You are a Magical Girl, and you're standing in your own personal vault. A vault made to house weapons that, in an RPG, would have really ridiculous stat points but hit the user equipping them with all sorts of horrible status effects. Weapons that you're pretty sure need to be constantly oiled with the blood of the innocent or the souls of the damned, that sort of thing.Weapons that really have no business of being used, really, is what you're trying to get at here. Even if they do look really flashy, what with being completely gold and everything. The shiny, blindingly-lustrous sort of gold that makes even real gold look fake. The sort of gold that drive Magical Girls completely insane, reducing them into bloodthirsty creatures, hallucinating about a crazed goddess in pink and gibbering about the Flesh of Fallen Angels.. . .It's all well and good that you have to collect all twenty of them, eh?You're far from being the selfless paragon of Justice that Magical Girls are supposed to be, but you're in no hurry to see the next person you're in good terms with get reduced to a raving lunatic by wielding one of these around.Better you than them....Ah, you could really go for a smoke right now.
>>24375548Anyway, you have four of these Golden Weapons in your possession. The first Golden Weapon you acquired is the Desert Eagle. Pinky gave this to you personally, after helping you wake up from a Callidus' illusion during a protection assignment. It's gotten the most use out of you so far. It bears the number VII on its handle. The second Golden Weapon you procured is Kirika Kure's Murasame, the former Eversor's former pride and joy. She cut off your arm with this blade, moments before you had her reduced to hamburger by Misaka. You've used this...just once, from what you remember, and with nearly disastrous results. It has the number XX on its hilt, and it's currently stored in the vault, on its rack. You don't like it every much. The third Golden Weapon you won is Lance Kilgore's gauntlets - or bracelets, as they are now. He wasn't a Magical Girl, but it still turned him into something twisted, something craven, that you managed to put down after getting help from Tiny Pete. They transform into large, punchy things that have autocannons installed in each finger. You've used this just once, during a half-remembered training session with Kharn. You've also managed to talk to the soul of the Magical Girl seemingly residing in them, Kotarou Yuu. She seemed a nice enough girl. You have this in your inventory right now, along with the VII Golden Weapon. The fourth Golden Weapon that you were given is Valnikov Kharn's chainaxes. They're huge, imposing, and really have that kind of intimidating air that matched that of their former owner. The axes themselves have a dirty sheen of dried blood on them, and the teeth look as though they're about to tear into flesh any second. From what you remember, they can fit together into one monstrously-huge battleaxe. They bear the number XV, and it's stored in this vault along with the XX Golden Weapon.[1/2]
>>24375556. . .You can't really deny the atmosphere that you get just by standing in the same room as both the XV and XX weapons. It's a dangerous sort of atmosphere, the sort that makes you watch your step and hold your breath for a moment before exhaling. A palpable killing intent, which, in the case of Kirika and Kharn, both had in copious amounts. But despite how the chainaxes dwarfed the katana, the former seems to be...jovial, friendly almost. Just like Kharn, it had the air of a person who absolutely loved murderous combat. Someone who enjoyed war and the bloody business that comes with it. Fitting, really, what with the previous owner having a hobby of collecting skulls. The latter, though...well. You're not all that keen to even get involved with it.Kirika Kure. What a fucking bitch. Seriously. What do you do?Take the rest of the Golden Weapons from their racks with you and leave.Place all the Golden Weapons back in their racks - gun and bracelets included - and leave.Touch the XV Weapon.Touch the XX Weapon.Talk to Kotarou Yuu, the girl inside the XI Golden Weapon. Maybe she's lonely.Call Iori.
Call Iori.My joy is that of ten thousand bees calling me father.
>>24375575Talk to Yuu.
>>24375575[X]Talk to Kotarou Yuu, the girl inside the XI Golden Weapon. Maybe she's lonely.[X]Take the rest of the Golden Weapons from their racks with you and leave.I suspect our hammerspace shield is safer than the vault.
>>24375575>[X]Talk to Kotarou Yuu, the girl inside the XI Golden Weapon. Maybe she's lonely. This might be something about not knowing BRS, but thinking about it something as been bothering me. How did Kilgore get the ability to charm women? He's supposed to be a normal human. We can ask Yuu now that we don't have amnesia
>>24375575>>[X]Talk to Kotarou Yuu, the girl inside the XI Golden Weapon. Maybe she's lonely.>>[X]Place all the Golden Weapons back in their racks - gun and bracelets included - and leave.

>Talk to Kotarou Yuu, the girl inside the XI Golden Weapon. Maybe she's lonely.>Place all the Golden Weapons back in their racks - gun and bracelets included - and leave..>Call Iori.In this order
>>24375575>Talk to Kotarou Yuu, the girl inside the XI Golden Weapon. Maybe she's lonely.Guys, after this we should call the idol so Decu doesn't bad-end us for ignoring plot. Maybe we can ignore her after the call..
>>24375606And then, magical pickpocket. Bam.>>24375575Talk to miss punchyfist.
>>24375624Yea, I think we should deal with Iori before we deal with Sayaka. Get all the loose ends out of the way.
[x]Touch the XV Weapon.Yeah. Curiosity it is.
>>24375575Talk to Kotarou Yuu, the girl inside the XI Golden Weapon. Maybe she's lonely.Touch the XV Weapon.Call Iori. And tell Iori we're on a business meeting and we'll have to post-pone the meeting for a bit
>>24375575>Talk to Kotarou Yuu, the girl inside the XI Golden Weapon. Maybe she's lonely.
>>24375575Talk to YuuWe don't want her to get lonely. See if she knows anything about the others
>>24375575>Talk to Kotarou Yuu, the girl inside the XI Golden Weapon. Maybe she's lonely.and we'll have to talk to Iori soon too.
>>24375575[x]Talk to Kotarou Yuu, the girl inside the XI Golden Weapon. Maybe she's horny.
>>24375707>and we'll have to talk to Iori soon too.I wish we didn't. Damned spoilt jealous bitch.
>>24375575>[X] Call Iori
>>24375575[x] Chat with Kotarou YuuStill don't give a crap about Iori.
>>24375575Actually, also, touch the XV weapon. We should figure out how the souls in them work, whether it will be empty like our deagle is or...what.
>>24375737I get the iori hate on, but isn't it still our job to protect her and all that? Ignoring our job is sort of against our current attitude I think
>>24375756You make a good point, but as I see it, she's well-protected as she is now, and will probably be better-protected if we stay way the crap away from her, knowing us.
>>24375737>>24375756not to mention that the more we ignore her, the higher the chance will be she'll do something stupid to get our attention.
>>24375756Were we still under contract to protect her? I thought that ended?
>>24375575[X]Talk to Kotarou Yuu, the girl inside the XI Golden Weapon. Maybe she's lonely. This first, then....[X] Call Iori.
>>24375575[x]Talk to Kotarou Yuu, the girl inside the XI Golden Weapon. Maybe she's lonely.>>24375756We ARE protecting her, by keeping her as far away from us as possible. But maybe we should talk to her. >>24375764 is right. At the very least we should apologise for pushing her away, and tell her why we did so.
>>24375776No? We just said they will remain at Garcia's place with magical girls checking up on her while we are gone. We are still the primary until she leaves for the states
>>24375776Far as I can tell, it just got temporarily suspended while we were on "forced vacation" time.
>>24375788> tell her why we did so.I thought our reasons were clearly stated when we sent her off?>At the very least we should apologise for pushing her awayThere is no need to apologise for doing the right thing.
>>24375714I mean...couldn't we just not?
>>24375804We have a job. We are a professional.
>>24375791>she leaves for the statesI remember her saying something about giving up touring for a while
>>24375788>apologise for pushing her awayYeah, no. There's nothing to apologize for. We were a mess, and she didn't need to be a part of that. We're also a different class of entity. We don't have a soul in our body, fer fuck's sake.
>>24375714We can do it tomorrow. The talk with her will take a while and we need to speak with sayaka asap.
>>24375814A few months yeah. And she was to stay with us as a bodyguard until she had to leave. 'Just a few months' was the time-frame if I recall.
>>24375816>implying Mami lets that fact stop her
>>24375788>>At the very least we should apologise for pushing her awayWhile I'm of a mind that Iori needs to be talked to and taken care of, we should NOT apologize for pushing her away or we'll just reopen that can of warms. We can apologize for being tactless, but we already did that way back when. We just need to let her know we're back and that if she wants to talk, we're willing to listen but we have new responsibilities that demand our attention first.Nothing more, nothing less.
>>24375804Don't give Decu any chances to push us into a corner or better yet, a bad end. We deal with her like a pesky, annoying animal. Grudgingly, but enough to avoid her starting stupid shit.>>24375788>At the very least we should apologise for pushing her away, and tell her why we did so.No.
>>24375826Doesn't mean WE need to hop on the bestiality bandwagon.
So; >Talk to Yuu>Meet with Sayaka>Call Iori in the morningIn that order?
>>24375599 >>24375606 >>24375612 >>24375615You decide to talk to Kotarou Yuu for a bit. You remember her from your training session with Kharn, and for someone who's obviously spent time using a Golden Weapon, she seemed to be quite the personable, stable sort. ...More stable than you or Kharn, at that. Definitely much more stable than Kirika was.You take out the bracelets from your inventory and slip them on, one after the other. Even in the relative chill of the vault, they're skin-warm, as if you're putting them on after someone else had been wearing them all day....Now, how do you talk to her? You remember being able to, but only after having them transform into their...bulkier forms. You also had a chainaxe buried in your shoulder, right down to the bone, and were in danger of losing that shoulder and the arm connected to it at the time. You probably won't be able to replicate that situation at the moment without considerable effort, but--+ Matsuda-san? Is that you? + You suddenly hear Kotarou Yuu's voice in your mind, shy and polite as always. + Ahah, that kind presence. I'd recognize it from anywhere. It really is you, isn't it? +Huh. Well, there's a thing. You weren't sure if she'd recognize you at the moment, seeing as she met a Chiaki Matsuda that's slightly different than the one you are now. + Ah, I suppose that's reasonable, but a little forgetfulness like that, it doesn't really change a person. Matsuda-san is still Matsuda-san no matter what, I think. + She replies quickly and eagerly, which really makes it clear that the poor thing is starved for conversation. You shake your head slightly at this.+ Um...s-so, did Matsuda-san just want to talk like this, or...would you like me to take you back in here for the moment? + Yuu says after a while. + I don't mind talking like this, but maybe Matsuda-san would prefer a face to talk to...? + How do you respond?
>>24375816>>24375827>>24375836Lets not do that, I am sure no one is under the illusion that we can get back together with Iori. (hopefully) What I think we should do now is to make sure that Iori isn't getting into any destructive behaviour (i.e. getting in the relationships just to spite us, taking up smoking just to emulate us) and let her understand that while we would like to be back together it would be far better for both of us that we don't Pic unrelated
>>24375865Oh no.What if she's more adorable than Midori?
>>24375865Sure, let's go in. Have a proper conversation, or at least try to.
>>24375879>let her understand that while we would like to be back togetherAh, so the "lie through our teeth" approach. Gotcha.
>>24375865It is up to YuuWe wanted to know if she had any thoughts on the others and any suggestions for avoiding their influence
>>24375865Remain talking like this. Take no risks. Yuu seems stable, but playing with these things more than we have to is dangerous business.
>>24375894>It is up to Yuu
>>24375865"Sure.">>24375879>Pic unrelatedNo, it really isn't.
>>24375865I agree that it's up to Yuu, though....She really is cute, huh.
>>24375865We must go deeper. Let's visit her mind-realm and see what's up.
>>24375884>more adorable than midori
>>24375865While I would like to have a face to face chat. I think its better not to, due to the fact that we are busy and got stuff to do. How do you respond?"I remember the ballroom, Kigore and now I killed him. Something doesn't add up, how did Kigore get all those wives? I thought he was just a normal person before he must have taken the gauntlets off of you."
>>24375865Time's going slower inside her. Do it!
>>24375914NO! RESIST!Green Green is the only true waifu!
>>24375865Considering she's starved for conversation, that probably goes for actually seeing someone as well. Who knows? Maybe this will give us further insight into how the other weapons work. Ask her if that's what she wants. She'll probably say "Yes" so go along with.
>>24375865Will it take time?We don't want to linger too long.
>>24375933Hey, so...watermelons have cute little black seeds, right? And Yuu wears black, so...she's just the seeds in the watermelon end, right? Right?
>>24375865[X]I think I can spare the time, pull me in.Let's not have another Mirai.
>>24375865"Sure, assuming that it isn't too taxing and that it won't make us both go insane. Given that you are the least insane person in a magical murdering device that I have met so far I figure I ought to get to know you as well as possible."Once we're talking to her face to face "So, tell me about yourself. How did you get these bracelets? Why aren't you insane? How did Kilgore end up with you in his possession? Is there anything in your past that you think is relevant to the situation at hand?"
>>24375548>Looks interesting>Sounds like a quest halfway in progress.>Search suptg archives, find over 70... Some are missing or misnumbered and cannot be found in the foolz archiveWhy in the world are you not numbering those threads?
>>24375995http://magicalgirlnoir.com/I believe the threads were compiled here for the most part
>>24375951Way more of them though. We gonna do this with all of them?
>>24375995As someone who has been through the entire quest from the archives up to the recap thread. You sir, are full of shit.

>>24375995You're either blind or stupid, the quests are numbered just fine. But no matter. Go to the end of the latest archived quest. At the very end is a download link for all the quest in pdf and doc compiled by one good man.
>>24376012That's a hell of a file name. Though you may have a point.
>>24375995>Foolz ArchiveNo wonder you can't find shit if you are using that.suptg then Foolz Only use it if you can't find what you are looking for
>>24376009>>24376030Thank you.Would still be nice if threads were numbered
>>24376058They are in the suptg archivesSometimes the threads get out of order due to how they organize their site but everything from 1 onwards is there and numbered
>>24375865"This is fine, Yuu. Tell me about yourself, anything that seems important. First, how did you get the bracelets and how did you keep your sanity intact unlike the other Golden Weapon wielders?"
You know if on the way out we run into another girl who wants a photo, we should oblige for one for the rest of the officio to share. And then give that one a blue rose with thorns. Just to see her faint.
>>24375865Probably too late, but I think we should talk like this, while walking to the car. We can text Iori that we're taking care of Officio business that can't wait right now, but will talk with her after its done. Then we can continue talking with Yuu on the car ride to Sayaka's.
Reminder that we need to ask Mami where she gets her suits.
>>24376290But if she gets them at the +size chest store, it won't do US any good.
>>24375888 >>24375894 >>24375914 >>24375920After a moment's thought, you agree to take her up on her offer. Talking face to face would certainly be good at the moment, and...well, you want to learn more about dealing with the Golden Weapons from someone who isn't Kharn. It only strikes you now that you've literally learned nothing about them from the Russian, only coming away with a couple of hats, some new bruises, and an aide who's recovering from the entire experience in sick bay.Well, she did help get your procedure done, but..+ Oh, alright! Um, well, this'll just take a second-- + Yuu's voice seems to come from far away, and the vault around you flickers before suddenly disappearing into complete and utter darkness. But before disorientation at standing in the middle of nothing could take your senses, the lights are switched back on - and you find yourself standing in a field of thick, white snow. Not unlike the Siberian landscape you've left only hours before. You hear a growling by your feet - or at least, snoring - and you look down to see a massive bear, lying on its back. It seems to be deep asleep, but the ugly bruise on its jaw makes you arrive to the conclusion that it's been knocked out by one single punch. Its tongue is even lolling out in that slack-jawed way that punch-drunk pugilists get after being put down."He'll be alright, Matsuda-san," Comes a voice behind you, and you turn to see the girl of the XI Golden Weapon standing in her strange, one-piece black dress with the thick, oversized hood covering most of her face. "At least, I remember that he was. Tried to maul someone else before thinking better of it and looking for fish instead." She giggles quietly, her shoulders shaking. "Silly old bear."[1/2]
>>24376296Well clearly they'd be tailored.
>>24376299Huh. So she punched him out, did she? You nudge at the bear's paw with a foot. It's easily bigger than your entire face, and you don't see the bear having any particular trouble of crushing your skull with it."Mmm! With one punch!" She holds up a gloved fist, all exubrance. "Always with the one punch that I've practiced for ten thousand times!". . .Well. She's certainly some kind of Magical Girl. You're not sure if you know anyone else with her kind of dedication. How do you begin talking to her? What do you ask first?
>>24376311What kind of panties are you wearing?
>>24376311>So how did you end up here?
>>24376311"How did Kilgore get your weapon?">>24376327If you're going to be tactless, at least be relevantly tactless. We'll ask that one just before we leave.
>>24376311"Walk with me. "I suppose I should get this out of the way first; which Officio did you work for, and is there anything unfinished you want taken care of?"May as well get to know about her a little more. Then we can ask about the other Golden Weapon personalities.
>>24376311Is this playing out inside my mind? Because usually in those times I have whiskey.
>>24376311"How did you end up with those gauntlets?....and how did Kilgore get his hands on them?"
>>24376311I suppose now that we got our memories back, we can ask her some questions on her past. >How did the pinky... I mean the blessed lady give you your weapon?>How did you fall in with Kilgore?
[x] Lick our own soulgem
>>24376311Asking her what Officio she was a part of is a good start. Other than that, anything she feels comfortable talking about herself. If we're going to be working together, we need to know more about her, but I'd rather she discloses the information willingly rather than treating this as an interrogation.
Ask her what her story is. Who is she, how did she get into the weapon, any pink-haired girls of questionable sanity in her life, that sort of thing.
>>24376364Hrm....good point. Changing my answer to this.
>>24376335>>24376364If we ask her which Officio she was in, we could also ask if any meguca there had any Golden Weapons besides her.
>>24376327Ask this at some pointAsking her first up could be too distracting though
>>24376364Yeah, this, and if she has any unfinished business we could help take care of.Hey, if she's going to be one of our effective subordinates, might as well make sure she's well taken care of.
>>24376327Chucklefucks, chucklefucks everywhere
Asking to see her panties is stupid. If we wanted to see panties that badly, we can wait for Midori to get out of her coma and just ask her. She'll probably do it.
>>24376536>implying you aren't >implying we all aren't
>>24376580This. Midori would probably give them to us if we asked nicely. No need to go full Fishmalk
>>24376580I'm curious as to what Pinky would do if we asked her.
>>24376299To be fair to Kharn, she probably didn't even know anything more about the golden weapons other than how well they cut people in half, and probably didn't see much use in investigating further than that. If anything we should be shaking our metaphorical fists at Malal, turned out she probably knew way more than Kharn.
>>24376311"Ten thousand every day ?"
>>24376611Either blush profusely and scold Homura-chan for being so lewd, or just scold us for joking about something like that.
>>24376622Kharn would have had great conversations with her weapons She pulls them out, she screams SKULLS, they scream with her and everyone gets along just fineWhether she realized it wasn't actually her own mind screaming SKULLSKULLSKULLSKULLSBLOODBLOODBLOOD is another matter entirely...
>>24376658This must happen. BUT! We need to wear Kharn's hat so we can blame something.
>>24376622Huh. There was another password given to us after the whole Siberia arc, wasn't there? I think it was "REMOV". We should try that out the next opportunity we get.Although it would be a bit of a downer to discover that the password to remove all passwords on the smartphone app was "REMOVE" minus the "E".
>>24376611Even if she didn't mind, I'm not so sure we'd want to see whatever's under the mad witch's skirt, because I can only imagine an Akira thing going on if she ever wanted to have sex with us.
>>24376707Kharn can be pretty cunning when she puts her mind to it, but you're right. Her usual train of thought cant be pretty simple...
>>24376723Yer mind is the gutter mate. I just want to see a bashful Pinky.
>>24376339 >>24376334 >>24376380 >>24376364Putting the fact that the person you're talking to - who seems to be only a few inches taller than Misaka, really - could knock out a giant bear in one punch, Yuu actually seems like a normal kid, or at least as normal as Magical Girls go. Quite a refreshing thing, since you've met a lot of girls that, after contracting, seemed all too willing to adopt a new personality to come with their new lifestyle. You tell her to walk with you as you talk, and she acquiesces all too readily, keeping in step with you as you trudge through the ankle-deep snow. The powdered ice crunching underneath your soles with every step, your breaths misting in the crisp, cool air.You open the conversation by asking her what Officio she's from. This was going to come up eventually, so you might as well bring it up in a casual conversation like this, rather than waiting for an interrogation. This might also give you a clue as to just how spread out the Golden Weapons actually are, although you remember that Pinky warned you about a particular Magical Girl having five of the things in her collection already."...Officio?" Yuu replies after a moment, her black, amber-pinned eyes blinking at you in surprise. "O-oh, no, I didn't really belong in one. Not like the sort you're in, anyway."Oh? If that's the case, how'd she become a Magical Girl?"Through the usual way, of course! An Incubator found me, and asked me if I'd like to be one. He...he was really friendly, and explained everything to me, including what happens if I don't keep up with my Grief Seeds. He told me that...that he only wanted to see me reach my fullest potential, both physically and spiritually." Yuu seems to smile behind the oversized collar of her hood. "He...he also used a lot of big words that I didn't quite get, but overall he sounded like a really nice person who only wanted me to continue my training."...That sounds like an Incubator, yeah.[1/2]
>>24376714I was thinking of another two passwords: LANCE and STORY . You think they might work?
>>24376789"Mind, I was in the hospital then. I had horrible asthma, and it knocked me right out if I so much as run an entire lap...but after my contract, I felt like I could do anything." She grins. "And he even offered to send me a Grief Seed whenever I needed it, so I didn't need to interrupt my training with hunting Witches. But I declined and hunted Witches anyway, or at least, whenever I could find them. I'd like to think I did well enough on that front."You change your mind, that doesn't sound like an Incubator at all. That sounds much too nice to be an Incubator. Not even Kyuubey's that altruistic."Really? Well, I wouldn't know, Matsuda-san. I didn't really do much, being a Magical Girl. The odd Witch, here and there, and training. Always training." A wistful tone overtakes her voice, as if she misses it sorely. And she probably does. "I managed to travel all the way to America, too, one time! And I challenged a lot of Magical Girls there!" She giggles. "Managed to punch out one who nearly killed me with a kitchen knife!"A...kitchen knife, did she say? What do you ask next?
>>24376790After that gif, I'm willing to throw PARTY onto the pile of potential passwords as well.
>>24376800How did she come by the gauntlets?
>>24376800Could you describe the Magical Girl with the kitchen knife? Do you remember anything about her in particular?
>>24376789It looks like one of those incubators that QB doesn't like to be with. >>24376800I suppose we can shift the story to gauntlets and Kilgore. "Did you try to go into wrestling?"
>>24376800Tell me more about this kitchen knife wielder. And why was she in USA in the first place.Could also use info on how Kilgore got her gauntlets.Great, we can use her if Madotsuki will want to scramble in RL.
>>24376800How long ago did you contract and how did you end up inside the bangles?
>>24376800>I have a vague idea who the kitchen knife wielding girl is.ask her about the golden weapon she had and if she remembers, how they ended up with Killgore.if it is a painful subject don't force an answer
>>24376810>flashing neon lights on front and back of phone>UNCE UNCE UNCE UNCE from the speaker>nothing elsegoddamnit malal
>>24376800A kitchen knife? How odd. How'd you fall in with Kilgore? Sweet girl like you doesn't really seem his type.
>>24376800Kitchen knife?I'm getting the feeling it might be Totally Awesome Sweet Alabama Liquid Snake.
>>24376299>"Silly old bear.">>24376311>"Always with the one punch that I've practiced for ten thousand times!"... Are those references to Winnie the Pooh and One-Punch Man.
>>24376800"Well...first things first...can you tell us what this Incubator looked like?"Then we can move on to the gauntlets and Kilgore. There's the possibility she's from further back, before the Officio's were established.
>>24376924Bear in mind our Checkerboard wearing nightmare from thread 84 cut our throat with a Kitchen Knife...

"I...I got the bracelets from...from a very pretty girl. She wore this dress with a lot of frills, and she had the loveliest smile, and...and..." You see her cheeks redden slightly. "...I think I fell in love with her at one point, too..."You let your silence be a gentle signal for her to continue, and she does, but haltingly. "...Ah, it's embarrassing, but I don't really remember who she was. She had really long hair, though, as white as snow...does that help? I know you're trying to find who's spreading them around, I'm sorry I can't tell you any more..."It's alright, you tell her. You know how it is, when your memory starts to become unreliable. Hardly her fault, and what little she's told you can probably help in some form or other. It does confirm that someone else other than Pinky is handing out the weapons, though...but who would do such a thing like that? You file this question away for now, and ask her about Lance Kilgore. He doesn't seem to be her type at all - how'd Yuu get mixed up with him?"Now, that, I remember." It's here that Yuu narrows her eyes, and a frosty tone eliminates what warmth there was in her voice. "He cheated! We were supposed to have a fair fight! I needed money to get back to Japan, so I challenged him, and bet my bracelets!" She growls in frustration at this, and a clump of snow hurtles skyward, kicked up by her upraised foot. "I made sure not to use magic at the time, too! But he found out, somehow, and..." Another irritated grunt issuing from her throat, and she clams up right then and there, pouting even though her lips are hidden.A sensitive topic?[1/2]
>>24377392Shit, so Pinky has competition?
>>24377392"...A bit," She murmurs after a moment. "I really can't get angry. I...got a bit too foolish, too daring. I knew it was a trap, somehow. I knew he was going to try something, but I went for it anyway." She shakes her head, before looking down at her gloved hands. "Didn't even get to land a punch before the first shot took my right arm, off the elbow. Next shot went took my legs away, the third..." She tapped her forehead. "Kilgore gave that to me personally, grinning like an idiot. Before he could shoot my soul gem to pieces, though, the Blessed Lady gave me a way out, and I took it."A way out? Like...being here, in her own Golden Weapon?"It's not so bad," Yuu says mildly, reaching down to scoop up some snow off the ground, patting it carefully into a ball. "It's a bit boring sometimes, but it can be worse."How?"I...I'm not exactly sure how." The girl seems to hesitate here. "But I know it can."Well. At least you know now how Kilgore got the gauntlets.Cheating ratface bastard. At least you've gotten him back for that. What else do you ask?

She squeaks at this, stopping right in her tracks, and looks up at you with wide eyes."That...w-what did you do just now, Matsuda-san...?"You blink at this. You...you patted her on the head. That's what you did. Is...is that a bad thing to do? You didn't mean to be inappropriate, you just wanted to--"O-oh, I see! Um, no, it's fine, I..." She reddens from behind her hood's absurdly-large collar, and she looks down, seemingly bashful about the entire situation. "I do believe I've been here for too long, I...I forgot what it was like, having someone else around and doing that to me. It felt nice." She looks up again. "Can...can you do that again? Just one more time, before you leave?"...Well, you don't see the harm in it, so you shrug and oblige her. Yuu makes a happy sound at this, before reaching up with both hands to pull her hood back and down, revealing her own snow-white hair. You wonder idly if this is yet another bad decision in the making, as you spend a few moments smoothing out the girl's hair with a hand, patting her like one would a cherished pet, while she herself made some very satisfied sounds."...Thank you," She says after the deed is done, in a pleased and breathless voice. She pulls her hood back up, her cheeks positively glowing, and you glance down at your patting hand, mulling over the potential consequences of what you've done.Nah. It's...no. Yuu's a nice girl. She's nothing like that.At the very least, you're safe in the knowledge that she hasn't read any of Midori's stuff.[1/2]
>>24378130In any case, you think you've spent long enough with her for now. You'll have to get back and attend to something else, but you tell her that you'll visit her again as soon as you can."I look forward to it, Matsuda-san!" Yuu says cheerfully. "Ah, the way out is through there, just keep walking and you'll find yourself back where you came from!" She points to the path ahead of you. You nod at this, and make to set off - but before you do, you ask her about the Incubator she contracted with. Did he have a name, and what did he look like?"O-oh, um, the Incubator who gave me a contract called himself the Seventh! He looks like a white cat with long, floppy ears and really cute red eyes, like a mascot...a-and he had this really cool red scarf that had a wind effect, even if it wasn't windy!"...Huh. Sounds like an Incubator, all right. You thank her for this, and trudge on, leaving her behind."Matsuda-san!" You hear her call after you've made some headway, and you turn to look at her, puzzled - before receiving a thrown snowball right in the face.. . .why that little--After you scrape the snow away from your eyes - intent on returning fire - it's then that you realize that you're back in the vault. No more snowy forest, just the chill of the airconditioned room and the lustre of the two other Golden Weapons in their cases.Silly kid. If she didn't get mixed up in this stupid Golden Weapon business, she'd have made a great Magical Girl. You managed to get some information from her, at least, so it wasn't completely wasted time.In any case, what do you do now?Leave all the Golden Weapons here.Leave the Golden Weapons here except one of your choosing.Investigate the XV Golden Weapon.Investigate the XX Golden Weapon.Take all the Golden Weapons and leave.

>>24378321While I agree on that, this is still MGNOIRQuest and if we at least don`t check on her via call, she might do something stupid and we will have to deal with it. We have to get to Sayaka anyway so I guess we can call Iori on our way there, even if Sayaka is within walking distance in the building.
>>24378350I figure she heard about our 'accident' in siberia.Mami mentioned that she, sayaka and kyoko would take turns guarding her and if they found out, she'd find out rather quickly too.
>>24378363That's a bit extreme and unkind, even for Iori. She knows Kyouko is our friend since she was our babysitter of choice during the Kirika assignment. Iori was probably just insistent on getting a headsup when we got back to Japan.

>>24378538>>24378533Whatever the case is, this situation still bears some investigating. >>24378165 >>24378180 >>24378188 >>24378191You pull out your smartphone to check the time. From what you can tell, it hasn't really been that long since you stepped inside the vault - in fact, talking with Yuu didn't seem to take nearly as long as you thought it would. This confirms that time moves much more slowly when you're taken...well, wherever it is she took you for that conversation. You keep this nugget of convenient information to yourself, before noticing that you've received no less than thirty miscalls from a certain idol.. . .You shake your head at this, before stuffing your smartphone back into your inventory. Not right now. Not when there are much more important things to do.Reaching up, you take the chainaxes from their display racks, trying your best to ignore the sudden burst of adrenalin as your fingers come in contact with the handles. Kharn was painfully accurate in her description - as intimidating as they looked, touching them actually made you WANT to use them, to just attack an entire Officio on your lonesome just having the things equipped and nothing else. They wanted you to fight with odds stacked against you, because the more enemies there are, the more skulls you can offer to the Blood--You spit out a curse as you shove Gorefather into your inventory, right after Gorechild. The chainaxes nearly had you going there for a moment - good thing you managed to get them in before you decided to make yourself retirement material. Not that it felt bad or anything, but with everything that's happened so far, you're not in the mood at the moment. This left the Murasame, of course. The XX Weapon. Kirika's all but made herself known like Yuu did with the bracelets - as such, you're not taking any chances, here. You grasp it by the sheathe, careful not to touch its handle, and drop it into your inventory, not caring if it clattered against the chainaxes or whatever on the way. It could get lost there for all you care.[1/2]
>>24379281Your business done, you slide your passcard at the required slot, and the blast doors slide open to let you out of the vault. Kyoko, true to her word, is waiting for you outside, trying Kharn's Ushanka on for size."Oh, finished?" Kyoko says as she turns to look at you, looking utterly ridiculous with the ushanka on. She seems very pleased with it, however, even after the fact that it still smells like bear. And vodka. It smells like a bear drunk on vodka. "I'm not supposed to ask what you just did there, so I won't. Anyway, where do you wanna go? I'll drive, of course."...Before that, you have to say that she seems really happy with the ushanka."Ahaha, well, it's your first gift for me, so it's kinda special! Besides, I've wanted one of these for the longest time!"...Huh. Right. Well. She should take care of it."YOu don't have to tell me twice!"Where do you want Kyoko to drive you?To your apartment. [X] To her apartment. You want to get talking with Sayaka out of the way.Business before displeasure.

>>24379695>>24379650Decu promised us serious shit once we returned and said that ignoring Iori can have serious consequences. Look at us, marching right into the bloody trap. Fuck, you'd think we're doing this on purpose to have a more interesting life. Well, whatever. Hopefully this won't affect Green-Green or Pinky end. Oh who am I kidding..
>>24379606Decu did say that ignoring her is the road that leads straight into her BAD END.Well, more like didn't deny it.
>>24379781Too bad Chiaki can't hear deculture's warnings.
>>24379781Which is why I voted for us to at least call her. Chiaki can't no it'll go bad, just that Iori is calling her a lot and they left on bad terms. So calling while driving makes sense.
i agree, call her at the very least.
>>24379781>>24379824>>24379834Giving a glance at the replays to his latest post. It looks like going to Kyoko and Sakaya's apartment is winning while giving Iori a call on the way. The outcome an either be:>Finding out that we called while Iori is having sechs or>Hearing that the Lovelace Residence is under attack. We are screwed either way
>>24379781I think we're doing fine. Sending a message is good enough for now. She can read between the lines and figure out that we're willing to talk, but not ready at right this fucking instant. We do need to take care of Iori, and soon, but she'll keep for an hour or two.
>>24379893>>24379894Yeah, figured something like that. Besides, if they were under attack, they'd contact the Officio first and she wouldn't have time to call 30 bloody times. Theoretically this can't be THAT bloody important that it couldn't wait for a few hours.
>>24379893>>Hearing that the Lovelace Residence is under attack.Superdumb.She called us hours ago. Refusing to tell anyone about fucking mansion going down or lives lost is beyond retarded.I think she was just worried. Anything else could've been told to Mami
>>24379893Well, if it's REALLY important I guess we can reschedule the meeting with Sayaka
>>24379781Caring about shippingYou are history's greatest monster
>>24379893Honestly we're stuck between a rock and a hard place here. We need to talk with Sayaka, from what Kyoko's been hinting at, and we need to talk with Iori, to avoid a disaster. Going to one while calling the other is the only way to try to get out of it intact.
>>24380039Not even they guy you responded to.. but: >Not wanting Midori-EndNo anon you are the demons
>>24379321 >>24379338 >>24379342 >>24379363"Ah, sure, I can do that." Kyoko grins as the both of you make your way back to the elevator, to return to the building lobby. "Lemme just call ahead and say you're coming over, yeah? Probably have her get coffee on the boil for us so it's hot when we get there."You nod silently at this, and let your red-haired Eversor companion call up and chat loudly with her life partner in peace. Besides mulling over what Yuu had told you - about the Seventh Incubator, as well as the mysterious girls she'd met during her relatively short career - you can't help but think back on Iori....You didn't part ways with her before Siberia all that well, that you can remember. And while you're the last person to admit it, for some time, you...felt something, towards the girl. But was it really attraction, or just plain infatuation? Idols had that effect on people, after all. Mass-marketed cute personalities designed to incite protectiveness and affection, that sort of thing. Your first impression of her wasn't all that great, either, when she yelled at you for smelling like liquor the first time you met. Asking you to take a shower during guard duty, of all things.. . .Then again, she did start to look at you properly after that. One of the few people, besides Mami Tomoe, who could set eyes on you and not look like they're surveying a pile of garbage. One of the few people to say your name without it sounding like a curse. For Christ's sake, what were you thinking? Were you REALLY expecting it to work? Between the both of you, a Magical Girl living on borrowed time, and her, a popular idol?Your life isn't a third-rate shoujo novel, for fuck's sake.[1/2]
>>24380181As you finally get into the company car - the back seat feeling much emptier without Midori with you - it's then that you contemplate finally calling Iori. You don't even remember pulling your phone out of your inventory, but it's in your hand, now, as Kyoko begins to drive you back towards her apartment."Haha, I woke Sayaka up. She's kinda in a bad mood, but she's making the coffee now." Kyoko grins sheepishly at you from the rear view mirror. "Waffles, too!"Nice. Hopefully she cuts back on the poison for your share."Aw, come on, Murderface!"What do you do?Call Iori.Text Iori instead. (Write-in Message)Do nothing. Iori can wait till morning.
>>24380204>[X]Call Iori. It's not like we have anything to do on the way. A good warmaster should multi-task after all.
