You are a Magical Girl, and you're seriously considering shooting the young man you're currently on top of. Just a flesh wound somewhere unimportant, like on a leg, or maybe on an arm. Something that'd heal up quick enough even without the application of magic to cure it. It's nothing personal, of course. Nothing personal at all. The fact that you're more than a bit pissed at someone outside of your work actually managed to sneak up and you and get into knife range doesn't factor into it at all. Or how today's succession of events had continuously worn down your patience into a tissue-thin veneer of not shooting people in the kneecaps the moment they so much as look at you wrong. No, nothing professional. Just work, after all.
>>26006907It's strange, though. You wouldn't have spent more than a split second thinking about it, back then. You wouldn't even think about justifying it, or mentally going over how it'd affect the op as it proceeded. This is how it begins, you sigh mournfully to yourself. This is how you become a stalwart crusader against all things fun. This is how you become normal and dependable. This is how you become Sayaka.Someday, you'll be able to hate Mami for pushing for your promotion.Probably around the same time when you're able to wake up remembering just what the hell you did to piss off a world-eating eldritchian horror so badly she gets murder-erections whenever you visit her. It's with another sigh, then, that you slip the Golden Desert Eagle back into its holster, underneath your jacket and concealed from view. You get up off of Kyosuke a moment later, and help him up back to his feet by his tie. He managed to thank you a moment after getting the ability to breathe again. As the both of you begin to make yourselves a bit more presentable in strange, awkward silence - strangely reminiscient ofa couple putting their clothes back on after a rough rendezvous in some shrubbery - it's here that you ask the young man about this tradition of theirs. Seeing as it's obviously a dangerous game to play - trying to sneak up on a magical girl just to steal a scrap of her costume - did anyone from his agency ever manage to succeed?"Only a few, Miss Matsuda. It's a rare enough occurence that whoever manages to do it gets a huge bonus and a pay raise, not to mention better equipment." The young man explains as he shrugs his coat back on. Really? Well, you can understand his enthusiasm at least. Who's the last guy to manage it, and who was the unfortunate Magical Girl that got to be the patsy?[1/2]
>>26006914"Allow me to verify that for you, Miss Matsuda." The young man presses a finger into his ear, and you switch on your own headset at his gesture. "HQ? HQ, help me verify something, is that alright?"You hear what seems to be a female voice come over the shared frequency. "Go ahead, prettyboy. What's eating you?""Thank you, HQ." Kyosuke winces a bit at the nickname, seemingly embarassed, but ploughs on. "Who's the last person to win the Sparkles Award?""That thing?" A sigh. "You guys and your stupid contests. Gimme a moment." A shuffling of paper. "Here we go - ah, figured. It's the Big Boss who just retired a year ago. Ol' Jack, someone before your time, prettyboy. Says here he barely managed to get a bead from the Sixth Warmaster's necklace, something like that."The Warmaster of the Sixth? How'd he manage that? The woman at the other end of the line takes a moment to reply, and you realize a moment too late that you spoke out loud."...And I wasn't aware another sparklebitch is in on the conversation, Prettyboy. I should've known." A chuckle. "Fine, whatever. Apparently he managed it after the both of them hunted each other in a jungle, or something. Got it after he caught her sleeping off a meal. Managed to escape juuuust barely." Another chuckle. "That should be enough to quench Miss Sparkle's curiosity, right?"Kyosuke hastily replies before you could respond. "That's fine, HQ. Thanks. ...Prettyboy out." There's another cackle as the party at the other end switches off, and he looks at you guiltily. "Er. Sorry about that, Miss Matsuda. Some of my colleagues don't really appreciate what Magical Girls are doing."You wave his apology away. Nothing for him to apologize for. At least you know that it's not some kind of mind trick, or something.[2/3]
>>26006919"Well, allow me to apologize again for what I tried, Miss Matsuda." He bows to you again, contrite. "I was really hoping I'd get it, but I'm obviously out of my league, here." Kyosuke laughs, rather lamely. "Thank you for not shooting my legs off." The young man adds after a moment.Nothing to thank you for, either. It's your damn professionalism in the way....But if he still wants that pay raise, though...you may have an idea about that. An idea about a year or so in the making. Brewing ever since someone set you on fire as a distraction."...What idea, Miss Matsuda?" You'll tell him on the way back to the stage, you tell him. Hiding a small smile as you reach up to adjust your glasses. The both of you manage to return to the stage without any further hassle. The practice session seems to have wrapped up, and some of the idols are already back into their civilian clothing, going off on their seperate ways, each one bidding Ruri goodbye in turn. It's almost a formal affair, the idols lining up to bow in front of a smiling Ruri, the super idol sitting regally in a ordinary white plastic chair. The chair could've been a throne in how she sat in it, while a rather forlorn Deepthroat aimed a small hand fan at her, cooling her while she sipped a large iced coffee."Hey, Murderface!" Sayaka bids a few idols she'd been chatting with goodbye - and you supress the reflex of drawing your gun and shooting the strange, surreal apparition walking towards you. The unreal, impossible abomination all but running towards you.Sayaka's smiling. Holy fuck, she's actually smiling.[3/4]
>>26006932WOO THE BEST TIME OF THE DAY!
>>26006932"The hell were you? You missed us just KILLING the entire dance number! And it's really awesome, you should've seen it--" It's then that the Blueberry stops right in her tracks, her usual scowl slammming down hard on her cheerful smile. Eradicating every trace of it existing. "...What the fuck are you looking at?" She snaps, and you almost sigh in relief at this. Now this Sayaka, you know--...Oh. Wait. She was looking at Kyosuke when she said it. The young man had walked behind you on the way here, and was now holding up his hands in surrender, his face pale. "You'd better turn around and get the cars ready for our trip back to the Hotel or I'll gut your shit!""R-Right away, ma'am!" Kyosuke manages to nod at you, before all but hastily booking it out of view. Speaking frantically into his headset's mic all the way. ...Christ, he actually sounds scared. You lower the volume until it's barely a decipherable volume, and turn towards Sayaka."...What?" Sayaka blinks at you, puzzled, before frowning again. "Just...just trying to get those goons to pick up the pace, that's all!"Right. Just that.Behind her, you see Iori, also talking to a few idols in a distracted sort of way. Sneaking glances your way, as if wanting to talk to you about something. How do you react?

>>26006980 >>26007025 >>26007033You raise an eyebrow at the Eversor. She doesn't need to go nuclear on the help. And you were just scoping out the place for sniping spots, just in case.Sayaka narrows her eyes at you for a moment. "...Hello? Earth to Murderface! Since when did you give a shit about the help? That's all they are!" It's here that Sayaka's voice goes up a few notches on the volume scale, evidently trying to have Kyosuke - and the other guards - hear her. "They're just the help! Bunch of thick-necked muscleheads who can't even guard a cake from a cake-hungry fatty! If they could do their goddamn jobs right we wouldn't need to even be here in the first place!"Of course, the idols also heard her little rant, and as you look around, you notice that they've stopped chattering, looking at Sayaka with a myriad of reactions - some intimidated, some outright afraid, and in the case of the red-haired S idol that Deepthroat pointed out to you earlier, frank admiration. Even Ruri is sporting a rather amused smile at this. The security detail are probably the only ones that aren't really that amused, stiffly standing to attention. You spot a few sneaking glances at Sayaka, their lips curling into frowns.Well, anyway. It looks like she had fun with the practice, though."Huh? Oh. Oh, yeah. It was great! Er, I mean..." Sayaka's smile turns up again, before her eyes widen and her cheeks flush red. As if...uncomfortable to appear human and unbitchlike to you. "It was...alright. Not that much of a pain, although the routines can get pretty boring the twentieth time you gotta run them through. Okay as a light exercise, though. I didn't even break a sweat!" She grins at this, and you see a few idols turn away at this, obviously dismayed. You note that the idols doing so are a bit flushed and sweaty, having not yet changed out of their costumes. Probably too tired to do so at the moment.[1/2]
>>26007385Homura _is_ faust. how can gretchen be faust. jesus I'm so glad i dont follow this shit.
>>26007483"I hate to admit it, but she's right," Ruri chimes in from behind Sayaka, the super idol throwing one arm around the Eversor's waist. Deepthroat orbiting her still, keeping the small, pathetic hand fan aimed. "Seriously, she danced circles around us! I think even Makoto-chan would've passed out if all of us tried to keep up with her pace!" Sayaka manages an embarrassed smile at this. "Seriously, Sayaka-chan, dial it back a bit! You're making the rest of us look bad, and we do this for a living!""Haah, uh, sorry about that, Ruri-chan..." The blue Eversor starts to turn red, giggling awkwardly. GIGGLING. That's twice she'd blown your mind today."Don't mind, don't mind!" Ruri cheers. "Just so long as you'll give my offer serious consideration! We'd love to have you on board as an idol, you know! In fact..." The super idol looks Sayaka up and down. "I'll be surprised if you say that you haven't done this before! You should have had, or else I'll have to acknowledge that you've got more natural talent at this than me!""A-ah, ahaha, that's too much, Ruri-chan..." Sayaka is clearly embarrassed, here, yet loving it just as much. "Honestly, this is my first time..."...Liar. >>26007694I'd forgotten pinky was based on that completely awful story, but I refuse to believe it impacted anything other than basic design. Even as pulpy and fanservicey as MGNQ can be it's still so far above that awful mess that they're incomparable. And it doesn't change the fact that using Faust for Madoka or any character derived from Madoka is retarded as fuck, since she DOESN'T FIT AS FAUST. No, not even pinky.
>>26007810Didn't Decu admit that Faust's name was a nod to Magia?
>>26007811Not all references need to be cast in iron, jeez. She just so happened to take the name because she gave magical girls power in exchange for their souls, and apparently just so happened to borrow the name. Not everything needs to match up exactly.
>>26007832Yes, but there's a difference between making a reference and ripping off everything.
>>26007811Actually, considering what the learned in the Siberia arc (Godoka is still alive as a fragment of Faust and designed the Golden Weapons because that was literally the ONLY chance she had of prevent Faust from fucking everything up forever) it might be sort of kind of applicable.
>>26007836It wouldn't be so bad if it was a random reference, but when the series already has a character that's straight-up supposed to be Faust, thematically and even plot-wise, naming another character Faust is the dumbest thing.

Because that would be all sorts of bad - not to mention that your boss isn't into employees moonlighting. He's very strict about that kind of thing."Well, even just as a part-time thing, if it's really too much to have her with us as a full-time idol!" Ruri grins at you. "And I'm sure your wouldn't mind - he's the business-minded sort, isn't he? A few mutually-profitable deals here and there'd soften the blow of having Sayaka-chan here work for us a bit." The super idol giggles here again, before rubbing cheeks with the Eversor and flashing a peace sign. "Noriko-chan, photo op!""Got it, Ruri-sama," Deepthroat says hollowly, holding up an...expensive-looking DSLR with an equally expensive-looking lens. "Anyway, I need to get out of these sweaty clothes and take a shower! Sayaka-chan, you can join me if you want, alright?" There's a slapping noise, and Sayaka jumps forward with a squeal, both hands grabbing her rear, cheeks crimsoning all the more. Ruri giggles again, before finally walking off towards what looks to be a changing room built specifically for her. Some of the goons standing on either side of its entrance, hands behind them and facing forward. The both of you stare at Ruri's back as she all but sashays her way to her exclusive changing room. Well, you're glad she isn't planning on bailing out on the op anytime soon. But she should at least try not to let it get in the way of work."...Hah. You, lecturing me about that?" She grins at you, a shade of the previous Sayaka returning. "Fuck you, Murderface."You return the grin with a halfhearted smile of your own. Attagirl. It's here that Deepthroat seems to materialize behind Sayaka, tugging at her sleeve. You see the Eversor pull back on the stabbing reflex to turn towards the short idol, forcing a friendly smile onto her face. "Y-yes? What is it, Noriko?""M-Miss Ruri is already in the bath and waiting for you, Miss Sayaka," Noriko murmurs. "S-she says you should join her right now, before the rose petals sink.""...Please tell Ruri-chan I'll be right with her," The Eversor replies, and Noriko stumbles off. Sayaka turns back to you. "Well. Uh. Let's...keep this between the both of us, eh, Murderface?"Sure. No problem. ...Oh, Kyoko's coming over with Midori later. Is there anything Sayaka might want for her to bring along besides the stuff she asked for?"Huh? Oh..." Sayaka thinks. "Nah, nothing, really. Already told her what I need, shouldn't be anything more than that." She nods at you, before heading off towards the changing room. "Just...keep an eye out, okay?"Yeah. Sure. You look around as Sayaka leaves the scene. Some of the idols are still hanging around, some waiting for their rides home, others...well, just looking at you while talking amongst themselves. Iori is clearly caught off-guard by this, and you see her shake her head furiously from the corner of your vision. "N-no, Chiaki-san, nothing of the sort! That's...that's honestly dreadful!" A moment of silence. "Have...have you done that before, Chiaki-san? Kill somebody that way?"...Probably? You've got an unreliable memory, remember? There's a good chance of it, any case."I...I see. Um..." Another awkward silence. "A-anyway! I wanted to talk to Chiaki-san. I mean, um, after what happened the last time we....we talked. But before that, I...I'm sorry for talking to you like this." You could hear the sad smile in her voice. "I...I just don't want the others from looking at you the way they did back then."That's...that's considerate of her, but she didn't need to go to such lengths. You hardly care what a couple of idols think of you."A-ah." Off-guard once more, Iori falls silent. "But...but Kyuubey wouldn't appreciate losing potential clients too, would he?"...Well, she's got a point there. But you hardly care what the mutant cat thinks of you, either."I...I see. W-well, um...anyway. Back at the coffee shop--"Yes. Back at the coffee shop. What about it?"...Yes. I...I'm sorry for making a scene, back then, Chiaki-san. And I wanted to say that I meant every word of what I said. I..." Iori pauses here, her breath catching. "I'd like to at least be your friend I realize that I've....come on too strong, and I may have expected too much, too fast. I apologize for everything, Chiaki-san."Huh. Well. >>26008946there's definitely some improvement.
>>26008946Technically their relationship was worse at first, with them trying to kill one another, but they've warmed up just a bit to the level of "jerky rivals". At the moment, Sayaka seems too happy with the whole idol thing to be too grumpy for once, though. It also helps that Kyousuke is currently acting as a lightning rod for her hate.
>>26008946Came to an understanding earlier. Then got better as Chiaki showed some concern to Blueberry.
>>26008946Not quite that far, no.We started off maybe a little worse than canon, due to our first meeting involving us shooting QB and getting the splatter all over her face.Recently we've been trying to patch stuff up, at first simply to be a better person, and more recently because we wanted Kyoko as our Aide and she wanted Sayaka to come along as part of a package deal.We still spend free time looking for reasons to murder each other, but most of the time we're at least professional. >>26008794 >>26008830You turn towards Iori - and you find yourself staring back at Iori, the idol looking back at you hopefully and warily at the same time. As if optimistic and at the same time afraid of how you'll respond, how you'll react to everything. ...She probably saw how bad of a mood you've been having lately, so she can't really be blamed for it, now can she?"...Chiaki-san?" You hear her voice come through the earpiece of your phone. Sounding the most timid and the most vulnerable she'd sounded ever since you'd met he. For the first time, at the penthouse suite in the Ritz. It's with a decisive tap of your smartphone screen that you end the call - causing Iori to look back at you with equal amounts of confusion and hurt. After you start walking towards her, though, confusion seems to come to the fore, along with nervousness and a bit of fear, if her suddenly-wide eyes are anything to go by.You could feel every other idol looking at you as you finally stop in front of Minase Iori. The idol herself is trembling a bit - her phone still held up to her ear, as if frozen there, unable to move. You try to ignore this - as well as the reflex of spitting out something rude and crass at the crowd ogling the both of you - before managing a smile of your own. Mirroring the nervous one Iori is trying to force right now."I can work with friends," You hear yourself say, as gently as possible with a voice ravaged by too much drinking and too much smoking. "I don't have a lot of those."Iori could only look up at you and nod, unable to form any words. She nods again, managing to finally put her smartphone down. What she doesn't manage to do, though, is to put it away properly - the gadget clattering on the floor as she stands up suddenly, in a flurry of expensive cloth and silk, both her arms wrapping around you in an embrace. Your own arms falling slack by your sides in surprise.[1/2]
>>26009379You...you don't know if she's crying, but with how she's trembling against you, she may as well be. ...Great, fantastic, you made someone cry again. You're just getting a bit tired of always managing to screw shit up like this--"N-no, thank...thank you, Chiaki-san." Iori whispers, sniffling a bit, but otherwise, sounding...okay. "That's all I wanted. That's what I needed. I..." Iori's arms slacken very slightly around you, before hugging you tight again. "I don't have a lot of friends, either."...Huh. Well...you're...one of her friends, now. And she's one of yours. The idol nods, a small giggle muffled into your costume. "I really like the sound of that, Chiaki-san." A moment. "U-um, I'm sorry, but...is it okay if we stay like this for a bit?"Uh. Um. You don't really know, but--"Miss Matsuda?" Kyosuke's voice comes over your headset, the volume automatically scaling up....What is it? You grumble into your mic. Bit busy, here."...I apologize for interrupting, but Miss Sakura and a companion of hers are here. Should we let them in, now?"How do you react?

>>26009523NoNo no noNoNoWe are not bringing Iori into this shit.We are not using her as an asset. The whole reason we broke it off with her so adamantly is because we don't want her to get involved in the Magical Girl shit.
>>26009528We already warned Midori about Iori's presence. She'll likely be in disguise.
>>26009388[X] Yes, dammit. Your mission is to snatch something from Kyouko. And make sure Ruri and Sayaka aren't doing anything stupid.
>>26009528>>And you suppose Iori and Midori meeting is a great idea? It's a terrible idea, but it's going to happen eventually. We already warned Midori that Iori's here, at least. Personally, I think we should have brought up the idea of having Midori confront Iori and apologize, but that got shot down. I really don't like having this hanging over us and would've preferred to take care of it as straightforward and as quickly as possible.
>>26009388[x]"Sounds like my two companions are finally here, Kyousuke. Give them a welcome as soon as possible."
>>26009563>Midori confront Iori and apologizeEventually, yes. On the job? No.
>>26009552Wonder what Kyosuke will gun for. I'd offer to take her coat, then show it triumphantly to Chiaki. That should count. If she has a coat, obviously.

>>26009563The whole thing was kind of traumatic and harrowing, considering such a terrible thing was not only nearly done, but almost broadcast to the world. This is one of those cases where I wouldn't blame Iori for not accepting a mere apology, and it'd probably strain her relationship with us for a long time, if not kill it permanently.
>>26009577Especially not now, after what just happened.
>>26009563I'm fine with the confront/apologise deal, but personallly i'd want such a thing to wait and not happen for a couple months, at least, when the trsuma isn't so raw.
People trying for a relationship with the idol, that ship has long gone the way of the titanic. Hell even publicly becoming friends is a bad idea as she is now a viable target for any enemy we have.

Okay so assuming we get another update this thread>IF Sayaka is banging Ruri, tell her to cut it out and if she ever pulls this shit again, her soul gem is dust>IF Ruri is banging mesmerised!Sayaka, [x] THE FLESH OF FALLEN ANGELS>IF neither, inform them that Kyoko is here, then turn, hairflip and leave, ignoring their reaction to our presenceI gotta go to bed man I am going to be such a zombie tomorrow. >>26009699[x] This sounds good
>>26009713Of course. He wouldn't want some pleb to ursurp his position.
W told Sayaka that Kyoko was going to be here soon. I doubt that she's having a go with Ruri. And if she is... well. I guess that's how their relationship works.
>>26009699There's no way they're horizontally shuffling, because A: Deku loves fake-outs (even if this wouldn't be that much of one) and B: MGNQ is quite PG, when you get down to it.
[x] ask for descriptions and go to meet 'Sayaka' and guest just to confirm identities. fukken enemy magical girl illusion shenanigans.
>>26009737>>And if she is... well. I guess that's how their relationship works. And if it doesn't work that way, and she hurts Kyouko, we fucking kill her.
>>26009699There is only one conclusion if we let sayaka get Mesmerised/cheat on Kyoko.
>>26009751>quite PGIt seems someone has forgotten how Kharn Quest started off.
Alright, that's enough for this thread! MGNQ to resume tomorrow, I have to wake up early to watch Cherno Alpha the Movie!Writeup incoming from a new writeperson! Questions answered after it!
>>26009762Still pretty PG, and that was Kharn.>>26009768slp
Pretty much all of this really happened. The parts that aren't in barriers are more or less completely true, I'm awful sure of that. My buddy Ash really did get her hand ripped off by a witch and had it replaced with a chainsaw, I shit you not. Granted, there are a few parts of it I ain't too sure about. Mostly because I was either getting smashed into unconsciousness, or stoned out of my head on drugs. Sometimes something Riggs gave me, most of the time something I got slipped. Hell, the first time it happened it came out of a bottle a' cola. From a vending machine and everything! Anyway, I'm getting all sidetracked here, I got a story to tell. My name's Caroline Brandt. This yarn I'm gonna be spinning for y'all is about what I consider my best friends on this Earth. Some of the other girls called us Night Owls, and it stuck enough that we took it for ourselves. We're witch hunters, for the Crazy Eighth way off in Santa Destroy. Called so cause we're up all night, obviously. Most witches don't go prowling around town during the day. Most of em. No idea why, there's no fuckin' rhyme or reason to it. Some of the whimpiest hits we ever made were on what we liked to call Daywalkers. And then later on our whole squad was probably only saved more than once from getting put down for good by sunrise when some of the really terrible things runnin' around out there come callin'. Maybe they just can't stand the light cause it lets em' see just how fuckin' ugly they've got. Anyway, sidetracked again(1/7)

MA maybe, probably more likely R with the way MUH CHILLUNS seems to influence the various ratings boards.
This story's kinda long. It's not particularly happy either, and the end left me with one hell of a bittersweet taste in my mouth, let me tell ya'. But I think it ought to be told. I'm writin' this for a reason. And the fact that only several thousand little girls are probably going to be the only people able to read it without thinkin' it's nothin' but a load of horseshit, or just some fantastical fiction story ain't gonna stop me. Someone's gotta know what happened. Shit I need to do this even if I never actually show anyone. Just gotta write it down somewhere. Think I might just lose my mind if I don't get some of this shit out of my head. Everything about that stinking bitch Tower, with Evie, the witch cults. With the Sleeper, especially, but she comes later. Much later. Bit scary when I think that this whole thing took maybe a month. And to this day I've been doin' the Eighth's work for maybe three months as I'm writing this. I guess it all started just after I got that dossier with my first real mission in it. For me and Ana too. Her whole name's Anastasia Krylova, but she says Anastasia's too damn fancy for her likin' so she just wants everyone to call her Ana. If you want to piss her off call her Stacy though, she hates that. The two of us were sittin' around in the cafeteria, and I hadn't yet cracked the thing open to read. Nobody's supposed to start fights in the chow hall, cause it's a bitch to get cleaned up again because every time it ends up some insane sort of combination lethal bar brawl/food fight.(2/8 fucking character limits)
>>26009805It still fuckin' happens all the time though. Most of the smarter girls went down the street to Burger Suplex or somethin' to avoid the carnage, but Ana and I like to flirt with disaster, so we'd hang around and wait for a fight to start and talk about bullshit while we waited. At least she'd try to, and I'd get argumentative or somethin'. I wasn't exactly the friendliest gal in the Officio then. Still pretty bitter about a lot of stuff that I'll get to real soon, I reckon. The two of us were in our costumes for now. I remember not being too happy with mine when I first saw what I looked like in it, but that died when I saw some of the other girls in theirs. Christ, some of em' probably got more showin' in those things than they got covered up! The upside was the brown duster that came with the thing, kinda made me look like some old west gunslinger. Well, as long as you were lookin' at me from the back. From the front you could see my bellybutton and everything and I just felt kinda fuckin' silly. Too damn cold some mornings too. And before you start sayin' that Cali ain't that cold, how about to you come to where I'm from. I was born in 'nawlins, and raised in a fuckin' swamp before we moved to this nuthouse a year ago. So you just smile and nod while I bitch about how cold your shitty state is in the morning, and I don't call you a fuckin' weenie when you whine about the heat bein' so oppressive it literally tries to grind you into the sidewalk. But back to the story. Ana leaned over the table, in backless and frilly white dress and asked me somethin' as casually as she could with that subtle little Russian accent of hers.“So how many of our colleagues wished for a dick, do you think?”(3/?)
>>26009816I remember half choking on my food there. I'd been pretty content to reply with monosyllabic grunts to her dumb questions before that one caught me way off guard. I still wonder if she was actually serious about that one, or just wondering if I was listening to anything she was saying. Never can be too sure with her.“What kinda sick pervert would wish for somethin' like that. Why?”She just shrugged at me, smiling. Ana knew she'd gotten to me with that one. “Some people are into that sort of shit, Carol.”I shook my head, pushing my food to the side and narrowing my eyes at the black haired Vindicare in front of me. “How fuckin' many. How are you supposed to pick someone up as a girl with a fuckin' cock. They'd wanna know beforehand, so you gotta tell em first. What the fuck are you supposed t' say? Ey bitch! Wanna have a nice dance around my pole!”I feel it's also worth mentioning I also didn't have much of an inside voice back then. So I probably managed to draw a few real weird looks with that remark. And if Ana's right, might've gotten a few all hot and bothered. The latter's what really worries me.Ana coughed to keep herself from giggling, trying to get a word in over my rant. “I really do not think you would need to just say...”“No, that ain't the biggest problem!” I shot back, in full swing. “If you're into chicks, why are you looking to get a cock? Dykes ain't into cocks, that's why they're dykes. Even people swinging both ways would be pretty fuckin' weirded out by that kinda' shit, Ana!”I think I could have gone on like that for a pretty long time, if someone comin' up behind me hadn't gone and jerked my chair away from the table.(4/?)
>>26009816>“So how many of our colleagues wished for a dick, do you think?”HAHAHA I LIKE HER ALREADY
>>26009823My rant interrupted, I glared up at whoever'd gone and wrecked my train on thought while I was on a roll. Sneering down at me were the lovely faces of Kheda and Prina Firecracker. I think they're Chechens, since I called them Russians once and Ana got pretty fucking pissed off and made it clear they weren't. The Eighth grabbed em' from the scores of orphans the local mob left behind since we were perpetually short of warm bodies for a variety of reasons. They too were witchhunters, a sister Eversor/Vindicare team. Well, they weren't actually sisters, but I guess they were close enough they may as well have been, and got awfully goddamn mad if someone told them otherwise. “Hello Carrot! You're buying our lunch today!” grinned Kheda, rattling my chair around. “Yeah, five for both of us should do, and not a penny under, Carrot.” I think it's also worth noting that I fucking loathe that nickname, Carrot. My hair is fucking red, not orange goddamnit. There are only about three people in the world I'll tolerate callin' me that. And if you read this and decide to call me that too, I'll shoot ya' right in the box. “Look Tweedledee and Tweedledum, I ain't in the mood for your horseshit right now. So scram, I'm trying to talk about ladycock with Ana here, ain't that right?” I looked over to the Eversor, who nodded. I thought it was funny that she seemed even less happy to see those two than I did. “I don't think she's taking us seriously, Sister! We're pretty dangerous, aren't we?” Kheda said to her not-sister. “You should show them how dangerous we are!” agreed Prina, rattling my chair around again.
>>26009816>“So how many of our colleagues wished for a dick, do you think?”Aww shit, 5 star question nigga
>>26009833It was Ana's expression that tipped me off first. The look of loathing slid right off her face and turned into this shocked stare. I looked back up again, just about the same time I heard the sound of a gun being drawn. Now I was about a split second from going for a rooty-tooty point and shooty of my own when I saw it wasn't me that Kheda was gunning for. Instead she placed the barrel of the .45 she just drew against her temple and blew a good chunk of her skull all over the fucking table. I'm pretty fucking glad none of it landed on me, since I was open mouthed in shock at what just happened and I really didn't want to find out what Kheda's brainmeats tasted like. A lot of it ended up on my food. The rest pasted some poor girl sitting just next to Ana. I don't think the poor kid realized what she'd been hit with at first since she was faced the other way talking with her friend. So as I watch in amazement as Kheda is only rocked in place from popping her own skull with a handgun, she turns around and hits Ana right in the face with her mashed potato volcano, who was also staring in slack jawed horror at what just happened. For a few seconds, all I could hear was a numb-tongued gurgling out of the wounded Russian, then the cracking of bone as her head started to put itself back together, just growing in new bone and brain and skin and everything right there. And to top it all off, after a few snorts and coughs, that bitch spat out a bloody chunk of bullet right there in front of me.
>>26009843Reminds me of Albedo.
>>26009843I stared back up at that grinning bitch as the poor kid with the greymatter facepaint started to realize exactly what she was wearing and was starting to panic a little. “I will pay you both ten each if you never fuckin' do that again. Ever.” I breathed, still stunned, and dragged a fresh Jackson out of my coat. Prina snatched it from my hand and let go of the chair. The both of them fucked right off as things suddenly started to heat up inside the mess. I could hear a couple more gunshots of all sorts of calibur, axes, swords, spears, and every other kind of cold steel killing implement under the sun being drawn, as the food began to fly. Yeah, shit gets fucked up pretty quick around there. It was a short fight, but a good one, I guess. Only a couple of us ended up killed, but it's hard to keep us down. That's the good side of all this Magical Girl shit, when you want to cut loose while spirits are high, you can really cut loose on each other and not worry much about it. I think the highlight was some kid that couldn't have been older than twelve doing some kinda kung-fu action movie acrobatics shit through the air and snatching that twenty right out of Prina's hand before flipping right into the crowd and fucking off for good. Other than that, not much worth mentioning. Ana still hates mashed potatoes to this day. Eightball got real pissed again about the mess getting trashed, which didn't stop another fight from happening the very next day. A little bit later we'd got the food and blood washed off, and I'd wiped all the brains off the dossier's folder, something occurred to me about how hard to kill we are sometimes. How it's cause we're pretty much just a corpse if our pretty little Soul Gems get a bit too far from the rest of us. I thought it was funny that I'd never felt this fucking alive until I was dead. And even after all the shit I've yet to tell you about, I still don't regret signing off my soul in the slightest.(7/7 muh charlimit)
