The Orange Ring belongs to a single owner who will fucking take your identity after he fight-rapes you and use it to take more things for him because he spends all his time greedily humping his One and ONLY Orange power battery.tl;dr /co/ was here and says you're a faggot.
>>25065358Read again, they're REPLICAS. Not the originals.
>>25065274suh-weet, we evil butler now.
>>25065344Hell, it's just derived from /tg/ in general. We're all murderhobos at heart, and what do murderhobos do?Stockpile lots and lots of stuff.
>>25065315>imma need new charts and a healthy supply of PTSD scenarios for this one.>new charts>situation so bad that new charts are neededYeah, that's bad.Way to go Codeki for setting us on this road of nothing but bad ends.
>>25065375>>25065344And it's not even a BAD behavior. We're a butler; it's our job to always be prepared. To be Norman, who the Megadeus-piloting Negotiator depends on to be able to handle any situation. To be Alfred, who the motherfucking BATMAN depends on to have everything in order. How can we NOT assemble a veritable armory of specialized tools and a set of skills acquired over a very long training program, to be able to handle any situation that comes our way with aplomb and efficiency?
>>25065434/tg/ has branched off to be MINE MINE MINE more than a few times thoughGiven the chance with things like familiars, friends, shiny things, women, successSo we can't really claim we don't fit the ring at times
>Roll for random ring color>Have the character's defining emotion arbitrarily decidedWhat.
>>25065633It was selected from a limited number of rings of each color and a dwindling pool of candidates. It's sort of like how at the time that Hal Jordan was selected, Guy Gardner was actually a candidate that met the requirements, but Hal was closer so the ring said, "fuck it, close enough".An argument for Indigo could be made for Hayate, but the random jostling of the rings in extreme close proximity to each other as well as the dwindling pool of potential users as the class cycled through the bag can be represented by the roll of the dice.Since we ARE actually near the back of the classroom, the Orange Ring might have been analyzing its chances of getting a compatible user, kept getting sniped by the other rings, then saw Shirou coming up and said "FUCK THAT SHIT!" and went with Hayate because he had the closest match to the emotional criteria before Shirou.
>>25065711That is assuming that there was only enough rings in the bag for each student have one, and that the orange one HAD to choose someone. On the other hand the bag could have had enough rings of each type that every student got the ring color most suited to them. In which case I call bull on having it randomly decided OOC, then be told IC it wasn't random. Unless the instructor was lying, of course...
>>25065839There's ALWAYS the chance that the instructor is lying. And assuming that there were enough rings of every color in the bag is just as bad as assuming there was only the number of students, especially since this isn't about creating new Lanterns or getting to know the emotional problems of the students, but to simply get them familiar with the general capabilities of the Lantern Rings.
Hell, just as a guess, he could have shoved 8 of each kind of ring in there, but only 1 or 2 Reds and Oranges in there.Anyways, even though our ring was "randomly chosen by the dice," our character doesn't know that. Just like how characters don't know when they blow a knowledge check in D&D.
>>25065839I think we lucked into having the ring most suited to our personality, and then LG just ran with it. It's entirely possible LG was going to say it was random IC, but after we rolled orange, he changed his mind.
>>25065879You're right, since they're 'training' rings, I bet they just fill the user with the corresponding emotion, in order for the trainee to get a feel for what it's like to use a ring. We do have a little greed, so that could be an explanation why we got that ring, but not so much that we'd be able to use a 'real' orange ring.
>haven't been able to catch threads cause they start at 3 AM where I am and I work now so can't stay up for them>catch the tail end of this thread>we got an orange lantern ring>mfw>what the christ guysOh god this fits our Hayate far too well, we came to get all of the bitches. We already said to Keima that we want him. This ring is going to make Hayate blow past his objections because "You're MINE!"You guys better roll well when that happens.
>>25066445And now that I said that something just occured to me.You are now realising that Keima would get a ring with the power of Love.Keima suddenly in a Star Sapphire battle bikini. The world is forcing him to crossdress.Stop it bo... actually... carry on boner.(ignore the fact that Kyle Rayner used Love and it didn't force him into a bikini, he was channeling it through his green lantern ring)
>>25066548Or he would get Fear given he's currently running away from stuff but that's not as amusing.
So LG, how was GM'ing that Rance Quest?
>>25067254If it lasts I give it ten threads before inevitable crossovering.Princess Maker type quest where we get to raise Team What Is A Vagina.
>>25067254Was fun, would be better if my internet isnt fucked up right now.getting into character [for a new character] is always a challenge.>>25067320nah. If it ever crosses over, I'd finish the conquest first.>>25065913It was supposed to be random, any of the colors can be applied to hayate.you're just thinking now that orange fits him like a glove since what you rolled was orange.
>>25065144>They function like a Green Ring when working alone, but they get supercharged if they're near a Green Ring. That's not quite right. Without a green ring nearby, blue rings give flight, and a protective aura, that's all (can use the aura to make massive shields). With a green ring nearby they unlock the function to create constructs, heal (both physically and mentally) and do some pretty crazy powerful stuff like de-age a star (explained by something about Hope being the strongest emotion but only if you have the Will to actually do something with it). Meanwhile any green rings near blue rings become even more powerful and are constantly charging (I think they hit 200% capacity without even trying and can go beyond that if you push them). A squad of blue and green lanterns working together are insanely strong.
>>25067512LG what rings did the other members of our class get? I want to imagine the hilarity of class ending and Guy saying "I want you to keep these rings on until tomorrow's class and try to control their influence on you." or something like that.
>this thread>hayate goes full greed, like his parents.>even has an orange ring to go with it.well fuck.fuck everything, we gonna bad end now.
>>25067597Gai got greenSakura got indigoJun got green as wellAmazoness, WhiteShirou, BlueSousuke, YellowKenji, RedKeima ___________
>>25067647>Keima ___________Fuck you, saw right through me.Gai got Green and Shirou got Blue. I can just imagine Gai and Kurou riding round all night and dealing with every injustice happening on the planet.Meanwhile we fly around grabbing every woman we find attractive while shouting "You will be mine!"
>>25067647Nobody got Black? But I want some Hayate's Parents, RISE!
>>25063125>more good than badNaru was your fault!
>>25068831He did get us Hina. But, he has cost us around 5 reloads.
Oh shiiit.... Sousuke got yellow ring...
>>25069884Fear...yeah, I can see that working with Sousuke. Most people think he doesn't feel fear, but that's just because he controls it well. He was a mujahideen when he was a kid, a child soldier all the way up to when he's 17. He's got a lot of experience with fear.
EVERYTHING IS MINE. THESE ORANGE CONSTRUCTS ARE MINE.>uses data manipulation to keep them.AND NOW THEY WILL REMAIN MINE.
>>25068524There weren't any blacks in the bag, how could somebody pick one?
>>25067647>Amazoness, White>White LanternFuckin' jesus... Only Batman should have that power.
>>25072894Yeah, that sounds like us.
>>25073230I like this simulation.>data manipulationMY SIMULATION.I wonder what Erica's doing? >hack into her simI like her simulation. That's a pretty rock.>data manipulationMY SIMULATION! MY ROCK! MY WOMAN!
>>25073140>Batman>White LanternHaha are you serious?>>25073442I fully expect us to come out of the simulation, look around and see Erica, Susan and Hina, then we go MINE and grab them with orange constructs. Repeat for EVERYONE we're interested in.
