The Story of Omar Denis Continues! I apologize for the bit of Hiatus, I had to fix up some details. It's true what they say, starting a quest thread is easy, carrying it on is what begins to get more difficult! However this is interesting...Previous threads can be found here:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=OverhumanYou control the fate of an invoker named Omar Denis. After losing his parents due to circumstances beyond his control, Omar unlocked his latent potential as an Overhuman.Recruited by a mysterious woman in black, known as "Fauna," he entered into an organization known as "Renaissance."During the training of his powers, he absorbed the legend of the phoenix and shot up in danger levels among the organization, tested in the desert, he was allowed to live..Having recently forgiven Renaissance's missteppings, Omar seeks to change this organization from within!Last time: Omar had a risky encounter with Violet that ended abruptly after Katie calling him in his room. With the distraction out of the way, Omar meets Katie at the sparring sands and she aids in the making of his memento: A red glass Phoenix with his mother's ashes mixed into the form.Last time: Omar finished a match with Katie by breaking through her defence, breaking her ribs with concussive force. He learns of Animists healing and the pain that they endure, holding their bodies together through such punishment with the power of their spirit.Learning of Katie's past over breakfast, he finds that she comes from a background devoid of such a happiness that she currently displays... He finds himself growing to care for her, and realizing that Fauna, despite her misgivings, has done what she can to protect him.. What more is there to that psychotic bitch?
I think about what Fauna's done, the few times she has intervened... You know...She's crazy as hell, has more issues bottled up in her than pretty much anyone else here. She's hard to get along with, and literally beat me half to death to see what I was capable of.But, she's protecting me in her own way. She's given me good advice on what to reveal to Renaissance and what not to reveal. On how to remain impressive, but not so impressive that they look too closely and dissect me or consider me too much of a threat to live. She doesn't let me get too close to protect me, both from herself and from Renaissance so they can't use us against each other. She was the one who came in and saved me from the fire, she cares, somewhere deep down in the shriveled remains of her heart in between the beatings and stranglings. Still, complete bitch...In my internal musing,I find myself physically nodding.Katie looks at me with an inherent curiousity," Umm, Omar, heh, you ok?""Y-yeah, I'm fine. You might be right about Fauna. She's not so bad.""Well, it's umm, good that you don't think so." She smiles, getting up from my bed, and heading to the door."I've got an appointment in one of the training rooms soon, I'll see you later, ok?"Wait, she's still going to go train after such a fresh injury?Katie..> Don't go, cancel it, you're in no condition.> Good luck, Don't push it too hard.> Well, you're no pushover, are you?> Write in.Secondary> I'm worried though.> She'll be fine.> Why should I really care? She's... Broken..> Write in.

I've added more tiers to the ranks to give a more identifiable level.. I don't exactly have comparisons, however there are examples in this quest...Novice Rank1Apprentice Rank 2Journeyman Rank 3Advanced Rank 4Adept Rank 5Expert Rank 6Master Rank 7Grandmaster Rank 8Demigod Rank 9God Rank 10Further, to make combat a bit more tactical in approach to powers, I'll be measuring Omar's "Resource" for Magical power..Omar begins at 25/25For an evolution shift, it costs 5For a concept shift, it costs 2 +1 per post. For Reinforcement it costs 2+ 2 per postFor Quickening it costs 3 for the post that it's used.To acquire a new form, it costs anywhere from 5-15Any questions, or suggestions about this, let me know!
Current capacity is 15/25
>>23228589Truth, I'm also Gol D. Roger if you follow Grand Ocean!

sup>>23228589I'll agree with him.
>>23228798Because that goes into basis of luck, and I'm not fond of something randomly exploding for whatever reason. You guys don't necessarily need to keep track of the resource, however I will in the background.Oh, and for big things (snapback to the phoenix absorption) there will be rolls for that. Along with rolls for determining the cost of a new form.
"Katie, wait." I stand from the bed, and walk over to her as she turns, waiting for me to say something with a slight smile."You... You're in no condition. I wouldn't feel good about you taking on training in the condition you're in, why don't you cancel it?"With a shake of her head, Katie simply replies," No.""Why? Is it about credits? That you need to get stronger?" I step back from her, I don't want to pressure her or anything after all."I want to. I didn't have anything to look forward to before I came to this place. My life was a lot worse, with the state of the country..." She steps close to me, and lays a hand on my check. At this closeness, I'm lost in her smiling green eyes for a moment..."Don't worry too much about me... Ok?" I feel her hand leave my cheek, and she begins to leave again.Do I stop her?> I'll let her go. It's her wish, right?> I don't like this, and I won't let her go,> I'll even use force if I need to.> It's none of my concern, I need to worry about myself.

>>23229069Nothing yet scheduled. So today Omar's pretty much free.
>>23228961> I'll let her go. It's her wish, right? It's her life
>>23229043To do this,we'll need to punch in for the same training, and Omar will be required to go through it as well.Despite the fact that she's an animist, she's been doing mostly invoker-like training, so it's plausible.

I watch her leave, something in me desires that I go with her, even if I couldn't do much... But, she's been through this before right? And she endures. Ever smiling, she still just endures. I don't know if I could ever be like that... I mean, I endure, but.. I clutch the glass phoenix in my hand and against my chest. Now alone in my room, I realize... Here, I have suffered, here, I have endured... but now a thought nags in the back of my mind... What about the outside? Why does Renaissance keep us here, where are we deployed?I had heard rumors of the U.S. using Overs against the invading forces on the West Coast.. now that I think about it.. If they invaded the West coast... How did we hold them at the Rockies?When... When was Renaissance founded?Could this organization have direct dealings with the U.S.? Wait.. Where's dad.. they never said anything about him when I got here... Since I'm already standing by the door, I take the console's tablet off of its place by the door and put in Wallie's name to contact him.It takes a few moments for him to pick up, with the video coming on, I see that he's in some kind of a lab... or is that one of the medical rooms?"Heyyy Shrimp, How's it goin?""It's goin pretty good man, I was wondering if you had some time to talk in person. I have some ques- Did you just call me Shrimp?""Heh, hell yeah kid! It's perfect for ya! You've been doin those crazy shrimp shifts and shit! I heard about your run in with the Kraken! Pretty slick kid, pretty slick, were you sayin somethin?""Y-yeah... I wanted to ask you some questions, you free?""Ohh yeah kid, I'm free. Just checkin up on the gang, they just got back! Kill, Lock and Eliza.Kill got back a couple days ago, but he had to recover from his mission. Eliza and Lock are here for an exam. We usually get one before and after missions to make sure we're feeling alright and all, but look at me goin on. Come meet me in the West Med-bay, A-4.""Alright, I'll be there." "See ya soon kid!"The call is hung up.I don't have to meet Wallie right away... So I look through the catalog to see if there's anything interesting. In the weapons section, I see that a great deal has opened up for me... Handguns, rifles, even semi-automatic sub-machines... There's a disclaimer that states that weapons will be regulated to training, and missions only.Well.. if I want a gun or something, now would be the time...In the more expensive menus, it shows more interesting weapons... Ones that I didn't even know existed...As an invoker, do I even want a weapon?Spartan uses one.. but Fauna and Kill seem content in hand to hand... Maybe I should ask Wallie about the weapons in the field first...> Meet up with Wallie, worry about weapons later.> Look at the exotic menu.> Look at the Standard menu.(list will be posted if a menu is chosen)

I put in an order for an mp3 player, while I debate whether to order one of the exotic weapons for deployment...I finally settle on the Hisonic emitter. It could be useful in the field.Putting the console away, and checking on my credit balance real quick, I change into a new white shirt, and tan cargos that were placed in my drawer. It's nothing fancy or anything... suppose Renaissance doesn't want me to walk around naked...I open the door and head to the med-bay to meet with Wallie, Kill, Eliza, and Lock.- - - - - -Entering West med-bay, room A-4, I see Eliza i an IV, and Lock testing an injury. Kill's sitting down in a chair and Wallie's running his mouth as usual, they all turn, to me.Wallie's the first to greet me," Hey Shrimp, glad you could show up! It's been a bit since we've all been together like this."Kill smirks at me, I see a couple new scars on him, he seems a bit stronger than before too," Hey kid, how's it goin? You looked like shit last I seen ya. Heh.. You back on the treadmill?""Man, I can't just stay down from something like that, right? I reply," Gotta keep getting tougher if I want to make it here, right?"Kill, Eliza, and Lock all chuckle at that, Wallie laughs out loud," Man, you sure are right about that kid! and you sure showed us one, what with handing the Kraken it's ass!"Lock, stares at me calmly this entire time, the reticules in his eyes a bit unnerving now," Even I could've told you what you did before is dangerous... but hey, you're good now, and we're back, despite it all."There's a bit of a pause now... Her ability allows her to form puppet constructs that can be controlled remotely and have even been observed acting independently. She has taken to using various gems as totems to better focus and distribute her power over as many as seven different constructs.Tuni was the one with Sonics. We heard that Lock's power involves Targeting. "So, Where did you go for your missions? You all made it back alive, so that's good right?"Lock and Eliza look to each other, Wallie chuckles a little, and Kill looks down."Omar," Eliza's the one that speaks," The missions went well, for what it's worth. Anything other than that, we are not at liberty to disclose.. Think of it as a doctor's silence, or something of that sort..."Lock continues," It's a good rule here. We're employed by various people to put our talents to use. Often, we are deployed to aid in condlicting sides of an engagement, not to say that we are pitted against each other, but-"Wallie carries this on," It's business kid. And in business, you can't get too attached. We also don't want to ahare information with opposing sides, because of course, that's part of the policy."Kill looks up and smiles kind of sadly," Once you take a mission for a side in a conflict, they keep assigning you that side... Though they tend to make sure that we don't come into contact with each other... Is it usually combat, or are there noncombatant missions such as delivery or escort?"Lock, rises up, giving a gesture to Elixa who relaxes in her seat. Wallie starts to say something, but Lock simply says," I'll handle this one... I have the most experience in the field after all."Lock stands before me, staring at me with his one eye, the other covered in an eyepatch. He wears his usual gray turtleneck, and stands at ease before me."You'd normally hear this before a debriefing... However, now's as good a time as any.For your first question, Renaissance is not a mercenary organization.""Wait, it's not?""No. Renaissance focuses on R & D of technology, and Overhuman ability... What many know as magic. Our assignments are usually suggested based on our abilities. However, as stated before, when you take a mission, your side is decided for you. Renaissance employs us in this way so that they may attain field data, show the results of our training, and acquire sustained funding for our facilities. This is not the only facility, mind you. . ."Lock carries on, now pacing back and forth while the others hold their silence, their unwillingness to interrupt him shows something for his character and the respect hat they have for him. . .Lock Carries on," Assignments are not always Combat oriented... I would not call an assassination combat after all." He does not laugh," We are employed in multiple facets and scales of warfare... Political, Information, Social, and then the killing kind... We're usually very good at the killing kind. You should pick a field that you'd like to "work" in. and focus on it... For invokers, Infiltration, anti-over combat, and the like are usually adequate. (cont)
If you were an evoker or animist, fabrication might be an option... But that is not the case." Lock takes his seat once more."The sides we take are not our choice, and we're locked in them. For your information though... You can request associates here to be assigned to the same mission as yourself if they are on the same side, or have participated in an unrelated conflict... If you'd like, we could request you for our next mission relevant to your abilities...To finish, we often operate in squads of three. Invoker, Evoker, and Animist to have a body available for counter magic should it be necessary... The battlefield has become a new hell on earth... >>23233030This question was meant for the purpose of where it concerns Omar morally. As an invoker, he's most like to kill others with his bare hands when it comes to it. As for middle ground on Morality, this is playing more on the point that one does not simply become a merciless killer overnight. Some shut away the feeling for the action, and let the backlash hit them later. Others will simply refuse based on what's civil, what they've been raised with.Aside from that. Working for Renaissance isn't necessarily Omar's only option.

I'm not altogether against the idea of being a soldier of fortune, however I have a nagging feeling in the back of my mind that mom wouldn't have wanted this for me...That's some terrible irony after all... Save her son, only for him to proceed to murder others.. It's ironic and a terrible feeling.. I can't just kill indiscriminately. I should only need to take a life for survival. I wonder what these guys would think of that?Kill's had apparently had his share of violence... slugging it out in the field with people that... use reality defying powers.. or whatever his missions tend to entail...It seems for Lock that his trigger finger isn't attached to he conscience.. I.. I don't think I want to be like that...I reflexively clutch the glass Phoenix, that soothing, burning sensation returning to my hand.Kill looks up at me," You okay, Shrimp?"I nod, backing up a bit," Y-yeah... Thank you guys for your time... And thank you, Lock. I didn't know too much about this...Thank you for informing me."Lock nods, and Wallie yawns a bit, as he sees me leave," Where ya goin' Shrimp? Feels like you just got here."I bow my head slightly,"Not sure yet... I've got some things to think about... It was good to see you guys again."I turn and leave the medical chamber.Taking my right hand away from the phoenix, I look at my palm to see that its smoldering like embers for a moment before returning to normal.Mom? I never really thought about it, but this... cafeteria looks more like a cafe... There are some tables in the center, the ambience is a bit more subdued or brighter depending on the time of day... and there are booths. The cafeteria line is hardly ever really full and is quite a bit more like an order counter. Sure the food is often prepared beforehand, but it's usually pretty fresh... Not a real bad place...Eating a grilled Italian sandwhich, I don't really taste too much of it, and my mind wanders.Since I've been here, they've put me through "training" that's obviously unethical.. especially with human subjects.. That is, unless they even consider Overhumans to BE human anymore...And there's Fauna... She's been here at the exact right times to protect me or guide me... however infrequent they have been,... Why would she tell me to keep my natural power hidden unless...Unless she... Wanted to give me the option to leave? Could that be it? Then again, there haven't been any security measures in place to keep any of us from running... in fact, most people seem pretty content here save for the trouble-starting oddball such as Violet... I haven't seen her since this morning... I wonder what she meant by what she had said..."I know how to what'll fix this." What did that even mean?Ok, no.. I need to focus. If I can possibly leave here... Where would I go? I'm not quite sure what desert we're in but.. with my power, I'd be fine, wouldn't I? I could get out of here, I could be free... What's even happening in other parts of the world right now? That oath of secrecy is annoying... I'll need to go on missions if I want anything.. and even then, it'll only be one side of a given conflict,.. though that may be hinting at something. How many factions are at large in the world right now anyway?
> I would like to see Fauna, I'm certain that she could have some answers.> I'll bide my time... I just need to get more powerful.> I'm worried about Katie... and Violet.. What is she up to?> I'm just going to go back to my chambers and relax..
>>23233836> I'm worried about Katie... and Violet.. What is she up to?Mostly worried about Katie.
>>23233836>I would like to see Fauna, I'm certain that she could have some answers. And> I'm worried about Katie...
>>23233836>>23233797(Thank you for archiving this, Dranule. I'm going to go to bed now, since it's 2:20 AM and I have class later today)
>>23233836>[x] I would like to see Fauna, I'm certain that she could have some answers.>[x] I'll bide my time... I just need to get more powerful.>[x] I'm worried about Katie... and Violet.. What is she up to?> I'm just going to go back to my chambers and relax..
>>23233930No prob, take it easy.
>>23233836> I'm worried about Katie... and Violet.. What is she up to?...Why is this all one option? Is Violet... "fixing" the situation between us and Katie?
>>23233973I think she's chill too, she is just trying to hard.
I'd honestly like to see Fauna again.. If she was willing to help me once, why wouldn't she again? Yet.. Katie's condition, and what Violet said before she went off on her own accord...Something about that troubles me. If I have a sixth sense for this or whatever, I hope it's wrong...I finish up my sandwich, and put the tray in the return slot.Going to the nearest console in the Cafeteria, I punch in Katie's name, I'm going to see how she is... she should be done with her training by now, even if animists don't get tired. The console rings a couple times before Katie picks up the call. The video coming on, I can see that she's at least no worse or better than I saw her, but... she's not smiling."Oh, hello Omar, what's up?""Ah, not much, I just wanted to see how you were doing. You know, checking up after we parted this morning.""Ah." Ah, she says... What... What's going on."Are.. Are you alright Katie?""Yeah.. I'm fine, why are you so worried?""Well, you're not smiling... You always smile.""Maybe I don't feel like smiling right now. Maybe I'm not all that happy, hm?" She starts to lose her patience," Look, did you want something? I'm a bit busy."This is strange, really strange.> Ask Questions (State)> "Ok, fuck you too," hang up.> Confess your love for her.> Ask her if she'd like to do an assignment together tomorrow, or sortie for a mission.> Write in.
>>23234231"Oh god fucking damn it, I'm going to burn violet to a crisp and scatter the ashes to the four winds."Hang up.
>>23234231[X] Write in."I was just checking in on you, you went training with some rather broken ribs and I wanted to be sure you were okay. What are you busy with? Have you seen Violet today?"
>>23234257While she's obviously controlled by violet, I don't think this is the way to go about things.
>>23234231>>23234262Seems a bit prying if shes not being controlled. I'd just say tell her that you can wait to ask her later and go look for violet.
>>23234280My logic is, Violet has to be in relatively close proximity to someone in order to affect the. She would likely be within earshot of this exchange. If we intimidate her, we could probably get her to cut the crap.
>>23234293Eh she's not that bad and I'd rather not make enemies. Better to solve in calmly then like a lunatic
As Omar's looked at Violet's bio before... here it is...Margaret WillowNickname: VioletFemaleAge: 21Danger Class: COverhuman type: EvokerEthnicity: CaucasianInjuries: NoneMagic:Conceptualization(Expert)Thought implantation(Natural; Specialization)Suggestion(Natural; Specialization)Mark of Power: Purple eyesNote: Fails to take interest in other aspects of Evocation, focusing purely on her ability of thought implantation in the form of suggestion and persuasion, her projected ability at Conceptualization in this ability is clearly above average and focused to a point that she's worked hard to attain. Often only takes deployment on non-combat missions. Effective diplomat.
>>23234308She's manipulative, and only seeks to advance her own agenda. Remember what Wallie told us, her origin story could be a complete fabrication. She had a bunch of soldiers about to kill themselves when Wallie found her. She's sociopathic. Not a creature to be shown sympathy.
>>23234341Everyone here deserves sympathy so far, and she's shown no strong ill will towards us so far (or anyone), just a bit of a clingy nature.
>>23234231Give Katie a surprise visit asap, see if Violet's there.
>>23234374>>23234374She attempted to molest us.Then knocked us unconscious. Then tried to rape us.Then attempted to sabotage the friendship/relationship with Katie. And now might be controlling Katie to advance her own agenda. The mark of a sociopath is not malignancy; the mark of a sociopath is a complete disinterest in anything but yourself. The highly specialized nature of her magic backs this up.
>>23234421To be fair, the knocking unconscious was an order by Renaissance.
>>23234421If you want to go and declare war on one of the 2 most able people that can kill us that's fine, but it's just silly. And it was really rape or molest, more of seduction. Dont get me wrong, she's crazy, but so is almost everyone else. Im half sure Katie thinks shes playing a god damn vidya gaem
>>23234463The only way she could kill us is if she convinced us to use our own power to burn ourselves out. Our weakness to her is lessened the more we disdain her.
>>23234487No its not. If she made soldiers kill themselves, im sure with anger she can make us kill ourselves.
>>23234506Also we are only reborn in fire.
Anti-Violet strategy: eat her mind control, use the energy to evolve better resistance to mind control.
>>23234506She's an Evoker, we're an Invoker, we can just eat at her power if she tries to fuck with us. She has no physical defenses, we can take her.
>>23234506>>23234515We have no viable means of killing ourselves unless we overdraw and our body starts breaking down. Unless you mean dashing our head against the floor, but that would be slow and ineffective. Nigh impossible at this point. We could probably survive a gunshot to the head, with the strength our bones seem to show.
>>23234526If she doesnt take us first. Im just saying we should be catious
>>23234518Can we do this...?
>>23234550Oh my fucking Goddess.Guys guyshey guysguysWe can conceptualize Bella from the Twilight saga (since it's literally impssible for her mind to be read/controlled)
>>23234575Why? Why would you even bring that up? WHY!
>>23234550>>23234518Violet's power is a metaphysical attack. She mingles strong thoughts into the flow to affect sentient and sapient minds. It's as much of a mental attack as spiritual. We can eat the power as our form of resistance, however evolving to resist the power would require an evolution of the soul. That's a farrr more advanced technique...
>>23234592>>23234597Guys, it's quite possible I wanted to make my own assumptions of the book without trusting to other's.
>>23234633How'd that work out?
>>23234595Hang on.If we manage the Phoenix's Rebirth, then we lose mind and keep soul, right? So what if we evolved our soul to store all our mind?
"I was just checking in on you, you went training with some rather broken ribs and I wanted to be sure you were okay.So... are you busy with? Have you seen Violet today?"Katie rolls her eyes," Look, see? I'm fine... I was busy ordering some things from the catalog with the credits I've gotten, and yeah, I ran into that girl that was in your room earlier..."She looks away before glancing back to the camera," I... I didn't think that you two were involved like that... I.. I didn't mean." Her frown gets a lot deeper, almost as though she's going to cry.So Violet DID do something... Honestly, out of everyone here, she's been the most antagonistic towards me... Even despite Fauna's abuses, she never... She never... She wanted to manipulate me...I... I think I should keep that in mind.> I'm sorry, I don't know what she told you, nut it's not the truth,> I actually like you...>It's true, she and I are involved... But, I wanted to be friends with you.(Lie)> It's true, she and I are involved... But, I wanted to be friends with you> Hang Up> Write in
>>23234676If the soul and mind were merged perfectly into one, Omar would attain a perfect Reincarnation cycle. But that's If. and such an evolution is beyond his current skill or comprehension.
>>23234684God damn its like highschool for superheroesJust say its not the truth and that you'll talk to her later. And then we can talk to violet rationally
>>23234684> I'm sorry, I don't know what she told you, nut it's not the truth,> I actually like you...
>>23234684>[x] I'm sorry, I don't know what she told you, it's not the truth. And then confess feelings for her.
>>23234724>>23234718God damn it guys, what the hell?
>>23234684>I'm gay, fuck off.
>>23234739>It's almost to the point where this is the best option.
>>23234753Why do all the bitches want the dick?
>>23234684[X] Write in"Katie, I'm not entirely sure what she told you, but she did not tell you the truth. I don't like doing this over the phone."Pretty close to > I'm sorry, I don't know what she told you, nut it's not the truth, and talking to her after that.
>>23234762Im fine with this, I just don't think we should get all mushy right away.
>>23234762Alright, I'll change my vote to this, I guess.
>>23234762Agreed - we need to know what Violet is up to, along with stopping this bullshit.
>>23234762This is good.
"Katie, I'm not entirely sure what she told you, but she did not tell you the truth. I don't like doing this over the phone."Katie looks directly at the camera, at me, frowning quite a bit more, I clutch the glass Phoenix in my anxiety, her eyes glance at the action."She.. she told me you would say something like that.. (Write in)> Apologize, hang up, and look for Violet.> Write in.
>>23234878Yo man this bitch is smart. Apologize, reassuring her that it's not true, and go find Violet so we can clear this shit up like a person.
>>23234878Tell Katie that Violet used her emotion toward us to manipulate her against us.then we kill Violet
>>23234878> Try to make her see reason somehow... (Write in)"I want you to think very carefully about what you know of violet, and the magic she cast. >>23234981Why does everyone hate violet so damn much?
>>23235000Because she's a manipulative cunt.
>>23235000She's a cunt, and I can tell she's going to be a lot of trouble for us later on.So I think killing her will stop the problem before it begins.
>>23235000She's a manipulative cunt who only cares about us for our power.
>>23235005Only because she loves us so hard>>23235015She can also be an extremely valuable ally
>>23234878"Katie, could you look up Violet's profile. Do you see the part where it says 'thought implantation'? You've met me, I'm about as subtle as someone putting a brick in a sock and hitting you with it. My powers consist of hitting you with sea-life inspired clubs and setting myself on fire. Do you really think I could pull off anything that complicated?"
>>23235015I'm not saying we should kill her, I kind of like Violet, but I do want to clear this mess. We can have a chat with Violet afterwards, make it clear that we would like to talk to her and spend time with her, but the moment she tries to brainfuck us the conversation is over.
>>23235027I thought of that, but honestly, how can we trust her?She can make anyone think anything she wants.I'm sure she could make it so that someone would get a timer sort of thing -so they'd kill us a month or so after she put it in their head
>>23235027She doesn't love us at all, she just wants us to think she does.
>>23235065We can't but noone else can either. She like Mystique from X-men. She may be manipulative as fuck and out for herself, but that just makes it easier to find a way to make her side with us
>>23235077And if she admires power, then there is one way to convince her
>>23235029That was good, that gave me a good chuckle...
>>23235097...Become her bitch?
>>23235123No, become stronger than her. Make her our bitch, but not lady friend
>>23235129It is literally, as clear as the sun shining in the sky, that Violet doesn't care two shits for us.
>>23235077>>23235097Guys I think >>23235074 hit the nail on the head.
>>23235129Oh, you mean become her bodyguard bitch who "she can't control".
>>23235161Your right, lets kill her thats much smarter
>>23235196We're not killing any body! At most we'll give her a rigorous verbal tongue lashing followed by the silent treatment. Unless she takes physical damage from being called a 'cunt' 37 times in under a minute.
>>23235227that way we'll become her bitch.so why not give her rancid vagina a physical tongue lashing?
>>23235227I hear she might turn australian if you do that.
>>23235246Straya day cuntGit out me country, its full

Then we kill Violet. Are the options to choose from.
>>23235236Violet, by her own admission, has difficulty mind controlling those that dislike her/are experiencing any strong emotion. Plus, we're a fellow Over. Killing her would likely just end in our own death by the hands of Renaissance, or at the very least their displeasure.
>>23235246So she'd go... down under?Anyway, we need some way to keep Violet from fucking over our lives. The only ways to do that are to undergo a rigorous training regime to alter our soul, kill the bitch, or something I can't think of.
>>23235271>Both hate Violet and care about Katie.>>23235029I vote for this one here.
>>23235271I wrote the second one, I care about Katie, I don't hate Violet and want to talk to her without her trying to mindfuck us. I'm against killing her, it's a stupid, stupid, stupid idea.
>>23235272>by her own admissionYeah, okay. I guess you're right :)We'll trust the girl that's been manipulating us from the start.
>>23235271I want to Ask Wallie/Lock what'll happen to us after we kill her.
>>23235272I find it interesting that you stated the latter option to be their displeasure... seems you have the impression they don't give much of a fuck.
>>23235271I like Katie as a character more, but just see value in a friend like violet as well. I'm not one to throw away opportunities like thatGo with the one with us not being subtle.
>>23235271I guess I'll take option number 2.Although next time we see Violet, tell her if she tries shit like this again we're nailing her to a wall.
>>23235280Actually, us altering our soul doesn't stop her from turning everyone else against us, so kill the bitch or something I can't think of are the only solutions.
>>23235384We could always just talk her into chilling out. She seems to have no friends, so maybe she's just being angsty
>>23235424I am perfectly OK with trying that as long as "kill the bitch" remains an option.
>>23235465Everything's an option, but Im always against killing bitches
I vote on killing her.
I vote that it's not yet time to vote on whether or not we should kill her.
>>23235477Omar is fairly anti-killing. Why?
>>23235477Killing anyone is almost as out of character as not being pissed off.
>>23235509Well, I don't know what you guys see, but I see that keeping her alive will only bring worse shit.If we bring her with us if we escape, she'll cause discontention with whoever else we bring and just fuck everything up.If we don't escape, she'll eventually turn everyone against us like she did with Katie.
>>23235519Heh, I think he should be pissed off, just not pissed off enough to fuck with someone like her.
"Katie, could you look up Violet's profile. Do you see the part where it says 'thought implantation'?You've met me, I'm about as subtle as someone putting a brick in a sock and hitting you with it. My powers consist of hitting you with sea-life inspired clubs and setting myself on fire. Do you really think I could pull off anything that complicated?"I see her eyes shift, and she moves her hand to another part of the screen. At first, I think she's going to hang up on me, but she stays on the line,"I... I really want to... I want to believe you.." I hear her mumble under her breath.I don't say anything more, I can't aggravate this.. After a few moments of watching her eyes reading something on the screen, she sighs."I... I guess you're telling the truth..." She looks away from the screen again, appearing to almost pout."I wouldn't lie to you Katie..."Her eyes shift back and she frowns again, her mouth slightly open in a mild scowl,"I still... I'm not happy right now... I'm especially not happy with you... Though I guedd it's because of this magic or whatver...Leave me alone for a bit, I'll see what I can do, ok? Jus... Just wait...(Ending it here for the night, guys, at the point of dozing off. I started early to make up a bit for the absence, as always I love writing you you guys! I'll be back Tuesday night, 7:30 UTC-8.Also, since I got out of this little stop-up with Overhuman, I'll be alternating between this and Grand Ocean again... though Tuesday will be for an Overhuman... See you guys then!)Oh, and as usual, I'll be on for about 10-20 more minutes to answer questions if any, and I'm still accepting character/ ability ideas via my email which is in the field.)
>>23235523We're not even entirely sure if we're going to escape yet though we probably will.>>23235535And I don't think Omar is pussy enough to take this insult without some form of revenge.
>>23235544Revenge doesn't do shit except make room for more revenge
>>23235556Unless its for a reason anyway, like breaking out of a place that doesnt give a shit if you die
>>23235556She's not nearly as scary as you make her out to be. We could boil her in a heart beat if we wanted to. We're not invincible, and there are plenty of Overs who could kill us in this facility, but seriously keep in mind we're a Class A, Class S when we go full retard, and she's a Class C.
>>23235588She has potential to be beyond S rank. She's a pretty big enemy to make.
>>23235595Which is why we need to kill her.
>>23235595Only if you magnified her power from "About 20 people" to "A stadium full".
>>23235556But Violet's the exact kind of person where if we just let her do as she wishes without repercussion she'll keep doing what she has been.We need to do something to her that would dissuade her from further fuckery. I would suggest some type of application of force, involving carpentry nails.>>23235588>>23235595Her power isn't very useful in a direct conflict, and she isn't anywhere near the level it would take for her to be s-class. >>23235602Well, neutralise, at any rate.Maybe we could just give her severe brain damage, or put her into a coma.
>>23235602Or get her to chill out, which I'd think would be fairly easily.>>23235613Mind control should always be a scary thing
>>23235633You are the only person, literally the only guy, who thinks she is anything but a manipulative bitch.

>>23235677Bro, Fauna's my Waifu. I just don't think shes all that evil, and especially not evil enough to kill. We should be mad, but I dont think we should burn all of our fucking bridges down.
>>23235721She's not evil enough to kill, she's evil enough to make people kill themselves.
>>23235735She specefically doesn't take kill missions, so I don't see why she would start killing people unless its for her survival
>>23235743We'r hiding or True Nature, why can't she be doing the same?
>>23235769we're hiding our*
>>23235677I don't mind her. She's more than a bit crazy, but you can't throw a rock without hitting a loon in this place. We need to have a talk with her about boundaries, killing her isn't the answer.
>>23235769She could be, but for what reason?
>>23235777This fucking guy. Thank god for him.
>>23235780Why are we?
>>23235792Because we want to be free from Ren.If that's what she wants, then all the more reason to team up with here
>>23235798Because it's our only chance of survival*
>>23235811Regardless, if she's hiding her power level too we probably have some common ground.
>>23235823She could be hiding a fucking psychopath, dude...
>>23235831So could Katie. Doesn't mean its likely, especially considering half the people we know are 17
>>23235839Violet manipulates everyone in every conversation she has.Why would we want to ally with someone like that?Like Qurl said a couple threads ago, she could look like anything and be tricking our mind.
>>23235858Im just saying killing the bitch ain't the smartest of theories, and considering shes pretty hardcore loner, maybe some company will make her less batshit crazy
>>23235839>>23235858I leave for a few minutes and you guys are talking about killing somebody....I lurk these threads because I am confident you guys won't needlessly do anything reckless or stupid...killing violet is not the answer here.i think the best option is to go for words, if words don't work then maybe threats and violence
>>23235877Im fine with words, just not threats, violence, or making her hate us.
The argument seems to be that Bobo thinks that under Violet's manipulative psychotic bitch shell there is a decent person, while everyone else thinks that under that manipulative psychotic bitch shell there are MORE LAYERS OF MANIPULATIVE PSYCHOTIC BITCH, under which there might be the nicest girl, but IT IS NOT WORTH GETTING TO THAT POINT.
>>23235886I'd rather exhaust the option of diplomancy first
>>23235887That's a fair analysis of my thoughts>>23235901If diplomacy fails then we can talk at that point
>>23235887No, I think everybody else thinks that she's a manipulative cunt to the core but don't quite want to murder her outright. Although I don't want to kill her for this one offense I want to inflict some type of smaller physical harm that would remind her to not do shit like this. Maybe break a finger or something and tell her that next time we break her neck.
>>23235928>Violet's a soicopath
>>23235942In my personal experience you can reason with a sociopath for the short term but when it comes to long term, it just doesn't cut it.inb4: You don't know what a sociopath is, yes I do a normal person wouldn't stab me.
>>23235942She obviously doesn't give a shit about anything we have to say if it's just words, it needs something tangible to back it up or she'll just disregard it and keep cunting around like the cuntface she is.
>>23235995Yes they would.Sociopaths are cut off from their emotions in an extremely difficult way to get passed. They literally do not care for people.Psychopaths are the same -bar one major difference- they have the capacity (and usual enjoyment) of murder.
>>23236014Really a normal person would stab me unprovoked? I find this hard to believe. Yes I was stabbed unprovoked, I was studying/doing homework when my roommate came in, I greeted him and went back to my studies. He came up from behind me and stabbed me in the hand with a graphite pencil, that doesn't sound very normal.
>>23235995I was trying to point out the Irony of a post that claims we should break her fingers and claims that she is fucked up.
>>23236059Maybe you didn't take the garbage out.
>>23236080It was at military boarding school, the garbage cans were in the hall.Plus I kept my living quarters very clean.
>>23236095>military boarding schoolHow hardcore was it? Military tends to fuck with people's minds.
>>23236062Would Violet count breaking her fingers as foreplay?
>>23236095Always found this stuff interesting. What country?
>>23236113Er don't answer if you dont want to, I know its kind of going to far into it at this point
>>23236113>>23236126It was like juvie for people who didn't go to juvie. It sold itself as a College Prep school.First day I got there, I was asked what I did to get in here. The staff treated us like prisoners, food was disgusting/unhealthy. I saw rats the size of small cats. I got sick many times, got salmonella and food poisoning. Some people were caught in criminal activities and the court gave them the option of juvie or the school. It was in the United States.I didn't do anything to go there, a parent of mine died and my grandparents didn't want to deal with me since the other parent(addicted to drugs) wasn't fit to take care of me. Plus I was adopted
>>23236172What a shit hole that place was
>>23236184Your telling me I was there for 7 years. College is nothing like that. In college you don't get 4 other roommates(who are crazy).
>>23236213at least you didn't get raped, lol
>>23236326If I wasn't a dude I might've. My childhood was definitely though, and if I ever have kids I am not taking the easy way out and sending them to a boarding school of any kind.
