Millicent Fauxly is a first year Ravenclaw who has a fear of large bodies of water, is good at hexes, is usually grumpy about something, has finally opened up enough to gain a close circle of friends. Her relationship with her sister has improved whilst her family have cut-off communications with her due to her not being housed in Slytherin.
Quest is up. I'll be taking it at my own pace tonight. How is everyone?
>>24264553Holy shit, I just got caught up with this not even an hour ago.
>>24264553Just now leaving for work.DAMN YOU
>>24264553Mrs. Rowling my body is ready.
>>24264524Also just how set in stone is stuff we see in the crystal ball? I know canon-wise prophecies are totally unavoidable, but I don't know if it's the same with crystal balls or if you're house-ruling it.
>>24264524I'm here ready.
>>24264702We just saw us getting killed by Bergle. I don't think its set in stone.
>>24264702Given that the first time we used the crystal ball, we saw Bergle attacking us and were able to counter, I think the latter is the case.Though I wouldn't be surprised if the specifics is something we'll have to learn on our own.
You make an effort to control yourself for the betterment of your friends and to make sure you’re not taken straight back to Hogwarts for any misbehaviour. Charles’ words however rile you up in such a way that doing anything other than standing from your seat, ignoring Joel’s attempt to pull you back down, and point your wand straight between the eyes of the Slytherin student. Everything happened so quickly you scarcely believe it was you who did it; white hot fury pumping through your views you cast a wordless spell on instinct. Charles’ nonchalant expression changes from idle boredom to agonized screaming as he convulses in his seat, his body wrenching and twisting like a wild animal branded by an iron rod. A warmth rushes through your mind as you do this, enjoying his pain, feeling it as if your own hands are clawing into his brain and scraping the flesh away. “Expelliarmus!” shouts a voice as your wand shoots from your grip and clangs against the carriage window. You snap out of your daze and turn to the sliding door to find Professor Avori holding his wand up at you.(more incoming)
>>24264524woo, on time this time
>>24264882What the fuck is going on here? Is this that 100 roll that an anon made in the previous thread?
He grabs you roughly by your arm and says something to professor Leverty whilst you are walked down the train. Students pile out to look at you from their own carriages; some shocked, others smiling. You feel the world disappear around you as a wrenching feeling of falling takes you. Then you are no longer on the train, but outside the school gates with Avori as he silently gestures for the gates to open and walks you inside. Nothing is said for the longest time as you enter the castle and walk passed the double doors which lead to the great hall. Avori commands you to sit at the Ravenclaw tables as you see that he is pocketing your wand. He’s angrier than you’ve ever seen him. He has always been well mannered, jovial and nice to students. But now he is a shaking mess, breathing heavily as he paces back and forth. “DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU JUST DID?!”>Say nothing>No, sir, I-I don’t know what happened. >I’m sorry I didn’t mean to do it>He provoked me>other
>>24265009>No, sir, I-I don’t know what happened. Did we just use cruciatus without meaning to?
>>24265009>No, sir, I-I don’t know what happened. I can empathize, Millie. And as an aside, I think we intimidated the fuck out of him.
>>24265009>No, sir, I-I don’t know what happened.
>>24265048I think intimidation is the threat of retribution, not actually fucking his shit up
>>24265033Going with this. Shit was intense.
>>24264882I don' t think Bergle is dead.
>>24265071This is obviously a very bad situation, but we can lever it to our advantage. We will tell all authorities (truthfully) that we didn't mean to torture poor Chuck, and it will be determined that we were under the effects of a behaviour-altering spell. Meanwhile, other students won't believe it or won't care (aside from our ring of friends) and will avoid/be afraid of us. Assuming, y'know, that this isn't simply our antisocialness and other evil traits rising to the surface and tipping our hand.
>>24265009Aw man, we're missing Hogsmeade's and all the snacky happiness.
>>24265124It could very be our antisocial trait rearing its ugly head.
>>24265153That would be extremely bad, but manageable. Who wants to keep going to Hogwarts anyway?
>>24265153I don't think this has anything to do with being antisocial as it does with some bitch is imperiusing us for some reason, or at least I think that's whats happening.
This is what happens when you get nat 100's.
Mildred Hubble > Millicent Fauxly
>>24265216Go fucking figure.
>>24265216Would a natural 1 be us Crucio-ating the kid and getting away with it? Like "You fell down the stairs, got it?"
>>24265216Your natural affinity for the dark arts and antisocial trait combine to give you sudden wordless mastery of Crucio? Neat.
>>24265262It's cool and all but let's never use this again. it's really fucking dark magic
>>24265262Well... we're edgier than Raven, and I think that's pretty cool. Just wonder what's the punishment is going to be.
>>24265307How the hell did we learn it?
“N-no, sir!” you stammer, beginning to sob “I--don’t know—what--happened”You sit in the Great Hall in pained silence as you think back to the haze of what just happened. You felt a warmth and release, a security and control that you’ve never felt before take you in that moment. Whatever you did to Charles has left a want in the back of your mind for more, like tasting a sugary treat for the first time. Avori brandishes his wand and closes the doors and brings shuts the curtains, igniting the torches bracketed to the walls. He turns away from you for a moment. You think he’s going to shout again. His shoulders slump as he turns to you with tired eyes. “Millicent…” he trails, sitting on the other side of the table. “Do you realize what spell it was that you just used?” Roll 1d100 for lore. 40 or less wins.
>>24265354A life sentence in Azkhaban, obviously.
Rolled 39>>24265369How do any spells come into being?? We probably just re-invented it.There is a reason we're ravenclaw after all>>24265397
>>24265407I would be okay if this turned into Azkhaban Quest.>>24265416Yay?
>>24265454I just love your close calls, mang. I just love them.
>>24265549Know something stupid? I actually roll like this in real life
>>24265453>Azkhaban Quest. So it's us basically sitting in a little cage going insane as the Dementors patrol around our little plot of safety? They don't give you personal time at Azkaban.Or do you mean, being Millicent, aged 51, finally being allowed out of Azkaban after our case is finally reviewed and we are cleared of our charges, stepping out into an unrecognizable world, both Wizarding and Muggle?
Rolled 46>>24265589>Or do you mean, being Millicent, aged 51, finally being allowed out of Azkaban after our case is finally reviewed and we are cleared of our charges, stepping out into an unrecognizable world, both Wizarding and Muggle?Fucking hell I'd played the shit out of this.
>>24265589No. We sit there for ten minutes, get bored, make a deal with the Dementors, then teach everyone how they were wrong about us by killing and enslaving everyone who opposes us.That'll teach 'em to think we're evil.
You know exactly what spell you used. You’ve heard your mother and father talk about them from time to time due to his working in the ministry. The topic of dangerous spells in any Wizarding pureblood family comes up from time to time, much in the way muggles discuss their lawnmowers. “It’s the cruciatus curse, sir” you say“And you knew what you were doing?”“No, sir, I wasn’t thinking”You tell him your side of the story about how you acted on instinct, how it felt like it wasn’t even you in control, though you wouldn’t dare say it you know at the end of the day that it was all you. No outside influence this time. “Why are you determined to get yourself into trouble? Do you like acting out?” >No sir>All this is happening to me, I don’t mean for it to happen>other
>>24265682>All this is happening to me, I don’t mean for it to happen
>>24265682>No sirNot at all...^
>>24265682>I don't like acting out, but I won't let others walk all over me. I just want to be left alone.
>>24265682>otherHe was calling me names sir.
>>24265682> otherI don't even know any more. Feels like I'm crumbling down from the inside out.
>>24265682>All this is happening to me, I don’t mean for it to happen"No matter how I try to avoid it, it seems like the world tries to go after me, no matter how much I try to hide. "This is just like our trip to Cambodia."Also, does this feel concerning to anyone?>Students pile out to look at you from their own carriages; some shocked, others smiling. >others smilingWere we being set up?
>>24265752>Were we being set up?Either that, or he's already managed to become rather unpopular with certain people.
>>24265733Seconding this. If we can't wriggle out of it, go for the insanity plea.
>>24265752Nah. Some people feel justified from watching some else fall down into the gutter. Its human nature.
>>24265767He's a slytherin. no shit he's unpopular with people
>>24265733I like this.

Paranoid Bro Reporting for duty. >No Sir
>>24265682"In my first year at Hogwarts, my parents have slowly begun disowning me, my head has been messed with, a professor murdered and impersonated the headmaster, and attempted to murder me, only I accidentally killed him instead, and I don't know how I'm supposed to feel about any of this and Ican't bring myself to completely trust the only people who seem to care about me. I... I don't know what I'm supposed to do."
>>24265827I'd like a number one with fries, please
>>24265852Ooooh, this is good. It has my vote.
>>242658271!Pretty sure Millicent's due a good panic/stress breakdown soon, hopefully with Maud around for comfort.

Report in, how's it going sofa->torturing fatties>succumbing to dark desireshuehuehue
>>24265852In the interests of deciding this more quickly (and also implying that someone was controlling us) I switch my vote to this.
"In my first year at Hogwarts, my parents have slowly begun disowning me, my head has been messed with, a professor murdered and impersonated the headmaster, and attempted to murder me, only I accidentally killed him instead, and I don't know how I'm supposed to feel about any of this and I can't bring myself to completely trust the only people who seem to care about me. I... I don't know what I'm supposed to do."Avori doesn’t say a word as his youthful features contort in concentration. Slowly, he reaches into his pocket and delicately sits your wand back onto the table. “Millicent, I’m sorry” he says “I feel I have failed you as a teacher and as head of your house. If I had paid more attention to your plight I might have better intervened. You’re in trouble Millicent but I will do what I can to help you. No one should have had to go through what you are, follow me”Avori takes you by the hand and leads you out of the Great Hall and through the castle till you arrive in his study. He sits you down in the corner of the room as he sits at his desk and pens a letter. >Who are you writing to, sir?>Say nothing>Ask what he is going to do with you. >other
>>24266227>torturing fattiesWe haven't laid a curse on fatty. He doesn't even have a name yet. Charles is the leader of the Slytherins in our carrige, his friends are fatty and the stunning grandma.
>>24266269>Ask what he is going to do with you. Am I going to azkaban now?
>>24266273fatty and the stunning grandma. I'll never give them real names now.
>>24266269Oh god I feel so bad for everyone.Except for Charles, little asshole had it coming.>Who are you writing to, sir?Unless someone has a better idea.
>>24266269Please don't tell my parents.
>>24266269>Ask what he is going to do with you."Am..will I be sent to Azkaban, sir? "My parents, they always spoke of it, as where witches and wizards who used dangerous spells were sent."
>>24266269he's writing a stern letter to our parents, they will be forced to intervene, lest they get ridiculed in their social circle. They'll take us back on break (bye bye oliviacation), and then will keep us closed in the manor with some bullshit illness. Our freedom is ended.>Ask what he is going to do with you"Do I belong to Azkaban now? I used an unforgivable curse, but.. I don't... "
>>24266269>>Who are you writing to, sir?>Ask what he is going to do with you. If there's anyway to get out of this with just a slap on the wrist, I'll take it.
>>24266300It would be nice to find out more about them eventually, they might have potential as characters. Especially fatty.
>>24266269whoops, also ask who's e writing to.>Who are you writing to, sir?>Ask what he is going to do with you. Probably calling the aurors on us
>>24266398Man, the Aurors JUST finished going over us for Bergle's death.
>>24264524reading threadOH FUCK WHAT THE
>>24266269is he.. is he setting up a Parent-Teacher conference?oh. My god. This isn't happening.maybe we should just build a treehouse in the forbidden forest and never come out, noone will look for us there.
>>24266366> It would be nice to find out more about them eventually, they might have potential as characters. Especially fatty.Oh... hello, Newman... Remember me? Millie? The bitch that almost shredded your brains from the inside? How are you doing as of late?
>>24266446God people probably think we're a HUUGE bitch.
>>24266419perfect, so they don't have to brief someone new. They can come and sweep us up.How did we at eleven cast an unforgivable curse? Did we have that much hate inside to actually hurt someone with Crucio? Harry barely managed to hurt Bellatrix after she killed Sirius, so we must be quite madinside to have that effect. There's something rotten in Hogwarts.
>>24266473Well, there's all the trauma from nearly being killed by Bergle (when we were crucio-ing, Rowling mentioned us feeling 'in control'). And I wasn't here for the character creation, but apparently we got a bunch of bonuses to being an evil murdering witch.
>>24266473>Anti-Social, Dark Arts Mastery, Hexer, and died by a curse from Cambodian dark wizards who the Thai Muggle military deploys at the rumor ofYeah, we've got a lot of stuff bottled inside.
>>24266502>apparently we got a bunch of bonuses to being an evil murdering witch. And how!
>>24266502We're not inherently evil, or bad for that matter, but we have aptitude(bonuses) for Dark Arts and Intimidation. (also, we're pretty intelligent and very hardy, we can take hits.
>>24266522I ALWAYS forget about the Cambodian dark wizards.
>>24266502>>24266522well this could be an explanation... but even that, casting a spell without saying the name? in first year? We must be a prodigy! we must be better than Joel!let's hope Avory doesn't put us in a special need class with all the other "gifted" (read: cursed) kids.
>>24266540I never much liked that bit of backstory. But I'm rolling with it anyway.
>>24266540Very cunning, Cambodian Dark Wizards. They always attack when you least expect it.
“Who are you writing to, sir?” you ask in a meek little voice. “The new Headmaster” he says, choosing not to elaborate. Several minutes pass as Avori continues to scratch away at the piece of parchment, folding it, putting it into an envelope then sealing with hot wax. “Wait here and don’t touch anything till I return” Avori leaves his study, closing the door behind him, letter in hand. Roll 1d100.
Rolled 40>>24266572Please tell me this isn't a willpower roll not to touch things.
Rolled 83>>24266572don't fail us now, Cambodian Dark Dices
>>24266594i really hope it is, because we failed miserably :D
>>24266572>Natural 100We crucio him when he comes back.
>>24266562You best not be dissing the Cambodian Buddhist Black Magic monks. No, seriously, I did the research. Cambodian black magic is descended from Tibetan Buddhist magic. Probably why it's so potent and it scares the shit out of everyone else in SE Asia
>>24266583Well. Don't be discouraged to roll again next time. It just isn't our day.
>Pureblood>Kill count:1teacher>if we count the house elf, total kc is 2> Instinctively executed a Cruciatus succesfully>Pic relatedThis nigga knew, he fuckin saw it coming. When do we start our DARK cult?I nominate NightRavens as a name.
>>24266635It is really bad juju.
>>24266583Seems like we failed the roll for not touching things.
>>24266660When did we kill a House Elf?
>>24266660I wonder where that dark every art anon went.
>>24266671When we caused the fire tht nearly burnt down the Forbidden Forest.
>>24266671In the forest.
>>24266660we'll cross that bridge when we get to it, for now we need to maintain

>>24266671When we accidentally crit incendiod most of the forbidden forest
>>24266671When we also instinctively cast a high-level fire spell....Does Hogwarts have a guidance councilor?
>>24266572Don't even fucking move Millicent! Only breathe when necessary.
>>24266671Speaking of house elves. Whatever happened to that one we talked to and then tasked with bringing us Sam Cat?
>>24266708I don't think we burnt most of it.The Forbidden Forest is fuckhuge.
>>24266717...Shit maybe we have the same natural aptitude as Joel.
>>24266725Still cat-hunting I guess.
>>24266725Soup?Yeah, guess finding Sam-cat is harder than we thought.
>>24266677I miss him.He would be joyous now, if he was here.;_;>>24266708>crit incendiod
>>24266759i do too bro, i do too.but i think we have a good balance of do-gooders and ne'er-do-wells to make millie come across as an actual person.
Whoa, we dark wizard now harry...I think we seem to have some unexplored magical font inside of us. I mean, it's happened twice now that we instinctively cast a super powerful/advanced spell when we got riled up.>also rooting for NightRaven cult. Completely out of character, I know, and not bloody likely, but a man can dream, can he not.
You sit alone within Avori’s office and think over what’s going to happen next. A new headmaster, with your luck he’ll be worse than the last. CRACK.A the study rumbles for a moment, a couple books fall from their shelves, and two yellow eyes look directly into yours. “Meow”It’s a ginger tom. You notice to thin little arms have it embraced in a hug. Two little feet backtrack to reveal Soup holding the cat, peering over its head. “Miss Fauxly! I’m back!”>This really isn’t a good time!>You found it!>other
>>24266856Out of character? A few decades in Azkhaban will sort that out.

>>24266933Going with this.
>>24266881...This could be just what we needed. Having our house elf friend find the kidnapped student could cancel out that we appear to be a natural born villain."Thank you Soup!, Now quick, can you tell if it's really just a cat, or just something made to look like one? Because if it is merely a pet, could you get out of here for now?"

What do you think about gang?We just tortured a bully before their eyes. Are they okay with that?I think Joel-Nigel would support the action, but Olivia would take it hard. Also we kinda became Drama Queen, they are constantly overwhelmed by the batshit crazy events that orbites us.
>>24267764I don't think any of them except joel wil be okay with it. joel doesn't seem to care strongly about anything so he's just gonna ignore it
>>24267764Right now i honestly think we're risking alienating them. Im ok with that though, just something else to roleplay through.>go down to roberts tree later with a book, if he's not around we can chill out and try to collect our mind.
“This really isn’t a good time!” you whisper at the top of your lungs “Come back later!”Soup drops the cat and jumps up onto Avori’s desk, knocking over an inkwell. “Has Soup not done as he was commanded?” “Yes! You did everything right but you have to leave now!”“Why?”You think you’re going to have a heart attack. “Because I’m not in a good position to talk to you right now”The ginger tom jumps up onto your lap and starts to purr. “So…is this Sam?”Soup stains him left side in ink and sees to wiping it off with several sheets of parchment. “Do you mean is that a boy?” says Soup “Then yes it is”>Thank you so much! But you have to go!>Change him back!>Take him with you and go to my dorm!>other

>>24267930Thank you so much, but can you change him back in one piece?
>>24267930I think this is just what we need to help convince people that we aren't destined to one day kill them all.
>>24267930>You did everything rightI dunno, I think we explicitly told him to take the cat to our dorm when he found it and not just show up right in the most inconvenient moment possible. And why the fuck is he wiping the ink off with parchment when he's a house elf with magic cleaning powers? Seems like he's deliberately trying to sabotage us here. Or maybe my paranoia's acting up again.
Do not ask the elf to change him back, let a teacher do it, elf will just fuck it up.
>>24267930"Leave him here, meet me at the dorm later."We should have Aviori change him back.
Finished the first page of the big fight!Supposed to be from Millie seeing inside the ball to Berg first expelliarmus.Page 2 soon when I actually start it
>>24268056Going with this then.
>>24268061Good workIt is a bit small though.
Let's run through the pros and cons of showing Avori sam:>Pros>Cons
>>24268123>ConsWe might have to explain how we got the idea Sam's that cat, potentially revealing our excursion to the forest to Avori.
