Check it out here! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valkyria_Chronicles or http://valkyria.wikia.com/wiki/Valkyria_WikiYou are JAGER STURMFUHRER, leader of the fledgling mercenary company DEMONS OF RANDGRIZ. In addition to fighting Imps for money and vengeance, you have your own private mission to hunt down Karla, your former fiance who sided with the Imperials and destroyed your home. You first arrived in the Federation nation of Albion to help defend it against a possible amphibious attack. However, your boots barely hit the deck before you were assigned a mission to break up a spy ring. However, through a chain of extraordinary events, you not only smashed the spy ring apart, but also managed to capture an Imperial u-boat (mostly) intact, and figh off an Imperial amphibious invasion by defeating their leader, Belkan Knight Sir Fleisher. You then moved on to Ustio, where you helped the beleaguered defenders fend off an Imperial offensive and stage a counterattack. While there, you also took care of a personal mission for Qyburn, got a new weapon called the Buzzbomb, recruited some new squad members, and helped Isolde regain her honor by defeating the Knight leading the Imperial forces in the area, breaking the back of the Imperial offensive. You then returned to Gallia to help the Loyalists fight the GRA and rescue Archduchess Cordelia. You also finally decided to move on from your past and start a relationship with your longtime friend and XO, Sam. Now, you've been recruited by Lynch to destroy two Valkrur superweapons. You already managed to destroy Stonehenge, and all that is left is Excalibur.
From the ending of the last thread:>It was like finding out your parents were still alive and were just hiding somewhere all this time.Foreshadowing, n.: to represent, indicate, or typify beforehand.
>>26160257when did that happeh?
the best time of the day is here
>>26160193Well you're early Mer com!Oh well JAGER STURMFUHRER.
>>26160301Very end of the last thread.
>>26160257Had the same reaction.
>>26160257I would honestly consider that a pretty cheap asspull. Kind of invalidates Jager's whole struggle to forgive Karla or not by basically making the decision for him.
>>26160301End of the last thread. And I kinda doubt Jager's parents are miraculously alive.
>>26160193No sooner have you returned from helping Julia find one her childhood heroes when Sam arrives to let you know that it's time to go after Exaclibur.According to the (admittedly sparse) information Lynch was able to provide, Excalibur was located in the remote northern mountains of Belka, situated inside a massive underground bunker protected by both the Belkan and Imperial elite. Unfortunately, there was no effective way to infiltrate a team into Belka at this time, so you would have to get in the old fashioned way, through the front door.Fortunately, thanks to your exploits in Albion and Ustio, Federation forces have been freed up to expand the main front. While the bulk of Federation forces were still focused at the Round Table, a second offensive force would press the Imperial's northern flank, which would lead right into Belka's doorstep. The prevailing theory was that putting pressure on Belka itself would cause the Belkans to pull back their forces from the Round Table. Either way, this new offensive would factor into your plans perfectly. However, the one thing that was against you was the clock. Lynch estimated that Exaclibur would be operational within one or two months, which mean you'd have to push like tomorrow.Already, the Demons are making preparations to move out. You've got about a day to prepare before you have to leave to rendezvous with the Federation forces.>wat do?
>>26160335Ah, crap, does someone have a map of the area? Might help.Otherwise, I can only suggest that we blitzkreig into Belka as fast as possible.
>>26160335Talk to Granny. She's probably going to pull some more ridiculous schemes while we're gone, might as well figure them out before they actually happen this time.
>>26160335Celebration day. Big party, beach time, lots of food, fun, and games
Hmm. Kind of slow here, MC. Maybe you should of thrown in a few example options? I'm not even sure if this is supposed to be preparation time, leisure time, or battle strategy time.
>>26160335>Pushing into BelkaWell fuck. This is NOT going to be easy. Not in the slightest. Big showdown with Karla inbound; I think we want to get those old dueling sabers out. Challenge every knight on the way to Excalibur, if intel reports have been accurate then we should be facing mostly Knights rather than Imperial Commanders. If not then we need to thrust into enemy territory with all speed concentrating everything we have onto as narrow a front as possible.
>>26160405I agree. Beach party!>>26160395I second this. We need a general map of the fronts, so we know how much distance we have to cover. Like for example is it possible to attempt an amphibious night raid?
>>26160538It's ANYTHING time... .within reason of course.
Since people have been asking, here's the rough approximation. The Round Table is pretty much smack dab in the middle of the border between the Empire and Federation. Belka is landlocked and is just east of Gallia. In terms of geography it's literally a stone's throw away.
>>26160564So no lewd hand holding?
>>26160335>>26160561Also, notify Q that we need some sort of bunker busting explosive to get through the probably numerous doors.
>>26160645Many thanks. My vote is for beach time, but strategy shall be able to proceed now!
>>26160662like a nuclear bunker buster?
>>26160645Well fuck. That's equivalent to a strike through Belorussia, we better stock up on ragnite and supplies if we don't want to get bogged down especially if we're not fighting knights again. Avoiding strong points is going to be a must if we have any hope of cutting through in time. I reckon if we can secure a rail road route it should be easier, but that coutns on them not killing their own infrastructure to stop us.
>>26160659Good lord yes.
>>26160662I agree. At least some sort of breaching charge.
>>26160775I support this
>>26160753Keep in mind, in attacking Belka, we ARE going to have to fight Schnee. And he will be difficult.
>>26160821understatement of the century.
>>26160821Also I'm glad we ranked up our defense and killing power for our tanks. Because he leads a squad of 5 Imperial grade tanks. So we will need all the fire power we can get.
>>26160908Implying our battle won't be the fist-fight to end all fist-fights...while standing on a burning Imperial tank that the Stig is driving
>>26160937That'll come after/during the tank battle.
>>26160937Stig said he won't touch anything with full treads. My memory is fucking weird.
Guys, maybe we should start thinking creatively, like is it possible to to breach the border without being detected?
>>26161024In the middle of a warzone? Yes, but it would be difficult. Our best hope is to puncture a hole, which is then exploited the hell out of. Using the resulting confusion, we could then start using stealth and move quickly towards the objective.Additionally, we might even be able to achieve victory without destroying Excalibur. We just need to get it out of the hands of the Empire.
>>26161106Not arguing, but I really want a theory on how the hell you get an underground complex in the middle of the Empire out of Empire hands.Belka becoming neutral is off the table at the moment because that's meta.
>>26161106Getting it out of Empire hands and into Feddie hands wouldn't accomplish anything though
>>26161106We need to destroy Excalibur so NOBODY can get it.That's why we took down Stonehenge.
Actually, the biggest issue at hand is that we know next to nothing about Excalibur or the bunker protecting it. Is it possible to perform an infiltration mission on their HQ to gather more intel, or do we just don't have the time?
>>26161106The whole point of the mission is to destroy it. Both sides think their superweapon is their ace-in-the-hole to win this war and they won't sit down to talk peace as long as anyone has one. The thing needs to be gone completely; not in anyone else's hands.
So any guesses to what the hell Excalibur even is?
>>26161192Not as meta as you might think. I'd imagine Jaeger would be aware of Karla's dislike of the Empire. Also, not advocating it right now, just pointing out the possibility.>>26161197But it wouldn't go to Feddie hands. It could instead go to a neutral 3rd party. Whether that be Gallia, Belka, The Demons>>26161207No, we destroyed it so they couldn't use it as an excuse to continue the war, holding out for the superweapons.
>>26161293And Karla will kick our asses with her completely unexplained lightning powers.
>>26161293We already know what it is.Spoiler:http://acecombat.wikia.com/wiki/Excalibur
>>26161293Probably some giant Valkyrian ragnite powered death beam. Similar to the AC weapon it's based off of.As much as I love Merc he's not exactly subtle about stuff like that.
>>26161293I'm guessing cruise missiles.
>>26161341I like my idea better.
>>26161307How is Gallia (the only ostensibly "neutral" party there) going to hold a superweapon in Balkan territory without getting involved in the war? The demons are waaaay too few, Belka's not really neutral (yet) and we obviously can't give it to the federation
>>26161307I don't think that'd be much better as she'd be inclined to use it against the empire if not in its service.
>>26161307We have to destroy the superweapon so nobody can use it to make the war even more destructive.
>>26161341>>26161345I have a feeling Karla's plotting and scheming was entirely to get Belka entrusted with this thing. She's probably going to rig it into some crazy border defense system to basically force the Empire to give her sovereignty since they'd have no hope of invading and retaking.
>>26161476and perhaps end up a threat to everything else: such superweapons are terrible things.
>>26161500Oh, no doubt. I mean, it's not like a super defense alone will get the Empire to agree, they'll need to be threatened with a blast or two for that. I'd just thought I'd point out that it's going to be very unlikely to get Karla's cooperation on this considering she was willing to throw away her relationship with Jager and kill his parents to get a hold of this thing.
I'm trying to think here. The defense of the Belkan superweapon is perfect. But as usual, the weakness is human. And we have exactly one person to exploit, Karla. So it's simple. Challenge Karla to a duel to end this. This our ticket into the country. The rest we have to improvise through out the way.
>>26161560I think that this time dueling wont work. Karla's put everything she has into getting the weapon for her country. I think that she'd say, No, fuck you and throw away even her honor for her country at this point.
>>26161560Belkans are honorable not stupid. They don't accept duels unless there was a large chance that they would lose, which is what happened with Fleisher and Detlef.
>>26161620No, the point of the duel is misdirection. We're not going to duel about the weapon, we're not going to even mention it. The challenge is just to simply get us an our men into the country. If some infiltrators happen to sneak in with us, we'll it's not our problem.
You guys are really making a LOT of assumptions.
>>26160335Well, considering this was going to be the last day before going off on a major offensive, coupled with the fact that you would be pushing into the enemy's home turf, you feel that any opportunities for time off after this would be short and not all that enjoyable. Because of this, you sent out a standing order that every Demon would have to report to the beach and HAVE FUN. Those who weren't having FUN would be punished with MORE FUN.Other than that, you really had nothing particularly specific you wanted them to do. However, you'd have to double time it to the beach as well if you didn't want to disobey your own order. Making your way to the beach, you're surprised to see a LOT more people than you imagined partying and reveling. You think that the entire damn castle staff were down there, in addition to Davos' crew. Thinking back, your standing order was probably a bit more vague than you intended. Well, that was no problem.Looking around, you catch sight of what the other Demons are doing.Isolde appears to be acting as a lifeguard, keeping a close eye on the swimmers, especially those out farther from shore. Headcase, and the Stig seem to be tearing up sand like tomorrow, no doubt testing out their recently overhauled engines. Julia, meanwhile, is testing her new 122mm cannon by firing shells at target bouys out in the open water.Ramirez, Brillant, Tarin, and Elizabeth are with a bunch of others at the top of the lighthouse, which has been temporarily converted into a large diving platform. Well, no guess as to what they're up to.Heloise seems to have set up some barbeque equipment. You can actually smell what she's cooking from here...(cont)
>>26161746You see Elsa trying to drag a reluctant Alek to the water. He apparently looks terrified at the prospect.Arthur is nowhere to be seen, unsurprisingly enough.Qyburn, Grandma, Davos, and Kincaid seem to be forming the Old People Club, drinking wine and trading stories on the top deck of the Vergeltung, where the have a good view of the whole beach.Oddly enough, you don't seem to see Sam anywhere.>Wat do?
>>26161768Find Sam, duh.
>>26161768That's weird, where did Sam go?Ask around if necessary.
>>26161646Also, Erik is the BATTLE archetype, while the others were PRIDE and HONOR, so he might not really care about duels, only good fights. In hindsight we probably chose the most dangerous rival.
>>26161768Find Sam. She's probably ignoring our orders and doing more paperwork.
>>26161768>Acquire Girlfriend>Make Isolde have fun
>>26161746>Find Sam, makes sure she's having fun as well.Hopefully in a swimsuit.
>>26161844Unless people are being retarded about keeping themselves alive, lifeguard isn't exactly a tedious thing to do.
>>26161732Well yeah, because we have shit to go on. We're trying to think outside of the box to come up with better solutions than the two:1. Attack before the main Federation attack to gain the element of surprise and destroy the super weapon before we die or get cut off.2. Attack with the main Federation attack and die because we were at the vanguard, or be unable to penetrate Imperial defensive lines as they form.So yeah, they both kinda suck which is why I'm trying to come up with other solutions.
>>26161885>Sit there>Can't go in water>can't play in sand>must watch others having funNever cared for it much myself
>>26161924I personally don't consider the beach to be a very fun place so just kicking back while pretending to do something important was a pretty nice feeling. Different strokes. Jager may have ordered fun but he can't control what is fun for people.
>>26161924>Sit upon the highest throne>No need to go into the cold water>No need to touch hot sand>Be the god of the beach, choosing who lives and who diesYou're just not in the right frame of mind.
>>26161768You frown. Sam's absent, which is very odd. True, she's pretty much a shameless workaholic, but even she liked to have fun once in a while.>Better check her office. She might still be there.>Ask somebody if they've seen her.>Search somewhere else.>Other

>>26162051>Ask somebody if they've seen her. Also gives us a chance to check up on everybody
>>26162051>Ask somebody if they've seen her.The office is the obvious place to check so I kind of doubt she'd be there considering the first thing we'd do is drag her out and she knows it.
>>26162051>>Ask somebody if they've seen her.Let's try this first before we go looking elsewhere.
>>26162051Well, you figure with pretty much everybody down here on the beach, SOMEBODY ought to have seen her...>Who do you ask?
>>26162140The old people.
>>26162140Go around to each group, ask each group if they seem Sam and check on how they are doing.Don't need to spend a lot of time with each group, we don't have all day.
>>26162140Grandma, Elizabeth, Isolde or Tarin
>>26162140Old People Club or Isolde since they've got the best view and Isolde is paying attention to people.
>>26162051>Ask somebody if they've seen her.Isolde, all-knowing protector of the beach, grant us your wisdom as to the location of our girlfriend!
>>26162140You decide to go ask Isolde first, considering she's got the entire beach under her eye. As you approach, you notice that, considering her being raised on a knight's values, her swimwear is rather conservative. A mere one piece bright pink swimsuit to match her hair. Well, things could've been worse, you guess."Hey, Isolde," you say, walking up to her lifeguard post. "Have you seen Sam anywhere?">roll 1d20
>>26162348God damn it.
>>26162348Might as well get that out on a low importance roll.
>>26162348at least we're getting it out of the way in a non-combat roll...hopefully
>>26162348Apparently she hasn't.
>>26162365>>26162375Yeah, we still have the rest of the beach to check on.
I think if we look too hard Sam will just get mad at us for ruining her surprise.
>>26162442Hmm, good point. But we should still at least check on each group on the beach
>>26162442it's not as bad as outright missing it.
>>26162442But what if she's counting on us looking for her as part of the surprise!?
>>26162326"Sorry." Isolde frowns. "I'm afraid I haven't seen her anywhere."Huh, well, that was a bust. Maybe somebody else saw her?>Ask someone else. [specify]>Screw it, look for her yourself.

>>26162775I hope they know how unsanitary it is to do it on the beach.

>>26162854>>Search the beach. This is a beach episode dammit!
>>26162854Well, if nobody on the beach seems to have seen her, then there's no way Sam was here. You decide to take the long trek back to the castle to try and look for her. You consider asking the Stig or Headcase or Julia for a ride up there, but you honestly don't want to disturb them for something like this. And, unsurprisingly enough, the castle feels cold and lonely with nobody inside it. You're pretty sure that the entire castle is pretty much abandoned, the only thing disturbing the peace being the whining and clanking of construction equipment as the academy is being built.Well, you guess it's time to start searching.>roll 1d20

>>26163357Well, to her credit, Sam was NOT in her office doing secret paperwork behind your back. Honestly, you feel a bit guilty that the first place you checked was her office. However, you hit pay dirt when you check her room. A quick knock on her door signified that she was in there."Y-yes?" Sam asks, opening the door a crack."Sam." You narrow your eyes with obvious disapproval. "What were my orders for today?""Um, to have fun, right?" She says nervously."No, not just fun, FUN." You correct her. "And I doubt you're going to find much FUN holed up in your room all day.""W-well." Sam starts sweating. "It's just that everybody's on the beach and they're all wearing swimsuits and...""Sam, what is this all about." Step back from the door."The military girl inside her instinctively obeys your command and steps back, clearing herself from the door. You then raise your foot and kick the door in. >>26165393You suddenly find yourself wandering towards where Heloise is, no doubt drawn by the smells of the food she's cooking on the jury rigged and makeshift grills and stoves she has set up. She's still busy with her work when you walk up."Hey! Heloise!" You call out, walking up with Sam in tow. "Whatcha cooking?""Well, just cooking up some ribs and a few other things, since we have a bunch of pigs and cows we found grazing out in the fields. Doubt anybody's really owned them for a while, so we kinda just helped ourselves." Heloise grins. "Won't be ready for another couple of hours, but I guarantee you they'll be so tender they'll fall right off the bone!"Shit, you're already starting to get hungry.>What do you talk to her about?
>>26165838Don't talk about the upcoming mission, everyone knows about it and probably doesn't want to think about it too much.Ask her how she's been doing lately, how she likes Castle Sturmfuhrer, if she's met our Grandma yet. Ask for her honest opinion on how pretty Sam is.
>>26165953Will second this.
>>26165953ThisAnd with that, I leave for the night. Nice work, MC!
>>26165838Ask how well she hit it up with a certain Squire. The dignitaries didn't exactly leave immediately, after all...And the rest of what >>26165953 said.
>>26165953Thirded. Maybe ask her about that one squire she mingled with back at the party, too.
>>26165838"Heloise, I simply cannot wait to try those out." You say, trying not to drool. Already, you can smell the cooking meet through the cobbled together smokers behind her. "Anyways, I just wanted to see how you were doing. How's castle life for you? Lord knows, I know Sam here's been loving it.""Ah well, it's not so bad. Lotta fellow Darcsens around to hang out with. I mean, it's nice to be able to stay somewhere where people don't give you funny looks all the time." Heloise shrugs. "Your grandma's pretty nice, too. She's been giving me uh.... relationship advice from time to time.""Uh uh." You nod, You're not sure if Grandma teaching Heloise the fine arts of charming men was a good thing or not. "Anyways, Heloise, honest question."You then step aside and push Sam forward so Heloise can get a good look at her."What do you think of Sam's swimsuit?""Gah!" Sam squeaks."Niiiiiiiice." Heloise nods. "Wish I had the figure to pull of something like that..."Heloise touches her breast with both her hands to highlight the disparity in size between her and Sam. It's then that you notice Heloise's swimsuit, which is a simple yet effective black one piece."Well, yours isn't so bad either. It compliments our figure." You say. You see Heloise visibly turn pink. "Anyways, I'm curious. How did that night with that Belkan squire turn out?""Oh, Williams?" Heloise suddenly starts getting a rather dreamy look on your face, which activates warning bells in your head. You've seen this sort of thing before. "He's really nice, really smart, and knows how to handle himself in a fight. He's like... I dunno...">Don't trust him, Heloise, he's the enemy.>That's nice, but you have to think about this realistically.>I wish you the best of luck.>Other
>>26166363>I wish you the best of luck.Don't think he would have the heart to crush her so soon.
>>26166363>That's nice, but you have to think about this realistically.I hate to kill dreams and all but someone has to.Nah, I fucking love doing this.
>>26166363>That's nice, but you have to think about this realistically.
>>26166363>I wish you the best of luck.Eh, if she likes it, no need to crush her dreams.
>>26166363>I wish you the best of luck.No I believe it's tie to embarrass Sam some more
>>26166363>>I wish you the best of luck.
>>26166363>>I wish you the best of luck.If the empire had waited a few months I think most of this never would have happened.
>>26166417Now*time*My spelling is atrocious tonight.
>>26166363"I wish you all the luck and happiness in the world, but due to my position I am forced to be the person who says the sad things, we are on opposite sides of a war, we may run into him on the battlefield, and hopefully we'll be able to find peace before that happens."
>>26166363>I wish you the best of luck.
>>26166363>"Well, yours isn't so bad either. It compliments *our* figure."*snrk*
>>26166363>>That's nice, but you have to think about this realistically. This will end badly.
>>26166363>>I wish you the best of luck.I'd rather not be too dismissive of things but I think the kid may have to rethink things sooner or later.
>>26166363>I wish you the best of luck. Are you exchanging letters/maintaining contact? We might press upon that link if we ever need to contact any of the Balkan knights or Karla.
>>26166363"Well, good luck with that, Heloise." You say. From what you could tell, Williams was a pretty nice guy. Just had the bad luck of being on the wrong side of the war. You just hope their situation doesn't end up like what happened between you and Karla. Oh boy, would that be nasty. "I mean, long distance relationships are already tough, but when you're on opposing sides of a war...""Yeah, I know the risks." Heloise nods. "But, I mean, if the chance is there, how can I not take it?"Leaving Heloise to finish up the rest of her cooking, you and Sam head off for nowhere in particular."You really think it's going to work out between them?" Sam asks."I honestly have no idea." You shake your head."Well, I think it was nice that you didn't shoot down the possibility right away." Sam smiles. "I sort of thought you were going to do that because of... well...""You don't have to dance around the issue. It happened, well all know that." You sigh. "But come one, this is time for FUN, not bad memories.">Hang out with who?
>>26166640Come on, Julia, need to check out that new cannon!
>>26166640Check out Tarin on swimsuit?
>>26166640Hang out with Ramirez, Brillant, Tarin, and Elizabeth at the lighthouse. We need to go diving into the water! It'll be fun, we can throw Sam in if she doesn't want to have FUN.
I wonder if anyone brought some pineapple salad
>>26166640To the lighthouse! RAMIREZ, DO A PERFECT DIVE!
>>26166697thats for PILOTS you fool!
>>26166640Tarin, Tarin, Tarin.
>>26166640"Hey Sam, how about we do some diving?" You say, point up to the top of the old lighthouse."Ummmm, are you sure that's safe...?" Sam asks nervously."Of course it is! Otherwise a perfectly sane guy like Ramirez wouldn't be doing it!" You laugh, locking your grip on her hand tighter. "Come on, it'll be FUN.""You keep saying that word..."It takes quite a bit of time to climb the spiraling stairs up to the top of the tower, but you finally reach the top. Up there, you see Ramirez, Brillant, Tarin, and Elizabeth hanging out up there. Ramirez and Brillant are of course wearing swimming trunks. Tarin has a black two piece swimsuit and a thigh holster for one of her knives. Elizabeth is wearing a white two piece. You wryly notice Ramirez and Brillant's gazes continually flicking their way over in their direction. Elizabeth seems to be subtly aware of it, but doesn't do anything about it. Tarin, funnily enough, seems entirely oblivious to this fact."Hey, Captain!" Ramirez grins. "Come up here to enjoy the view, or are you here for some excitement?">What say?
>>26166954Why not both?
>>26166954Both, of course. Although we're already dragging a great view with us.
>>26166954ill second >>26167001
>>26166954"Are you talking about enjoying the view up here or the view out there Ramirez?"After that joke "I'm actually here to terrify Sam and show her the meaning of FUN. Isn't jumping off of perfectly good buildings FUN?"
>>26166792Well, tankers are pretty much this universe's equivalent to pilots, seeing how they've replaced Fighter Jets in most Ace Combat parallels. And do you really want to see Headcase or Julia die?
>>26166954"Both, of course. Although we're already dragging a great view with us." You joke."Ha, you're right about that!" Ramirez laughs. Brillant joins in while Elizabeth smirks. Tarin is still a bit confused as to what's so funny. Sam's face gets even redder,"Though to be fair, I'm not sure which you view you're talking about. The one up here, or the one out there." You add."Both of course!" Ramirez gives that shit eating grin of his. "Hey, while we're up here you up for a diving contest?">You're on.>Ehhhh, maybe not.>Other
>>26167345"absolutely. Sam volunteers for first!"she freaks out, remind of FUN
>>26167345>OtherLet's do it! *Jumps immediately*
>>26167345>You're on.Brace for crit-fail death by diving. Or the best dive EVER.
>>26167345NO do not break our necks!!!
>>26167345>>You're on.would Jaeger do anything less stupid in this situation?
>>26167345>You're on."Brillant, do you also want to jump off a perfectly nice building?"
>>26167345> You're on.
Rolled 14, 11, 14, 13, 2 = 54>>26167345"Oh, you are so ON." You say. As if you could refuse a challenge.>roll 1d20
Rolled 7>>26167642HELL YEAH
>>26167653Oh, yeah, we own his ass
>>26167653We little Chinese girl now
ok, guys, I'm out. Until next time.
>>26167642>>26167653Ok, so, while everyone except the last one (assuming Sam lol) made ok dives, Jager goes and does a majestic swan dive or something. And we get to see someone belly flop. Good times~
>>26167653So we get a perfect dive with somersaults included before we let them know that we grew up here and did this during the summer almost every day some years.
>>26167731Belly flopping from the top of a LIGHTHOUSE, mind you...
>>26167788thank god for ragnaid
>>26167642So does the 2 mean Sam trips and loses her top or something?
>>26167866I think the 2 combined with the 20 means she would have died, but we pull her into a bridal carry mid-dive
>>26167642Apparently, the Old People Club lounging about on the Vergeltung below seem to have become some the unofficial judges for the divers. Well, you guess it could work, considering there really wasn't anybody else around willing to judge.First up is Sam, and she doesn't really dive so much as is collectively pushed off by the five of you. Like hell you were going to let her get back down using the stairs. She lands in the water rather awkwardly, sending water flying everywhere and causing the judges to cringe. Well, at least she seems okay, judging from how you can almost hear her yelling at you from the bottom of the tower. The rest of the squad goes off as well. Ramirez, Tarin, and Elizabeth do rather decent dives. Brillant stumbles a bit and messes up his entry into the water, but is otherwise fine. And then it's your turn, and school all of them by pulling off an absolutely perfect swan dive that would make the gods cry. You make such little splash that the judges at first don't realize you've even hit the water at all. There's applause all around as you surface, though you see Ramirez looking glum at having been beaten."Ramirez, your mistake was that you challenged me to something I did all the time when I was a kid, on my home turf, too." You say to him."Noted, sir."You then see Sam wading up to you. You honestly are afraid she's going to sock you for pushing her off the tower, but instead she grabs your shoulders, pulls you head down, and kisses you."I thought you were going to kick my ass." You say, finally breaking away from the kiss."Well, I kinda was, but how could I after seeing that dive?" Sam smiles. "You looked... .heh... really amazing!""Yeah... well..." You laugh a bit, and you feel your face getting a lot warmer. "Come on, let's see what else is on the beach!"Well, the sun was starting to get pretty low. You probably only have time to do one more activity.>Wat do?
>>26167912watch the sunset with Sam
>>26167912Let's hang out with the old people. They're all interesting and good to hang out with.

>>26168038I like you
>>26168057Dear god what can man do with such debauchery.Truly disgusting.
>>26168057Needs more lewd
>>26168057Well, Sam is exactly the kind of sick bitch to be into that sort of thing, and Jager's just crazy enough to do it too.
>>26167912Well, you still got time before Heloise's cooking is ready, and you got a good idea on how to spend it."Come on, Sam, I gotta show you something." You grab her hand and start pulling her along. Wojtek seems to sense your movements and starts to follow as well, staying a respectful distance behind you two."H-hey! Where we going?" Sam asks."That's classified information, Sam." You grin.Fortunately for you, everything here is just as how you remembered it, such as that little passage hidden in the rocks on the far side of the beach, that led to a secluded little cove that had one of the best views of the sunset."One of the family secrets." You say as you sit down on a little sandbar. "And, well, it seemed right letting you in on this one.""The view's amazing, too." Sam nods."Heh, which one?""Both!" She gets a devilish grin. With nobody else around, it seems she gotten a lot of her self confidence back. And so the both of you sit there, watching the sun set behind the horizon. All the while, Sam rests her head against your shoulder, and you both keep your hands tightly clutching each other. At the same time, a nice cool breeze blows through the cove, sending chills down your spine. And the thought hits you. This might be your last chance, or the perfect chance, depending on one's point of view, to do it.>Pop the question. You know the one.>Nah, it can wait.

>>26168307Dude, we need more DEATH FLAGS. This is a perfect one!
You FOOLS! Jager may be immune to death flags, but Sam isn't!
>>26168337Fuck it. We'll defy the death flags for both of them. WE'LL DO IT LIVE!
>>26168215GIVE HER THE DICKinb4 Jager call out Karla on nat 1 roll
>>26168395Jager would immediately feel horrible and hate himself, and it would be up to Sam to be understanding and make him feel better, with a little help from Huey.
>>26168215"Sam." You say, taking both her hands. It's really funny. You've face down countless enemies, impossible odds, and almost certain death, but now you feel the most terrified in your life. You honestly don't know what's going to happen after you commit to this, but you feel you can't put it off any longer."Sam, will you marry me?"And everything goes deathly silent for what seems like an eternity. You almost wish to you had a camera, just to record the number of expressions Sam's face goes through as she tries to comprehend what you just said to her. However, she finally regains enough of her sense to answer."Yes! Yes!" She says, crying and laughing at the same time before kissing you again.Unfortunately, by the time you return to the beach it's already well past dark and everybody's returned to the castle, leaving behind an empty beach. However, just for tonight, you and Sam wouldn't have it any other way.>WELP. We are absolutely and totally committed now. Next thread we start the final offensive, so hold on to your asses! Next thread will be Monday 6-7pm PST!
>>26168471Just then, Karla appears with the childhood saber and stabs Sam in the kidney.lol, jk
