"Ah, yes. Tomoko. I'm afraid this isn't a social visit. I came to deliver a warning to you two about an enemy Servant. The other night, I went to inspect an area I had suspected as being used to summon a Servant when we were attacked. During the conflict it was observed that they managed to procure and set up traps with excessive speed, and the one time I managed to catch a glimpse of it, it seemed to be brown and yellow. Beyond that, all I can tell you is the class name. Monster." You explain."Monster?" Tomoko asks curiously."Yes. It's not one of the standard classes, so I can't be certain as to what the class is like, but I imagine it's somewhat like Berserker in certain fashions." You tell her."That would be my guess as well." Assassin adds softly, her eyes dark and steely, "Now, we need a plan to deal with them.""...Do you think we could ally with them?" Tomoko wondered aloud. What do?
>>24078979I'm wondering of we could send a fake Servant as a messenger to the summoning circle, asking for a truce... Anyone else agree?
I dont think allying with a master who summons monster is wise or even possible. They attacked us, we must retaliate.
>>24079092I thought we were going for discreet?
Previous Thread: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/23949347/Status Sheet: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1vgCmTOBG9ATZzTFVKJpUr_MDHOcv5L09qdAA9BP1M_s/edit?pli=1Story only Posts: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1i9TLrQkahOhhqEeuWMT1DH3QaH4_IM69DFl_79eb3os/edit?pli=1
>>24079092Actually, we stuck our nose in their territory first.I wouldn't risk one of our cute subordinates either. create a steel golem homunculous to messenger. face, legs, no arms or weaponry spells in it. If we want to play along with truce option.
>>24078979"I somehow doubt it Tomoko. There are two possibilities, either someone is twisted enough of a person that they naturally summoned Monster, or they decided to break the system to get Monster, which is against the rules. Neither possibility really makes an alliance a good idea."
>>24079131Stick a note on it:>TRUCE Y/N
>>24079144They could have used an item Monster had as a catalyst.
>>24079161Which means that they decided to break the system and summon someone classified as Monster.
>>24078979I'm not sure an alliance is wise or even possible. Alliances in a grail war are usually confined to two people for a reason. More allies means more potential sources for backstabbing and Monster has presence concealment like our current ally does.In all, we need more information before that becomes an option. We must learn more of our enemy.>>24079144An excellent point, but what does that say about us? Who cold summoned the face of evil? Then again it does make a bit of sense. You get a bro, but not always the way that'd be obvious. We don't let things like "Culture", "Emotion", or "Tradition" get in the way of our logic. How fitting it is then, that we summon a being for whom such concerns are utterly alien?
>>24079144Also Monster isn't necessarily a bad person, our only in universe example is Ryougi Shiki, who i think is a heroic person? never read Kara no kyokai, or watched it, or whatever, so i don't know for sure.
>>24079193The might very well be a nice person. But making Tomoko think that we're the only one she can ally with is good.>>24079192Oh yeah, we've got issues as well, we're just better at hiding them.
>>24079144Going with this.>>24079193No, she's a killer who avoids killing, and her alignment is somewhere near "Don't give a fuck." She's not really that heroic.
>>24079233>>24079144So, besides just telling her no what else is your plan?
>>24079193Considering this may be a clusterfuck of crossovers, I think this fits the description of Monster.
>>24079290I suggest we tell her to focus on finding Monster's identity, or it's Master's identity, above all others.
>>24079290We need to get information on this enemy and she needs to up her defenses against stealth. Also, ask her if our description rings any bells for her. Our servant isn't out of the history books, but from anime and manga, that is, HER area of expertise.
>>24079327as does this person.
>>24079327Problem is Tao doesn't use traps. It has to be a git that loves to use traps. She was guarding that leyline, if there were traps there before we would have set them off. We didn't, meaning they got set after we left. I doubt assassin wouldn't notice a master trapping the area around her so it's the servant.>>24079411I'm pretty sure a meguca can take a 2hu.
>>24078979>What do?"Considering Monster's first reaction was overwhelming violence, I doubt they'd be willing to sit down and chat without a very good reason. For now just make sure not to let your guard down, since you aren't the only Master with a stealth-capable Servant anymore. Believe me, being in the receiving end of Presence Concealment is not a pleasant experience.">>24079327OH SON OF A BITCH
>>24079432UNLESS ITS MASTER IS SNEAKIER THAN WE ARE
>>24079466We can't say that, we didn't tell coobie about that incident because he just might go off on his own and off our ally because he judges her too dangerous to leave alive. If you don't know who or what he is go and watch Puella Magi Madoka Magica. He's a direct analogue to the fucking devil!Yeah, we don't trust him, at all.
>>24079519And coobie also isn't in the room at the moment, so there is no problem. Plus, it could just be a reference to when she nearly ganked us the first time we came here.We need to get some kind of dig in at Assassin, because I'll be damned if we just roll over and take her bullshit.
>>24079114Retaliation can very well be discreet. But first, intelligence. I support sending a messenger, something more disposable than our Magical Girls. The golem sounds nice, if possible.Once we have intelligence, a joint strike with Assassin is recommended, to gauge their ability if nothing else.
>>24079519We can trust that he will mostly tell the truth. At worst, he will lie through omission to us unless we ask specific questions. However even then he will give technically true, but ambiguous, answers.
>>24079589He is a genie from space.
>>24079589That is correct yes. We need to grill him on what he'd use the grail for. Also, OP, we will be getting servant dreams at some point if we live long enough right? I think they start around the 2nd or 3rd day after you summon them.
>>24079566I would like to note, that if we can manage to positively identify the master, we now have the option of, you know, shooting them while they go about mundane business.
>>24079638His wish it to turn all of the world's little girls into Magical Girls
"Somehow, Tomoko, I don't think that someone like Monster would make a good ally. To begin with, to summon someone like Monster would mean they either broke the rules or there's something wrong with them. As well, you are no longer the only pair with Presence Concealment." You point out."But...what if they're just misunderstood? Like Assassin-neechan." Tomoko asked."The chances are slim, at best. But, we do need more information. I plan to make a metal homonculus later and send it out to investigate. If you want, have a message prepared for tonight." You warn her."Alright. See you later then." Tomoko says as you stand to leave. Assassin escorts you and Saber out."As well, I apologize for earlier, Assassin. I had known you for long, and you are the Assassin class and so it seemed unwise to risk drinking the tea. I hope we can put this behind us?" You apologize. Assassin looks you up and down carefully."We'll see how this situation with Monster plays out." Assassin replied softly before disappearing. With a sigh, you head home to design and build that golem.Go the peaceful route. Simple, humanoid golem.Go prepared for stealth. Small, nimble, light. Quick, dark.Go prepared for a scuffle. Weapons for arms, spikes on the body.Go Iron Man. Incorporate your firearms into it. Unleash lead.
>>24079638Yes, Servant Dreams are possible as time passes.
>>24079700Sweet Jesus, what choices.I suggest we go it simple, but make one of each during freetime, starting with Stealthy, just in case.
>>24079700War Machine that bitch. They won't be expecting non-magic weapons. I say we put the AR15 into it, keep the AK for our own use.
>>24079700 Go Peaceful, Armored and giant Shield Arms.
>>24079700>[x]Go prepared for stealthHe didn't even try to talk. I want something that'll dodge the first hit and give us a good look at our assailant before it bites it. Was tempted to go Iron Man, but that tips our hand and takes away our guns. Can't have that this early.
>>24079700Oh god Tomoko, what the everliving fuck are you doing in this War with an attitude like that? I mean holy shit.>[X]Go prepared for stealth. Small, nimble, light. Quick, dark.If we kit it out for MURDER Tomoko might get all pissy (plus even a combat golem will just get obliterated by a Servant), and if the golem survives we'll be able to use it for recon in the future.
>>24079791I know right? She lucked out, HARD, when she met us. She'd be dead by tomorrow if it wasn't for us. Honestly, we might have to give her the talk. Pic related.
Can we, at the least, try to hide the pistol in there? It could be useful as a tool of subtle assassination.
>>24079846Agreed, but wait for a suitably dramatic moment so we don't just come off as a dick. Also, goddamn Hazama, best villain ever.
>>24079848Kinda need that one for ourselves when we're out in public. Get a good concealment holster for it. We also need to steal kevlar and weave it into a jacket. We need armor to go along with our weapons.>>24079862I agree with that as well. And yes, Hazama was a great villain. The scene where he delivers the line I posted. Fucking. Epic.
>>24079907Dammit, I just want a metal death machine.
>>24079939We can just make one in our freetime. No need to do everything at once.
>>24079939We can always steal more guns. Patience, you will have your heavy metal golem, the Bringer of Pain and Bullets, soon enough.
>>24079955>>24079979Very well. Lets gather our intelligence and send this damn Golem in.
You spend several hours carefully crafting a small, light golem. All in all, its about a foot and a half tall, crafted out various bits of steel you had lying around and with a small mana generator built into its center. Its an updated version of a design you'd used before for making your generators more mobile. With but a thought and a large drain of your prana, the golem activates. It cocks its head left and right quickly and its body seems to ripply and shimmer a bit as it fades through colors quickly. After a moment the glow in its eyes dims and its magical presence disappears even while right next to you. The only way you can tell it's still active is because of your familiar connection to it. With an errant thought, it reactivates and runs out through the door, startling your Assassin. It bounds through the city, at one point getting caught in a strange bank of fog that made it difficult for you to communicate with it before it broke through and stopped in the brush outside of the burnt out school. How do you want to do this? What are your priorities?
>>24079700>Go the peaceful route. Simple, humanoid golem.Either that or stealth. And if that fails and the Master and/or Monster attacks it, I have a morally-grey back-up plan to gather information: Allow me to remind you guys that we have thousands of magical girls at our disposal and the morally grey option of sending them off to their deaths in a suicide mission to try and learn about Monster. The best use of this at the moment would be to summon another meguca, either as Saber or Lancer, and send her out to fight Monster. We of course avoid telling our new meguca it's a suicide mission. Using the spell to see through our Servant's eyes (If we know it), have QB link us to whatever magical girl we send out after Monster while our other megucas go into spiritual form to lessen the burden on QB. QB will buff the meguca on her mission, and hope she can injure Monster, or find out who Monster is or what it's NP are.If Monster kills our meguca, we at least got some information out of it.If our meguca wins and injures Monster, we either have her press and finish off Monster or have QB let her dissipate to remove the burden on him. QB mentioned before he was uncomfortable supporting two megucas. Keeping a third around won't make things any easier for us.If she does manage to kill Monster, we swoop in and steal the ley line for Caster and/or us to use to power the megucas and keep our newly summoned meguca. If we need to explain how our newly summoned meguca died to our Saber and Assassin, we have QB tell them that she died before she could make it back to us (which is technically true, so QB would have no qualms about saying such.)
>>24080109Remain undetected, gather intelligence. Once we know whats there, we decide more actions.
>>24080109I would prioritize staying hidden and rouse as little suspicion as possible.
>>24080109Remain covert, gather intel. Ideally we should get a better look at Monster or its Master, get a clue as to their identities.
>>24080109Strange fog? Yep, it's Jack's NP. Fucking. Shit.Stay hidden, gather as much information as possible without arousing suspicions.
Polite reminder to put "quest" in your quest thread subjects
>>24079193Another example is arcuied, they aren't the dumbest of people unlike bersekers but still have unmatched strength. Our psuedo servants don't seem super strong either and caster is weak overall. Also, can you update anything on our psuedo servants or?
>>24080185At least we know we have backup.
>>24080189>baaaaaaaaaaw i cant tolerate ever seeing something i dont likeHow's that autism?
>>24080227Leave it. We don't need that kind of shitstorm.
>>24080211Each meguca can use magic to a certain extent and has one special power. That power can be broken like Homura's. Also, unless the soul gem is destroyed they can't die and thus have what is essentially EX battle continuation. There's only one spot that you need to hit. Until you hit it, they aren't dead.>>24080212That we do. Potentially tons of backup. It's nice to have an army of Magical Girls at your back.
>>24080211You have stats now for your psuedo-servants. Working on writing the next part.
With a mental command, you send your scout into the school house cautiously. As it steps into the building everything turns dark rather quickly, no light seeming to penetrate in. Part way, you feel the familiar get caught on some small string and suddenly there's vertigo as the golem gets pulled off of its feet and flung some distance away. After a moment to reorient, the homunculus scurries back against a wall and into a corner. Your familiar is detecting that it's now walking in at least a foot of water, getting slightly deeper as it moves in one direction and shallower in another.???
>>24080351We have to go deeper.
>>24080351Dive my familiar. We must find the source.
>>24080351Golem, this is a solo sneaking mission! Now scout that water!
You urge the golem forwards, and it manages to push itself through the deepening water. Soon, it is in over its head, slowly moving along the floor. It's slow going, and you bump into a few walls occasionally, but soon you see a small spot of light ahead. You can also hear some muffled noises that might be voices, but you can't tell.Approach the lightHang back.Write in
>>24080351Well we hit a trap so we know that we're in the right place. We have our megucas and QB watching our back as we focus on controlling the golem right? Also, whaddya mean NP:N/A? All the girls had a big fuckhuge final attack they could use. Trio Finale, Kyoko's giant-size spear attack, Sayaka's own version of UBW... They get access to them if QB buffs them right?
>>24080563Go toward the light! it has never failed before.
>>24080572Those are just some of their skills, not necessarily a Noble Phantasm. Occasionally, a powerful Magical Girl might have something noteworthy. Basically, if its named it might be a Noble Phantasm. Sayaka's swords are just swords, so they're just a skill or ability, not an NP. Kyoko's spear? Might be a Noble Phantasm. It's on the line, because she never really named it. Mami did. Homura's Shield might be an NP, but only because of its history. Also, Servants with NPs are more intensive to maintain than those without.
>>24080563>[X]Approach the lightLight, tell me your secrets!
>>24080563Move forwards. Carefully. Observe, do not interact.
>>24080563[X]Approach the light
>>24080563Might as well go into the light and kiss our golem goodbye. Nice knowing ya buddy. Also, need to get that generator for QB built so we can post a lookout on our shit ASAP. Not sure if Lancer or Archer would be best. Archer's good at seeing things coming, but Lancer's better at defending once they actually get there.>>24080632Thanks for clarification. QB's saving the big guns for later in the war it seems. Smart move, we'd have done the same.... Is anyone else disturbed by the fact that MC and QB are pretty much bros?
>>24080563Approach the light enough to make out the noises, but do not give away your position. Move slowly.
>>24080685>anyone else disturbed by the fact that MC and QB are pretty much bros?If you aren't a little girl who values her eternal soul, Coobie is a pretty bro guy with the whole "working tirelessly to save the universe from destruction" thing.
>>24080713Allies of convenience. We should emulate his amoral disregard for allies. With Tomoko.
>>24080685He has a goal, and so do we. That they coincide means we're going to work together. Once it's goal diverges the command seals can be used to erase its existence.
Another mental nudge and the golem moves forward slowly. The ground seems to shift slightly as move forward, but it still feels solid. Its almost like the wood is warped and curved underneath your golem. As you approach you can pick up some of the words being said."...could have sworn...tripped...gone.""...paranoid...enough, so don't..."There's a tense moment as the golem moves slightly forward to listen and suddenly your above the water standing in a small island of dry wood floor surround by water on all sides. A young man is standing in the center of the area with a torch light, looking up into the shadows above his head where you can see...something hanging amongst an abundance of silvery threads. What do?
Bah, forgot image
>>24080713No, he ain't. He's the devil incarnate! It's what makes him so creepy. I hope we learn a bit about things like compassion from Tomoko. I know what the base effect of his wish will do, but I don't know the how. The how is what scares me. I don't want to be a party to Madokami's death...>>24080747See, I only want him "mostly" amoral, not totally amoral like our boy. Like the fellow pictured here. Us not having a heart isn't "entirely" true.
>>24080832If only we gave it the pistol...Continue to observe. If discovered tempt communication.
>>24080832Can we remotely detonate the golem? If we can get it to go face-hugger and detonate.
>>24080832Continue lurking, see what we can see.
>>24080875Continue stealth, if caught reenact Star wars, "master of monster, tidings of not-war and such."
>>24080875Well, then you would have had to keep the gunpowder dry during the water trek
>>24080847And I think, ideally, that we should make Tomoko trust us completely. Easiest path to this is likely romancing her. Then her naive, lonely nature leave her utterly at our mercy.
>>24080943I like your style.Bonus points of we can maneuver Assassin into sacrificing herself without us getting blamed for it.
>>24080943Haha no. That's not happening.
>>24080965Is that for the eventual betrayal or the romancing? I am not against the latter, but heavily against the former.
>>24080932A gun can fire after going underwater thanks to the wonder of self-contained cartridge ammunition! In fact, you can even fire one shot underwater. The problem is that there won't be enough force to cycle the weapon you you'd have to re-cock it after every shot. And after that first shot it going off isn't guaranteed. I ain't from /k/, but I do know a bit of gun lore.>>24080943See that's the kind of thing I want to avoid. I'm not against romancing her or anybody, but I want to do it because we kind of like her, not because she is useful to us and is a better dupe if we give her the dick.
>>24080997Well if Assassin bites the dust, betraying her won't be strictly necessary. Although intentionally getting Assassin killed would certainly constitute a betrayal in her mind, so we've got to be sneaky about it.
>>24080962We will go far, friend..>>24080965Why? Morals? We need to think purely about the best path to victory. Tell me my plan is flawed.
>>24081035Your plan is flawed. that was easy.Though if i wasn't a moralfag i'd be okay with your approach.
>>24081082Well, I m satisfied. At least you admit it.I will be here, the appointed voice of amoral practicality. Ignore at your peril.
>>24080841Has no one noticed its electric Chinese Batman?
>>24081035 If she is in love she becomes that much more manipulable for others who know of the relationship. Keep it at the level of friendship and she will still listen, but try and go beyond that and her actions will no doubt become unpredictable and more importantly dangerous.
Very, very slowly you have your Golem try and remain out of sight, but you can already tell that you've been noticed as the shadows seem to darken and the strings pull into themselves. It's then that you notice that the threads seem to be draped down, into the water, a small current carrying them away on the surface. The young man is staring down at your homunculus with a cautious eye. "Monster?" He says uncertainly."Told you." A feminine voice says smugly from above. Your golem twitches slightly, causing the Master to tense up. The golem's mouth creaks open, and a distorted version of your voice comes out."We come unarmed. We wish to speak." You say quickly."Then speak." Monster says from above.???
>>24081144"Why do you seek the grail?"
>>24081035If she had a knight class you'd be right. She has assassin. So I'm not ok with that plan as it sticks us with assassin instead off a Saber or Archer. Ya can't really swing a harem end in a Grail War, gotta keep the Dick route open for more worthy pastures.I'm also a huge moralfag and thus against the thing in principle, but can put a blunt on it for purposes of storytelling.
>>24081159Really? Request a parley.
>>24081144"We do not desire to fight... or at least would rather postpone our battle until later. In the meantime, want to be frenimes?"We don't have to trust or like each other, but we can still work together.
>>24081165That would give us extreme indirect Combat ability, which fits our style well.Manipulating her is still the best option. At least intrigue her through flirtation.
>>24081211alternatively"What is your name? What is your favorite color? What is the Airspeed of an Unladen Swallow?"
>>24081190A simple question. If it's something that can be done without magic they may be persuaded into a truce.
>>24081144"I wish to know why you seek the grail. All alliances are logically doomed to end in betrayal in this war. In the event I am slain I want to be sure that I'm not a party to turning this world into a living hell. In the event your wishes are satisfactory I'd like to propose an alliance. This war is not as it should be given previous history. Something is wrong, the fact you have the class "monster", a class that shouldn't exist, is proof of this."Lay it all out. We are logical, we are seeking to unravel this mystery. We must give them the proper impression of who we are. And we might have more info than he does. This ought to intrigue him if that is the case.>>24081118Noticed it right off the bat. Too bad Assassin class is already taken by Murder McBitchtits.
>>24081144Ask about the summoning circle, try to find out if it's his. Don't mention anything about your Assassin who was guarding the place, try to see how much they figured out on their own. Also, get a good look at both of them, see if they have some distinctive features to show you who they are.
>>24081144This >>24081256Sounds nice, doesn't give anything away, might get them to drop some info in their answer.
>>24081322I agree. Its logical, acknowledges the reality of the situation, is not moral prattling. I support this.
>Yellow/Brown clothing>Is a lady>LIkes using traps (like snares, and shit, not bailey jay)>possibly involving lots of strings?>also is a MONSTER class servant for some reasonDoes this ring any bells with anyone?
>>24081351It is in a sense. We don't want to win at any costs, in the ultimate end we just want to ensure the world will not become a hell. That takes some form of moralfaggotry. Not much, but some. Because we'd be dead, what would we care if the world goes to shit if we didn't care about those other people?
>>24081430Our final goal may well be noble, I have no issue with this, but if we try and remain clean of sin throughout this whole war we will end up as nothing more than a corpse. It is amusing how people deride Tomoko's attitude, and will hold views just as destructive to our chances.
>>24081457I know man, I posted the Hazama pic. I really can't argue with his logic, and neither should she. First chance we get that won't make us look like a total douche? She gets his speech. Why? Because he's fucking RIGHT!
"I wish to know why you seek the grail. All alliances are logically doomed to end in betrayal in this war. In the event I am slain I want to be sure that I'm not a party to turning this world into a living hell. In the event your wishes are satisfactory I'd like to propose an alliance. This war is not as it should be given previous history. Something is wrong, the fact you have the class "Monster", a class that shouldn't exist, is proof of this." You explain. The young man glances up into the shadows slightly and shrugs."I'm doing it for her, really." He answers calmly, jerking his thumb up into the shadows."I'm doing it for my people. My Master, my family, my home. I want to help them all. Watch over them all." Monster replies from above, "I either need the grail for my Incarnation, or an immense source of power. If you can provide us with either of those you would have our alliance."???
>>24081496Oh, it would certainly improve her chances. I would even support it, I imagine she will very much appreciate us providing a reality check. Her obedience may even be strengthened by the act.
>>24081520"I have a means to create mana generators. Given time I could create a one on a large scale. Will that suffice?"
>>24081520Ask what kind of power she wants.
>>24081520Damn, we pretty much have to kill this one. I suggest we stay away from this one until we have something to offer them.Tell them we may, and will contact them later with a formal offer.
>>24081546inb4 "I got a mana generator, if you know what I mean."
>>24081561It seems you are assuming monsters=bad. Not all monsters are a threat to humans. Some only wish to live in peace.
>>24081589My point was the Master is devoted to the servant, and shares her goals. We will likely have to kill him if we cannot provide what she wants. I suspect it is more power than we can provide. I also suspect the creature is lying. I would.
GUYS, IDEA, IDEA!Does Coobie still have the capacity to grant Magical Girl wishes?Because we seem to have found a girl who needs a wish granted, and doesn't seem to have qualms about how she gets it.
>>24081638You magnificent nigger.I suggest we meet these two, and propose a contract.
>>24081520"Very well. My wish is to fuse the mundane with the magical, to show my methods are the true path to Akasha. I have already discovered the theory behind prana generators. Given time, money, and resources, I can envision the creation of a network that would allow a massive quantity of prana to be generated. In the event I attain my wish, that would happen much faster. But I must ask you, Monster, who are your people, your family, your home? That has many connotations, you must be more specific. If a wish to grant peace and freedom to your people is one that would bring ruin to humanity, I will be forced to stop you if I can. Above all, humanity must continue on in a way that does not spring from nightmares. So, if you will, tell me more."
>>24081638....that is a brilliant idea
>>24081256Doesn't stop him from being a ridicules master hell he is probably kiri tier
>>24081638That is as genius as it is horrifying. Unfortunately, if we stay in character we don't know that. We need more info from QB in order to logically make that offer. So we sadly can't do that yet. There are several different concievable versions of coobie. Is he from the show, or from Madokami verse? Do the megucas work in the same way? What did he offer? I could go on. We don't know in verse, so we can't go this gloriously evil and devious route yet.
>>24081667>You magnificent nigger>Reading this in Jameson Price's voice
>>24081638Would that really work? I mean, Servants are more or less souls. Would they just turn into a giant Soulgem?Either way, I'm backing this. Just ask QB if he an remotely detonate Soulgems before doing this.QB should get a small amount of Prana from the contract too, and even more if she witches out.Although fighting a Monster-servant turned witch won't be pleasant at all.
>>24081753>Although fighting a Monster-servant turned witch won't be pleasant at all. We've get Caster. Completely fucking up the entire War for everyone is a time-honored Caster tradition, and I'll be damned if we're the ones to break it.
>>24081638Im starting to think that monster is a spider girl. Just throwing that out there. Also magic girling monster is a fantastic idea
>>24081798In retrospect mentioning this made me realize it may be queelaagg or however you spell it from darksouls
>>24081741Then I suggest we end this parley on the note that we will come back with an offer, and ask Caster if he has anything we could offer her.In character this is a reasonable action, out of character it will likely make him bring it up. He will jump at the opportunity.
>>24081741Got it.>>24081520[X] Say we will have to talk it over with our Servant first, and we shall have an answer this time tomorrow. We shall send another familiar with our answer, and a neutral location if things go well.Talk to QB, explain what we saw, mention that She has a wish that she wants granted, and that she doesn't care how it happens, and probably won't have any interest in the grail after that. QB will probably bite, thus less metagaming than saying "Hey QB, You can grant wishes, right? Ignore how I know this before the dream cycle starts and I know almost nothing about you!"
>>24081843Nah, if it was Quelaag we would have noticed the FIRE AND LAVA EVERYWHERE.Also she's the size of a tank, and certainly not yellow and brown.
>>24081880You have my support, as you pretty much suggested exactly what I did.
>>24081787We already can.>Pfff, he's caster. We haven't given him time to prep and his stats are shit. He's toast, get'im saber!>We summon the horde of megucas.>What!? Impossible! The only servant that could possibly pull this is off is Rider and he's dead! How, how did you do this!>I have made contracts with thousands of girls for countless millenia. They swore their souls to me in exchange for a wish. I can summon them anytime I desire. It all makes logical sense, you simply didn't think hard enough about it.>We win.>>24081798I agree, unfortunately we can't logically make this offer in character. Above all, I want my story's to make sense! It won't make sense until we ask him and he answers in the according ways. Until then? We're just a bunch of weeaboos pretending to write a coherent story.
>>24081880Agreed. Tell them we'll get back to them later, and tell Caster what they said.
>>24081798Unless she learns the truth before we'd like her too. Remember, becoming a magical girl came with a massive boost in power level. If she uses that on us, given her already powerful stat sheet... Army of Meguca's might not be enough. Another Walpurgisnacht. We don't got enough generators to take that thing out.
>>24082014In the short term, she will be an ally.In the long term, QB will know how to go about ending her.
>>24082014That's why we ask QB if he can remotely detonate soulgems. Yes, he never used it in PMMM, but there really wasn't a need to do so.
"I have access to things such as Mana Generators. They're the result of some of my research. They may not be worth much now, but I have certain ways of increasing their output or even other possible alternatives." You explain, thinking of Caster, "As well, my wish is to fuse Magic and Technology, to get an intrinsic understanding of both. This would greatly enhance the generators I could produce. Do you think that such devices would be sufficient?""We would have to examine them, but there is potential there. Perhaps we can arrange a meeting for tomorrow night?" Monster suggests."Certainly. I can send a Familiar to meet you at the docks. My only concern, however, is what you mean by your people? Would they bring harm to humanity?" You reply."Not at all. My people and family are those men and women that I protected for many years. They are as human as you or Master." Monster replied."Very well. I shall meet you tomorrow." You say, With that, you have your familiar quickly retreat and pull your mind out of it as it makes its way back. Caster is resting easily in your lap but still awake, and Assassin is napping on a nearby couch. Saber is in the kitchenette, apparently cooking something."Ah, Master. I see you're awake. Did everything go well?" She asks."I think so. Caster, the servant Monster wishes to find some way to remain after the Grail War. She said either an immense amount of mana was needed, or the Grail could Incarnate her. Do you have anything that would help, or could you help me up the power on my generators?" You ask him. He cocks his head curiously as he thinks for a minute.~If she has enough potential, I can grant her a Wish. Or, if that fails, I may be able to assist you in your attempt at building a larger generator.~ Caster answers.Wish RouteTech RouteBothWrite inand until your meeting tomorrow, do you have any other plans for the daytime?
>>24082082>>24082082Wish, we can rely on tech later
>>24082082Tech Route.Any wish KB grants is doomed to torture the meguca.... lemme put it this way, she will witch out and she will fuck everyone's day. Also Nasuverse magic almost never helps, so there's two problems with this path
>>24082082[X]BothWish first, and if that fails we go Tech. We should be working on a large generator either way.
>>24082082Wish route, we need to use the advantages given us.As for the rest of the day, let's check in with Tomoko, and attempt to infuse our AK with magic.
>>24082032That might require a command seal. We only got 3. And we fucking need to keep ONE to ensure that fucker dies like he's supposed to to either A) Complete Heaven's Feel or B) Make sure he doesn't get his evil wish. He knows this shit on some level, he's planning on it. He wants us out of Seals by war's end. Our job is to make sure that doesn't happen.>>24082082>[X] Tech RouteAgain, I do NOT trust this fucker. And I do not want to be on the business end of Monster's wrath if/when she discovers the truth. Though do ask Caster what he means by "potential". Very intriguing IC.
>>24082082[X] BothWe try for the wish route for monster, but we keep building better generators for ourselves.
>>24082082Tech Route. We don't need this Monster becoming a Witch in the future. We shouldn't blindly make a meguca out of someone we don't even know about.
>>24082154Exactly my point. You get it anon.
>>24082082Wish only because we will also be able to summon her ourselves later on.
>>24082163This. I think some people fail to realize this effectively gives us limited summoning of Monster.
>>24082095>>24082105>>24082122>>24082163>>24082164You will regret this choice people. I swear you will. You obviously never watched the show. You'll make Walpurgisnacht.
>>24082189I have. I am aware. It is worth the risk.Fortune favors the bold. I am willing to take the risk to gain such a powerful tool.
>>24082082>[X]Wish RouteRemember guys, her turning into a super-witch would be a perfect way to lure the Knight classes out of hiding. What self-respecting Knight would remain hidden while a giant monster tears the city to pieces?
>>24082216Indeed.We ARE Caster's master.
Well, I'll leave you people to debate the pros and cons or try and convince each other to switch sides. I've got to change locations and move buildings. Be back on by the end of the house
>>24082117>>24082125>>24082154>>24082162>>24082189I understand your concern, and if we weren't QB's master I would support the tech route and wouldn't touch QB with a 10 foot pole. I would put all my effort in killing him, and go down fighting in the process. However, as Caster's master, a rather large part of me just wants to channel Urobutcher and every Caster in existance to break every rule in the Grail War and turn the war into an absolute shitfest.>>24082256Alright, I'll tally votes in the meantime.
>>24082189Remember when Caster summoned Cthulu in Fate/Zero, and all the Servants banded together to stop it?It'll be like that, except we can just watch from a safe distance and get delicious intel on the other Servants when they bust out their Noble Phantasms to deal with the threat.
>>24082256Well, now its just going to be samefagging, haha. Let's just tally votes and be done with it.
>>24082274This is exactly what I meant.
>>24082232>>24082274And what's cooler than sending little girls on suicide missions?!
>>24082267>>24082274Very Valid points, I now advocate using both routes, as either way this will be hilarious
>>24082313I still say we should make a large generator for ourselves.
>>24082333that much should be obvious
>>24082333I agree, but wish route in the immediate sense. We need to have an offer for Monster.
Switching my wish and later to tech to just bothget more mans and power while they all tire fighting our monster
>>24082306Good, morals are for losers. In this case, literal losers.I plan to win this Grail War.
>>24082350So do I, but I know Caster=Lucifer. If you trust him in any way beyond no lying to you somehow you are by definition a fool. He's "the prince of lies" for a reason.
>>24082395We're fine until he starts trying to trick us into burning Command Seals. As long as we have one, we hold all the cards.
>>24082395You think I trust anyone? The Wish route gives us the most power. Something we desperately need against the classes we have yet to meet. I dont trust QB, I dont trust Assassin, I dont trust our Magical Girls, I dont trust fucking Tomoko. They are all, every one of them, tools. I do not trust tools. I use intelligence to gauge their use, and act accordingly. When they no longer function as I require, they are thrown aside.Trust is no issue.
>>24082267If you desire to channel Urobutcher, then you are not my kind of person. I want happy endings, especially if we have to work for them. Gen don't roll like that.
>>24082474psycopass wasn't that bad
>>24082443This... Is why we disagree. I don't advocate trusting anyone yet (beyond trusting Assassin to stab us in the back the moment anything we do causes Tomoko even slight discomfort.) I do want to try for good ends for people who don't dick us over first, and generally be a good person, logical, paranoid, but good.
>>24082474I can accept that, to each his own. This quest just makes me want to have things go to hell in a handbasket.Either that, or it's because I've been listening to Sis Puella Magi ever since contracting Monster was first mentioned.
>>24082558Aye, and I will be here, advocating the shadowed path, and even if ignored I will be vindicated. This is a battle to the death. Compassion is a liability, manipulation is survival, morality is a fallacy.
>>24082443See that's where you're wrong. You can trust people and use them at the same time. You can trust them to respond to things, and you can trust them to hold onto their beliefs. Trust is needed if you intend to use people.
>>24082568Yuki Kajiura is a great composer, I'll give you that. But I hate, HATE when it goes there without any way out. QB is our boy, we aren't entirely heartless, this war ought end on at least a somewhat positive note. There is a path to the good, happy end. We just have to find it...>>24082599Morality is not a fallacy, but otherwise you are right. I like you Kotomine, as much as I hate you...
>>24082558Keep in mind a Coobie Contract might actually be preferable to a Grail Wish, if a certain All The Evils Of The World still has his butt parked firmly inside the Grail.
>>24082599And this is why I still like you, even when disagreeing with you entirely, no excuses, no 'but this' or 'what if that' You are who you are.But enough talk, have at you!
>>24082610You mistake expectation for trust.I expect Tomoko to be naive, I expect my gun to fire when I pull to trigger.I do not trust it so. Fools trust. There is never certainty. There is no trust without certainty.
>>24082711What of the Lord thy God?
>>24082082We should meet with Tomoko. Tell her that we might be able to ally with Monster. Tell her not to tip her hand and make the same attempt. Tell her that she allied with us first, and we value that. In the event they want us to kill her, we'll backstab them, HARD. First come, first serve. That's how we roll. She was our first ally, and we value that. Also, tell her we think she's pretty. I don't want to backstab her later, but I do like her type of character. Shy girls always get me hard, sorry.Plans within plans, plots within plots, betrayals within alliances... This is what the grail war is people. This is why it is such a glorious concept! We all want it, we all know where it all ends, and we play the game. It's awesome!
>>24082780Of Him, I know nothing. His intent, be it in my creation or the cruel humor of human morality, is beyond me. There can be no trust there, He is inscrutable.
>>24082827I support complimenting her. Builds loyalty. You know why I want to do that, but for now I believe even you moral knights can agree on this step.
I'm a little late to the party, as usual. I'm going to have to throw my vote into the tech basket. I want to conceal our full bag of tricks as long as possible. While the potential access to other people's servants is alluring, and if possible highly beneficial. the integrity of out stealth is more so.To point out I'm pretty sure we just set a meeting place by the docks. We need to let Tomoko's assassin deal with any killing, we already know we do not want her upset.
back, and writing the next part
>>24082842God, if nothing else, is "Omnibenevolent". That is why his concept, for if he does not exist there is only the concept, engenders loyalty. He could be the weakest thing in all existence. But if all his actions are for "the greater good" of all he is in a very real sense worthy of worship.>>24082862You ain't my type Kotomine, but you and I do seem to have similar thought patterns. I only want to bed her if we love her, yet I do see the point of doing so if we're just using her...
>>24082894Taking her Assassin, or even the lady herself, along would make it seem we're planning a betrayal. If she wants to find out about this let her, but we can't really bring her along without looking suspicious.
>>24082927I'm sorry I wasn't clear. Jack knows our location, this is just a thing I am considering a fact. If Jack is there by the docks when we do this deal and doesn't like it, we are dead.
>>24082894you, you get it. I went tech route for that reason. Can't tip our hand, especially before we have yet to see a team die yet. Assassin is our ally, if Tomoko sees it go down... She'll kill us. Can't trust Mephistophles, not now, not ever!
Rejoice, Emiya Shirou, and make a Contract! /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人＼
The next day you and Caster set to work on making a more powerful generator. He works quickly and skillfully, pointing out tiny flaws in your design as you work that you never would have noticed. Its almost frustrating, really, but the end result should be much more powerful than your normal generators. Assassin sneaks out at some point during the day, returing with groceries that Saber prepares into a decent meal. Night is falling, and you're nearing the time when you should send your Familiar to meet Monster and her Master. Part of you wonders as to whether or not you should warn Tomoko about this, her Assassin a worrisome problem. At the same time, if things don't work out, maybe it's best if you didn't warn her?Get in touch with Tomoko before the meeting goes downLeave her out of the loop for now
>>24083061>Get in touch with Tomoko before the meeting goes downDon't want assassin murdering us in our sleep.
>>24083061We talk with Tomoko. She, or Assassin, could interfere.
>>24083061>[X]Get in touch with Tomoko before the meeting goes downWe really have no way of knowing if Assassin is watching us at any given moment. Rather than leave it to chance, just assume she's always watching.
>>24083061[X]Get in touch with Tomoko before the meeting goes downGive her the bare minimum of details. She's not really part of this meeting.
>>24083061no need to trouble her with petty details, we are trying the route of diplomacy a no direct violence. This is what she wanted if it doesn't work out a least we can say we tried.
>>24083184On this we can agree. For vastly differing reasons.
>>24083184If Assassin's plan was to drive us into Tomoko's sweet embrace because we're too terrified to ignore her and risk pissing her off, its working marvelously.
>>24083203Tomoko seems innocent and vulnerable. We would be foolish not to exploit this, Assassin will not act against her wishes. If Assassin intended this, I would hope she will come to regret it.
>>24083192Once a priest, always a priest.
>>24083061http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2Chwj5JEwwWe must tell her of our potential alliance with monster's master. They don't know whom we've already cut a deal with first. Again, plots within plots. She was there first. We value her cooperation above his. We won't backstab her, we'll front-stab her because of that right. She was first, she is our #1 ally. We like her, despite her naivete. If it came to blows, we'd side with her. Even if we have to tip our hand and resort to our trump card. A thousand megucas, even unbuffed, can kill a servant. We have an EX phantasm. We have an army, and we fucking WILL use it if we must. If only to strike fear into the other masters that might be watching.
>>24083355We will mention an alliance is possible, but no more. We should not tell her anything she does not directly ask of us.As for our Phantasm, we should not expend it so early, intelligence is everything. And Tomoko must continue to be cultivated as an asset. She must come to rely on us completely.
>>24083397So I agree. But don't hesitate to use a trump card if it will ensure a victory. I may want a happy end to all of this, but I am not naieve. Keep it hidden, keep it safe. For as long as possible. Our army can, and will, be known. Better it be known now than after we are six feet under.
[x] Get in touch with Tomoko before the meeting goes down.Damnit, slowpok'd on the [x] Wish vote because I had to read through the archives. Oh well, I can always support the option when it comes up again.
You flip open a school registry that you had been given when you enrolled and find the phone number for the dorms. You wait through several menus before finally gettting to Tomoko's room. After a few rings, she picks up."Hello?" She says, sound slightly surprised."It's Nicolas. I'm calling to let you know I might be able to finalize an alliance with Monster. I just wanted to warn you." You tell her."Oh, should Assassin and I come? Or maybe just Assassin should go and keep an eye on you?" Tomoko asked."Ah, no. I'll be fine." You reassure her quickly. You don't really want Assassin staring over your shoulder the entire time."Oh, ok. Let me know as soon as you can!" Tomoko asks."Yeah, I will. Good bye." You tell her, hanging up. Your Familiar is finally arriving at the docks as well. You attune yourself to its senses to see the Master already standing at the side of a building. You approach slowly and he perks up as your Familiar comes into view. Your familiar cocks its head and opens its maw to allow you to speak through it again."My Servant has informed me that he can grant Wishes, so long as the recipient has enough Potential." You say."Great. How do we determine if Monster has potential?" He asked."Our Servants will have to meet up. My Servant will then be able to tell if he can grant the wish you two desire." You inform him."Can we meet tonight?" Monster asks from behind your familiar. You have the golem turn, but she's already gone when you do.Meet up tonight-Send Caster alone-Go with Caster--And backupArrange another meeting time
>>24083490[X]Meet up tonight-[X]Send Caster alone-[X]Go with CasterCan't risk it getting killed.
>>24083490Let's go with Caster, and prepare a Golem with the firearms built in as a bodyguard.First panic button is calling Tomoko for aid.Second is Meguca army.
>>24083522I agree with this descision.
>>24083490>Meet up tonight>-Go with Caster>--And backupTo avoid misunderstanding we should let them know we're going to be rolling up with a posse, but I'll be damned if we're letting Caster's E- Endurance ass get withing striking distance without a safety net.
>>24083490Caster has multiple bodies right? I need to know this. I don't want to lose caster if he says no. And he will, if she does not. QB doesn't lie, only speaks in half-truths. I must know if he is in true danger if things go south.
>>24083490>Meet up tonight>-Go with Caster>--And backup(our) Assassin as backup. She can hide and we'll call her to buy time and slow down Monster while we escape if things end badly.
>>24083550We would have to create circumstances where we can ask. We know nothing of QB except what he tells us. In fact, He hasn't even given his True Name to us yet
>>24083577True, but he can tell us if he's in danger of dying in this meeting. We must know this. Nobody risks their servant if they can help it. We must know...
[x] Meet up tonight.-[x] Go with Caster. Is vote formatting not a thing? Ah well, this seems like a good plan. Really hope it doesn't go sour; I want to see this story stretch out for a long time.

Update to the character sheet, by the way.
>>24083521Disregard the 'send caster alone part'.
>>24083660FUCK! He's from the Madokami verse. This is QB after seeing her defy it all. And he don't like it. Keep a command seal people, we can't let him use the grail to kill her. Urobutcher's "happy" end rides on it!
>>24083490meet up have a party, everyone is invited.
>>24083696That was always the plan. We were always planning on killing him.
>>24083660Oh god, the wording on that Noble Phantasm really doesn't beat around the bush.Well, now we have an in-character reason to regard Caster as the evil abomination he is, because goddamn.
>>24083696We need three to make him off himself, by the way.
>>24083721Why?He doesn't have Magic Resistance, and Kayneth only needed one to cause Diarmuid to gank himself.
>>24083721Shouldn't one suffice, or are we going to need one for every pare body he may or may not have in this grail war?
>>24083739*for every spare body....If this ends up being the case, we may have a biiiiiiiiit of trouble come the end of the war.
>>24083721No. We say "By the power of the command seal I command you. Kill your soul, your absolute true self!" We'll tell him as he does so that we loved him, that he was our bro, and that our human, alien thought pattern can and will achieve his end. He did not fight in vain. He won't understand, but we will. He was our bro in the end, we won't betray the devil after all he saved us from...
>>24083766I doubt it will be so simple.
>>24083720I don't follow. In character, "He can no longer use this ability on EX rank individuals" means nothing. I for one am all for fending off the heat death of the universe for as long as possible, as a secondary goal to getting the Grail.
>>24083803It's unconfirmed. He "could" potentially, but such EX rank people are few and very, very far between. We'd have to meet one, and that ain't likely.
>>24083803>The downside is that the girl slowly loses her soul to feed the cost of her wishThe description doesn't tell us that he is stopping the heat death of the universe, it just tells us that he STEALS THE SOULS OF YOUNG GIRLS.
>>24083859We are NOT ignoring one of our Servant's Noble Phantasms in order to appease morality. For once, I think I may be in the right, no?
>>24083859So fucking what? This is not happy go lucky unicorns and rainbows town, it's the fucking Grail War.Fuck appeasing your morality, be practical.
>>24083859Steals the souls of young girls? You say that like it's a bad thing.
>>24083859Did you even watch the show? That's kind of the whole point of Coobie. He's fucking SATAN!!!Get that, understand that, and know why he is the face of all things evil.
>>24083885>>24083889Finally, some men talking sense!
>>24083891No, he's Mephistopheles
>>24083873Oh no, don't misunderstand, I'm not saying we should ignore it.I'm just saying we should be conscious that we have our first in-character confirmation that our Servant is an evil little shit.
>>24083903Good.Now we can stop pretending we can get out of this with clean hands. We are already damned by association. Might as well live up to our Servant.
>>24083891More exclamation points do not make it more true.
>>24083899Who works for whom? Yeah, that's right. I'd post the flowchart, but my net won't cooperate.
>>24083893Thirded. Gather the girls, forge the contracts, use their power, win the war.
>>24083903Blue neutral according to the info we're given (although I think he's closer to Lawful Blue, but whatever.)We could argue for days about whether QB is good or evil, but that's not the point. The point is that he's going to help us win the grail by whatever means necessary, and then we kill him with our command seals before he can get it.
>>24083940Indeed. You get it good sir.
>>24083940Only if necessary. Dude's pretty cool; as long as he doesn't want to end the world with his wish, I'm fine with it. That's also the main point of his existence, so... yeah.
In any case, we're now aware of the Faustian nature of Kyubey wishes. I vote we don't feel comfortable looking for girls to turn into meguca ourselves, but also not constraining our servant by commanding that he doesn't.Results matter, and if he has to steal a thousand mexican children to turn into walking nukepowered child soldiers, well at least they got a better deal than Pic Related gave them

>>24083998We may feel discomfort, but we should recognize the necessity of putting morality aside in order to achieve our goals. If we have to turn Tomoko into one, we will.Good and Evil are irrelevant in the face of results. Also, fuck you, Armstrong was a hero and a patriot.
>>24084062I think you meanBatshit INSAAAAANE!Also, not Tomoko, she will witch like no tomorrow at the slightest provocation, we want at least a month or two out of our child soldiers. As you say, I don't have to like it, but its still a better deal than half the world is gonna offer them."You are going to become a zero sum, gone from history and the world, but your wish can still benefit everyone you loved."
>>24084085Heh, I said that about Tomoko just to provoke someone, honestly. But if it were to become advantageous I would not hesitate.Hell, her wish could be for us to defeat another Master!
"We can meet up tonight. Give me some time to arrive at the docks." You tell them. Monster's Master nods, and you disconnect yourself from the golem."Caster, with me. We need to go meet some people." You say. He hops up onto your shoulder, draping himself around your neck like a scarf.~Should anything seem wrong, Master, I will have a Servant summoned in an instant.~ He reassures you as you head out. As you approach the docks, you can't help but feel a little creeped out by their emptyness. You park the car and make your way through the old warehouses to where your familiar is waiting with Monster and her Master. Caster jumps down and looks over the brown and yellow dressed woman with spider legs carefully.~I may be able to force a Contract, however I cannot guarantee that it will give her the full effect she's looking for.~ Caster warns you."I'm willing to take the risk." Monster says.~Then I would like to to take some time to work with you and observe you so as to remove any potential complications before I attempt to grant your wish.~ Caster warns her."Sounds good to me." Monster agrees."So I guess this means we're in an alliance. I'm John Q Rook, by the way." Monster's Master introduced himself."Nicolas." You answer. Monster and Caster are both discussing something concerning magic that you don't quite understand.[1/2]

>>24084243Someone said it was Yamame earlier, and damned if they weren't right. It makes a lot of sense why she's the Monster class now.
>>24084324She can be. Remember, Info determines the outcome of a Grail War just as surely as your servant. He may have lucked out hardcore if he's good.
>>24084324This amuses me greatly. I have all the historical and mythological knowledge expected of a man with a masters in History, but my Touhou skills are nonexistant. This Grail War will be unkind to my guessing skills. At least I still watch too much anime.
>>24084372Rejoice in the fact its nobody in this picture.
>>24083925And here it is. Let's see if it'll cooperate this time...
>>24084385I'll take your word for it, Im just here for the yuetsu.
>>24084385well, hijiri isn't too bad, as far as final bosses go
>>24084437I'll give you Byakuren, I'm not remembering her powers beside being a leader.I'm not sure who would be worse between the other ones.
>>24084488I'd put yukari as worst problem.Because 'gaps'Seriously, any type of emptiness, any length of time that isn't occupied by something, she can manipulate.Extend the seconds between heartbeats to an hour, or add more gaps to it.open a portable hole style hole at your feet, toy with you forever.Yukari OP, but at least she isn't Reimu
"So, as a word of warning someone is running about with a rather aggravating Archer. I've seen the same Servant now with three different people, so I don't know if they all summoned the same Servant, or if they're sharing a Servant or what." John warns you."Ah, thanks for that. As well, I'm in an alliance with the Master of Assassin, and she will likely wish to extend that alliance to you." You reply."I can confirm that." Assassin said from next to you, nearly giving you a heart attack. John seems to control his reaction a little better than you, as if he's used to this."And this is Assassin." You half heartedly introduce."I do believe I met the Archer you speak of the other night. I got into a bit of a tangle with her. She is rather infuriating." Assassin added. After Caster and Monster get done with their discussion, you all split up for the night. With some luck, you can hopefully finish that generator during the day tomorrow after your morning classes. For that evening, though...You're going to have to come up with a plan.Set up a trap for Archer-With Assassin-With Monster-AloneScout the Town-With Caster-With Saber-With Tomoko's Assassin-With MonsterWrite in
>>24084324I would jsut like to confirm, she isn't a 2hu. Just needed the picture.
>>24084585Lets Trap Archer. With Monster, try out our new partnership. Ask Assassin if she would mind scouting.
>>24084585[X]Set up a trap for Archer-[X]AloneNothing like being proactive in the killing of enemies. The trap holds Archer and we send in an overwhelming force of our allies.
[x] Scout the town.-[x] With Caster...-[x] and Saber.[x] Notify Tomoko of your plan.
>>24084622I agree with notifying Tomoko. And compliment her this time!
>>24084606That's very important information, thank for that op.
>>24084585>I've seen the same Servant now with three different people,Don't tell me it's Elizabeth Bathory...
>>24084633Agree, for entirely different reasons
>>24084585>[X]Set up a trap for Archer>-[X]With MonsterI'm curious about this Archer, and Coobie did say he needed more time with Monster to see if she is suitable or not. We can get two birds with one stone here.
>>24084585Scout the town with Saber and Tomoko's assassin. We need to build trust with her. All megucas are girls, Jack can instafuck any meguca with her NP because it amounts to "Delusional Heartbeat" Zabinaya level. And Coobie can't fight for shit. So she offs our backup, then offs us. NOT GOOD! So yeah, we like her, maybe be in the process of falling for her, but she's our "best friend". Make sure Assassin knows that.
>>24084585Set up a trap for Archer-With our Saber and Assassinneed somebody to cover us while trap setting
>>24084653So true, I am for this.
>>24084674>can insta fuck any meguca>can summon homura who could just time freeze bullet hell out of existancelyl
>>24084722What class of Servant would she be in?Also, we can't just tell QB to SUMMON HOMURA because we don't know who she is.
>>24084722The knives just port into their damn heart. No time is required. That's why Jack is so powerful if you happen to have a vagina. Also, a meguca with an NP (like Homura) is harder to maintain. OP clarified this many posts ago. If we can even get Homura, he won't summon her till at least a few servants are already dead. She's the big guns, he and we are keen on saving them for the finale. We are nowhere near that point yet.
>>24084738It may, at some point, fit our purposes to ask if he has someone who can use firearms...
>>24084738Archer most likely. Not because of the guns, but because the way she acted towards QB makes me think that she'd have a rather high Independent Action skill.
>>24084738actually i think we already summoned her and is our assassin right now.not quite sure though, gonna go look back.anyways i vote we figure out also while we are running around in this war we not only figure out what the crap can coobie actually do but also figure out what the minions coobies summons does.
>>24084738Archer. She has guns, she travels through time like GARcher, and she gives zero shits about her master QB. So yeah, archer.
>>24084768Our assassin is Mami.
>>240847221. Our Megucas don't seem to possess their full ass-kicking capacity, at least without significant boosting.2. Holy Mother of Dismemberment is basically designed to fuck with Magical Girls.Even if Homu pulled time-stop bullet hell the instant she was summoned, it would still result in a mutual kill at best.
>>24084788We need to be careful with Jack.I am not kidding about at least flirting with Tomoko, there is no better way to put a shield between us and the bitch.
>>24084722I don't think its Jack. The non-loliness and calling Tomoko sister instead of mother indicate somebody else
>>24084811whats got me more worried actually is the archer because assassin has already seen her and i'm guessing tried to kill her and failed hard.my question is what in the flying fuck have we walked into?
>>24084786Wait, really? I thought the color scheme was off when her description was given.>>24084843A grail war. We've made our allies; time to kill our enemies.
>>24084811Murder McBitchtits can and will fuck us. She's like the Archer to our Gilgamesh. A natural enemy. My only complaint is that your plan is heartless. Maybe we like her a bit. Maybe we see her naievete as a selling point. Like Shirou's did with Rin. She said she was saved by having a person like him in her life. She's so nice, so kind. And it ain't fake. It's who she really is. It awakened something in us, something we thought didn't, couldn't, exist within a true magus like ourselves.Again, any romance here should be real, not manipulative.
>>24084837I think>>24080109>bank of fogmeans it's Jack.
>>24084843Intelligence is needed. This is why I am in favor of the trap. With Monster to aid us, we will not lose, and have enough power to draw them out so we may have some clue as to Archer's abilities.
>>24084854yeah i know its a war and we gotta kill the archer but the question is how?
>>24084854It sounded like Mami when OP described her.
>>24084858You will get us killed. Thinking like that is tantamount to giving up the grail. You can think what you wish about it, but we should flirt with Tomoko. The reason is irrelevant we desire the immediate outcome of the act.
>>24084843Jack's ability is potent as fuck, but not infallible. If she encountered her during the day, or when she didn't have her evil doom-fog up, then she wouldn't be able to get her Auto-kill off. Also, magic/curse resistance can avoid the insta-kill, and a very high LUCK stat might do the trick as well (similar to how it allows avoidance of insta-kill Gae Bolg).Or Archer might be a Trap
>>24084786>>24084854>>24084871Description of assassin:>A young woman with long black hair in twintails fades into sight in front of you. She's wearing a black and white dress that wraps up and around her shoulders, leaving a small diamond of cleavage open to sight. Wrapped around her waist is a second skirt, almost like a small apron,a bright sunny yellow. She looks at you curiously with brown eyes.
During the school day, you catch John in the Library to ask to borrow his servant for the night. He seems to have been in the middle of looking up something in Sendai. "Hey, I plan to try and set a trp tonight for Archer, and Caster wants to observe Monster some more, so I was wondering if you would be willing to assist me?" You ask him."Definately. They've always shown up the most in the poorer side of town, on the other side of the docks from here." John advises you."Right, thanks. We'll meet up at the docks again tonight." You tell him. He nods and returns to his research. Now, how best to bait an Archer???
>>24084908Use a Lancer class as bait? I can think of no better fodder.
>>24084879Being a little bit moral is not giving up the grail. Kerry won while doing so, why can't we? Again, we can only use the dick once. If we use it, we have committed to her. You can only use the D once in a grail war. Going for a "harem" end yourself is tantamount to suicide. So there is only one question for you. Dick Tomoko, or save it in the hopes of banging a master with a better servant? Do whatever, but choose carefully.
>>24084925I want to summon Kyoko for the job (for she just might win), but that'd pry be too much of a drain on our boy QB. Still, Archer can take a Lancer. He might tip his hand in order to off another knight class. Too bad for him we fooled him...
>>24084938Thats more than a 'little', its a broad base character shift to good morality.Flirting is enough. We want her to latch on, to put up a barrier between us and Assassin.Anything else is up to the rest of you, I speak solely of strategic value.
>>24084904It COULD be the human form of Elly, the TV Witch.>Black hair>Twintails>Fanart of her shows her with a YELLOW APRON LIKE SKIRTWE GOT OUR GIRL
>>24084976We have a winner!
>>24084976>>24084986I dont even know what to think anymore.
GUYS i had an utterly horrible evil idea:since some of us seem to want to be full bastards, is there some way we could summon basic meguca fodder and turn them into witches and let those run across the city dragging out other classes in the process?this is cause massive damage but people will lose the advantage of suprise for everyone but us and the only other one who actually knows what the shit we have is monster and his master, not sure what in the shit jack and tomoko think though as to what we have.
>>24084925I like this. Lancerbait is GO.
>>24084973We can flirt sure, but if we take it farther than that we're into her in a real sense. Again, no falsehoods when it comes to matters of the heart. They always end badly and I intend to play this guy as not "entirely" heartless. Mostly heartless, but not entirely. He does feel, just not as much as "normal" people.>>24084986So he called it? And why would you reveal that OP? I feels a troll post if you're smart. but if not, you need to get smart. I'm part of a quest that has a troll for a GM. I like him, but I know he's a good troll. I adjust my plans accordingly.
>>24085018Thats an option, for a high-profile "Fuck Everyone Time to Change The Game", scenario. Not opposed on principle, but not now.
>>24085018Fuck, man. I thought only Megucas can kill Witches. This plan would end things quickly for everyone.
>>24085018I don't think that would work. I'm sure the description of his Noble Phantasm would mention of the meguca he summoned had the potential to explode into horrible magic-infused monsters of indiscriminate death and destruction.
>>24085044that was pretty much my idea as well and why i suggested it.because literally they would be ended up dragged into a fight against indestructible monster creatures that would end up killing everyone but us.also megucas are retardedly resilient to begin with because you gotta break their soul gems and their anguish powers the coobie to do stronger things.
>>24085029Well, we will see about that. Having her practically enslaved to our dick would be glorious, but its high risk, and we can get what I want just by throwing her flirts and compliments now and then. She's a lonely shut in, we dont need anything physical to make her think we are made for each other.
>>24085018Depends on how many other masters are "true" magi. A true magus only cares about reaching Akasha. Muggles? Innocents? Other people? I care... why? Oh yeah, I don't. Fuck em'! For all we know the other masters are like that. Not a guaranteed plan. Unless they can't resist the kiss of a witch. then they might try to kill em'. But we don't know that.>>24085077She'll ask for it eventually if we hint at it. If we don't give it, Jack will kill us in our sleep. And if even so much as LOOK at another girl she'll knife us up our virgin rectum! She's yandere, she wants Onii-chan to be happy. If we even hint at being anything but utterly in love with her... We die. Game over man, game over!
>>24085044>I thought only Megucas can kill WitchesConceptual Weapons (which most weapon-type Noble Phantasms are in one form or another) usually bypass special resistances like that.
>>24085096As long as she loves us, we have absolute loyalty. Command over two servants. Think of the possibilities. In the short term, flirting is good, can't go wrong.
>>24085029This is something small, and its your own miniservant. I don't feel too bad at revealing her origins. As well, she's pretty much a blank slate for me to play with, so I'm not spoiling much beyond her name. If this was an enemy servant, or someone noble phantasm or skill you hadn't found, I wouldn't have. All i've done here is confirm a character's design.
>>24085125For that matter, we dont know it in character.
>>24085096i don't think it matters what they think; if a witch ends up rampaging through their home threatening them, then they are going to try defending themselves and fail hard.the scale i'm talking about is probably hundreds of meguca going full witch but i agree with the idea this is a last resort thing.i'd call it operation world breaker because to me it feels like something we should probably pull if we are gonna lose.
>>24085134The plan for "We're about to lose" is Meguca "Army of the King" style move. We can be evil Broskander at least once or twice (especially if we involve command seals). Most any servant is fucked if confronted with the true power of an EX rank NP. And what's that? Yeah, we got one. Eat it fuckers!
>>24085164If THAT fails, Witchpocalypse.
Right, I'm going to call it here tonight. We'll pick up at about the same time next week, with trapping an Archer.
>>24085186Damn right. Bluebeard had a point in going the full Cthulu route. I doubt it'll come to that though. A thousand megucas is a very, VERY powerful force to be reckoned with.
>>24085188Farewell, and good travels!
>>24085188see you next week OP, thanks.also guys i was wondering, if we actually had coobie contract monster, does that mean coobie is her master now and can make her go witch because that is retarded.
>>24085207She'll ask before making the contract, or at least, her master will if he isn't retarded. If he don't and lets it all happen he and she get what they deserve. You. Don't. Make. A. Contract. With. Kyubey. EVER!!! Especially if you don't know the consequences. Madoka knew, and she won because of it. If they don't know and make it anyway, all the horror that will be visited upon them is their damn fault.
Glaring holes in the meguca army though:we still need to pay the upkeep costs of each one we summon. If this carries over when they witch out, best case scenario is we'd have 2 active at once. If the costs go up from witching, like beserkers, we'd probably die from paying the mana or the witch would dissapate
>>24085228we can make mana generators for this type of thing though, such as what we were doing earlier.also we could tap leylines to power this.literally we are talking about tapping into pretty much a hugely retarded amount of mana to do this type of thing just in case.
>>24085228We only pay to maintain them. If we only summon them up they get a few minutes before they dissapate. Again, "Army of the King". Broskander only pays for their initial summoning. They last for but a few minutes after that. He could pull this despite the fact he wasn't caster and thus had comparatively shit prana capacity. So we can do the same, especially because QB is caster.
>>24085164The plan has potential, but we would have to make sure not to face a servant that has an Anti-Army Noble Phantasm.
>>24085266that was why witchpocalypse was also talked about because thats really not so much army and more or less anti world/ shitting monsters literally everywhere.
>>24085266http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rT0hDTsNaisWon't matter. A few hundred puella magi can burn themselves out to cancel it out while allowing the rest of the army to charge. You need to watch the show mate. Megucas were low level casters in addition to being their own servant class. OP got this, and made them "suck" for a reason. They can into magic as well.
>>24083696Don't be ridiculous. Kyuubey's wish is to see the universe not end, a goal which Madokami is more likely to assist with than work against.Resentment is an emotion.>>24083940>Lawful BlueNicely put.>>24084416That's early speculah, long since disproven.
