Mission archives:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Ghost%20QuestQuest 16 and 19 under 'Space Waifu Quest'Resource list:http://pastebin.com/MWbqjUDPTwitter:@GhostAdjutantYour codename is Delta Phoenix. You were once a ghost of the Terran Dominion. After Arcturus Mengsk died and Korhal fell you defected from the Dominion. Now you fight for freedom and attempt to unify the fringes against a coming Zerg threat. The Dominion continues to hunt you, as do criminals and bounty hunters. Your task is impossible - and that's optimistic. The fringes are spiraling into civil war, losing planets to the Zerg and Protoss, and the Dominion is preparing it's ships to reclaim the worlds for the crumbling empire. Even with your skilled crew you're starting to doubt your mission is even possible. But you still have to try.Your fleet, The Daluke and The Last November, are in orbit over New Albuquerque. Your team infiltrated the People's Republic of New Albuqerque, disabled their anti-air defenses, and destroyed their capital building. The New Albuquerque Confederacy is mounting a more effective resistance with the support of your orbital drops.Adjutant A.I. Online.Loading combat situation, Commander. It may be prudent to begin playback of your "Sad Music" playlist, commander. Should I begin?
>>26418227I have Finally caught up! Lets get this done right tonight!
The smoking crater of the capital building lies before you. The behemoth head of the Daluke slowly ascends back to the heavens to resume it's vigil over the planet. >"XO, Status report on the ground situation.">"The initial support to the NAC in Ukrops destroyed most of the blockade. They weren't prepared for an orbital mech division to drop on their position. However, the counter-attack was severe. Marine and tank forces overwhelmed our reinforcements. We lost the Nomad and several SCVs. The base held but NAC casualties are high. The blockade is broken, however. Orbital teams deployed to Kessla and Jake's Forge went radio silent after heavy losses, we expect no survivors. The PRNA tank facilities remain online and our infantry forces are significanly crippled. Henderson and Barney are currently MIA, sir.">"And the others?">"Jessie and Helldog Squad's remnants reported an attempted regroup before we lost contact, outside of Jake's Forge."The HUD begins a readout of lost forces. Dozens of names are read off in one corner as the total tallies sit on the right, casually informing you of the deaths of countless marines. Among them you note Ryan Valero and Dana Jenkins.KIA:9 SCVs47 Marines24 Firebats24 Medics1 Nomad1 GoliathMIA: 3 Marines1 Firebat1 Medic
>"Tell me some good news, XO. Are the enemy forces prepared to surrender?">"After our losses, sir, it's incredibly unlikely. Their news networks are currently reporting that El Presidente managed to escape via an underground bunker. We can't confirm it as propoganda yet, but if she is alive she'll be making a speech.">"And the NAC?">"Mescal's rebellion was all but killed in attempting to get you planetside. Fragmented forces are in retreat. The NAC was able to retake Rose Sea with minimal resistance. Somptince is in open revolt, the NAC might take the city by itself. Starryburn is under NAC control with PRNA rebels still waging guerilla warfare. Silermount just had a major execution - several leaders of the Banker faction who were held in part responsible for the attack, so the NAC has next to no presence there, now. Waterton is completely PRNA territory, and they've fortified it with heavy AA and tank lines. NAC forces have been captured in Rhyta and are awaiting execution. No news out of Carrols one way or the other. Despite our losses at Jake's Forge, we've incited full rebellion in the population, and the NAC is supporting them as much as it can. Whotae has reported a change in allegiance, siding with the NAC instead of the PRNA. Los Ventis is reporting serious PRNA issues, mostly abuse by the PRNA marines that are 'off duty'. New Buffalo has fighting in the streets as the NAC attempts to retake the city. Kessla has cracked down, and they're basically under a total communications blackout."You stare at the Horizon. The sun begins to rise slowly, piercing the hazy darkness of the city, as if nothing had happened. In the distance you hear a car radio.>"Gooood Morning New Albuquerque! This is not a test, this is rock n' roll! Time to rock it from Mescal to Ukrops' DMZ! It's Oh-six-hundred, and what does the Oh stand for? Oh-my-god-it's-early! Speaking of early, is it a little too early to be that loud? Too late! Now let's hear it for 'Fortunate Son'!"
Rolled 7>>26418263Goddamit, did we roll bad?
>>26418366(That sent shivers down my spine. Why did we roll so badly...)
>>26418227>>26418263>>26418366Commander Shetberd reporting for...Shit.
>>26418416((Let me put it like this. You rolled above a seven -once.- You can guess where.))
>>26418366Well fuckI guess its time to go hunting for El presidente
>>26418508Adjutant I'm ready for the friendly protoss reinforcements now.

Rolled 20>>26418526I rather reinforce our positions that we managed to gain, and support the various open revolts happening.
>>26418508Just a request but could we have the information in >>26418366 set out in a way that doesn't make my brain hurt.
>>26418548You killed them, Commander.
>>26418566We get our remaining forces and send them all to Rhyta to rescue the rebel leadersSeem like splitting up our forces fucked us in the ass big time. Charlie, Delta and Enrique will get to the ruins of the capital building and fucking look for clues on the whereabouts of El Presidente and hunt her down
>>26418366Guess the only thing to do now would be to pull back let the Daluke maintain the blockade while Delta goes after the Presidente? Get Henderson to Rhyta to pull those boys put so they can be rearmed and help out unless there are not enough to bother trying to saveGet some back up to Jake's Forge with Henderson if the rescue mission is a no go with some actual firepower in the form of marines and some wraiths?
Commander, reinforcements from our bases on Murric are inbound. We can expect them in one day. I do not have exact rosters at this time, however we can expect mechanized and air support.Additionally, we have the following schematics available from our purchases on Station 114. If you would like to request any of these schematics before the next round of reinforcements now would be the time.>Armory >Crucio >Widow Mine>Medivac >Marauder>Hellbat >Nuclear Missiles >Hellion >Warhound
Rolled 12>>26418566Hmmm, Send Delta and Charlie to rescue the resistance leaders, Have any trained units or maybe Henderson to mop up the Prna in Starryburn, have those starports operational (maybe get some Murric support if NAC agrees)Adajacent, Check Somptince, Jake's Forge, New Buffalo, and Las Ventis and see how their battles are going and which will be best for our forces to support
>>26418614I support this, mostly. We can't let our heroes go missing, too many have died already. We need to get all resources invested in getting the team back together.
>>26418658Henderson and barney went dark. We need to find them first.
>>26418614>>26418622We have no intelligence on El Presidente at this time, Commander. An assassination mission is no longer viable. We do not have Radio Contact with Henderson at this time, if he is still alive.
>>26418647Gotta get that Medivac, Marauder combo
>>26418263Where were Henderson and Barney deployed?I say we go to Jake's Forge. We need to destroy the PRNA's siege tank capabilities and we may find our MIA squad there.Fuck those were bad rolls...our poor men and Nomad.
>>26418658Commander, the success rate of simultaneously issuing units to multiple locations has thus far proven abysmal. You may want to re-evaluate the strategy.
>>26418647>Medivac >Marauder>Nuclear Missiles
Rolled 16>>26418647>Medivac >Marauder>Armory We lost a lot of medics and we need medical equipment.Maybe and Armory too.
>>26418647I support medivac/marauder combo, maybe a few scout hellions to help. But first and foremost we need to get the team back together and get organized.
>>26418681Then the 3 operator combo would go and rescue the rebel leaders while the rest of our forces regroup and search and rescue our missing comrades
>>26418687They were deployed to Jake's Forge. Remaining MIA forces were deployed to Kessla.
>>26418647>Marauder>Medivac>HellionCould use them to try some hit and run tactics? Have Maraders hit the tanks and the hellions take out the marines or scvs?Or is that too...bloodthirsty for Murric?
>>26418647>Nuclear MissilesWe have orbital superiority, we threaten the communists with some nukes, they'll get talking quick!
Rolled 9>>26418699Good point, Adajacent, What will be the more pressing issues in which our forces can help with?
>>26418739Nukes aren't gonna win hearts and mind
>>26418739Last time they talked the woman was off her nut and believed us to be dominion spies, cant neogotiate even with nukes
>>26418711Deploy us and all units to Jake's Forge then.
>>26418750>>26418760Then we use them to crack tough enemy strongholds.Honestly, the longer we fight here, the more time the Zerg have to tech and gather resources.
>>26418705Second this. Also, lets begin propaganda broadcasts stating that El Presidente is dead. She'll either have to surface or they'll have to acknowledge that she's dead.Adjutant, can we block enemy communications due to the Daluke's orbital position?
>>26418730They're -your- bases on Murric, Commander. >>26418739Nuclear ordinance will destroy critical infrastructure if you do use it, Commander.>>26418760Given our repeated efforts to destabilize the region, her accusations may not be entirely illogical.Commander, if I may, now would be a good opportunity to contact your command staff for additional options.
>>26418799Coming here in the first place was a terrible idea, why would we even give ourselves the problem of letting commies have a planet. We just got ourselves into a Vietnam War.
>>26418842let's talk to are command staff then
Rolled 19>>26418799>/But the land will not be usable anymore. will piss off our allies.
>>26418842Whats Sall's opinion on getting this clusterfuck fixed then?
>>26418842>Nuclear ordinance will destroy critical infrastructure if you do use it, Commander. That infrastructure is probably going to be damaged by the war or by us anyway - but that is still a point to consider yes.>Commander, if I may, now would be a good opportunity to contact your command staff for additional options.Do it.
Rolled 4>>26418842Let's do it
>>26418869Which command staff would you like me to contact, Commander?>>26418827The Daluke does not currently have radio jamming equipment.
>>26418907Sall would have some experience in planetary sieges.
>>26418907>Which command staff would you like me to contact, Commander?Everyone we have who would have a valid opinion or advice.
>>26418907what staff other then sall do we have and what are their skills
Rolled 17>>26418907All of them?Wouldn't hurt right?
>>26418966Email draft:>To: Daluke Crew>CC: Murric Government, Kilaro Government, Dominion Tactical Advisors>"Hay guys I just started a war and it's not going so great any tips?"Should I send the email, Commander?
>>26419005Haha, why the hell not.Nah, let's get Sall, Mia and our Commodore's opinion.
Rolled 17>>26419005...is this a joke Adjacent?
>>26419005lets revise that a little bit. New Al has nearly fallen to the socialist faction. Daluke moved to intervene and its going less then smoothly. Requesting advice and any aid avaliable.
>>26419005Let's ask Sall and the commander of the other battlecruiser, oh and Charlie of course
>>26419005Er...no lets not.I would suggest talking with our XO on what would be the best objective to pursue at this moment, I am leaning towards getting the NAC leaders rescues using a insertion of either Delta and Charlie or finding Henderson and Barney at their last deployment
>>26419077We never split up Dee and Charlie. We almost lost her once, never again. She's all that we have left.
>>26419053No, Commander. My humor drives are offline. I am simply doing what you ask.If it seems to be a joke you may want to consider thinking more and relying less on A.I. assistance.>>26419056They are Communist, Commander. Not Socialist.
Rolled 17>>26419116Try to get and losing NAC for Evac, and if any are able to fight redirect them to fight that can be won?
>>26419149>>26419116How about BEFORE this turns into a fucking terrible war of attrition, we call for a planet wide EVAC and get the fuck outta dodge like the NAC commander was thinking should have been done. We can get back in by doing the small covert ops we are USUALLY good at.
>>26419104Wasnt saying that, meant to have them working together to rescue the NAC leaders or find Henderson and Barney at their last deployment. Also Ajutant whats Sall's opinion on what to do?After we do that rescue, I would suggest hitting the tank building facilities and getting the NAC some back up
Your insertion team waits planetside for several minutes before a Valkyrie lands for Evac. You board it and, before long, are back on the Daluke's bridge. You walk up to Sall, with Charlie and Enrique still following you.>"What now, XO?">"Well, sir. We've lost the bulk of our ground support. Mechanized units are currently holding Ukrops and I wouldn't let that fall or we lose the war more-or-less instantly. We have supplies and drop pods, the best we can do is resupply NAC positions.">"I like his idea, Dee. We can focus more on convert Ops until reinforcements arrive.">"I do not know if it will be enough, Señorita. Though your technology surpasses that of the PRNA, they have multiple cities producing soldiers. It would be wise to strike where we are needed most.">"Most importantly, commander, I advise you meet with the NAC's brass. They may have more insight than we do."
>>26419233>"Most importantly, commander, I advise you meet with the NAC's brass. They may have more insight than we do."Sounds good to me. Get them on the comms.
>>26419233"What would it take to pull our boys out of this hell and regroup?"
>>26419280We can't pull them all out, our forces are needed to defend Ukrops.
>>26419280stop pulling out would mean are losses would have been for nothing
>>26419280>"A dropship and 20 minutes, Commander. Although it's pretty likely the NAC won't hold out more than a few more days if we do."
>>26419233Get on the horn with NAC brass then, Im in favor of reinforcing the NAC where needed while we do a extraction of their leaders.
>>26419346I think that we need to go to Jake's Forge, that's where all of our Hero units went MIA.
>>26419233Ok, speak to the NAC leaders, and then I think we go with Sall and Charlie's advice. We reinforce Ukrops as a priority and then other NAC positions, and then we do covert missions with ourselves, Charlie and maybe Enrique, first to recover Henderson and Barney, second to destabilise PRNA recruiting cities. Once reinforcements show up we decide what to do from there.
>>26419325Stop thinking like Nixon. We either get bogged down and lose in the long run, or pull out now and win later. THIS. IS. VIETNAM. We dont win vietnam by committing.>>26419328We need to open coms with NAC. This planet will fall but if we can pull them out they can reclaim it later.
>>26419384Would need a time estimate then on NAC leader execution and how long it would take to find our hero units or how liklie it would be for our heroes to be killed
>>26419429this place is a major shipyard if we are pushed off we are not going to get back planetside
>>26419429We are not pulling out, this is not goddam Vietnam. If the planet falls, they will attack Murric within a few weeks, don't you understand that. If everything fails, we simply nuke the enemy opposition centers and let the NAC clean up the mess.
Adjutant do we know the location of the PRNA commanding generals and leaders? If so can we get a list and location?Perhaps we can reason/assassinate/recruit them
>>26419487>>26419492Damn the shipyards, damn the commies. They have only ground superiority. We can continue an orbital blockade but ground ops WILL NOT WORK. They wont attack Murric if they dont get off the planet but they wont get off the planet if we bolster the orbital containment. THIS IS EXACTLY VIETNAM. Do you even read what the OP types? Fortunate son, Commies, a losing republic faction? Dont let history repeat itself. Its time to leave the ground.
>"XO, get me a line to the NAC's leadership. We need to discuss what they know.">"Aye aye, sir."You stand on the Commander's platform and wait patiently. Eventually the main screen turns on and you're greeted by a familiar presence in a different mask.>"Whiskey...">"Delta."The major clears his throat. Three other men are present. They have some form of light CMC armor, concealing all of their features behind a tan visor and green coloration. Each one has a stripe across their chest, one red, one white, and one blue. >"Commander Delta. We've been able to confirm the status of the President, but we've held our position and taken several more. Right now our priority is the water facility. Our main force is going to engage the enemy there. We'll have our special operations team try to rescue our forces at Rhyta but it looks grim. We've only got a few hours left before it all goes down and even with four ghosts we might not have time.">Awaiting input...
>>26419566>What is the current situation at Jake's Forge?
>>26419562Vietnam was only lost due to us leaving we were winning
>>26419585It would appear that Murric had more supplies available than original suggested, Commander. The Major appears to be referring to the other 4 men in the command bunker, Whiskey included.
We should go on a recon mission, it'll probably be for the best, leave the NPCs to the war for now, lets do what we do best, be ghosts.
>>26419594>"Bloody. We've got marines and tanks blowing marines and tanks to marine and tank hell. Reinforcement isn't an option for either side so it's likely to be a slugmatch until one side can swoop in and clean up. They have air superiority, but we have superior ground forces. We think, anyway."
>>26419566Wait why are we gonna go for the water? The effects won't be immediate it'll take weeks before any combat unit starts losing water not counting on possible water surplus they may have.
>>26419597Any sort of advice you can give is from this point is untrustworthy and uncountable. You just gave me a terrible headache.>>26419639Adjutant, what sort of air power can we move in to support?
>>26419643The NAC's objective is the water, Commander. The facility is responsible for 68% of the planet's global water supply, and in some areas it is the sole contributor.Without water Dehydration will take it's toll on the NAC's forces almost immediately.
Rolled 14>>26419566Yeah, the water facility may not be a good idea, they are heavily fortified and we are already fighting several fronts as it is.Request them to redirect them to a more needed front.
>>26419668Valkyrie missile frigates will be able to achieve total aerial superiority if missile turrets can be deactivated first. Additionally, this will leave the orbital blockade less effective.
>>26419685But it'll also drive the population against us
Rolled 8>>26419685Goddamit....so what do they suggest? any way for us to ease the causalities?
>>26419685Fair enough. We have orbital control and air support assets, where are they needed most and where are areas with no AA?
>>26419708Did the turret system not go down, and isnt the Oribtal blockade essentially fubar atm?
>>26419698>>26419643>>26419710>"Let me put this bluntly since you aren't from around here. Without water we will lose this war. There is no other objective as valuable. None. We will die of thirst before we die of bullets. The topography of the planet doesn't allow for wells, and the average temperature is 100 degrees during the planet's winter. We cannot risk any other assets until we are in control of the only water source that can slake an entire army's thirst."
>This list goes on for hundreds more names of crew of the Daluke that've died.Just found this in the resource list...dem feels.
>>26419761>Where are the communists drawing their water supplies from other than this facility?
>>26419743Commander, if the entire planet's missile defense network was tied to one central hub, it would be extremely ineffective. The majority of missile turrets house a single operator and sensor suite independent of all other systems. You are simply fortunate that citywide turret defenses were automated on this planet.
>>26419777Most larger cities, such as Mescal and Las Ventis, have similar facilities.
>>26419761Fine then What are the defences like in the water producing installation? Perhaps we can sneak in and destroy their AA to get our battlecruiser to start slamming them
>>26419790So the multiple city defenses are down, but the water station still has air defense?
>>26419813So they are not easy to get at, gotcha.Second Green Squadron to assist the NAC in the attack on the water facility.Us, Charlie and a Marine/Medic strike team are going to Jake's Forge. We're bringing our lost boys and girls home and ending the stalemate there.
>>26419840Each city has it's own anti-air network, with a central hub controlling long-range targeting. Destruction of that facility will disable the turrets until the facility can be repaired.
>>26419761Before we get a vote under way, I want to ask the NAC how they would feel about leaving the planet and regrouping with Meric.
Rolled 19>>26419761I apologize, What can we do to help to ease the causalities.
>>26419881The war here is essentially at a stalemate - why would they give up and retreat, only to come back and assualt a hardened enemy in a month. Also, all of their native supporters would either have to flee or be executed, that's a lot of people. We are not evacuating and neither are they, stop asking its stupid.
>>26419910really wish he would stop but you know he is not going to
>>26419881>"They have enforced inhuman laws.... They have built more prisons than schools. They have mercilessly slain our patriots, they have drowned uprisings in rivers of blood. They have fettered public opinion.... They have robbed us of our shipyards, our factories, our homes, and our loved ones..."The major stares at you for a few moments.>"How would you feel about it?"
>>26419961I would want payback
>>26419961As much as you might not like to hear it Major, an exit strategy is always required. What would you like us to send you?
Rolled 8>>26420004As much as a retreat is nice and all, can we stop saying things to piss off our allies?
I think pulling out is not an option right now. I vote we help take that water plant.
Okay I say we do thisRegroup our forces and go down onto Jakes forge and search and rescue for barney and HendersonWe then get Charlie, Enrique, and Delta to get down onto the water facility and sabotage them before they send in any more reinforcement to assault the water facility
>>26420029no splitting up.
>>26419910( I've spent the last half month catching up on this thread, and you can't hide stupid. I'm trying to fix the stupid. Help me fix the stupid, or continue the stupid.)
>>26420040(your just adding your own brand of stupid.)
>>26420029Second this.Lets give the NAC one of our Wraith squadrons for the attack though. Most of the enemy (aside from fixed positions), seems to lack dedicated AA and our Wraiths do have stealth reactors.
>>26420029We're not gonna accomplish much without splitting upThe only thing we fucked up is splitting up our main assualt force. With this idea our force is big enough to not totally get fucking rolled overWe also need to send in support to the water facility but fuck if we're gonna send our men into battle of Stalingrad II. We need to send in spec ops to weaken their defences for air superiority and to bomb them into submission
Commander, I am registering several divided consensuses. Please assist me in resolving them.>Split up forces>Y>N
Rolled 1>>26420092Agreed but only the fortifications though, make it easier on the main attack, we must not hit the water plant.
Rolled 5>>26420149How long will the resistance leaders last before getting executed?
>>26420149never split the party
>>26420149We need to split up, our marines aren't going to be much help on SpecOps missions after all.Just make one split, our main force and then Dee and Charlie.
>>26420197Several hours, Commander.
>>26420149Depends by what does it mean splitting up forcesHave Enrique, Charlie, and Delta accomplishing their own objective and have the main force regroup Or are we gonna split up our main battlegroup? If the later nope
>>26420233You do not have enough of a main battlegroup to effectively split, Commander.
>>26420149Have we gotten word from Henderson yet Adjutant?
>>26420269I will notify you if any ground teams break radio silence, Commander.
>>26420260So is it the later?
>>26419668Holy fuck you're stupid. Americas Vietnam presence ended with the North signing an armistice, then attacking the south a decade after we left.NVA regiments were in tatters when we left and the Vietcong ceased to be a coherent force after the tet offensive. The only issue is retards still liek to divide up forces despite it NEVER WORKING and violating several well known tactical principles.
>>26420307>It is not the latter.>So is it the latter?I worry about you sometimes, Commander.
Rolled 1>>26420226Can we send someone to save these guys, I'm worried that Henderson might be in there?
>>26420342Last we heard from Henderson he was at Jake's Forge assisting in the attack there with the rest of our 'hero' units - so I doubt that.
>>26420323Its a good thing I didn't support splitting eh?
>>26420330Oh god I worry about myself sometimes tooI meant is it the other with our 3 main heroes while the rest of the units are in one big blobI'm gonna assume it is
>>26420342It is 94% likely that Henderson is not located at Rhyta at this time, Commander.
Rolled 9>>26420361Do we know any of these leaders that are awaiting execution?
>>26420004FUCK.ALL OF OYU NEED TO STOP TRYING TO WRITE DIALOG. YOU'RE FUCKING BAD AT IT, AND YOU SAY THINGS THAT IN REAL LIFE WOULD LITERALLY GET YOU STABBED AT BEST.OH, YOU JUST TOLD ME YOU'VE LOST EVERYHTING AND ARE NOT FUCKIGN LEAVINGWELL... >>26420384It was a fun story Adjutant, I'll see you when its over.
>>26420376doesn't matter. THESE FUCKING IDIOTS HAVE BEEN DOING THE SAME SHIT LITERALLY SINCE THREAD ONE.LET'S REVIEW THIS ONE THREAD:>DIVIDE FORCES, BECAUSE FUCK CONSERVATION OF FORCE>SHIT GETS WRECKED, FORCES INSUFFICIENTLY POWERFUL TO SURVIVE A BAD ROLL>LET'S DIVIDE UP AGAIN!>MAJOR SAYS THEY ARE NOT FUCKIGN LEVAING>ASK WHAT HE NEEDS OT LEAVE>REBELS TELL US THEY ABSOLUTELY NEED THE WATER SUPPLIES FUCKIGN YESTERDAY OR THEY'RE GOIGN TO DIE BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO WATER AND IT'S A DESERT WORLD>BUT WE DON'T WANT TO! Commander, time is critical. Executions have been publicly announced and will be underway shortly. Determining available options.>Deploy Delta Phoenix, Charlie Phoenix, and Enrique to recover MIA units.>Deploy Delta Phoenix, Charlie Phoenix, and Enrique to recover MIA units. Deploy marines to assist NAC in Waterton assault.>Deploy Delta Phoenix, Charlie Phoenix, and Enrique to assist in Waterton assault. Deploy marines to recover MIA units.>Deploy Delta Phoenix, Charlie Phoenix, and Enrique to assist in Waterton assault.Should any other options be added to the vote?
>>26420498>Deploy Delta Phoenix, Charlie Phoenix, and Enrique to recover MIA units.
>>26420513That's already on the list, Commander. Should I add it twice just to be sure?
>>26420498>Deploy Delta Phoenix, Charlie Phoenix, and Enrique to recover MIA units. Deploy marines to assist NAC in Waterton assault.
Rolled 8>>26420498>>Deploy Delta Phoenix, Charlie Phoenix, and Enrique to assist in Waterton assault. Deploy marines to recover MIA units.
>>26420498>call down battle cruisers, kill everything
>>26420498Yes, add the Wraiths in - specifically Green squadron.
>>26420540Air support will be provided in any scenario where the turrets are offline, Commander.
>>26420528Seriously? If the marines get seen out there, they fucking die.

>>26420498>Deploy Delta Phoenix, Charlie Phoenix, and Enrique to assist in Waterton assault. Deploy marines to recover MIA units.I don't like it, but this water is critical to the NAC - without it we might as well not even be here.
>>26420549Can we recover out marines, and then drop them via pod near the turret contorl center for waterton?Cahcnes of them knokcing it out? Also, add "have the last November fuck watertons shit" to the list.We do not have enough ground forces, and the cruiser can handle a few turrets long enough to blast the control center without serious damage.

Rolled 4>>26420555It's a simply recovery mission, our ghosts are needed to mess with the main battle so NAC losses won't get screwed.
>>26420567No it isn't. We're throwing a handful of mariens into a fight where we already have gorund superiority to find MIA troops. We don't know where the MIA troops are.We DO know that if we insert, knock out the AA controls, and sweep away the wraiths, we'll win that fight and be able to go looking for our men. There's a good chance the marines will just get picked off by fighter cover/blasted by artillery.Waterton, however, is a meatgrinder which we will not do well at.
>>26420618Are you retarded? The area where we lost henderson is currently the scene of a full on battle with tansk and infnatry fucking each others shit up, plus commie air support. We can't just stroll in and recover our guys, they'd just call us if it were calm.
I vote 3
>>26420684To be honest, both fights are going to be meatgrinders - our men are going to die if we send them to either.Luckily we have a tech advantage and our Goliaths will be able to neutralize the Commie air support at Jake's Forge and hopefully without that the superior ground forces there will be able to push through - allowing us to find our MIA men.
Holy shit, the voters aren't being retarded.
>>26420743>goliathsHoly shit. You're dumber than I thought.Go look at our losses you retard. We only have ONE left. and no, they can't, because the wraiths here CLOAK.

The black mud stains your face. It's cold and flaky. You're in your clothes with only your combat knife clenched tightly between your teeth. One arm hangs limp in a sling, trying it's best not to hurt, what with being broken and all. You squint down at the darkness. Two marines guard this path. If your intel on landing was any good, this direction leads to the siege tank factories, and you still have a job to do.Barney, though he means well, can't hunch down quite as well as you. The top of his back is most likely visible out of the window, but fortunately the two guards don't seem to notice you.The two of you are all that's left. The Commander dropped you and a shitload of infantry right into siege tank production lines. Next time you need to barge in there and tell her that siege tanks counter infantry. It's the entire point of siege tanks. Siege tanks literally do nothing else. You reach for a cigar briefly, before remembering you used your last few.>"Alright big guy. Two guards. CMC-400's and C-14's.You ready to jump 'em?">Take the one on the left.>Take the one on the right.>Nope there are no other options you are Henderson.
Rolled 3>>26421080>>Nope there are no other options you are Henderson.

>>26421080>>Take the one on the left.
>>26421080>TAke the one on the right.
>>26421080>improvise a cigar
You jump out of the window, as does Barney. As you fall you grab the knife from your mouth. It pierces the visor of the poor Commie bastard, but fails to stab him. He throws you off to the ground, and you roll around to your back. he's already aiming his C-14 at you, his eyes glaring through the crack in his suit, before the other marine collides on top of him. You look on in disbelief. Barney apparently chucked his marine at the other.>"I got 'em Sarge!">"Good work, Kid."You stand and dust yourself off. For now the two PRNA goons are unconscious. What's your next move?
>>26421176Kill them, take guns, take CMCs, kill factory, go looking for cigars.
>>26421176We lack a CMC, lets take theirs - it'll also help with infiltration. (assuming we can get them out of them)

>>26421237Does it matter?Right now he's is, literally, a giant retard with no weapons, supporting a man with a broken arm.
Rolled 8>>26421225Also hide their bodies if possible, let's try to keep the stealth thing a little while longer?
>>26421237Boy's smart enough to point a gun and shoot it! How different can it be from a firebat suit, anyway?
>>26421213If they wake up in a cmc, we die. They won't be out long, they need to die right now.
>>26421284Obviously we take them out of the CMC before interrogating them.
>>26421297And hope they don't wake up before we get it off them.Bad plan.
>>26421307Hm, fair point. Kill em.
You pop open the CMCs easily enough. It's not like you're some kind of marine who doesn't know where the Zipper is to the fuckin' thing. You tie up the two guards and steal their suits.Yours fits fine, but Barney's is a little snug. The chest won't close properly, and his gut hangs out just above the codpiece. No one'll notice. The guards come to, with a little of percussive motivation. >"Where're the tanks, Amiguh?">"I ain't tellin' you shit, mang."You kneel down, slowly. The ethnically inclined gentleman seems incredibly defiant, but you can be an awful might persuasive when the situation dictates.>"Now, I understand, and frankly I don't mind, but my friend here..."You gesture vaguely at Barney. The commie's steely resolve visibly fades as you do.>"... See, he's the result of a top-secret Dominion experiment to mix Ultralisk DNA and human to create the ultimate soldier. Now, he ain't none too bright, but if he knows you're with-holdin' information of the important kind, he's liable to come over here, rip off your arm, an' beat your ass to death with it."A few moments of silence pass, before he spits on you. The nerve of these fringe yokels. You wipe it away nonchalantly.>"Barney. In-terro-gate this gentleman.">"I lost my partner, what'll I do~ I lost my partner, what'll I do~ I lost my partner, what'll I do~"You step back, and watch the CMC clad monstrosity go to work. Although he's slow, he follows your script to the word. You know for a fact that he's going to bleed out and die in a few short seconds, but you specifically chose the one that seemed less likely to give you intel. This whole pony show is for guard number two.>"Lou! Lou! Skip ta my lou!~">"Augggh! My arm! My arm you pinche cabron motherfucker!"Pop. Snap. Crunch. Slunk.>"Fly in the barn now, shoo fly shoo!~">"STOP! POR FAVOR, DIOS MIO!"Yep. Arms don't twist that way. They don't detach either.>"Skip, skip, skip ta my lou.~ Skip ta my Lou muh darlin'."~
>>26421464HAHAHAHA OH WOW.You did this just to give barney screentime, admit it.Also, when we die, you MUST have a barney quest.Possibly with us as a CO watching daisy and barney rampage in some other, less retarded timeline.
>>26421464Now, when he says he's lost his partner, who is he referring to?
The other guard's pale, horrified by the events he's been forced to hear and witness. You kneel down below him.>"Tanks.">"Two blocks up the road, three factories, they're lined up, Commissar is giving a speech before the next tanks hit the field, won't be many guards. Please, let me go. I won't tell anyone, man."This guy. He's pretty funny. What do you want to do with him?
>>26421551((Daisy died a while back, yo.))
>>26421573right, forgot about that.
>>26421560You any good at cooking kid?(Let's get ourselves another Chef)

>>26421560Punch, gag,. tie, leave. We're not going to be bale to avoid people noticing the blood stains if they patrol here anyway. That, or have barney eat them.
>"I appreciate your generous contribution to my intelligence."You sock him in the jaw with your CMC's fist. He's out cold. You open one of the nearby vehicles by punching out the window with the utmost finesse. You pop open the trunk.>"Toss 'em in, Barney."Minutes later the two of you march down and see the security checkpoint. You continue up to it, hoping your stolen CMC will be enough to bypass it.>"Security codes.">"We ain't got time for that, son! I've got a red-alert! NAC special forces made planetfall and they're on the way in here! I gotta contact the Commissar twenty seconds ago!">"Y'know the security codes take half as long to say, mang.">"Oh... well uh..."You look to Barney, hopefully. That's never a good sign.>"It's seven.">"¿Que?">"Tha' security code is seven."They stare at eachother for a few moments, in absolute silence. Barney's eyes, flaming with conviction, power the bluff through the realms of logic and reason. The guard opens his mouth, then closes it, several times.>"Man, the fuck are you trying to pull!?"You pick up a stack of papers on the security checkpoint's desk and shoot the man through the papers. The silent round pierces his face and the two of you quietly sneak into the siege tank factory line. There are twenty or so tanks lined up in siege mode opposite of the factories. Between the two stand a huge number of marines, and a single platform.>"Republicos! Atten-HUT!"Every marine on the grounds stands at attention. You and Barney have no choice but to fall in formation until an opportunity presents itself. A marine in similar armor with gold trim stands atop the platform. His visor lifts up, revealing a tan man with a black haired mustache.>"Revolutionaries! Soldiers of a free New Albuquerque! Men and women... of justice! Today we unveil an entire platoon of the finest tanks ever developed by PRNA engineers. These tanks, a marvel of modern science and technology, fire Hellstorm rounds!"
>>26421905The speech will likely continue on for some time. You have plenty of time to plan your next move.>"For those of you who are unaware. The Hellstorm round uses the same ammunition as firebats. The same as hellions. It shoots... fire from the sky. Promethium, able to burn through any armor, able to cling to any surface, will burn fear into the hearts of the Republic!"

Rolled 5>>26422006Hurry sneak in, grab a tank and burn them, maybe destroy the production lline while we're at it

>"Soon, the worlds will be freed! The people of New Albuquerque will be hailed as liberators! The bourgeois classes of yesterday will be swept away in a storm of Glorious fire!"You sneak away, but you have to tug at Barney's arm a few times, as he didn't seem to understand that listening to the speech was part of that whole 'cover' thing. The two of you take one of the tanks on the end. There's no crew yet, they're probably out listening to the speech. You at the driver's seat and look out the viewscreen at your potential targets. >"Go forth, heroes of New Albuquerque! Unite the fringes against all who would see it burn down around you! Viva La Republica! Viva El Presidente!"This is about the time you discover the speakers. You signal Barney to begin shooting.>"Vee-vuh el Prezzy-dentay, motherfuckers!"The first round strikes them by surprise. Most of the poor bastards don't even know what hit them. The second shell lands. Flames engulf the gathered. The platform of the Commisar burns a pretty shade of blue.>"It's... so... byooteeful..."
As you rain hell down upon your enemies, you notice a Valkyrie overhead. Marines start to drop down in waves, mowing down the flaming PRNA marines.>"Hold you fire, Barney! Those are ours!"End mission. Loading mission parameters: Rescue Operation at Kessla

You're left with just your combat shield, a stolen C-14, your flare gun, and whatever medical supplies you have left. Rio and Bossman just have their weapons, sidearms, and a lot of hope. The two of them are discussing your plans.>"Whole situation's FUBAR. We can't be sure there's Evac coming. We've got no comms. Deployment LZ is 1.3 miles Southwest of target objective. Terrain is urban sprawl with entrenched siege tank, missile turret, and bunker positions. >>26423588I guess? it's been a while since i've played it.
Your dropship crashes through a building, toppling it, before it makes contact with the pavement and you eject. For once your LZ isn't hot. >>264237243, Commander, but it is the slowest method.
You move from rooftop to rooftop. For the most part the PRNA forces are unaware of your movements, though the occasional shift in defenses leads you to believe the scanners they have are capable of tracking you. Eventually your target building comes into view. >"This is Patriot team to Delta Phoenix. We are in position and ready for orders, over.">1 Explosives on the outside of the building.>2 Provide sniper support, have Patriot team clear the interior.>3 All units move to engage interior defenses.

>>26424081An EMP grenade is a type of terran ordnance that disables plasma shields and electronic equipment. The flash grenade is a type of terran ordnance designed to damage the retinas and/or photo-optic receptors of a target. This is achieved by emitting a burst of light in the visible and ultraviolet parts of the spectrum. The hellfire grenade is a type of terran ordnance which breaks up into a number of heat-seeking explosive sub-munitions.The irradiate grenade emits polarized uranium into the atmosphere causing intense radiation. It is particularly effective against biological targets. The E16 lockdown grenade is a type of terran ordnance that generates an electromagnetic pulse to disable mechanical units and structures. The BE3 is a type of sticky fragmentation grenade.
