Twitter for thread information: @GhostAdjutantMission archives:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Ghost%20QuestResource list:http://pastebin.com/mscxiyRT(Currently doesn't list Black Earl - dropship.)You were a ghost operative of the Terran Dominion, under Emperor Arcturus Mengsk. Your Codename is Delta Phoenix. You received a transmission from Korhal. "The Emperor is Dead. Long live the Emperor. " It seems like a lifetime since the fall of Korhal disabled your neural inhibitor and you went rogue. With the help of a rogue Dominion Marine, Jacob Henderson, you and your small crew secured a Gorgon-Class battlecruiser you now call The Daluke. The Dominion, bounty hunters, and criminal scum alike are all after you with a massive 1.5 billion credit bounty on your head. But they're going to have to earn it, first. You are currently aboard The Daluke in orbit over Kilaro. You crushed the Dominion's security base and sent them running. The Rebellion hails you as a hero for your sacrifice, as you charged the enemy siege tank lines in a stolen viking walker. Although you nearly died and lost your suit, you discovered a Dominion experiment at the planet's primary research installation. You had your engineer undertake a risky experimental procedure to improve your skills. He's requested your presence at Main engineering. Hoping for good news, you start walking from the bridge...
Starcraft wikia is the fluffiest wikia.http://starcraft.wikia.com/wiki/VikingAt the end of this you will find the fuckhuge list of shit ground and space craft (with possible upgrades!) so you can twitch at the possibilities.

>>25878409Awwwwwwww yeah, time for more advances on the ship adjutant.
>>25878527Nah, let's stay Ghost. Nostalgic that way and probably less psych problems
>>25878666It's kind of terrifying imagining DP on terrazine.

The door slides open. Engineering seems to have a good deal of crew now, but it's so large and so many consoles still remain unfilled. You have a long way to go. You step into the next room, tables with robotic arms hang over them. At the center-most table you see the silhouette of your suit under transparent plexiglass. Mac has some goggles on, and is currently typing away at a console. He doesn't notice you for several seconds, and you clear your throat. Your chief engineer stands up immediately and begins talking with all the speed of a madman. and pacing the suit's table excitedly.>"Sir! Your suit, lots of damage - But! - Nothing we couldn't fix with what we had on board. I took some of the schematics for the Adjutant's processor heat coils and replaced it with a psi-sensitive plastic I was able to reverse-engineer from damaged suit 'muscles', if you will. The end result is much better - in my humble opinion. And the stealth reactor? Had a few redundancies. I took a look at our Banshee's stealth reactor - simple thing, really, just a few repeat cross-dampeners that interface with the main power. Using psi-sensitive materials I was able to repeat the process using psionics as an energy source instead of the Banshee's reactor, and, well.. Let's just say you don't want to let the suit into Dominion hands with -this- technology, right boss? Oh, and then the HUD. It was pretty simplistic. Honestly I'm kind of insulted the Dominion gave someone with your skills sensors -that- useless. Infrared and a x2 zoom? Basically a CMC suite.">"They were probably afraid I'd go rogue."Mac stops in his tracks. Dumbfounded.>"Really smart, why didn't I think of that... Anyway. so I took a look at our Goliath schematics, took a few pointers from our sensor tower Schematics, and presto: Infrared, EM field, Biometric scanners, Radar filters, Psionic registries. The problem is I had to connect all of it to your suit's primary processor, can't figure out what it was for."
>>25878768Oh Mac, you wonderful wonderful man. If we or our Adjutant know more about the primary processor and what it's for inform him.
>>25878768Mac don't overwork yourself.
>>25878768Mac I think I love you
>>25878768give this kid a peck on the cheek
>>25878806pretty sure it was for are adjutant and we should make sure Mac takes breaks don't need him to overwork himself and die from heatstroke
>>25878409>>25878768Adjutant I can't participate in this due to scheduling however I would like to contribute in some way, would you like someone to bounce ideas off of? I its how I keep myself sane when I'm not leeching internet off the shitty library in town.
>>25878811*Don't work yourself anymore, unless a similar situation such as this presents itself.>>25878768He is a good person.
>>25878852((Feel free to bounce ideas off the twitter or thread any time.))
>>25878768So you won't be able to use your Adjutant without that processor, but she's on the Daluke now and you can access her anyway. Not a problem from the sounds of things.>"Thank you, Mac. You can get back to work. I'll take it from here.">"Sure thing, Sir. I was going to take a look at our systems, see what I can improve on the ship."The man leaves with a brisk salute, it seems the resoc process also cured a good deal of his awkwardness. You press the open button on the console and view your suit for the first time. The suit's like new, more defined with increased psionic muscles, and painted purple. More sensors decorate the front. You immediately disconnect it and put it on.>Loading...>Adjutant A.I. online.Good morning, Delta Phoenix.

Still think we should head there honestly. Even with the new suit we're kinda... weak for a Ghost Hero.
Adjutant, is our Umojan smuggler contact still kicking? It would be good to have a link with Umojan tech.
I'm gone for 2 days and we do completely retarded shit and almost die again.this was to be expected
>>25879102dudes? Protoss Vision Quest. let's do that
I say we go to Volcanic World HA002We need the resources to build a even bigger armada. Besides imagine all the abandoned outposts and relics they have on there
>>25879121I seem to recall someone expresing concerns about vespene gas, and jumping over there. In addition to that the templar might not like a cruiser hanging above his nexus- last time he tolerated us because we weren't a threat. What would our specific goal for traveling there be?
>>25879125It appears as though our Umojan contact has gone dark at this time.It is likely he will resurface at a later date.>>25879156We do not have access to starport schematics at this time.
>>25879173we hope he may be able to teach us something about psionics and maybe get some other information
Soooo what happens when we jump there with a huge ass fucking Dominion battleship with semi-remnants of Zerg biomass in it straight into Protoss space?Somehow, I'm unsure of this being a good idea.but I guess we can get DT psi trainingwe're so gonna die again
>>25879173training our new guys. practicing with the drop pods. And learning from DT.
>>25879102Okay, the ones I would be interested in, Jungle World XTYU003, we can chat with Kassix again, he might be able to teach us things. But he may consider us bringing the Daluke above his house a serious threat and not be happy with us. Personally I'd go to the Barren World, it lets us get interesting resources, and Dick's Paradise ought to be fun. Or Station 114, perhaps we could pick up more crew there.
>>25879189>>25879192So there's a good chance we might go there and just be flat-out refused assistance, or even attacked. We /do/ probably have some small zerg signs on our ship yet. And he might take offense regardless at a massive xboxhueg ship appearing. The idea of a DT being a shrink for us is hilarious, but still.>>25879156I would be okay with this.
>>25879189To be honest I think the dark templar wouldn't teach us anything. They think of humans with Psionic as children with guns.
>>25879203if we go their we will scan to make sure no new people are their then we land with mainly just DP and maybe some guards like 2-4 people tops
>Volcanic World HA002: Old Zerg hive world. Nuked out years ago during the Brood Wars. Heavy in minerals, vespene gas, and geothermal energy.>Corendis: Jungle World, known for heavy Safari activity. Low in minerals, high in vespene gas. We do need the resources.
>>25879242then we should scrub the ship just to be safe
>>25879269btw what does "heavy Safari activity" mean?
>>25879308lots of wild ferocious animals that would pose a threat to ground teams
>>25879308Awesome animals we can capture and sell to planets for a high price
>>25879308The planet has several encampments of big game hunters that hunt and kill hostile fauna for sport.
>>25879330>>25879332>>25879353Awww yeah. I'm throwing full support behind Corendis then.We can have loads of fun and load up on much needed vespene.

So we're gonna be the Protoss-analogue to the Queen of Blades? Cool.

>>25879881The Templar did not directly state that other planetside operations were restricted. He has only stated that he does not wish additional units to accompany us to his base.
Henderson can keep the troops occupied right?Probably hunt some fauna or train close combat. Henderson is good at brawling.
>>25879903Alright, lets not push our luck then. Ask first then act on what he says.

Any expression at all and you'll be hit. Any sound at all and you'll be hit. You hate this place but there's nothing you can do. You stand at your designated spot, in a lineup with other children standing at attention. Girls, boys, all of them other ghosts. You strafe to the left and bring your C-20-A to bear on the Templar. He runs in a serpentine pattern, his weapon held back in one hand, the other held forward as the bullets do nothing against his shields. He closes the distance and jumps seveal dozen feet into the air, sailing at you. You roll behind one pillar and reload your rifle. Damn, he's fast...>"I can smell your fear, Rising Phoenix. Like a child lost at war..."You turn around the pillar and step out slowly into the open. Your Psionic readers detect nothing. Your infrared detects nothing. Your EM detects nothing.>"Your fear overwhelms you. You believe your own death is imminent at the slightest misstep."You hear something shuffle overhead, you duck and roll. The Templar lands where you were standing, his weapon imbedded in the ground. You take your shots while you can. He lifts up his cloak and shields himself, vanishing into black smoke. You keep stepping backwards, conserving your ammo until you can see him. A reload right now would be fatal...
>>25880867If we have an idea where he is a flash or sticky grenade would be very useful. If we have Recluse Mines we can leave them behind us and punish him for closing the distance without proper care. Hellfire or Irradiation may be a bit too impolite, and EMP/Lockdown wouldn't help I don't think.

You turn and swing from tree to tree, jumping and grabbing vines, branches, and whatever you can as it runs at you. Eventually you reach a river and are forced to stop. The ultralisk stampedes unknowingly into the water and gets taken downstream. Several chunks of it effectively rot off, and one of the smaller 'teeth' runs aground at the bank of the river. >"XO, Set a course for Muric. I need to pick up some resources.">"Yessir."You stand at the bridge, looking out over the jungle world. Kassix's words stick with you, and you look at the Ultralisk tooth hanging from your chest as the jump begins...>((THAT'S IT FOR TODAY GUYS. TOMORROW WILL PICK UP AT MURRIC))((Thread will start at 17:00 4chan time tomorrow. I'll be checking the twitter in a few hours once I get back, so post whatever questions/comments you have there.I'll be archiving this thread in a second if it hasn't been done already.))
>>25883000huh, this one's relatively short
>>25883000Weeeeee, sleep cycles!
>>25883022Probably an attempt to contain our stupidity.
>>25883000what I don't understand it is not 7am yet
>>25883000This is early for you Adjutant. That massive weeklong binge of questing finally reached its peak, huh.
>>25883046@GhostAdjutant>>25883047Nailed it.>>25883050Nope. If I can do it from 8 am to 12 pm every day I will!
>>25883000I am confused, todays session is over and it is still daylight outsideAlso, Adjy, if you can tweet an hour or two before the next session and again when it is live it would be great
>>2588310312pm is adjutant talk for midnight.
>>25883116then clearly this Adjutant unit needs repairs, as 12 midnight is 12AM
>>25883116wait...12 pm is noontime12am is midnight.
>>25883133>>25883135I think Adjy's head just exploded at these revelations
>>25883133>>25883135There's a third 12 o' clock which is 12pm midnight.
Why not just use 24-hour clocks and never worry about 12AM/PM again?
mfw next thread we do nothing but try and build 42 million marines...
>>25883411>Building marines>Not getting double teammed by holo and autonomous body Adjutant.
>>25883539well thats what I'll be voting for, whether that vote wins is another thingwe are named Double Penetration after all
>>25883411Nah, next thread we survive a Chryssalid invasion
>>25883411Ballistics Shields, mang. Also, Widow Mines. We need to complete our mid game.
>>25883619We'd need to find the schematics first. Having Widow mines will severely augment our defences, but since we're based in space, it's of low priority. We going air superiority
>>25883664But what if we could have built-in anti-boarding craft widow mines?
>>25883687Fucking narrow halls dude. We'd badly damage our ship in the process if we can even use them at all.
>>25883687I'd rather defensive measures that did not blow up parts of our ship...
>>25883703>>25883704I mean on the outside of the ship. Something gets close, sets off widow mine.
>>25883726That's what our shitton of defensive turret batteries are for, as well as Wraith/Viking squadrons that we'll get eventually
>>25883726IIRC widow mines do not target air units.>>25883539One day.
Guys, don't forget to vote up in the archives, currently a troll going around spamming downvotes, if a thread gets enough downvotes, its deleted from the archives, which we don't want
>>25883801>widow mine>do not target airClearly you have not seen widow mines devastate whole Zerg/Protoss air forces
>>25883801>Widow mines not working vs airWhat? Yes they do. At least in-game they do. They used to be able to hit cloaked units in the beta without detection but now require it.
>>25883664We could just ask Jemma or the BMC. Hell, the rebels may salvaged shit.Anything that keeps crew alive and gaining exp is good. And they can be used to control air platform or planet-side.
>>25883854>>25883848Oh, well fuck me. Never played past Wings of Liberty.Still not okay with sticking mines all over our hull. That's asking for damage.
>>25883977Widow mines are different from spider mines. Widow mines shoot missiles at the target. Spider mines just blow up.
>>25884012as someone who has never played the games but merely watched all the cutscenes, thanks for explaining
>>25884087Yeah, they were introduced in Heart of the Swarm and never really got introduced in that campaign. They are prevalent in multiplayer though.
>>25884087>>25884012Not to be rude, but please watch some HoTS multiplayer to get acquainted with the newest shit in the games/lore
>>25884203care to point me towards some good material? I'd rather not watch some scrub and thing terrible tactics are good, seeing as we are trying to improve
>>25884476Trying looking up some of the Korean e-sports games.
>>25884476Could watch some replays with commentary by some casters like HuskyStarcraft or TotalBiscuit.
>>25884476liquidwiki should have small comments about each unit.
