www.geddon.org/index.php/Category:How_to_buildstick to the basics, when you start, a good arming or longsword will be far more useful than trying for a glaive or sputum right a way
>>26991705Where's the starch?
"Chicken in Cola Sauce"You will need:-Chicken breast-Coke (NOT diet!)-Ketchup-BBQ-sauce-Something that's sweet and sour. I used cranberry sirup-Some parsley, salt, pepper, rosemary and whatever else strikes your fancy- cut your chicken into bite sized bits - mix 1/3rd of a cup each of the coke, BBQ-sauce and ketchup. Add a nice dash of the sirup and add the spices. -put the meat into a small casserolle. I covered them with powdered parmesano cheese, but it really didn't do anything, so you can skip this step. A more fatty, melty cheese might work better - cover the meat with the sauce and put it into a preheated oven at 180°C (figure out yourself what that's in °F) and bake for about 40 minutes - Cook noodles in the meantime -Take out the meat and cover the noodles with the sauce.enjoy <3

"Rocky Mountain Sweet Slices"What you'll need:-Frosted cornflakes (I used some that also have some nuts in them)-Marshmallows-Honey-Butter-Cinnamon - weigh off 3.5oz (~100g) of the marshmellows and 2 cups of cornflakes - melt some butter in a pan over low heat - Throw in the marshmellows and stir until they are completely melted. Be careful not to burn them - Once they are completely melted, add maybe 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Stir in - gradually add the cornflakes under constant stirring. Be careful not to grind the flakes up, though. You still want them to be crunchy -Once properly mixed, pour the whole mass onto a sheat of aluminum foil, or baking parchment. ADD A THIN COAT OF NON STICK SPRAY! trust me on this.Quickly spread it into a ~1/2inch thick sheat, before it cools. - Once everything is cooled down, use a pizza cutter to cut it into little squares.ENJOY!Makes perfect gaming night snacks
>>26991926Because the Coca Cola Company has a PR department?I was intrigued by it and have experimented with it. And I don't like it. It makes meat dry. For poultry a gook buttermilk dressing that soaks for a few hours does wonders. Coke just makes it chewy. Pork is content in its juices for hours. And beef just shrivels up in cola. I'm sticking to wine, soup, fats, spices, and the occasional orange peel.
>>26991989*good Not sure if gooks use buttermilk, or if they like being called that.
>>26991989>>26992011buttermilk and poultry go really well together.I like to marinade chicken over night in buttermilk, before breading and frying it
>>26991866here are some wooden weapons I made for an 8 year old and a trio of weeaboos, the designs I'm not proud of, but the pay made up for it.
>>26992058Those are looking pretty well made.I miss having the school workshop at my disposal at any time ;__;They eventually even gave me a key to it, because I spent so much time there.
>>26992058The only weird design is the centre one, I hope mine turn out that well.
>>26992090I know the pain of losing a good workshop, my grandfather was a carpenter and had an old barn he'd turned into a workshop, I made some beautiful pieces there. now i just have a jig saw, rotary sander and elbow grease for power tools>better picture of the scimitars
>>269922148/10 would beat my children with.
layered potions!Take three seperate cups of water and add different food dyes to each.Ad sugar to the first cup until no more will desolve in it.Put half that much sugar into the second bowl and half of THAT into the third. Carefully pour the three liquids into a bottle, starting with the most sugar, then medium, then least.excessive shaking will ruin the effect so be careful.Alternatively, use alcohol, instead of sugar
>>26992119the katanas are 6 feet long. and yea, the center one is weird. the trick is patience, make sure the sketch is right before cutting, and be slow with the cutting, especially on the straights if using a jigsaw.and don't try to sand the blade down in a couple of passes, I'd easily spend an hour or so sanding down the blades so that they'd be smooth, if you press too hard with a belt sander you'll make a deep groove that fucks up the shape.on a semi-related note, some foam weapons I've made. not using silver ductape goes a long way as far as looking decent goes excuse, some of them (especially the far right) as ductape is my quick fix for when something comes lose until I can get it back in the shop.
>>26992237the best part? the wood is white pine, so it crushes rather than splinters so it doesn't cause as many splinters for the police/social workers to find!

>>26992581>>26992622Save them for the apocalypse.Caps will be dollars. Pop tabs will be half dollars. Colored or unusual ones (like the redbull tabs with the little logo marked in them) may be negotiable for additional cost.Other than that.. I have no idea, but I've gotten into the habit of obsessively saving them as well.
>>26992581I would say "google that shit" but I'm certain you've gotten poor results at best.I'd say melt it down, because commercial aluminum is babby tier for DIY casting, but whatever you'd get would be so small as to not be worth the effort.
