Running my own Star Wars Quest. Set 1500 years from the Original Trilogy. Does not follow the Extended Universe books (though I have read a few may use some as inspiration). You are Human. Options for playing other characters will come up in future.2d1 Roll for Gender. 1. Male2. Female
Rolled 2>>24511953First roll or what?
Rolled 2>>24511953I'm hoping we get to play some kind of gunslinging force adept. Knocking blaster bolts out of the air with other blaster shots using force-enabled gun kata is just the coolest.
Binary gender options? CHECK YOUR PRIVILEGE, Sith Scum.
>>24511997Male. >>24512005For character creation - first role unless I say otherwise. _1d10 for age1 = 11 years old2 = 12 3 = 13etc.
Rolled 1, 1 = 2>>24511953
>>24512021>implying sith aren't all about freedom>implying jedi aren't all about oppressionCheck your privilege, jedi scum!
>>24512022>For character creation - first role unless I say otherwise. That's pretty lame, honestly. Oh well.
>>24512032>17At least we're not a jedi shota.
Roll 1d5 for CHARISMA
>>24512235Apparently we're a complete asshole.
>>24512235I am okay with this.
>>24512262Or completely autistic, and constantly having spaghetti coming out of our pockets.
>>24512235Dice Gods will it. -Roll 1d5 for INTELLIGENCE
Rolled 2>>24512262>>24512279Or both! We have all of the bergers and compensate by being a dick!>>24512295
>>24512301Damn it, I was hoping for a 1.
1d5 for Wisdom
>>24512311You want to be an autistic retard? The kind of dumb mook that gets blasted by someone getting fed up with our stupid shit?
>>24512346So yeah, we're definitely autistic. 1 Cha and 1 Wis.
Rolled 2>>24512346So, Cha 1, Int 3, Wis 1. Good times coming.
>>24512362And we don't even have a 5 in Int to make up for it.
1d5 for Body

>>24512377At least we're strong.
1d5 for Willpower
Rolled 5>>24512377Okay, so we have no common sense and the charisma of a rock, but are tough and reasonably smart. As long as we're never in a leadership position and don't talk too much, we should be good.
>>24512387We're the big, dumb, drunk idiot that always gets into fights at bars, and is going to end up getting a faceful of blaster.I can't wait for this guy to get smoked.
>>24512406Decent willpower, seems we're kind of a brute.
1d5 for Initiative
Rolled 5>>24512420We only have good willpower because we're stubborn as a mule.>>24512424
>>24512428>>24512429Oh, NOW we get good rolls. So I guess that means we're quick?
>>24512436Yep, like you draw your gun first.
Charisma : 1/5 Intelligence : 3/5 Wisdom: 1/5 Body: 4/5 Willpower: 4/5 Initiative: 5/5>Roleplay Guideline: Attempt to roleplay this character within the boundries of the roles that have been given. A one in charisma means you are plain, but not ugly. A five in willpower means you have a lot of willpower, but not an unlimited supply of the stuff. As the story progresses we may move away from the boundaries as we find out who our Protagonist is.
>>24512444We shoot first, we are tough and we are stubborn as all fuck. Also we're a dick and have little to no common sense.
Rolled 6>>24512444So we're pretty much an assassin droid - No WIS or CHA, but were tough and a natural killer.
>>24512509So, we're stubborn, strong, quick, of average intelligence, and have the common sense and charisma of a rock. We're shit as a leader, most of our long-term plans go to shit, but when we set ourself on a task, we complete it doggedly and without hesitation. Is that accurate, guys?
>>24512514>>24512515Yeah, seems like we're pretty much a natural-born killer/secret agent. The unremarkable CHA makes us even better for that sort of work.
>>24512534We're basically the perfect follower.
>>24512541>secret agentWe don't have the Charisma for lies or the Wisdom for common sense. Wetwork, maybe, but we would be a terrible intelligence agent. We're a killer. Or possibly a bounty hunter. We're something require stubborn violence and a lack of hesitation.
>>24512552The muscle for a crime boss, an enforcer, or some other line of work that only requires a dumb thug.
>>24512546This.We are the bad guy's right hand.
>>24512546Great for an NPC, but I wonder if this works for a PC. Players will be too tempted to act out of character.
>>24512584We're reasonably smart. What we lack is common sense and charm. We would make a great muscle, second in command, thug, or mercenary. There are just as many positions for that in legal lines of work. But yes, those would all work. We're neither a leader nor a person who makes good plans. We're otherwise a quite competent individual.
>>24512584We're not 'dumb' per se. We're just not good at long-ish term planning.tl;dr: this is us.
>>24512637That's accurate. But with the body of a burly Russian warrior.
>>24512637That is PERFECT although I think he had a fair bit more charisma than us.
Bear with me. Getting all the names for stuff write is a chore.
Our story begins in a galaxy far, far away. On the planet Tatooine. You are a slave by the name of Rhalin Rhycee(Pronounced - Rice). You have a half-brother by the name of Tarlin Rhycee who is a year older than you, he is a cripple and suffers from a disease which makes his on the brink of bed bound exhaustion at all times. You work for Elkor Regitorre (a Bothan), the sleazy owner of 'Reggie's!' a motel/bar. Since you have been a slave you have been saving credits to buy your freedoms. It hasn't been easy saving the tips lodgers give you; spending half on your medical bills and stashing the other half beneath the floorboards in the room you share together in the motel. You currently have 500 credits. You need 600 to pay Mr. Regitorre for your freedoms and however much else to get by once you're gone. (any questions before I continue?)
>>24512804No questions here.
>>24512804Any other family members? Friends? Possessions?? What is it that we do?
>>24512804600 creds is for ourselves alone, or for the brother as well? Although the way he's described maybe the furry perv of a boss would be willing to give us a discount if we take him off his hands. How much does a shuttle fare to closest civilised world cost? What sort of education do we have? Are we skilled in the fine art of battle?
>>24512804Hmmm, sounds like we need to start saving to get Tarlin an extensive cybernetic overhaul. He should be our number one priority once we get our freedom.
>>24512912incidentally, how are our relations with the bro? And what are his other skills? Is he smarter, prettier?
>>24512864You are a slave who works for Mr. Regitorre. You bounce outside his motel, using your strength to keep the drunkards at bay. >>24512906It'll cost 300 credits your freedom. And another 300 for his. A shuttle would cost 50 credits for a standard shuttle. Less if you want to take less safe options. You're a brawler at best. >>24512950He is your best friend in the universe. You'll both do anything for one another.
>>24512950I sure hope he has the Int and Wis to be our mastermind.
>>24512965Let me know if there's anything else that needs immediate clearing up before i begin i n earnest.
>>24512979Nah, no more questions for now.
>>24512979I think we're ready to begin.
It's late at night and you stand outside 'Reggie's!' tending the que to get in. You breathe the warm night air and occassionaly glance up at the billions of stars above you...a reminder that there's more to this universe than a wamp rat infested hive like Mos Eisely. You bop your head to the muffled sound of the jazz being played within as two young male chiss approach with identifaction tags in hand. There look up at your broad frame with glassy eight ball eyes. Roll 1d100 - 40 or less wins.
Rolled 78 + 40>>24513100
They're fake identification tags. >Turn them away>Let them in if they give you some credits >Teach them a lesson for trying to pull one over on you>other
Rolled 1, 1 = 2roll
>>24513161>Turn them awayWe're a professional.
>>24513161>>Let them in if they give you some credits
>>24513161Teach them a lesson.
>>24513161>Turn them awayMake sure to tear up the fake IDs.
>>24513161>>otherOffer to let them for creds, take their money and then turn them away.
>>24513161>Turn them awayLook, we're not that perceptive. If WE could see through those ID tags, then there's going to be nothing but trouble inside. And tell them that they need to get a better fixer.
>>24513161>>24513100>Chiss on TatooineAre they common sight in the galactic space these days? What political powers have greatest influence in this area and the galaxy, respectively, anyway?
>>24513161Every option leads to bad things.Turn them away.
>>24513242Aha, your character wouldn't know too much about stuff outside Mos Eisely for the time being. Being as you failed pretty hard on that intelligence roll.
>>24513304Well does he know they're even Chiss? If he's as sheltered as you say he might think they're mutants or worse.PROSTRATE YOURSELF BEFORE THE GLOWY-EYED DESERT GODS.
>>24513332There's dumb, and then there's furry dwarf primitive screw-head retard. We're not a fucking ewok.
>>24513304I thought we had 3 int? That's not a complete fail..
You tear up their identification tags and throw them in the trash can by your knees. One of the Chiss gives a shout in anger. He curses you with a hiss, and then leaves with his buddy. Next two Twi-lek's, one blue, one green, both smoking hot, approach with a smile. Reggie's given you strict instructions not to let in any whores that aren't on his payroll, however, you're also to give entry to the hotties. 'Hey, baby' says the blue one, pursing her lips and blowing you a kiss. Both give sultry smiles. >Try to find out if they're prostitues>Let them in>Turn them away
>>24513437>Try to find out if they're prostitues"How much for an hour?"
>>24513437just curious, do we have an earpiece? Can we talk to reggie at all or are we on our own out here?
>>24513437>Let them in, they are obviously upstanding ladies of good repute.
>>24513437 They're assassins. Beat the shit out of then and take their credits.
>>24513437>>Turn them awayLet's do this to everyone, you can never be too sure.
>>24513468Good question. Let's go with...no. You don't.
>>24513437>Try to find out if they're prostitues"You working right now?"
>>24513489>>24513457>blunt and insulting to any girl that's NOT a prostituteYep, that Charisma and Wisdom of 1 is a real bitch in social situations.
>>245135411) Ask them 'How much for an hour?'2) Let them in
>>24513564>1) Ask them 'How much for an hour?'Obviously if they ARE prostitutes we tell them to fuck off. We're saving our money for freedom, not whores.
'How much for an hour?' you ask with a devious smile. Roll 1d100 - 50 or less.
Rolled 39>>24513735May the Force be with us.
>>24513541Now I REALLY want to say that.
Rolled 68>>24513735>find a Star Wars quest in progress>read all of thread to catch upThis gonna be good....
'How much for an hour?' you ask with a devious smile. The blue twi'lek adjusts her cleavage and bites her lip. 'That'll be 20 credits for you' she says, pressing her chest against yours and looking up at you. >Turn her away>Take her up on the offer>Let her in>Bribe her >other
Rolled 93>>24513870>otherKeep that pimp hand strong.
>>24513870>"Sorry, you'll have to find customers elsewhere."Turn her away.
>>24513870>Turn her away
'Beat it' you say. The Twi'lek's seductive ploy fades instantly. 'Look' she says, looking over her shoulder then back at you 'I need to be working...maybe for a couple credits you'll let me in?'>No. I won't tell you again. >I'll cost you 20 credits. Each. >let her in>other
>>24514027>otherI keep tellin' you about that pimp hand, son.Bitch is misbehavin.
>>24514027>I'll cost you 50 credits. Each. It's totally unreasonable but hey, if we can get enough money for freedom...
>>24514027100 credits each. Take it or get the fuck out of my sight.
>>24514039What, and have the Bothan beat it back out of us plus interest? We're slaves.Keep the hoe-train moving.
>>24514027>No. I won't tell you again.
>>24514058Second. Risk is too high, and if found out, they would no doubt sell us out. There's enough bars in Mos Eisley.
>>24514027>It's not up to me, lady. Now move along. We're a slave, and orders are orders.
>>24514058>>24514073>>24514092>>24514104I'm with these guys. We're too close to freedom to fuck it up now by being greedy
>>24514027>>245141222. >I'm a slave same as you, and I'm THIS close to freedom. So please, be on your way
>>24514135>I've seen better looking womp rats. Blast off.
'No. I won't tell you again' you say. The Twi'leks get the message. Flip you the finger. Then leave to go find tricks someplace else. You stand outside dealing with patrons for another hour before Reggie pokes his head out of the doorway. His fur ripples as he calls you inside. You follow him to find the bar bustling with sentient creatures talking in a dozen different languages. You're led past the counter into the back where Tarlin stands with a little girl. Tarlin has a pale face and clumps missing from his hair. Even as he stands he holds onto a bannister to support himself. He gives a slight smile of welcome when he sees you. The girl, who looks around twelve or thirteen, has black spikey hair like the fur of a spider. 'This is Jinka' says Reggie idly 'I bought her today at the market, see that she settles in. She'll be working tomorrow'>Introduce yourself to Jinka>'Where is her room?'>Ask how your brother is doing>Ask how Jinka is>other
>>24514180>Introduce yourself to Jinka>Ask how your brother is doing
>>24514180Ask how the girl is first, then tend to your brother. Also, begin formulating revenge on this fucking monkey.
>>24514209Revenge? Fuck that, we should be thanking him for even allowing us the chance to buy our freedom--you have any idea how rare that is? Don't rock the boat. We're so close.
>>24514180Grab his neck and snap that shit. We're done sticking around here.
>>24514227I didn't say carry it out yet.Who cares how rare it is? Oh, I forgot to ask OP: Do we have bombs in our brains like the people did in The Movie That Will Not Be Named Outside of Plinkett Reviews?
>>24514180>Introduce yourself to JinkaAfter that's done,>'Where is her room, Boss?'>>24514209>>24514220Let's think about revenge AFTER we've bought our freedom, guys.
>>24514245We have an int of 3, not -5.
>>24514180>[x] multiple optionsGive a nod to the brother, then turn to the girl.Introduce yourself, dig for some information. Then show her around.
>>24514256Nope. You do have a tracker inside you though.
>>24514300Well shit.Guess its "yessa massa" for a little while longer.
The Bothan surveys you all, his ears twitching, then goes back out front to tend to the patrons.'Hello, Jinka' you say, kneeling to her height. She doesn't say anything. She looks scared. 'I'm Rhalin Rhycee' you say. She allows herself to smile a little. 'Where is she staying, Tarlin? you ask. 'Our room, she's been given a new bunk' says Tarlin, wearily. Your jaw tightens. What a cheap scate! Your room is barely big enough for you and Tarlin as it is. With the inclusion of Jinka they'll hardly be any space at all.You take Jinka's bag, which is filled with raggy clothes, and walk into your room. There is a sloping wall on one side with a steel bed bolted to the wall. With two more to the otherside. There is a window and...not much else. There is your own box full of clothes, and beneath that beneath the floorboard is your stash of money. >It's not much. But I won't be here for long. >Where did you come from Jinka?>Where are your parents (can be a risky question)>Ready to go to sleep?>other

>>24514471You don't think she's not really a slave, do you? Like maybe the Bothan thinks you're up to something and gets some midget alien to pose as a kid?
>>24514496Jesus dude. We have low Charisma but not THAT low.Take a chill.

>>24514754Shit, I completely forgot the vaporator farms.Let's combine the two:>My father was a transport pilot and my mother owned an old vaporator farm. Dad blasted off when I was a kid and Sand People got to Mom. He got bit by a womp rat (indicate brother) and the Bothan took us in.
>>24514822>>24514754We could be Tatooine's first country music star with these backstories.
'I never knew my mother' you say 'my father was a transporter pilot, at least I think he was, I was a youngling back then. Anyway he drank and got in over his head in debt. To pay if off he sold us into slavery, two owners later and we're here with Reggie'You expect some kind of reply, or at least a reaction, from Jinka, but she turns on her side and goes to sleep. It's a long night as you go back out and finish your work. By the time the sun rises the following morning and the last of the patrons trickle out you finally return to your bed. Old buddies sharing a drink. Jinka stands behind them sweeping the floors. She looks up at you and gives a small wave. 'Ahhh, Rhalin!' drones Reggie tipsily, still awake from last night.
