LAST TIME ON GUNDAM AGE QUEST: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Gundam%20AGE%20QuestCheck my Twitter for updates and reschedules: https://twitter.com/CrosswireYour name is Jake Crocker. After talking with the quite-mad Ezelcant who was in some kind of tree-shaped X-Rounder amplifier, you made off with Desil’s frozen parents and a couple dozen kids (including your purple haired guide by the name of Fram) you boarded the Treasure Star and were ready to take off when a massive signal appeared on radar and swooped into visual rangeIt’s large, black, twice the size of a normal mobile suit and appears intent on destroying the Treasure Star.“Quick, activate the Grand Wing System!” Alfred suggests.“It’s not finished charging! If we activate it now we could end up just about anywhere!!” Daiki says firmly as he looks down at the meager progress the Grand Wing System had made in charging.“Anywhere is better than here! Think of the kids and Desil’s parents. If that thing attacks the ship chances are they are all going to die!” Rena adds“This thing has a giant DODS Rifle strapped to the length of the ship that should do something! Fire some missiles to go with it and we can probably just blow the thing to pieces” Zeal suggests.“Re-activate the Invisible Umbrella System so we can hide. It sees us now but maybe we can avoid it long enough for us to launch?” Duke blurts out. You stand their listening to everyone’s panicked suggestions. What will you do Jake?>A) Activate the Grand Wing System prematurely. Anywhere and anything is better than what’s going to happen to the ship if that machine reaches it.>B) Fire all the weapons in an attempt to destroy incoming machine.>C) Activate the Invisible Umbrella System in an attempt to hide .
Fuck yeah, we're back."Everyone stay the fuck calm."Let's go with C - there is no known countermeasure to our cloaking systems that we know of. Just in case, prepare the guns if the cloaking fails to do anything.
>>26272631>>A) Activate the Grand Wing System prematurely. Anywhere and anything is better than what’s going to happen to the ship if that machine reaches it.GO GO GO GOOPEN A HOLE IN SPACE AND TIME
>>26272631I choose [A]
>>26272631"That's the third angriest thing I've ever seen in my life. Daiki, if we activate the Grand Wing now, we'll just move through space, not time, right?"
>>26272631Fuck it, that thing is probably more advanced than us. Voting for A.
>>26273205>>26272690>>26273243>>26273331>>A) Activate the Grand Wing System prematurely. Anywhere and anything is better than what’s going to happen to the ship if that machine reaches it.Considering the machine already has a line of sight with the ship and would probably smash the bridge in with one of it's sickle like blades regardless of what you do you decide to do the only thing you can think of that will get everyone out of here alive."Daiki activate the Grand Wing System.""But-"You watch as the machine accelerates towards the Treasure Star, ready to strike a killing blow..."NOW!!!!!"Daiki types in a single command and presses a single button...The effect is sudden and at first unnoticeable. Everything outside disappears, the large mobile suit, Vagan, Mars, stars, light. Everything. All that's outside of the bridge windows is an empty void that's so dark it hurts your eyes to look into it for too long.At first everything seems fine, everyone begins to breath sighs of relief until everyone begins feeling an odd sickening feeling in their stomachs. Suddenly everyone is thrown towards the ceiling, giving you a sudden abrupt moment of clarityThe Treasure Star is falling...(Cont)
>>26272631Okay, why does everyone want to get lost in space? Activating the Grand Wing now seems like a terrible idea. It's just one mobile suit. Granted, it's a big one, but that's no reason for us to panic. It's not like Jake's seen the final episode or anything. Though I suppose Daiki might know what Vagan Gear is. Time travel and what not. Let's engage the Invisble Umbrella to stealth the ship, then deploy our own mobile suit complement. Vagan Gear only has a single ranged weapon (albeit a powerful one), so if we distract it with enough bits from the Pioneers we can probably keep it at bay long enough to get away.
>>26273372Wait, how would we know we're falling? Free fall and being in microgravity are exactly identical from a human-scale perspective. Whatever's moving us, it's not a uniform acceleration field like gravity would be. Which implies some very worrying things about where we wound up.
>>26273408A bit late for that now. Though we probably could've activated the IUS, but that thing would just charge through it and attack us. Or if it's old tech, it probably has some nasty tricks like being able to see cloaked units. On a side note, Vagan Gear is twice the size of a Gundam, and it's pretty damn powerful.
>>26273442Somewhere with a strong magnetic field, maybe? The ship would shield it from frying out nervous systems, but it would still be attracted to the source. That could cause the results we're seeing.
>>26273477Yeah, I posted a bit too late. Whoops. But I still say that it makes perfect sense from Jake's perspective to not be afraid of Vagan Gear. He doesn't know it can tear apart space colonies single-handed.Actually, can it? It only started doing that after it merged with SID. Which also made it grow larger, somehow. The final episode was strange in many ways.
>>26273372Everyone, save for Daiki who is strapped into the chair by a computer console, is pinned to the ceiling. You're barely able to move your head to see that there are clouds and a blue sky outside indicating the Treasure Star is in atmosphere and dropping like a rock."Daiki! Activate it again!""Are you mad?! This thing obviously isn't sending us through time at this point!""Do you want to find out what will happen to us when we hit the ground!?!" You scream back at Daiki, who quickly begins to activate the Grand Wing System again...-------------------Noa Izumi had just finished preforming some regular maintenance on Alphonse when she stepped outside for a breath of fresh air. The sun was high in the sky and their wasn't a cloud in sight. For a moment she just sat their, bathing in the warm sun and the cool air...until she felt cool shade on her face.Looking up with a frown she saw something above her. It was large and hard to make out. The longer she looked at it the larger, and larger, and larger it seemed until she realize whatever it was was going to fall right on top of her.Out of reflex she threw up her arms and closed her eyes, waiting for the inevitable..."Noa?" a voice asked, making her jump and shout in a startled gasp. She turned around and saw Asuma was behind her with a cup of coffee."What are you doing? You look like you were about to get squashed by something!" Asuma grinned in amusement as Noa looked up at the sky, seeing nothing but the blue emptiness over her head."I thought I was!" She exclaimed, shaking her head in confusion.----------------The pressure pushing you towards the ceiling vanishes and things return to Zero-G. Everyone drifts towards the floor, gasping and coughing."Daiki what the hell happened?" You gasp.(cont)
>>26273482I think a magnetic force that strong would fry the electronics in a heartbeat. We probably ended up in some planet's atmosphere - the Treasure Star probably doesn't work in such conditions as it's primarily a interplanetary ship that works by opening wormholes.>>26273516It kept the same size. And it probably could wreck colonies into pieces before it merged with the death machine, SID just gave him those insane lasers.
>>26273541We're traveling between universes, now? That's interesting. Maybe that means that the Treasure Star does in fact use the many-worlds interpretation, and Daiki didn't wind up destroying his original timeline after all. Which would make his friends' deaths completely pointless. Welp.
>>26273567Maybe it's just an animation error, but Vagan Gear is clearly larger after merging than before. Compare it fighting hand to hand against the Gundams to when it's fighting against Kio using the FX-Burst. It about doubles in size from its already huge stature.
>>26273541"Like I said, there are things about the Grand Wing System that I don't understand. It doesn't just work with Time it works with space. This it what happens when you don't let it charg-" Suddenly the ship shakes quite violently, alarms and proximity sensors blare.Outside the window is a large fleet made up of ships you have never seen before. Orbs of light and explosions fill the distance as mobile suits swarm the area in droves."Jake! We're being attacked by an unknown ship, one of many. We're in the middle of a fucking fleet!"The ship that had fired upon you becomes obvious as a beam cannon blast narrowly misses the bridge. Before you can get off a word a series of beam blasts punch through the bridge and stern of the unknown ship, causing it to explode.A strange mono-eyed mobile suit flies past the bridge, stopping and pausing for a moment before turn and flying off."Daiki, activate the Grand Wing System again. We aren't where we are supposed to be."Daiki doesn't question you and instead types in the command again...------------------------Federation Captain Daniel Palmer swore as the Zeon Mobile suits began to flee, their damage on their reconnaissance fleet had been severe while their damage to the enemy's attacking forces had been limited."Did anyone manage to identity who those suits were?" Daniel demanded the Radio operator."A couple of the pilots swear it was the Nachtmaren Unit sir."Daniel rolled his eyes in frustration. "Everyone's saying that nowdays. What about that weird ship I heard you mention before?""It disappeared sir. It was there one moment and gone the next.""Great. Disappearing ships and Ace Zeon Combat teams. What next?"--------------------You sit and wait for something odd to happen but nothing does. "Daiki, are we in the right dimension or slip space, or whatever now?" You ask cautiously."I'm checking as we speak..." He says running some checks and calculations with Ma G's assistance.(Cont)
>>26273636You mean this? I think they just wanted to make it seem intimidating, but now that I took a look at the episode, yeah, it seems that he changed sizes.
>>26273712Yeah, that's what I mean. Or maybe the AGE-FX shrunk. They're the only two units in that shot, so who knows? I guess they wanted a more dramatic effect. Final bosses have to be ridiculously huge, right? Level-5 are predominantly videogame developers, after all.
>>26273766That's what I'm thinking happened. They wanted to add some drama, and nothing says "you're screwed" like being loomed over by a skeleton/dragon/robot thing. Vagan Gear is 31 meters tall (without counting the tail) and the FX is 18.5, so they probably made a mistake when they animated those fight scenes.
>>26273689As Daiki is running the calculations with Ma G you stand and look out the window. The stars are there, you can see a space colony that appears to be Zarth and there aren't any giant tentacle monsters or space horrors attacking the ship. For a moment you feel everything is going to be OK until you look sideways out the Bridge window and see something that makes your heart stop."Daiki, you can stop making those calculations." You stat as you turn back to everyone. "What? Why?" Daiki asks, becoming frustrated with your constant demands."Because I know what today is. It's a week from when I met you. Today is the day where your friends go crazy and supposedly kill each other..."Everyone's mouth drops at this point."How do you know that?" Daiki stands up in his chair, wide eyed."Because there's another Treasure Star right beside us."Rena and Alfred go to the Bridge window to check while Duke and Zeal check the Radar. For the moment you are thankful that Carlos and Desil are below deck.Everyone soon confirms there is in fact another Treasure Star right alongside the Treasure Star you are on. Before anyone can make a suggestion Ma G speaks up."Incoming Audio Transmission from nearby ship. Playing now..."There is static for a moment before a voice comes in over the comms."Hello? This is Captain Sirius of the Treasure Star...are you guys lost? Because unless we're all still hallucinating from that tripy gas leak that happened an hour ago you guys are riding on my ship or a very good copy of it..."What will you do Jake? Will you reply to Sirius?
>>26273878(Damn forgot the image)
>>26273858Wouldn't be the first time Gundam has gotten scale mixed up. I remember the Destroys in Seed Destiny were really inconsistent in how big they are depending on how much of a threat they were supposed to be in that scene. Consistency is less relevant than drama. Not that I exactly mind when it's a show, but it does make for a weird scenario when it's roleplaying and it has the potential to be important.
>>26273878Reply to Sirius."Uh... This is Captain Jake Crocker from aboard the alternate timeline Treasure Star some 25 years into the future."
>>26273878Gas leak? Is that why the crew went crazy and killed each other?"Captain Sirius, it is vital that you listen to me: Get off your ship now. That gas leak is far more serious than you think it is. You are currently in my past, and if I'm right then that gas leak is going to be what kills you and leaves this ship for us to find a week from now. Please, evacuate now before the effects get any more pronounced."
>>26274003They realized that they erased themselves from existence by time traveling. They were never born, they found that out, went insane and killed everyone aboard except Daiki.
>>26274037Yeah, but I'm trying to not outright say that. Also, don't you think their exposure to mind-altering chemicals might have played a role in their homicidal madness? At the very least getting them on our ship will let us keep them from killing each other when they go crazy. At best it will avoid this entirely because it will limit their exposure.
I am not regretting pressing the time travel button. Is Fram with us yet?
>>26274080She's below decks with Desil and Carlos. Why? What do you have in mind?
>>26273919"Uh... This is Captain Jake Crocker from aboard the alternate timeline Treasure Star some 25 years into the future." You say, looking around at everyone."Oh, well that explains a lot. So what are you guys doing here?" Sirius asks."It's a long story. Look We're from some 25 years in the future like I said and Daiki...well he remembers all of you dying on this very day. You apparently went crazy and killed each other..." "Crazy? Well there was a weird gas leak that caused us to hallucinate. Daiki got the worst of it and is still freaking out in the infirmary. However we are all feeling fine, no homicidal urges what so ever." Sirius states. "Well that explains something..." You look back at Daiki with a frown."What is it?" He asks, looking worried."Daiki, do you remember what happened to everyone's bodies?" "I assumed you shot them into space." He states..."That's what I thought you did..." Daiki's eyes widen, but not of fear, but out of amazement. "I think we have ourselves a dilemma here. When you found me I was all alone on the ship without a soul on board but myself. I was physically ill, crazed, and convinced my friends killed themselves. However they are clearly alive and well. So they are ether going to kill themselves very shortly, which is unlikely since neither of us touched the bodies. OR...they came with us when we accidentally traveled to this point in time.""Wait, isn't that a paradox?" Rena asks."I guess. But if we don't take them with us then my past self will wake up to his friends and I will probably never meet Jack meaning none of this will ever have happened and GOD knows what else it will do to the timeline." Daiki states, seeming quite happy to realize his friends never died. What the hell do you make of all this Jake? What do you want to do?>>26274080Fram is below deck with Desil and Carlos, they are probably going to come up to ask what the fuck is going on quite shortly.
>>26274072Ah, I see. Good idea.Inform them about the severity of the gas leak, tell them to evacuate and get aboard our ship. We need to talk.
>>26274107You mean Jake, not Jack? Jack (Jake's dad) and Daiki already met, so Jake probably will continue to live. So, what do we do. We take aboard the crew of the Treasure Star, but we leave behind Daiki so no paradox ensues, but we leave him with a message and enough supplies so he doesn't turn insane and suicidal. He probably hallucinated cleaning the blood and the corpses back then, no need for him to go through all that.
>>26274169(Yes I mean Jake. You know how I mix them up)
>>26274198Don't worry about it..Man, this is a tough one. We need to both keep the timelines intact and save Daiki from going bonkers. Could we knock the drugged young Daiki for a while or put him in a cryopod so that Jake saves him in about a week, and leave behind the message? Or ensure that the crew returns in about a week?
>>26274107"Seems kind of unfair to past Daiki, though. You sure you're okay with this? I don't think we can actually erase you from time if you were intact, um, right now, but we could still make sure that there's SOME Daiki in this universe that doesn't have to go through what you did. I'm sure we can find a way to do this without screwing up the timeline. Not that much changed when you altered it. Details, not the major events. Maybe we can minimize it, or make sure it never happens at all. And even if we can't, we could just travel back to the present, gather everyone who we'd not want to risk erasing from time, then come back here and change the timeline with them aboard so that they stick around. No, no, that's ridiculously selfish, isn't it? But you get the point. Let's just think this over a bit before we do anything. Ma G, you got any ideas for minimizing temporal disturbance?"
>>26274251How much would keeping Daiki from having to live through those years of loneliness do? We probably would still have access to the Treasure Star, because the crew would be friends with us and willing to help with this rescue mission. Main problem I can see is butterfly effect erasing Jake's kids from existence. Sure, canonical characters can't be erased, seemingly, but I don't know how it would effect non-canon ones. Would Dirk and Scarlet still be around after this? What about Yurika and Akito?
>>26274274"No. Any alterations may have a butterfly effect and cause drastic results. Daiki must wake up on that ship alone so you will find him in a week. If you give him any comfort, any notes, or help, you could risk everyone you love Jake." Ma G explains coldly."But his friends are alive! Daiki doesn't have to suffer for all those years!" You shout angrily. "There has to be some way to fix this...some way to save him!"You feel a hand on your shoulder. You look to see Daiki standing behind you."This has to happen Jake.""Daiki...""I suffered all those years. I turned into a drunken, miserable shell of myself. Sometimes when I looked back on how much spirit I had and how much I had now I felt like drowning myself. Not anymore thought. My friends are alive Jake! They are going to come with us to the future! There's no need to risk changing anything. Sometimes you can't save everyone Jake, because sometimes they don't need saving." What do you think about this Jake? Daiki seems fine with the situation now that he knows his friends never died in the first place.
>>26274331Man, I don't know. There's so many things that could go wrong.Maybe Flit and Daiki end up as best bros after he's found, and the worst that happens is another insane uncle Jake's kids have. Daiki is still 5 years younger than Jake, so we don't have to worry about him stealing Mellis or something, but that doesn't mean something else won't happen, like Dirk having an annoying younger brother, or Asemu never being born, or something else. Fuck.>>26274382"Man... God damn it I wish I knew what to do. You're my friend, I don't want you to go through all that stuff."Could we at least knock him out so he doesn't have to go all week without food or something?
>>26274382"...Okay. We'll complete the loop. I know you just said that you don't mind it having happened, but you're still accepting a lot of pain for the sake of keeping this timeline intact. Even if that pain is in the past. Future. Fuck it, you know what I mean. Thank you, Daiki. You are, were, will be and will have been a good friend. Now, let's convince your friends to go along with this before I start stumbling over tenses again."
>>26274382>>"Sometimes you can't save everyone Jake, because sometimes they don't need saving."I love this quote. And Daiki is right.
>>26274512Seconding. Give Daiki a brohug, he deserves it.
>>26274438>>26274551>"...Okay. Now, let's convince your friends to go along with this before I start stumbling over tenses again."You embrace with Daiki in the the most loving platonic brohug you can manage. "You're my friend too Jake. You're a pretty awesome guy despite being a genius manchild." Daiki hugs you back just as Desil and Carlos burst into the room."What the fuck happened?" They ask practically in unison. "I'll explain things to them and get the Grand Wing System full charged so we can go back to our own time. You talk to my friends and get them to come over. Make sure they leave me." Daiki walks off to explain what happened to Desil and Carlos, leaving you to convince Sirius to bring everyone over. What do you wish to say Jake?
>>26274643"So... Who's up for keeping the time-space continuum free from paradoxes? If you are, come aboard!""No, but seriously, we need to complete a timeloop or something bad will happen. My 15 year old self will find your Treasure Star in about a week completely abandoned except for Daiki who'll stay behind in the infirmary. I guess all of you ended up aboard this Treasure Star because we didn't find any traces of you. Don't worry, nothing bad will happen to you - except maybe you'll end up being mugged by Vagan kids.""I know this sucks, and I know we all want to see Daiki happy and safe, but apparently this has to happen or everything goes to shit."I guess the Treasure Star crew joins the Bisidian Pirates once we come back.
>>26274643"Captain Sirius? I'm afraid things just got a bit more complicated. Good news is, Daiki was wrong, you don't go crazy and kill each other. Bad news is we have to make it look like you do. It looks like we have a causal loop going on. We can break it, but that could have some nasty alterations to the timeline. Fulfilling it requires you to come with us, over twenty years into the future. Naturally, Daiki has to be left behind to maintain his role in the loop. I'm sorry, I know that seems cruel. For what it's worth, future Daiki came up with the plan, and says he's willing to endure that if it prevents any more causal violation."
>>26274841Yeah, let's try to appear professional.
>>26274841>"Captain Sirius? I'm afraid things just got a bit more complicated. Good news is, Daiki was wrong, you don't go crazy and kill each other. Bad news is we have to make it look like you do. For what it's worth, future Daiki came up with the plan, and says he's willing to endure that if it prevents any more causal violation.""Well...alright. Normally I would be questioning this but considering the weird things I've seen this is pretty believable. I'll have everyone board a shuttle and head over there. Anything else we should bring?""Yeah I think you need to take that Custom G-Exes and Genoace out of the hanger. When I got there the only thing left was the AGE-1.""Alright, see you then"-----After 20 minutes or so everyone of importance is on the ship. You, The Magnificent 7, Daiki, Fram and three new people stand on the bridge."I think some introductions are in order." Daiki says with a smile as he walks over and lifts two 15 year old children up by the waist and nearly crushes them both in a hug."ACK-can't breath-" The two choke out, causing Daiki to ease up his grip and drop them back on their feet. "These two are Kotetsu and Lhuga. Kotetsu wants to be the worlds or rather the universes greatest chef. Lhuga used to be a space pirate, I met her when she tried to mug Gundam using a Xeno..." "And I kicked your butt for the most part!" The girl with a cat-fetish exclaims with a grin."Wow you got old! I'm surprised you didn't starve to death while I was gone, you were always a terrible cook." Kotetsu laughs.(Cont)
>>26275801"Jeez, will you two be a little nicer? It's been 25 years since he's seen any of us and that's what you say to him?" A wild looking man with a captain's hat says as he leans up against a console."And this is Captain Sirius. The man my father entrusted the Treasure Star too." Daiki says, oozing with happiness."I hate to break up the reunion but don't you think we should leave?" Rena says aloud, trying not to sound like a killjoy. "The longer we stay here, the longer we have a chance to accidentally buttrape the space-time continuum."Rena kind of has a point, but is there anything you want to ask Kotetsu, Sirius or Lhuga? The rest of the crew is below deck looking after the kids.
>>26275854"Rena has a point. Daiki, plot a course for future Zarth, we'll be able to have a proper reunion there.""Captain Sirius, it's a pleasure to finally meet you. Jake Crocker, current captain of the Treasure Star. I guess I should fill you in about the next 25 years and how we ended up here."
>>26275854"Hey, you guys have been doing this a while, so I've got to ask: What verb tenses am I supposed to use when time traveling? It's been driving me crazy."
>>26275854Oh wait, I just realized: We have to get the AGE data from the past Treasure Star before we leave. Daiki erased it after his friends seemingly died, but right now it still has analysis of mobile suits that haven't actually been built yet. Including the AGE-3. We have to take it."
>>26276046Oh yeah, we definitely should do that. They probably have a lot X-Rounder tech aboard, and some cool stuff from the original Gen-3.
>>26276046>>26276046"Rena has a point. Daiki, plot a course for future Zarth, we'll be able to have a proper reunion there. Captain Sirius, it's a pleasure to finally meet you. Jake Crocker, current captain of the Treasure Star. I guess I should fill you in about the next 25 years and how we ended up here."You shake Sirius's hand as Daiki activates the Grand Wing System creating a time tunnel that will eventually bring you back to your own time."One quick question Captain Sirius, what did you do with all the data saved up from the AGE System on board the Treasure Star?""Oh I accidentally erased all of that before we left. I meant to grab it but I slipped and armed the keyboard...""Crap...oh well. Lose some you win some. So about what happened while you were gone..."---------------Your name is Scarlet Crocker. You just had a wonderful lunch with Captain Walker and his troops. The food helped ease your mind about what Rysis tried to pull with you but you're still kind of pissed off. What do you want to do Scarlet?Structures/Facilities>Sub-Office Cleanout and Reconstruction: COMPLETED>Armory Clean out and Reconstruction: 3 Hours>Lab Clean out and Reconstruction: 15 Hours>HQ Reinforcement: 59 Hours>MS Training Course [On Hold] 5 DaysEquipment and Personnel Projects >RGE-890T Genoace II Trainer x10 3 hours>Shields, EM Bullpumps, DODS Rifles, Beam Sabers, training equipment est COMPLETED>MS Training x10 Greenhorns/Paperpushers- 1 week
>>26276398Back to Scarlet. We need to get some cash, and fast. What's the current bounty on Hogan and his men, and are they wanted dead or alive? We probably could make a decoy Baronche and blow it up, and get the money needed that way. Or we could call the Fairdain boss (that knight guy) and offer him some new tech if he decides to sponsor us.
>>26276398Aw, I just want to steal technology from the future. It wouldn't advance us that much in the time frame we'd need it to be really effective. Oh well. Okay, it's been a while since we've been Scarlet. We just found out that a significant amount of money had been embezzled and already spent, right? But Rysis used that as an excuse to try to get us made into cyborgs, and she's the one who told us about it. Can we really be sure there's actually a problem? How long until Aunt Yurin's accountants show up? I want an impartial, cybernetics-neutral perspective on the problem. It would also be nice to see if we can get any investigators to look in on Rysis's doctor friend. Why do they have that much money to offer their test subjects? Is this a Leviathan thing?
Wow, I guess time travel was the more interesting option after all!
>>26276583Rysis is going to end up with one Crocker made as a cyborg, but not the one she hoped for. Also, yeah, let's investigate our status without Rysis around. She probably didn't lie about how screwed we are, but still.>>26276587Time travel is always the more interesting option.
>>26276587>>26276681Hopefully Daiki will be more open to keeping the Grand Wing now. I still want to strip it down and make a WoL System from it. Also, we have to get him a girlfriend now, so his kids are running around being fucking awesome in Gen 3.
>>26277268Also, we have excuse to make AGE-Googs now. Maybe if we keep it Crosswire will be nice enough to let us go and explore canon settings here and there. Also, Crosswire. You're off the hook. For now.
>>26277268Him and Desil. And we'll be their wingman. Their horrible, married wingman.I guess Carlos and the rest of the Magic Schoolbus crew are married.
>>26277268Yeah, now that he doesn't have a personal reason to fear the Grand Wing's potential effects he might be willing to just remove the time travel functionality. Still would be risky to experiment with. But if we didn't have any chance to alter causality he might be up for it.Sure would be nice to raid technology from the future, though. I want the Stungle Rifle, damn it. And particle bits, and the Farsia's beam baton, and Gransa's anti-beam armor. Or whatever cool toys the Three Generations arc has as a result of our meddling with the timeline. It wouldn't be a risk to us at that point, we could do it without fear. But no, time travel is too dangerous.
How many of Desil's siblings and parents did we save? The Vagan have that weird family system where they marry multiple persons and they are all considered parents, and their children are considered siblings, so I doubt that there's only two people in cryopods lying around - probably some kids, adults and the rest of the Galette family is here as well.
>>26276515The Bounty on Hogan and his men would pay off your debt and more problem is they ether want them alive or their bodies. If you don't get the bodies, you don't get the money. Giving tech in exchange for money would probably be something Ract would go for. You'll have to call him up and talk with him when you get the chance. >>26276583>>26276681The more you think about it the more you wonder about the whole embezzlement business. I didn't seem like she was lying but you don't know for sure. The accountants from Aunt Yurin should be arriving within the hour along with the doctors and researchers. What would you like to do Scarlet?
>>26277571Let's go call Ract. He did support Flit in his rise to power, and the Fairdain suits are pretty old and rusty. We probably could throw in training services to sweeten the deal, considering how they love to fight in teams using antiquated tactics.
>>26277335We only saw it for a few seconds. I don't think we have enough data to reproduce it. Besides, I think we're a bit beyond the Gelgoog in terms of performance at this point. Minovsky particle weapons would be nice, though. Can't be deflected by magnetic shields and has an after-effect of jamming and electronics-frying particle fields. Provided that the physics of the AGE-verse could even allow for M-particles to actually exist here.
>>26277554Eh, he might be willing to keep the time travel part too. Obviously though, I'd keep the fucking thing under lock and key. Also, I wonder if this means that the Treasure Star has started bliping on meta sensors.
>>26277660>t. Besides, I think we're a bit beyond the Gelgoog in terms of performance at this point.Indeed.Indeed. Also, we could always go Mars Zeon route and make state of the art MS in a gelgoog shell.
We also stole all the Vagan military data. We probably have the blueprints of the Vagan Gear on that data miner we took a while back.If not, hey, portable IUS and X-Rounder tech. And probably a hint that they're producing suits in Federation space.
>>26277736>Dataminer...Fuck I totally forgot about that. Considering the rush you guys left in I don't think you retrieved it. You guys go through these things like I don't know what. Still, you should have some data to work with. You didn't steal all of it considering the limited storage space aboard the Treasure Star's computer system, but you should have a nice chunk. Military data doesn't mean schematics, it could mean troop layouts, tactics, unit names, people of interest, lots of things including tech.>>26277569You saved his Mother and Father. You didn't have time to check if there were anymore of his relatives there. Besides getting two cryopods out was hard enough. >>26277629You go back to your office to call up Ract. Rysis is nowhere to be seen, probably off sulking somewhere or plotting your demise. Ether way you call up Ract yourself, being put on hold by a particularly bitchy secretary you are left waiting for a solid twenty minutes before getting to talk to Ract."I would be happy to give you some funds Commander Scarlet. I think I could spare a Million Credits...but you'll have to give me something worth that money. Our tech is old, but I'm looking for something to give my alliance an edge. What can you offer?"Well Scarlet? What do you want to give the man?
>>26278079>Military data doesn't mean schematicsDoesn't mean JUST schematics.
>>26278079"Well, we do have the best Ace Customs the Federation has to offer stationed here, as well as some... let's say, black market tech. And then there's the Camelot crew which is currently working on cutting-edge suits. That, and we're currently in the position of building advanced training facilities. So, all that, in exchange for some funding. Or even better, a strategic partnership, instead of a simple trade."
>>26278183"Well considering Zarth, Fairdain and Minsry are already in an alliance with one another a strategic partnership is a bit of a moot offer. As for the Ace Customs, I'm not interested in them. I want cold hard tech and I'd like some good examples of what you have. I know your family hoards data like some people hoard leftover pizza boxes. I'm sure you have something that will peak my interest..."
>>26278183Yeah, the real question is what Ract wants. If it exists in the Earth Sphere, we've got it. And in a day or two when the Treasure Star gets here we'll have some things that exist outside the Earth Sphere, too. More responsive suits, heavier firepower, new ship designs, we've got it all. Speaking of what the Treasure Star is bringing home, anyone want to show Madorna their suits? Because he made them, but not in this timeline. Would be fun to freak him out about it. They're clearly his work, but he can't remember making them! What's going on?
>>26278571"Okay then.""Blueprints for the new Adele and the various wears for it. The new G-Exes. Advanced bullpup EM rifles and the new ammo for them. Some new DODS rifles which still haven't been completed, but are almost done. Improved armor. Improved cyber-warfare suits. The top-of-the-line sensors. And... there's some more, but I doubt you're interested in massaging chairs and fridges installed inside the cockpit (what the hell, dad)...">>26278676Yeah, I just hope he doesn't end up wanting the AGE builder or something. As for Madorna, we probably should've called him as well, he might be willing to cough up some dough or help us on the new Adeles and G-Exes. And it'd be pretty funny to screw with his head.
>>26278571"I was more speaking to the variety we have available to offer, Mr. Elfamel. You're right, we have a lot of nice technology. One obvious product is new mobile suits. The Xeno and Zila Kais are good mobile suits, but they're based on an outdated frames. They just don't have the reaction time or engine capacity needed to keep up with the current Vagan designs. We have the production capacity for the G-Bouncer and Adele designs. The Adele is an excellent multi-role design due to its basis in the Gundam AGE-1, and the G-Bouncer's speed and armor serve well as a commander suit. The DODS Rifles you have aren't going to work against the new Vagan armor. EM Bullpups can pierce their plating and aren't affected by EM Armor. We're also field testing a high-powered EM Long Rifle for anti-ship and heavy MS work. We've also recently developed a plasma-based "Beam Shield" device that offers considerable protection with little dead weight. They're still experimental, but I've tested them on my own unit and they work quite well. We can perform a total overhaul of your MS forces.

I'll wire the money to your private account and let you use it as you please. You may send me the schematics for everything you just mentioned when you get the chance, I believe you want it to be a secure means I suppose? Thank you for your business Commander Scarlet, the Zalam/Euba alliance is always at your disposal.
>>26279030And with that the line is cut. A million credits or frame, weapon and MS designs. They were probably worth more then that, but it's not like you were selling the patents or anything. Besides the Alliance needs new tech badly...As you think on what to do next your mother bursts into your office."Honey! It's your Father!"(And here is where we will stop tonight guys)
>>26279077What? He's back already? That's impossible unless he has some sort of time machine or something.
>>26279077Damn, Mellis, calm down. It's just Jake with the best pilots aboard a time-machine who went to another planet to save some people, nothing big.
>>26279077See you next time. As always, a fun thread. Even if we destroyed the very idea of linear time in the process.
>>26279155Yeah, she is rather excited. Did something happen in the hour or so he was off camera? I mean, your husband bringing home three dozen new children is kind of shocking, but it's not that bad. Is something wrong?
>>26279077See you next time, man. Fun as always.>>26279175At least we didn't destroy the universe by running into our younger self, which would have been pretty funny.
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/26272631/Glad to know I'm not losing my touch for entertaining you guys. >>26279209Mellis was worried about him. I mean if your husband went off to a hostile world on a mission that would usually be considered suicidal and then came back I'm sure you'd be pretty happy to have him back.>>26279250Hmmmmm, destroying a good chunk of the multiverse and causing billions of dimensions to collapse on one another and create a single reality combining traits and aspects of all of them due to the simple meeting between Young Jack and Middle-Aged Jack?An amusing idea.
>>26279209I think it was more of a day than an hour. Which means he can screw around with Dirk for becoming a cyborg.> "Dammit, Dirk, we talked about this. No becoming a cyborg when I'm not around. How am I supposed to explain this to your mother?"
>>26279313It would collapse out of Young Jake's sheer dismay at seeing his older self without an awesome beard. The universe would unravel before we could explain we only shaved it for an infiltration mission.
>>26279646That, and probably the inevitable "loose the cape, you look stupid" comment, even though they both know they did it for Mellis.
