Hello /tg/, I am the illustrious Mr World. Now, I have been working on Lesbian Schoolgirls: True Love but I feel I must post my current progress and see if you have any suggestions for this.I won't be able to work on it for the next two days and I may be indisposed with revision for the remaining two weeks of lesuire. So, please enjoy my progress so far. I'll see if I can post the actual document as well, for your personal editing.Thank you for your time.
Ah, it seems I cannot post documents. Shall I post it to mediafire? Also, here is the previous thread, for those curious: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/23957561/
turn the docs into pdfs and upload those, broski
>>23980358That is what I did with the file on the opening post.
>>23980373rightso now we can save the pdfs as docs and edit as we wish.yay
>>23980373Then why do you need to upload the documents?
>>23980456UhhI never thought of saving pdfs as docs.I feel kind of stupid now.
I can't believe how many of my ideas actually made it in. This is awesome.
>>23980637Which idea was yours, Friend-Anon?Also, you guys got me watching Yuru Yuri. Goddamn it, I don't need more anime to watch.
>>23980664Dream Kisses, the True Love rather than crushes, and nicking the BF/Rival from Panty Explosion.
>>23980729How could I not include them? They are genius.
Does /u/ know about this?
>>23980887I don't think so.
Hmm, maybe a suggestion.Make it so that your Best-Friend doesn't have to have you as their Best-Friend. It avoids creating semi-stable pairs, and creates the situation where your rival considers you their best friend.
>>23981028And now I know where I've aren't hai concept before! Panty Explosion.Srsly, this is worth looking into. Not because the game was any good, but so you can avoid issues they had.
>>23981028Hm, that seems a good/hilarious idea."Chie-senpai, you're such a good friend!""UGH DON'T TOUCH ME"
>>23981096Ignore me, iPhone is crap and I hadn't seen it was a deliberate lift.
You know, something I love is there's nothing requiring your lesbian to be female. You could have an entirely male game, for the shonen-ai crowd, and yet the characters would still technically be Lesbians. It's brilliant.
>>23981103Yeah, it also brings up tsundere romances, as you start to fall for your rival, who considers you their best-friend.Or the possibility of your lovesick rival hanging around while you're trying to confess your feelings to who you think is your true love.
>>23980887We should tell them, we should also let /a/ know that the rules have been compiled since they seemed receptive.
So you can win without finding true love?
>>23981147All Lesbians are bricks.
>>23981330As an optional rule, you can brute force a new true love by getting double the RoPs/Hearts.
How should RoP gain be handled? I think there would a 1d5 roll (in secret by Sensei, no less) for each successful "Moment", but doesn't that mean it would be rather easy to determine how close you are to that all important Kiss? Am I worrying over nothing over here?>>23981330Well, I'm thinking of putting in ways of gaining additional points at the end of the game by aiding your fellow Lesbians, so I guess so!
OP of the original thread here. This is fucking awesome. I'm honestly surprised you guys you responded this well to my stupid idea, let alone actually created something out of it. Especially when I had no ideas for mechanics or anything to begin with.Reading through your initial draft, it's looking pretty solid and fun. Punishment needs to be worked into the actual game more gracefully, I think. At the moment, it's basically just metagame punishment for metagaming, but I feel that there probably is a solution to make it more 'in character'. Can't really think of anything myself though.I look forward to seeing this get fleshed out more fully! May end up trying to run a game with some of my weeb friends at some point. If they respond well to the idea of roleplaying a bunch of schoolgirl lesbians, ofc.
>>23981615I'm sure they will, my friend! Who can resist the chance to play a game of True Love?
>>23981615>Punishment needs to be worked into the actual game more gracefullyA variation on But We're Both Girls, maybe? "But She's A Girl?" If you're telling someone your Romance Meter, in-character that could be assumed to be telling them how much you like/hate someone in a rather crass manner. Some kinda social repercussion from who you're telling it to, the Romance Meter subject in question, peers, parents, etc.
>>23981615this is /tg/, we take our lolis very seriously
On dating:Obviously its in everyone's best interest to raise RoF. There's really no reason other than in character reasons not to get friendly with the other characters. So make dates risky.Date activities:Date activities are another secret thing. In each date there are 5 Date Activities. During each Date Activity, have your lesbian pass a note to sensei containing an action ("Buy X some flowers" "Put my arm around Y in the movies") or pass a note saying pass. If both players use an action, the one that rolled lower succeeds, and the other fails. When you fail, you generate 0 RoP. When one player uses an action, and the other passes, both players gain half RoP for eachother. If both players pass, nothing happens during that Date Action. In addition, once there have been 3 failed rolls of any kind, the date strikes out, and it ends.
>>23982310>There's really no reason other than in character reasons not to get friendly with the other characters.Yeah, where DOES the drama come from anyway? Is it just a comedy game with a side of being forced into relationships sometimes?
>>23982310That sounds like a good idea. I think, then, that Dates should be events that involve the whole group. This forces competition. And Rivals should be able to sabotage another Lesbian's action.
>>23982379Maybe it could be a defensive thing. If you think someone else's RoF is growing too high you can try to engineer drama which will reduce it.
>>23982725Ahah! Sabotage! Just the thing. It is a race to your True Love, after all.
>>23982770>"Yumiko-chan, I, I....">oh shit>"MY PARENTS ARE DEEEEEEAD"
>>23982813More like:>Shit, Yumiko and Chie are getting too close!>Better put sneezing powder in Chie's flowers!
>Lesbian Schoolgirls: True Love goddamn, have a theme song>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOHwVZc6QYYrough lyrics translation (courtesy of Google):>Blushing, getting exciting>Getting Hot my heart races!!>It gonna burst out, it’s gonna shoot out!>My heart is at High Tension! >I came here searching for my destined one, but>rolling up my sleeves, it’s hard choosing a girl.>These flowers are all at full bloom,>I’m so happy~ I’m caught in blooming [season]!>...
>>23983011That's no girl.
>>23980887I stuck it in the Yuru Yuri thread but I'm not sure how many of them have seen it.
>>23983179While it was initially inspired by Yuru Yuri, it's hardly a Yuru Yuri game right now.I say make a new thread there, and let them know. I'm sure they'd appreciate our work.
>>23983237Right, off to bed with me again.I'll note down the number and implement ideas when I get the chance. In the mean time, keeping loving, fellow Lesbians!
