You are a Magical Girl, and you're in the most pleasant dream you've ever been in so far.Sure, you're in what could very well be in a strange girl's bedroom. A girl that had sliced your throat open before, just as you yourself blew her face out the back of her skull. The gigantic Grief Seed of the most powerful and most bloodthirsty Witch in eternity hovering in the night sky outside like some sort of spiked disco ball. Big enough to eclipse the moon, while the city you've lived your entire life in burned in an endless inferno below it.But hey, you're comfortable for once, not in the immediate threat of mortal peril or going completely insane. The girl doesn't seem to have her knife anywhere near her, and is allowing you to grasp a handful of the softest part of her body without said knife being involved. And she does look like she's okay with it....It's not the kind of dream you'd write in a diary, but it sure beats the usual kind. The kind where you get your heart torn out because of a really bad breakup.
>>26578684You share your exact sentiments about the dream with the strange girl. It's a pretty nice one, where no one is trying to kill you - so yes, you're okay with it. You wish that you could have more of this kind of dream."..Nnnh. I'm...I'm sure you do." Wendy murmurs after a moment, her cheeks positively red now, her breaths becoming quick, feathery. "You...you never did this...back then. Never really...focused on that place..." She ducks her head down again, into her arms this time, the open manga in front of her all but forgotten. "...What...what's up with you suddenly being like this, Kong...?"...Well. Maybe you'd better stop. It's already difficult on your end to hold up a conversation, no need to make it hard for her too.In...in any case, did Wendy need you for something? If you're both in the same dream again, then does she have something to tell you or what?"I...I don't know if it works that way." The girl slowly manages to recover from what you've subjected her to. "I mean, the first time, maybe I wanted to talk to you, but--"But...what? What's changed, now?"I don't know." Wendy murmurs, not looking at you. "I went to bed just like I always do. Wasn't even...wasn't even thinking of you. Too busy with work." She gestures to the wig. "Work...stuff." She adds, somewhat lamely, before finally managing to re-establish eye contact with you. Her cheeks still red.Huh. Well. Does this kind of thing happen with with her and other people, too?"...No. Just with you." She shakes her head. "...Sorry. Must be annoying, huh?" You'd probably say yes, if not for the fact that this is still...kind of nice. Moreso after what happened with Sayaka, anyway. [1/2]
>>26578694You're a bit surprised that you actually still care about that, when back then pissing the blue-haired Eversor off was something that just happened, something you just took in stride."Mickey? What'd she do?" Wendy blinks at you. "You got into another fight with her again?"Another? Did...does Wendy know about the two of you?"We heard enough from Miss Malal, that one time she was over." Wendy replies. "She said you two were like born enemies. Cats and dogs, that kind of thing." A moment. "...Probably had to do with the fact that you were...well, they called you Murderface for a reason, y'know? You were a pretty good shot, but you didn't particularly care who gets hit, so long as the person you're gunning for dies." She shrugs, here. "...Not my place to judge, anyhow, but...well, you weren't the kind to bother with collateral damage and civilian casualties then, Murderface. At leas that's what I heard."...Ah. So that's why."...You got better at it." Wendy murmurs. "Kharn kept you on a very short leash. I...I think you being around her actually helped."Huh. Well. That's surprising."You and me both." Another moment, as she manages a small smile at you. "Are you gonna start collecting panties and skulls too? I don't think you're the type, though..."How do you respond?
>>26578706[X] "I have no intention of becoming Kharn 2.0"Hurray! Decu's here!
>>26578706[x]"I'm fine with just golden weapons. You know about them and how they're really bad for you, right?"
>>26578706[x] That's Kharn's forte, I'll find my own. Any suggestions?
>>26578706"Not everyone's. Just a few. Should I take back yours?"Expanded Watermelon is ago!
>>26578706[x] "It's kind of gaudy, you know? All power to her, but I'm not really one to brag about either kind of conquest, and any I'd need reminding of probably isn't worth remembering anyway. So, what ARE you working on exactly."This is pretty much an A+++ dream, would have again.
>>26578759Yes. Tease the wendy
>>26578706>"Are you gonna start collecting panties and skulls too? I don't think you're the type, though..."[X] Give her a dry chuckle. "Not my kind of hobby. Actually, do I have any hobbies? I don't remember any. Well, I wouldn't mind starting one by reading the second volume of that manga. Think I could borrow it?"
>>26578706[x] "I think that I will leave that to other people."
>>26578706[x]"Your right, I am not the type"When we wake up, I think we should put the hat in our inventory for a while. Especially now that we got a reporter tweeting/chirping our every move. The last thing that we want to do is have sex with Ruri.the lewds is not worth it
>>26578706>[x] Not my thing. You want to say anything to the artist of that thing you're reading there, we basically live together as of recently.
>>26578706Nah, skulls aren't really in any condition for collecting once I get through with themAnd I have enough track of my own clothing let alone everyone else's, I could make an exception for you if you want howeverHow well did we know each other before?I keep getting this sort of nagging sense that you are expecting a different me and I am not quite sure if you are happy or sad when I consistently fail to be her
>>26578706>>26578759[x] Hah, go with that one. Then ask what she's working on.
>>26578773Curious if the second volume is also full of M fantasies
>>26578812*enough trouble keeping track of my own clothingSomehow I lost a sentence in the middle there
>>26578812This is pretty great. Let's go with this
>>26578773>>26578816Gotta wonder if Decu has a transcript of the MidorixMayumi comics somewhere in his laptop/PC.
>>26578706[x] "I'm not really a collector. I'd just forget where I got them.As a Vindicare I'm more of a giver than a taker, anyway. Bullets, damage bills, broke- bleeding hearts. That sort of thing."
>>26578706[x] "I've got enough collecting on my hands already. So...how well did we know each other? ...And what are you working on?"
>>26578706[x] "No, but I might start handing out Blue Roses to tease a certain someone.. "Because teasing Midori is relaxing!
>>26578706[X] "Not my style, I might get weapons 'gifted' to me."
>>26578846... and legs severed at the knees. Also, holy shit. This is the first time in months that I've made it to the start of a MGNQ thread.
>>26578851Don't want to bring up the new squeeze in front of the ex when you can still get them both
>>26578706"No, not the type indeed. Where DID I focus? And what 'work stuff' needs a Miracle Midori wig? Also, how come you didn't eviscerate me after groping you for so long? Mind if I start again?"
>>26578872Oh no, so this shit is canon now? Really?
>>26578916what, the writeups? They've always been canon, from what I know, but not that one.At least not yet. Depends on what Decu feels like
>>26578706[x] "Fuck no."[x] "I'm fine with just golden weapons. You know about them and how they're really bad for you, right?">>26578916...There are still people that think the writeups aren't canon? Well, I guess if you haven't read them, you wouldn't have noticed how EVERYTHING IN THEM has been what we've seen in the main story.'cept for Copper & Crimson, that is.
>>26579011>the writeups aren't canon?Even the Wendy/Midori NTR one in question?
>>26579023>'cept for Copper & Crimson, that is.
>>26579023>Even the Wendy/Midori NTR one in question?Only retards think that was a serious writeup.
>>26578938Yes, I mean no. What I mean is: Sure, writeups that expand the world are a nice idea and always welcome of they fit into the tone of the world. its also a nice nod when some of the characters make a cameo and all, but when its goes as far as other Readers and Writers inserting their "Originial Character Donut Steel" into the Backstory as close friends or lovers of established Characters its basically crossing the border into creepy, awkward and straight out bad territories of the whole Fanfiction-Thing.
>>26579023Didn't that start out from a picture anyway? I've never read any of the writeups, well, except that one with the British officio in it.
What I'm curious about is why, if Eyes on Me (you know, the one with bitter Midori dressed as Mion from Higurashi) isn't canon either......then why's Wendy got a yellow t-shirt and a green wig here?
>>26579054Oh yea.That one
>>26579061"Eyes on Me" is the adorable Chiaki x Midori one. I think you mean "Green Hair is the Danger" which has a callidus in green hair and a yellow t-shirt running around Mitakihara. Well, it's pretty obvious what that was about by now...
>>26579061..I had forgotten about the writeup and the details
>>26579054>What I mean is: Sure, writeups that expand the world are a nice idea and always welcome of they fit into the tone of the world. its also a nice nod when some of the characters make a cameo and all, but when its goes as far as other Readers and Writers inserting their "Originial Character Donut Steel" into the Backstory as close friends or lovers of established Characters its basically crossing the border into creepy, awkward and straight out bad territories of the whole Fanfiction-Thing.>Implying that decu isn't the only one that decides what goes in the story and what isn't
>>26579054>Donut Steelevery time
>>26579054Actually, I'm pretty sure people have to ask Deculture first before writing them, and then he tells them the relevant info they need to properly build the setting, like how the eighth is full of psychos and headcases, and the Seventeenth is NORSE MYTHOLOGY EVERYWHERE, and so on.>>26579072Ah shit. You're totally right. Makes things a lot clearer, for sure.
>>26579011>EVERYTHING IS CANONNo, fuck you.
>>26579054Chiaki has already been established as having gone through multiple bouts of amnesia. I don't think it's bad that she's forgotten one or two close relations? I always felt it a little trite that amnesia was brought up a lot in the narration but Chiaki immediately reacted to everyone by instantly remembering them and how to interact with them.In that respect, I think Wendy fills a void that had been nagging me since the start: "Someone close that we don't remember and aren't quite sure how to deal with." But that's just my take on it, I guess.
>>26579097Well, if we want this settled for good, we, you, or I, or whoever, can ask Deculture himself at the end of the thread when he opens it up for questions.
>>26579083If you haven`t figured out yet, Decu isn`t exactly a champ at outright saying "No." to people.
>>26579119>If you haven`t figured out yet, Decu isn`t exactly a champ at outright saying "No." to people.>Implying that Decu is getting bullied into letting the writefags characters into the storyAre you retarded?
...Also, the idea of anyone claiming that the writefags are calling any character in this story OR the writeups "original" is pretty goddamn laughable, when they've all been references or cameos or whatever of some shade or another.
>>26579110>Chiaki has already been established as having gone through multiple bouts of amnesia. I don't think it's bad that she's forgotten one or two close relations? I always felt it a little trite that amnesia was brought up a lot in the narration but Chiaki immediately reacted to everyone by instantly remembering them and how to interact with them. You completly missed the point of what I was saying. I don`t think me or anyone would be bothered about if Decu just wrote up a character for that. But it gets kind of icky when it is implied that everyone and their mothers can come up with Original Character Donut Steel and just inject them as a fairly important person to Character X or Ys Background.
>>26579132>Implying that Decu is getting bulliedD-Frag meme shop where
>>26579132>Implying your own Implications because you lack Reading Comprehension>Strawmaning like a champI don`t think its me who`s retarded.
>>26579143Maybe I did miss the point. I'm kinda in the middle of getting ready for work. I understand where you're coming from, but I don't really see a problem with it? Wendy fills a role that I personally felt had been missing since the start and she's a pretty good character in her own right so I'm content to just accept it like that. I don't feel it's particularly "icky"
>>26579143>it is implied that everyone and their mothers can come up with Original Character Donut Steel and just inject them as a fairly important person to Character X or Ys Background.>Actually thinking that the writefags just post whatever they want in the threads without first receiving Deculture's okSeriously?
>>26579197I'm fine with it so long as we aren't forced into "please waifu my friends character gaiz"
>>26579143>But it gets kind of icky when it is implied that everyone and their mothers can come up with Original Character Donut Steel and just inject them as a fairly important person to Character X or Ys Background.Would you care to cite some examples of this happening? ...By the way, Wendy doesn't count-- the first Wendy Cooldown writeup ("Luck & a Smile"), the one which showed the stabbing/shooting dream from Wendy's PoV, appeared two threads AFTER said dream happened on the plane (Threads 84 and 86, specifically). You have other examples, though, right?
>>26579143>>26579094Deculture talks it over with all the writefags before they put anything in the write ups, everything that gets done in them is approved by himIn the case of the rather clearly impossible ones ( ie MidorixWendy NTRing ) when they haven't happened, can't happen or simply refer to events which didn't happen they are non canon but written for fun, you should take everything else as canon since that's how Deculture runs itAnd he doesn't exactly get bullied into it, people want to help flesh out his world for this and they come to him with ideas, he tells them what he has written and planned for areas / officios and then they go from there. In the case of the eighth he had plans for an American officio from waaaay back when, he had actually gotten a few basic ideas down. The along came Wendy who wanted to write the stories that related to the American officio so they collaborated on itThis is basically how everything gets done now
>>26579140How exactly were you able to miss the obvious irony of Pic related?
>>26579143>Implying that wendy wasn't made by Decu>>26579222>actually thinking that we are getting railroaded into liking a sidecharacter just because she and Chiaki had a history togetherJust fucking ask all after Chikuwa and stop shiting the thread up.
Tempted to write a deliberately awful Mary Sue fanfiction-tier OC writeup.Donut Steel should totally be an Eighth Officio meguca.
>>26579248Write all you want, but if Decu doesn't like it then it means nothing.
>>26579228>Wendy doesnt countWhy? I´m asking because your reasoning why Wendy doesn`t count doesnt really make sense. No, really. How is "She appread before" an argument if we are talking about "Is is okay to make X a past lover of Donut Steel?"
>>26579261Haven't you heard anon? Anything you write becomes canon.Working on my own OC right now in fact.
>>26579281Stop being so fucking childish because you don't like what "your" characters past isDeculture ok'd it all so live with it
Would you faggots please stop shitting up the quest? I don't even know what you're arguing about. Pretty sure I don't give a fuck, either. Ask your questions about the world after the Chikuwas and keep the discussion plot related. At least the shadowruns are mildly entertaining.
>>26579280What the flying fuck are you even talking about?>>26579281>>26579295All this mad over what I'm sure is absolutely nothing.
>>26579281 is what people call a joke, anons.
>>26579281Hey, I can pretend to be retarded, too! Remember how EVERYTHING IS CANON, because that guy earlier said so?>>26579229>This is basically how everything gets done nowYou are basically saying that everything is canon unless it isnt. That sure helped to clear up a lot of things.
>>26579261>>26579280>>26579281>>26579295Don't ruin a good thing by pushing Decu around for the sake of your epeen. Let's just drop this entire conversation and move on with the quest
>>26579310>What the flying fuck are you even talking about?I don`t know, really. The guy I quoted made some sort of argument for.. something. Ask him to elaborate then maybe everything will become clear.
>>26579327There is a total of 3 writeups that are not canon. All of them are lewd. There are no canon writeups that are lewd. That seems to be a good indicator to me.
>>26579239I said it because Wendy is in a gray area there imo. This dream makes it like she's being rammed down and I don't like it
we're doing that thing again where we end up with 300 posts before we even reach 5-6 Decu-posts.
>>26579358I agree with this guy.
>>26579349So you don't even know if someone created a character to be a past lover of another, established character.Because I personally have no memory of that ever being mentioned in a writeup. Not once.>>26579358Did you miss the part last thread where we voted pretty much unanimously to grope Wendy's butt, then to CONTINUE groping Wendy's butt?
>>26579358She's not in a gray area at all. What you don't like is her role (old flame that pops back up and still has sparks), which is fair enough - though I disagree - but it has nothing to do with OCs or writefags. And people in general seem to like or at least don't mind her, going by last thread.
>>26579358Well I like herShe is the only character we have seen who actually gives us any fucking clue to our past outside of "you we grumpy and shot people", was originally introduced by Deculture and he has so far written her as he has seen fit, the fact that she was the first decent write up that had a continuing character that we are now interacting with is just how things have gone and she obviously has a purpose for being there otherwise Deculture wouldn't have her appear
>>26578716 >>26578759 >>26578886You frown at her. Why is everyone expecting you to follow Kharn's metal-clawed, skull-taking, panty-collecting footsteps? Just because you've taken up the position she once had and the hat that she once wore doesn't mean you're about to take after the crazy Russian. No, just to set the matter straight - you're not about to become the second coming of Valnikov Kharn. Collecting skulls and conquests is not the way you see yourself working."...That's why I said it's not your style," Wendy replies. "It's not your thing. And...and I'm really happy it's not." She looks at you with an unreadable expression on her face, before turning away....Silence, except for the sound of the wailing winds outside - and the ocassional turn of a manga page.Is she just leaving it at that? Seriously? You narrow your eyes at this, before crossing your arms. Well, maybe you will take up one of Kharn's hobbies, then. It's worth looking at, since she seemed to be really popular before the Betrayer thing."...I wouldn't say popular." Wendy replies, deadpan. "I remember Miss Malal saying something about how...Kharn is just something that you let happen. Like being bitten by a dog, that kind of thing." She turns to you again, a disapproving frown curling her lips slightly. "...Are you going to collect everyone's panties now, too?"You shake your head. Not everyone's, you deadpan. Just a few.Wendy's eyes narrow at you. "Whose?"You let a small smile curl your own lips as you stretch the moment with your own silence, before replying.[1/2]
>>26579402>old flameThey made out while drunk. Wendy seems mildly surprised by Murderface's current behaviour, leading me to believe they never went any further.
>>26579412Plus she has an appreciable sense of humor
>>26579425". . ." Wendy's expression doesn't change, but the gradual crimsoning of her pale complexion into a beet red is something you wish you could have captured on camera. She turns away again."...Lewd," She murmurs finally, in a small, meek voice, one that almost sounds shaky. Hesitant. "You've...you've really turned lewd since you forgot about me, huh..."Well, it was just a joke, you explain, after a few moments of awkward silence, where the both of you just looked at each other and waited for whoever would make the first move. You were just teasing, anyway."...Just teasing. Right." Wendy narrows her eyes at you, before letting out her breath in a huff. "...We can't do it here, anyway. Unless you want everyone in the same room as you to hear what we're doing."Ah. Yeah. That'd be...yeah, no.That's another thing you wanted to talk to her about. Just...what kind of relationship did the both of you have? Before your amnesia happened. Before everything else happened. She said you were friends, but certain events involving a particularly soft part of her anatomy and your free hand somehow clued you in that there's more to it than that. And you're pretty sure she wouldn't just let anyone grope her ass without getting a knife shoved in their face, or in their kidneys."You're right. I wouldn't just let anyone." Wendy nods. "...I guess you could say we were.." She seems to hedge here. "Serious...? I don't...I don't know. I don't know what to call it. You didn't, too. I don't think we ever bothered to find out" Another pause. "...But I liked it a lot. I really did, and...and I hoped you did, too.". . .Huh. Well. That's...well. You guess that makes her your ex, then?"...I guess so." The strange, brown-haired girl looks at you.How do you react?
>>26579358Personally I find Wendy to be one of the better 'imported' characters, mostly because she's pretty different from the other characters, and Yume Nikki doesn't have a large and insufferable fanbase. I dread the possibility of a TM character getting any kind of importance.
>>26579425>>26579441[x] Awkward pause.[x] "Having fun with the manga?"That reminds me, the first time we saw cooldown we shot her in the face and got stabbed in the throat. When exactly did we get all buddy buddy again?
>>26579402>And people in general seem to like or at least don't mind her, going by last thread. In this thread we have 3 or 4 people who seem to mind. Its not like we ever had ever problems with voting for stupid decisions in this Ques-.. Oh.
>>26579441Apologize for forgetting everything. Not that we had any control over it but it sort of feels like the right thing to do.Ask her how things are going on her side of the world, any crazy golden weapon weirdos turning up causing trouble for them? >>26579441"Why did we fall out? Was it me forgetting you or you dying?"
>>26579441[x]"At least that's one good thing that's come out of my previous life."
>>26579460I didn't vote for the but gripping. I suppose it's understandable given the hat, but it's still not something I'd suggest as a laugh. I'd have thought that, given the fact that Wendy and Murderface had dream killed each other, and Murderface doesn't remember anything about Wendy, Murderface would be pretty nonplussed towards her rather than so forward. Speaking of the hat, when do you guys want to get rid of that and replace it with our own symbol? There's been talk of getting a new... badge, as it were, and I was think that, in keeping with the 40K theme, we should get a hat with the seal of the Inquisition on it. Witch hunters and all that.
>>26579441[x] "Whatever that was I am not that person anymore. You should probably forget about it. I did too."Then continue with this:>>26579457
>>26579441>>26579463[x] this sounds good

Not for any route or waifu or ending reasons, but because I wonder if Homura developed her ass-man tendencies across countless time loops of focusing on Madoka and trying to save her.Or possibly it was a post-Madoka thing that arose as part of the Mami-imprinting: a fine derriere is a sought-after quality in a person--it's how Chiaki decides whom she's cool with (Sayaka's ass is probably unimpressive).THESE are the important questions we should be asking ourselves.>>26579449I agree fully. Let's hope one doesn't become a disturbingly skillful undercover freelance journ-.. Oh.
>>26579514Unfortunately whenever we try to get rid of there seems to be an Influx of chucklefucks, nevermind that it might compromise our work.. I have no idea why anyone would vote for that other than HURR.
>>26579514We have spoken to her since the double kill dreamAnd until she pulled a knife we actually were quite civil with her in the dream to begin withAnd we woke up in the dream with our hand already there so it wasn't so much we decided to go full retard and grope her as we went that step further and went retard
>>26579537Yeah the bar, I remember, but I don't think the discussion was very intimate. I'll have to go reread that thread to be sure though.
>>26579449>Personally I find Wendy to be one of the better 'imported' characters, mostly because she's pretty different from the other charactersBut shes basically a stabby Copy of Chiaki..?
>>26579534>>26579557While Amber and Neco-Arc are plot-related, they're not really that important so far. Well, you could argue Neco I guess, but we've never actually interacted with her so that hasn't been an issue.
>>26579514There is already an officio which acts sort of like the inquisition who may be using that symbolDecu hinted to it at the end of a thread once, it was the 20th iirc
>>26579582It's the 2nd. There was a writeup about it a while back. Vanilla Saber is the warmaster.
>>26579578Perfect for each other. Too bad she's dead.
>>26579578Really? I can't see Chiaki acting like Wendy has in this dream, for example. They're both damaged and fairly reserved sure, superficially similar, but there are quite a few differences - Wendy doesn't seem to have the same kind of self-loathing Chiaki often exhibits, we saw in the Sayaka flashback that she can be a mouthy smart-ass with little provocation which doesn't really describe Chiaki at all, etc.
>>26579582Maybe it would be est to avoid it then, we don't want to be associated with some fanatics. An eagle would be a bit generic so I don't really know what else to suggest. We could always accept Matt Ward as our spiritual liege and and an ultramarine symbol I guess.
>>26579590apparently pinky thinks they are perfect for each other, seeing as she brought wendy back and gave her a new soul gem

>>26579590>Perfect for each otherNah, I think the perfect fit for her would be Midori if she got her act together and started acting less submissive. Getting-shit-done-Midori in the Barrier was my favourite Midori. Now she spends her days with blushing and stammering all day..
>>26579590>>26579611>>26579615>Lover of Murderface>Pinky brought her backNot a Mary-Sue at all, huh?
>>26579611>Pinky trying to get a harem of her ownA horrifying thought.>yandere goddess/daemon trying to set us up with someone elseAn even worse thought.
>>26579611Was it Pinky or Madokami? Pinky seemed to get along fairly well with Midori during the Barrier arc, but I don't think she's the sort to save anyone. I think the only reason she was even willing to "fight fair against Midori-chan" is because Midori's illusion making her look normal gained Green Green a ton of Pinky points. I still think Pinky would've let Midori died without shedding a single bloody tear.Madokami, on the other hand...
I would like for Chiaki and Midori to eventually end up together. The throw away character getting the girl appeals to me.
>>26579643Pinky brought her back to she could torment Murderface with her death.Remember, Good Pinky (aka Godoka) tricked Evil Pinky (aka Faust) into distributing the Golden Weapons by convincing her that it would make Murderface suffer. That's all Faust wants for Murderface. Suffering, and a slow painful death. That's what we gave her, after all, and it is only fair that she repays us in kind.
>>26579672It was madokamiShe was the one who brought both Wendy and Midori backBoth parts were decultures writing with the first being the dream when we were in the bar and the second obviously the Siberia barrier
>>26579441"I wish I could remember it, if just to remember something. Though my muscle memory still seems to work...do you hate me for forgetting?"
>>26579672Hmm, we should ask Wendy actually, next vote. Would be very VERY useful information - if it was Madokami Wendy's probably safe for Chiaki to get along with, while Pinky would probably have grand plans for her related to Chiaki suffering, whether Wendy goes along with it or not.
>>26579694We can always go for this.
>>26579698just how many golden weapons are there?and why is it when we time stop we only run into Faust?
>>26579732From the OP pic apparently 20 And apparently we run into her because we are linked to her after she tore out our heart and dumped us in charlottes barrier
>>26579719Naaah.I like Wendy, but Midori's fine with me.
I think this is important information that we should be asking right now. 1) How did it end? Was it because we forgot or because she died? 2) Who brought her back? Was it a pink haired girl with black eyes? Or a pink haired girl with eyes of gold? Probably too late now though
>>26579744It's worth noting (for those who didn't know there were 20 golden weapons) that some people hold more than one golden weapon.
>>26579578AND NOW NEITHER OF THEM ARE VIRGINS
>>26579698Oh, okay. This doesn`t make her a Mary-Sue at all then. Good thing we don`t have to bother anymore about anyone dying because Pinky will just revive them so we can suffer some more. How this is supposed to make anyone suffer is beyond me, other than making Death completly trivial in the Setting.
>>26579758And how about "You know anything about what's going on out there?" and point at the Grief Seed and the city.
>>26579790Perhaps it's a reference to Madokami/Faust's influence over Wendy? She can't have gone through the process we did to reduce, if not remove, that influence.
Query: can pinky see us in the dream? We should remove hand from ass, timestop and find out.
So much heresy in this thread.
>>26579785Well the death of Midori was driven by chucklefucks and I think that as much as it would suck we should have had her stay deadWendy we are unsure about since we forgot about her and didn't know that she died until we were toldAnd Pinky isn't doing shit, Madokami did and when she revived Midori she said it was pretty much the last act she could do since she had used up everything that she had left in order to pull the fragments of Chiaki back together and stuff Midori's soul inside her dead friends gem
>>26579785...Yeah, you're just going to bitch and moan no matter what anyone says, no matter how valid their point, aren't you?Could you please adopt a trip or a name or something? Rather, I think you should be easily identifiable so the whole world will recognize you for your intelligence and insight.
>>26579823>timestopIt's been awhile, maybe once we get out of the dream we should drop by. I'd like to see if Pinky can give us an update on the GWs or maybe even something about NECO (unlikely as it is). >>265798277Why must you tempt me so?
>>26579785You're a faggot. Fuck off.
>>26579873This gave me an idea. If NECO continues to pester our missions, let's arrange her an interview with Pinky. Preferably without pulling her into timestop.
>>26579873I'm of the opinion that we should only use timestop for emergencies, or if the shield is clicking to indicate that Pinky wants a chat.We don't want to surprise her when she's in the bath or something. No, really, we don't. That would only end with a 'kyaaaa you pervert' and a relativistic soap bar to the face.

>>26579896Sallaka specifically asked us NOT to do anything of that sort. When we inquired, we got in trouble with her because she thought we were regressing to ol' murderface again. >>26580064She took some sarcastic, joking comments to heart because she remembers us being that way and she didn't find the comments funny at all. I think she overreacted and I hope she realizes this by morning. >>26579463 >>26579465 >>26579477 >>26579508You break another painfully-long and painfully-awkward silence between the both you by...saying sorry. Sorry that you forgot about her. You must have been one lousy girlfriend...Wendy shakes her head. "It wasn't your fault, I..." She swallows audibly, here, and her voice when she speaks again is a bit strained. "...Things happened. Bad things. A lot of them, almost all at once." She manages a weak smile, here. "...I'm not mad, you know. I don't hate you for forgetting. It was...it was just something that happened, and there's really no sense in getting angry over something like that." The brown-haired girl looks down on her book, before closing it with a small snap. You couldn't help but notice that while she did sound sincere, she also sounded like she'd been practicing the words to herself for quite some time, just waiting for the moment to say them. As if speaking from rote memory.Well, how did it happen, then? Why did it happen? Which came first - you forgetting, or her dying?"The latter," Wendy says after a long while. "...From what I heard, you really took it hard. Not something I can blame you for, anyway. Everyone was still hurting after Miss Malal was KIA in Walpurgisnacht. You most of all. Even more than Kharn." It's here her voice falters just a bit, and she rubs the heel of a hand into her eyes. "...I've said too much. I promised. Sorry. You don't need to hear any more."What? N-no. No, you need to know. This is about you, and her."...I promised I wouldn't say," Wendy replies, her voice soft, but firm. The bed creaksas she shifts position, sitting up and levering herself off of the mattress. Her bare feet making no noise at all on the wood-tiled floor as she makes for the balcony, the glass doors sliding back as she steps closer. "I promised, and I try to keep the promises I make."[1/2]
>>26580162You follow her into the balcony - and it's here that you get a lungful of ash. Ash from the burning buildings, and most likely from the burning corpses as well. You cover your mouth with a pajama sleeve as you move closer to her - Wendy now leaning on the protective railing on the balcony's edge, just beside the small stairway leading over the railing itself. Pinky's - no, Faust's - Grief Seed hanging in the sky in front of you, like a giant meteorite just about to crash into the city and wipe out anything left from the blaze. Someone insane would probably think that this kind of backdrop in this situation would be ironically romantic. The air soon clears of the choking ash, allowing you to breathe without feeling like you're trying to inhale engine smoke as an alternative to cigarettes. It's here, then, that you ask the owner of this dream - Who made her promise? Who made her promise not to say anything?Wendy looks at you. "Someone who...who really loves you, Kong. Probably..." She laughs here, hollowly, with a crushing loneliness that seems all too familiar. "...Probably more than I do."It's here that the floor underneath you starts to rumble. An earthquake, making its presence felt. You glance up at the sky - and the Grief Seed seems to be creeping closer. Closer still, as if suddenly remembering to fulfill the doomsday scenario it was mimicking just a few moments ago."You're waking up," Wendy notes. "I...I think it's urgent. You'd better go." She seems to be quite disappointed, now, but for some reason she also seems...happy. "You'll be okay, don't worry. You didn't sleep through the night."Ah. Well. That's some consolation.Looks like you have enough time to ask just once more question. What will it be?
>>26580149>>26580126We don't have to kneecap or threaten to kneecap anyone. I just want to know how NECO got past our security so that we can learn how to avoid others doing it in the future. So I'm slow as fuck and only just noticed. If noirMidori seems to have actually been Wendy, and the writeup and the whole "GREEN HAIR IS THE DANGER" seems to imply that she was the one accompanying Kyoko this entire time while in disguise, then where the fuck is the real Midori?I almost want to start shadowrunning over it, but I doubt Wendy did anything bad to her. >>26580329That's exceedingly unlikely. A wig is not enough to let Wendy look even remotely like Midori. Midori is way taller and bustier, for one thing, not to mention that we may see things through anime lenses, but even Kyouko should be able to notice her Japanese partner-in-crime is suddenly looking awfully white.
>>26580329I thought last thread and this bone made it obvious that Noirdori is Wendy. Timeline and clothes shows that Midori is with Kyouko while Wendy is off pretending to be Midori in the red light district. (I bring clothes up because someone asked Decu what Midori wore under her hoodie. His reply was "just a sports bra". Noirdori was wearing a hoodie with a yellow shirt)
>>26580372Then why does Wendy have a Midori wig and the tshirt she was wearing on her floor for "work things"?

>>26580392But what about the questions which can't wait until next time? Like whether or not she's been pretending to be Midori (which I sincerely doubt).
>>26580427Probably for the same reason there's the world is on fire outside their room, it's just a dream and dreams are Weird.

>>26580168soo probably too late but can we ask what the wig is about?
>>26580408So now we have to assume that whenever we see Midori it's actually Wendy? Eh, I don't see that having a huge impact. We could always try and trick her by asking her something that only Midori would know (without metagaming it).
>>26580427Different capabilities? Kyouko makes copy illusions of herself, Midori makes a Barrier that feeds off people's expectations... Maybe Wendy needs props to help her illusions along, I don't know. Maybe it's just a dream metaphor like someone suggested
>>26580458But what if Midori has been Wendy all along? What if, during the Siberia arc, we were actually controlling Wendy?WHERE DOES THE TINFOIL END, DECU? WHERE?
Crazy theory, but what if Wendy is inside the new soul gem Madoka crafted for Midori? She didn't specify When or how she got a new one from Madoka. The Wig could then be a metaphor to tell us that she's inside Midori. Perhapse she's even taking over Midori's body, which would lead to the whole fooling/green is danger thing.
>>26580473I think we all know the answer to that.Hahaha!
>>26580329>>26580372>>26580378While Kyouko came over with us Midori was disguised as us. That wasn't wendy dressed up as midori dressed up as us, right?
Guys, I think you're looking at it all wrong.Wendy isn't Midori.Midori is Wendy.
>>26580459It's perfectly plausible but this whole thing just seems like a gigantic red herring to me. There's something definitely off, and we probably have enough clues to solve it but I don't think it's as invasive as one of the main side characters actually being someone else. So yeah, metaphors and misleads abound.
>>26580493I wouldn't think so. I'm going to reserve my judgement 'till we have further proof.

>>26580191 >>26580194 >>26580201You tear your gaze away from the oncoming grief seed to ask her one final question.Who killed her - or what?Wendy's face darkens at this, before she nods. "A friend," She says, over the sound of the grief seed finally slamming into what little remained of Mitakihara - over the sound of the world breaking apart around the both you. "One who got turned into a monster by a Golden Weapon. She...she's gone, now. No one knows where she is." A sigh. "Nicole Touchdown. That's...that's what I knew her as. I don't know if she still calls herself by that."Ah. Well. That's...that's as clear of an answer that you're going to get.Stepping forward, you reach up with both your hands to pull her gently down to your height, by her shoulders. She blinks at this, but allows you to do so, bending forward slightly. Without allowing modesty to regain control of your own instincts, you press your lips against her cheek. Just a small, brief period of contact. She stiffens at this, and you draw back. Your own cheeks reddening slightly, a mirror to hers. You'll get it right this time, you tell her. That's your promise, and you try not to make the promises you make, either.Wendy nods at this, the small smile once more on her lips."Goodbye, Kong," You hear her murmur right into your ear, as she gives you a kiss of her own. It's the last thing you hear just before the world explodes.[1/2]
>>26580720You open your eyes to Sayaka shaking you by the shoulder. It's...oddly considerate of her, seeing as you didn't exactly part ways amicably earlier. The least you were expecting was her punching and kicking you awake. You mumble something about being up, before groping around for your glasses. You put them back on after rubbing the grit from your eyes, a yawn tearing itself from you as you do so. You also manage to ask her what time it is."Quarter past five," The blue-haired Eversor replies, her voice quiet in the dimly-lit darkness of Ruri's suite. "Nothing's come up. Squad Hiryu's making the rounds as we speak, along with the security detail. Karasawa says no Callidus action, either, so we're good on that." Sayaka seems to hesitate here. "...I called NECO earlier, and I managed to get her to tone it down a bit."Ah. Well. That's...that's what you wanted. You thank her for it."No problem." A pause, then a sigh. "...S-Sorry about...earlier. You didn't need that. I didn't need that."What? Is...is Sayaka apologizing to you?"Don't make this any more fucking difficult than it has to be," The Eversor growls. "I was being a dick earlier, and I'm apologizing for it. I recognize my failing and I'm correcting it. Alright?"How do you react?
>>26580712Weird way of doing foreplay.
>>26580692This reminds me. When the mission is over, we must try sleeping with our hand on Midori's butt. If she refuses, tell her it's warmaster's orders.
Am I the only one who thinks NECO could be a valuable asset if we could recruit her? She stalked us and Sayaka for most of the day without either of us being none the wiser; just imagine how long it would have taken her to be found if she had a Calidus supporting her. I personally don't think we would have found her at all.And since I'm fairly sure she won't stop snooping, we could actually offer up some sort of protection by being part of our Officio. Because sooner or later, she'll probably get caught by another group, and I doubt we'd be the only people who'd think to slit throats first and ask questions later. However, having the personal protection of the Ninth's Warmaster may get her out of those situations alive. Severely beaten, but alive. The way, I see it, QB gets publicity and information from her, Sayaka'll calm her tits because we'll be protecting her somewhat, and NECO would actually get financing, support, and unprecedented access to Magical girls like she never had before.
>>26580727[x] "Kneecap yourself later on and it'll be fine." -Sleepily."But seriously, if you think we're fucking up, tell us in private and it's all good. You're the damn Equerry, after all."

>>26580727[x] "Apology accepted. If you can call her, try to find out how she got past our security. And get some sleep while you can; the boss wants us looking our best."
>>26580727[x] "Apology accepted." "I'll have you take care of any negotiations or warnings to the kid who clearly doesn't know any better in the future." "Perfect job for a hero of hers, right ?"
>>26580774Couldn't we ask her about someone who might fit that description; might give us some leads? Hell, can't we ask her if she's heard anything about what happened to Malal, as well?>>26580775Of course, but I don't see why they wouldn't go with it. We'll be protecting Neco, and keeping her from being an outright loose cannon, keeping Magical girls with less ... restraint from just taking her out. QB'll get someone who has a nose for sniffing out ongoing operations, like she did with us. Not to mention an expert and publicity.
HELPFUL GUIDE TO TELLING WHETHER MURDERFACE IS BEING SARCASTIC ABOUT KNEECAPPING SOMEONE OR NOT>If she does not have her gun out, it's probably sarcasm.>If she has her gun out, it's probably a threat.>if she wanted to have kneecaped someone, they'll be screaming and bleeding and be on the floor wondering why they can't feel their feet any more>*SPECIAL SECRET NOTE* This does not apply when giving orders to kneecap people. And besides, that's her shtick. She wouldn't do that.
>>26580870Again, just erring on the side of caution. From my impressions of Sayaka on NECO, the former's concerned about what the latter is doing. With the kind of work Magical Girls face everyday, Blueberry's concern isn't unfounded. If ever NECO did join the 9th and got herself into real trouble, Sayaka may take it to heart that she had a hand in it.
>"Nicole Touchdown. That's...that's what I knew her as. I don't know if she still calls herself by that.">Deceased as of September of last year, KIA in an altercation with a high-ranking member of the United Assassins Association. The loss sent ripples through Santa Destroy’s mercenary scene and sparked a new, albeit short-lived conflict with the UAA resulting in more high-profile deaths on both sides.Sounds like this Nicole Touchdown is a gender bent Travis Touchdown and unless there was some sort of cover-up involved it looks like she is another human that stumbled onto a golden weapon.
>>26580727I suppose you could give me a hand with something to make up for it, I like to kneecap my self in the morning, so how bout we have some mutual kneecapping before ruri wakes up?
>>26580898Fuck you Murderface, maybe if you you showed more emotion than a fucking ROCK, people would be able to tell easier.
>>26580841Personally I'd rather (mind) beat it out of her. Mainly because the practice of following MGs around is pretty unhealthy and bound to get her killed sooner or later, the fact that she's still alive is a miracle. It's cruel to let her go on doing something so dangerous, the right thing to do here is dissuade her from getting involved any further with MGs. So I think that, when we have the time, we should set up an interview and then bring Karasawa Enishi along so we can politely ask her a few questions in a very persuasive manner. >>26580870Yeah, that too. Maybe we can do a quick phone interview and get some little questions answered in return for telling her something she wants to know. Then we Kneec - I mean make her reassess her life goals.
>>26580925Oh Sallaka, Murderface is only rock hard for you.
>>26580911Murderface, my patella is so hard right now, could you help me with that?
>>26580870Also, I guess Sayaka's hostility came from Chiaki touching a nerve. She still wants to be a White Knight, if my faulty memory serves me right.
>>26580925I'm not your murderface, equerry.
>>26580900Fair point, but as it already stands, NECO's already independantly investigating other Officios and such. As a member of the ninth, we could have girls protecting her, or rescuing her if it comes down to it.
>>26580944That really pissed me off, not only is Sayaka letting this girl go around and endanger herself, she's doing it to stroke her big fat 'magical girls are heroines' cock. She's looking out for Neco for both selfish reasons and in spite of the fact that Neco could get herself killed doing it.
>>26580911Let me get some gun oil to lube up the sliding bits, that helps me pop multiple kneecaps faster.
>>26580947It's an avenue that merits looking into, at least.>>26580967Ehh, didn't even like Sayaka in the series proper. Homu-fag all the way.
>>26580947That could get politically risqué, what happenes if some of our troops are found protecting her whilst she's spying on a different officio? It's not going to look good, I can tell you that much. The best way to protect her from magical girls is to get her to stop interacting with them.
>>26580930>>26580967Aside from the fact that she's already skilled enough to evade two security teams, one of which is a full Vindicare squad, a top Eversor, and a Callidus, QB's implication that she's more than just a normal girl show that she's got more than just pure luck letting her survive doing what she does. I don't think we should worry about her health, because she's obviously able to look out for herself, and won't be caught unless she wants to be.
getting a civilian involved our affairs is a really bad idea, NECO isn't a magical girl.
>>26580996The 9th's Girls intervening should be a last-resort option, if indeed NECO goes under Kyuubey's payroll.>>26581000This. Neco is no ordinary girl, no matter what Sayaka thinks.
I'd like to remind everyone that QB didn't actually deny setting up our run-in with NECO.
>>26581000She's been getting fucking lucky anon. We don't know the full extent of her abilities just because she put on a maid costume and then jumped out a window when she noticed a van full of magical girls roll up in front of the hotel she was in. All the interviews she posted are her just straight up talking to someone or regurgitating gossip about them, with a bit of spying through a pair of binoculars on top. Maybe she can out smart most magical girls, the fact that she's still alive is impressive. However, I don't think she's super human. Just super lucky.
>>26581028"Neither confirm nor deny." Bastard cat was being smug about it though, which may mean he knows more than he's letting on.(Or, y'know, he got to see Chiaki being one-upped and is 'happy" for a given measure of it.)
>NECO @MGsAreReal 1m>Guess i'll just clean my equipment or something, or sleep i guess = 3 = wouldn't want the Sayaka defense force getting all butthurtSayaka has fans?
> NECO @MGsAreRealGuess i'll just clean my equipment or something, or sleep i guess = 3 = wouldn't want the Sayaka defense force getting all butthurt
>>26580967Deep down, Mickey likes to believe in the "ideal magical girl". That's why she was such a big fan of Ruri's music, it connected sayaka with her desired fantasy of being a magical girl instead of the reality.NECO is just an innocent looking up to her role models in her own way, which is by finding out as much as possible about them. It's sweet really, but NECO doesn't realize how much danger she could be in. Murderface had Sayaka and QB keep her in check, but what if another officio discovers this information, and decides they want to recruit her for themselves to spy interoffice? Or if another officio decides they don't care for such a leak, because if she can spy on a god damn WARMASTER without being caught, she could likely spy on other megucas just as easy and other officios might not have such an easy going boss.Either bring her in, or tell her to step off for her own good, ask sayaka to do it.
>>26581061I think it's more a dig at Sayaka being authoritarian. Since Japan's 'army' is called the Self Defence Force.
>>26581073I'm in for the "Step off for her own good" camp. We don't need any more civilian blood on our hands.
>>26581080clearly you don't visit 4chan enough...
Whatever we do, we need to call her 'Mickey'. Because.
>>26581093I'm aware of the other meaning. But that would mean NECO was breaking the 4th wall.
>>26581061>>Sayaka has fans? I like her. She's not my favorite, but she's cool. I like our current interactions with her too.
>>26581080>Self Defence Force.I thought it was a reference to the JIDF, and all other subsequent internet defence forces. What with such groups tending to be quite vocal and extreme. >>26581073>ask sayaka to do it.Alright, I suggested Enishi but that's probably a bad idea. I just felt sorry for her and wanted to giver her a chance to get her revenge I guess. If Sayaka won't do it lets get Kyoko as a compromise. Though she might fuck it up.
>>26581056Did you happen to notice what floor that was? That was one floor under the penthouse suite. That's a multi-story drop.Your suggestion that we do anything about NECO to get her away from Magical Girls is both unneeded and futile.
>>26581100NECO's existence is breaking the 4th wall...
>>26581109But who, within the context of the story, would that be refering to? What the hell would a Sayaka defence force be? Why would they be talking to NECO?
>>26581121Not directly. Her twitter is a real thing, but it's always in character.
>>26581122Other magical girls.
>>26581122Sayaka's actually a bit popular in the world, she is the White Knight of the Ninth and apparently a ladykiller of redheads.
>>26581117Pic related, it's both how she could escape a multisotry drop and what will be usedd to kill her. Probably. She could actually be killed by something much worse, like knives or guns or claws or pinkey or rampaging steamroller. >>26581122It didn't make sense to me either, that's just what I assumed the reference to be to. Sayaka has no defence force, obviously. She's talking about Sayaka being butthurt because she's drawing too much attention to herself.
>>26581142>>26581154Is she that popular though? That she has a fan following that would hurl abouse at NECO on twitter?
>>26581154I can just imagine a redheaded mob chasing NECO Arc for daring to slander Sayaka.
>>26581087I really don't think we need to further bother with NECO, and we should not interfere with her activities. For one, she won't listen, and second, I think it'll just make us look even more foolish when it turns out she's not some naive civilian but actually is well equipped to her chosen hobby.
>>26581173Depends on whether or not anybody plans to do this.
>>26581212We'll just have to wait and see how NECO presents herself in person then. She does need to stop Chirping while we're on an Op though. (Which has been already done by Sayaka, it seems.)
>>26581173All she even needs is one fan to hurl abuse at someone through Chirpee if they have enough puppet accounts.
>>26581270I can see Kyoko doing that.
>>26581073I would like to mention (if it hasn't been already) that we don't actually know NECO's true motives for certain. We only have Sayaka's word for it, and her interactions with NECO might have been colored by her own ideals of what magical girls should be like. I'd rather we didn't kill some amateur news reporter. However, we should tell Sallaka that if NECO so much as toes the line it's her responsibility to take care of it.
>>26581293I really doubt that NECO was being completely honest with Sayaka, or that she's just some mundane amateur news reporter.
>>26581293Do you want Sayaka to hate us forever. Sayaka went off on us for joking about "interogating" neko. Sayaka gave us her solemn word that she would handle NECO, we need to trust Sayaka to do her fucking job, and we need to do ours, which is looking out for the principal, NECO doesn't seem to be focussed at all on Ruri as such isn't our issue. Sure, on a secondary level it could be percieved as a threat, but again, we had this talk with Sayaka and sayaka promised that she would stop NECO from continuing. So a little faith is required here.
>>26581382Sayaka's face when it turns out NECO manipulated her with a fake stary eyed schoolgirl story.
I think we can all agree that we need to[x] Grab Sayaka's buttwith the excuse that it is a kneecap tax.
>>26581403THIS FUCKING THIS.We're the boss, we have employee's for a purpose, we don't need to tell them how to do their job, they're competent people who are good at what they do. They wouldn't be alive otherwise, stop trying to tell Sayaka how to do her job and let her do it.
>>26580750 >>26580772 >>26580805 >>26580846With the last vestiges of sleep making your tongue feel thick and unresponsive in your mouth, you tell her to just kneecap herself later on and it'll be fine. You'll consider the matter settled."W-what? I..." Sayaka narrows her eyes at you. "Murderface." She says your name like a warning, clearly not amused. You chuckle at this, before shaking your head. Joking aside - and you were joking - if she at all thinks you're fucking up somehow, then she should tell you in private and it's all good. It's why you made her Equerry, after all. A check and balance to how badly you're fucking up being Warmaster of the Ninth Officio."...Yeah. Yeah, I'll do that." She manages a smile. "Next time, of course. And that's pretty much inevitable, right?"Heh. Yeah. Just like how it's inevitable that she'll have a superbitch moment about it, which pretty much renders her ability to notify you in private impossible. Just cancelling it out and all."Hah. Fuck you, Murderface."Seems you didn't screw up things between you and your Equerry as bad as you thought. That's a good thing, at least. You get up off the couch, slipping the holstered Desert Eagle back on, the Warmaster Cap stuffed into your inventory. It's your turn to keep watch, now. She should get some rest, since your boss wants you to look your best. Couch is good for a nap, in any case."Yeah. I'll do that." Sayaka lets out a breath, glancing over at Ruri. "At least, I'll try to. Having a bit of trouble sleeping."...What? Is she still rustled over what happened earlier? Because you'll apologize about it if she wants, that's not an issue--"No, no. Not that anymore." The Eversor shakes her head. "Just...gah. Nevermind. It's just my nerves, probably." She takes your place on the couch, Blueberry Cheesecake Brownie laid down on her lap. "Just this fucking assignment, I guess. Now you know why I don't go for security ops all that much."[1/2]
>>26581382Spoiler alert: NECO is actually Spider-Man
>>26581438Huh. well. You'll keep it in mind, then, when you're assigning people to missions next."I'd appreciate it." She nods at you. "...I made a fresh pot of coffee outside. Should still be hot enough to drink if you need some."That's thoughtful of her. She didn't poison it, did she?Sayaka rolls her eyes at this. "The fuck do I look like, some sort of Venenum? Yeah, I'd poison the same coffee I'd be drinking, along with the rest of the damn security detail. Go have a cup if you're feeling sleepy."Yeah, fine. You leave Sayaka to get her shuteye, closing the door quietly behind you. You immediately spot the coffee machine Sayaka must have taken from Room Service sitting on top of a corner table, with a few paper cups stacked beside it. There's still some coffee left in the pot, and you pour yourself one. A cautious sip later, and you blink as you realize that Sayaka can in fact make a halfway decent cup of Joe. Not too bad at all.As you take another sip, you feel a sensation of warmth on your cheek. The same cheek Wendy had kissed, just before you woke up.An ex, huh? Well. At least...at least not everything in your past was horrible.Your Shield manifesting on your arm - the gears inside completely silent - you begin your own patrol. Wondering just what was it like to have someone nice.Well. Everyone should have someone nice, you think. You just wonder if you still deserve it.

“How ya doin’ in there, Whitey?” With a few clicks and hisses, the walkie-talkie lying on my table – well, what passed for a table in here – came to life, a sweet and cheery voice filling the stagnant air in Sub Zero. I pretty much jumped the moment I heard it – hell, I’d always jumped the moment I even thought I might have heard it – and scrambled over, tripping over my own stupid, numb legs in the process. That was pretty much the closest thing to a daily routine I had: read until she had time to come down, and trip over my own dumb ass when I heard her.“I’m...okay.” I just barely croaked it out. Same answer I always gave, and lately it felt lamer and lamer. “I mean, I’m good.” My voice didn’t wanna cooperate. I was trying to…to use it more, so it wouldn’t be so hard whenever she talked to me. She laughed, and the sound kind of made my heart leap into my throat.“Ya sound better lately. You ain’t gettin’ TOO used to that hellhole, are ya?” No. Maybe. I didn’t know, and I mumbled out some half-assed answer. It hadn’t been so bad, since she slipped this thing into my MREs. Snuck me a clock, too, and a game boy, and books sometimes. She always figured it’d be hell to sit here doing nothing, she said. I was pretty used to it, though.(1/7)
>>26581403Frankly after viewing the world through Sayaka's starry eyes for a few threads, I think her word should mean jack shit when it comes to getting stuff done. We've had more trustworthy people betray us in the past, and we know that Sayaka has refused to do jobs before because they went against her moral code.If we explain where we're coming from in a calm, reasonable, and serious manner, she should understand. If not, then maybe we should reconsider her position. We can't do shit with an aid that won't do what we tell her to, no matter how political an appointment it was.
>>26581495“Aw, geez. It just sounds depressin’ when ya say stuff like that.” I laughed. I mean, yeah, it kinda did. It was a dumb way to think, sure. But things could always get better, right? They were better now, even. I wasn’t surrounded by a bunch of other sick people. Nobody was going to surprise die on me. That was seriously the worst thing, man. You don’t even know. …Well, I guess magical girls were kinda used to that too. Shit.“You…Goddamn, son. Yer a real ray’a sunshine, ain’t ya?” A huff. …Even that sounded kinda warm, coming from her. “When…when we get ya outta there, we’re not gonna talk about none o’ that anymore, alright? You ain’t get ta witch out three steps out the door.”I mumbled out a little apology. I wasn’t upset or anything, I was trying to make a joke. You kinda have to after a point, right? “…Aw, ya got me. Just…kinda hard ta believe you can still joke in there, some days.”---(2/7)

What’cha call a, uh, heavy reader. Mostly sat around playin’ vidya games’n watchin’ Chinese cartoons, ‘n readin’ on the playground instead’a shootin’ at birds or squirrels. She got picked on a whole lot.”I bet Mary beat the shit out of ‘em for it.“Yup. Every single one. Broke a couple noses, couple arms. Couple balls, too. Ain’t nobody fucks with the Springfield Sisters. …But she’d still get all mopey, ‘n start sulkin’ around in our room. Wouldn’t come out for nothin’, ‘n Ah’d sit up against the door jus’ like this, ‘n she’d sit on the other side.”That’s what I’m doing, too.“I could kinna tell. I could…sorta feel ya there.” I mumbled an apology and started to move, but my walkie talkie rang out. “You best not be movin’. It ain’t that. Ah just…Ah mean, it’s almost…warm. S’nice.”…Yeah. It was really nice, in a weird way. I couldn’t really explain it, so I tried to remind her of where she left off instead.“Right, yeah. So we’d sit’n talk just like this, ‘n she’d bawl, an’ Ah’d get mad again, at her for bein’ a wuss and at everyone else for makin’ her feel worse. Worry it mighta…screwed her up, sometimes.”“…Nah. You’re her big sister. S’probably why she’s tough now. You just had to…protect her until then. And stuff.” It sounded better in my head. Everything I said to Mary sounded better in my head. She gave me a weak ‘heh, yeah’ in response, and I scrambled to find something to talk about and fill the…no, fuck it. It wasn’t to fill the silence.(3/7)
>>26581479> first nightday 1 of 4...we're going to pass thread 200 before we finish this assignment...
>>26581479Will we be able to order a 9th Officio Magical Girl's Uplifting Primer while we're here, and get a chance to read through it, during this contract?
>>26581504I just…needed us to keep talking. This whole room was a lot brighter when she was there. I tried to say that much, at least, but it caught in my throat, and I ended up going on about some of the people I knew once. This one guy and his little sister, mostly. Guy was an asshole. A real motherfucker, like, I’d seen him sneak medical supplies out and try to stab nurses and stuff if they got anywhere near his sister and him.I helped him do it a couple of times. Dunno why exactly. I guess we were friends. He was older than me, but he was…cool. Everyone does dumb shit sometimes, right? For cool people?“Is this…uh, is this gonna get depressin’?”…Huh?“Ah love it when ya start talkin’, Sab, but every time ya start talkin’ about th’hospital, somebody dies.” She was quiet. …I couldn’t tell what she was thinking through the stupid crappy sound quality of the walkie talkie. “He dies, don’t he?”…Yeah. They shot him, just a little bit before I contracted.“…And yer still makin’ jokes? I…Jesus, Sab.”…Sorry.“Naw, it’s…Ah’m gonna… …Gimme a few. Arright?”---(4/7)
>>26581518It took about an hour, but that was fine. Wasn’t like I had anywhere to be. I sat there by the door, waiting, staring down at the walkie talkie. There weren’t really any other sounds in there…like, ever, so it pretty much scared the piss out of me when the heavy duty doors behind me started to…click. I fired off a barrage of swear words in my head and pushed myself to my feet, bolting for the back of Sub Zero. The field was gonna get screwed up like this, wasn’t it? Shit, I didn’t know how this stupid room worked. Why were they opening the door? Who would do that?“Aw man, this place sucks. The hell’re ya hidin’, Sab?” Her…her voice echoed through all of Sub Zero. No walkie talkie garbling it, no…no ambiguity at all. …I smelled. I knew I smelled. I looked like a hobo in a dirty fucking hospital gown. I couldn’t. I couldn’t do this. That was how she’d think of me forever. “…Sab?” Shit she was getting closer fuck me fuck me fuck me. I tried to drag a blanket over myself, but the stupid thing got caught on some debris, and then…“You playin’ hide’n seek or somethin’?” I looked back, and…and there she was. Golden hair that just…shined in the dim light, and…and she was wearing even less than I was. Denim shorts, and-was that a bikini top? Oh man she was gonna freeze her ass off in th..yeah, she…she already was-“Hey…Ah ain’t gonna hurt ya or nothin’. It’s Mary. Y’know. From the walkie talkie.” She grinned, and it lit up the room. Not literally, but, like…I dunno. I just sort of stared at her. I didn’t know what to say, my heart was beating out of my chest. “…Ah, uh…Ah brought ya some ice cream. Figured we could split it.”…Yeah.…That’d be cool.---(5/7)
>>26581419I figured out what the warmaster's cap does for us, for any couple that's already involved that we know of, it gives them mega lady boners. If it's someone we like* and we know, it makes their posterior's look larger to us, or maybe it actually makes their butt's bigger temporarily. After all, Chiaki likes big butts and doesn't give enough of a fuck to lie. If it really is slaanesh in that hat, it makes sense, since if the warmaster has a desire, slaanesh will make it excessive, which goes back to the hat causing people to have irresistible lady boner's for each other, maybe Chiaki has a thing for watching/voyeurism.
>>26581526…They didn’t know what to do anymore. I could barely get the MREs down before they rotted away, and MREs are pretty much designed not to do that ever. I hadn’t heard from her in days, not since the walkie talkie gave out. I think it’s days. Calendar turned to shit, too. Clock’s rusted up. Game boy’s dead. Couldn’t even read a fucking magazine anymore.…I didn’t know what to do either. I was scared. Terrified, even. I’d done some pretty awful shit, but…I mean, that was supposed to be the end, until they could fix me. I was supposed to get out. I was…sort of sliding toward the end of my rope, and the whole thing was rotting away above me on top of that. It’d been nice for a couple months, though. Since she started talking to me. …I could almost hear her for a while, when I held it tight enough. But that just made it rust away faster. The door started to click, days, or maybe weeks after everything was gone. I didn’t bother running this time. …It was…I hoped it was her. It had to be her.…She looked so sad. Like she was gonna cry. Just seeing her like that made me want to throw up. And it was only gonna get worse, if she stuck around.“…Don’t go tellin’ me ta leave,” she sighed. She could pretty much read my mind, even though we’d only met face to face a couple of times. “You missed me, didn’tcha?”…Yeah… I fought back tears as hard as I could. Resisted the urge to…to hug her, or something. It’d probably kill her. Didn’t stop her, though – she kept on moving toward me. I started to inch away, then she…dove. Practically tackled me, and buried her face in my dirty hospital gown, arms wrapping around my neck.(6/7)
>>26581479Does your real laugh sound like "hahaha!"?
>>26581535“…I’m gonna get you outta here. Just…just hang in there a little while longer. We got a plan, okay?” Her voice was straining, and…shit. I could feel wet, warm blood soaking through my gown. I tried to shove her away, but she dug her nails in. “I said ‘okay’? You gotta promise yer gonna hold on ‘til then.”…She was gonna die if I kept her here any longer, but…but my arms slipped around her, too. For just a second.…I promised, but only if she got the hell out. Like, now.“…Heh…worryin’ about me…it don’t even hurt.” …I could feel her fingernails loosening. Coming off of her hands, as she held on tight. “…It don’t even hurt, but…”“Get out, man. You’re getting my prom dress all teary.” It was a lame, shitty joke, and I gave her a lame, shitty smile to go with it. She wouldn’t look at me, just pulled away. A mess of golden hair finally tarnished by this stupid, awful room. …No, tarnished by me. A mop, over a bloody mess that should have been her face.“…I’m gonna get y’out. I promise,” she mumbled one last time, before striding toward the door. …She was going pretty fast, but I could tell she was trying really, really hard not to look like she wanted out.“…Yeah,” I whispered into the dark after her, as the lights in the room started to flicker and die. “I know.”(7/7)
>>26581503No. Shit like this is stupid.
>>26581479I knew it.http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Magical%20Girl%20Noir%20Questthread archived, have a good night gents.hooray, we can still functionally get along with Sayaka!
>>26581479Is neco really a mild mannered reporter?
>>26581496I disagree. We frequently get bad ideas, partly stemming from Chiaki's amnesia making her ignorant of certain aspects of the world, and partly because of /tg/. Sayaka is supposed to point out when an idea is stupid and tell us such.Such as your very own suggestion. Just because an idea is voiced in a calm, reasonable, serious manner doesn't make it a stupid idea.
>>26581541Don't worry Sab, we'll save you!waithold on a second
>>26581479How far are you going to let the write-up stories go? I know a few here and there aren't bad, they're nice to read, but having too many authors wanting to write OC stuff would get confusing. I have my own character, ideas and stuff but I don't really want to write anything that people wont read because the storyline is already confusing enough.
>>26581479Misaka demands Misaka demands more research funding for the BONTA-KUN prototypes , Beartiger !
>>26581494Er, of course! D:>>26581511I...I guess so! That's possible, yes. Sayaka should have one on her person.>>26581537I have been told that it sounds really bad for a laugh!>>26581579She is a fearless journalist, but otherwise she is just a normal, everyday, friendly neighborhood girl!
>>26581579watch NECO wind up being a warmaster for another officio or something, the Superman of Meguca'swouldn't that be some shit ehDecu, if Slaanesh is in the 9th's Warmaster's cap, are there other demons bound to the caps/uniforms of other officio's warmasters?
>>26581641>friendly neighborhood girlSo THAT'S how she got out the window.
>>26581647First Officio Callidus. Why else is she allowed to move through the different Officio's unhindered? The First is above all of the internal squabbling and rivalries, and has the best Magical Girls on the planet.
>>26581622Well, I usually talk with everyone who does the write-ups and help them find a place in the MGNQ storyline for their characters. MGNQ is a big place and there is a lot of room for content, whether they intersect with the main story or not. Even if they don't interact with Murderface they can also interact with the other Officios, or Kyoko, or Sakura, or Malal. As for the concerns earlier, Wendy was a character planned to heavily feature in Chiaki's past, definitely. It wasn't an afterthought!
>>26581667If QB is in on that, that would definitely explain why he's exceedingly calm about the situation, perhaps the mutant from the first has decided to keep closer tabs on the workings of the other officio's as kind of a quality control. Making sure the other incubators are keeping up their end of the operation and that their officio's are up to snuff.
>>26581676There will never be a MGNQ RPG where you play a member of the first, wandering the world, helping the other officios as needed.
>>26581641To what extent does her ability to break the fourth wall go?Are we being watched?
>>26581639Hahaha! Misaka needs to put in the paperwork for it!>>26581647Nope! The other caps are just extremely stylish. Chiaki's cap is one of a kind!>>26581667You make it sound like they're the Ultramarines of MGNQ! (They totally are.)
>>26581712of course anon. NECO is always on the ceiling watching while you masturbate.
>>26581676Is there still a chance at a wendy route. I know some people favor mami, and some favor the original cast harem route, there's a lot of midorifags out there, even a rurifag. but I'm a sucker for rediscovering romance and am curious if there's a possiblity of it happening.
>>26581717>Ultramarines of MGNQDoes that mean their warmaster is the spiritual liege of all other warmasters?
>>26581676I see. I'll look over what I have now and maybe contact you later... Err, how do you usually contact people?(I really have a bad habit of making an OC for every quest thread I've gotten into.)
>>26581737Don't forget Pinkyfags.Never mess with the original!
>>26581712Hahaha, no, she doesn't break the fourth wall or anything like that.
>>26581711i would play the fuck out of that.
>>26581706All of the Officios have to meet their quota's, especially after the Third stopped producing. How fortunate that NECO's start of her journalistic career generally coincides with the Third's deal to transfer all of its Magical Girls to the Ninth.
>>26581717Decu, who is the leader of the 1st officio? can QB text us a name?
>>26581717>they're the Ultramarines of MGNQ!Huh. I expected them to be Custodes.
Decupyon, was Pinky watching our ultra-lewd dream? Was she amused? Angered? Aroused?
>>26581774nah, the 1st is still an active officio, they just deal with the shit that would have Kharn pissing herself over.
>>26581676Huh. So does that mean the Wendy Cooldown author actually is a personal friend of yours? Or was it just a really happy coincidence that someone wanted to flesh her out?
>>26581773I'd put money on it being this universe's Homura.
>>26581737Oh, there definitely is a chance!>>26581742Quite so! >Amane HazukiAKA the girl from Tsukuyomi - Moon Phase, right?
>>26582023Too many just dilutes the whole thing.GreenGreen+Pinky was acceptable, adding Wendy, as much as I like her, is a lot tougher to justify. And any more would be a terrible idea for sure.
>>26582009>posts picture of a trapHa Ha Ha!Decu has had this planned for ages.
>>26582061Midori can be removed from the equation, if necessary.
>>26582061GreenGreen can go kneecap herself in the eye, pinky is too fucking fucked in the everywhere and is ruined for us. Thus the obvious answer is Watermelons. Hold on Wendy, your dark damsel is coming.
>>26582077Hell no! She EARNED her spot a thousand times over.
>>26582086..... Uh. You realise that a watermelon is green with pink inside, right? What did you *think* it was a metaphor for?
>>26582092Earn it or not, that doesn't make her any less of a generic moeblob.

>>26582155You have good tastes sir. Shion is best Higurashi.
>>26582138I'm not suggesting we remove her legs at the next opportunity, just put her in the zone of designated friends, the same place we keep sayaka. and turn that massive lady boner on our first and forsaken love, wendy.
>>26582168Nothing says we can't do both!
>>26582168this is pure truth, Wendy is (quite literally) the girl of our dreams, pinky is the girl of our worst nightmares, midori is...a bit overly friendly?

>>26582194Midori is the girl of our reality.
>>26582168>>26582194We shall have to duke it out like civilised gentlemen then. May the most determined faction win.

>>26582203Thats easy anon. You leave it ambiguous at the end or you become "kill-em-all" tomino
>>26582203How about Chiaki has them in turn? Like, Wendy one week, Pinky the next, then Midori, then back round to Wendy? Or is that still too close to a harem end for you?
>>26582203an hero two of them, preferably the pink one and the green one, only then will your conflicted heart be at ease. If you can't do that, then an hero yourself and we will carry on in your stead brave anon.capcha>some onLolicapcha confirmed for pinkyfag
>>26582194She said she'd like to warm our bed after just meeting us, while in front of our co-workers. Overly friendly is putting it lightly!
>>26582225Watch Higurashi, and learn.Unless you have and somehow still do this, in which case, uhhhhh. Got nothing.>>26582243Yeah, that doesn't sound very rewarding. Polyamorous would at least be better, if not good.
>>26582288That's actually how a lot of polyamorous relationships work. Not everyone can squeeze all their partners into one house. I just didn't want to mention it because other anon said they didn't like polyamory.
>>26582275precisely, she's a complete slut, she's probably got more diseases than the congo. and to top it off, she has no ass to speak of. too tall and lanky
Or we could just have Chiaki die alone.
>>26582310That sounds annoying to schedule even for a harem-type polyamorous relationship. In one where everyone likes everyone that seems like it'd be a disaster waiting to happen.
>>26582356It is, indeed, incredibly annoying and awkward to schedule. Google Calendar helps, but even then it's a pain in the neck. Big houses that can sleep lots of adults are really expensive in some places, though.
>>26582379You sound experienced in this matter.
>>26582379I think between the salaries of two and a half high-ranking magical girls we could afford to splurge.
>>26582379This is starting to sound suspiciously like personal experience talking...
>>26582398More like two and one tenth, there's no way a turncoat would be considered a high rank no matter what her warmaster says.
>>26582331I don't think /tg/ would allow this kind of ending
>>26582325>no ass to speak ofIt's because of our relationship with Midori that NECO calls us an ass man.
>>26582411Hah! Two and a Tenth.
>>26582391>>26582404*whistles nonchalantly* That's starting to drift into horribly off-topic territory.Yes. It's awesome.

>>26582588Yeah I know where Midori's design comes from. I was expecting the first result to be something Higurashi related.
>>26582588Pinky is our Beatrice. Calling it now.
>>26582657I hope not. From what I've seen Umineko went really fucking weird after the authors friend died.
>>26582682It did, and the ending sucked. Not that magic fights that may not exist aren't already weird, but yeah, shit got weirder. No pressure, Decu. No pressure at all.
>>26581641>I have been told that it sounds really bad for a laugh! You're not Moonite Jimmy Carr, are you?
>>26582706Well to be fair, Umineko's biggest issue was that it spent a shit-tone of time and resets on one central mystery, and by the end so many misdirections and sub-mysteries were in play, and things had escalated so far, that it was pretty much impossible to end things well. Decu won't run into that particular problem at least.
>>26582752Should have just stuck to the same basic formula as Higurashi: Find the gold. People die under different circumstances every time, reset until good end.
>>26582785Yeah...honestly I thought the escalation in the first 4 games was okay, and even Erika&Co in 5 were fitting in their way, but episode 6 and on...
