You are a young adult in Tacoma, Washington attending the local college, Miskatonic West. Lately, the whole city seems more foreboding, more tense and you can feel something building in the air. Occasionally, you feel like you're being watched or followed whenever you step outside. You are...Tomoko Kuroki, a young woman who is rather on the short and underdeveloped side due to a small genetic disorder and an exchange student from Fuyuki City on some kind of scholarship mentioning your potential. You’ve spent much of your life alone and absorbed in fiction, preferring the anonymity of the internet and your electronic pastimes to the real world.John Q Rook, a local resident. A neophyte Magus attempting to his first summoning in the husk of a burned out middle school that he once attended. He’s not a social butterfly, due to his obsession with magic, but he attends his classes and church regularly.Marianne Hyde, another local resident. Despite what your grades say, you're not book smart but you are cunning and clever. You’re a mage of admirable talent, with a specialty in getting people to do what you want. You’re a strong presence in the community because of this, but with your magical skills and natural fast talking, you’re able to get out of most bad situations. After all, no one would ever doubt your word.Nicholas Ignatiavich, an exiled Magus from Europe. You’ve spent much of your life exiled from both mundane and magic, due to your obsessive study of your magic and your willingness to use modern technology and conveniences. But you know something big is coming and that you’re the most prepared.Servants and Class are determined by which Summoner you grab.

For the past several months, you've done nothing but prepare for this ritual. You moved here after a nasty bout with an Einzburn when you tried to confront them over the supposed theft of their Grail system, and shortly afterwards the fabled Command Seals appeared on your arm. A sign of great things to come."From Iron comes the beginning, and with effort forms Steel. With a plea and a bargain, the call reaches out. Gates in all directions are closed, coming from the stars salvation appears. Fill. Fill. Fill. Fill. Three times refused, once answered. You shall be under me, as I was under you. In accordance with the resort of the Holy Grail, if you abide by this feeling, this reason, then answer." You recite, channeling your prana into the delicate metalwork in front of you. There's a slight crack of electricity and the smell of ozone, and in front of you sits a strange white cat.~Hello. I am Caster. Are you my Master?~ It speaks directly into your mind. Immediately, you say the first thing that comes to your mind.Yes, I amWho...are you? What are you?Write in

"Well, we should probably set up some defenses here to begin with." You say, grabbing some supplies for making Bounded Fields.~I agree. I can already sense the basic fields you have in place on this location, but more would be appreciated. Would you like me to reinforce your own work, or add my own defenses on top of it? Or shall I focus elsewhere, perhaps on scouting or combat?~ Caster asked as you begin to work on another layer to your bounded field.Lay low. "Actually, I think we may want to grab one of the local leylines. There's one easily accessible in an old school not too far from here." You muse.~That would be most excellent, Nicolas.~ Caster agrees."Excellent. Then let's get going." You tell him. Taking a moment, you load your supplies into your car and Caster hops into the passenger's seat. As you begin unloading your car, Caster seems to bristle slightly.~Nicolas. You grab a flashlight and cautiously approach the school, Caster entwining himself amongst your feet. You can taste something foul in the air as you approach, but feel no sign of a Bounded Field. Caster leads you deeper into the school.~The source of the feeling and the center of the Leyline are here.~ He says softly as you find yourself in the central hallway of the school, a rough summoning circle carved into the wooden floor in front of you. What do you do?
>>23830553I can tell you any potential sources, if you wish, or it can remain a secret. I'll leave it to a vote.

>>23830588Examine the Circle. See if its been used, and if so, any clues as to what may have been summoned.Set Caster on lookout. The last thing we want is the both of us looking at the shiny magic bit, and next thing we know we've got a knife in our kindeys.

"Caster, watch over me." You say, examining it closely. It's not exactly the same, but is incredibly similar to your own summoning circle. It seems more simplistic and amateurish, however. Sadly, if it was used to summon a Servant summoning it would do little for you in the long run. It would still be the best place for the Servant to retreat to if injured. "Alright, Caster, you inspect the circle and I'll keep watch." You tell him.~Very well.~ He says, wandering over to the circle. You look around the burned halls with a cautious eye. Its been over a decade since this school was burnt out, but even so you can feel the presence it has left on the Leyline. ~I can confirm this was used to summon a Servant for the Grail. "Trap it. We need an obvious trap, and then one to gather information." You tell Caster, "I can take care of the information gathering if you can do the heavy lifting?" You ask.~Very well.~ Caster says, moving back into the circle. You start carefully melting tin dust and making a small circle in a back corner of the room, letting the metal seep into the cracks until it's unseen. You decide on a general divination, transferring anything seen or heard to you. On the dark burnt floors Caster is sitting in front of the circle and the rings on his ears glowing slightly."I am she who has signed the Contract and I have answered in Accordance. How may I help you, Masters?" A blue haired young woman asked with blue armor and a white cape.~You are to guard this place and defeat all who would attempt to take it. On your way back, you pester Caster with several unanswered questions."How many Servants can you summon?" You ask him.~Thousands. Anyone whom I've ever Contracted with.~ He answered."And what happens if she fades from lack of mana?"~Then she fades and I cannot resummon her.~"And how much mana does it take to maintain her?"~As long as she's not involved in a fight, she is gaining a net amount from the Leyline for as long as she or I sit there. If she's in a fight, it depends on how tough the fight is. In a tough situation, I can upgrade her capabilities if I must, but it is rather mana intensive.~ Caster explained.Tomorrow, you have a couple minor classes at the college. >>23832170I love how we assume its all animu.
>>23832104I like it. I say we pick a class and ask QB to provide a meguca that best fits it instead of relying on a random meguca.>>23832130I am now awaiting Rika Furude to be summoned as a Lancer with F ranked luck.
>>23832058Same way Sasaki Kojiro (as he exists in Nasucanon) does: human belief and imagination, and qualifying for heroism by its actions being a net positive for humanity in its "myth".>>23832130I'd laugh, because every spirit ever summoned as Berserker is hobbled by the class. Mad Enhancement seems great, but Herakles, Lancelot and Arc in Extra all would have been MUCH more powerful in any other class.Alucard as Archer? We'd all be fucked, do not pass Go, do not collect $200.
>>23832135No, you don't understand my point here. Alucard is one of the most hax vampires I've seen.He survived imaginary numbers.
>>23832191Oh, I know. My point was his class would be irrelevant. He wins. There is nothing we can do short of getting one of the Chaos Gods as a servant.
hey, guys, i gotta move for a bit. I'll be back on and continue in about half an hour.
>>23832207Someone want to archive, just in case? I need to sleep, so I would like to see where this goes tomorrow.
>>23832190Actually now that I think about it, I agree with what >>23832154 said; Guts is Berserker. Alucard would probably be Archer.Whoever wins, we lose. But also win, because seeing them fight would be fucking awesome.
>>23832104Love the psudo servant Idea. However, we, of course, have to go to class with our servant. Because keeping a low profile is ideal for us. Also we are in the US of A so getting fire arms shouldn't be too hard.
>>23832224I think it'll stay alive if we keep discussing who the other Servants might be. I'd like to throw out>Guts as Berserker>Alucard as Archer>Himura Kenshin as Saber>Domon Kasshu as Rider
Go to class first, then make your way to the church. We should report to the overseer and get information on how many servants have been summoned and whatnot.

And I'm back. Looks like we've got a general consesus of going to scholl with Caster and keeping our Servant hidden?
>>23832430pocky uses spears. Also, lancer in long ranged weapons, not spears exclusively.
>>23832468Fate/Extra already did it.
>>23832523Looks that way.And when it becomes relevant, lets not forget to do >>23832104 and pull a Servant fake-out.

>>23832533Yeah, but he was just a shitty Berserker. The fucker qualifies for five classes. FIVE. There is still plenty to work with there. And Lu Bu is great.
The next morning you leave your run down apartment in the slums for your college. You can feel Caster's spiritual presence wrapped around you almost like a snake as you make your way through the quiet town. The locals all seem tense and stressed, as if they can feel what's going to happen. Its a little depressing, if you're honest with yourself. As you arrive at college, you park in a back lot away from where most people go. Your car may be a pile of junk, but no sense leaving it where you know someone else will probably hit it. You manage to make it through your Intro to Mechanics class fairly uneventfully, chatting a bit with the teacher and a few other students on the project you'll have to complete at the end of semester. Caster himself seems to offer some insights as well, correcting a few mistakes you make before they become disastrous. But on your way to Intro to Programming Caster's aura seems to tense up.~Nicolas. I can sense a Master.~ He whispers in your mind, ~I can lead you to him, or we can avoid him.~Confront the Master-with the frinedly approach-with an aggressive approachAvoid the Master-And strike later-Spy on themWrite in

>>23832711Bonus points: Make our Faux-Servant a famous one that Kyubey contracted centuries ago, like Joan of Arc.I doubt that we'd get the Joan of Arc recorded in the Throne of Heroes, but summoning a fake famous hero and pretending she's our servant to fuck with other masters amuses me to no end.
>>23832738>Avoid the Master>-Spy on themNeed information on them before we decide if we're going to team up or kill them off immediately.
>>23832738Spy on them. Also, further thoughts: If we manage to gank an enemy Servant early we can use our fake-out plan to mimic that Class, reducing the odds of anyone figuring out we're using a fake dramatically.

>>23832767Why don't we get an 1800s looking girl and have her call herself the Blair witch? That'd scare the shit out of some people.
>>23832854Because then they'd start using anti-caster techniques that may still be effective against QB. We should get them to think we're a different class altogether, in addition to hiding our identity, probably by having another summon pretend to be us.
"Let's avoid them for now. We'll work on spying on them after class." You mumble under your breath.~Very well. Right now, they are two floors above us and a hundred feet south east.~ Caster warned. You carefully make your way to class, and try your best to concentrate on it, but the presence of that other Master worries you. In the end, you're too distracted to answer any of the questions asked of you, nor do you get any work done on your projects. After class, Caster speaks up again.~The enemy Master is heading towards the dorms.~ Caster informs you. You'd stick out like a sore thumb over there, the dorms are fairly small and everyone knows everyone else. Although, if you hurry you can probably catch sight of the enemy Master before they get too far.Have Caster follow the enemyFollow them yourself with Caster's helpHurry to catch sight of themWrite in

>>23832987>Hurry to catch sight of themLets keep it low-magic. They may not have noticed us yet. If we start casting shit they might notice, and I don't like the idea of letting Caster off the leash.
>>23832923I like this idea. If Kyubey can support it, we could send out 2-3 different teams, all searching for other masters and Servants. At least one other Master has to bite.>>23833008I'm ...hesitant to call Homura. The moment we summon her she could shoot Kyubey, and possibly us as well for summoning him. We should ask Kyubey how much control he has over them first.
>>23832987Hurry to catch sight of them.if they see us we can play it off as looking for an alliance in the early stages of the war or something i suppose. I also wonder if Caster used the summon circle to summon a saber Class Zombie because the Circle was Saber Class...
[x] Hurry to catch sight of them.
>>23828663Why are all this Grail War Quests taking place in/by mah T-Town? I knew building that UW was going to be nothing but trouble.
You quickly pack your books up and shove them into your bag and rush out of the classroom, and rush down the crowded hallways. ~Eastern exit, three hundred feet past the amphitheater.~ Caster informs you. You quickly turn left bursting through the doors. Just cressting the corner by the amphitheater in library is a girl that you recognize only because of your research on the previous Grail Wars. Tomoko Kuroki, a girl from Fuyuki city. The city where the Einzburn Grail was. She looks young, younger than she should. Like she's barely into her teens when she's truly twenty. Neoteny, you think, or something related to it. You never would have pegged her as a Master.~Nicolas, remember. If you ever need a Servant name the class you wish and I can provide one. Or if you wish me to act, merely speak and I shall do what I must.~ Caster reassured you.Now what?

>>23833192Nothing right now, but we're going to want to force a confrontation between "our Servant" and hers later. I suggest summoning a Saber and having it drop in on her dorm tonight while we watch through binoculars.
>>23833192EVIL PLAN!Send an Assassin after her. If her Servant fights it off, then we just gained delicious intel, while making her think Assassin is after her.If our fake-Assassin would somehow succeed, we burst in at the last second and "rescue" her.
>>23833192Summon servant assassin and have them shadow her to find out who she summoned.
>>23833192[X] Tell Kyubey "Joan of Arc as Saber on standby. She will act as a dummy Servant. Make sure she can arrive to our location immediately if things go badly."[X] Greet Tomoko, propose alliance. Try and get her to reveal her Servant's class first before we do, on the off chance it's Saber. In which case instead of Saber Joan of Arc we go for Lancer Joan of Arc.I think she might be able to be summoned as Lancer with the right catalyst.
>>23833285I support this plan.
>>23833284>If our fake-Assassin would somehow succeed, we burst in at the last second and finish her.Fix'd.
>>23833285I also support this plan.
>>23833299Unless Joan was a meguca... i don't think kyubey has that much power... kyoko on the other hand, don't specify names of servants, but tell him have two servants at ready of different classes, follow plan nubum afterwords.
>>23833284Wait a second, can't Servants ping other Servants? The only reason QB wouldn't be Detecting Outsider is if she's already got Assassin. In which case we send TWO Assassins after her for MAXIMUM PARANOIA. I'm also not opposed to the changes suggested; Magi walk a path of death after all.
>>23833192Summon up either Headless Mami as a fake Archer or Kyokou as a fake Lancer. Alternately use H. N. Elly's magical girl to be fake Assassin and freak her out into revealing her servant.
>>23833318If she's incompetent enough to die on the first day of the War, to a FAKE Assassin no less, then that means she's got that perfect mix of incompetence and naiveté that makes for the ideal expendable underling. Why kill her now when we can just trick her later into committing Servant-assisted suicide while furthering our goals?
>>23833192Roll to seduce.
>>23833334I'm pretty sure in one of the short clips where Kyubey was explaining the history behind magical girls Joan of Arc was shown, as well as Cleopatra. If it wasn't shown then, then it was when Madokami was saving the past megucas.I'm also not expecting to get the Joan of Arc on the Throne of Heroes, so I'm pretty sure it's not going to be anywhere near the real Joan of Arc's strength as a Servant.
>>23833334If I remember correctly, she was.>>23833368It might just mean her Servant isn't currently with her. It could be out scouting, guarding an important location, or she could just be stupid.
>>23833431>or she could just be stupidRight, right, rule zero: Never ascribe to cleverness what is probably just dumb luck.>>23833411On the other hand, what if we actually get Ruler? Do we start practicing our maniacal laugh?
>>23833192Summon Madokami and just win the war already.

>>23833546Hence why we need the leylines. get them and drain all of the nearby energy into winning the war. After all it's not like we could get counter forced for trying.
>>23833477So long as we laugh maniacally AFTER we kill an enemy servant and not a moment before, I'm okay with this. We'll have to save Joan of Arc for Saber or Berserker if we do get Ruler. Her NP is a mutual KO, and I'd rather not waste it this early on....Although if we use command seals to bring her back, we're looking at 3 OHKOs here.
>>23833597Two. You use the third to order your Servant to commit suicide as last step to completing the Great Grail.
>>23833614No, three. We get one the first time we summon her, spend two commands seals for 2 more OHKO, and the last one to kill QB.
>>23833631we don't get extra command seals for summoning extra servants.
>>23833646What? No, that isn't what he's saying at all. Please reading comprehension now good, ok?
>>23833631Wait, we have Command Seals for the Servants of our Servants?Oh, no wait. The first death is the free one, then we use the Command Seals to get her back twice, meaning three OHKOs for two Command Seals. Clever. And evil. I like the cut of your jib.
>>23833646I didn't say anything about extra command seals. I'm talking about QB's NP.>Noble Phantasms:>Souls of the Pure EX>The ability to manifest the spirits of those who have made a contract with this strange being, It Summons them as Servants and can sustain them for as long as it receives sufficient mana. Once the spirit has disippated however, only the expenditure of a Command Seal will allow the spirit to be summoned a second time.
You quickly turn back and head inside, finding an empty classroom and whispering under your breath, "Assassin, please." And there's a slight glow at your feet, illuminating the wires underneath the desks around you. You pause for a moment, making certain that no one noticed, but the door remains shut. A young woman with long black hair in twin tails fades into sight in front of you. She's wearing a black and white dress that wraps up and around her shoulders, leaving a small diamond of cleavage open to sight. Wrapped around her waist is a second skirt, almost like a small apron,a bright sunny yellow. She looks at you curiously with brown eyes."Follow Tomoko Kuroki, in the dorms. She looks young, easily the youngest looking person there. Thin, black hair. Unkempt. If you need more, ask Caster." You tell her. She nods and disappears with a slight crack of electricity. Now, what shall you do?Wait on a report from your AssassinHead home for the dayCheck on the trapped schoolWrite in
>>23833705>Wait on a report from your AssassinLets follow this up.
>>23833705Wait outside the school for assassin report. We will learn of this Tomoko person, then we will use what we have learned to get close to her. then we will create a great and powerful combination! or we'll use her up and tell her to become a meguca for our gain after her servant dies.
>>23833705She'll find us later, no reason we can't multi-task. Let's hit up the school for information!
>>23833705Pretend that were a normal student, do studies and shit while waiting for fauz-assassin to come back. If she doesnt, send two more.
>>23833768I change my mind, instead of pretending to do shit, ask people about her. If we have any friends at school, ask them first, then teachers, and the last resort is students. We need info. And if out faux-assassin doesnt come back, send like 5 of them, 4 to attack and 1 to watch the attack to see what went wrong.
>>23833768and if they don't come back, send three?I honestly think that pulling a zero assassin legion on a master would be hilarious."I don't know how many of us are going to die, but eventually we will bury you under our bodies"
>>23833564What happens if you run out of mana? Already know how it can be restored. And is ordering your Servant to commit suicide required to complete the grail, or is it just done to make sure they don't screw you over? If the latter, what happened to cause this suggestion to come into effect?
Question: Will Caster be aware if one of our faux-Servants bites the dust? That could be highly relevant.
>>23833850We just need to have sex with out Servant to restore manaJust my fetish.
>>23833850Mana is the energy outside you that you absorb and channel into spells.your thinking of Odo, which most mages avoid using because its casting from HP.The Servantcide is to create the Heaven's Feel, which breaks a hole in reality for you so that you can reach the root or whatever. otherwise the grail just acts as a big ass mana battery.(Which is secretly possessed by an angry jewish man)
>>23833705>[X] Ask caster how many Servants he can summon and maintain at once.He said he can summon thousands, but that's diferent from how many he can actually maintain at once before the prana drain becomes too much for him. All of our current brainstormed plans require multiple Servants, so knowing what the cap is, how many can fight at one time, how many can remain passive in spirit mode, and if there is a hard limit on how long they can last would be important. If prana becomes an issue, we can summon a Caster mecuga to take over the ley line and redirect the mana to QB.
>>23833877No.We could have sex with another mage though. like the one we currently have an assassin spying on. which likely has never had any experience with the opposite sex. who we can mold into a perfect partner on our grail quest.
>>23833922No. I want. To fuck. QB.He shall be our source of infinite mana.Because I desire to stick my penis in the maw he uses to swallow grief seeds.
>>23833994Its a rare day when this pic is actually related.
>>23833994Don't do it.It's tripp'in balls in there.
Re:Caster QuestionsI don't have the means to readily edit the character sheet right now, but yes. Caster can tell when his connection with his Servants is severed and he can maintain as many as mana can be provided for. The hard part is in channeling the necessary power.
>>23833994You know what, I second the motion.
>>23834072Can I stick my penis into the Grief-Hole and regain mana?I need to know this.
>>23833705[X] Go to town and buy the required materials to make bombs. If anyone asks it's for a project.
>>23834101You can make napalm with ordinary gasoline and soap shavings.
>>23834115True, but napalm isn't what I'm thinking of. I was thinking of a shrapnel bomb set to detonate when some approaches it. That way we have a chance to seriously wound the master who tries to go back to the old school.
>>23834141I'd be leery of just leaving explosives lying around.Next thing you know a group of children are sneaking into the scary abandoned building on a dare, and BOOM, dead kids. The the FBI is on our ass.
You roam around campus, trying to find people who know anything about Tomoko. It turns out to be harder than you expected. You ask a few of your classmates at first, and they mention that they see her in the library a lot, and the few that share classes with her mention that she seems to skip class alot. Its with a sense of frustration that you return home and collapse on your couch. Caster materializes in your lap and you rub his head softly between the ears. You're mildly distracted by the fluffy marshmellow soft texture he has when the faux-Assassin shows up. "I met her Servant. It's another Assassin." She answers, somewhat breathlessly, her brown eyes glancing about the room frantically. Caster bristles at the mention of an Assassin.Confront Tomoko-For an alliance-Kill herScout the townUp your defensesWrite in
>>23834163That's when the fusion of magic and tech works to our advantage. If we set the detonator to only work when someone with a certain amount of magic in their body that would avoid civilian casualties.
>>23834141Implying Sayaka's Unlimited Blade works won't kill the master just as dead.
>>23834141The Servant would probably detech some sorta entry or danger. What would be better is subtly fucking her over, like with an extreme laxative. If we lace the food in her dorm with it, people will think its just a prank at the end result, and it probably wont register as *DANGEROUS* on a Servant's sixth sense array.
>>23834187[X]Write inSee if our girl here has any more details. If she got any more information on Tomoko than that, if she got any more detail on the enemy other than it being Assassin, how strong an Atelier she has and its location, if it's in the dorms or not. Also, pet the Kyubei.
>>23834187>It's another AssassinThis is the part where I gloat. Is there anything we can do to make an Assassin detector? Not that I think downing Assassin would be difficult, but that Presence Concealment is as dangerous to us as an Anti-Army Noble Phantasm at point blank range.
>>23834187Confront Tomoko for an alliance.Out of the three most fucked servants. Assassin is two of them.If we are assassin's friend however, we don't have to live in a white, locked room without any trace of shadow, and we'd be in the best position to stick the master with a knife ourselves.
>>23834187Let's play this carefully; Assassin can be dangerous if we don't handle this carefully. I say we go in for an alliance, but up our defenses as well, and use a faux-servant. QB has to remain a secret or we lose our main advantage.
>>23834187[X]Scout the town[X]Up your defensesLeaving the cat to bolster the defenses while we walk and scout the town with assassin would ensure that other masters would think they're our servant.
Rolled 91>>23834187>Confront Tomoko>-?>--[X] Using another Meguca as a Faux Master in case things go badly.I'm split on allying with her and killing her. 1-50 kill, 51-100 alliance
>>23834187Well fuck, thats the one thing I was hoping wouldn't happen. Assuming Assassin spotted us while we were at school, the appearance of faux-Assassin will have tipped her off that we have Caster if she's smart. We should deal with this ASAP.>[X]Confront Tomoko>-[x] For an AllianceI don't like the idea of forcing a fight against the real Assassin right now, but if we leave her alone she might decide to gank us.
>>23834206Since she has Assassin, summon up a fake Lancer or Archer, make it seem like we have a better Servant for direct confrontation. Confront her and offer a team up, since you would be able to protect her better than a Servant meant for stealth rather than frontal assault. If she says no, give QB the cue to just rain down thousands of Puella down her throat. She will join us or die. Thats the ultimatum with a hero like Assassin.Oh also ask faux-assassin for more info on real-assassin.
>>23834306Theres no way for her to know that our Servant was a fake Assassin. For all she knows, it was a fake Rider or Archer. That is, IF she saw our assassin.
>>23834187[X]Confront Tomoko-[x]For an allianceCaster is terrible vs AssassinAssassin is terrible vs EVERYONE ELSEIts a prudent measure for both of us until the massive fucktrain that is the Knight classes are dealt with.
>>23834309At some point we're going to run into a problem with our mana. All theses servants can't be easy to maintain.
>>23834342Summon a Caster, have her take over a ley line, direct Prana to QB.
>>23834342We have infinite faux-servants, so sayeth QB. We dont need to keep them all active. We can de-summon one to remove its mana cost and summon one that suits our needs better.
>>23834362or better idea, take over a leyline ourselves and pump mana into us. because you know, not that i don't trust QB, but I don't trust QB.
>>23834377Yes, but that doesn't mean they're all going to be equally useful, and we're limited to two re-summons.I'd wager that the more we keep cycling though QB's summons, the quicker we start dipping into the ones that died to a Witch their first day on the job.
Calling it for allying with Tomoko. how do you want to do this confrontation? With just your Assassin and Caster by your side, or do you want to summon another servant? Or perhaps you want to go swing by the school and pieck up your Saber and leave Assassin there? I'll give you a bit to decide on how to handle this.
I'm for leaving Assassin at the school and going in with only Saber. While Caster works on making a fortress.
>>23834429We just need to keep the powerful ones to ourselves, ones surrounded by sorrow and grief, like Madoka and assuming the little things when Madokami was flying around, Cleopatra and Joan de Arc and probably Homura. Also we should ask if we can summon witches, since then we can just pop out Kriemhild Gretchen and Homullily.
>>23834435I say pick of Saber and drop off Assassin, for two reasons:1. If it comes down to a fight, I'm going to guess our faux-Assassin won't be able to take on the real Assassin, while a faux-Saber probably could.2. We shouldn't keep summoning more extra servants if not strictly necessary, at least not until we've got a nice big mana battery set up.
>>23834429>...We don't have to kill one of the mahou shoujo, just unsummon it. Command Seals are only required when one of them dies.
>>23834435Swap Assassin for Saber. If the deal goes south it would be good to have some muscle on our side. Plus assassin would be more fit to ambush whoever came upon that trap. But leave Caster at home. We can call him with a command seal if need be.
>>23834435Can we summon witches? As forout proposed alliance, we probably need to know if our Assassin was spotted. If she was, we could pop up with her and say shes Rider or Archer. If she wasnt, we could either go get Sayaka or summon another puella and claim to have a much better, more combat oriented Servant.
>>23834476Souls of the Pure EXOnce the spirit has disippated however, only the expenditure of a Command Seal will allow the spirit to be summoned a second time. This part seems to me that once they're desummoned they're gone for good.
>>23834476Would unsummoning them count as dissipating them though? Because QB's NP specifies dissipates, not killed.
>>23834514Has it correct. Desummoning does make them go away forever.
>>23834503Based on >She answers, somewhat breathlessly, her brown eyes glancing about the room franticallyI'm going to guess ours was spotted.Although I don't think trying to bluff it away as a Rider/Archer would do much good, since the whole Presence Concealment thing kinda gives you away as an Assassin once you're spotted.
>>23834577That depends on if ours has that like the real one. Being a fake Servant, it might not.
>>23834577What we definitely shouldnt do is reveal that we have Caster. Caster is dicks to Assassin, its pretty much the only class Assassins good against.
>>23834610I would certainly HOPE it has it, because that single ability is the only reason the Assassin class even exists.
>>23834653I thought Assassin existed to be a punching bag for the classes that matter and Lancer.
>>23834706Well that too, but you know what I mean.
Well this anon's heading to bed, you fa/tg/uys better keep the thread going. Remember, she will join us or die.

"Alright. Caster, Assassin. We're going. We need to make an alliance with Tomoko before she decides to stab us in the back." You declare."Master, I'm rather worried about her Assassin. She spotted me, confronted me about my spying." Assassin answered, somewhat fearful."Don't worry, I'm going to have you guarding someplace. I'll take the guard, Saber, with me instead." You reassure her. She nods and lets out a grateful sounding sigh.-----------A couple hours later, you're making your way towards the dormitories on campus. You've left Caster a little ways back, just in case Tomoko's Servant could have sensed him. Instead, you're with the blue haired Saber Caster had summoned the other night. She's currently in her spirit form, a soothing presence next to you. You look around at the strangely gothic architecture, some if it strange and jarring next to more modern buildings. It feels like nothing her belongs, like it was rejecteed from everywhere else. Tomoko's dorm is supposedly on the first floor, in the building furthest back. As you approach her door, you can hear two voices chatting animatedly until suddenly they fall quiet. You're about to knock on the door when Saber suddenly materializes next to you, a small knife embedded in her arm."Peace! Peace!" You exclaim, holding your hands up as if surrendering. Tomoko's door slams open and she glares at the silver haired young woman tanding across from you and your Saber."Neechan! Wait" Tomoko order, her messy black hair obscuring her sleepy looking eyes. The silver haired assassin pauses for a moment, glancing between us warily."I can take them, Imouto. I could kill the Master and get you out of her before she could do anything. I could probably even kill her, too." Assassin growled."And what about the next pair? And the next? No, Oneechan, we're allying with them! And that's final!" Tomoko declared. With that apparently dealt with, she turns to face you.
We'll pick up here same time next week, people. I ought to probably sleep as well.
I can't tell if she's a japanophile, or if that's just her mannerism. Anyways looks like we have an ally.
>>23834919Oh god this poor girl.Inexperienced Magus, probably little to no combat experience, and she pulls fucking Assassin. She'd have been dead inside 48 hours if we hadn't shown up.
>>23834929Haha, time to speculate Assassin's identity!
>>23834929Alright, thanks for the thread. We'll (I'll) aim for Joan of Arc next thread!
>>23835061>I can't tell if she's a japanophile, or if that's just her mannerism.Who, the Servant or the girl? Because the girl is actually Japanese.I do like that she and her Servant seem to have developed a sister-like relationship. Potentially lots of emotional attachment there, easy to exploit and manipulate.
>>23835169I assumed the girl told her servant to refer to her in that way. Though I do agree that she seems easy to manipulate.
>>23829578>>23829578>~Then the Contract is Established. May our partnership be fruitful, Master.~ Caster replied.Wow. I like how we are already fucked from the Get-Go.In case you guys didn`t notice, let me spell that out again for you:We have made a contract with QB.Doesn`t matter who wins the grail war, we are still fucked. Game over, man, game over!
>>23835219How so? We have command seals.
>>23835113Alright guys, lets get to it!What we know about the Servant:-Silver Hair-Female-Qualifies for Assassin-Possibly Japanese, assuming the "Imouto" mannerism wasn't just picked up from her Master.-The Master is shy, and Servants often have compatible personality types if they were cold-summoned, as seems likely given the Masters apparent inexperience.Based on that, this would be my first guess. Amusingly, this would actually fit right in with the typical Nasuverse gender-bending of historical figures.
>>23835219If that's so, we lost right at the get go. OP said whatever Servants we got depended on the master we chose.Whatever happens to us because of this contract, we're damn well going to exploit everything we have to win, or die fucking everyone over.Hell, for all we know QB could be like Avenger. If he dies and gets sucked into the grail, he might end up sticking around to grant every wish he can in future grail wars.
>>23835297She could also female Jack the Ripper. After all there was no description of her clothes.
>>23835297Reverse google image search told me this little tidbit:>Voiced by Kaneda, Tomokoentirely possible you're on to something there.
>>23835321Hmm, point.FOR NEXT THREAD: Ask OP whether Assassin's clothes/weapons are eastern or western. If eastern, try to get her to attempt saying a long sentence. If she starts stuttering like a broken lawnmower, then we've confirmed for >>23835297.
>>23835333I feel like this is appropriate here.
>>23835321Just looked up Jack, doesn't seem to fit. If it was her I'm sure we would have gotten a hint as soon as we saw her. She's... visually distinct, for want of a better term. Also the fact that she didn't attempt to dismember us points towards "no".
