Two days later, the team is assembled in front of the tank hangers. The bad news is that Black Jack is still blue- the good news is that the rest of the team is now painted so garishly that he really doesn't stand out anymore. The Freshman girls had painted their M3 Lee bright pink, while the History buffs had painted theirs a mismash of bright red, gold, and blue and white along the sides, with slogan-filled flags flying from the top for good measure. The I-Go was a bit tamer, merely having power words written over it in bright white kanji. The biggest offender, though, was the 38(t). The Council had painted the entire tank in bright, chromed gold. It's actually difficult to look at directly in today's bright sunshine. The only tank that had managed to avoid a garish paintjob was Miho's Panzer IV.Patricks spits out a wad of gum while he sits on the lip of his hatch. "Ok, this is bullcrap. I'm calling bullcrap." He says. "They manage to paint their tank gold. GOLD! And yet they couldn't repaint us olive drab?" He looks down at you as you make some last minute inspections. "How many times have you told her to repaint our tank?""Twice." You say, trying and failing to keep the anger in. "I've told her twice. I'm about to go tell her again.""She's screwing with you, you know?" Rose says. "She could repaint this tank any time she wanted- she's seeing how much she can push you, how much she can get away with." You'd figured that out a day and a half ago, but you'd kept your tongue in check. It had gone on long enough.>"Anzu! Why in the hell is my tank still blue?">"Anzu, can I have a word with you. In private.">"Anzu, you really don't want us on your team, do you?"
>>24817269forgot your title>"Anzu, can I have a word with you. In private."
>>24817286>"Anzu, you really don't want us on your team, do you?"We couldn't avoid the rolling in style stage
>>24817286>"Anzu, can I have a word with you. In private.""Anzu, do you want to win, or simply lose in the most garish color schemes possible?"
>>24817286>"Anzu, you really don't want us on your team, do you?"Because it sure feels like it.
>"Anzu, can I have a word with you. In private."
>>24817286[x] "Anzu, you really don't want us on your team, do you?"Yeah let's just ditch for team AMERICA! asap.
>"Anzu, you really don't want us on your team, do you?"She really is a future crackshot. She knows where to hit us for maximum rage.
>>24817286>"Anzu, I eagerly await your explanation of why you were able to acquire enough red, gold and pink paint for 3 tanks but not olive drab."
>>24817286OP you really should post the archive linkshttp://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Black%20Jack>Strip and repaint the tank ourselves
>>24817286>"Anzu, can I have a word with you. In private."HI, BILLY MAYS HERE FOR JAMMING MY BOOT SO FAR UP YOUR SMUG ASS THAT YOU CAN TASTE FUCKING LEATHER!
>>24817286>"Anzu, you really don't want us on your team, do you?""Seriously...You can't find olive drab but somehow found enough GOLD paint for your tank?!"
>>24817286>What the fuck, Anzu! HRGHNFLRGLR!
>"Anzu, you really don't want us on your team, do you?"Let's see how long it takes OP to respond
>>24817286"Anzu, you really don't want us on your team, do you?"Public shame works really well on asians, make her lose ALL THE FACE
>>24817286>"Anzu, you really don't want us on your team, do you?"Time to take a stand.
>>24817286>"Anzu, you really don't want us on your team, do you?"Enough of this crap. She pulls us in and then pushes us around? Hell with this.
>>24817383Let's see if OP ever lets us get this paint off
>>24817417The ride never ends.
>>24817286>"Anzu, you really don't want us on your team, do you?"
So is it worth getting the T25/2?I just elited my Hellcat, and looking at the stats, it seems like a downgrade on all fronts.T28 prot doesn't seem much better, though I've been gunning for the T30 since it was a heavy.Anyone actually used the turreted TDs in that section?
>>24817286Query: Does Black Jack have gun stabilizers?
>>24817286>Anzu. Dafaq. That is all.
We are the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure of Sensha-do. We must embrace our fabulous destiny.>Pose from cupola.
>>24817452Yeah the 25/2 is just the gateway to Tier 8.
>>24817452T25/2 is fine. Has passable mobility, and a turret. The drawback is that it can't mount the 120 from the other T25. The other american TD line has armor as it's main draw. The line you're on has turrets and better speed.
>>24817499We should probably get the Westinghouse gyro then.
>>24817508No. Girls can make a mockery of their tanks, ours is a fucking heirloom. You wouldn't paint grandpa's immaculate bel aire neon green. You don't paint the tank that got our grandpa home safe anything but OD green.
Ok, I have a proposal: If bitch-face doesn't unfuck the paint on Blackjack, all of the tanks are going to be OD green. We paint over their bullshit neon travesty and make them look like armored vehicles are supposed to.
>>24817532I'm on the T25 in the other line. The 28 prot loses speed, and armor. Is the gun and turret worth it?
>>24817286>"Anzu, can I have a word with you. In private."You managed to find fucking GOLD paint, and yet, we're still faggy carolina blue
>>24817573Can we bring up a vote of no confidence to get her kicked off of the student council?
>>24817573Can we do this anyway
Yeah, you've had about enough of this crap, and it just so happens Frau Presidente is walking the line of tanks, a proud smirk on her face."Anzu!" You call out, grabbing her attention while walking briskly towards her. "You know, I believe our agreement was that you repaint our tank or we take a hike." You get up close, using your height advantage to glare down at her. "It would seem that maybe you don't need us on your team afterall?"She stops and, with the demeanor of a Texas highway cop being accused of being unfair, looks right back up at you. "About that- the company screwed up the order. Gave us gold paint instead of your Olive drab." She takes a bite of chip. "We sorted out the order and they said we could keep the gold."Your eye twitches as you desperately attempt to stave off a rage aneurism and keep your composure. She wants you to rage, to scream and curse. She's not going to get from you. She glances over at her tank. "How does it look? Pretty majestic, I think.""When will the Olive drab arrive?" You say, with a clipped tone you've only ever used when describing the discomfort of getting your family jewels caught in your zipper."They said they'd rush it out to us, Monday?" She says, nonchalantly."Monday?" Your brain seeths with murderous intent. She claps you on the shoulder. "Thanks for the understanding. We'll have Black Jack back to the boring old color by Wednesday!">She wants the rage. Give it to her.>Stay cool. You'll have your revenge.>Maybe she's telling the truth?
>>24817593even if we could, the fact of the matter is that we're MALE FOREIGN essentially ATHLETIC transfers, participating in what is traditionally a female sport in Japan. We'd have less than no pull
>>24817555Was Grandpa Army or USMC? if he was a devil dog, it wouldn't be heresy to use a 50's era marine camo scheme on it
>>24817573Paint over the gold sure. But let the other girls roll with style until we get too the serious matches.
>>24817615Naw man, no rage. She wants exactly that.
>>24817615>Stay cool. You'll have your revenge.Don't give her the victory.if possible, find a paint shell and splatter some color on that 38(t) in training
>>24817615Nope. Yell for our crew."Pack it up. We're done here."
>>24817638This. Don't get mad, get even.
>Maybe she's telling the truth? It's too absurd to be made up.
>>24817637Or, alternatively, see what you can do about sneakily painting it all in red, white, and blue
>>24817615>"Receipt statements. Now."
>>24817615>Stay cool. You'll have your revenge. The payback will be all the better
>>24817615Bull. Shit. No. Enough.I mean, maybe do it in a polite way, but still... No. Just... No.>>24817638This. So much this. This just isn't worth it.
>>24817638Well, let's see where this goes
>>24817615>other: Mock"Gold? Majestic? Looks like you're just going to lose. I thought you wanted to win, but it looks like you'd rather simply look good while losing."
>>24817615>She wants the rage. Give it to her."Look, fuck you, fuck the ship you go to school on, fuck dem shoes, fuck dem socks wit da bell on it, fuck yogay-ass fairy faggot writing system, fuck dat stupid monocle, fuck yo sailor suit uniforms, fuck yo skirts, fuck yo sweet potatoes, fuck Gackt, fuck Katsuyuki Konishi, fuck Aya Hirano. I'm from America. My president is black and my tank is GREEN nigga. Now get da fuck off my boat. And if I see you in the street I'm slappin' the shit outta ya."
>>24817615>She wants the rage. Give it to her.and if not find ourselves some paint and fix it ourselves, she's clearly fucking with us at this point
>>24817638Also add in something like "Did you get an e-mail back from the Saunders rep yet?"
>>24817615>Stay cool. You'll have your revenge. We and the boys (+Rose) will have to sneak in at one point and do that sissy floral pattern on her tank. Hopefully the night before a match
>>24817615"Alright, I am going to pack my bags. Please arrange a boat back for us. I am not playing your childish games any more little girl. You have broken our agreement, so my part is off" Time to get our crew together and get the fuck out. Enough of her games.
>>24817680Tanks fall, everyone dies end
>>24817648This. Paint one big ass flag on it
>>24817638This. Getting someone else to pay for gas, ammo, and repairs is great but fuck if it's worth getting shat on by a hobbit girl.
>>24817615>WE don't need to stand for this shit. WE can take our tank and roll on back to America. WE are sick and tired of being fucked around with, and YOU need us more than we need you.
>>24817615[x] Stay cool. You'll have your revenge.PAINT SHELLS GOGOGO
>>24817577You lose a lot of speed, but you gain a fuckton of armor. The gun isn't half bad either, pretty accurate, has nice pen values and decent ROF. Problem is, you can't turn the turret a full 360 degrees. Your armor counts for almost nothing when you get into those tier 9 matches too. And you have an open-top. So, when arty sees you...well, you'll see.
>>24817615[x] "Pack it up, we,re done. Send a response to the Saunders rep saying we'll take them up on their offer."
>>24817615>Stay cool.Is she really trying to test us, or is she just being a scatterbrained ditz? There doesn't seem to be a clear line with Anzu, ever.
>>24817699Is it worse than the Lee?
>>24817615>Stay cool. You'll have your revenge. One word girl: Camo. You'll understand just what I'm talking about soon enough.
>>24817615>>Stay cool. You'll have your revenge.Stay frosty, tanker. Peg 'er tank in the arse when we have the practice match.
>>24817684good thing Legio'd vito it instead of having misogynistic kids ruin everything for us.
>>24817645Bullshit. She is fucking with us. Even if she is not, she is still in violation of our agreement. Either way, our only recourse has been leaving.
>>24817739How do we leave? Who do we contact? It's very nice to say you're leaving, but how are you doing it?
>>24817718...uhh, why compare it to a Lee?Well, no. It's definitely better than the Lee. You'll have to get used to how slow it is though.
>>24817758It's not like we have to evacuate in ten hours. We won't be participating in any Senshado activities and will leave and the first available opportunity. Simple.
>>24817712Saunders made an offer for us? Or are we gonna throw ourselves at their front gates and hope they take us in?
>>24817649Agreed. For fuck's sake, can we resolve this already. Nobody wants to be rolling in style.Pic related.
>>24817615>Wait until practise match starts, peg her tank in the engine compartment. Claim misfire.
>>24817739taking your ball (or tank in this case) and going home is much more of a bitchy move than cleverly getting back at her. Paint her tank, wreck her in practice, doesn't matter. She wants us to flip outOr sic grandpa on her
>>24817770Because the Lee was the most unpleasant thing in WoT I ever had the displeasure to experience for 161 matches. If It's more pleasant than the Lee, I'll keep going. Otherwise I'll just stay with my hellcat and free XP my way up the four other lines I'm going up.
>>24817758I'm sure shopping the crew and tank to others schools well within in our rights. One of them will love to have us without half the bs we're taking right now and send send off a ship to pick us up. If not... >>24817778 I can wait.
>>24817778Okay, and you're willing to accept the consequences of our original, American school suspending us or otherwise putting it on our record?
>>24817784Does Grandpa even know what has happened to his tank yet?
>>24817758Well, is refusing to participate in the matches and training and everything, until we can contact somebody and get off this boat, an option for that?>>24817649This is also acceptable for getting proof. If she tries to blow us off, I advise telling her that she's underestimating how much we care about this.If she blows us off THEN, well, yeah, start seeing if you can find a way to leave.
>>24817800Knowing our luck he's the couch and doesn't give a fuck. Which will be all the more bullshit.
>>24817739You're assuming that because you want a reason to hate her. I know you have compensation issues but there's healthier ways to go about it than finding strawgirls to horribly hate.>>24817800He'd be distracted by Yuzu or the volleyball team.
>>24817814>Not knee deep in jap pussy
>>24817800He hasn't. I can tell because we're not dead.
>>24817712Say exactly this.>>24817780No, it's a bluff. But this particular specimen of The Lesser Twintailed Cunt (Cuntus Twintailus Minimus) doesn't know that.
>>24817718No, but Tier 7 is Tier 4 all over again anyway.
>>24817803We start finding a way to leave, and another school now. Then, that way, if she blows us off or acts like it's a joke, it's on her ass when she tries to call a bluff.
>>24817822My T29 was olev.My T20 was terrible.T25 has been generally positive.
>>24817821Ah, no, bluffing when you don't need to is bad. Either she bites on us leaving, or she doesn't. No need to complicate it further with a lie.
>>24817829I'm pretty sure we were a special case (Oorai's desperate, and will recruit boys). None of the other schools are desperate for new tankers. Sure, they'd take Black Jack, but not if we had to come with it. She'd call that bluff instantaneously.
>>24817795The Lee was where I got my 10 kills in one game from. Then again, I got it only because I was the top tank then. I guess your mileage may vary.
>>24817819Shouldn't we call him up and tell him, then?
>>24817848admittedly, that's might be OOC knowledge
>>24817848This is true. But doesn't mean we shouldn't try shopping around and see who bites. I also agree with not using any of the other schools names in this. The bluff is us leaving. Where? She doesn't need to know.
>>24817615>Stay cool. You'll have your revenge.REMOVE ANZU.(ram-kill that motherfucker in the practice match. it is the only way to deal with pubscum)
>>24817615>>She wants the rage. Give it to her. They need us, we don't need them. They can go fuck themselves.
>>24817865>not recognizing intentionally awful pseudo-Latin when you see it
>>24817829We'd really only fit in with Saunders. It'd be weird to see a Pershing on a Russian, Italian, or German-themed tank team.
>>24817821>Minimus>"Smallest" (Sup) =/= "Lesser" (Comp)>Cuntus Twintailus Minimus>Lupa Bicrina Minor (Lit. Lesser Twin-Haired Whore)>FTFY
>>24817615>>She wants the rage. Give it to her.
>>24817850Matchmaking was not kind to me.I never really 'clicked' until I got into the latter half of the US heavy line and the early turreted TDs, before they became two lines.
>>24817868What's the plan if she calls the bluff? Our old school is going to be pissed if we try to go back.
>>24817895you mean the nigh certainty? She may be ditzy but she's not stupid. That and threatening to leave is not a clever come back but rather a childish tantrum suggested by childish readers. It's like a kid throwing down his toy and storming out.
>>24817895....shit, good point. Maybe we should just refuse to participate until the tank is repainted.
>>24817909How many threads have we been trying to resolve this?
>>24817909>childishNo. Backing out of a contract which the other party has repeatedly failed to hold up their end of is pretty standard business practice.
>>24817915Feels like all of them.
>>24817909Jeese, man, watch the insults, you're not exactly doing your viewpoint much credit.>>24817915This is pretty well the reason for... Well. Do we really have any other plan? Or is our best other than this 'act passive aggressive while she continues having the bottleneck for paint'?...Actually, is she the only one who can get olive drab paint, or can we swing something?
>>24817925And what do you propose we do when Oorai refuses to repaint the tank, and suspends us? Not like our old school won't suspend us either and kick us off of the team anyway.
>>24817932in theory many stores on the carrier should have some amount of paint>>24817914I like this as a good compromise choice
>>24817932For fuck's sake, let's break out the sandblasters if he have to. Somehow, we're going to resolve this. Let's make it happen this thread regardless of Anzu's cunt level.
>>24817615>>Stay cool. You'll have your revenge.STAY FROSTY, MARINES
>>24817925You're only assuming this because you want to hate her. There's no proof that she has broken it, rather you're just jumping to conclusions because it's not going your way.>>24817932I presume the other two choices has the MC blowing up right then and there or waiting until the practice match to nail her tank.>>24817947Not if the school hasn't been tanking for a good 10+ years, Stuff like the Patton helmet is different than tank paint.
>>24817951>Let's make it happen this thread regardless of Anzu's cunt level.This. I'd prefer to avoid the "take my ball and go home" option
>>24817914Sounds like a pretty reasonable course of action
>>24817971Yeah, that's not a fun option, IMO.
>>24817914Hmm. This guy >>24817947 has a point, it is a pretty good compromise between threatening something extreme we may not be able to go through with, and not just letting her do whatever she wants.>>24817951Yeah. This has gone on long enough.I was one of the guys that would be totally cool with gunmetal. Or 'Victory Chrome'. Or whatever. I'm just tired of this crap. This shouldn't have been a thing in the first place with Anzu doing stuff to our tank without our permission.
If Anzu wants to play chicken, you'll play it like a man- with more balls than brains. "Roy, start unloading the ready-racks. We're packing it in." You turn to face your crew. "Rose, can you put the turret in storage position, please?" Roy shrugs and drops down through the gunner's hatch while Rose fires up the auxillery engine to power up the turret.Anzu looks surprised. "What are you doing?" She says worriedly."I'm getting Black Jack ready for transport." You say calmly. "You're seem unable or unwilling to acquire what we need to do our job, in this case something as simple as Olive Drab #7 paint." You then put on a cheerful tone. "But that's ok, because I know that I can find all the paint I need back in the states."She stares at you. "Y-you can't!"You raise your hand and your crew stops immediately. "Oh? And why is that, Anzu?""We need you, okay?" She says, the hint of tears forming in her eyes. "I'm sorry about the paint. I am!" She finally is starting to sound sincere. "We'll fix it! I promise!""You said the paint gets here Monday?"She nods."Tuesday morning. If I open this hanger door and see a single speck of blue on my tank, then Black Jack will be off this boat by Wednesday." You tower over her, glaring down at her. "Do not screw with me, Anzu. You need me a hell of a lot more than I need you." You turn around and head back towards your crew. "Remember that."As you get back to your tank, you turn around and watch her walk off. She'd definately lost a bit of the spring in her step."Commander, you really going to pull us out of here?" Richard says down, worry in his voice. He'd be the only one with anything to lose.>Lie: "Absolutely.">Truth: "If she screws with us again.">Silence speaks.
>>24817925You got any evidence that what Anzu said isn't true?If you back out of the contract without actually being sure that the other party broke their end of it, you're liable.
>>24817914Sure, I'm good with this.Going home is extreme, but she's been provoking us for some time now.
>>24817999>>Truth: "If she screws with us again."
>>24817999>Silence speaks.>>24818001Breech of contract through incompetence is still breech of contract.
Let's try and make up at some point. Leadership is both carrot and stick, and we just used the stick.
>>24817999>Truth: "If she screws with us again."Then say nothing else
>>24817999>Truth: "If she screws with us again."
>>24817999>Truth: "If she screws with us again."I'd prefer not to have to deal with it, but...
>>24817999>>Silence speaks.Let him make of that what he will.
>>24817999Hmm. Debating between 'Silence Speaks' and 'Truth: "If she screws with us again."Really, some things just aren't putting up with. This is our grandfather's tank....I suppose we ought to consult with our crew before making that kind of decision though. Responsible thing to do.
>>24818034Oh we can move past this, after she stops thinking she can dick us around for giggles.
>>24817909No, it's just common sense. If someone reneges on an agreement, you won't hd up on your end eitherStart looking for other teams willing to take us on. Effectively give our notice, and if the tank's not done by Wednesday we leave. And yeah, we should demand receipt statements. If they are, as we suspect, wasting money on gold paint, the student body should know. Again, if our tank isn't painted by Wednesday, go to a team that's far less likely to have its funds onsbozzled
>Truth: "If she screws with us again."
>>24818042>This is our grandfather's tank. This is also something that needs explaining to Anzu if we haven't done so already. To them, tanks may be club vehicles, but our attachment to Black Jack goes well beyond that. We play nice if they play nice
>>24818022no luck getting said paint is not incompetence but rather something out of control.>>24818044I think she won't do that again, though I'm certain the he-men in this thread would just love another excuse to hate her.
>>24817999>Truth: "If she screws with us again."Churchill I is a weird beast, not used to letting my hull just hang out there and take hits.22 hits taken, 4 detects, 3 damages, 2 kills, sniper and steel wall.
>>24817965So we are assuming that she failed to abide by our agreement not because she did in fact fail to do so, as is the case here, but rather that we hate her? Gotcha!
>>24817999>SilenceSometimes, a bit of acting can go a long way.
>>24817999>Truth: "Three strikes rule, Rich."
I don't really hate Anzu even after the shit she's done. But then again, our MC probably does. I'd explain to her the significance of our tank to us. It's something personal. This is a team battle, and holding resentment against any of our teammates would just bite us back in the long run.
>>24818047Does Senshado even allow for "free agent" tanks? Ooarai was pretty much the only school that had a cobbled together collection of tanks--all the other schools kept within country lines.
>>24818055I second this super hard. As a matter of fact, now would be a great time to explain it to her. This isn't us fighting to be the top dog, it's us being sentimental about our tank.
>>24818095If Oorai could do it, I imagine it'd be legal for the other schools as well. I think their tanks are thematic choices they're all japanese after all...even elegant Darjeeling
>>24818062You're assuming things to justify your own stance when there is no proof.>>24818083I'm annoyed but not to the absurd levels of hate seen by some of the posters here. I don't think not even the MC hates her that much. But yeah I agree that there should be some explaining in detail so Anzu understands what the issue is. Not sure if we'd have gotten that across sooner if there wasn't RAAAAEEEGGG!!!!I suspect the real kicker is that Grandpa wouldn't care in the face of all the ripe Japanese babes on the boat.
>>24817999[x] Truth: "If she screws with us again."
>>24818118>absurd levels of hateI think you're mistaking posters' clumsy attempts to write a good, NCO-style heel-locking, for genuine hate.
>>24818059So, she acquired how many colors of paint besides the one required to abide by our agreement? That is not bad luck, that is at best incompetence at worst malice.
>>24818117And Kay.Somehow.Maybe her papa's a G.I.
>>24818149So you blame her for the supply company messing up the order on their end. That's bad luck, not incompetence.
>Silence Speaks>>24818117Everyone's Favorite Tea Time Friend Darjeeling?Surely not?
>>24817286I was about to complain of how bloody long do you think I waited for you to continue, but then I realised that it was Girls und Mechs, not Panzer that I'm waiting for.Sigh.
>>24818161And yet, also supplied was hot pink for the Lee, Red, yellow and white for the StuG, and bright white for the I-Go.Right, sure.
>>24818161It's not impossible, but Olive Drab and Gold are very very difficult to mix up. I honestly think she didn't realize how dead serious we were.
>>24818171Is the idea of getting jumbled orders that hard of an idea to wrap around your head? It's not that uncommon, seriously.
>>24818161So you just buy the story she feeds you only AFTER you confronted her about it.I take it you don't work with teenagers much.If they only offer an excuse after being asked for one, it's probably bullshit.
>>24818167Sad, but true. Even glorious examples of MURRIKAN and Soviet womanhood such as Kay and Nonna are Japanese. They're all just thematic westaboos
>>24818167Yep. She's Japanese.
>>24818171If the orders are placed at the same time, then yes. I place an order for hot pink, red, yellow, white, bright white and olive drab. The shipping company instead gives me hot pink, red, yellow, white, bright white, and gold.Is it really that difficult for you to understand this concept?
>>24818184If it were olive drab and olive getting mixed up I'd buy it, but 金色 and オリーブドラブ are pretty damned hard to get mixed up.
>>24818149shit happens. That and all the paint colors are things not traditionally used to for tanks. It might be possible that the company assumed it was another bright flashy color. Screw ups happen in business and I speak from experience.>>24818185Stereotypes ho!
>>24818118It's not really hate, it's just that she's acting childish and blatantly messing with us, and I'm not sure we got the point across that we're serious about this until now.

>>24818196>>24818171Regardless of how it happened, and the "Truthyness" of her statement she now knows that we won't be jerked around. If our trust in her is rewarded, then we should repay it in kind.
>>24818196>Shipping companyNo, the paint company fucked up.i.e the Guys who do this shit for a living. Anzu's under the pump here for going to such a sketchy company.>Screw ups happen in business and I speak from experience.Screw-ups happen in Business, and they rapidly go out of business when they screw up. I also speak from experience, since I have to carve up their withered, mismanaged corpses to try and pay off creditors every week.
>>24818095>>24818117Actually, there is plenty of strategic usefulness for having lots of the same tank, instead of many different types of tanks.Let's look at Saunders. All of the tanks they field are some variation of the M4 Sherman Medium Tank. That means all of their tanks have similar performance envelopes- mobility, firepower, protection. This gives you several advantages- the first is that for a formation to remain coherant, it can only go as fast as it's slowest part. The Russians actually ran into this when they tried to use KVs and T-34s together- either the T-34's were forced to move slower to stay with the KVs, making them an easier target and reducing their ability to maneuver against the enemy, or the formation and it's mutual support is broken up as the T-34s rush forward leaving the better armed and armored KVs behind. This also has the potential effect of giving your opponents two easily defeated forces instead of one overwhelming force. The other big advantage to a homogenous force is largely command related- It's much easier to command many similar units. You're able to more easily estimate how much of your force you can allocate to certain areas, your relative strength against the enemy, and even how fast you can move units around the battlefield.Of course, there's also a third advantage and that is logistics- having many of the same or similar types of vehicals means that it's much easier to get parts, train support staff and new crews, not to mention it's usually cheaper to buy parts in bulk.
>>24818242>Of course, there's also a third advantage and that is logistics- having many of the same or similar types of vehicals means that it's much easier to get parts, train support staff and new crews, not to mention it's usually cheaper to buy parts in bulk. That's known over in /m/ as the GM principle and how the Federation won the OYW. Sure Gelgoogs were the stronger suits but the GMs had the advantage of numbers and ease of training pilots for them.
>>24818206>It might be possible that the company assumed it was another bright flashy color.Where I work, the guy who pulled that off and then went and lost money by telling them to 'keep the Gold paint' would have is ass fired for incompetence by the end of the day.Gold paint, in the quantity needed to paint a whole tank, is fucking expensive.
>>24818234That only applies to the jury. The mob doesn't care whether the glove fists or not.>>24818242And when Jagdpanther chan runs out of tracks she can just ask another tank for some extra bits rather than sitting there glumly.
>>24818242As interesting as all that is, I would much rather have a story post.
>>24818242It actually makes me wonder- did the schools choose tanks that supported national themes, or did they choose national themes that supported their tank choices?
>>24818296You'd hope it's the former with the Italian team. Also story posts plz.
>>24818206The problem is a lot of us don't think she's been acting in good faith.I mean shit, if it's not ready by then and it does turn out it is the company's fault, she can always call them and put us on the phone so we can hear right from them that the olive drab is in the mail.
>>24818288I'm working on it, just seemed too good a discussion point to let go. :P
>>24818296probably a bit of both. I'd take a wild guess and say they might've acquired 2-3 of the same nation/make as part of a package deal...then they just rolled with it
>>24818234It also includes the phrase "Beyond reasonable doubt".It is not reasonable to assume that the paint company would read "Olive drab" as "Gold", due to being a matte and metallic paint as well as being as extremely far apart on the RGB and CMYK scales.Honestly, Anzu needs to learn to lie better. Even a single can of Olive drab would show that she made an effort and even if she did write 1 instead of 7, she could say the shipping company misinterpreted the order.
>>24818285And you willingly associate yourself with a rioting mob? That speaks highly of your character.>>24818296While you're reading this, having Black Jack painted is the biggest mistake you've made so far.>>24818303you mean you and a few buddies vote spamming?>>24818321that makes me wonder what came first: the theme, the school names, or the tanks.
>>24818329Technically, this would be a civil case and not a criminal one, so beyond a reasonable doubt would not apply.instead the standard would be a preponderance of evidence.
>>24818234That's for criminal law. Civil cases are decided on the balance of probability, not reasonable doubt
>>24818329What are inventory codes?
>>24818333>someone disagrees with me>MUST BE A SAMEFAGStay classy, asshole. Lemme guess, you were the same one bitching about "/k/ ruinin' muh quest" earlier because we DARED to run with MC being mad about it.
I've been going back over the first and second threads.Yes, we've got a real bond with Black Jack. But is it licensed in our name? Or is it still legally our parents'?Also, if we do leave Oorai, that means that we have to refund the money they paid for us and our tank. Where is that money now? What legal proceedings will ensue because of it?Agreements between us and Anzu are one thing, but there's a fucking legal shitstorm between the JGSDF, US Army, Oorai High School, our old high school, our town, and the US government if we leave. Not to mention what our grandfather and parents will say.
>>24818354It is under "Metallic paints are given a completely different category to matte".
>>24818333You don't have to be rioting to be a mob.
/tg/: civil law and paint shipments
>>24818354A company that gets it's owen inventory codes of it's own products so abysmally fucked up is empolying Retards and children.(and what sort of cockfaced, illogical system are they using that puts two utterly, completely different paints like Olive Drab and GOLD in a position that they can be confused?)
Come on gents. Let's keep this civil or the volleyball team is going to be using WP during practice.
>>24818350>>24818344Which is why I said to ask for the receipts. Since there's a distinct lack of "Other" choices in the quest though, that got ignored. And besides, following an anon's premise and then pointing out it is still flawed is more fun.
>>24818432well people were too busy raging at Anzu to consider anything else.
>>24818379You're right. While we should explain to Anzu why this matters so much to us, and possibly apologise for upsetting her, in case of further disputes we should research the sport's bylaws and the details of our contract. That way we'll know what we can get away with in a work to rule action, where we be as annoying as possible without breaking any legal obligations.
>>24818379Actually, repainting the tank would qualify as willful damage of property, making oorai the ones responsible for the breach of contract, and thereby responsible for all damages including what they've already paid us.
>>24818444>people were too busy raging at Anzu to consider anythingSo, CAN we really leave?I mean, from the legal standpoint of us having signed on and already been paid, what are the penalty clauses if we leave?Sure, we COULD just demand a transport off of the Oorai carrier, but who's going to pay for it? Oorai, the JGSDF, the US Army, our old high school, or ourselves?Sure, we might be able to bluff that we're going to leave, but are we actually prepared to accept the consequences, which could potentially include seizure of Black Jack by either the JGSDF or, since we'd no longer be affiliated with a legal entity allowed to own a tank, would it be seized by the US Army?We already transferred out of our old school, so they're unlikely to help us, especially if they now have to pay a penalty to Oorai on top of shipping costs for Black Jack back to the US; they were losing thousands of dollars on Black Jack, and the tank didn't even belong to them.
>>24818607This.might want to have a word with Chono about all this, see if that lights a fire under their arses
>>24818444Here's why we SHOULD be raging at Anzu:She's showing SEVERE disrespect towards us. In fact, she seems to think that we're under her thumb, that she owns us. She has painted our tank twice, despite that being a major one of our peeves. She constantly tries to work it off as minor inconveniences, but this is a level of passive aggressive bullshit we shouldn't have to deal with.In the long run, it's just a fucking paint job, no one cares. What does matter is she's intentionally poking a bear, and telling us to jump through some hoops.
>>24818619We've made our point. I think we should keep that up our sleeve. An ace in the hole when Anzu hits critical Bitchiness Threshold.
>>24818616>no longer be affiliated with a legal entity allowed to own a tankIn the "Little Army" spinoff manga (Miho several years earlier) the Nishizumis have personal ownership of quite a few tanks, so it would seem private ownership of tanks is "a thing" as it were.
Will you people ever shut up about the paint? it's hard to enjoy the thread to see you sperg out about it every update it's passingly mentioned.I'm hoping to god you do shut up about it after it gets repainted.
>>24818607Are we seriously gonna jeopardize a school already in financial trouble by suing them over a tank paint job?
>>24818648No, Anzu is going to jeopordize a school in financial trouble if she continues her childish refusal to correct her mistake.
>>24818648To be fair, only the Student Council knows the school is going under. MC dude doesn't, and everyone else too.Can we let this fucking paintjob thing rest now? Please?
>>24818648>Are we seriously gonna jeopardize a school already in financial trouble by suing them over a tank paint job?MC is American, frivolous and malicious lawsuits are like a reflex action.
MC probably left after all this autistry
"Richard, I'm not gonna let her jerk us around." You say, finally letting your temper seep out a bit. "We're here because they want us to be here, and I expect to be treated with the respect that earns us." You lean against your tank, watching Anzu inspect the Freshman's Lee. "And we sure as hell ain't letting her dictate what color our tank is."Richard glances over at the Panzer IV and, you assume, his girlfriend Saori. "Just seems like we've got a good thing here. Maybe better than you think."You blink at him. "Richard, I'm not going to let Black Jack be disrespected just so you can get yourself some Japanese girl to-" The rest of your statement is drowned out though, as a very large transport plane flies over the school parking lot. You wince and cover your ears as Black Jack is suddenly in it's shadow as three immense parachutes deploy from it's cargo doors. As the Plane flies over the parking lot, the chutes drag out a very modern tank- like a slightly smaller Abrahms. The pallet skips and slides across the asphalt, flipping over a red sports car before coming to rest. As the plane climbs back into the sky, the tank rumbles to life, back over the flipped sports car before rumbling up to stop in front of Oorai's tanks. The hatch moves up and out of the way before a helmeted head pops up. The woman beneath it unbuckles and removes it before shaking her hair loose."Good morning, everyone!" Chouno says Cheerfully.>Okay, that was a pretty awesome entrance.>Dammit, this lady again?!>I could've done that so much better...
>>24818699>>Okay, that was a pretty awesome entrance.Awesome where awesome is due.

>>24818699>Okay, that was a pretty awesome entrance.Senseless property damage aside, that was a sweet move.
>>24818699>Dammit, this lady again?!I'm pretty sure Chono's tank is a Type-10, meaning it's more like a Leopard 2 than an Abrahms
>Okay, that was a pretty awesome entrance. Finally we can get on with it.

>>24818699>I could have done that so much betterFuck yeah we coulda done that better! Get the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds to do aerial tricks, a B2 to do a flyover, and have our tank escorted down to the ground by a platoon of Airborne soldiers, all while blasting "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue"!Also, fireworks. Why? Because BITCHES LOVE FIREWORKS!
>>24818773That's only 15 tons though. I haven't seen or heard of a LAPES-able MBT.
>>24818818That's part of the reason it's so shit.It literally gets air when it fires its main gun.
>>24818772Can't be any more against the rules than using a blimp to listen in on the other team's radio chatter.
>>24818773Not funny, man. Not funny.
>>24818855Yes. Yes it can.
So...What's everybody's favorite tank?
>>24818855While that is true, you can't exactly be subtle about air-dropping a Tank. They tried the blimp because they thought they wouldn't be caught.
>>24818870I have a thing for the Merkava's side profile.
>>24818855Technically, that wasn't even against the rules. It just wasn't in them.

>>24819086>only 80% the length of the atnk.>ONLY 80%How does it not fall over when it aims to the side?
>>24819105They added a counterweight to the back of the turret.
You make a dismissive sounds to your crew. Richard and Patrick stare at you. "Ok, fine. It was pretty awesome."Chouno seems to have noticed you by the time she's demounted the tank. "Commander. Good to see you're fitting in and showing off some school spirit!" She says with the kind of cheer reserved for the plight of other people. You grumble under your breath. "Thanks."Chouno takes her place at the front of the crowd as Anzu introduces her. "This is Captain Ami Chouno from the Special Training Association!""Hello, everyone! Many of you have never even been in a panzer before!""Tank." You say, mostly under your breath."...We're going to do our best though!" She continues before her eyes fall on Miho. "Oh! Aren't you Maho Nishizumi's little sister?" She says, rushing up to shake her hand. "Maho has been a great help to our organization, how is she?"Miho blanches a bit. "U-um. She's... fine..." She says, falling all over her words as the rest of the class, most of whom were ignorant of this fact, start talking among themselves. "Her sister is quite famous! She even has her own school! It's quite famous among schools who participate in Senshado!" Miho attempts to shrink into her uniform like a turtle. One of the Freshman girls raises her hand. "Instructor! Are you famous?"Chouno thinks for a moment. "Rather than popularity, I'd rather say that I got what I wanted! I'm in the top percent of gunners in the world!"Yukari waves her hand. "Instructor! What are we going to learn today?" She says with her usual enthusiasm."We're going to hold a practice battle today!" Chouno says with glee. The crew erupt in conversation.>"Wait... What do you mean by practice battle?">"So what are the teams going to be?"
>>24819101Gun is sorta good. Good damage for it's tier, good pen values, but average ROF and accuracy. IT CAN'T TURN TO SAVE IT'S HIDE. Never let lights or even mediums get close to you, or you're 90% dead already. Don't let me get started with arties; your open top is an invitation.
>>24819105The turret barrel weighs only like a ton, the rest of the chassis is like 40.
>>24819120>"... Aren't we going to at least teach them how to drive the tank to begin with?"

>"Wait... What do you mean by practice battle?"Time to out her on her laziness
>>24819122it had great gun depression didn't it?
>>24819120>"So what are the teams going to be?"It is time, our vengeance is at hand!

>>24819120>"Wait... What do you mean by practice battle?""Shouldn't we at least run through basic familiarization so nobody does something stupid and injures themselves or others?"
>>24819128This. Tanks aren't toys.
>>24819129To be honest, no. Once anything gets a bead on you, you won't be able to take much punishment. You can't out-ROF anyone, either. Plus, the KV-1S always prowl your battlefields. The shells are sort of expensive, too. That's just my personal experience with it though.
>"So what are the teams going to be?"
>>24819101Not a great credit earner as the rounds are expensive as hell. As for playability it can be a bit hit and miss... (it's not very fast, lightly armoured and doesn't hide as well as smaller TDs), but if you get into the right spot you have a field day. Gun is brilliant but temperamental and of course it's gun depression is hilarious.
>>24819173>>24819164Thanks, how about the AT15 A?
>>24819120>>24819128Kinda of a good point here.Back to my Indien-Panzer.
>>24819181>Indien-Panzer.Is it as bad in-game as it seems that it would be?
>>24819178Like most high tier brit TD's, armor up the ass. It's not as slow as its american counterparts too, and it's ROF is amazing. You have really obvious weakspots up front that you can't really hide away, though. \
>>24819105The barrel is usually counterweighted by teh breech assembly, and some guns have a counterweight attached to teh breech end if the barrel is too long or heavy.
>>24819196>Britbong TDNOT EVEN ONCE. GET AN AUTOCLAPPER.
Anyone know a good premium credit earner that isn't the super pershing?
>>24819207I toyed with the idea of getting one, but then again I'm still working on getting a Panther II, an M109 and that tier 9 chinaman medium. Plus, I need more jewgold for that T110E3 and an E100. Fuck me, that's a lot of grinding to do.
>>24819216SU-122-44 if you like laughing at nearly everything your tier. Shells are expensive though. Type 59's not on sale either. Try the jagdtiger 88.

>>24819146I take from your expression that the Gold Tank won't be gold for much longer
>>24819221This is why I'll never go past T6; way too much grind. I'll stick with my Hellcat and Churchill VII, thank you very much.
>>24819233What about the M10/panther
>>24818870Panzer IV. Always.
>>24819233T34, bitches.Go hull down and LAUGH AT EVERYONE.
>>24819190Eh. Not really. Personally I have no issues with it. But I play a lot of meds, German ones at that. So I tend to play the support role a lot. Thing is zippy though. Still trying to decide if I want to keep using the this 9cm gun or just go back the L/71 because of cheaper ammo. Oh, after thought, the turret is fucking funny as hell. Thing will bounce damn anything if you place it right.
>>24819256Kinda bad. Gun has below average penetration for its tier. Armor won't save you either. You're just about as fast as the vanilla Panther, which isn't that fast at all when you think about it. You're a bit more maneuverable though. Dunno how much it earns credit wise.
>>24819269I already have a Type 59 and an SU-122-44. I don't think I need another premium. Or maybe I do. But it won't be a T34.
Alright, I'm gonna have to go with the SU-122-44.My first russian tank.
>>24819269WHITE WHALEI'm cursed to forever have a US heavy moved somewhere else whenever I'm on the tank just before it.
>>24819305Holy fuck this thing is amazing.I'm not even doing good, and I'm making money hand over fist.I just roll up and BOOM, a massive chunk of HP just disappears.

You glance evilly over at the Council's precious gold 38(t). "So... What are the teams going to be?" You ask earnestly."Teams?" Chouno says, looking at you. "Goodness, no! Last tank standing wins!" She says, opening a folder. "Here is a map of the 'arena'. Please make sure you don't leave it. Each map will also have your Panzer's starting zone." "Tank." You say as you look down and recognize the map- it's the hilly forested area that makes up most of the Oorai carrier's aft third. One of the freshman girls speaks up. "A-aren't we going to get any training first?"Chouno smiles like you would to a child. "It's simple! Just pull the trigger and put the pedal down!" You look at her like she's crazy. You aren't alone- even Anzu looks confused and a bit disappointed. "I'd also like everyone to assign their crew positions! Well, except for the Pershing- I believe theirs is already established."You look back at them. "Why can't I be driver?" Patrick says."What happened last time you drove the tank?" Richard askes.Patrick mumbles something."What was that?" You inquire."I backed through a house." He says, looking at the ground."That's right. So now you're on the radio and you're very good at that." Rose says, patting him on the shoulder with mock understanding. The teams are sorted out within the next ten minutes or so. As the crews begin mounting their tanks, Chouno climbs back atop her own. "Alright everyone! Aim straight, drive fast, and, most importantly, have fun!"Then the Grant and I-Go simultaneously back through the rear wall of the hanger.

>>24819518I hope you actually post something on time or else you should say "5:30pm or 6:30pm" instead. IT'd be more truthful.>>24819533Even then it wouldn't last long.
>>24819516considering past threads? OP only reads and responds to posts that contain one of the very limited selection of optionsso unless OP suddenly decides otherwise, no
>>24819516Well, honestly I was just gonna have us get mad at the President and ultimately cave in, but enough people put in references to leaving that it became the dominant choice. So yeah, if enough people (Read: Not samefags, and I can get a pretty good read on those) vote for something that isn't presented, I'll generally do it unless it's shoe-on-head retarded red button pushing.
>>24819547>unless it's shoe-on-head retarded red button pushing.firing a pistol into the ceiling has been a favorable alternative to /tg/'s decision making in the past, so good luck with that
>>24819547>it's shoe-on-head retarded red button pushing.you mean most posts on /tg/?
>>24819560Yeah, pretty much.
>>24819547So for example if next session I were to suggest we teach the girls how to actually operate a tank so we can have something approaching a fair fight, would it be possible at all?
>>24819560And you guys wonder why I use the write-ins very often?
>>24819586Given that we're rolling out right now? Probably not. But, perhaps to play passively and allow the noobs to fight those of their own caliber instead of picking them off one by one from a hulldown position far outside their effective range... >>24819592>don't use write-ins very oftenShit, I need sleep but the caffiene's still going...
>>24819615Have you tried masturbation?
>>24819615I'm of the opinion that during the battle we should do nothing to anyone but the prez's tank, and when we find it, ram it off a cliff
>>24819615You should try a more steady method of caffination, like a can of cola every 2-3 hours.>>24819635That'd be excessive. It'd be better if we stalked it and nailed it when they think it's safe.
>>24819615I'm up for keeping our front towards them and giving tips on the radio, sort of a last man standing "come at me bro" situation.we badly outclass them badly, except MAYBE the panzer IV?we shouldn't mercilessly hound the Prez, we have her cornered already, maybe fire a few missed shots on purpose to put the pressure on them.we're expected to learn to function as a team, eventually...
>>24819615What no. I meant telling them what levers do what so we can stop wrecking the buildings. Tactical stupidity I'm entirely happy with punishing.
>>24819667>we shouldn't mercilessly hound the PrezNo, we should just shoot her tank and be done with it.
>>24819663>That'd be excessive. It'd be better if we stalked it and nailed it when they think it's safe.and then ram it off a cliff
Offensively they won't be much of a threat (Momo's an infamously bad shot)
>>24819615Naah, we just hit the prez's tank from range, and ring them like a gong every few minutes just to annoy her after we take her out.The rest of them can play as long as they want.
>>24819488>The I-Go gets the drop on us.>The I-Go>Getting the drop on anythingWhat are they going to do, hurl insults at us until we give up and go home?
>>24819712Don't underestimate the power of guts and rather nice figure in snug outfits.
>>24819712Their gun literally cannot penetrate us at any angle.Unless they're planning to Luchs-Roundhouse us, 'getting the drop' won't do a lot.
>>24819718You're right, Patrick and Richard will be useless in the fight against them, fortunately Rose won't have that issue.
>>24819488>We drive over a bridge.>The I-Go gets the drop on us.>And vengeance is ours!you should stop typing that at the end of each thread if you're only going to follow the anime, to the letter, might make it appear as if you are not railroading us into every action
>>24819712>inb4 they track usIs it even possible for it to do that?
>>24819712. . literally drop on us?
>>24819712In the most literal sense.
>>24819733again it's early on, where the impact is sight. It's like the ripples from a thrown rock, they get stronger as they travel.
>>24819712While we're effectively invincible from their gun, it's entirely likely that the girls will try their patented ramming technique to wreck our gun or tread, or shoot the engine compartment.
>>24819737>we push them off a cliff>somehow they land on top of usi'm not advocating pushing them off a cliff, for different reasons of course.
>>24818870My favorite actually is the Super Pershing. I just think it looks cool.
