Previous threads:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?searchall=millicent+fauxlyWe are Millicent "Millie" Fauxly. Young witch newly accepted into the prestigious Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You are a pureblood, something your mother and father take much pride in, and you have known a life of luxury and wealth. You're sister Maud is in her third year, she is your bitter rival. Ever since you were little you've been at eachother's throats, mainly because Dad's had a certain favor for you over her. You have been known to be antisocial and reclusive from others, being a recluse at home was easy, but in the hustle and bustle of Hogwarts you can feel your walls coming down.

It's about time you did some research on the Mannequin research enchantment. Excusing yourself from the table you leave for the library, passing Nigel and Sam who seem to be talking like old friends again. It's lunch so the library is filled to the brim with other students trying to cram a little knowledge in before next lesson. Lets see what you can find. Roll 1d100. 65 or less wins.

You find several useful pieces of information. Your read a book about enchanted clocks and how they can be made to do all sorts of things. In another book you read about how crystal orbs where used in the Dark Ages to absorb the evil spirits which roamed the land terrorizing people. There isn't anything specific to Mannequin building but there have been instances where wizards have switched bodies by way of hexes and curses. It seems strange to you that schools don't teach students to create their own spells, because a spin on the soul-switching spell might be what you're looking for. You also find a section on "magical contracts" a type of spell which binds wizards to hold true to their promises or contractual obligations. An example of which would be if a wizard entered himself into the Triwizard Tournament and was accepted, he or she would have to take part of face the hefty consequences.Further investigation may be needed.
>>23334089Now that's interesting. Should we perhaps reasearch a little bit on Professor Trib's curse while we're on the library?
The bell rings for potions class and you and the other students file out. You're feeling a little overworked from studying and drained from the days previous adrenaline fuelled tears. The sooner this class is over the better. You enter the class with your friends and sit with Olivia. Professor Trib enters, back hunched, hands together, evil looking eyes darting from student to student. "Today we will be learning about harmful potions and how to detect them by smell" she says Roll 1d100. 45 or less wins.

Professor Trib, ever the practical teacher, thinks it best to give three little viles to students filled with three different potions. You have to chance it as you drink a mouthful of golden liquid that feels nice and warm down your throat, almost like hot chocolate. You're pretty sure you chose the right one.
