@GhostAdjutant

Your codename is Delta Phoenix. You were once a ghost of the Terran Dominion. After Arcturus Mengsk died and Korhal fell you defected from the Dominion. Now you fight for freedom and attempt to unify the fringes against a coming Zerg threat. The Dominion continues to hunt you, as do criminals and bounty hunters.

Your task is impossible - and that's optimistic. The fringes are spiraling into civil war, losing planets to the Zerg and Protoss, and the Dominion is preparing it's ships to reclaim the worlds for the crumbling empire. Even with your skilled crew you're starting to doubt your mission is even possible. But you still have to try.

Your fleet, The Daluke and The Last November, are in orbit over New Albuquerque. The People's Republic of New Albuquerque and the New Albuquerque Confederacy have reached a steady peace for now.

Adjutant A.I. Online.
Good Morning, Commander.

Reinforcements, including Medivacs, have been trained at your base on Murric and will rendevous at your next destination.

Additional bases are required to secure additional Vespene income.

Today's agenda requires your next terrazine treatment, if you wish to remain on the suggested regimen.

Check star map and adjutant what planet needs our attention today

Depends, how's that terrazine substitute coming along?
>>
Of course take treatment and where is the beat location for vespene mining
>>
I think with Alb outta the way we should go zerg hunting.

>Jungle World XTYU003: Edge of Protoss space. Protoss ruins on planet. Feral Zerg infestation.
>Gas Giant 09812Z "Henderson's Fart": Composed of Caslon, Hydrogen, Helium, Terrazine, Vespene, and some Alcohols. Vespene mining station in orbit.
>Continental Planet 34R75 "Xander's rock": "Mineral, Vespene, and Jorium deposits. Hostile psionic wildlife. Dominion Bases Planetside.
>Volcanic World HA002: Zerg Hive clusters in full swing. The planet is all but lost to the swarm.
>Forest World NN014 "New Ares": Crashed Protoss mothership. Potentially hostile Protoss survivors present.
>Urban World Kilaro: Kilaro's government is under siege by a Dominion fleet.
>Space Platform A-22-OP/Tarento: Abandoned space platform over a Dominion-Loyal Corporate Nationalist government. Government is all but a Dominion puppet state at this point.
>Nohallan: Ice Planet home to viking Mercenaries. They are wanted by the Dominion for multiple piracy operations. Hostile wildlife and environment.
>>
>>26437978

>Barren World JZ01919/ Dick's Paradise: Mining Platform over a planet high in inorganic salts. Mining station is mostly abandoned. Zerg lifeforms minimal.
>Murric: Primary agricultural planet of the region. Home to Alpha, Beta, and Delta bases.
>Corendis: Jungle Planet home to big game hunters. Base locations available. Reports of Dark Templar. Zerg sightings and possible hives appearing.
>New Albuquerque: The New Albuquerque Confederacy is waging a guerilla war against the People's Republic of New Albuquerque. The PRNA is a communist dictatorship and will assume control of the planet in 2 days.
>Station 114: Previously a Confederate mining station, now home to Ex-Confederate mercenaries and pirates. Large black market presence.
>Skorpia Shipyards: Dominion Fleet staging grounds over Vespene Gas Giant "Greth". Currently at minimal defense as it's fleet has been deployed.
>Jestos: Zerg occupied Urban World that fell during the Brood wars. Occupied by single unified brood, Zerg biomass is increasing.
>Promeshi: Scanners indicate multiple Radiation spikes consistent with a nuclear Arsenal. Records indicate that this is a Dominion mining operation.

Can we ask the base at Henderson's fart to start mining Terrazine too?
Or do we have to go and visit them for that?

I wouldn't mind checking out New Ares, but I'd like your advise on that Adjutant.

How powerful are the Viking Mercenaries?
Would building more of our own be better?

Xander's rock, Ask the good doctor if we could benefit from the Psionic wildlife, and ask her how the brain is going.

>>26438008
Would Raiding the Zerg world be any sort of idea to do?

Any ideas about the Mercs and Ex-confederates on Station 114?
>>
>>26438008
Since the Volcanic world is lost to us and the Barren World has very minimal zerg life signs I say we head out to Corendis.

A) We have sighting of what might be our "friends" the dark templar and there are the beginning of a zerg infestation.

Crush them before they have a foothold on another planet.

There is no reason to have your automated refineries harvest terrazine when vespene reserves are critical, commander. You currently have no use for the gas.

The Protoss Survivors are likely to be hostile at this time.

The Nohallan Mercenaries are widely known as the best pilots in this region of the fringes. We are unable to construct vikings at this time.

I will contact Doctor Nelhav with your request.

Protoss Ground forces cannot be calculated, but a full mothership escort was available prior to your intervention. You can expect heavy resistance.

We have already salvaged Dominion operations for technology recovery, and phase disruptors and psi blades are being examined.

It is possible, Commander, but highly inadvisable.

It is not possible for FTL transmissions to reach through Nohallan's hostile icy atmosphere. It may be impossible from Orbit as well. A land-based operation may be required to make contact.

Red, White, and Blue move forward. You follow them, running the knife over your fingers. The metal below your feet echos as you walk down the compound's hall. Blue speaks, she's the technical expert of Murric's team.

>"The artifacts are Xel'Naga in origin. Psionic, we believe, as they're prone to random bouts of telekinesis. We can't interact with them, however. Something more... powerful is required."

You sheathe the knife into it's holster on your shoulder.

>"Protoss, maybe?"

>"Likely. We don't know of any that'd be willing to help us, and given that we've kept this discovery immensely classified, we can't risk attempting to find one under we understand fully what it does."

You walk down the Academy's halls, escorted by November. He's oddly silent, though you might just be paranoid. He tends to be quiet.

You enter the Commander's office. General Tygore is in the office, along with several other ghosts. You don't recognize their division signias, but they're obviously not standard ghosts.

>"Delta Phoenix. Please, have a seat."

You comply, slowly, looking briefly at the Commander, then to the General.

>"Eight times, you've been reported to attempt to desert your station. Eight times, you've attempted to leave our network and go AWOL."

You speak quickly, you've been in this seat before, with him saying the same speech.

>"Seven times, General. Not eight."

Tygore looks briefly towards November, who hangs his head and averts his eyes. That bastard sold you out! He then looks back to you.

>"Eight. Up until this point your prowess in combat - and your commanders repeated petitions - have been the only thing keeping you from total memory wipes. "

You stand up and reach for your sidearm. The two ghosts have already moved towards you. You punch one across the chin, but he doesn't seem to register it as he restrains you.

>"You can't do this, Tygore! I'm the best agent Phoenix team has! You do this and you lose everything!"

The man continues to stare at you in silence for several minutes. You draw your sidearm and end his life despite a protest cut short. He goes limp and your men slide him off the side of the transport. His body hits the dune in a cloud of sand.

>"Commander, the XO has confirmed our coordinates. We're ready to jump as soon as you are."

You stand up, a little woozy at first, and make for the bridge. You give the XO the order, and the ship warps to Kilaro. The familiar sight of multiple battlecruisers raining death towards another fleet greets you.

>"Multiple contacts. Reading familiar IFFs. Battlecruiser Gamma, confirm your status."

If one raven gives them enough coverage to protect their entire fleet, then we're simply screwed.

We pack the drop pods filled with explosives and launch them towards the raven. Being fragile and shit no doubt the shrapnel of the exploding drop pod will rip up the raven. They probably won't fire upon the drop pods thinking it's just some type of diversion or trick and shit.

Also fill them with some EMP grenade types so they'll unleash an EMP when set to explode.

If you can't launch a drop pod launch our escape pods instead. No doubt they'll try to capture them and BOOM

Our resources:

Their resources:
5 battlecruisers, 25 vikings, 3 ravens

We board a battlecruiser, turn its guns on one of the ravens, then yamato the other two, and then have the wraiths move in and attack the remaining fleet.

That's really the only option I'm seeing here, as stupid as the idea of trying to hijack a battlecruiser with only a few guys is.

>>
>>26443103
So we'll do some tech use and make it shoot everything.

Ok. Use our Yamato cannons against Ravens 1 and 2.
Fire missile batteries against enemy battlecruisers, targeting the bridges/sensors. If they can't control the ship, or target directly, then the combat effectiveness of their ships is decreased in the extreme.

Purple, Orange, and the Valks shield around us.

If the enemy fighters come, our fighters engage with assistance from our 2 battlecruiser's point defense lasers, and manned defensive batteries.

Reload and fire the long range missiles as fast as possible and fire off more volleys.

Fire off Yamato cannons again if we survive that long.

This quest is faaaar too deep and complex for the people of tg
>>
>>26443552
Dialog is not a game of chance, commander. Suggested dialog options are used and have an effect depending on how persuasive they are.

Viking missiles are designed for fighters, not a single jetpack going at extreme velocity. Additionally viking missiles are not seeking. Evasive maneuvers are extremely prevalent.

The main problem would be aiming at such high speeds, and stopping.
>>
>>26443588
FUCKING THIS.
have you seen the dialog these hacks write?
If a person tells them "I don't like the color red" the response is, yeah, but what color red is your favorite?
>>
>>26443614
> This quest is faaaar too deep and complex

That's not very hard when the complexity is based on the system being completely concealed. Hard to be good at a game when you're not allowed to know the rules.
>>
>>26443623
Would you really expect us to come up with "Lets jetpack Delta towards a raven in the middle of a space fight" over, "Lets have Delta invade a BC and make it wreck shit."
>>
>>26443623
Heh, that's what I meant. We're not really good at writing persuasively, which sucks, because we usually try to talk people over to our side a whole lot.

Point is, it's just easier to blow stuff up, which is where I started leaning the longer I stuck with you Adjy.
Hope that's alright.

And...so you're saying we would've been agile enough to avoid alllll dem fighters?
Wow...well, honestly I don't have the confidence in our rolls for that. So...even if it had been presented, I'd probably still pick the one we have now.

>"Get me a drop pod prepped, XO. Launch our fighters and fire Yamatos. Run interference in the dark until we can take out the third raven."
>"Aye aye, sir."

You head to the deployment tubes and board the pod. Charlie, Jessie, Henderson, and the other members of Helldog squad board with you. The door closes, the light changes from green to red, and your stomach enters your chest as the pod is launched at the battleship at the center of the enemy formation.

The outside world explodes in sound, as the drop pod breaches the hull. There's a brief moment of silence where you're stopped, and then the doors open in each direction. Gunfire roars as your squad ejects into the chamber. The large reactor glows brightly. Chunks of debris, streaks of blood, and various tools float about as the room has depressurized and gravity is all but gone. You're fortunate enough to have boarded the enemy's main power.

Well, to be fair, that wraith chase option is not apparent at all. Perhaps it's because I play Protoss, but I thought Wraiths were average speed and Vikings were fast.
>>
>>26443852
Vikings are 2/3rds as fast as wraiths, and Ravens are slightly slower.

The problem is that the battlecruiser is slower than all of them and would've taken serious damage.
>>
>>26443762
>"Boss! I dunno if you've noticed but we're kinda in a hostile battlecruiser, an' we kinda need to move. Focus, would ya?"

Henderson snaps you back to your senses. You've taken the reactor room. You could rig the entire thing to go critical, or attempt to take over weapons control or the bridge.

The enemy raven is in range of the battlecruiser's reactor's critical explosive radius at this time.
>>
>>26443915
Take Weapons control
>>

The main problem is EVERYONE AND THEIR GRANDMA IS OUT MINING US

For a number of reasons, but mostly because we waited too long to get into the base race and now, when we can't afford them, we're getting epic failures all around the board.

That's why I fear the quest will end in failure really: The God of Death rolls. Sure, we're dumb, but the dice have been crueler then they've needed to be.

The reactor is set to explode. Your squad moves to the enemy shp's drop pods, dodging fire more than shooting at the enemies. As you reach the pod you have an idea. You set the coordinates for the next ship in line, right in it's reactor.

>"I like how you think, Commander."
>"Aww hell. I only signed up for one battlecruiser, I got a card game to get back to."
>"Suck it up, Lieutenant!"

The pod launches free. The initial shaking is nothing compared to the shockwave of the exploding battlecruiser behind you. Several warnings sound.

>"We're off course! Goddamnit, we didn't get free in time! Everyone hang the hell on to your ass!"

Moments later you're on the cold floor of the battlecruiser. The hull's torn open so that you can clearly see Kilaro... above you. Something is very wrong.

>"Get up, Commander! No time for a nap!"

Your men are already shooting. Apparently your drop pod hit the bridge at an angle and tore a hole several dozen feet across the ceiling. That's when you sense something.

Alpha is on this ship.

>"This ship going to make it, Henderson?"
>"Nah, we're in the gravity well, Atmo's going to burn it to hell. We need to get off this ship. Now."

>"Let's get to the landing bays, now! We can get a dropship and get out of here."

>"You heard the commander, move it!"

There isn't much resistance, as most of the crew has already made for the escape pods. The ship's artificial gravity starts to fail, only to be replaced by the much lighter planet's gravity at awkward angles, for moments at a time.

The dropship is pressed up against a wall because of this, but you manage to get your crew onboard. Engines start, and you aim for the landing bay's doors.

They won't respond to the ship's commands, you have to open them manually.

>"Jessie, take the helm. Hold position."

You rush out to the door's opening mechanism and place a D-8 charge. You start to run back to the Dropship, when something trips you. You hear the distinctive sound of a ghost's cloak deactivating.

>"Delta..."

You grab your sidearm and turn around. You're about to take the shot when your charge goes off. The door's blown open, and the room immediately starts to vent. The Dropship is torn out to space. You lock your arms around a pipe and hold on for all your might.

Eventually you let go, now weightless in the depressurized compartment, with no sign of your target.

"Do you know what happened after I stopped being controlled Alpha with no memories of what I had done or that I had a team waiting on me? I did the only thing I could remember. I killed and tried to carve up some sort of peace on the fringes.

We might have been monsters, but we were still a team and he had each other. (Start to name of things that we remember: Alpha and the open air restaurant, November and how they never were able to change his voice, Echo and his crazy passion to learn about other creatures)
"We were monsters, but we had each other...right until they put me in resoc..."

The goal is to bring out some sort of emotion from Alpha.

Considering half of our terrible decision making is because of how they fucked up our minds (as represented by /tg/ and its fucked up decisions), a lot of this is actually because he let us get resoc'd.

Not going to write any dialogue never good at those things.

Though he has a point about the grudge so I guess we can admit that but we're not all knowing and all powerful, we're just human trying to get by with what we have and mistakes we're made and the losses were...bad to say the least but we're doing what we can.

Alpha

You know as well as I do that the Dominion is finished

What little control they have left will devolve into nothing but squabbling warlords after Mengsk death. He was the one holding everyone in line but now its just a matter of time before this part of the galaxy turns to shit.

But before that I want to make a kingdom
A kingdom where everyone has their own individual rights. No more brutalization of our people, a kingdom where we fight those damn aliens instead of hurting our fellow man.

Ironic isn't it?

We humans kill each other more often than the aliens.

I need to carve out ourselves a paradise before everything rots away. Sure it's shit right now but just wait and see. Those dominion forces right there you're working with is just gonna carve themselves a piece of old Mengsk pie

This. We're not going to get dialogue that is sufficient to please adjy enough to work. Might as well not bother.

Tell him he's right. Tell him you'll rejoin the Dominion, that you understand his points and want to be with him. If we do that, we will have Delta, our avatar, tell Alpha, the GMPC, that we are lost, frightened failures that need his guidance. We surrender to him.

I suppose it's fitting. Adjutant, I salute your excellent skill in emotional manipulation and terror tactics. I've never seen /tg/ so cowed and submissive in a quest before. Usually, the power dynamics are reversed, with players dominating the QM that tries to please them, but here it's the players cowtowing to the QM. It's an inspiration to all aspiring QMs.

I'm not going to take part in this as a player again, though. Not masochistic enough.

>"Then help me remember, Alpha. I only have bits and pieces of the old Delta. But she's still with me. Somewhere."

There are a few tense moments of silence, the horizon of Kilaro shrinking as the ship hurtles towards it at faster and faster velocities. You lower your weapon, hopefully.

>"I know you believe me. You would've actually tried to kill me by now if you didn't."

Eventually the figure of the other ghost emerges from the shadow. His own gun lowered. He puts the pistol away in it's holster. He approaches you, slowly.

>"And do what? Give up my mission here, help you rebuild the fringes to resist a single Zerg invasion, so they can devolve right back into shooting eachother until the next one?"
>"It's better than the alternative, Alpha."

He considers this a moment, before he raises his arms and signals you closer. You go in for the hug. You remember this embrace, somehow. You've been here before. And you remember... Alpha is a conniving son of a bitch.

That's when you feel the knife sink into your side. He leans in to the side of your ear and whispers.

>"You always were a sucker for cute boys, you know that?"

You fall to your other side, slowly in the low gravity. Blood floats away from you freely. You pitifully grasp at your side.

>"I am sorry, Delta. I have my orders. And you killed or robbed me of everyone else I ever cared about. Enjoy the rest of your stay on my ship. But I won't be joining you."

>"You... bastard..."

He blows you a kiss, with a slight hand wave, as he retreats to the ship's drop pods. You're unable to walk, and the battlecruiser slowly descends towards the planet.

You don't have any options left.

>"Delta to anyone on this channel. I'm stranded on the battlecruiser. I need evac."

You wait, listening to the radio silence. The atmosphere starts to press against the ship's fall. A loud, thunderous roar permeates everything...

Your suit registers an increase in temperature as the atmosphere starts to sublimate. Entire sections of the ship are pulled free, and eventually the forces are too great for you to resist in your weakened state. You're sucked from the bay of the ship and find yourself in free-fall. Of course it won't be the fall that kills you, it'll be the re-entry. Your suit isn't prepared for that kind of temperature or pressure.

You give up, and face the ground. It'll all be over soon. The battlecruiser breaks apart below you. Chunks of a ship the size of a city that'll no doubt turn your landing site into a charred heap of death.

That's when you begin to hear the engines. You turn to your left. A Dominion medivac is charging it's afterburners towards you. One of them... jumps out? A purple marine flies towards you, as he comes closer you can see he's connected to the medivac via some sort of Cord.

You know who it is long before he collides with you. The familiar face of Henderson chews on a cigar behind his visor.

>"Come here often, missy?"
>"Henderson, you glorious bastard."

He grabs on to you, and the cord starts to retract towards the medivac. Within a few seconds you're pulled aboard the ship, and the doors seal.

>"Dammit, sir, there are easier ways to get down to the planet."

>"Sir. Your mission was a success. The third Raven was destroyed by the initial blast, and it took the enemy fleet offguard. The remaining 3 battlecruisers inflicted minimal damage to our ships, but battlecruiser Gamma went down. We've evacuated their crew to the Daluke and are awaiting further orders.

Although Alpha manipulated you, he was right. This planet still needs to be properly helped before you carry on. You have plenty of supplies and schematics, and can commit to a larger operation if you feel it's necessary. I'll bring you the intel if you require it, Commander.

Commander, I have evaluated the situation and have several possible solutions.

>Issue supplies and Schematics, establish a base. 100% stability.
>Issue supplies and Schematics. 75% stability.
>Issue Schematics. 50% stability.
>>
>>26446766
glad to know that all that effort at a rather pivotal moment was wasted by the dice gods
>>
>>26446458
Does 1 allow us some modicum of control? I want to believe we don't just run around screaming and smashing things t random.
>>
>>26446794
any reason to not do 1?
>>
>>26446794
>Issue supplies and Schematics, establish a base. 100% stability.
>>
>>26446789
((I was nice and set it at 60, so you had a 40% chance, because Alpha genuinely had a thing for you, hence why you didn't sense it, but he's also the expert in backstabbing people with smooth words, and planned to do exactly that, which is the only reason he talked to you as much as he did.))
>>
>>26446736
>>26446766

So apparently since we always fail and the npcs always succeed, the key is to leave them all behind and go off on our own. Time to go back to being a ghost and not a commander.
>>
>>26446794

What about the local pirates? Can any of them be recruited as mercenaries? Failing that, can we carry out a raid, capture the pirates and have them recossed into marines on Muric?
>>
>>26446808
There are no minerals or vespene gas on the planet. While it will serve as a grounds for production and recruitment you will have to import all resources from other bases.
>>
>>26446812
Or we could just be confined to a straight jacket, relinquish control to the crew, and just play psionic radar for the rest of our lives.
>>
>>26446794
Any chance that you can actually tell us what any of those options do?

Obviously provide 100% stability.

Why wouldn't we?
>>
>>26446794
>Issue supplies and Schematics, establish a base. 100% stability.

Do this gathers another base so we can gather more minerals and have the base here focus on Air craft with enough ground forces to defend the base.
>>
>>26446811
Fair enough, cool scene.
>>
>>26446794
>Issue supplies and Schematics, establish a base. 100% stability.

As we have to import stuff, keep the base simple. Defences, sensor tower and say one rax.

>>26446826

>Issue Schematics to the Kilaro government and nothing else. 50% chance the planet will not have problems with pirates.

You know what? I agree with this. Let's leave the base management, politics and strategizing to the people actually good at this shit. As for ourselves, I vote we do a Kerrigan and just take a dropship, home in on the broodmother's psionic signature and do a suicide mission where we either take the mother out or die trying. Small craft will be easier to infiltrate, yada yada. If Adjutant thinks it's totally reasonable to jetpack into a fucking fleet battle, this should be totally viable. We're GOOD at individual action and infiltration.

Anyone in our crew that has a death wish can come along, too. I'm tired of this shit.

Downside to the first is that it would take time, manpower, and you'd have to maintain a steady flow of resources to support your base since the planet is one big city. Downside to two is that you'd be leaving everything to the government that fell apart previously and that you'd still need to provide them with enough resources to get back on their feet, which I assume would be quite a bit.

Kilaran Federation
Founded after the fall of Korhal, the Federation was a unification of engineers, scientists, and professors that saw the rampant strife in a lawless planet. Despite their best efforts the large population of the planet starved without proper trade lanes, as they were unable to protect against pirates.

Because of this, many of the original founding members of the Federation were replaced by well-meaning mercenaries. The government began to militarize, which attracted the attention of the Dominion fleet.

The Federation is a strange combination of well-intentioned extremists and intellectual idealists. Two ends of the spectrum that manage to balance eachother out enough to form a coherent government.

Been reading through the archives. Almost caught up.

I must say, I not seen a single quest that can match this one in terms of the sheer contempt that the QM has for the people participating in it.
>>
>>26447350
Have you seen as much bitching, stupid decisions or ignorance of game-pertinent lore in other quests?
>>
well, all I can hope for next thread is that we find Alpha, and set him and his ascot on fire
>>
>>26447356
Yes. It's fairly common in most quests on /tg/, probably because of the overlap between quest participation.
>>
>>26447373
The bitching and stupidity maybe - but there seems to be a serious lack of knowledge of Starcraft lore and game mechanics on /tg/, way more so that I would have thought.

The amount of times people tried to use a Banshee in space or against non--ground targets was staggering.
>>
>>26447356

You see stupid decisions, I see a player base trying to make the best out of incomplete information and QM-induced paranoia. Every "bad decision" is the result of the QM not revealing key information about a scene that would have affected the decision, and he's all but admitted that he makes that information up after the decision is made so he can fuck with the playerbase. This is designed so that whatever players do, they lose.
>>
>>26447384

That might be because several Starcraft II in-game single player missions (and multiplayer maps) set on orbital stations feature Banshees working just fine.
>>
>>26447385
He has said in the past and I am sure he'll say again in the future that it isn't his job to spoon-feed us information.

Too often we've rushed into things without asking questions, both of him and of our NPCs. As a commander, we will always get an initial amount of information, its up to us to ask for more and to theorize ways of getting ahead.

But if you really believe that this entire Quest is about making us lose, why are you still here?
>>
>>26447384
> but there seems to be a serious lack of knowledge of Starcraft lore and game mechanics on /tg/

Again, that's not exactly unique to this quest. Well, the Starcraft part, obviously, but people on /tg/ not knowing much about the lore/mechanics of a quest? That's pretty common.
>>
>>26447350
well he is a diamond league player, what do you expect?
>>
>>26447392
We've never fought on a space platform and people have tried to use them in actual space battles - typically against Dominion fleets.

You know this, don't try and twist the point. People come in here with no or very little knowledge of Starcraft and then get butthurt when their stupid suggestions are shot down because they are impossible.
>>
>>26447408
> But if you really believe that this entire Quest is about making us lose, why are you still here?

You know, just dismissing any sort of criticism with that is the reason why this quest has plummeted. Go into the archives. Look at the ratings. Now, all quests drop over time, but even long running quests can usually stabilize at some point. This one? It's just been going down.

The whole "oh, well, you never asked" is a dick move, and it pisses people off for good reason. And rushing things? He puts time limits on everything. Rushing things is required.
>>
>>26447086
How's the end-off coming along? We're about to 404 anytime now
>>
>>26447384

The lore and mechanics are applied arbitrarily. Some things work like in the game, some things work like in the cinematics. The QM determines what works in what way and does not share the information on the Quest's internal mechanics (which are the only mechanics that actually matter to this game, after all we're not playing SC here) to the players.

>>26447408
There are no correct questions to ask. When asked, NPCs provide curt, ambiguous answers that mostly amount to "do whatever you feel like, boss".
